A que no me dejas Episode 20 (10.07.16) All lies matter, including the white ones and even the ones in the flashbacks...
After the dust has settled, Karette has to apologize to Flavio and after doing it, she complaints about Paulette's "betrayal". I guess she calls betrayal the fact that this time she was left out of the lie, since only Camilo is the one who knows what's going on.
In the precinct where Adrián has been taken, Camilo talks to his father about the "secret" also known as the "lie" that involves him and Paulette. When she returns, she says that Adrán rejected Alfonso as his lawyer. She feels devastated and Camilo tries to take her with him away from this place. While doing that, Juliette gets there with Odette and Jaime and quickly attacks Paulette because she was not expecting to see her here. Juliette blames Gonzalo and threats Pau yet again with the documents she have, saying that even when the wedding was interrupted, she can still send Mr Murat to jail, so the best thing is to take Adrián out.
-I will sink you all! -can be heard all the way out while Pau leaves with Camilo.
In another part of town, Nuriette inquiries about the prices and the pros and cons in the abortion clinic because she is decided to extract the product of that one night stand with the thief who took her pierce in Beach Pretty. Since yesterday she saw two little lines in the pregnancy test, she thought she had twins, so the price could be a little more expensive. She, of course, doesn't care about money, but want a quick and clean job. Tomorrow maybe? Sure, as long as you pay in advance. And as she gets her checkbook and is ready to pay, a "nurse" comes out all stained in blood yelling that something went wrong with the abortion she was doing and it is possible that the client could die. The receptionist runs with her and Nuriette runs outside changing her plans. There's only one option when you decide to keep the baby, so the next logical step is to look for the daddy.
The Murat's get home and while Gonzalo gets settled, Inette tells Chelette to take little Mau to his room. It's been so much, he must be both tired and distraught.
Once alone, Inette tells her husband that she is not quite getting what happened because she is sure Paulette loves Adrián and this is something very weird. Gonzalo keeps trying to convince her that he doesn't see anything unusual.
Well, Adrián is nor a delinquent. I could put my hands on fire for him. I am sure this is all a bad misunderstanding.
In the kitchenette, little Mau rejects the milk he is offered but when Inette gets there, he agrees to be more calm with her. She reassures him that Paulette will be back soon into their lives.
Nuriette's plan has started to run and the first step involves alcohol. She gets into a bar and orders tequila.
Jueréver Juliette is there's chaos and now the guards are not allowing her to see Adrián. She makes a very big deal about it and I am sure she wishes she knew who to go to bed with in order to make things go faster. Body-matic, never leave home without it.
Jaime gets there too and they seem to know the personnel very well. Someone named Pascual will do everything in his power to clear things for Adrián. Jaime even offers to take a second mortgage of the house to get the money needed to free Adrián.
Camilo and Paulette talk about the recently found news. If Nuriette didn't have to do with Adrián's detention, who did? Maybe Juliette is right and was my father!
Meanwhile, in Karette's boutique, love seems to show its head, when Flavio insists that no apologies are necessary and no expenses need to be covered. After all, nobody got married, right? He seems a little too much interested in her but she "wants to be alone". It's understandable.
What she really wanted was to flashback a little bit with her flirting to Camilo.
When Juliette finally gets to see Adrián, she claims that he should be free immediately because he is innocent! He shouldn't be imprisoned between 15 to 40 years for drug dealing. Her case is that Adrián should never get close to the Murats ever again, including and not limited to Paulette. I am sure Gonzalo did this to you -she says- take off that blindfold from your eyes my heart!!
Then he says what she wanted to hear:
-I will never see Paulette again for as long as I live, I swear! Everything between us is over!
Actually, I don't believe in his promises, because I remember him saying to Paulette that in the future. even if everything was against her and there was evidence to incriminate her, he was not going to believe anything except what she said. He was only trusting her. Where is all that trust? Where is all that love and where is all that jealousy coming from?
Concerned about little Mau, Inette called the doctor and the doctor said, no more jumping on the bed.
Gastón, the doctor who is more interested in Inette's wellbeing than in little Mau's, think both have been severely affected and should take a rest. He will teach little Mau some exercises and maybe she should learn that too to do them with the boy afterwards.
Gonzalo, sure that all men are like him, suspects that something funny is going on between the doctor and his wife, so, to mark his territory, grabs her arm like Homero Addams and plants a kiss in it. Translation: This woman IS MINE!
Once the doctor and the patients are out of sight, Gonzalo takes this chance to call Monique and demand that nobody in that family gets close to Paulette ever!
Thanks to her mother and the kids, that are annoying her all the time, Monique is not in a very good mood and is not ready to take orders so, she tells him that the only one who is not going to see them IS HIM!! You heard right, you better forget about us, because you will ever see your kids again!
Damn woman, you don't tell me who I can or can not see!
I am glad Gonzalo's heart is fine, because after this, Paulette gets in the office and demands an explanation now that she is sure he is actually guilty of the fraud that killed both Adrián's father and Edgar. You know what, dad? This was my sacrifice! Juliette threaten with send you to jail and I stopped my wedding to Adrián for you! Now it is your turn and take him out of jail, because Juliette will not stop until she sees her brother free and she has the documents to send you to rot in jail.
In the Fonsecas residence, Raquette insists that she doesn't understand why Camilo is once again with Paulette and she is sure that Gonzalo has something to do with Adrián's detention. If he is able to cheat Inette with another woman, he is able of everything!
In little Mau's bedroom, things get heated when Gastón tells Inette she needs care and he is going to provide it for her. She cries and he almost kisses her cheeks but instead hands her a handkerchief. She confesses she has HBP (high blood pressure) and he quickly withdraws his baumanometer to see exactly how high it is right now. Wow! It is high, and if he keeps getting closer the mercury could leak out of that thing!!
Somewhere near the beach. Paulette tells Camilo she needs to talk to Karette and clear things up, because she is not getting it and didn't have time to explain why she showed up saying that she was with Camilo again. Yes, please do, where is all this lying taking us?
Well... things are getting p-r-e-t-t-y p-e-r-s-o-n-a-l in little Mau's room between the doctor and Inette. She is now telling her all about Pau and her broken heart.
In M'nique's place, the kids, like all kids that age, are tired of being between the same four walls all the time and as restless as they are, ask to be taken to Turtle Beach.
Nooo! We will never go over there again!
-Why? We like it there!
-Because I heard that underwater currents are lethal and that's very dangerous!
-But we have always been there and never heard of such a thing, are you sure Dad didn't tell you to lie to us to make us not go over there and see Pau and Mau?
-No, and don't be disrespectful and trust me, I am your mother after all...
-Precisely...
In jail, Adrián is visited by Jaime and Pascual. This case is very complicated because of the evidence.
-I don't care anymore -says Adrián- I could stay here til I die and it will be the same for me. All my plans are gone. My love is gone.
Far from them, Juliette and Odette talk about Paulette and the way she handled things. Odette is concerned that Adrián one day finds out about this blackmail, but Juliette is more concerned in taking Adrián out. She even talks to "her father", an invisible being that appears to be seated right next to her. Ohh, spooky!
Leonel is making himself a sandwich when there's a knocking at the door.
Nuriette is ready for step number 2 in her plan and that is making Leonel make love to her. I hope he is not sterile because if he is and she doesn't know it, it will be impossible to pin the baby to him.
Leonel is surprised for this change in her mood, but she swears that she was fearing rejection and she had to drink a little to get courage and come offer herself to him.
Guess what? She was so inebriated that fell right to sleep. Leonel sighs disappointed, or is he?
I see two outcomes:
Leonel is sterile and nobody knows it so he is sure he can not be a father.
Leonel is gay (as someone speculated) and could led Nuriette to believe they "did it" when she wakes up, so when the baby arrives, he still knows he is not the father.
Ok, ok. We all know he is not the father...
Adrián is concerned what Darío might think of all this and asks Odette to tell her brother that this is just a misunderstanding and that he will be back to work soon.
-Don't worry -says Odette- I am not LIKE PAULETTE, and I will prove it, I understand everything and I would never betray you, LIKE PAULETTE did. You know, me being not LIKE PAULETTE and all... Did you get it?
And maybe we will never know how she did it, but Juliette is back with food (hopefully soup without carrots), a fleece blanket and some hygiene items for Adrián. After all, he needs to eat, clean himself and cover during those cold nights. She reassures him that she will make the impossible to take him out of there (even if that include sleeping with the whole precinct). LOL!
Meanwhile, Gonzalo is asking Silvestre to undo what he did and take Adrián from prison. Since taking him out is more difficult that putting him in, Gonzalo gives his hench 1,000 dollars, just to start. Making "the girl" withdraw her accusation shouldn't be hard, but the evidence... that's another thing. Well, bribe everybody you have to, but do it. Look for commander Cisneros, he loves money and he will surely help you out.
Both Raquette and Inette are on the phone wondering each about their own kid.
-Where could Camilo be this late?
-I dunno, and Paulette?
Well mothers... let me inform you that they were in fact together, talking about making things clear and right for everyone, specially Karette, who is the most distressed.
She just doesn't want to listen.
Karnette is flashbacking her own business when there's a knock at the door. Is Paulette who came to explain why she is still lying on top of the previous lies and the awful results. Karnette says she has fish ears and doesn't hear anything. Please, between Camilo and I there's nothing, is just like the first time we had to pretend to save my love for Adrián, please listen friend!
-You're not my friend, I don't even know why I open my boutique's doors to you in the first place, and forget about the business too, I don't want you as an associate. No more trust for you! Gimme my franchise back!
Simple minds think alike.
Camilo is also flashbacking his own business by the beach at night, and what he shows is something I don't remember seeing. Did he really was that lovey dovey with Paulette dancing and prancing in the water like they were actually lovers?
Looks like is flashback time for everyone in Dejalandia.
Adrián is also also flashbacking his own business thinking of when he was in love with Paulette and she was promising eternal and unconditional love.
And what about the promises of trust he told her he will hold?
Lies, all lies... al derecho y al revés.

Leon has made a few feminine gestures, so I believe he probably is gay. Since he has rejected Nuriettes advances he either cant perform or its his way of making her want him even more. Either way, he is not a good guy.
Why didnt Pau tell Adrian the real reason for her
Jilting him. I am mad she hurt him so badly. Poor Adrian.

This latest lie is probably the thing that has the biggest domino effect on the rest of the story. I don't think that Paulina and Adrian will be together and I think Odette is asking herself what she got into knowing that Julieta is so insane. It gives me the fidgets to watch her so I have to wonder whether Jaime has lost his mind after living with her for so long.
Nuria is getting payback now and considering how much she just drank I'm wondering whether she will end up with a baby who has foetal alcohol syndrome. Don't know and don't care whether Leonel is gay or straight; he's bad news either way.
At least Monica has come to her senses. And it looks like Ines can get that handsome doctor with the right encouragement. Just what Gonzalo deserves.

We all want that the characters we care about make the right decisions but this is a novela, so everybody has to do exactly the opposite.
Paulina and Adrián are both adults.
He has a job. She just finished school.
Both families don't approve their relationship. They don't need any approval.

I cannot get over of what Paulina did to Adrian. She decided to please her enemies at the expense of her and Adrian happiness. Trying to analyze the motives of her huge mistake I see these factors:
1. Time pressure – gives every other factor more weight.
2. Not smart/experienced to realize what a big mistake this decision was.
3. Lack of loyalty to Adrian – even contemplating this solution should not have been an option.
4. Bad advice (from Camilo) – is also on her for allowing the person interested in breaking up this wedding be close to her and listening to him.
Should Adrian ever forgive her? Cold reasoning says not.

Lacio, I totally agree with you and everyone else who can't get over what Paulina did to Adrian. I have noticed, at least for me, many of the recent novelas have done an excellent job of killing the love tie between the main couple. No, Adrian should never forgive Paulina and as crazy as she is, what Paulina did makes Julietta look like the voice of reason. The way Paulina ran with this news that rocked her world, not to man that she is supposed to love more than anything in the world but to her old boyfriend whom she knows wants her for himself and whom she knows her best friend, who arranged the whole danged wedding for her ass and stood by her when no one else was, that friend, Karen, is in love with! Yes, it's a run-on sentence! Ooooh! And then the nerve to run immediately to the jail after pissing on him in front of everybody!? It was so gratifying when Adrian yelled at her to get out!
So. Paulina is supposed to be so loyal to her family, this is why she did this? Yes, I can see she doesn't want to destroy the facade of the happy home her Mom and Dad have, especially now that they're trying to adopt Mau and give him the therapeutic services he needs but Lacio is right: "She decided to please her enemies at the expense of her and Adrian happiness." What a dolt!
Julietta's "principals" are clear: She will do ANYTHING to protect, defend and have Adrian near her. I'm sure she cut Jaime off a long time ago but readily "gives up a little leg" to get the documents that prove Gonzo's guilt in defrauding her dad and his other business partners. She didn't have to be this crazy to play this role but, hey, she IS crazy and so is Paulina!
I want to see Karen give Flavio a chance. Man is HOT in a non-threatening, "come hither, let me comfort you" kind of way. Yah. Nuff said. Also noted, like many of you, the sparks flying from Gastón to Inés! Gastón, being a Physician, also has a kind of nurturing hotness! Lawdy!
Finally, I can't imagine that Gonzo would have anyone as his lackey that he didn't thoroughly investigate, right down to sexual preferences. If it occured to Leon that Nuria could be his doorway into the Murat family and fortune Gonzo would have surely seen this as a possibility as well. We'll see how far Nuria gets with her pin the tail on the baby daddy scheme.

wow, what good looking galans we have with doctor and Flavio. Karen better off with Flavio who appears so smitten. Camillo loves Pau, Karen doesn't deserve to be second choice with him. She has been the best friend and loves her more than Nuria.

I have feeling that Inez will end up fine after her discovery of husbands infidelity and dark side. I don't forsee the same for Monica. I believe things will only get worse for her because Gonzalo doesn't really care for her.

That's for sure. WTH made Julieta the way she is? I know we've speculated on it but have the writers told us anything yet that I've missed?
I also wondered what or how I missed the reason yhat Julietta so obsessed with her brother. I know she raised him I am curious if she was like that even when Adrian was a child. Her conversations with her Dad are weird too.

She wasted so much time chit-chatting on the beach with Camilo, trying to devise a solution together for a problem that does not concern him in the first place. The one she should've been talking to was Adrián. Instead, she chose to play the martyr, as Leticia pointed out, and ruin Adrián's life, and her own, in the process.
As for Nuria's "pin the tail on the baby daddy scheme" (Good one, Lila!), her resorting to Leonel was predictable since the story of their "courtship" has been playing out over several episodes now. I still think he is not gay because on Thursday's episode he said that he had the hots for Paulina but since she's taken, he had to make do with Nuria.
I'm just as curious as Urban to get the backstory on Julieta's descent into madness. I know I (and many of us here) give her a lot of flak but in the end, she is a person who suffers serious mental health issues and who has been failed by her family (they should've sought professional help aaages ago!) as well as by her psychiatrist (who prescribed her a box of pills and told her to come back in a month!). The real evil heffer whose behavior is inexcusable and repulsive is Odious Odette! She sneakily pumped Adrián for information about his relationship (he's an idiot too for discussing private matters with a woman he barely knows and who flirts outrageously with him) then she manipulated his mentally-unstable sister into blackmailing Paulina. She and Nuria are the real villains of this story! Julieta is just a poor nutcase that the actress's portrayal turned into a caricature!

I didn't see that part where Leo said he had hots for Pau, so he went after Nuria instead. Nope that doesn't sound gay at all, my bad. Thanks Nandicta for clarifying. I guess he is playing hard to get cause he knows Nuria can probably get any man (obviously not Adrian) so he is making her want him badly by
teasing her and playing her along.
You are also right Nandicta about the two vile women, Nuria and Odette. Even Julieta's meaness is the product of her serious mental issues.
