Tres Veces Ana 101:An E-Merging Marcelo, A Tough-Talking Triplet, A Mollified Mariano, A Vanquished Violentin, And An Un-Death-defying Maribel Drop’nStop

Parte 1~~

Ana Lucia runs to Marcelo’s aid as Javier runs up and freeze-frames himself.  She shoos him to finally get an ambulance.  Santiago is the one who returns to consciousness long enough to tell Ana Lucha that only he loves her and not mountebank Marcelo.

Iñaki bumps into Claudia and cleavage.  Claw drops her purse which spills its contents over the sidewalk.  Yaki has presence of mind enough to palm the car key and races away after supposedly helping her put the contents back in the purse, excusing himself and returning it to her.

At the cabin, Valentin rides Ana Laura for coming to the cabin rather than staying to watch her new-found triplet sister perform.  That’s because Ramiro is the love of her life, natch.  She remarks that he is walking.  He ignores her.

Ram begs TinTin not to harm Ana Llora.  He says the door is open, but nobody in Viewerville believes for an instant he’d let her go.  It’s cat and mouse time, and I gotta say that it appears Ram and A Llora have switched personalities at this point since he’s acting more of a mouse right now.

Back at the performance in the dressing rooms, Remedios says she’s already called Cuervos to come in the taxi cuz it’s 10 times quicker getting there than the ambulance will be.  (I certainly hope they had sense enough to cancel the ambulance.  I sure would hate to be the injured party they ignored to race over to pick up monied Marcelo’s sorry self.)  Ana Lucha and Rem futz around with the alchohol which does nothing to revive Marcelo.  Maribel offers to replace A Lucha but Walter refuses.  Ruh-Roh!!

At the cabin, Violentintin takes his wheelchair out and forces A Llora to sit in it then demands at gunpoint that she remove her prosthesis.  He throws it on the other side of the room.  They argue about who got her there.  Ana Leticia gave her the message that Ramiro was there, so she knows Ana Llora is there.  They’ll be coming for her soon enough.  He laughs and sneers.   Why it was TinTin who had A MiMI tell A Llora to come!  "--She sent you right into the lion’s den. [jaula=cage, jail]"

Meanwhile, Maribel finally gets her big break to replace Ana Lucia in the program and look what befalls her—if you’ll pardon the pun.  The cloth ropes tear through and Bel takes a swan dive to her death.   Ernie and familia are horrified to think it’s Ana Lucia who took the hapless header from the heights.  “--Ah, no!!! It’s Maribel!!!  Is she dead????”  (If she ain’t she might as well be!)  Ernie, Mo and Leo let out their breath and give a simultaneous sigh in relief.  Ana Leticia is elated, then as she realizes it isn’t Ana Lucia, her gleeful smile morphs into a snarl.

Rem and Ana Lucia are now at the hospital while SantiMarco is being operated on.

At the cabin again, TinTin whines at A Llora that she had her chance to love him and to be proud of him but she never gave him a chance.  Instead she treated him just the same as Gina.  She threw him over for another man—actually, the same man, which was even worse!!  She defends her love for Ram as the reason: he has a heart of gold, is noble and kind and loving.  Tintin, on the other hand, is full of bitterness and hate, his heart is rotted away from it--not to mention he’s also the one who killed Gina in cold blood.  "--Mariano knows it too, so go ahead and shoot but it won’t gain you a thing."  Ok.  So then he’s going to force her to write a suicide note in her final hours, just the same way Marcelo and Mo did with Gina.  (No, they won’t fall for that a second time; they know the suicide was really murder and who done it.  Please, Telenovela gods, you really need to think of something else…..)  She refuses till he fires a threatening shot at Ramiro.

During the operation, Marcelo is playing a virtual reality shoot’em up game in his subconscious.  The hostage he eventually rescues is none other than his alter ego, Santi.  They draw pistols on each other arguing about who should survive and why.  Finally Marcelo explains why they need to converge into one Mar-iago .    Seems Santi was the good kid that Facundo forced into hiding so Marcelito could thrive in daddy,  Fecalmundo’s, world.  He hands over his gun, obviously banking on Santi’s virtuous self not to shoot the shinola outta him.  Marcelo needs Santi to mellow his mean side.  Marcelo is dead on the table for a minute or so during this Mexican standoff/debate.

At the same time in the waiting room, Rem discusses this theory with Ana Lucia. Santiago put off the operation because he feared he would die in the end.  Ana Lu agrees that one of them would have to die in the end.  Rem cries over this.

TinTin dictates that “ ‘I cannot deal with this shame.  I discovered all his filthy secrets; and the only one responsible for me being at the point doing this is my Uncle Mariano.' "  She refuses to add this and argues again with him.  "--Go ahead and shoot if you want but I’m not going to destroy my family this way."   Ram is disturbingly wimpy here.  TinTin is worse.  “—Don’t make me pull this trigger!”  She puts her remaining foot down and refuses.  (Just shoot her already!)  Hey, says TinTin, I am the one with the gun here.  Do it, pretty please my pretty one???  I have your life in my hands.”  A Llora throws the letter onto the floor.

Back at the interrupted performance, A MiMi, wearing some beigey bosom bandaging Bond number,  gets a phone call from Yaki.  He tells her what happened and how frightened he is.  She eventually sweet talks him into telling her where he is hiding out.  “--Oh yes, I’ll be right there for you in an hour or so.  We’re together in this thing and I won’t leave you out in the cold.  Trust me, lover.”  She hangs up and shakes her head in total disgust.  (Just another loser like his brother—and with such high hopes!)

At the cabin, Ram convinces A Llora not to write the stupid letter.  They love each other and they won’t be a part of his even stupider plan for vengeance.  “—He’s going to kill us both in the end anyway, so why give him the pleasure.”  The two of them begin melting the screen with their over the top declarations of love till I am as fed up as TinTin with it all.  “—you’re driving me crazy with this cheesy, cornball love talk!”  (Cornball doesn't even begin to cover it. Viewerville starts cursing the director and his C team of writers who apparently were filling in while the A team went out for lunch and a couple of tokes.)  TinTin comes back and ties Ana Llora’s wrists to the chair.

Now A MiMi (with her essentials dangerously low in the saddle) and Mo arrive in the waiting area.  Ana Lucha demands that Mo remove Ana Letmeeeeee from the room.  No way does she get to be there!!  Why?  Because Marcelo told her that it was A MiMi who’d planned and paid to have Marcelo murdered three plus years ago.  I don’t want her near him!!  A MiMi demands that Mo put her high-handed sister in her place.  She’s sick and tired of the way her sister is taking advantage of her going missing for twenty years to evoke pity in everyone around her.  How dare she talk to her that way!!  “--Don’t forget I am the woman who is married to the man in the operating room!; so it’s meeeeeee who’s got more right to be here and not you!”

Ana Lucha starts yelling—loud and long.  “--Leave! Get the hell out!  And you’d better not challenge me because I will not allow you to do anymore harm to him!  You told me the whole time that I was a cat who couldn’t talk.  Well I DO KNOW HOW TO YELL!!!!!”  A MiMi feigns being insulted.  A Lucha doesn’t stop at that. "--It was you who are to blame for Marcelo’s accident!!  It is your fault he lost his memory!!"  “—I explained that--!!”  “—Liar!! Everything that comes out of your mouth is a lie!!”  “—You are loco!”  “—The only crazy one here is you who ordered your husband to be killed—the man you so heartily swore you loved!  And it’s because of you that the man I love is now battling between life and death!!!  So I don’t want you anywhere near him!  L.E.A.V.E.!!!!!”

end parte 1~~

========================================
Parte 2~~

Ernie makes a visit to the jail to speak her mind to Soledad.  Ernie believes Sole did it to get even with her father for raping her mother.  Sole cops to being selfish because she had no idea about their real relationship.  She’s sorry for all the angst she caused.  She asks for forgiveness.  (Yawn. FF>>>)

Back at the hospital, Ana Lucha isn’t finished.  Ana MiMi isn’t either.  MiMi swears A Lucha is lying.  A Lu spits back the facts:  years ago Ana Leticia hired Evaristo to murder Marcelo.  Ana MiMi begs Mo to believe her instead, that her sister is lying about this to justify burning the sheets with her husband.   Both Santi and Marco have told her this and she believes them so that’s the reason she doesn’t want Ana Leticia there. So leave right now!  Ana Letmeeeee calls Ana Lucia the interloper here.  She should never have re-entered their lives.  Unky Mo finally calls a halt to the argument and drags A MiMi off for a very serious talk outside.  MiMi leaves with him but is upset that he won’t give her the respect she deserves as Marcelo’s wife [dar alguien su lugar=show respect for one’s status/position]  She turns back and yells back that Ana Lucia can have whatever remains of her husband and she hopes he dies on the table for all the grief he’s caused her.

Marcelo and Santi blend and eventually Marcelo revives.  (Tough tootsies, toots!)

Ana MiMi tells Mo she’s never going to forgive him for doing this to her.  First her sister takes Marcelo from her, then Mo’s love for her.  How could he side with Ana Lucia?????  He sits her down and tries to talk sense into her but she’s telling him he’s the crazy one.  He tries telling her it’s her sister so act civil.  “—She’s still a stranger and was raised far from us with different upbringing and a different set of standards.  You, who I’ve given love to and stood up for you you never stand up for me!!”  Mo gets fed up and tells her he doesn’t have the time for her lunacy.  She grabs his phone from him and demands to know who he’s calling. (Damn! Slap the impertinent bitch already!)

Mo tells MiMI that A Llora and TinTin are missing and he needs to see if Leonora and Nerina knows where she and Valentin are, if they might be together or not.  That is what is more important to him right now than her tantrums.   Ana MiMi sneers that if Violentin does something to her sister then it will be Unky Mo’s fault.  “—Now I have nothing on my conscience but you do!  You are guilty for causing Gina Ramirez’s death!” “—Now don’t get me angry [sacar de mis casillas= make one lose his cool/drive one to extremes].”  Oh right!  Ana Laura is missing and she is the one that matters.  Where could she be?  Well maybe his sister knows!”  “—Who?  I didn’t know he had a sister!”  “—How not when you’ve been sleeping with her all these years??? It’s Claudia Rivas!!”

Across the way in Mid Town, Facundo arrives and forces his way into Yaki’s room with a gun in hand.  Oh, yeah.  "--BTW, Ana Leticia advised me of your whereabouts and asked me to take charge of you."  Yaki cannot believe his beloved has so vilely betrayed him.  [Not so, Grasshopper.]  "--You don’t know your lover like I do.  She’s capable of just about anything to protect herself and here’s the proof.  Your confession about killing Daniel Escarcega.  Your brother, right?  Of course this is not the original.  It’s a copy.  You hand me over her confession  —the only way you’re going to get another chance.”

Yaki asks how can he be certain he’ll get out of there alive.  Doesn’t matter, says Fecalmundo, aka, Fubar.  Yaki is for all intents and purposes a dead man walking.  Suddenly, Yaki surprises Fubar with a Judo kick to the chest and another to the head.  (Where’d he learn that, writers?)   Yaki is just as curious as we are about his good fortune and well placed moves.  (And it was very worth the waiting for, if I do say so myself--and I do.)  He crawls out the window, onto the ledge, and eventually finds another open window to enter.  The robed guests there let him pass as they cower in the corner of their bed.  He makes it down to the first floor and saunters up the sidewalk.

Meanwhile, back in the woods, TinTin is absent from the cabin long enough for Ram to inform A Llora that the anesthesia is wearing off.  Ana Llora has stopped weeping long enough to realize she can start untying the ropes binding their wrists—but not, of course, before apologizing for being the blind ditz that caused all this mess.  (Personally, I'd have dumped her ages ago.)  He of course forgives her.  She's the love of his life!  (Who are we kidding here?  He has to forgive her or otherwise he'd never get free of those damned ropes!)

Mariano and MiMi are now at Claw’s.  He accuses her and Valentin of both playing him for a fool and of being TinTin’s accomplice in all of his threats.  He accuses Claw of lying and says if it weren’t for Ana Leticia he’d have never known something was up and that Claw might know something.  Nerina has had enough and she lets Mariano have it with both barrels.  (Good, ‘cause somebody legit and not intimately involved with him really needs to about now.)  “—She loves you deeply the same as Valentin loves Ana Laura!!  My son wouldn’t be capable of harming her!!  (Well, I wouldn’t go that far…..)  Mo says PAH-Leeze!!  You haven’t got a clue!  He’s using my niece to get back at me!  Not too long a while ago he was drunk and came to my office waiving around a gun!”

Claw says Mo’s right.  Valentin’s a drunk and he gets really violent.  That’s why she kept her distance from him all this time.  Nerina disagrees.  Claw says it’s true and she’s ashamed of him and that’s why she wouldn’t tell Mo.  She was too afraid of losing him and she just loved him too much to lose him.  He says she’s just obsessed with him.  No she only wanted to help him.  Claw then reminds him that she was the one who helped him by telling him where Ana Lucia was, remember? (Bad move, dearie.)   A MiMi gets a murderous look in her eyes.

Claw says she’d like to help him now but isn’t sure how.  A MiMi snidely remarks thanks but no thanks.  She’s not exactly trustworthy.  The gauntlet is thrown.  Claw replies, “—I would look at the cabin Marcelo’s dad lent out to him.”  Ana MiMi pretends she had no idea of the place.  Claw says, oh yes she does.  Her brother told her he saw her there a few days back.

Leonora knows the place and says she’ll take them there.  Leo, Mo and Nerina head out.  Ana MiMi is not allowed to come.  She and Catty Claws stay behind.

Rodrigo and Ernestina arrive at the waiting room and give hugs to Rem and Ana Lucha.  The doctor eventually comes out of the operating room to tell them all the good news.

Ana Letmeeeee and Claw start a hissing contest about who’s better at cat fighting for territory.  Claw brags that she managed to destroy Mo’s faith in Ana MiMi for good.  She warned A MiMi she’d not be easy competition for her.  A MiMi responds with a well placed throw of her red wine on Claws white dress of false purity.  “—It’s your fault my uncle is angry with me!!”  No matter, she adds, cuz he’ll forgive and forget.  I’m his favorite one.  I’m his pet.  However, you’ve lost him for good!  “—Don’t you ever get tired of chasing off all the woman close to him?”
“—No, just cats like you.”

Claw starts playing with Ana Leticia and goading her by reminding her of all the sensual nights she spent having wonderful, fulfilling SEX with him.  Claw practically relives all of it, whispering every sensual moment of their time in bed together till A MiMi loses it completely and pulls a knife from her purse.  She whirls around and, taking Claudia by surprise, begins stabbing Claudia until there’s no strength left in that arm.  “He’s mine! Mine! Mine!  Mine!”  She laughs maniacally and leaves the apartment, heading back to her room at home.

At the cabin, meanwhile, Valentin comes back in and starts harassing A Llora again, but this time, Ramiro has broken free of the ropes and he jumps on TinTin’s back and they begin fighting.  TinTin gets the better of Ram and drags him outside in the rain.  He dunks Ram head first into the watering trough and starts to drown him.  Inside, A Llora breaks free of her ropes and quickly straps on her prosthesis.  She finds the gun that TinTin left behind during the fisty cuffs.  She runs outside and aims.

A Llora tells Violentin to stop.  (Yeah, like he’s really going to listen.  I guess that’s added in because despite it being a life and death situation she has to still be a silly Ms. Goodie Two Shoes and offer the murderous bastard a chance at life he no longer deserves and herself a cleansing of her conscience once she actually pulls that trigger.  Sheesh.)  Damn!   Ana Laura gives the dude 2 chances to back off.  (By that time, I’m thinking, Ram legitimately HAS to be a goner.  How can the stupid goose play fair when the love of her life, one of the good guys, is being drowned???  DUH!)  Finally she shoots the SOB in the chest and he hits the ground, seemingly dead or dying.  She races over and revives a retching Ramiro.  Just then, Nerina, Mo and Leo arrive.  TinTin lives long enough to ask for forgiveness and die (we think) in his mama’s loving arms.

Sometime later SantiMarco  regains consciousness.  He asks which one of the two is the one in front of him.  It’s Ana Lucia, she tells him.  He’s relieved.  (Wouldn’t we all be about now.)   And which one is he now?  “--Oh, it’s me, Marcelo.”   She’s fine with that.  She likes the new Marcelo well enough.  “--Did Santiago leave?”  Rem returns to the room and the new Marcelo smiles and calls her Madrina.  Ana Lucia says only Santiago calls her that.  Why did he do it?  Because that’s who she is.  His madrina.  His mother.  He loves her greatly.  New Marcelo looks over to A Lucia and explains he’s now both men.  He’s Marcelo…Garcia.  Rem is thrilled.  Marcelo tells Ana Lucia that he’s the man who was born again as soon as he fell in love with her.  “—The first time I hugged you I realized I’d lived an empty life.  I love you so much!”  “—And I love you.  I will love you forever.”  They kiss, tenderly.  (He’s got a big owie, you know.)  And from out of nowhere the fairies and elves begin playing and singing a love song, their love song……

Can't wait for your recap.

Yikes...note to self : DO not taunt the crazy. Thanks for that PSA deCLawd.

Loved the gunfight at the NOt OK corral between MArcelooo and Saintly.

Goodbye CUrly. Anaboohoo finally got proactive. Dropped the Mike and you like a bad habit. Rhapsody in the rain.

That scene when Ana Leticia kills Clawdia just sent chills down my spine! Without a doubt Angelique Boyer outdid herself in this TN. She definitely deserves all the awards!!!

The captions were such a pain last night. I wanted to switch to spanish, but they were doing the same thing. I plan on downloading & rewatching. Looking fwd to your recap Jardinera!

Urban I couldn't catch yesterday's recap, so I want to tell you today that I think you're right about Fac. He mentioned that he knew Ana Let ordered Ev to kill Marc, so he definitely was in the know about her & was most likely seeking her out as an accomplice waaay before.

Jardinera I know this is your last blog, but just wanted to tell you I always enjoyed your style of writing, snappy comebacks & awesome alliteration! I hope to see more of your blogs on here. You were a great inspiration, I learned so much from you girls :)

Really looking forward to your recap Jardinera.

Anon, Boyer was simply amazing last night...sheer brilliance, particularly during the scene you mentioned.

Poor, poor Nerina...

Diana

I’m not sure how I feel about Nerina. She is going to be having a bad day when she finds out about the Claw too. I don’t know how her children ‘stole’ everything from her. I want to blame her, but I really have no evidence. I do not know the inheritance laws in Mexico, but here it would require her assistance.

Sue now we know why Maribel was in the show. Floor diver.

Inaki was pretty impressive, unarmed with a bad shoulder, and surprised by a gun wielding major Mafioso Fecal. Whap Blam, done. Guy has…..correction..HAD..nine lives, but he is waltzing through them pretty fast. I’d betcha he is down to one or two by now.

Mariano left Claw alone with AnaLetMeGutYouLikeaHog and soon Claw’s days ended. How long before somebody finds her? Will A N Y B O D Y….anybody put two and two together? I noticed Mariano even mentioned her “Craziness” last night shortly before she went to work on Claw. She sure enjoyed herself. I am sure the laughing fit will solidify the few people here calls for her to get help, because she is sick. Needs counseling, poor thing. Mentally ill, put her where she can’t hurt herself, and help her, hell she will be good as new before long. Oooo wonder if her formula was tainted as a baby. There just has to be some excuse for her murdering other people which makes it alright, right? WRONG..Kill her.

In our world when people cook and eat other people or kill them some other way there is hardly any argument that they are not crazy. Yup they are mentally ill …..and cannot be helped. Maybe they can be rehabilitated, but can we take the chance? Get them out of the way.

Did Llora put her leg back on to go rescue Ram? Looked like she must have, it’s hard to make even an easy shot like that on one foot and still be standing. Or she could pass a roadside sobriety test drunk. At least Valentin was alive until Nerina got there. Not that I give a chipmunk’s ass about him saying goodbye to Nerina, but that gave him a lot of time to think about the fact that he was dying. He didn’t deserve quick.

SoeBad and Erni…I’d rather see a MaxiPad commercial.

Oh, and through some Jack Reacher style dream, SantiMarc survived the de-tumoring after an obligatory dying on the operating table and subsequent revival. Tears and happiness for Lu and Rem as he recovers in ‘Final Episodes’ record time. “Oh hey baby. I was dead an hour ago, but I’m alive and talking now and I Luuuurve U U U. Here kiss my oxygen tube.”

T

I am soooo waiting with eager anticipation to see your take on events!! We had the best recappers for this crazy show!

I'll just say, wow, Bowyer. Brought it again last night!

Hated that Llora, though good to see her be strong and fight, was the one to kill Tin. Goody, she gets to live with the fact she killed someone...even if it was justified. With her personality, no matter how they paint the ending, realistically, that will always haunt her. Would have rather seen someone like Mariano pull that final trigger as he dashed in.

What was the point with Maribel having to fall. Honestly.

Can't wait to see how AnaLet walks out of that bathroom. They sure made a dramatic point of that door closing...closing on the last gasps of her sanity is my guess.

W

Jardinera A Big Thank You in advance for the recap we are to see later, and again, double thanks for all your past recaps. The CCs were on drugs last night as partially indicated by any sensible dialogue in ALL CAPITALIZATION. Thanks LooneyVision, maybe Monday night you can mix in a little Arabic and Swahili.

TOA

Daisy, AnaHanaLecter's hyena laugh sure was appropriate. I wish Llora hadn't been busy mopping and could have been there to see it as her exposure to the real world continues.

The moment after AnaLet kills Clawdia and begins to laugh, is when I realise how truly disturbed and demented she is. She might end up committing suicide being tormented by the souls of all the people she has killed or have been been in accomplice in killing.

Ana Laura killing Valentin did not surprise at all. I saw it coming. She has shown true character growth by demonstrating that she is worthy of Ramiro's love.

Jardinera,
An advance thank you for what will no doubt be an excellent recap. Waiting with anticipation.

Hasta Pronto

Can't wait for the recap. The bloody awful captions almost ruined it.

Agree poor Nerina. Losing both kids in same day. I don't think anyone will have doubts as to who did it.

Ana Let looked permanently cracked afterwards. I think Inaki is probably waiting in her bedroom for her. What will he do with or to her?

Llora is a great shot. Glad she was so strong, refusing Val at every turn, saving Ram. Agree I wish she wasn't the one to kill Val but glad Ram didn't do it. Mariano would have gotten over it easier.

Maribel has been an awful friend but she didn't deserve to die. Poor Javi. Once they investigate and find the rope had been tampered with, Javi may put two and two together against Inaki. Otherwise why would he have run if it was Marcelo that was doing the tampering.

I hope Monday's one and a half hour episode is all episode and not "let's meet the cast" for half an hour.

Maribel didn't die. At least we weren't given that indication. She may be very crippled, and might understand Ana Laura better (likely enough to apologize & move on from Ramiro).

I'm glad that they showed Ana Laura miss the 1st shot, it'd have been hard to believe she could shoot on her 1st time holding a gun.

She was super badass to grab her prosthetic, grab the gun, and then give CPR. This is the improved Ana Laura we've been waiting for!

I liked that they pissed Tin off by not being pawns in his sick game. That's a really strong love they have, very Romeo & Juliet.

Ana Let looked nuts, and Claw looked lezzy crawling all over her like she did.

So glad Ana Lu put Ana Let in her place, it's about time someone did.

Javier wasn't ready to out his brother when asked if he saw anything.

Fac was out like a light, & it was hilarious how Inaki reacted by his relief that he wasn't shot.

Inaki walking out, without any of the guards in that same hallway noticing, was too easy. But we'll see how his luck changes when he seeks out Ana Let.

I'm sure Ana Let will be outed to the family by Ana Laura for setting her up, or when they discover Claw's body. Either way, she's a goner.

No manicomio, she needs to die. This family gave Sole a break simply b/c she was family. So I imagine they'd still visit AnaLet in a prison or psych ward. Too much mercy b/c she's ill. She must die, make it slow if need be, but death nonetheless.

Jardinera- Looking forward to your final episode of this show.

Finally, a relatively coherent and exciting episode!

Carvivlie- Don't know if Javier is the one who clued them in, but there WAS a brief scene of everyone after Maribel's fall (and I do think they said she was dead), when someone mentions that Inaki is the one to blame for sabotaging the ropes and for Marcelo being in the hospital. But they didn't show how everyone put 2 and 2 together.

Anna- "She was super badass to grab her prosthetic, grab the gun, and then give CPR. This is the improved Ana Laura we've been waiting for!" ITA! This was exactly what Ana Laura needed to do to show she was worthy of Ramiro's love and to grow as a person. Now both she and Ramiro have shot someone dead in order to protect someone. They're even. I love that she was the one to save Ram.

Glad they took care of the tumor/surgery/melding of personalities relatively quickly. Marcelo is sane and whole again. The beginning of that dream, with the car chase, was super confusing though. I needed them to give it fuzzy edges or something, because for a few seconds I thought I had stumbled into another series. :)

Bouncing Bimbos Batman. Inaki waiting in her bedroom? I had thought he would be in D.F. International Aeropuerto buying a ticket to Slovenia or Tasmania or somewhere that only has one incoming flight a year. Carvivlie you are probably right though. He is like an annoying moth around my Bug Zapper Light with her. Now that Llora has earned her Range certificate, maybe she can do him in. Anybody else notice what she didn't do with the gun after the second shot? She did not lay it aside or throw it or stare at it in disbelief, she just opened her hands and let it drop. That was a lot for her to digest, Valentin is a shiturd and she killed him. She found herself in one of those 'no good decisions' situations I talk about. No matter which way she chose either one was not palatable, kill Vin Tin or VT kills Ram.

Carvivlie, remember too that SantiMarc saw Inak cutting the rope and survived his operation with what looks like his immediate memory intact. So even if Java does not put two and two together, surely someone will ask Marcelo about his confrontation and he will tell.

Yeah too bad about Nerina losing both on the same day. I would have preferred VinTin be killed much earlier.

TOA

Anna Remember that Tio was there with Nerina and somebody just after LLaura shot Mop. So I assume he already knows AnaLet and VinTin's game. My CC's were from another planet, and I couldn't hear half of it cause I kept screaming "Oh Shit!".

I need to rewatch epi. At the end, I kept waiting for someone to mention if Maribel survived. But I just read someone said she had died.

Yes, Claws looked like she was trying to turn on Ana Let with the erotic talk and rubbing all up on her. That looked to me like a movie about "Lesbian Vampires."
All it needed was for Ana Let to drink her blood afterwards or instead of stabbing her she coulda bit Claws neck. Never seen anything quite like this in telenovelas. Weird indeed.

As for Anaboohoo being the one to kill VAl, recently a popular theme in TV shows and movies is The Strong Woman. In fact, in my favorite show based on a series of novels , fans of the books are always complaining because the writers often give the hero's best ideas, lines , and deeds to the heroine...making her seem in charge and the hero diminished. I guess these writers wanted ANaboohoo to rescue herself and RAm(the hero(?)

Maybe Bonnie (ANaletmegocrazyonyou) and Clyde (INaki ) will end together ...murder suicide. I think Inaki has had enough and will kill ANaletme and then himself. They will be together in a warm place...a very, very warm place..forever.

Sue and bring their Sammy Note 7s.

So did Maribel die, Anna?

Looking forward to the recap! I also want to know if we know for sure that Maribel is dead. They never showed her again after she fell.

I agree with everyone that I think it was fitting that Ana Laura killed Valentin. Despite her disability and lack of self confidence she proved to be brave in the right moment. I noted that she probably was hoping that by firing off a warning shot that Tin would surrender but when he didn't she had no choice but to shoot him.

I was surprised that Iñaki avoided death once again. After Facundo shot him I figured he would survive but this time I didn't think he'd have any way out. We shall see if he survives the finale.

Poor Nerina lost both of her children in one episode. She will be devastated when she goes back and finds Claudia dead. It's about time that Mariano found out that Claudia and Tin were siblings. AnaLet was right. He had an affair with Claudia for years but obviously didn't know much about her.

The dream sequence with Marcelo and Santiago was very well done. I figured that both personalities would accept each other and become one. I'm glad that Ana Lucia stood up for herself and Marcelo against Ana Leticia.

TF, I know I heard muerta when everyone was around Mari but I don't know if they were asking or confirming. My cc's being so off I missed the scene Vivi mentioned where they know Inaki cut the rope. Im hoping the recap clears it up. I expected to see the group arrive at the hospital with Mari while AnaLu waited for Marcelo but since that didn't happen maybe Mari is dead.

In that brief throwaway scene, they said she is dead. I'm sure we'll find out for sure fairly quickly on Monday.

Carvivlie and Vivi---

I think I heard it too but I didn't catch who said it. I do believe someone (Javier, maybe?) checked her pulse as well but the scene went by so quickly it was hard to keep up. I hate when Univision starts cutting things out because I doubt it was filmed that way.

Yay, Ana Laura came through and did what she had to do. She wasn't that far away from TinTin and he wasn't running, so he made a good target even for the untrained. Realistic that after being numbed and lying on the bed for days that Ram didn't have the moves to take down TinTin himself. I loved that Ana Laura and Ram declaring their undying love for each other drove TinTin nuts. Nice when the two glanced knowingly at each other when TinTin broke the bottle and left the shards on the floor.

I laughed at first when I saw Maribel fall because she was always trying to usurp Ana Lucía, but I never thought she'd be killed. She was a pain but didn't deserve that.

Maybe Clawdia is still alive? Would they really have both Nerina's kids die the same day?

After last night, I'm think the gran final will be pretty good.

In the Hospital: “Oh AnaLaura, thanks for coming by to see me. I was lucky in that the fall didn’t really break anything. I should be getting out in a couple days. Nerina told me about Valentin. How awful.”

“Yeah, keep your scum suckin lips off my Ramiro or things could go bad for you…..….HOE!”

I'm really looking forward to Jardinera's recap, as I couldn't follow all the screaming between AnaLet and Tio before she murdered Claw. She was like a rabid animal with that knife, then the Hyena afterwards. Anvil where are you?

Finally I got to watch this today. What a fun episode!

A few thoughts:

Ana Laura has come into her own with staying with and protecting Ramiro to the point of killing Valentín. I could have done with less screen time for this plot..

I do not have to worry about Ana Lucía on the scarves anymore because Maribel took the fall for her. As Maribel is on the floor, someone says to call for an ambulance. Somebody else says she is dead. So, who knows? Bummer for Ana Leticia.

Tío Mariano had it with Ana Leticia and was not believing all of her BS. It took him long enough. It was great when he told her to just shut up at the hospital. Ana Lucía sure took Ana Leticia on with all of the ugly truth in front of dear tío. Yay!

Santiago and Mariano have achieved a new and improved self. The special effects of the "fusion" made me think of "Beam me up, Scotty!" They could have done better.

Too bad Iñaki did not finish Facundo off.

I loved Claudia telling Ana Leticia she had "everything" with Mariano Ana Leticia always wanted for herself and then going on to describing their sexual encounters whispering all the tasty details in Ana Leticia's ear. Ana Leticia's clearly suffered having to hear all about it but not for too long. . .

Anyway, too bad Claudia had to die but yay! because now Ana Leticia is a bona fide killer and can end up in a jail somewhere. She sure enjoyed getting her hands dirty, so to speak.

Loose ends: Facundo, Iñaki, Ana Leticia. Anyone else?

I cannot wait until Monday!

.

So many things mentioned in the comments that I missed. Looking forward to your recap, Jardinera, you don't miss a thing! Thank you for all of your dedication and hard work in recapping TVA. It is greatly appreciated!

Some entertaining comments:
Anna said, "SoeBad and Erni…I’d rather see a MaxiPad commercial."
Leticia said, "Yes, Claws looked like she was trying to turn on AnaLet with the erotic talk and rubbing all up on her. That looked to me like a movie about "Lesbian Vampires."
TOA said, "Bouncing Bimbos Batman" and "He (Inaki) is like an annoying moth around my Bug Zapper Light with her (AnaLet)."

Really enjoyed reading the comments!

I quickly rewatched the episode and I think there is a good chance Claudia may still be alive, based on where she took the kniifr

Yeah I missed a lot also because the CCs were so far behind. I'm going to watch it again on Hulu. Vivi, I also thought the beginning of Marcelo's dream sequence was otherwise and thought there'd been a mistake. And I could have done without the first half of that sequence with Marcelo gunning down person after person. I think the body count on this TN is inordinately high. There's been Evaristo, Gina, Jennifer, Orlando, Maribel, Claudia, Valentin, and the girls' parents all murdered. I don't know anyone who's been murdered. In fact, I don't know anyone who knows anyone who's been murdered. Not about which I've been told. Why is this stuff fed to us to such an alarming degree? I'm much more interested in watching things to which I can relate. I'll say it again. The psychological drama about the three women has been plenty interesting and would have been enough.

But I was very glad to see Ana Laura save Ramiro, instead of the other way around. I thought that said something positive. Despite all the crying and the believing of the wrong people (typical soap plot development), I have liked Ana Laura. But I like the new, improved Ana Laura even better.

Carvivlie Claw still alive? Oh My. I didn't get a good look at the knife, we were shown the butt end for a bit and it appeared to be a medium to small kitchen knife. The type where the blade metal extends all the way through the back of the handle. But sheezo she stabbed the poor girl a gazillion times. She stabbed many times, and there was a lot of blood. I hope she isn't dead just because she agonized AnaLetMePerforateYou. But getting stabbed and surviving it is what she gets for being allied with the devil.

Exceptional Part 1 Jardiera. You are a wonderful writer and your humor was sublime as always.

"Mar-iago" and "beigey bosom bandaging Bond number" were among my favorites.

Ana Let's family is now fathoming her evilness and is beginning to treat her as the pariah she is. I have frequently stated I do not like Mariano but the horrified looks he gave to his niece led me to feel badly for him.

While I agree Ana Laura showed a great deal of courage, I believe Ramiro was so immersed in sadness as he though Ana Laura was going to die, he didn't concentrate on what he should have - trying to be reasonable with their unreasonable, insane captor. I am still totally baffled as to where Val went when Laura and Ramiro were able to untie themselves so will wait until you put Part 2 up Jardinera.

Will have more to say about Let and Inaki at that point.

Enjoyed everyone' comments.

Thank you Jardinera.

Diana

Fecalmundo he he

Can't wait for part 2

I am still totally baffled as to where Val went when Laura and Ramiro were able to untie

He had to run down to the liquor store? Maybe?

t

Part 2 is up. Wow! What a long one this time! Lots of important conversation and action also. Thanks everyone for waiting. I hope I don't disappoint with filling in the blanks for you this time. Hulu had clear CC's without any problems.

Great recap Jardinera!!!!!

Toa, I think Val needed to calm down so he went outside. He was losing control of them since AnaLlora didn't play along as easily as he thought. Probably was trying to come up with a new plan.

Claw and AnaLet were so close to each other I thought th y may go at it themselves! I hope Claw lives just to make sure AnaLet gets hers. But I think she will provide only more heartache for Nerina.

Jardinera, thank you for an equally great Part 2.

I simply loved the Inaki/Facundo scene. I thought oh no. Dead man walking. As surprised as I was that Inaki wasn't killed on the spot, I dare say no one was more shocked than he: "Yaki is just as curious as we are about his good fortune and well placed moves. (And it was very worth the waiting for, if I do say so myself--and I do.)" Totally agree Jardinera. He was in disbelief, looking for bullet holes himself! I also wondered why he didn't grab the gun but then realized that is not his method of killing. He's used his hands and sheer, brutish strength.

I think Claudia is dead and if she survived the fall, Maribel will likely be in for a long recuperation (and [possible paralysis).

I would be shocked if Inaki kills Ana Let. He may well want to but don't think he will be able to, as he loves her in his sick twisted way.

What his fate and that of Ana (and the loathsome Facundo) are will be revealed Monday. So much of the recent episodes have been rushed and some of the plot lines, not consistent, but that doesn't mean I won't be hanging on every word!

Thanks again Jardinera.

Diana

Bravo, Jardinera! One of your best recaps yet. Thank you, amiga!

Remember long ago when Javier said that Inaki had actually been a super skilled acrobat/dancer, before he decided to turn his back on that life and make his fortune in business? I'm guess those high kicks and tight rope balance along the ledge came from all those years training with his father and brother. Seems he has something he should thank his clown father for (in addition to his unconditional love and support).

I'm looking forward to seeing how he, Ana Leticia and Facundo meet their demises on Monday.

Must say I'm going to miss this show. I'ts had a nice balance of good and bad. LQLVMR was absent of any good things happening for the good guys throughout and the bad was really really bad. This has been lighter .

Thank you Jardinera. This was an arduous task. You were very clear on your story telling with plenty of chuckles. As others have mentioned it was a wonderful recap and generous of your time and talent. Nothing else to add just want to thank you!

Vivi, "Remember long ago when Javier said that Inaki had actually been a super skilled acrobat/dancer, before he decided to turn his back on that life and make his fortune in business?"

Ummm. No. Not at all! Your memory is marvelous. You remember so many details. And so carefully.

Diana

Great work, Jardinera! Loved these:

Now A MiMi (with her essentials dangerously low in the saddle) and Mo arrive in the waiting area.

She must think she's in a James Bond movie especially because of this (which she didn't even see):

Suddenly, Yaki surprises Fubar with a Judo kick to the chest and another to the head.  (Where’d he learn that, writers?)

He crawls out the window, onto the ledge, and eventually finds another open window to enter.  The robed guests there let him pass as they cower in the corner of their bed.  He makes it down to the first floor and saunters up the sidewalk.

He walked out of there just like Pierce Brosnan did, even buttoning the jacket on his way. Pedro Moreno must have enjoyed that bit.

Although I have to wonder how he would have recognized Clawdia's car. Did he know her well enough for that?

More coming...

If Maribel is dead, she didn't deserve it. Chasing Ramiro wasn't nice, nor was her earlier attempt to knock Ana Lucia out of the competition for star of Danz Aire; neither merited death.

Clawdia is likely to be dead because of the number of stab wounds and ensuing blood loss. This bugs me because Nerina didn't deserve to lose both of her (albeit unworthy) children. Clawdia may have been a gold-digger but she would never have killed for it. What this will do is so horrify Mariano and Ernestina they'll be calling Eladio Gomez-Luna for the name of his shrink.

Again, I wish Carlos were here to comment on the medical stuff, but since Marcelo didn't suffer any physical weakness prior to this surgery he will be on his feet fairly soon. Based on the flashbacks I am not believing that the tumor had anything to do with his split personality; it was Facundo trying to turn him into the cruel person he could never be.

However, remembering how I felt after coming out of spinal anaesthesia only after three hours I think it's a major stretch to have had Ramiro on his feet and fighting after several days or a week of this. You don't spend a week on your back and be able to get up so easily, even with an adrenaline rush. He may be in danger of permanent after-effects from those drugs.

I agree with most of the comments favoring Ana Laura taking action in this situation. She did what she had to do and her conscience will be clear. A few visits to a shrink would be a good idea (police in the US often see shrinks after killing in the line of duty) but I think she will need one anyway when all of Ana Leticia's crimes come to light.

So will Ernestina and Mariano. I now can't wait for the finale because I'm wondering whether any of them will see her cackle as she did when she stabbed Clawdia.

Goodness, UA, if hearing AnaLet cackle gave us the heeby jeebies, I can only imagine how horrible they will feel hearing that evil cackling from their adorada. Even though they realize she needs help I am certain nothing could prepare them for that.

I can't wait to see her make her last ditch attempt of blatant seduction of her uncle. Oh how I hope he doesn't fall into temptation. Probably not because I think he and Viri will end up together.

Another thing AnaLet was boasting that Inaki really knows her worst deeds but loves her just the way she is. Its true, I don't think he would ever hurt her or want to live without her.

Kinda reminds me a bit of the movie "Original Sin." Inaki as flawed as he was, was influenced to do bad cause he was "whipped" by senuous evil woman.

Jardinera, thank you for a wonderful recap if this action-packed episode!

Awesome Jardinera

"A MiMi, wearing some beigey bosom bandaging Bond number" I kept thinking that thing probably hurt to wear

I loved the taunts, they were effective delivered sensuously and no surprise Leticia gutted her. Even Claudia didn't register surprise.

Why hasn't anyone gutted Mariano? He's just nasty.

The Marcelo/Santiago standoff was stupid. No, the whole Marcelo/Santiago storyline was stupid. Shoulda stole the storyline from "The Thing with Two Heads"

Kinda glad it was Laura that shot Val cause had Ramiro done it Laura would have been mad at him.

This is the first time I've really paid any attention to Boyer and she is stellar. Rationally I know Leticia, Laura and Lucia were portrayed by the same actress but emotionally, especially side by side, there were three.

(police in the US often see shrinks after killing in the line of duty)

But more often celebrate with some back slapping, locker room manhood size comparisons and promotions

bandaging Bond number" I kept thinking that thing probably hurt to wear

Remember most of what was peeking out was plastic, I kept thinking how hard it is to get all those packing peanuts back into the box. :-)

T

Just watched it again.

Not sure about Maribel, but Clawdia might still survive. There was less blood on her dress than I noticed the first time and it wasn't spreading. We didn't hear the Mozart Requiem that's usually played at a character's death, but when Nerina closed Valentin's eyes we can be certain he's gone.

Two other characters felt for Maribel's pulse, but neither were doctors. She might still be alive but in shock and possibly paralyzed from the fall. Too severe a punishment for her sins. Clawdia was stabbed about ten times but just below the rib cage on the left side. If Ana MeMeME didn't hit the lung Clawdia could still be alive. She also seemed to have earned at least partial redemption for helping Mariano find Ana Lucia and for calling Ana MeMeME out.

However, I doubt very much that she knew the depth of Ana MeMeME's evil or her mental instability. Clawdia committed maybe more than a few sins in her life, but none bad enough to merit a death sentence. If I were writing this -- especially under the current dictum of Maximum Suspense -- I'd let her live and gradually redeem her in Nerina's eyes. Maybe have her marry an accountant colleague of Ramiro's who will protect the restored family fortune.

She should live to testify if this comes to a legal process, but I doubt that it will.

The scene between her and Ana MeMeME definitely looked like something out of a Carmilla-themed Hammer film. The director and the actresses were definitely dancing on that edge.

Inaki's jacket was clean until we saw him leave the hotel where it had pale dust on it that should have been there as we saw him cross the hotel room with the cringing couple. I was mistaken about him buttoning the jacket, but he looked as cool as a cucumber as he exited the hotel. Very Bond (James Bond) but that won't last.

Thanks, Jardinera. Great recap. All the key detail packed with top-choice snark. My faves:

An Un-Death-defying Maribel Drop’nStop - Ouch!

She [Ana Laura] puts her remaining foot down and refuses.

Yep, Iñaki's upbringing doing circus stunts with dad and little bro came in handy foiling Facundo and walking out on the ledge. Once he got way, did he even think to himself "Thanks, pops, for all you taught me." Probably not.

I'm happy Ana Laura rose to the occasion. She's totally worthy of Ramiro now. The fact that their roles reversed in the showdown with TinTin seemed natural to me. Ramiro had endured days (weeks?) of psychological and physical torture. Not uncommon for one partner to find strength when the previously dominant partner falters.

So presumably Ramiro and Ana Laura, Marcelo Garcia and Ana Lucía, and Ernestina and Rodrigo will live happily ever. But poor Nerina and Tadeo - they'll sure need to comfort each other.

And what about Mariano? He's made some moves in the right direction (fessing up about Gina, putting Soledad in jail, changing his will to benefit Ana Lucía) but also that ambiguous (at least to me) move of letting Ana Leticia smooch him (to test her?). Unlike Chana, I can't read the Tarot cards on him. Will he do something heroic to turn it around or not? And where is Chana anyway?

fyi - My TV listing is showing a half-hour Tres veces Ana behind-the-scenes show after Monday's one and a half hour gran final.

I have three friends who are police officers. That was a very offensive comment.

ANONYMOUS 11:17, I agree. Police officers put their lives in danger every time they put on their uniforms. I would like to see the those who criticize police officers have the courage to put their uniforms on and do their jobs. What has happened to respect in our society? It used to be that officers were obeyed. If an officer said, "STOP!" you stopped! People didn't pull a gun on a officer without thinking about the consequences.

Niecie in MD, "So presumably Ramiro and Ana Laura, Marcelo Garcia and Ana Lucía, and Ernestina and Rodrigo will live happily ever."

I am still worried about what BadAna will do next. We still have 90 min. of program left. I keep thinking of the "death" Taro Card Chana kept pulling out of the deck. It hinted that one of the three sisters will die. If so, it could be one of the three older sisters: Abue, Leonore or Sol. Can't wait for the finale!

Sorry about the police officer rant. It's a sore spot for me right now.

So now Tio M knows AnaLet was instrumental in the Calamity in the Cabin, and that she put a Hit on Hubby long before AnaLu gave her an excuse.

He doesn't know for sure about her asking Inaki to murder AnaLu or her personal murder of his girl Jennifer and whatever we can call it she did to Claw.your.eyes.out.

Ooo Ohh throw in Isidrio, let's not forget him, he gave his life helping us hate AnaLet.

Will this resume' be enough to convince Tio, Llora and Granny that they can't trust her with the good silverware? I think Leonor already had an inkling.

Does this train wreck start grinding to a halt at the usual time and just run over?

toa

Virgina, for me, no apologies needed.

About your last comment you triggered my memory on what Chana said on her cards about one of the 3 sisters. I vaguely remember that she mentioned something like a very noble woman would be the one to restore chaos. Something like that, I thought at the time it was Viri. However if she hinted it was one of the sisters, my vote is Soledad.

So did Inaki kill Fecalmundo or just hurt him enough to make his Bond get/away? It just seems too good that Fecal is really dead. I feel we havent seen end of him yet.

It cant be Monday soon enough, but hope to review the last epi again, because so many things happened so fast.

Gracias again for the selfless work that recappers and bloggers do.

Leticia, I would hardly call Sole a very noble woman. To me Ernie or Leo could be called that. Sole has a lot to make up for so if she dies saving someone that would work for me.

Fecalmundo is only knocked out. I'm sure he will come back with guns blazing now.

Carvivlie, I knew it was too good and easy for Fecalmundo to be DEAD. I know Sole is far from noble, but if shes the one who dies, that would be her redemption.

UA, Claw was totally self serving when she told Mariano where to find AnaLu. She had her reasons, the main one to get into Mariano's good gracces. Still I agree she or Maribel didn't deserve to die and hope they don't.

Fecal had two 'assistants' outside the door with him, so I am sure they had to have heard something and revived him quickly. Or if he was in there too long they surely had instructions to investigate. As discussed a week or so ago, TN 'knockouts' occur much more readily than in real life, as evidenced by there being anyone moving after the first play in any football game.

I remember Chana making several cryptic pronouncements about three sisters, and our discovering that she spoke of the older three, but I can't recall what it was.

Thanks for all the comments and thank yous. I have enjoyed working with all the re papers a d so appreciate ViviDC's extra effort a d time leading the group. I will continue with ECDP and whatever else come along when the spirit moves me. Jardinera 654

Anon @ 11:17, whom are you addressing that comment to?

I'm sure that Facundo is only knocked out. Since Inaki didn't take the gun and it's still in the room (I think it's on the bed) either Facundo or one of his goons will pick it up and resume the chase.

The police should be looking for them -- and Inaki -- by now. If Facundo catches up with Inaki and gets the recording of Ana MeMeME's admission of guilt he will kill him, as he has outlived his usefulness to him as well as failed in his assignment to kill Ana Lucia. Somebody has to do the math on Maribel's fall and come up with Inaki having cut the rope. Marcelo is awake and in control of his faculties; his memory should not be impaired.

Ana MeMeME sold him out and he should know that at some point. There are so many different end-game possibilities here:

-- Inaki finds out about the memory card before encountering Ana Leticia. She tries to play him again and he watches out, then kills her in self-defense
-- Inake doesn't find out, tries to escape with her, and they end up in a suicide pact situation (but please, not another Thelma and Louise one)
-- In the belief that Inaki deliberately screwed up Ana Leticia kills him and later offs herself rather than be captured
-- Facundo kills them both and is later offed by...

-- Ana Lucia, defending Marcelo and/or herself?
-- The police, before Marcelo's eyes?
-- Marcelo, by accident?
-- Mariano, defending his remaining nieces?

Inaki does know about the SD card. Fac showed it to him & outed Ana Let. What I wanna know is if Inaki grabbed it? And if not, why not? I get not grabbing the gun, but he'd be stupid to leave the SD card behind.

FWIW, here in FloriDUH, Univ has TVA on at the regular time, 9:00 and going till 10:30 with a "Secrets of TVA" from 10:30 till 11:00.

Ms. Urban, I believe Fac told Inaki as much (that AnaLet sold him out) when he came in the door. Anyway it would be obvious if he had the memory card.

"f Facundo catches up with Inaki and gets the recording of Ana MeMeME's admission of guilt he will kill him" Unless they made new copies, both Inak and AnaLet are together on one card.

Anna, I believe Faundo told Inaki it was a copy. He said something about the original which I didn't understand. I don't think he took the copy or the gun (not a gun guy).

Virginia
OT: I'm not offended by what you said. As a person who's always hated authority, I respect officers nonetheless. And while I agree that most of the incidents we've seen on the news involved not following orders, there have been about 3 that I'd seen where the victims cooperated & the officers did abuse their authority. But the small percentage isn't enough to make a blanket statement that all cops are bad. And I also believe that the media is taking advantage to rile an emotional response for ratings. I think the Ferguson effect reveals that targeting cops is just a scapegoat & ignores the actual issue underlying these cases: the system. The isolation of a minority into poor neighborhoods, the reduced available opportunities, the limited access to proper education, poor rehabilitation of criminals, and filtering of drug-activity into these neighborhoods by Wall-Street. Change the system, reduce the crime, and then we'll reduce the incidence of police encounters. But it's easier to point fingers at cops than to blame an invisible system. I, personally, blame our government oligarchy. Wall Street & Crime have a proportional relationship. When crime is up (drug sales), stocks go up. Without crime, our economy would tank. These are FBI statistics. So the system MUST change, otherwise we'll continue blaming the target they place in front of us, rather than the actual perpetrators behind this ongoing system.

Diana That's right, I totally forgot! Ok so I guess he's screwed regardless lol.

Inaki didn't stop to retrieve it, but did Facundo play it? We didn't see that. Either way, he's cornered.

Everyone can now stop reminding me that I screwed up here.

I will be very disappointed if the writers have Inaki and Facundo taking each other out and Ana MeMeME trying to beg forgiveness from her family. Unless, of course, Mariano says "Fat chance!" and hands her over to the police himself.

I had the same question about the chip and had to go back while recapping. It is a copy and I figured that ws why Yaki didn't bother to take it with him. Fubar doen't have A MiMi's and was trying to force it from Yaki's possession. We don't know if he carries it on his person or not, and we don't know that Fubar watched this confession. I cannot imagine he hadn't. However, we do know that great portions of this telenovela were edited out and that AB was extremely upset over that situation. I supposed there are a number of questions we won't get answered. Overall, this one I think has done a better job of keeping major holes out of the storyline, sort of..... I did like the creativity in making a jigsaw puzzle out of the storyline in its presentation.

O/T: I am leaving in the discussion about police, even though my instincts say to remove it. Let us keep the politics out of telenovela fantasyland, shall we?

Thanks --Ed.

Yeah Facundo doesn't feel like the right person to take Inaki out. Actually I feel like it has to be AnaLet. And I think it has to be Marcelo or Mariano that takes out Facundo. Though it would be cool if Ernie was the one since it was her whole family he has targeted.

Urban Anthropologist 9.25

I think Maribel might survived that fall but with a disorder or a paralysis. I like that end for Maribel because of the irony. She always envied Ana Lucia for everything she has. She wanted Ana Lucia's place in the show and she take it but in some way she took Ana Lucia's enemies also. That's how I see it. Althought she was evil and acting against Ana Lucia there were some times she was a real friend and that is why she doesn't deserve to die.

About Claudia I think she is dead. Seriously who can survive after 13 stabs? Ana Leticia left her bleeding and who knows when Nerina will find her. Claudia looked for it but on the other hand I feel sorry for it. Especially for Nerina. Both her children dead in the same night. Both Valentin and Claudia were disrespectful and acused their mother for something Edmundo did but I think Valentin was the worst. At least Claudia was trying to keep in touch with Nerina (she went to visit her also) when Valentin didnt want anything to do with her and only went to live with her just to go well with Ana Laura.

Jardinera - As always, thanks so much for bringing a smile to my face as I read your sharp and witty words.

Who better could address the issue of AnaLeticia's dress? I had to laugh when she was trying to convince Mariano that she and AnaLaura had a different education (read, more cultured) than AnaLucia. The dress speaks volumes about her own lack of dignity and where the heck does your typical upper class Mexican socialite buy a number like that?

Like so many others, I savored every moment of Inaki's acrobatics and your description of it. As he walked down the store he sighed, Ah, AnaLeticia. He knows what he is dealing with. I, too, am assuming that he is waiting for her in her bedroom.

Wonderful scene with AnaLaura coming into her own in both her manipulation of Valentin and then in shooting him. For the first time, I felt like she really loves Ramiro.

I also loved the scene with Mariano quizzing all of the women at the table and finally getting closer to the truth. He has come into his own in recent weeks as well.

Again, mil gracias. It's been said many times, but what a talented crew of recappers.

Gramma Erni could DO it! She is the last one Fac would suspect, and in that big old house she has room to hide a battalion in all those extra bedrooms and closets.

She pretends to know nothing, but wants to salvage grandaughter's marriage to Son of Fecal and wants to talk with him about it.

Then.. .. .. BLAM, she dives over the back of the davenport, and the popo hit Fecal like a roll Charmin Ultra Strong. Ahhh

TOA

I do like the idea of Ernestina taking him out. That would be so unexpected and who doesn't love a badass grandmother!

Yes the matriarch protecting her family, there couldn't be a better ending. After all Fecal was the one who was trying to destroy her entire family out of pure greed because her son-in-law inherited the business. He started by killing her daughter Lourdes and husband, in process lost AnaLu for 20 years. The writers have to give her the pleasure.

Hey. Did we ever figure out who the Gina duplicate in the tub was when Mariano, Ramiro and (supposedly) Valentin were called to the motel room. Was it Valentin who staged all this? ViVi your steel trap mind will know if anyone does.

toa

I am SURE Ernestina can find someone to put down one room of new carpet and patch a couple dozen little holes in the walls.

I want to thank all of the recappers for a job well done. I didn't have much time to comment but I did manage to read all the recaps. Thanks again to you all.

Is anyone going to recap the new novela Vino El Amor?

Thanks again,
Bluejean

TOA- I don't know if I can help, because I don't know if they ever made clear who killed the hooker in the hotel. There was one conversation between Edmundo and Ev, where they mentioned doing something to keep Ramiro busy and out of their hair, but it was never explicit, and now that we know Val can walk, he seems like the likely suspect to me. But he didn't gloat about it while he was holding Ram prisoner, and it seems like he would have. Perhaps that ended up on Uni's editing room floor?

ViVi Thanks. I suppose it doesn't really matter. It does not affect the price of tea in China at this stage of the game. Here toward the end of the story I guess it is easy to look back and find fault, thinking if they didn't wast time on things they would not finish, they could have fleshed out this ending a bit better. I don't recall the ultimate point of all that anyway.

Thanks again, tomorrow night should require Dramamine.

I actually believe all the police comments should be deleted, pro police /con police because they have nothing to do with this story and because it is too complex and emotional a subject to really be discussed,

Back to the show, Maribel and Claudia may not deserve to die but neither did Jennifer.

Viridiana would never have any piece or security in a relationship with Mariano as long as Ana Leticia is in the picture. Mariano is just now realizing how his actions have affected people and how Ana Leticia's actions have affected people. He will have to think on these things, mature and become a better person to be worthy of Viridiana.

Just like with Ana Laura, she needed to,realize some truths about people in order for her to finally appreciate Ramiro.

I think Ana Leticia will end up in a manicomio. I don't think they would wait 20 years to reunite the triplets, only to kill one of them off.

Good idea Anon 207, telenovela and blog are supposed to be an escape from the realities of life. I would like to enjoy my escape till the last drop or last minute.

Thanks so much, Jardinera - a wonderful recap once again. Thanks so much for all your hard work on this TN, it was a pleasure to recap alongside you!

So many great comments too. I am coming in late to the discussion, but have read all of them and nodded alongside. AB is amazing in this. can't wait to see what the finale brings tomorrow.

Although I'm against censorship as a general rule, I'm fine with the comments being deleted. I made sure my comment was directed at 1 person & even prefaced it w/ "O/T". I've seen plenty of O/T discussions before but I get it's a touchy subject, so I'm ok w/ at least forfeiting my comment. Not a big deal.

I reviewed the transcripts and Maribel doesn't appear to have died, they simply asked if she was. Bernardo, an MD, was also there. I mentioned before that she'll likely be crippled & I believe this only b/c of it being the perfect closure for her to sympathize w/ Ana Laura. Also, I was shown a spoiler photo by my sister, awhile back, that showed the remaining characters for a scene that still hasn't appeared. It may be a cut scene, but I doubt it.

The triplet reunion wasn't this TN's goal (well, only on the surface), overall it's about growth & redemption. AnaLet doesn't serve the story's evolution or provide any closure, if she still lives. This is a forgiving family. Erne & Leonor were absolute in their unrepentance ...until they discovered Sole was family. AnaLet would get pity for being ill, and they'll likely visit her as they have w/ Sole (a stranger to them). Visiting Let means she'll continue to be a part of their lives, which means they'll never have peace.

Btw to the person who asked, Inaki probably figured which was Chlamydia's car by using the car's key fob.

Remember when I mentioned that I freeze framed the masculine chin and wrist, but also the feminine hips after the hooker was killed? All those characteristics fit Tin's thin frame. Valentin is the only suspect to have known that Ram & Tio were Gina's lovers. He also knew that her death wasn't a suicide. As to the purpose of this, I couldn't tell you. Tin was a psycho. Period.

(Btw finished half-watching the Walking Dead & I feel traumatized lol. That show is misery-porn, can't wait for TVA to wash this gruesome off me).

Anon @ 8:11, of course Jennifer didn't deserve to die; she was Ana Leticia's victim. She killed her over Mariano. I can't wait to see his face when he finds that out.

Marcelo and his cousin will also flip out over this but Marcelo will recover.

I just finished rewatching the last epi. At the end, when Mariano, Leonar and Nerina show up at the shack, I just noticed the super horrified look on Mariano's face. Nerina was crying over Tin and Mariano looked very traumatized. Oh well, just
mentioned because I had not noticed the first time.

Buenas noches

There is A LOT of ground to cover in the final episode. i hate that we won't get many scenes of characters reacting to Analet's crimes. For Abue and Mariano and Leonor to have to have long conversations about everything she's done, they way they've had long BORING conversations about other matters, particularly in the earlier episodes.

Inaki won't forgive Ana Let. He will publish the video online, as well as send it to police. Unclear whether he'll live or die.

There are subplots that should have ended earlier, like Julieta/Tadeo/Javier. Viridiana should've also discussed Claudia with Mariano, and either break up for good, or reconcile. These are things that shouldn't take up time in the FINAL episode.

It looked like Lupita DeAllesio's son Ernesto singing at the event for a few moments on stage during that last show before Inaki was cutting the rope. If you blinked you missed him.

Lupita's music is the one singing so loud on "que no me degas" when Ines and Gonzo were having serious convo in her hospital bed and it was very annoying.

I KNOW!!! how annoying is that (supposedly empowering) Lupita D'alessio song in A QUE NO ME DEJAS! super distracting, and very loud.
The good news is they'll stop playing it relatively soon.

Thanks, Jardinera, for another excellent retelling. I have enjoyed sharing a telenovela with you. Now, I am ready for this story to finish so that I can move on to a new one. Take me to the vineyards!

I think that INaki is obsessed with Analetmedowhateveriwant and will take her out followed my himself. Fin. ANd to quote mi amigo Carlos..NExt !

"Chlamydia's car by using the car's key fob."

Well, she's cured. Anna you are too funny. Actually you are probably right. It looked like a modern large fob or key with the remote buttons on it. It sure saves me rolling my cart around in the grocery store lot while my ice cream melts still looking for my previous car when I have just traded.

Lest we forget all AnaLetMeKillEverybody's deeds, remember Tio Mariano's car, and trying to run over Santiago? Wish Tio had found out about that earlier, it is a bit after the fact now.

Like: "Oh, she killed X and Y and Z and tried to kill her husband... twice."
"Yeah and she whacked my car too." Yawn

Although it's late in the game, Mariano finding out about this now adds to the list of her crimes. This could be quite effective since he has finally used the word "locuras" regarding her complaints, obsessions, etc. It took far too long for him to catch on to how sick she really is.

Three people had to tell him that something wasn't right:
-- Samuel, his friend and attorney (suggestion)
-- Viridiana, his ladylove (direct)
-- Marcelo, Ana Leticia's husband (direct)

...and he still resisted accepting this until after half a bottle of red wine made him stop censoring his thoughts. Then Clawdia arrived, started coming on to him in the middle of those thoughts and he halucinated Ana Leticia, which caused him to reject Clawdia.

As to how long she knew, I'm not sure. She was sicced on Mariano by Ana Leticia at some point prior to the curtain going up on the story to distract him from Jennifer after Gina was murdered. Gold-digger Clawdia may have thought at the time that this was about keeping him single so that Ana Leticia would get her expected inheritance, but as she became determined to get Mariano for herself she probably realized Ana Leticia's true motive for this.

If anyone else remembers anything more specific than that, please say so.

Nope, Urban, you hit it perfectly on the head! Your post covered all the significant bits and then some.

I agree with Miguel, there are so many things we want to unfold that could've easily been done ahead of time. There were too many dull conversations that could've been cut down or cut out altogether. I wanted this wrapped up nicely in a bow, but looks like we're getting this present rolled up in newspaper & thrown in a hand-me-down gift bag.

TOA I'm sure Marcelo will tell Tio one day over coffee, that he witnessed his niece play batter-up on his coche & Tio will tell Marc about the time his wife ran circles around him in her undies, then they'll laugh over how silly things were back then.

Thanks, Jardinera. I'm so glad you got a juicy one for your final recap of this up-and-down TN.

Anna: "looks like we're getting this present rolled up in newspaper" yeah. :( Well, we'll see how things hash out tonight. Maybe, somehow, it will be perfect.

This episode was good. Angelique Boyer's eyes popped out so much I started laughing. I love her though.I think Claudia did survive because, because Ana Leticia stabbed her around the stomach area. My suspicion is that the knife probably got to some nerve that won't allow her to walk and now the permanantly disabled one is going to be her now that Valentin is dead and turns out he wasn't really disabled.

The stabs were very fast, so they were probably shallow and poorly aimed. May Clawdia survive to get revenge. Acid attack, anyone?

" ran circles around him in her undies"

"Ay, you ain't missing nothin Mariano, but her sister...Yowzers! !" WHACK !

There. A recap like Jardinera just gave us deserves to be in triple digits. t

I have to say there were many many annoying things about this stupid tn, but one of the worst is the end. They spent months painstakingly going so slow about these characters figuring out what was going on and it was so slow and boring. And now when it's finally interesting to see reactions and rap up the story properly, they are whisking through it like it's old news. Sadly disappointed. They'd need at least a week to do this properly and they're going to shove it into 1.5 hours. Boo.

Michelle- Agreed. There were many (months of) missed opportunities in this tn. They made the story more complex, but beat around the bush giving us the real meat of that complexity-- just hinting at it, while giving us the same boring, drawn-out stuff for weeks at a time. They had enough time to both give us a juicy story of revenge served cold (Evaristo, Facundo, Valentin), AND a complicated story of family reunion and reunification (Lucia and her sisters; Sol and her sisters). In addition to the love stories. Instead, all the reveals/redemptions/reunions are left to the bitter end-- rushed and ultimately non-filling, like a junk food snack.

If I didn't know better, I would swear that last week the producers told the writers: "OK chumps, you have three more days. Gran Final is 24th."

"WHAAA ? Oh Shit...this month? Holy Guacamole, what are we gonna do?"

"I dunno, but wrap it up Jackasses, Vinyard is coming."

toa

About a month ago I wanted to just quit watching, and then just see the Gran Final.
Hindsight says it was actually a good idea.

By the way, while AnaLaudIShotMyTin was shootin and Tio and Friends were getting rained on where were the FecalGoons who were helping Vin Tin Tin? You know the ones hanging around in all scenes at the 'Cabin' except that night. IE: when AnaLedtMeRideYourRam stopped by the other day.

A. The rain would have messed up their hair.
B. AnaLaura used a silencer, they just didn't hear anything
C. The Taco truck was coming by so they were busy
D. They were watching the Inaki/AnaLet confession video where AnaLet forgot and left the recorder on.

So is CarayCaray just completely ignoring the premiere of Vino el Amor? It's tomorrow, but there's not a single thread about it and nobody answered Bluejean's question about recaps.

I think like Despertar Contigo, it hasn't generated enough response to get a recap established. Maybe someone will do it today.

TOA The goons were with Facundo, going after Inaki. Valentin was left to murder the triplet & her lover all by himself.

Oh OK Thanks Banana. He had risen quite fast. He just didn't strike me as management material.

t

Well, that's probably why he was terminated from his position in the end :P

Urban I found a blog for your crimes of fashion edition, I only wish we'd caught it sooner. I posted it in the last edition, but here it is again for you & everyone to enjoy, for the last time: Ana Leticia's looks in all their whore-y glory.

Anon- Remember, this blog is staffed by volunteers, so if no one volunteers to cover a show, it doesn't get recapped. I'm happy to post a plot synopsis for Vino el Amor, and hopefully you and others who are really interested can get a team going.

Vivi- Yeah, I know that sometimes shows don't get recapped due to lack of volunteers, but it seems to me that in the past there have always been threads about upcoming shows (usually a week or more ahead of time) in order to determine whether there's enough interest/volunteers. So yes, a plot synopsis would be great and we can see what develops from there.

Anon- Done.

The captions are crap again tonight.
