LA DOÑA Thanks Halimacandy & Steve for keeping the conversation going. I agree that Regina's got some 'splainin' to do if she hasn't done her conjugal duties lately. But I get the feeling, she doesn't give; he just takes. But what about Lopecito's wife? Poor deluded thing. I feel sorry for her.
LA DONA:
Lopecito's wife is a harpy. One episode she came to his office, started shrieking at him about being good for nothing, except for the fact that he's a tiger in bed. She was demanding that he come home to take care of their son, since she was going out partying with her girlfriends. The impression given was that she henpecks and criticizes him at every turn, while not appreciating that he supports them on his own (she doesn't work) and is a loving and caring father. She's only just started being attentive now that he's said he wants to leave her. I think it was wrong for Lopecito and Valeria to start an affair while both married, but neither of their spouses is a winner.

LA FAN #15 Monday 2/6/17
Lucas tells Vale that Rodrigo likes her. Vale tells Rodrigo that she only loves Lucas and yes, Lucas told her what he said. Rodrigo is mad that Lucas told Vale. He threatens Lucas that if he so much as touches Vale, he will tell the truth about the "fan farce" and Lucas will be without Vale, his fame and his career.
There is to be a party celebrating the 100th episode of the telenovela. Due to a venue cancellation it is to be held at "Aquel café" which is Eloísa's cafe
Rodrigo and Tomás agree that they cannot stand Lucas. Rodrigo does not want to see Vale hurt like his mother. He thinks Tomás should get in between Vale and Lucas. Tomás tells Vale he does not want to go to he party because Lucas will be there. He tells her to choose between them. She should marry Gabriel. Vale tries to explain love. The kid does not get it and hangs out with Rodrigo and Gabriel at the party.
Diego tells Adriana that he gets it: she is the president and he is a maintenance man. Later they are both in the elevator together and they end up in a make-out session. Afterwards, she tells him that they need to forget it because it never happened. He tells her that there is a security camera so there is a record of what never happened. They go down to the security office and review the recordings until they find theirs. They watch it and erase it. When they go to leave, Benicio is looking for Adriana so they stay in the office and end up making out again. Earlier, Benicio tells Diego to quit and tries to apologize to Adriana but to no avail.
Ignacio is an old friend of Carlos and is Benicio's father. Carlos tells him about finding Eloísa when he was tracking down an employee who is involved with Adriana. The employee is Eloísa's son.They both think that Benicio is perfect for Adriana so Carlos will try to keep the employee away for Adriana. Ignacio comes back later but Carlos is gone. He is also an old friend of Felicitas. He tells her that Carlos has found the mother of the child she hid from him: Eloísa. He tells her that Carlos never loved her. She has always done everything for her love of Carlos.
Carlos López had gastritis not a heart attack. Eloísa says he is home and alone. Miguel decides he needs a girlfriend. It seems he wants one with Miriam's qualities but not Miriam. Miriam tells Eloísa she is in love with Miguel. Eloísa will help her win his heart. Jessica could be interested in Gabriel but she is distracted by Diego.
The party is a success. The paparazzi are there. Carlos stops by and touches base with Eloísa. When Lucas arrives the "Lucas Locas" go crazy. When he kisses Vale, Salma, Gabriel, Rodrigo and Tomás look on in disgust. As Salma and Lucas are interviewed, Gabriel asks Vale if she has realized that the world of Lucas is made of lies, just like him and that he does not love her.

I don't think they care as long as she doesn't marry a "tipo" like Diego. He's perfect for her and they have great chemistry, but because he's not of "their" class, her father won't allow it. He probably doesn't see or doesn't care that Benicio is just a climber and doesn't care anything about Adriana. Just her wealth, power and status, which he'll no doubt try to gain for himself.

Thanks so much, Jarifa! You know what's funny? We've already met Benicio's dad, Ignacio before. He was in earlier office scenes with his son. Obviously forgettable, because we forgot who he was last episode. :) Anyway, I was surprised that Felicitas confided in him about Carlos' love child, and he's kept the secret from his BFF all these years. What's his motive for keeping quiet? I wonder if now that he knows from Carlos that Adriana is having a thing with Eloisa's son, he'll assume that Diego is her brother (Carlos' love child)? Will he tell Benicio?
Loved the elevator and control room makeout sessions.

I was SO glad that Gabino didn't end up raping Monica, although the experience was plenty traumatic enough with the violent way he fought with her and forced himself on her. (They should have called Alvaro to come check if she had a concussion.) What an idiot Gabino was to not realize Monica would recognize his eyes through the mask. And now he has those shiners from Saul's fist too.
I kept expecting Saul's mom, Ximena or AG to walk into Saul's apartment and find Monica half naked from the shower, or sleeping in Saul's bed, and jump to all the wrong conclusions. I don't know why he and Monica felt the need to keep her attack secret.
Rot in peace, Colonel. AG was not going down that night. Liked the perfect touch of having him die looking at the pictures of AG's parents and boyfriend.

La Fan. Once again, thanks for the recap, Jarifa! Another fast-paced episode in which a lot happens. Lucas seems genuinely upset by Gabe's interest in Vale. I think he does love her. Wonder if he realizes it? Man, that arm around her in the presence of Gabe. What a typical male gesture! Hilarious! And when Salma asks if he's jealous of all the attention Vale's getting, I loved how he says no, because only an insecure person would feel that way. Lol! Why on earth does Benicio even still have a job with Adriana's company after committing a felony? And btw, does the security office have security cameras? :) What a relief about Carlos López! I hope they find someone for him.

I forget which scene it was, but I loved the "Jaws" movie music. Scenes in previous episodes danced around the theme, but today it really sounded like Jaws.

His comments have made her insecure and she talks to Lucas wondering why a man ke him would hVe ever noticed a woman like her. She does not want to find out one day that none of this was real.
Diego and Adriana are still at it starting and stopping in the security surveillance room. In the end she remains verbally non comittal. He tells her he cannot stay away. He wants to get closer.
Felicitas tells Ignacio she does not know what she would do if Carlos were to find out about her keeping him from knowing about his child by Eloísa. She has spent her whole life trying to get Carlos attention. Her predilection for young models was an escape valve. Ignacio could have offered her much more than they. but she never accepted him. She kept hoping that Varlos would notice her someday. Ignacio says now that he has found Lucía, that is not possible. Carlos arrives. Felicitas retires. Carlos tells Ignacio that he went to go see Eloísa but things were so messed up with the show biz people, etc., he may never so back to see her. He does go back and tells her that seeing her has changed everything what with a marriage that has been worse than Chinese tequila. She introduces Diego to Carlos.
Salma tells Gabriel to stay away from Vale until the end of the novela. She is concerned because the success of this novel will determine their future. Gabriel does not want Lucas to end up with Tomás . If he has to be with Vale to be with his son, so be it.

La Fan. Another excellent and incredibly well-organized recap, Jarifa! Quique and the jewels seems a bit of a distraction but may be the kind of subplot necessary to get this fast moving telenovela to 120 episodes. Young male models are a pretty dumb escape valve and way to get one's husband's attention, imho. Yep, Gabe doesn't really love Vale romantically, though he admires her a lot. It is in Lucas'favor that he tries to learn about soccer, and evidently he had wanted children with Lucía. There may be hope for him yet!

The policemen "talk" and soon there is a special announcement on tv that "La fan" is pregnant. Vale sees it with Tomás and Gabriel (who stopped by earliert to hang out with Tomás) and by Lucas and Salma (who stopped by Lucas' to have her dinner date.). Vale explains she is not pregnant to Tomás and shows him the false belly. Tomás blames Lucas and Gabriel agrees.She tells Gabriel the whole truth and he offers to take the jewels out of her house to ensure Tomás' and her safety. Lucas tells Salma the truth. She gets upset and does not believe him. He is worried about Vale alone at her house with the jewels. Fan reaction to "La fan" being pregnant is not good. People think that the contest was false, the romance is false. Salma does not care about that either. Lucas tells her to go. He needs to think of a place to hide the jewels.

Another message: if Salma does not show up on visiting day, Nicolás will make public their past relationship. She finally realizes she has to put in an appearance. She hopes nobody recognizes her.
