La Dona:

Anticipating all-out bloodbath by AG's cronies against Saul's parents, Margarita, Lidya, Monica, etc.,

SILVANA – JUEVES – Parte 1 de 2

Antonio José continues berating Majo. He asks if she left Andrés at the altar for this tipejo (little punk). She tells her father she didn’t marry Andrés because she didn’t love him and that’s it. When he persists, she finally admits she didn’t marry Andy because she was in love with Vicente.

Lucha and Andrés are at the airport. They start out like two “nerds” talking about medical stuff, donations to the village where he’ll be staying. He talks about how to get these things and she teases him about tus palancas (having pull or friends in the right places). His flight to Acapulco is called. [His village must be in the state of Guerrero.] Lucha is trying to hold it together, but she ends up running back to tell him she loves him. They kiss. She tells him she’ll wait for him.

At the church Jorge and Angie are amazed that Margarita has just wished them the best for their relationship.

AJ sort of comes apart at the seams. He says he’s running out for some fresh air. He says he doesn’t recognize his children.

Speaking of the church, it’s a very strange looking one with some sort of Aztec designs on it. Poncho and Dominique are fussing outside because the bride isn’t there yet.

Trini thinks the bride’s gown is quite ordinaria. [She just never disappoints, does she?] But Don Benito has definitely noticed how pretty Génesis is, and Trini’s nose is out of joint.

Lucha comes home from the airport and hears a tiny bark.

The interior of the church is as weird as the outside. Looks like an auditorium with some odd glowing colored panels. Jonas proceeds to bore the crap out of all the guests, giving a sermon and emitting various alabados. He loses his train of thought talking about Light My Fire by Jim Morrison of The Doors. [Uh, Jonas, I don’t think ol’ Jim was talking about a heavenly spirit.] Génesis has to bring him back to the matter at hand.

Stella rushes into the church yelling: “Nooooooo!” She says she’s come to stop the wedding. Dom faints. Stella tells Poncho he can’t marry Génesis. Poor Génesis sobs and tells Poncho to make her leave. Stella says he can’t marry Génesis because he loves her. Poncho tells her to cut it out; she never gave him any hope. Let him get married. The whole church starts prompting Stella and she finally spits it out: “I love you too!”

Lucha discovers Pedrito with the little Yorkie. He tells his sister the whole story of Fluffy, finding the owner online, and being afraid the police are coming for him.

At the church there’s some rather thoughtless applause from the guests when Poncho tells poor Génesis he can’t marry her and he and Stella run out. Jonas and, I think, some of her siblings chase the two into a park. Stella and Poncho hide in some playground area and kiss.

SILVANA – JUEVES – Parte 2 de 2

Pedrito wants to keep Fluffy, but Lucha says they need to give the dog to Poncho and Dom and let them be the ones to contact the owner.

Manuel and Chivis talk outside the church. Nothing really changes about their relationship. He says she abandoned him. She tells him how much this is hurting her. He kisses her cheek and lets her go.

Stella and Poncho come to their old house. Dom joins them. Jonas and the boys are banging on the door, threatening to break in. Thankfully Jonas doesn’t have ammunition for his gun, although he waves it around. Stella calls the cops and Jonas and the young men run off.

Vicente tells Lucha about the failed wedding. Apparently Manuel told him what happened. He tells his sister that things may not work out with Andrés and his being so far away. He goes on to tell her about how AJ found them kissing and raised hell.

Vicente then tells Lucha: María José tiene un ligero retraso. She laughs out loud and makes the sound of an idiot babbling. She tells him: “You finally realized this!” [This is a play on words. Un retrasado can mean a slow or mentally retarded person.]

Vicente tells her he means un atraso en cosas de mujeres, and Lucha gets it. She’s appalled. “You didn’t use birth control?” He says he did, but sometimes those things have defects. He realizes this is serious, but says where there’s love, there’s always a way. She asks him what they’ll do: marry? He says that, if it were up to him, he’d marry her this very second, but María José has to convince her father.

Lucha warns Vicente to be careful. She might listen to her papá and send you to freír aspárragos (literally go fry asparagus or to go jump in the lake.] Vicente winks at her and says ¡Chiquín! [This is a new one for me. Anyone?]

Chivis and Angie come home and Majo tells them about the Fat Toad’s scene upon catching her kissing Vicente.

La Doña 23

AG pretty much throws out any proof Felipe might of had complete with some conversations now in his phone, he made a bad mistake trying to rape her, here's the deal, she wants Felipe to publicly retract everything he said about her, admit to being an alcoholic, and give up his political seat.

Rafael talks about the monkey photo with Emiliano, he did some stupid things, but when he came to the city he never saw them again, yes, Leticia has seen the tattoo, (but I'm not sure if he still has it) would I be able to hang around the people I do if I looked like a gangbanger?

Yesenia tells Regina she has read Lazaros cards but never saw this coming, the doc lays it all out for them, and the MRI confirmed it, they can't operate just meds for now, has maybe a year to live, and since Laz is demanding to leave he will have to tell him, and does, he still wants to leave but will do the meds at home, and no one is to tell Monica.

AG tells Braulio about Saul being a suspect, can't let him go to prison for something I did, gives the job to Braulio, she wants no surprises this time.

Rafael shows up to see Felipe, should have hired me he says, we would be relaxing having a drink right now, and further sinks any hopes Felipe might have, edges him toward taking AG's deal, can't hide the evidence/bodies forever.

AG overhears secretary Tania asking Monica about her dad and has her come into the office, writes her a check, throws in she won't have to be bothering Saul for things, and ask what he is so busy doing, and also about her mother.

Isabel tells Diego about the car, he tells her he was offered money/gifts to go out with her too, she has a plan, they will pretend to be novios.

Saul and Lopez arrive at Miguel's shipyard and pose as technicians there to check on the security system, but Braulio beat them to it and the Videos have been erased, Braulio back at the office tells AG he was just in time, there were two guys there nosing around, AG calls Saul tells him she wants to see him, forcing him to reveal he was in Veracruz.

Val is nervous over AG's plan with Felipe, she will be the judge that sentences him, Leticia calms her, Val ask about her and Rafael, is it like you work for him, no, no, we are partners, same goals, on the same team, she loves him, but... it's like there is a part of him I don't know.

Emiliano is home smoking some weed and sketching the tattoo when Isabel and Diego walk in, she is curious about it but he flips it over, nothing, and gets some more weed, Isabel wants to try it, Diego will take her deal if she doesn't.

ah but Saul asked if there is a backup, oh yea, and the security guy brings it up and leaves Saul and Lopez there to check it out, bingo, there is AG with Miguel.

Felipe shows up to do the interview, totally defeated.

Laz is worried because the doc said there might be complications, he no way wants AG to know about Monica, Yesenia asks to be alone with Regina and spills to her another reason for AG not to know, Monica and her mother are in love with the same man, Saul.

Monica will cash the check tomorrow, hides it in the cupboard the beans, looks in on her dad, he's crying, what is it, oh nothing.

Regina is home and so is AG, and so is Yesenia, to AG's dislike, Regina says you need to hear her out, it's about your daughter.

Silvana sin lana:

Thank you as always for the recap, novelera.

Now that you've mentioned it, though, it was damn odd for the wedding audience to applaud Stella busting up Poncho's wedding--but, then, it was already weird when everyone started calling out for Stella to tell Poncho she loved him. Let alone that it was taking place in what looked like a small, grimly-purple-lit auditorium. (On a strictly superficial note: Genesis looked amazing in her wedding dress. Benito called that one exactly right, and ticking off Trini in the process was just a bonus.)

Maria Jose being the next-to-last of the Villasenor women to develop a spine and stand up to the Douchebag of the Universe, if in her flightly chirpy way, was nice to see. Conversely, Manuel and Silvana's nth "We can't be together, and this sucks" conversation...as much as the story irritates me at this point, it's entirely Maritza Rodriguez and Carlos Ponce who are managing to save it. Whomever did casting for this show lucked the hell out.

SILVANA

novelera - Thank you for the recap, the translations, and the snark!

I will definitely make time to watch this episode, if only to see the "church", Jonas' weird sermon, and Genesis' dress. (She's always been a nice, decent person)

Well, at least Majo is busted and finally admitted to the Fat Toad that she loves Vicente.

I "Googled" chiquín and this site has something that makes sense to the context in which it was used, though I'm not sure about the validity of this:
http://www.soylaneta.com/nombre/chiquin/
"El Significado del nombre CHIQUIN es:
C - Es un poco loco(a) y caprichoso(a).
H - solo visitas hoteles de lujo con gente respetable
I - Es muy Fiel y entregado(a).
Q - un gran negociante
U - Le gusta mucho reir.
I - Intenta conocer a su familia
N - muy sexy "

I wonder what the English CCs say. I'll be sure to turn them on when I watch.

Andres still has not left? Gah. They're really dragging this out Makes one wonder if he'll really get on that plane. Either that, or we'll be 'despues'ed as part of the Por Fin.

SILVANA

"as much as the story irritates me at this point, it's entirely Maritza Rodriguez and Carlos Ponce who are managing to save it. Whomever did casting for this show lucked the hell out."

Bill C. - Estoy de acuerdo! If not for the casting of Manuel and Silvana, I would have bailed on this telenovela ages ago. They've got great chemistry, great acting in the roles, both are very nice too look at, and Carlos Ponce is my new telenovio. ;-)

Silvana:

Doris: The fat toad LOLZ!

LA DONA:

Rafael obviously burns the photograph from his days with the Monkey & encouraged his son, Emiliano to forget about it.

Silvana

Muchas gracias, novelera, for yet another excellent recap. I very much appreciated your including some of the Spanish, and I loved your asides! As for "Chiquín," I too tried to find a definition, but I failed. At first I thought that doris had found one. However, I think that what she found was simply the site's positioning the word vertically and using each of its letters to start a statement. The statements seem to have nothing in common and very likely nothing to do with the actual meaning of "Chiquín," whatever that may be. Oh well...she found more than I did.

So is Génesis simply going to be left devastated? I think she deserves a better fate.

I might add that I agree with Bill C and doris about the excellent performances of Maritza Rodríguez and Carlos Ponce. Indeed, Carlos Ponce's inclusion was what drew me to the novela at the start. I'd never seen Maritza Rodríguez before, but I'd seen and liked Carlos Ponce in the novelas Santa Diabla and Dame Chocolate, as well as in all those State Farm commercials. There were a few actors in Silvana that I'd be interested in seeing in a different sort of role: those who play Stella, Margarita, Dominique, Don Benito, and AJ. I confess that I winced almost every time Stella appeared, but I think that's the effect she was supposed to have. I'd esp. like to see her (Marimar Vega) use her considerable talents in a very different sort of role.

La Doña

Thanks yet again, deb, for your illuminating recap. There's so much I miss that your recaps provide, and this one was no exception.

So both Leticia and Emiliano know about Rafael's tattoo. I can't imagine him doing either of them in, but it looks as if they may be a danger to him down the road. My guess is that one of them will be responsible for Rafael's undoing, perhaps unwittingly.

Silvana

Just in case anyone missed the announcement, there's no Silvana tonight. Next episode will be on Monday.

La Doña WILL be shown tonight.

SILVANA:

novelera- Thank you so much. You got a good episode and made it even better.

I too was confused why everyone was cheering on Stella and Poncho in the marriage hall. It made no sense. Plus, it was extremely cruel to Genesis, whom I felt so badly for through that whole scene. I think she actually dodged a bullet in not marrying Poncho, but she didn't in any way deserve to be treated so cruelly.

I thought Trini had a nerve first criticizing how Genesis looked in her dress (hard to make that girl look unattractive in anything); then making snide comments about "these people" never being able to pull off a wedding (forgetting that her own nieta left her rich fiance stranded at the altar); and then calling Jonas a thug for the way he went after the man who dumped his daughter at the wedding (forgetting that her son-in-law, and actual criminal, has been yelling at, intimidating and bullying his daughters' boyfriends, just because they're poor). The hypocrisy of this woman is astounding.

LA DONA:

Deb- Great recap! Oooh, what's Saul going to do now that he knows AG who was one of the last people to meet with Miguel? He's got to realize she was the one behind his disappearance now.

I think Emiliano with either leave his sketch of the Monkeys tattoo somewhere AG will find it, or he'll get the tattoo himself as an homage to his father and AG will see it when he's over at her house hanging out with her niece. She'll freak out either way.

LA DONA:

I can't remember the wording, but there was something in the way Rafael spoke about his tattoo in the past tense that made it seem like he's had it removed at some point. But I can't be sure. We need to see him with his shirt off.

La Doña: Sorry to be so out of the loop, but how much does Rafael know about the whole Miguel murder in the basement? Is he even aware of AG's lifelong thirst for revenge? Or was it just a youthful "prank" that he's brushed under the rug?

And thank you again, deb for filling in all the details.

LA DONA:

LXV- Rafael knows NOTHING about Miguel's murder, AG's rape (the fact that she was the girl his gang raped 20 yrs ago), or that AG is on a life-long quest to find and murder her rapists (the Monkeys). This is a secret only AG, Regina, Yesenia, and now Braulio (purely by accident) know.

La Doña: Thank you Vivi. That's sort of what I thought. So then, there is some speculation that he may have been the "good" rapist who let her get away? Sorry to be so dense.

La Dona:

LXV: The more Saul & Lopez keep digging, the more dangerous AG's cronies will get & I'm getting a vibe Lazaro might be in the crosshairs.

Yesenia: She's going to open her big mouth sooner or later.

Regina: Little does she know that she's in danger too!

Isabela: Stupid girl does NOT have a freaking clue.

Monica: Rafael's hostility towards her is foreshadowing something deadly. I'm worried she might not be among the living.

Margarita & Lidya: They're in danger too. Especially Margarita based on the ugly conversation she had with AG.

SILVANA

So, bodus interruptus #2. LOL

HOW can Lucha be sitting at an airport departures gate, in this post-9/11 world??? Qué the hell??? ( My telenovela beanie hat got misplaced over the holidays.)

Stella, doing the most sane thing she's ever done (finally breaking thru her denial that she loves Poncho and not Manuel), even wore a sane outfit today. Will wonders never cease?

When Dom first arrived back at Stella's house, post-wedding, I thought he would say he's the ghost of bodas past, but he did not. Bah. Humbug.

Now that I've watched this episode, the "chiquín" I found (and posted above) definitely does not fit. At all. The English CCs were no help, either.
The way Vicente winked, it seemed more like he was saying "ka-ching", as in "yeah, I won the jackpot/lottery with Majo, eh?" Whatevs.

LOL moment of this episode was Jonas taking off when the police arrived at Stella's. The English CC's had him saying "I'm blacklisted with them!", referring to the cops. There's got to be a story behind that!

Vivi - Spot on with your comments about Trini!!!

Silvana:

Doris: I'd like to slap Trini super hard for her buji-ism!

Silvana

Thanks for the recap, novelera! So many interrupted weddings in this TN. Poor Genesis. She really deserves better. I'm glad we're finally done with Margarita and Stella being annoying. Now if only Trini would just shut up and be nice for once.

doris, I thought it was odd too that Lucha seemed to be near the gate but I think they mentioned that Andrés still needed to go through security. Though it was unrealistic that his plane was already boarding at that time. Like anyone could get through security that quickly at Miami airport!

Why did Jonas wear a gun to his daughter's wedding??

SILVANA

Juanita-marimar vega has been in some pretty popular Mexican novelas like mientras haya vida and amor cautivo in which she was the lead protagonista I think you should check them out, she's very versatile that's why I was very surprised she could act this role cuz her other roles were very different

Olise

SILVANA--
novelera--Thank you for the entertaining, spot on delivery. Your words just keep pouring out. I guess that's why you are known as novelera, n'est-ce pas?

We wondered before as to why Trini gets so much screen time (ageing, formerly popular actress who probably called in some chits to get the part). But last night was ridiculous. She got more up in our faces than usual as opposed to the one brief, but heartbreaking, tender scene between Chivis and Manuel. 'Cmon folks, gives us a little more to hang onto.

Yes, Genesis deserves better than to fade away from the scene and our minds, and she did look beautiful in her wedding dress.

About the gun in Jonas' suit pocket. Any guess is probably right. Early on we pegged him as a fraud, leeching money off believers. This pretty much seals it for me, especially when he ran from the police. Were those two guys his sons or his bodyguards? Hmmmm.

Silvana

Thanks, Olise, for letting me know about these other novelas that have featured Marimar Vega. I'll keep an eye out for them.

La Dona:

Juanita: Felipe's political career ends in disgrace!

La Doña 24 (1/2)

Saul is positive it is AG, Lopez not so much, it's a grainy picture, Saul downloads the video.

Yesenia's news for AG, her daughter is dead, the accident Lazaro had that left him crippled killed her, and Laz is back to reclaim what you stole from him, Regina confirms it but AG doesn't believe a word, or does she, her eyes are teary, I gave her life, AG tells Regina after Yesenia was kicked out, not my fault she died, I didn't even know her name.

Laz is breaking down, he doesn't want any treatments, Monica is lifting him up, she wants him to be there when she marries and walk her down the aisle.

Monica tells Lidya how happy she will be when the treatments work, takes some soup to Laz, he's not hungry, wants to talk, why are you working at AG's office, ah Yesenia told you, no when the reporters/cameras were there for Felipe I saw you and Yesenia confirmed it, (does Monica believe him), but Laz is sold on Yesenia, and doesn't want Monica breaking with her, and Monica wants to know why Laz hates AG so much.

from the shipyard Saul and Lopez drive to Miguel's house, break in for a look around, Lopez doesn't think they will find anything after the police have been there, but Saul explains how rapists have certain habits like having a stash of keepsakes from their victims, as they are checking out his model boats Lopez notices something in the base, it opens and there are a pile of newspaper clippings, one on Margarita, and other girls, and there is one on a foundation for abused women not from here but in the Capital run by Daniel Llamas, what's the connection Saul wonders.

Regina goes on about if AG's daughter were alive, you'd want the best for her, right?

things are tense at the tv station, Felipe is warned not to go off script, (why are they doing a live interview) Rafael calls AG, lets her know Felipe is defeated and obedient, she turns on the tv.

Felipe delivers, he signed the papers, Leticia makes it look like everything is his fault and AG is totally clean, he renounces his political seat with the explanation that it was based on honesty with a good wife by his side, but because of alcohol, it all went dark, he is no longer fit for the job, AG at home claps.

Regina just won't let it go, but finally gives up, she is glad AG's daughter is dead because she would have died of shame meeting her mother.

(does AG care about her daughter?) she goes to the bat cave and talks to her mother's picture, and so wishes she were here to comfort her.

La Doña 24 (2/2)

it's morning

Diego goes to his dad who is in the middle of his morning workout, and tells him he is now dating Isabela, Braulio is so proud of him and after he leaves for school forces his sweaty self on Valeria who dressed for work.

Isabela spills she is dating Diego, Regina is surprised, you don't even like him, but I don't hate him she says, and it's pretty clear she is doing it to appease AG.

Regina calls Felipe, and says she knows how he must feel, no you don't he says, the press is hounding me and the party won't answer my calls, what did AG do, how is she blackmailing you, he won't say, only to be very careful with AG, you don't know what she is capable of (pretty much what everyone says that knows the true AG)

AG wants to know who Regina is talking to, is it Lazaro, she wants to go see him and quizzes her about him forcing Regina to lie.

Monica is off to the hospital, the girls are worried for her, no problem Gabino is going with her, and runs into Yesenia outside, she's upset with her, but Yesnia blows through the same story her dad gave her and Monica promised him she would not argue with her, so lets start anew, as Gabino appears, Yesenia remembers the cards warning her about a uniform man, and doesn't like his aura as well, he's happy to be spending time with Monica, as Saul also appears, they leave, and he chats a bit with Yesenia who points out what happened to Felipe for falling in love with AG.

at the hospital Monica is going to put down the check for Laz's treatments, finds the doc, they hug, not to Gabino's liking, oh but the doc thought they had told her... and gets real quiet, what?

La Dona:

Deb, my thoughts:

1.) Not surprised that Felipe's political career ended in disgrace, being framed for the prostitute's murder, etc.,

2.) Yesenia maybe bad, but she's obviously right about Gabino's evil intentions regarding Monica.

3.) Regina: WATCH YOUR BACK!

4.) Braulio & Valeria: OJ & Nicole 2.0 no commentary needed in this one.

5.) Saul & Lopez investigating the Monkeys, what could possibly go wrong ?

6.) I don't think we've seen the last of Ximena, y'all know she's coming back down the road.

7.) Diego dating Isabela (who's not that into him) will have ramifications.

8.) Anyone want to bet Emiliano gets a Monkeys tattoo ?

9.) Who's Isabela's father ?

La Doña

You never disappoint, deb. Muchas gracias for another marvellous recap.

Last night's episode really seemed to up the nail-biting elements. I was at the edge of my chair through most of Saúl and Lopez's investigation at Miguel Preciado's house. And I was nervous as well when Regina kept asking AG how she would feel/act if her daughter were alive. Geez, Regina, after living with AG for all these years, are you still blind to how smart she is, how good she is at picking up subtleties, and how insanely cruel she can be?

Speaking of smart, how long will it take for such a guy as smart as Saúl to put together the pieces re AG? He sees that she met with Miguel in Vera Cruz (and lied about it to Saúl), he knows that Miguel is a serial rapist and killer, he strongly suspects that AG was abused years ago. Duh.... And, of course, Yesenia points out that Felipe shows what happens to people who fall in love with AG. Earth to Saúl, Earth to Saúl, come in, Saúl.

I've commented many times, deb, about your wonderfully evocative use of language. A good example from last night's recap is your description of Braulio's brutal treatment of Valeria: "[he] forces his sweaty self on Valeria who dressed for work."

SILVANA

J -
ITA that there is no way Andres could get thru TSA in time to make a flight that is "boarding." I've never been to the Miami airport, but in all the airports I have traveled, I've never heard boarding announcements outside the TSA area. Perhaps only in Miami, or else Telenovelaland? Ah, well, it served the story and that's all that matters. ;-)

La Dona:

Juanita: Yesenia does have a point. She needs to WARN Saul that he'll end up the same way Felipe is: disgraced & reputation destroyed.

Even Saul's parents have warned him about AG!

Don't get me started on Braulio (the violent domestic abuser & RAPIST) & Valeria.

Does Valeria even have family members like siblings ?

SILVANA

Thanks, all, for the kind words about the recap. I love it when I learn a new word. I had no idea what palancas meant and needed to look it up. Despite the at times frustrating plot, I have found this novela to be a gold mine of metaphors and dichos.

So, many of the annoying people are moving into the "good guys" column.

Now that Fat Toad knows about both his daughters' Gallardo boyfriends, I am expecting some developments about what he did with the money Steve's rich boss gave him. We know he got the house back. We don't know if he did anything else to get that investment to grow so as to have something to show the guy. In a 10:00 novela, he'd be bumped off by the cartels for a drug deal gone bad. I'm suspecting prison time instead of death. This is, after all, a comedy.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!! I'll be spending the evening at home with a seriously expensive bottle of champagne. At my company each employee gets some cash in a Christmas card. Since this is found money, I feel no guilt about splurging on really good champagne. And, of course, in Northern California, the New Years Eve tradition is cracked crab and sourdough bread. I'm having that as well.

Happy 2017 everyone from Paranaque, Metro Manila, Philippines!

Happy New Year!!! All the best to this wonderful community. Novelera- Your New Year's tradition sounds wonderful. I hope you enjoyed the champagne, crab, and bread and had a ball last night.

LA DONA:

Thanks so much, Deb. I missed this episode, so I really appreciated your great recap.

So, they're lying to AG that Monica is dead. Regina is a terrible liar, so I think AG will figure out the truth soon.

How is it that AG doesn't even know Monica's name? She was pregnant when she met Laz, so how did she manage to steal his company and kick him out so quickly (since Monica was still a little baby when it happened)? I need more clarity on the timeline.

Silvana:

15 days before the NIGHTMARE ends & I'd like to see major anvils hit the correct people including Trini & AJ.

La Dona:

Vivi: AG & her cronies are GOING DOWN sooner or later!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE 🥂

La Doña

Vivi- if I recall correctly AG had sex with Lazaro once to sell him on being the father and then rejected him while feeding him alcohol and in one of those drunken times had him sign over to her the company and then kick him out.

(and later kicking out Yesenia as well)

Friday night they showed the birth and AG had them immediately take the baby away.

LA DONA:

Thanks for the timeline, Deb. I didn't see the episodes with those particular flashbacks. It still seems like a big stretch to me for a teenager to go from innocent rape victim, to seductress, to scam artist, and managing to foist a false paternity on and marry a man, drive him to drink and ruin, steal his company, and drive out of town with a newborn baby in his arms, ALL within a few months?!

La Doña

ah but Yesenia was running the show, she didn't get the boot until AG no longer needed her.

LA DOÑA: Gracias a todos for all the comments. I've been having trouble keeping up wth the schedule. I agree Regina is a terrible liar, but despite her weaknesses, I have a hunch she will acquit herself heroically somehow before this is all over. I keep looking for cracks in AG's veneer. In retrospective moments she seems pathetic (as in pathos).

Happy New Year to all wherever you are, California, Philippines, New Jersey, wherever!
