Vino el Amor, Wednesday 12/21/2016; Chapter 37

David is having a chat with his wisest friend Cesar. David shares that he has come to the realization that he has to let go of Luciana. Cesar says he really should have a talk with Fernanda about his feelings and maybe little by little things will change. But David says he can’t do that. However his feelings for Luciana are just so very, very, strong, it just drives him crazy! So he has to learn to let go of her. Cesar asks why he just doesn’t talk to Luciana about it. David responds that it’s not going to amount to anything. He’s never met a woman like her, she challenges me and he’s a little afraid of that. But David admits he’s VERY much in love with Luciana. He admits also that Luciana changed his life forever and for that, he will always be grateful. But he can’t expect Fernanda to change her mind very quickly and he can’t expect Luciana to wait for him forever.

Lilian and Brian are having lunch together. He tells her that what happened with Marcos and Luciana in the past must remain their secret. Lilian tells Brian that he just has to make the right choice, being with her. He can no longer see Marta if he wants her protection. If he doesn’t show up on Sunday for her, she will understand he made the worst choice of his life. (Sounds like a threat to me!)

Bobby comes running up to Luciana as she is sitting and reading in front of the employee’s house. “Luciana, Luciana, I need your help! I promised those bullies at school some soccer shirts autographed from Christiano Ronaldo. And if I don’t give them the shirts, they are going to keep on bullying me and worse.” Luciana says, “Let’s go to talk to your dad about this.” Bobby says, “No, he’s just going to scold me.” Luciana says, “No, your AUNT is going to come through with what she promised!”

Luciana and Bobby enter David’s home and finds DisGracie walking by. “Oh just the person I need to see,” says Luciana. “And now what do you want, Luciana”, says DisGracie. “If this is about David, I’m not interested in talking to you.” Luciana says, “No David is a big boy and he can take care of himself, it’s Bobby that I’m worried about. It seems that you promised him those special soccer autographed shirts and if you can’t come through with it, you’ll have to deal with me.” DisGracie says, “You are no one around here. Who do you think you are! Bobby and I already talked and everything is alright. Isn’t that right, Bobby?” (Bobby shrugs his shoulders.) Luciana says, “Well Bobby is not alone in this. Either put up or shut up in this matter!”  David walks in and wants to know what is going on. DisGracie “Ask your employee, she just came in to yell at me about your son.”  Luciana explains to David that Gracie promised these shirts to Bobby and the bullies at school are continuing to bother him. Now Bobby is very worried. “I am not going to allow that anything bad happens to Bobby.” Luciana goes on to explain that there should be a permanent solution to these problems not a temporary one. He shouldn’t be promising things that might not be able to come through with. David says that Luciana is right about this.  You can’t just make promises you can’t keep. Luciana then compliments David and says Bobby has a great example in his father.

Sonia walks in with a box, announcing that this box just arrived for DisGracie and it’s from Spain! You can tell Grace is just as surprised as everyone else but still managed this smug look on her mug. DisGracie opens the box and says, “See, the shirts have arrived!” Luciana looks at DisGracie and says, “Well I’m glad they did because if they hadn’t, you would have to face me, and it wouldn’t be pretty!”

DisGracie tells David, “Look how she talks to me, are you going to allow that?” David says, “Enough of this!” Luciana turns around and says she is to defend Bobby and now you are scolding me for it. David says, “I just don’t like all this arguing.” Luciana finally says to Bobby, “Hey, I’m glad the shirts that your aunt promised you finally arrived. Let me know how things go at school.” Luciana leaves, but David takes Bobby aside and says that this is not the way to make friends. The only reason they are receiving these shirts is because he promised them and he is just following through with a promise. Bobby turns to DisGracie and tells her he doesn’t like her fighting with Luciana because she is his best friend.

Miguel and Tano are in the warehouse cleaning up. Tano mentions that he spoke to a lawyer and the lawyer told him that things are quite complicated because Mark has accused him of things that Tano never did. But Tano is not afraid. Miguel says he should be because Tano could end up in jail and how much help can he be to anyone if he is incarcerated. Miguel asks about Susan and Tano says things are just too difficult right now. But there is someone else who seems to like him and maybe if he gets with this new gal, he can forget all about Susan. Miguel says, “So who is this girl?” Tano says (under his breath) “la señorita Fernanda.” Miguel says, “WHAT DID YOU SAY????” Again, Tano says, “La Señoria Fernanda!” Miguel shakes his head in disbelief.

Miguel says, “Are you serious? If the boss finds out about this, he will KILL you! Stop asking for more problems!” Susan then walks in and asks Miguel if he found the notes she left on the counter. He goes to get them, Susan starts to follow, but Tano grabs her. He kisses her for a moment and she pushes him away and then takes off, saying, “Excuse me.”

Later that evening, Sonia and Leon go out to a bar together. It’s kind of awkward as they both try to walk through the door at the same time. Sonia looks very uptight and says she doesn’t dance. Leon offers her a drink, but Sonia says “water”. Leon talks her into something stronger, so she decides to have one little beer. They toast their bottles and Sonia does a “bottoms up” and chugs the entire bottle. He offers her another and she accepts and downs the whole thing. Finally Sonia has loosened up! She says, “You know Leon, it really surprised me that you invited me out. But I’m glad you did because I am having such a good time.” Leon says, “Well sometimes I think you are just mean and bitter.” But Sonia says, “You just don’t understand how complicated my job is. I have to be very strict.” Leon says, “Strict is fine, but you don’t have to give off such bad, mean, vibes.” Sonia looking shocked and surprised says, “Bad vibes, what bad vibes?” Leon wants to know why she accepted his invitation to go out with him, knowing how Lilian doesn’t like his family and thought she was the same way. Sonia explains, “I am not like Señora Lilian and most of the time, I don’t understand her, we are opposites.” Two more beers appear and Sonia asks Leon to dance. Sonia ends up pretty drunk and tries to dance on the bar. She starts babbling about love and someday she is going to have it.  Leon decides to take her home.

DisGracie is on the phone with her agent/friend/Lover Joselo. She thanks him for the shirts and says he’s the only one she trusts. He asks about how it goes with her paintings because he has planned an art exhibit for her. But DisGracie says she can’t go to Spain because she has to stay there with the family and all the problems. Joselo says, “Oh no problem! The exhibit is going to be in San Francisco. I thought I could come over, visit, see the vineyard and meet the family!” DisGracie looks surprised and upset, and tells Joselo that it is not a good idea. Joselo counters with, “I want to check up on your paintings. Why don’t you want your family to meet me?” DisGracie says that this is just not a good time. As she talks to him, she’s picking up some of her paintings that she has destroyed in a tantrum.

David is out to dinner with his children and Bobby is talking about the shirts and how he doesn’t like it when his Tia fights with Luciana because Luciana helps him with so many things. Fernanda say, “Are you going to start with this again, Bobby?” Bobby says, “It’s the truth, if we had another mother, she would be like Luciana.” This makes Fernanda angry and wants no more of his commentaries on this. Bobby says, “Dad, you could get married again.” Fernanda angrily says, “Well if you did get married it would have to be to someone just like Aunt Gracie.” Bobby says, “Well an aunt is an aunt and cannot be your mom and your aunt all at the same time!” To which Fernanda says, “Oh Bobby, you are such a little kid! You know nothing about this!” They banter back and forth and finally David says “Enough, stop fighting about this.” But Fernanda, pushing it further says, “Dad, you HAVE TO PROMISE ME that you are not going to get involved with Luciana. Please….NOT HER.” But David says this is not up for discussion. The most important things in his life are his family and the vineyard. But Fernanda won’t let it go. She’s like a jealous wife accusing David of still wanting to be with Luciana. Fernanda wants an answer from David and David tells her that she is wrong. But Ferbrat just won’t let it go and wants to keep arguing. She says that her father needs a better class of woman, like Aunt Gracie.

In the morning DisGracie brings David his coffee to his office and asks how things went with the accountants. David says it went really well and soon the vineyard will be solvent. His idea is to market his wine in Europe and soon the entire world will know all about Bodega de Los Angeles. DisGracie says she will arrange his business trips and she will be glad to accompany him.

David finds Bobby eating his breakfast very early and Bobby tells him he woke up early because he couldn’t sleep. He was missing his mother. David tells him that his mom is watching over him from heaven. David also says, “Hey, what you said, yesterday was that true? Would you really like me to go out with Luciana?” Bobby says, “Oh yes, I think she would be very good for you because makes you happy and smile.” Bobby leaves for school and DisGracie walks in with Juan to talk to David about the vineyard partnership they have created. David hands her the list of the inventory, Juan says she’s caught on to the business very well. But Juan tells Gracie that when she gets a hold of the business profits, that he wants in on it too.

DisGracie and Lilian are talking out in the patio about her plans. She “plans” to not have a problem with Fernanda as she’s going to go off to a university. With Bobby, she’s planning to send him to boarding school in Spain. She wants to be rid of both the kids!

The employees are having breakfast and Leon is talking with the guys about going out with Sonia. Carito says how could he? Sonia gives off bad vibes! Leon says to Carito, “What did you expect from me, that I wait all my life for you?” Upstairs, she cries to Perla, “What’s the matter with me, am I ugly and undesirable? I just found out that Leon went out with Sonia!” Perla says, “No, you mean SERGEANT Sonia?” It’s somewhat funny to Perla, but since Carito is so hurt, Perla comforts Carito, saying, “Pobrecita.”

In the big house, Sonia runs into DisGracie and Grace makes some kind of comment about Sonia being late. Sonia explains she has a headache. Sonia also says, “Someone is here looking for you.” Well who shows up but Joselo! Gracie is more than surprised. He tells her that he’s there for the San Francisco exhibit and wants to see her paintings. She tries to shove him off excuses about all the work she has to do there. He says, “Don’t worry my dear, you don’t have to lie to me. I have everything under control. You can show me the vineyard, I want to meet your little niece and nephew. Oh yes, I also want to meet that brother in law of yours too.” Gracie explains that her brother in law is just unavailable because he is so busy and he will be busy the entire day. “Well that’s okay, I can wait,” says Joselo. Gracie says, “Well I can introduce you to our vineyard’s lawyer, you’d like that right?” So she calls Juan and sets up this phony meeting to have Juan explain about the vineyard business and why DisGracie is so very busy.

Still with her headache/hangover, Sonia serves Lilian her coffee, when Leon comes in behind her, saying excitedly, “Hi Sonia, how are you?” Lil is angry and says, “How dare you enter my house without permission!” Sonia is mortified! Leon apologizes and says, “I just wanted to find out how my friend Sonia is doing.” Sonia gives this shocked look and says, “Friends? What do you mean friends? Just because I helped you out with something doesn’t make us friends.” Leon asks what kind of insect bit her. But Sonia explains this is the home of La Señora and David and he can’t come waltzing in there anytime he wants to. Poor Leon leaves looking sad and dejected. Sonia then tells Lilian that with these employees, you give them a hand and they take the arm. Lilian looks at Sonia very suspiciously.

Lilian calls Brian and she’s saying, “Ready for Sunday, you’d better be ready.” Brian’s phone rings again and it’s Marta. She wants to know if he is going to pick her up at 7:00 on Sunday. (I don’t get this, he’s playing two sides of the fence.)

Bobby brings the shirts to school and gives to the bullies. “Now can we be friends?” The bullies laugh at him and push him around. Poor Bobby!

Fernanda walks through the vineyard with Peter and they see Tano. She tells Tano that Peter has invited her to Italy for his sister’s wedding. Tano walks off.

Luciana tells Susan and Miguel tells the guys they are leaving together for San Francisco and they are getting their work done early.

Miguel and Luciana leave for San Francisco and Miguel is as thrilled as can be. They arrive and Miguel is all over Luciana and wants to tell the whole world he loves her. Luciana tells him she believes that they will be very happy together.

David comes into Susan’s office. She starts to tell him about the thing that happened with the wine and she believes it was definitely sabotage but doesn’t have the proof yet.  Soon he asks where Luciana is. Susan informs him that Miguel and Luciana went to San Francisco, but left all their work finished. He gets really angry and he’s starts saying that he didn’t give them permission to go. There is just too much work to do. David says that he’s tired too and doesn’t go on vacation either. Susan tells him, “Well that’s because you don’t want to go on vacation! You should be taking a break and going on vacation with your children. The vineyard is in good hands” Susan also says, “David, what’s the real problem?” David finally says with a very sad face, “I just can’t stand it that Luciana has gone off with Miguel. It shows me she just doesn’t care.”

Thank you, Cynthia. I was watching "Mercy Street" on PBS last night , so I missed this. i wonder what the story is on Disgracie's "agent." I guess she is Corey that she took her frustration out in her paintings.

I still do not think that Luci and Miguel are going to do the deed in San Fran.

Cynthia, a fabulous recap. Your words always have such a smooth, easy flow and your summaries are always engaging. Great screen shots.

I always enjoy and appreciate your conversation translations. “You can tell Grace is just as surprised as everyone else but still managed this smug look on her mug” was my favorite of many.

“But there is someone else who seems to like him and maybe if he gets with this new gal, he can forget all about Susan”. I don’t believe there is a malicious bone in Tano’s body. I believe he does just want to purge Susan from his mind and he thinks Fernanda is just the medicine to do it. I don’t think he realizes how much Fer cares for him or the fact that he will rely on her to heal his hurt heart while not truthfully fully taking into account hers.

Bobby will learn the hard way that giving bullies what they demand is of no use. David knows what is going on, why isn’t he stepping up and getting more involved? Damn man, if you are using your children as an excuse not to get involved with Luci, at least make an attempt to do so.

I really like Leon. There always seems to be a faint twinkle in his eye. I hope he and Sonia had as much fun filming the bar scene as we did watching it. I admit I fell asleep toward the end but was happy to have missed the scene where Sonia found her inner hautghiness and demeaned Leon in front of Lil.

At this point, I am only mildly interested in how Brian is going to resolve his double date booking.

Susanlynn, I don’t believe Miguel and Luci will be intimate either, simply because it would further complicate an already difficult situation.

Cynthia, thank you!

Diana

haughtiness. Sigh.

Diana

Thank you Cynthia! Missed it last night. Good recap, I feel caught up!

This caught my eye: "David says, “Enough of this!”" I'm kind of thinking that about Bobby and his bullies and the shirts and Luciana and Gracie bullying each other.

Interesting twist to have Joselo book the San Francisco show. I assume with Miguel and Luciana traveling there for the weekend, we are setting up a location shoot for the whole gang.

Hmmm, are Leon and Sonia a thing for real? Heh!

I actually feel more vibes between Fer/Tano than I do grown woman Susan and Tano so I'm ok with his shift here.

Great work Cynthia, big thanks.

"smug look on her mug"

What a pleasant surprise, Joselo.

I don't like Luciana much at all. She's rude, presumptuous, spiteful and has a California sized chip on her shoulder. It's funny but she and Fernanda have much in common.

You know Bobby, Luciana is better suited as an older sister not a mommie.

Painful to watch David make a fool of himself over this young girl.

If Luciana and Miguel don't San Francisco while in San Francisco I hope it is she that pulls the plug and not an outside influence. I made a Luciana size miscalculation ONCE. Felt enough pain that never happened again.

What a hoot Perla referenced Sonia and Leon with tall and short hand gestures.

I'm so disappointed in the Lilian character. Azela Robinson is wasting her talent here.

What a great recap Cynthia. Days before Christmas? Busy Girl, Thank You so much.

I think the most enjoyable is seeing Grrrrracie squirm. Both she and Brian are painting themselves into corners.

Brian/Marta/Lillian/ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Tano/Sooo San/ZZZZZZZZZZZ

FerBrat will soon be 18 years old. WooHoo then she will be FerBITCH.

Leon is dumber than a box of rocks. Sonia didn't want him slapping her on the ass in front of Sata...er..Lillian, nor did she want to reveal that they went out and had a good time. She delicately tried to derail him, and when he was too stooooopid to see her signals he left her no alternative than swatting him like the annoying insect he is. Live and learn Scooby Do.

Excellent, Cynthia.

Nothing about DisGracie surprises me anymore. This intent to get rid of David's children is Standard Operating Procedure for succubi like her. Bobby is close to having her number so in her mind he has to go. In fact, this bullying experience he just had will provide the perfect excuse.

Although she now has other things to worry about, like regretting destroying her most recent work during a childish tantrum when there is a gallery display pending.

David really needs to step up for Bobby. He needs to talk to the school administration, then the parents of those bullies. Those boys must be consequenced by the school and their parents.

FerBrat isn't too old to spank, either. That is what she deserves for her nasty attempt to make David promise he won't pursue Luciana. What he should have done in that restaurant scene is tell her to let it go or they will go home. He should deny her permission to go to Italy with Peter's family.

More later.

UA, I agree agree agree. FerBrat is a little witch in training.
On another note, I remembered Joselo telling DisGrace earlier that he could not get the shirts. Then FedTn shows up with them, WTF? do they assume we can not remember from one episode to the next?

UA, I suggest you send your action items for David to the writers :)

Kirby, yes, inconsistencies in the shirt procurement for sure :)

tofie, hub has seen the last few episodes and (having been away from TNs for years due to over the road travel) asked me who the actress was playing Lili. I told him that she is really a wonderful actress. I realized that I was having to explain as he wasn't impressed. It's not the actress, it's the character. Agree that she has been stellar elsewhere.

Diana

Yeah Diana if your husband saw Azela as Josefa in Yo No he'd understand.

Isnt it interesting tbat Lilian is not bothered by Disgracie's plan to ship off her grabdchildren. Most grandmas love having their grandchildren around them. Lilian and Disgrace have hearts of stone. Sad to be them. "In the end the love you take is equal to the love you make." these two will reap what they have down. For DIsgrace..Death or prison for killing her sister.

Azela Robinson excels when she plays slatterns like Josefa. I've never seen her play anyone who has class. Her British sounds artificial and I suspect that her English is better when she's conversing in the real world. What she does in this series smacks of affectation, which is likely to be part of the character.

She was wearing a peasant blouse in this episode. WTF? I can't imagine Lillian wearing that when such a blouse is far more typical on a servant.

Regarding the statement about her grandchildren, the sad reality here is that she doesn't give a flying damn about them. Lisa may have been her favored child, but that was because she did what Lillian expected of her, which was to marry a man with position and money. Right now the children can be seen as David's reason to go on living and achieving, which is not what Lillian wants. She wants to fleece him and get away.

Notice how she refers to the main house as "my house." It's not hers and we hope it never will be.

So, FerBrat is almost 18? I know the actress is actually 20 but her character seems more like 15 going on 11. If she's almost 18 then David has about a year before she goes away to college, at which time he can marry Luciana and make himself happy. FerBrat will have a tantrum first then have to learn to suck it up.

Yes, an episode or two ago there was a discussion about FerBrat's upcoming 18 th birthday party. They did more about it than just a mention, so i believed they had a plot reason for it.
Sue and Tofie: Every time David talks about Luci I think I hear Percy Sledge in the background........"When a Maaaaan loves a Wooooooman"

Kirby...Ahh..Percy. I keep hearing THe Every BRothers " Love HUrts." Now there is a tear jerker. Dave, however, needs to man up and get proactive. The whining and moaning is getting on my nerves. Wake up, Dave, and do something instead of complaining to people. Cesar is a saint for listening to his endless whining. P.s. DId that sound harsh? As they say around here..Yeah, well !

Urban, I totally agree with the pretentiousness of Lilian’s character. Since we are talking about songs here, I’m reminded of the Elvis song, “You ain’t Nothin’ but a Hound Dog” where he says, “they said you were high class, but that was just a lie.” That is Lilian, she pretends to be “high class” but I think she comes from poverty and married “up” when she found Fernando. Of course she is psychopathic, so she has no real feelings of love for anyone, she uses people and lovers for her own advancement. She could care less that her daughter wants to send her grandson away to boarding school in Europe. Normal grandmothers would object to grandchildren being sent off far away. But this character has no real grandmotherly feelings. She is only living there and pretending this is her house because it was her deceased daughter’s home. I don’t know why David allows her to say it’s her house when it’s HIS HOUSE. She is only a guest all she does is give orders. I don’t know why David doesn’t see through her, most men would see it and tell her to go find her own house. But, she probably has no money, so she is pretending to be the queen of the house and living vicariously through her deceased daughter’s place in life.

Yes, I did hear on the show that Ferbrat was going to be 18 soon. So she will be away at college, doing the college thing, joining a sorority, etc… so she should forget all about her father’s love life. Isn’t it funny how young girls object to their fathers remarrying? I see this all the time with single fathers. It is the daughters who can’t stand the thought of their father remarrying most of the time, no matter how nice the woman is.

Cynthia: Fernanda (Aranza 2.0) will NEVER change until big anvils hit the spoiled brat in the Gran Final.

Thanks for a lovely recap, Cynthia. Sonia suddenly going full lush pretty much stole the show from Susan's tank top (OTOH, Tano finally admitting he's a little sweet on Little Miss Jailbait Fernanda right before that means she just might be free to save Cesar from Graciela after all).

Luciana and Miguel sneaking off to San Francisco? I think I speak for us all when I say we're literally just waiting for her to put the brakes on their intended sexytime for whatever convoluted reason that doesn't have David's name in it.

And, UA, come to think of it...
Azela Robinson excels when she plays slatterns like Josefa. I've never seen her play anyone who has class. Her British sounds artificial and I suspect that her English is better when she's conversing in the real world. What she does in this series smacks of affectation, which is likely to be part of the character.

Considering Azela Robinson has third billing on this show (and I won't even lie: my latent crush on her was the reason I started watching this somewhat fakakta show), I'm continually surprised--if somewhat pleasantly so--by the swerve that she's not the chief villain of the piece. She's not even a tertiary villain right this second, unless you count her keeping Sonia and Gutierrez firmly under her thumb. All that said, I do think she's doing a good job with what she's been given here--but I agree in that it's just not anything terribly noteworthy apart from her getting to bust out the English accent, which sounds both quirkily affected and aristocratic, and the odd facial expression. Maybe when it comes out that Lilian indeed whacked her husband for cheating on her with Marta (I'm assuming) she can move further to the forefront of the show...

Bill C: FerBrat, Graciela, Lillian & Gutierrez have the Deborah Sanders Effect!

OK. Let me jump in here. If David were bright enough to dress and feed himself, which he has not shown himself to be, he would be thinking, "Yeah, Ferry I love you, but you are heading off to college, or in some other way becoming an independent adult, and THEN I'll catch up on my boinkin, as you will be preoccupied with other things."

And it would not be underhanded, or sneaky, or anything other than seeing the reality of the world clearly. As things are now, almost grown teenage daughter would shag one of Daddy's field hands and not bat an eye, but Daddy is not allowed to shop in that same store.

This is the second time we have seen Sonia cut loose with the benefit of spirits. We are led to believe she likes anything from shoe polish on up. I wonder how they are going to work that in. I do love me some Sonia. But boy, talk about Jekyl and Hyde. She is just so dam entertaining in her quirky way.

FerBrat seems to have the very mistaken notion that they are bluebloods. No such thing in the USA and their money wouldn't be old enough.

She should be shipped off to a convent school.

yes, Cynthia, I have seen cases of daughters pressuring their divorced or widower fathers into breaking up with girlfriends. It seems to happen more with daughters than sons. I have a friend whose wife died at the age of 35, and he was dating someone he met online in a few months. His son was fine with it. I have also seen guys who break up with women with young children because they do not want to deal with children. Sad.

Kirby: Sonia has the buji-ism & uppityism in the genes.

Leon should NOT end up with anyone since nobody likes him.

Carito will end up with Peter (if FerBrat will ever give him up).

I'm thinking Sonia is bipolar!

Diana: I'd like to see the deeper angle with Graciela's mysterious friend from Spain.

Thanks, Cynthia. Great job. I missed it last night.

I think I'm the only one that likes Fernanda. She's bratty, but not evil. If her abuela and tia weren't egging her on and her dad would put his foot down, she'd be okay.

So sorry I missed Leon and drunk Sonia together.

Thanks for this recap, Cynthia, and thanks to dy77 for yesterday's recap. I'm all caught up now... hopefully I can watch the show tonight.

What's with Sonia wearing glasses around her neck? She's too young for reading glasses.

Steve: what, pray tell, is the Deborah Sanders Effect? What'd I miss this time? :)

And my prediction about San Francisco: they don't do it, because Luciana will be upset about something that Miguel can't cheer her out of. (My first thought was that they'd be interrupted by a phone call from Marta, but the fact that Graciela has an exhibit in SF the same weekend makes me think they'll have a run-in.)

I think Peter is such a nice kid, he needs someone who will appreciate him. Seems like everyone in this novela is mismatched with someone that isn't right for them.

I think Vino is pre-empted tonight with a soccer game. I saw a commercial saying catch up with it on Friday.

Thanks everyone for your compliments on my recap. It's always fun. :)

"What's wrong Baby? " Slurp, Smack, slobber slobber.
"We are sooo happy to be in San Fran." Drool, Chomp, slobber some more.

"Oh Miguel, I wanted this weekend to be perfect for us."

"Oh Luci but it is, we are together, and I luuurve YooooU." Snarf, snort. "Here"
"Whoa, not so fast, Charlie Brown."

"Huh, what did I do?"
"It's not YOU, it is ME." "I was for sure going to give it up, look I even brought these shorts that are even shorter than the ones I tend the grapes in."

(Panting like a Labrador Retriever) "Well what's wrong?" Belt buckle is beeping now.
"I just saw that billboard of Graciella, that bitch is having an art exhibit down the street."

"Yeah, yeah, the shorts?"

"Oh, I want it to be perfect, and I would be thinking how much I hate her, instead of thinking of you, you understand, don't you?"

"Do I need to, Luci?"

After Urban's Goat Eyes, every time DisGrace opens her mouth, instead of her words, I hear Bwaa...aaaa..aaa..aaah. Look in the Android Play Store for Goat Sounds. She is number 3.

Bill C: The Deborah Sanders Effect is someone, who's ashamed of their Latino heritage & will go pretending to be Anglo while denigrating fellow Latinos in order to prove to your friends that you don't associate yourself with "those people" in terms of illegal immigrants, etc.,

Self-Hating is still alive & well.

As there was no show last night, I would like to wish our valued recappers and commenters the happiest of holidays!

May all your hopes and dreams come true.

Wishing all of you peace, happiness and good health throughout the New Year!

Diana

Diana: I'm in the Philippines spending Christmas with my In-Laws here in Paranaque.

Foo, no episode last night, and I can't watch tonight. Thanks again for the recaps... I couldn't follow this show without them. (Yeah I could watch on Hulu, but then I'd always be a day behind. No fun that way!)

Cynthia, I want to add my thanks to those you've already received. Happy holidays.
Helen
