Tres Veces Ana # 110

Discussion page until Sneaky's recap

Sneaky's recap posted below:

Ramiro’s dad kills himself. Again. And Ramiro cries. A lot. He also says stuff, but he was crying and I was bored sooo, yeah, I think he said something about not being loved, but who knows.

Sue and Analu convo – upshot; now they both understand all the weird things and they should forgive Sole and work together to help get her out of jail.  (sidenote: this whole nobody really loves me thing Analu is doing really grates and seems a little self pitying and self indulgent of her)

Inaki calls BadAna and tries to get a few precious minutes of her time to tell her about Orlando’s blackmail but she’s too busy getting her nails done and shopping so he’ll have to wait till she has time for him, byee.

Olde Flame is explaining to Santicelo.
Alfredo and he were protecting Marcelo. When he was in a coma Old Flame came to the hospital to see him and saw that Remedios would take care of and protect him so he got a corpse tattooed so they’d leave Santicelo alone, but Old Flame never knew who Evaristo was working for till last night when he saw the papers from the safety deposit box, and boy was it an unpleasant surprise who it was. Its somebody really close to Santicelo, someone who was always begging him to change jobs and now he knows it was b/c he was afraid of getting caught by Marcelo. Santicelo remembers Fecundo asking him on his wedding day to find a new profession and guesses that’s who it was. Old Flame confirms but Marcelo resurfaces and manhandles OldFlame not wanting to believe it saying how could you say such things about your friend, he helped you, you owe him everything.
Yea he did help me get my start in business OldFlame responds b ut  I earned what I have w/hard and honest work. I had no personal life and I worked for 40 yrs to get this far. I don’t owe that to your dad or anybody else and now I know he used me to clean up his dirty money. That is not a friendly thing to do. I spent all last night going over those papers, there is no way to deny the truth, your dad is crooked. He’s the head criminal. Marcelo givesim a steely stare.
Fecundo startles Leonore and tells her bout Santi and Analu but with his own special twist w/the purpose that she help him convince BadAna not to divorce his son. The convo ends badly w/each threatening the other that they will meet their darker sides. Oooh scary.

Old Flame and Marcelo are just about to discuss what they’re going to do about Facundo being the bad guy when a tearful Ramiro calls w/the news of his dad’s suicide. Old Flame is on his way.
Orlando calls Inaki who chides him for beating up his little bro and pretends he totally does have the money right there and sets up a meet for the payoff.

Sole and Sue chat in jail. Sole is ashamed of her location, and getting nabbed at work and probably causing problems between Sue and TioM. She knows she’s guilty, but she did it all for love. Sue knows Sole was a good mom but boy howdy did she make a big boo boo. Nonetheless,  Sue wants to help and so does Analu who totally doesn’t hate her. BadAna comes up in the convo and Sole is pretty happy hers didn’t turn out like that, Sue lets her know that Llora is nice too. Sole always thought Analu was a gift from God and her mama in heaven, she didn’t care about the reward Analu’s family offered, she loved her ect.ect.ect.
TioM asks Abue if Leonore is her sister and she says yep. But why keep it a secret? Oh Leonore didn’t want anyone to know, and you have to help me make the girls understand, also where’s Analu, you promised I’d get to meet her today. She’s waiting outside and comes in w/a nervous smile.
Athe same time Llora is w/Valentin meeting Analu. Which is the real Analu?
Abue hugs hers and says she prayed every night to find her again and never gave up.
Analu#2 sits down opposite Llora who is crying, of course and telling her she never gave up on her.
I think Analu#2 is really BadAna b/c she manages to let Llora know in the course of her perfectly nice normal conversation that Llora is the last to know about and meet her sister. Classic BadAna.
Abue wants TioM to leave her and Analu alone, she’ll be fiinee, geeze, he acts like she just had a heart attack or something.   Oh. Wait….
Anyway Analu#1 is afraid she’ll be a disappointment to Abue after all these years and hopes and expectations, after all they don’t really know each other.
Analu#2 and Val tell Llora how he found her when he went to make it up w/his mom and where and how Analu grew up. Llor a wants to talk to her sis alone and Val agrees to go. (he’s being too compliant and a little too smug. Analu#2 must be BadAna and he knows it.)
Analu tells Abue how she was the other woman in her sister’s marriage, but she didn’t know Santi was married when they met, wee’el sorta she did, but not really and she does want to explain. Abue loves her anyway and is not disappointed and they can get over all the stuff together, right, and they’ll never separate again, right?  Analu looks overwhelmed and scared.
Llora tells Analu#2 about Ramiro looking for Sole b/c he found some info about her daughter Sophia. Analu#2 looks like she doesn’t know who Sophia is but tells Llora that Ramiro found her a couple of weeks before she came to Mexico City and never told her anything about  anything. Llora is disillusioned and Analu#2 smiles smugly.
Analu#1 tells Abue her love story w/Santiago.
Analu#2 says Ramiro took her bracelet to be fixed when it broke and never brought it back, she’d really like to get it back, uups, Llora says she thinks TioM has it now, but why didn’t Ramiro tell anybody? Analu#2 says probably  Ramiro was covering for his buddy, Marcelo, because I’m the woman Marcelo was cheating on his wife, our sister with!  Doom Doom Doom. Or should I say Dum dum dumb.

Comments:
Oooh, that sneaky AnaLet! I don't know what she was saying to AnaLaura, but it wasn't good.

Hopefully when AnaLaura finds out about the suicide of Ramiro's father, and Ramiro clears Valeria, she will discuss-NOT ACCUSE-Ramiro of whatever the disguised AnaLet was saying.

A little communication would go a long way in this family! AnaLaura is like Abue in that they do not listen...

I predict that sometime soon, AnaLaura will find the "AnaLucia wig" and remember BadAna having used an "AnaLaura wig" to trick SantiMarc.

Putting "two-and-two together" she will(should) realize that, once again, BadAna used a wig to disguise herself and trick someone ...

I like your prediction, Virginia. Right now the forever gullible Ana Laura is getting on my last nerve.

My favorite part of the episode was after Facundo threatening Leonor by telling her she did not have the faintest idea of who he was or what he was capable of, she told him that he did not have the faintest idea of who she was. Evidently he wouldn't after her lifetime charade as "the maid".

Viridiana did a very good deed visiting Soledad.

Cannot Iñaki and Valentín just kill each other already? Maybe Ana Leticia could get caught in the cross fire or cross punches and be offed, too.

Sneaky, looking forward to another of your masterpieces.

Evil little bitch. They need to cut something off, an ear, hand, something so they can tell which one is really AnaLetMeImpersonate. When animal control neuters feral cats in my area, they notch an ear, and return it to its habitat. That might be more humane, though she has not really qualified for humane, than offing an ear or hand, etc. She didn’t actually offer Jennifer an ear notch did she? Maybe an eye, that would be pretty noticeable. Even with a fake eye, they could still tell it was her. I’ll send them an email.

toa

Virginia: She was telling LLaura how she was the other woman with AnaLet's husband, and embellishing it to make AnaLuc look as bad as possible She was also stab stab stab stabing Ram in the back. Telling her he had known her for a looong time, and she had given him her bracelet to get it repaired and he never gave it back.

See my recommendations above.

Ok I am watching and now I'm really confused. Last time we saw Ana Laura, she was in the car talking to Tin-Tin and he sent her a picture of Ana Lucia. Wasn't she in the car parked at Ratmundo's while Ramiro went in? If Ratmundo killed himself and there should have been all this chaos going on. Wouldn't have Ramiro come outside and told her that his father committed suicide? Yet now she's in this restaurant with Tin-Tin and "Ana Lucia" (*figured out why Ana MeMe was getting her hair done, etc... and didn't have time for Inaki, too busy playing dress- up*) and there is not a glimmer of the fact that her father in law to be just killed himself! This was a terrible editing job I fear. Unless I've missed something, would someone please explain?

I am reasonably sure that when Valentin took the photo of Ana Lucia he sent it to Ana MeMeME, who already knew what Ana Lucia looked and dressed like. When she was in the salon she was getting her usual blood-red nail polish removed to exchange for a French manicure or whatever Ana Lucia does. She saw her closely enough to have memorized her cosmetic style and the wig was a no-brainer.

Valentin probably loves the idea of destroying all three of them and when Nerina finds out I hope she disowns him.

Someone yesterday called Ana Lucia "selfless," and that is not the case. A truly selfless person has no personality and isn't a fighter. Ana Lucia has a healthy sense of self and nobody can make her even pretend to be what she isn't for the sake of anyone else's wants or needs. She has a generous heart but not to the exclusion of her own needs.

Cynthia, I might rewatch in the morning to check what was going on. That does sound like a bad editing job. I also need to rewatch the scene between Rodrigo and Santiago.

As to Ramiro I wanted to yell at him to man up and not cry over a sperm donor who hoped he would be a grifter like himself. I don't like that he got some of Ratmundo's blood on his hands or clothes.

Urban- I was the one who called AnaLu "selfless". The way you define it, I used the wrong word. I guess "unselfish" would have been better. Thanks for your insight. I learn so much from everyone's comments!

When Ramiro went to talk to his father and AnaLau was still in the car, she wasn't outside waiting for him. Valentin asked her if Ram was with her and she said "No, he went to talk to his father and I'm on my way home. We're going to see each other later tonight."

I don't particularly like David Zepeda but in this episode with his dad's suicide, I think he showed how much he has grown as an actor. Maybe the singing helps.?

Got my fingers crossed that AnaLaura has grown a bit and thinks things through. I'm actually loathing TinTin more than AnaLe now. At least, AnaLaura did, finally, ask him to leave the two sisters alone to talk. It was ridiculous that he would be there for such a reunion.

The reunion of real AnaLu and Abuelo took place the same time as the fake reunion. It will be interesting to see who will be the one to put this scam all together.

Maybe Valentine will get his 'chair hung up on the railroad tracks. Everything else which has happened to him, he earned fair and square. Now he has earned a trip to the tracks.
t

That was actually tough viewing last night if you were trying not to throw something.
Fortunately, Indians playoff game last night so I was going back and forth anyway. Good excuse to de-fuse.

My first thought as fake AnaLoon walked in was that was one of glee, because she and Tin had no clue that Mariano is the one who brought AnaLu to Abue at the same time. All Llora has to do if go home and listen to Abue go one about the wonderful reunion ( or find AnaLu still there) and know she's been had. I actually thought it a poorly thought plan, but then it's Tin's. He just wants to break up Ram and not thinking possibilities through.

Personally thought some scenes were just too long last night. Night before way too much crammed in one hour, and last night a lot of drawn out meet ups. And the death scene with Ram and his father...I'm guessing Zepeda was promised a big emotional scene. I'm not a fan, it was ok and then it kept going and going and it was time to go check the score on the ball game.

Another visit to pull on the our supposed heart strings for Soledad. I see why Viri went, but frankly tired of these daily visits and listening to Soledad again. Sorry writers you can pull all you want, not working.

So anvils need to fall yet on Facundo, Oily, Inaki, Tin, and AnaLoon. Claudia seems to have taken a hike somewhere. So when is the finale? 21st?

What great comments already...

"A little communication would go a long way in this family! AnaLaura is like Abue in that they do not listen..." very poignant Virginia.

Ana Lucia seems in daze. She seemed overwhelmed meeting her abuela who naturally wanted to shower her with love, hugs and affection. She doesn't know how to react and how to handle her new family who are treating her with ambiguous affection (Ana Let) to happiness (Mariano) to unrestrained joy (Ernie). She must be so confused! All this while trying to process the treachery of her "mother".

Jarifa, thank you for explaining Facundo and Leo's conversation. He has gravely underestimated Leo and I am afraid I have too.

Victoria, agree that David was great last night - never been a favorite of mine but he has been terrific here.

Also agree that Valentin is as bad as Ana Let. Not too long ago, I thought he was an unappealing dolt incapable of strategizing in order to decimate those he was angry at. Though helped by his sister as well as Ana Let, he was the needed piece to pull the machinations together. And Niecie, I was shocked he didn't make the introductions last night and then leave. I hated his furtive glances between the sisters.

I am very worried for Inaki! I hope he makes quick work of disposing with Orlando. Wow, did I really just say that??? My concern is not with Orlando. It's for Inaki getting even more blood on his hands and for the world of hurt Javier and their father is in for.

Really looking forward to the recap Sneaky!

Diana

Daisy, my same thoughts with Rat'n Ram. He has not had a molecule of love from the man in his entire life, and now finds out he is a major heartless criminal who has hurt his friends. His 'emotional' goodbyes to Rat said it all, he never hugged him he was never good enough, he never had a kind word....etc. I would have been "Shit what a mess..Burn F__ker, I know where you are headed". t

Oh, Valentin will definitely be made to suffer at the end. I'm not sure that I want him dead unless it's a slow, painful one. Like cancer.

I suspect that Ramiro will end up being the one to figure out the scam. He might also be the one to intimidate Tin into fessing up his involvement. What would make that better would be if SantMarc were also there to help. Valentin would never be able to stand up to the two of them.

Or will he? I still sometimes wonder whether he is faking paralysis.

Urban I have thought the same about faking the paralysis too. But in TNs don't they usually give us some little itsy bitsy tiny clue? I thought that might have been our clue when we saw him that one time sitting on the floor drinking, as it didn't seem to serve any other purpose.

toa

Diana, good comment about Iñaki. I completely left out Orlando. He, Iñaki AND Valentīn need to go along with Ana Leticia. Anything but a car accident for those four!

I've got it...

Ana MeMeME's Karmageddon should be to end up disfigured -- it doesn't matter how -- and to spend the rest of her life in a manicomio with large mirrors on all the walls.

TOA, I thought that, too, but he said later that Clawdia was there that evening. However, we didn't see her there so I'm prepared to believe he was lying about that.

Daisynjay: "All Llora has to do if go home and listen to Abue go one about the wonderful reunion" yeah, but what are the odds of that? These people don't communicate well at all.

I liked Viri's visit with Soledad, because Soledad admitted to being a kidnapper. She's still justifying herself. Actually, when she said that AnaLu was a gift sent to her by her mother and her daughter, I think that will be the very thing that gets her off the hook with Ernestina - because it will be as though AnaLu was a gift "from the family."

Hey TOA, glad you apparently still have 'letricity.

Regarding my theory that the triplets' accident may have been provoked - the main objection seems to be that a post-accident investigation would have revealed tampering with the car. True (if there was an investigation). But there's another possibility: tampering with the road. A patch of oil on a tricky curve, or a sudden glare in [Ignacio?]'s eyes as he rounded a corner. Facky is waiting by the side of the road, sees the familymobile coming, phones (or maybe radios) Ev, Ev puts something on or in the road, or aims a mirror at the driver, whatever.

Farfetched? Oh yeah. Too farfetched for this TN in which a lost triplet is found and raised by her lost great-aunt, loses her memory and eventually falls in love with her lost BIL who has also lost his memory? Hellz no.

I finally saw the ad for Vino last night. I like how they played on the memory of Destilando Amor by saying "Destilando veneno!" - distilling venom. Awesome. Still not sure if I'll watch, but I'm tempted. Soto looks like the sleeves of his shirt are stuffed with bowling balls.

I echo everyone who is frustrated with AnaLau's slow maturation path and disgusted by Valentin. Watching AnaLe and Valentin working together to undermine Ramiro in AnaLau's eyes was painful.

This novela could be easily wrapped up in four more episodes, maintaining the suspense that has made it one of the better (if pretty far fetched) ones IMHO.

Instead, every scene will be dragged out and new complications will ensue. The last two episodes will be the kickers. Until then, I fear that we are doomed to more AnaLe, Valentin, Facundo and Orlando shenanigans (notice how I leave out Inaki, Jarifa? He's a reactive bad guy but getting worse, I fear.), long dialogues, and ardent shouts from Viewerville to get SantMarc to the hospital for that brain surgery.

I did enjoy the scene between Ernestina and AnaLu. The pretense and confusion fell into a more forthright conversation as AnaLu tried to explain her love for Santiago.

I've finally caught up last night!

My first thought when Oily came after Inaki was that Inaki was going to have to sell his car again in order to pay off someone. I think it interesting the better the car the worse the crime!

I'm so tired of the writers playing AnaLlora for the fool. I know she is suppose to be sweet, sensitive and the most sheltered but come on. I was sooo hoping she would see thru AnaLet or at least be skeptical and try to throw AnaLet off her game. I fear poor Ram is going to have to deal with his father's death all by himself now.

I am tired of hearing Sole's explanations and I don't understand why Viri is so wrapped up in trying to help her.

Poor AnaLucia is overwhelmed with all of the love that Ernie was giving. I was disappointed that Lucia didn't ask about her parents or want to see family pictures from when they were alive. I know she feels guilty about her relationship with Santi and how that may affect her relationship with the family but she could have feigned some interest about her parents for Ernie's sake.

Angelique Boyer is such an excellent actress. We have seen her successfully play a unique personality with each of the triplets. Plus we have seen her to a "fake" personality of each sister when trying to impersonate Laura and Lucia. But then she all so subtly shows Ana MeME shining out from her faking job as the other sister. I am waiting for Ana Laura to figure out she is not speaking with Ana Lu, but instead realizes her selfish sister Ana MeMe is trying to fool her. Or maybe Tio will call her while still at that restaurant and tell her that the real Ana Lu is with Abue right now. I just want Ana MeMe to be so exposed for her evilness! But all in all, Angelique Boyer has done a fantastic job with these parts.

I loved David Zepeda's part when his father died. You know that children do grieve very much even for a bad parent. When you have a bad parent, you spend your life hoping that they will change. When they die, all hope is gone and it's very difficult because you know your dream of having a good relationship with the bad parent is gone forever.

Oh someone said that David Zepeda's acting has improved maybe because of singing. Well in a way, singing is using acting talents. In order to sing well, you have to play the part and put the emotion into it.

Carvivlie, I don't think Ernestina is worried about that and that time will come. What is more important now is for Ernestina, Ana Lucia, Leonor, and Mariano to find out what a sociopath Ana MeMeME really is because all their lives are going to depend on it. Viri, Clawdia, Chana, and SoleBad know. SantMarc and Ramiro know but their personal issues at the moment are getting in the way. Inaki knows but his own crimes are catching up to him.

It may occur to him that one payoff might not get them rid of Oilando, in which case Oilando is a Dead Man Walking.

Cynthia: "When you have a bad parent, you spend your life hoping that they will change. When they die, all hope is gone" How true! I thought Zepeda was great in that scene.

For the moment, AnaLaura is taking the fake AnaLu at face value - but let's not assume that she'll be gullible. The conversation isn't over yet. We've seen before that there's a limit to how long AnaLet can feign being someone else. (She quit pretty early when she met Valentin as Ana Laura. She had more luck with Marcelo, but couldn't resist the urge to brag to Ana Laura afterwards.) Hopefully, AnaLet will slip up before their meeting is over.

On the other hand, if she actually does find out afterwards that AnaLu was with Ern all along, I'll enjoy that very much.

Or if, as Cynthia suggests, Tio calls while she's still at the restaurant, I'd love to see Ana Laura keep a straight face and start asking the fake AnaLu some tough questions. :)

Urban, I think Oilando will get killed tonight. I doubt Inaki intends to give him a cent of his own funds, much less sell his precious car. It'd be different if AnaLet had brought Isidro's money, but she's too "busy" and likely too greedy to share anyway. If she shows up at all, it will be to help Inaki whack Oily. (And "helping" doesn't really sound like her, does it?)

Inaki probably feels now that he's killed twice, a third won't make much of a difference.

Oh oh, one other possible thing - she could dangle the money in front of Oily and say it's his, but only if he kills AnaLu. He's stupid and desperate - he might go for that. (I still think she'd kill him afterwards rather than give him the money, though.)

Other subject: Does anybody besides Rem and Fac know that Evaristo is dead?

Julie, I think Inaki is setting a trap for Oily. It just seem that way because Inaki was so, "oh yeah, I'll meet with you, come and get it!"

Julie Thanks. I am on the other coast and except for the sun not being out, you would never know. No wind, no rain, gassed up the 4 wheel drive for nothing.:-)

Urban, it just feels like AnaLucia isn't doing a lot to uncover the past or embrace her new family, to learn about them. I guess she is still wrapped up in dealing with her crazy present. I've been waiting so long for her to be reunited with them I guess I'm ready for her to settle in!

Considering that Ern was expecting AnaLu that day, I'm surprised she didn't have Leonor dig up a photo album or something like that.

I wonder if they got around to cleaning out the storage room and throwing away all the kid stuff. I bet they hadn't gotten to it yet.

This episode seemed unusually long and slow last night. I agree that some scenes were too long, particularly the Val/AnaLau/"AnaLu" scenes. I knew right away that Ana Leticia was tricking her sister. There was just something about her behavior and mannerisms that made you know right away that it was her. But clearly AnaLau didn't suspect a thing....yet. I don't like this alliance between AnaLet and Valentin. I can't believe Val still takes pleasure in hurting AnaLau. Whoever does AB's makeup certainly has gift in making each triplet have her own unique style and look.

Like you all have said, I was impressed by DZ last night as well. He has always been better at playing villains BUT he's getting a lot better at playing the good guy. I'd imagine the character of Ramiro must feel conflicted about his father's suicide. Regardless of how Edmundo treated his son, Ramiro still loved him.

I don't blame AnaLu for feeling uncomfortable about meeting Ernestina. It'll take time. She obviously has to get used to calling her "abuela", calling Mariano "tío" and calling AnaLet and AnaLau "hermanas". Her anger seems to have made her accept that Sole isn't her mom. I hope that everyone tells her more about her parents though.

I'm glad that Sole told Viri the truth. I think Viri deserved that much since she has been a friend to Sole.

Probably not, but that should have been done years ago.

It would be great if Ernestina called Ana Laura now to get her home. Ana MeMeME could be so busted in her impersonation.

I'd have Ernestina ask her where she is:

E: Where are you, Ana Laura?
ALau: I'm at XXXX. Valentin and I went for coffee.
E: I'll be right there, dear. Just wait for me. I have a surprise for you. [click]

They'll get there in a few minutes before Ana MeMeME has a chance to leave. Chana would be with Ernestina and Ana Lucia and Ana MeMeME would be unmasked. Prelude to a catfight.

Enjoying all the comments. Agree DZ did a fine job.

On to fashions, I'm trying to remember how fake AnaLu dressed for her reunion. Real AnaLu was in simple shorts, symbolizing I guess that the trappings of wealth mean nothing to her. Fake AnaLu's outfit seemed jumbled, but I can't remember it. Viri's wrap dress gets a thumbs up from me.

Come to that, Ernestine could call AnaLaura, say "I have a surprise for you," and put AnaLu on the phone. Not nearly as satisfying, but much simpler...

Ernie should take a selfie with Lucia and send it to AnaLaura

All of these would work; the look on Ana MeMeME's face would be priceless. And we have Mariano as a witness since he was the one who brought Ana Lucia to Ernestina's home.

Now that Ratmundo is dead Facundo is the only person who knows that Evaristo is dead. Rodrigo and SantMarc are the first being told of Ratmundo's death. This will be interesting.

Sigh, really Uni? Was it necessary to have us relive that scene? It was incredibly sad, I was holding my mom & sobbing like a 2 year old! David Zep was phenomenal, you actually felt his pain.

I hoped that while Deadmundo was packing the money, he also planned to pack the Gina file. I wanted Ram to look down at the desk, and find something --anything that would link his dad to her murder. Now, I think it'll come down to finding Ev's diary or hearing it from Fecal-man (who may or may not know about it).

My mom was wondering which was which, but like you TF, it was pretty clear which was the fake. The mannerisms were very different.

Llora needs to learn skepticism. Isn't it odd to her that Tin would arrange a reunion with only one person, rather than the whole family as Ramiro would have done it? And as much as identicals are alike, you can always tell a slight difference in each one. I'm surprised she didn't recognize AnaLet. The writers are getting lazy.

We rejoiced at Leo's comeback, love that she actually has some spine! Unlike a certain triplet.

I'm really getting tired of Marc's sourpuss mean face. Everytime he does it, I want to stick an emoji on my tv. I wish they'd tell us what is exactly in the documents that they find incriminates Fake-man.

Niecie, thanks for mentioning the clothes. I appreciate that AnaLu likes casual clothing, but I was thinking she has much nicer things that she could have worn to see her grandmother.

As for AnaLet's fake AnaLu outfit, I didn't get a good look. I tried, but either I missed it or we were denied a good view. The hair and makeup were perfect, though.

She wore too much makeup for AnaLucia but the hair was spot on. I didn't think the outfit was too far off considering some of the thrown together looks Lucia has worn.

Julie and others, AnaLetMeImposter wore a Dale Evans outfit with the hem raised about a foot. Lots of hanging down fringe-like stuff from the little jacket and skirt. Mostly in a darker beige with some contrasting white or lighter with patterns in blocks or blotches.

toa

It could have possibly even been culottes.

t

Dale Evans doesn't really sound like AnaLu's style, but I guess it's a lot closer than what AnaLet usually wears. She'd better burn it when she's done with it, though, because if anyone finds it, hilarity will ensue.

Part of me wonders if Ana Lucia wore the shortest and smallest thing she could find, in a way to one-up Ana Leticia in case she saw her. Probably not, I think her wardrobe is simply as frivoulous & carefree as she can be. AnaLet seems to put more thought into the care of her face & clothes. Ana Laura does too, but with the purpose of NOT bringing attention to herself.

Anyboogiewho, I've got dinner plans so will probably miss tonight's epi. Hopefully, a recap is up for me to catch up tomorrow. Night folks :)

Sole always thought Analu was a gift from God and her mama in heaven, she didn’t care about the reward Analu’s family offered, she loved her ect.ect. ect.

Part 2

Well, Julie, she didn't have Roy and Trigger in tow, but it reminded me of Hollywood's concept of what cowgirls supposedly wore. Or maybe a "cowgirl" outfit from Party City.

"A cowgirl outfit from Party City" - ouch. Yeah that doesn't sound like AnaLu to me. Her outfits are usually not so... derivative.

Sneaky, thank you! Another fun recap. ". . . Dum, dum, dumb." says it all. I guess I am ready for the end of the novela. : )

Thanks, Sneaky!

Interesting - AnaLaura and FakeAnaLu didn't hug, did they? That's kinda strange, no?

Thanks, Sneaky. Sue knows Sole was a good mom but boy howdy did she [Sole] make a big boo boo. -- too cute

Gracias, Sneaky.

So now that Rodrigo knows that he had been used to launder money what can he do? Will he end up doing time and losing his fortune because of that?

Will everybody end up stony-broke and having to work in the circus? How long does it take to sort out things like this?

With only about 12-13 hours left to this we still have to deal with SantMarc's brain tumor... or will the writers cop out and say it was a misdiagnosis?

His brain tumor is going to be non-malignant, and it turns out he is actually growing a second brain, which he donates to AnaLLaura.

Thank you, Sneaky. What a great and smart summary! I laughed at the "doom to dumb" ending passage. I hold out hope, based on the terrific commentary today, that AnaLau escapes from this trap through her own smarts or the intervention of a phone.

I wonder if AnaLet wears perfume. And AnaLaura thinks to herself, what a coincidence, AnaLu wears Poison too? Hey wait a minute... I bet that's no coincidence at all! You're not AnaLu!

What would be cool is if there's something AnaLau knows about AnaLu that AnaLet doesn't know, that trips AnaLau up. That almost happened when AnaLau mentioned Sofia. I know AnaLau can't know very much, but maybe there's some other little factoid. Maybe even something AnaLau remembers from all those years ago.

I also have to mention a little thing I've noticed, both when AnaLet was faking as one sister and then the other. It's a sort of half-smirk, no not a smirk but maybe more like a grimace? With just one side of her mouth. She never does that when she's AnaLet, and neither of her sisters do it either, but AnaLet has done it during both of her impersonations, which is really funny.

Seriously, AB deserves every award in existence for these three roles. Best actress, best actor, best supporting actress, best supporting actor, best guest performance, the whole enchilada. Maybe some extra awards too, like best gaffer and best best boy and best key grip, too, because the acting awards alone won't do her justice. It's hard to believe that it's just one person.

Also (sorry, I seem to have a lot to say today), extra thanks Sneaky for managing to pack so much into your recaps. You always keep them snappy yet thorough.

Ana Leticia's "AnaLucia" makeup was too heavy.

Ana Lucia should not have worn booty shorts to meet her grandmother.

We have the following villains who need punishment and only 2 weeks left of show:

Ana Leticia
Claudia
Inaki
Orlando
Facundo
Valentin
Soledad

Ramiro needs to let Ana Laura fight for their love.

Julie this in no bull. I was watching and for a brief moment I caught myself thinking "Now is that AnaLet pretending to be AnaLu or is it actually Ana Lu just (acting) as if AnaLet is impersonating her?" And then my brain came back from it's potty break on another planet and I told it...Ummm..."It's all the same gurl....duh."

Thanks Sneaky for another great recap!

Thanks, Sneaky for your concise recap that cleared up a lot of things for me,,,and with your own brand of humor. Did you coin the names "Old Flame," and "Fecundo"? They perfectly describe the characters.

"Analu tells Abue how she was the other woman in her sister’s marriage, but she didn’t know Santi was married when they met, wee’el sorta she did, but not really and she does want to explain. Abue loves her anyway and is not disappointed and they can get over all the stuff together, right, and they’ll never separate again, right?" Another example of Abue not listening..."

Anonymous said- "His brain tumor is going to be non-malignant, and it turns out he is actually growing a second brain, which he donates to AnaLLaura." Love it!

Excellent Sneaky!

"Ramiro’s dad kills himself. Again" was my favorite but laughed at "Doom Doom Doom. Or should I say Dum dum dumb.:" Simply great.

Ana Lu is totally bewildered and unsure how to react to any of her newfound family.

When Ana Laura realizes her sister played her, I hope she loses her cool and goes ballistic - verbally dressing down her sister and calling her out for the lying, manipulative little murderer she is. Now, that I would like to see.

"Orlando calls Inaki who chides him for beating up his little bro and pretends he totally does have the money right there and sets up a meet for the payoff". There was no doubt Inaki was furious Orlando assaulted his little bro and I believe (and hope) Orlando will not darken our screens after tonight. Wouldn't it be great if Val had done something to provoke Inaki? We might have been able to get rid of 2 loathsome characters in one fell swoop.

Sneaky, great fun as always! Thank you.

Diana

Thanks everybody

I agree that AB did an amazing job of portraying BadAna portraying Analu I hope she's having all kinds of fun with this job. I was really wondering for a minute there which was the real Analu. I'm not as observant as Julie, I missed the grimace.

Virginia Old Flame is mine but Fecundo was somebody else's idea (thank you whoever you are, sorry I can't remember)

Anon207 re the booty shorts, Abue doesn't bat an eye at BadAna's underwear on the outside outfits so I doubt Analu's clothes are gonna make her so much as pause.

I still have a soft spot for wheelchair boy, I don't wanna see him die. Also I don't want to see Inaki kill anybody else, I'm hoping BadAna does Orlando in.

The saddest part is that NO ONE is thinking about Ana Laura.
The moment Tio found out about Ana Lucia, followed by everyone else in the family... not one of them thought they should call Ana Laura (who was away for the weekend, but seriously, it's not like she went to Australia or somewhere else 24 hours away) and notify her IMMEDIATELY.
Even when they called her about Abue being sick, instead of leaving her mortified about Abue's health, they could have also said, 'by the way, good news, Ana Lucia is alive and we've seen her'.
Even effing Abue has been unforgivably selfish. We haven't seen a single scene of her thinking about telling Ana Laura.

They're all like, 'oh well, Ana Laura has waited years to see her sister, she can wait a few more days'. NO, YOU DON'T WAIT TO TELL HER THE BEST NEWS SHE'LL EVER HEAR! You call her and tell her!

Previews tonight showed some nice trigger work. !

Just watched Friday's episode. All I can say is WOW! I know it will be a while before Jardinera can take this all in and write her recap. I'm relatively new to this blog, so I'm not sure how this works, but I hope we can have a way to comment until the recap is up. Really looking forward to your recap, Jardinera.

Surely Ana Laura MUST realise soon that she hasn't met the real Ana Lucia. All it takes is ONE conversation with Tio or Abue... unless Ana Let is planning on kidnapping her, working with Tin? I don't understand what MeMeMe is planning here, but if AnaLau goes back to her house, she'll realise it was all a lie.

Everybody who hasn't seen the preview at the end of Friday's episode, WARNING - don't watch it unless you want a spoiler.

And this is a spoiler-free zone.

I am wondering whether Ana MeMeME is still planning to kill Ana Lucia. If she isn't found out to have impersonated her she might. If not she will have something else in mind. Keeping in mind that Evaristo is dead (and she still doesn't know this), whom can she get to help her? Is Inaki going to get smarter and avoid her or get whacked by Oilando? If Valentin isn't faking his paralysis what can he do?

Two out of three of the good men know what's up, but Ramiro will be down for the count. And he will have trouble getting Ana Laura to listen to him when he finally gets to talk to her.

Urban: I would think anything they show in the regularly scheduled show is not a S P O I L E R

Anon@10:52 - Up till now, I've had no issues with the previews, but in IMHO they gave away too much in the preview for Monday's episode. Not officially a spoiler since Uni has aired it, but definitely lousy judgment.

This last preview definitely gave a ton of info away. Most I have seen in awhile.

Yeah, we are so close to the end, I was actually glad to see the 'spoiler' because earlier that night it had gotten so tedious and boring I stopped watching and did other more interesting things. But to tell the truth, I was shocked too. Then I thought "Well I can't miss Monday, cause there is something to look forward to."

I would take a 30 second preview over 40 minutes of Valentine and his pet ro...er..um AnaLaura. But Neicie, I do agree 100 percent. Maybe it IS because we are so close to the end. Hmmm..wonder why Nandicta calls them LoonyVision? :-)
