A Que No Me Dejas - Thursday 10/27/16 #34 Keep your friends close but your enemies even closer!
Al punches Gonzo
several times while in the office Leo
finds out that certain files for the south hotels are being given to Camilo to
handle which displeases Leo. He
expresses his displeasure to the secretary who says it's not my idea, so take
it to the boss. Right then an employee
comes into to tell Leo that Al is kicking the Gonz's ass right outside.
Back outside, Camilo
having watched his papa deliver twenty or so blows by now, pulls him off
Gonz. Al tells Camilo to let him go,
he's not done and wants to finish ripping off the face of the damn traitor! Gonz asks how Al could have done that? Have
you lost your mind? Al wants to know how
Gonz could have betrayed him after Al has called him his friend and compadre! He thought they were friends! Gonz has no idea what Al is accusing him
of. Oh no? I’m talking about you telling Ines that
Monica was my lover and not yours. You
did that without thinking that Ines could have told my wife and blown up my
marriage. You blamed me you coward, but
it came to light and now I’m never going to forgive you for this, never! Gonz says they are two civilized men and
they can discuss this in private where he doesn't have to be humiliated by the
ass kicking in front of his employees.
Al isn't having it, they've got nothing to discuss and especially not
when his son was made to think it was him (Al) who was having the affair with
Monica. Al says he wasn't the one who
betrayed the friendship or broke the confidence, he was faithful but in
exchange all he got was a kick in the teeth so you could save your image. Gonz says it's not like that and if Al would
listen he would understand. Al says the
advantage of knowing Gonz so well is that he knows for certain he can't trust a
word that comes out of his mouth and so now they're done. Gonz can deal with
his miserable conscience! Gonz begs Al
as he leaves but it's no use. Gonz sends
a few employees after Al, while he tells the rest of the onlookers not to
repeat a word of what they just witnessed and the first person he finds out is
gossiping, will be FIRED! Now get back to work, nothing to see here folks!
(except my beaten ass) Leo suck up that
he is asks if Gonz needs a nurse? Or do you want to see about us taking
reprisals against Al? No! That man is
like my brother he says and storms off.
Wow what a fight the bosses had! Leo says yeah, and it's going to work
to my advantage. How? Leo says because now with the boss on the
outs with his bestie, who better than me to now be his right hand man.
Gonz is back in his hotel room, he makes a drink and puts some ice on his busted mug, but then remembers the fight. It's all falling apart, with his wife and now his buddy. He throws the drink in frustration! Back at the Fonseca house, Al comes in looking pretty good with just a cut lip. Still Raq notices and asks whats up? Cami tells her that he got into a fight with Gonz. Al still fuming and ready for the bell to ring so he can go back in for round two, tells Raq that Gonzo betrayed him to save his own hide and told Ines that Monica was his lover! If I was Gonzo, I'd be more afraid of the Raq! She looks like she could clean his clock pretty good.
Back at the Murat's
it's dinner and Ines has been sleeping. Pau, Mica and Chelo all think it's best
to let her keep sleeping all into the next morning. It's what will help her recuperate faster. Little Mau is tired too and Chelo takes him
up for an early bed. Mica asks Pau if
she's heard from Alfonso. Pau says no and she's worried that it means the news
he does bring won't be positive. Pau
thanks Mica for the delicious meal as she walks away, Mica notices that there
is blood on Pau's backside. Uh oh!
Meanwhile Adrian is thinking of Pau, he wonders if they'd discovered the
truth earlier about his father if it would have changed things and they would
be together right now. But no, he knows
he has to stop thinking that way, that
isn't what broke them up. It was her betrayal and his inability to be enough
for her. Our love wasn't enough. Umm how
about you have a crazy biatch sister, you never would control and you are a dud
Adrian Pau was wrong for not telling you about the baby but for me, you are a
whiny dud of a man who has crazy women all around you. You and your unibrow
need to stay in your lane dude.
Pau, who has the
sense of a squeezed lemon, is on the
phone ringing Karen, who doesn't answer (#DieFlavio) and there's no answer. As
she bleeds, she then dials Camilo. Umm
here's a clue to catch Pau, maybe call the doctor first? Or get in the car and
drive YOUR own hiney to the hospital.
Rap-rap-rap-rap-rap!
Gonz opens the door. Papa! What do you want? You can tells that Nuria is a breath of
fresh air where ever she goes. You got
into a fight with Alfonso? Gonz puts a
hand on that empty chest of hers and pushes her back out the door. I'm not in
the mood to give explanations. Ok, but
let me take care of you! Just then a
waiter comes up with the ice and medical supplies, Gonz ordered. I don't want to see anyone, you understand
me right? Gonzo shuts the door on
Nuria's face. More booze, more ice and a
phone call. Bueno? Mica pass the phone to the Mrs. Well she's sleeping. Well wake her up. Umm that's not happening because she took the
meds the doctor gave her and one was to sleep through your phone blowing up
nonsense. Gonzo, hangs up on her. Busted up and rude! He assumes it was Ines who told Al about the
lie. Nope, you lost your wifey and double lifey.
Meanwhile his
trifling Whoremonica sits at the table enjoying a meal with her boys who gush
about how much fun they had with Gonz at the water park. They hope now their father is going to come
and live with them. Monica says
hopefully that will happen and when it does she knows there will be many more
fun moments like what they just had with their father. The boys are excited! Allen suggests their father go with them to
Orlando and Rene thinks that would be awesome!
Monica clearly doubts that she's even going to see Gonz, now that his
world with Ines is falling apart. You've
heard that saying Mo-ni-ca! You can't turn a ho into a housewife. You were a ride like at that waterpark, but
the tickets ran out. *circle-snap*
Speaking of awful
rides, Karens head is spinning and she awakens to feel creepy Flavio next to
her. She tells him her head is aching
and Oh he's all sorts of happy, but he's got the cure a little tablet in some
water will fix up all that alcohol consumption.
Karen was wonderful and gave him the most marvelous night. Uh, yeah but I wasn't expecting us to end up
here she says clearly regretting it and maybe not even remembering it.
Hmmm. Oh well me neither, but I'm so
happy you're at least giving me a chance.
The bubbly water isn't setting well with her and she begs the octopus
off of her to fetch her some plain water.
Once he's gone, she is beside herself.
What did you do? Karen Rangel, what did you do? I'm pretty sure the patio knows and it's not
on you Karen.
Pau and Karen are at
the clinic to see Dr. Aguirre, but she's with another consult. Camilo urges the receptionist to make it
happen, Pau is pregnant and needs to see
the doc STAT! Odio-ette is sitting on
the couch behind a magazine and hears everything. She puts two and two together
that the baby was the reason Pau was looking for Adrian. The receptionist takes Pau back and
Odio-ette takes the opportunity to fish for details. Your poor wife. She's not my wife. Oh well
the mother of your baby. It's not my
baby. Oh ok well then the baby of your
friend, or whatever she is to you. Hopefully she doesn't lose it. I'm sorry but
I overheard she was bleeding. Yes, yes
hopefully everything is okay with the baby.
The Raq tends to her
mans injuries. I guess now this means
you'll be done working with Gonzo once and for all? Al isn't in the mood for the pressure. He tells Raq it's not going to be that easy
but what he's going to do first before handling the business side, is terminate
his friendship with Gonz. Anyone that
puts his family at risk, won't be in Al's life.
Raq says that they agree on that.
Al says the world Gonzo built on lies and deceits is falling apart and
he's losing the most valuable things, Ines, Paulina and us!
Flavio comes back to
find Karen dressed. She wants to go home but he urges her to stay, it's
late. She insists, her head hurts she
drank too much and she just wants to go home.
Flavio says he'll make her a loaded coffee and some chilaquilles that
will help, but she says she wants to go home and would like him to take
her. He reluctantly agrees. It's clear this didn't go the way he planned.
The receptionist
comes out to find a nervous Camilo. How
is she? The doctor is with her and they
are doing an ultrasound but there's no news yet. Odio-ette wants to make sure her trifling
behind is seen. The receptionist tells
her there's an emergency ahead of her and she can wait or come back tomorrow. Nope, that won't work for me. I'm going on vacation with my boyfriend
tomorrow and I need the doc to give me the birth control pills. The receptionist who didn't need to know all
that nonsense says ok, got it. She asks
to use the bathroom, but instead sneaks over to see what's going on with
Pau. She overhears the doc telling Pau
her baby is fine and the blood was just residue being expulsed from her
body. They also see the baby's
heart. Doc Aguirre says she can assure
the father that the baby is fine. Pau
says she's a single mother, but she's happy that her baby is fine! Odio is not happy, she was hoping Pau would
have lost the baby. Well choke on it Odio,
Pau is having Adrian's baby!
Mica and Ines
discuss her sleeping and appetite..blah blah blah. Mica says Gonzo called but hung up on her so
no clue what he wanted. Nuria comes
busting in almost running Mica down. She tells Ines about the fight between
Gonzo and Al due to the Monica lie. She
leaves and tells her mother to be on the alert for Leo, she won't be long. Mica says she knows how Al found out, it was
the tres chismosos
Pau gives Cami the
good news and then the receptionist tells Odio she can go back now. Pau sees her and they exchange hello's. Pau now knows that Odio heard everything. She
tells Cami who Odio is and Cami confirms that she knows the baby must be
Adrians, because she was asking Cami question and he told her he wasn’t the
father. Pau wonders if she'll go and
tell Adrian. Cami doubts it because Odio
said she was leaving tomorrow to Spain with her boyfriend. A crushed Pau figures it must be Adrian,
which means she won't tell him. Cami
says the important thing is the baby is fine.
Doc Aguirre tells
Odio she'll get her Rx for the pills and excuses herself while Odio makes a
call to the airlines to see about exchanging her flight back to Madrid for
another day. No can do give us 24 hours
notice, or you lose it with no refunds.
Odio isn't happy! It's too risky to leave Adrian there without her. He
might cross paths with her and find out he's going to be a papi!
Al comes into Cami's
room. He tells him that he knows about Pau's baby, because when she called he
picked up the phone at the same time. Is it okay? Did she lose it? Cami says no, everything is ok. Al says he understand everything now, the
proposal of marriage. What he wants to
know is if his son is prepared to marry a woman who is in love with another man
and is carrying that man's baby?
Odio has the nerve
to show up at Pau's house. We need to
talk about that baby you're carrying.
Why what business is it of yours?
I want to know if you're going to tell him. What I do or don't do is none of your
business. Oh yes it does because I’m
with Adrian now. That's why you were
looking for him, because you were going to tell him. Yup, but guess what? I'm not now and not
because of your trifling behind or Adrian, but because I don't want that whiny
vaginy and his unibrow to reject me or my baby, because it's my baby! Odio has
no idea what to say, she's got the green light. Ok, so you want to stay there on my
porch? Umm no, I’m going now. Good.. girl bye!
Cami says yes, he
loves Pau. Al says well fortunately Pau
was sensible enough to reject his proposal even if it meant she would have a
father for her baby. Cami says yes, but
he's not giving up. Al says maybe he'll
wear her down but he will always love Pau more than she loves him. Cam says no he will get Pau to love him again
the same way he loves her and when that happens, then they will discuss
marriage. Al says ok so that happens and
then what, is she going to hide from
Adrian his own child? Cami will not change that the baby is not his. Cami doesn't have the answers or even how Pau
would want to handle it. Well how would you want to handle it?
Karen can't believe
that Odio had the audacity to show up at Pau's to ask about the baby. Pau says
she did because this threatens her future with Adrian. Karen says so she's not going to tell Adrian?
Pau says nope. Karen says if that's how Pau wants it, then that means she'll
have to bury all those dreams she once had about Adrian. She has to forget about his love, the
memories. Pau says she's trying but it's hard to get over a love so grand.
Al advises his son
to ask himself if he can be responsible for the child of a man that Adrian
loved so much and who's ghost will always be there between the two of them
(Cami/Pau). Cami thanks his Dad for his
advice and for worrying so much about his well being. Cami knows he will have a tough road ahead with Pau and
her feelings for Adrian. He also knows
that with Pau it's a package, her and her baby and unless he can accept them
together there is no future with her. Al
understands. All he wants is for his generous son, to not only think about Pau,
but to think of himself first. It could
be that he will be sacrificing himself to something (marriage/life) that will
never be reciprocated the way he wants.
He will never discuss this with Cami again unless he wants, all he asks
is that his son put himself first and think about it. Al is a great father. I don't know how he was ever friends with
Gonz.
Jaime and Adrian see
Odio off at the airport. Before she
boards she has the audacity to ask Adrian to promise her he will not see Pau or
let her near him. Jaime is all sorts of
really biatch? Adrian says girl, I'm not
promising you anything and you need to stop bringing it up. She boards and Jaime says nobody take a
single step while barefooted or some thing to that affect. I take it as in she doesn't do something
without there being something in it for her. Or she doesn't do something without making sure all her bases are covered. Someone on the patio may have a better
reference or translation.
Back at Pau's, Karen dishes on her night with Flavio. Pau is
shocked, wow that was fast! Karen says well I realized that my dreams of Cami,
was a romantic movie I had made up in my head. She wanted someone in her life,
but it wasn't Cami and she's put him out of her heart for good. Pau is happy because she didn't want it
coming between them and as Sabino says there's no worse nostalgia than longing
for something that never ever happened.
Karen says that’s why things with Flavio are different, because he does
care about her and she feels good with him.
Pau wonders why then Karen regrets sleeping with him. Karen says because of the way it
happened, she was drunk and unaware. She
thinks something that serious should be done much more conscientiously. Pau is
struck by Flavio's lack of concern. So
if Flavio knew Karen was drunk then he should have take care of her but instead
it seems he took advantage of her! Karen
gets a bit defensive and says no, she has to take responsibility for her own
actions. She's not a child. Pau tells
her friend to just be careful. Karen
says not to worry, she's aware of things now. This chick is walking target. All she needs is an S for sucker on her forehead.
Gonz comes to see Al
and Al kicks him verbally to the curb.
What you did can't be undone and all we are is associates, nothing
more. Gonz says is this your final word? Yup! It's on now. Cue the battle music.
Ines and Raq discuss
and clear the air about the lie Gonzo told about Monica and Al. Raq says she wished she'd known but it was
probably best she would have tossed Al out for a lie that Gonz made up. Ines
says yes, she wanted to tell her but she had to negotiate and cover up the lie
for Pau's happiness so that Julieta wouldn't have been put in jail when Pau and
Adrian were going to marry. Raq says a convenient negotiation for Gonz. Ines
says yes.
Gonz delivers the
news to Nuria and Leo that business will be different now. Al is only his
associate now and so Leo needs to be at the same level as Cami. Because for
sure he will be looking out for his father's interests and Gonz needs Leo to do
the same with guts, power and all the forces of a man. Leo says consider it done! Gonz warns Leo that if he blows this
opportunity, he will throw him out and forgotten , even if he's his daughters
husband. Leo says, no worries he will guard those interests as if they were his
own.
Ines begs Raq's
forgiveness. Raq understand and Ines
says good because I also fired Al as the one to handle Mau's adoption. I
thought he was a cheater and I didn't want him near me, I was rude to him. Raq says don't worry girl, I was rude to your
man too and threw him off my porch. Ines
says that's good. Raq says we're good. I got your back, you got mine and lets put
all this nonsense behind us and be besties like before. Thelma and Louise hug it out!
Beto is looking for
a job in the paper. He tells Chelo in order for them to date, he has to work
elsewhere. She's sad but he tells her
it's what he needs to do because she is the most important thing to him and he
wants her to be his girlfriend. She
beams at his sweet proclamation.
Gaston in all of his
fineness comes to see Ines and brings her a book. Pau announces that Mau has nicknames for
everyone in the house and he signs them to her.
Nuria's is a scary aggressive one.
Gaston says it's sad but that is what Mau perceives. Ines hopes one day
she will be able to change it. Ines says
she has one for Mau and she signs out Sol/Sun and then showers him with
kisses. That child is too cute!
Gonz instructs Leo
that he is to report every movement of Al's and Camilos to him…down to the
smallest detail. Leo says understood and
he wants to make it official. Gonz says
okay. Nuria wants to know what she can do and Gonz says for now, take care
of what's happening at the house. Nuria
was thinking more with the business and Gonz says he'll look for an opportunity
for her but for now do what he's asked.
Mau is happy and
signs it to Ines. Beto comes in and
announces that Iliana Zaldivar is here to see her regarding the adoption of
Mau. She announces to Ines that she's
here to take Mau to a home (foster home?).
Cara impactada for everyone!
Julieta is released
from the hospital and Jaime and Adrian are there to greet her. Jaime has brought the same flower and
chocolates as their first date. Aww!
Julieta doesn't remember but she thanks him. The doc remind Julieta that she has to take
her meds everyday without fail and she'll see her in one month. Call if she needs anything. Julieta doubts she'll need to. They thank the doctor who has changed their
lives. All three leave, and we wonder
how long Julieta will relapse to Loonieta.
I smell Odioette all over this one and the pill bottle.
Ines and Pau beg Ms.
Zaldivar to not take Mau. He can't go to
a home! They assure her there is no better home for Mau than this one. Ms. Z says they can't stop it, and she has proof
that this is the best home for Mau.
Gaston says he wants to see the proof.
He looks at the file as Ms Z tells Ines she's just learned Gonzo doesn't
live there anymore, they're separated and about to divorce. Ines says all couples go through crisis. Ms Z says, Gonzo has two children with
another woman outside of marriage and that is not a crisis..it's straight up
adultery! Bam! Mau can not stay here in
those conditions. Gastons says he's
Mau's therapist and he can vouch that Mau gets the best of everything in that
house, schooling and therapy. Ms. Z says
she's sorry but the adoption can be to Ines but to a couple and she has to take
Mau. Poor Mau is holding on for dear
life and Ms Z, says to hand him over and not to make her do it by force. The staff comes running and Chelo begs them
to say it isn't true. They aren't taking
her little child!
Cami asks his father
if he's prepared for what this means between him and Gonzo. Al says yes, Gonzo
will see him as an enemy now. It's black
or white with Gonzo. You're either with him or against him. Cami says they have the advantage, they
(Cami/Al) are together in this. While
Gonzo has Nuria and Leo who are both useless (Nuria) and a traitor (Leo).
Ines begs Gaston to
do something but he says there is nothing he can do. He offers to go with the child, but Ms Z says
he can't. He reminds her he is the
therapist for Mau and is responsible for his health and well being. He also reminds her that they are dealing
with a child who is deaf and can not communicate. He will be there to intercede
for Mau. Pau says she's going with
Gaston. Ines says she's going to but Gaston says no it's
counterproductive. Pau instructs Chelo
to stay with her mother. Ms. Z relents
and says they can come but not in the same car. Mau cries his little heart out and Ines
tells Ms Z this is an injustice. But Ms
Z says It's justice in order to protect the child. Mau's perception without words is that his
little happy world is being ripped from him by strangers. Pau promises that he
will come back to this house. The child
is handed over to the strangers he doesn't know. Pau instructs Chelo to call Raq to come be
with her mother. She will call as soon
as she knows something. Ines is
shattered.

So sorry this was late Patio but I hope you enjoy it. I really don't know how to root for Adrian and Pau. I want to, but instead I find them both incredibly stupid. I know Pau has done some seriously stupid things, but for me as a galan, Adrian is just a huge fail. He has not put much of the fight expected in a tn. He's content to be manipulated and bullied by the crazies in his life. He does little more than scrunch up his unibrow and allow others to think for him. I just can't with his lack luster love. I really find Camilo the guy who is fighting tooth and nail for Pau. He has the advantage of course of knowing the truth but Adrian doesn't do much in the way of trying to find out anything.
I find myself really intrigued with Gaston and Ines. For me that is the couple that sparkles and has the potential to make me swoon.
I do love seeing Monica get her face cracked and dumped by Gonz. She deserves the tire tracks all over her back.

Fabulous job, Delilah! It was such a joy to witness Al beat the Gonz to a pulp. Two breakups for Gonz-- first his wife and now his BFF. He didn't deserve either of them in the first place.
I really wished Pau had come right out and told Karen that it sounded like RAPE to her. But like a lot of women, Karen didn't even realize it and was blaming herself for drinking too much. She's ignoring all the red flags, and her own feelings of discomfort. I'm afraid this Flavio situation is going to get very dark-- this is just the start of his abuse and creepiness.
Great talk between Al and Camilo. But like you, I respect Camilo's fighting spirit way more that Adrian's whining and easily giving up.

Absolutely fab, Delilah: love your style: spicy, hilarious, conversational. I feel like you were right here with me giving me the low down (and I do mean low down!) on these crazy folks. Delilah, I agree whole heartedly with you about Adrian and Pau. For me lately the main couples love is stamped out like roaches on a RAID! commercial. I don't see anything those two can do to get me interested in their "love" again.
BUT, as you say, Gaston and Ines. Wow! He's smokin' hot, he's a gentleman, a caring professional, proactive and protective. Yah, that's the couple to watch.

I have such a crush on Gaston, and I'm totally shipping him and Ines right now. I have to admit that as bad as I felt for Mau, I was kind of happy that the plan for Ines and Gonzo to pretend to be happily married fell apart. Now, she can truly move on-- to Gaston! Of course this just means that Pau and Camilo will likely get married to be able to adopt Mau, and I'm ok with that too, because I really don't care about her and Adrian as a couple anymore. But I DO think Adrian should be told about his child. I hate that Pau thinks it's ok to not tell him he has a kid.
I agree with you Vivi I want Ines free from Gonzo so she can get her groove back with Gaston, he compliments her elegance and glamour so beautifully. Sigh what a dream boat he is.
I agree that Pau needs to let Adrian know about the child but as long as he's in the midst of Julieta and Odio-ette I would fear for the baby. I really think Adrian is a very immature man who doesn't think for himself. He is led by what others tell him and that isn't good. Until he stiffens up his spine and starts to figure out life for himself and be a real man who forges his own way, and finds out things on his own instead of whispers, rumors and innuendoe he will be no good to anyone. I really wish Karen wasn't so needy for a man. I get she's lonely and wants to be in love but if she thinks Flavio is it, she's really dumb. This guy is going to isolate her and be completely obsessive and controlling. I see him being abusive if she tries to get rid of him. It's really getting dark.
I agree that Pau needs to let Adrian know about the child but as long as he's in the midst of Julieta and Odio-ette I would fear for the baby. I really think Adrian is a very immature man who doesn't think for himself. He is led by what others tell him and that isn't good. Until he stiffens up his spine and starts to figure out life for himself and be a real man who forges his own way, and finds out things on his own instead of whispers, rumors and innuendoe he will be no good to anyone.
