Enamorándome de Ramón, #15, Aug. 28, 2017: A Dream, a Score, and a Truce…Just between Friends

Here is the recap, courtesy of RGVChick:

[Previously: Juana and Jorge are in the waiting room while Andrea is in with the doctor. Juana tells Jorge about the appointment that has been set for 5:00 p.m. When Andrea comes out from her session, Jorge worries that she has been crying. The doctor reports that Andrea seemed to remember something, but when she came to, she couldn’t remember (does this doctor not practice confidentiality?). The doctor asks to talk to either Juana or Jorge, so Juana goes in.

Julio is in his office when he gets a call from Noe Manujar who reminds him about his deadline to pay up. Julio is agitated that the man called and tells him it was not necessary. He hangs up and lets his anger out on the phone.

Back at the doctor’s office, the doctor tells Juana that he was surprised how quickly Andrea was able to relax enough to be hypnotized. After asking her some questions about her parents, he wrote down some words (book, ya que?, architecture, Paris) that Andrea mouthed when she was under and asks Juana if they have any significance. The only ones Juana commented on were architecture and Paris. The doctor sees no relationship between the words, so he tells Juana that it’s like a puzzle…it’ll take time (ya think?).

Out in the waiting room, Jorge tells Andrea about Juana’s call from Don Pedro. He comments that Juana will soon know if she can claim the money. When Andrea asks if Fabiola knows, Jorge tells her “no” because Juana just got the call. When Juana and the doctor come out, Juana advises Andrea that the doctor is very pleased with her progress and she will have to return. Andrea nods in agreement.

Osvaldo storms into his home and throws the keys down at his mother. He reproaches her for telling Julio about his trip to Teques, but Virginia clarifies that she only asked Julio if he had talked to him. Osvaldo thinks they argued as always and now he is the one that is suffering the consequences. He goes to get his bag so he can go spend the night with friends who will go with him to Teques. As he leaves he complains that he doesn’t know what his father has against him.

Julio’s secretary comes into his office to let him know that she got the report indicating th
at the car is clear of citations. Julio is relieved that can take the car tomorrow without any problems (and let others suffer the consequences for his misdeeds).

In Miami, Roxana is crying as she unpacks a stuffed animal and hugs it. Agustín asks her not to be sad and assures her that Diego will soon be with them. He wants to talk about what happened at the airport. When Roxana tells him she doesn’t want to talk about it, he insists that he does and wants her to explain how Antonio used her phone to call him. Roxana (partially) confesses that while they were at the airport, she received calls from Antonio. She didn’t answer, but when he called repeatedly, she threw away her phone in the trash. She has no idea how he came to find the phone. Agustín figures out that the man that the security guards were taking away was Antonio. He wonders why Antonio would be at the airport and whether Roxana is keeping something from him (is it that hard to figure out, dude?). Roxana makes him promise that he won’t be angry if she tells him; and he does so because he prefers to know the truth. Roxana lies that Antonio is obsessed with the idea of getting back with her (well, if she wouldn’t lead him on, he wouldn’t be!). After Agustín asks if Antonio knew that she is with him, Roxana’s nose gets longer as she says Antonio did know, but was obsessed and probably wanted to convince her not to go with him. Agustín wonders if Roxana is leading Antonio on, but she denies it and says she only sees Antonio when necessary because he is Diego’s father (and to get some nookie?). After Agustín asks her to promise him that she won’t keep things to herself, he goes to get supper and wine.

Fabiola, Antonio, and Diego walk over as Dalia has her hands all over Ramón while they discuss plans for supper. Fabiola overhears that Ramón will be cooking supper. Antonio asks Dalia to close the shop and as she agrees, she continues holding on to Ramon’s arm. After they walk off, Diego asks if Dalia and Ramón are “novios.” Fabiola quickly says “no” and explains that they are only friends because Juana and Luisa are good friends…anyway they wouldn’t even make a good couple. Diego insists he thinks that they are “novios.”

Roxana call Virginia and lets her know that she is in Miami with Agustín. Virginia is please that she went through with her plan, but Roxana isn’t sure she did the right thing because Antonio has been very nice and attentive lately. When Virginia questions why she went, Roxana replies that she liked the idea of living in Miami and feels good with Agustín. Virginia criticizes Roxana for not yet deciding who she wants, but Roxana confides she is worse now that Antonio found out about Agustín and wants to take Diego from her…and she’ll just die if Diego is taken from her. When Roxana asks Virginia to find out if Antonio does anything to fulfill his threat of taking Diego, Virginia agrees and tells her she will call her, but Roxana prefers to do the calling because she threw away her phone…

Antonio sits at his home having a pity party and telling himself that he needs to get Roxana out of his head and heart when Margarita arrives somewhat late (late enough for Diego to already be asleep). She asks for Diego, but Antonio tells her he is already asleep and offers her a drink. She accepts because she has had a bad day, although she knows his day was worse. When Antonio questions how he could have been stupid enough to believe Roxana and not know about that guy, Margarita gets closer to him and tells him that it’s just the way he is…intelligent, noble, kind, tender handsome…and as she grabs his hands, tells him he is a man any woman would dream of…as her voice fades, they look at each other and kiss.

Dalia and Ramón are at the supermarket shopping for supper when Ramón sees the toy cars. He grabs one to buy for Diego and Dalia wonders if he likes children and can imagine him with his own children. After Ramón comments that he is in no hurry, Dalia thinks to herself, “but I am,” and dreamily looks after him.

Andrea and Jorge are sitting and teasing each other at the Medina home when Luisa comes over to ask Juana if she is ready to leave, but Juana has to stay and asks Luisa to tell Ramón. As Luisa leaves, Fabiola darts in very hungry, but Juana tells her about the meeting with Don Pedro. She hopes everything will turnout well and asks them to go with her. Fabiola agrees, but Jorge wants to tag along. When Fabiola asks Juana if Ramón cooks, Juana confirms it and Jorge assumes he cooks well because he learned from Juana. After Jorge congratulates Fabiola on her marriage plans, Fabiola looks downhearted and wishes everyone felt the same.
Luisa sneaks up to Benito and whispers in his ear that she has been thinking about have a “pause” in their month’s break-up. Benito doesn’t get it and suggests different foods they could have for supper, but Luisa thinks those foods will give them indigestion…she was thinking more in the line of “exercise.” When Benito suggests running a marathon, Luisa gets agitated and wonders if she has to spell it out. Benito’s lightbulb finally turns on and he tells her he got it (finally). He suggests that they go to their love nest.

Antonio and Margarita finished the deed and are kissing in bed (Margarita scored!)). Antonio begs forgiveness because what occurred shouldn’t have happened, but Margarita doesn’t think he should feel guilty. When Antonio clarifies that it should have been under different circumstances, Margarita agrees that it wasn’t ideal, but she doesn’t regret it (because she got what she has been wanting for quite a while). Antonio gets up from the bed as Margarita remains wishing that he wasn’t so regretful.
At their love nest, Benito is snoring when Luisa’s phone rings. Dalia is wondering where she is and tells her supper is almost ready, but Luisa’s nose gets bigger than it already is and she tells Dalia that she lost track of time and prefers to stay at work so she won’t go home alone. After she hangs up, Luisa tells Benito that it’s his turn to call his mom with an excuse, but he already took care of it…he told his mom he had to work a double shift. They smile and go for a second round (now why is it that their nookie music is more comical than romantic?)

Fredesvinda, Benito’s mom, comes over to Dalia’s house to ask for some flour. When Dalia tells her they don’t have any and suggests Fredesvinda go to the supermarket, Fredesvinda tells her she’s already been there and they are out too, but she can call Benito and ask him to pick some up on the way home. She calls Benito who is busy in a “session”, but Benito answers anyway and reminds her that he is working a double shift. After Fredesvinda explains that she has a delivery to make in the morning, Benito agrees to quickly go drop some off…this ticks off Luisa. One night that they have for themselves and he has to go tend to his mom…as always, if it’s not one thing, it’s another... his mother is above everything!

Back at Dalia’s, Dalia tells Fredesvinda that her friend’s cousin in is love with a guy who does not reciprocate (haven’t we heard this before?). Dalia wants to know if the concoctions Fredesvinda makes really work and how much it would cost, so Fredesvinda tells her to send over her friend…before she knows it, the man will be throwing himself at her feet. When she tells Dalia the cost is 400 pesos (she raised the price!) and leaves, Dalia is dismayed at the cost.

Benito is getting dressed to go drop off the flour and tells Luisa he’ll be back soon, but Luisa is still pissed so she calls Dalia and tells her she’ll be going home after all. When she hangs up, Benito tries to talk her into staying, but she leaves anyway.

Margarita is in her own bed when she gets a text. She quickly gets her phone thinking it’s Antonio, but it’s from Porfirio asking if she is still angry. She responds with an angry emoji, so he assumes that she is still angry. She then responds with a sad emoji. When he figures she’s sad, he sends her several heart emojis and she laughs.
Juana goes into Andrea’s bedroom as she sleeps with a big smile. Juana tucks her in and wonders what she is dreaming of that is causing the smile. Andrea dreams of holding hands with Jorge as they spin freely surrounded by fireflies and a bright moon. Andrea wants to know where Jorge is taking her, but he only responds that she will see soon. They look deeply into each other’s eyes then fall to the ground…he asks her if she is ready, but she tells him not to be so melodramatic ….and they kiss tenderly.

Next Morning

At breakfast, Juana scolds Andrea for falling asleep with the lights and TV on. She asks about her dream since she had that big smile, but Andrea blushes and keeps quiet. Jorge insists on knowing what she dreamed, so Andrea covers herself by indicating that she doesn’t remember. Jorge teases her for not remembering so many things lately…or maybe it’s convenient that she not to remember.

Julio takes Fabiola to the shop since he has to get the car checked. Ramón turns to face them so Fabiola introduces Julio and tells Ramón that the car needs to be checked, but Ramón remains quiet. After Julio leaves, Fabiola starts walking away but turns back and tells Ramón they need to talk to each other like normal people. When Ramón signals that he can’t talk to her, she sasses that she has enough signing to do with her sister. Ramón tries to contain himself, but laughs and tells her it was her idea that he not talk to her. When he continues that there are so many things he would like to tell her and she wonders what they are (as she looks at him with her dreamy eyes and a big smile), Ramón tells her that he really wishes her much happiness in her marriage. Deeply affected, she tells him she never thought he would say that…it makes her want to cry. They hug each other like they don’t want to let go; and he congratulates her. When they separate then hug tightly again, Ramón asks her to promise that she will be happy…she nods.

Once in her office, Fabiola wonders what is happening between her and Ramón; she enjoyed the intense hug. Then she reminds herself that she is going to marry Francisco…but whoever ends up marrying Ramón will win the lottery…anyone but Dalia! Soon after, Antonio drops in and she tells him about the meeting with Don Pedro. When she invites Antonio to go with her, he agrees.

Outside, Ramón is on the phone with Juana who is telling him about the meeting and that she is nervous about it. Ramón tells her he will ask Antonio to let him leave early so he can accompany her, but she wonders if Ramón gets along well enough with Antonio. Ramón assures her that there won’t be any problem and wonders where she got the idea that Antonio is not a good person. Juana gives him the address for the meeting place and Ramón tells her he will see her there.

Margarita and Hortensia are having breakfast while Hortensia starts to fulfill her daily complaint quota, but Margarita is off in her own little world. When Hortensia finally gets her attention, she tells Margarita that she needs to talk to Porfirio. Hortensia saw him yesterday and he seemed very negative. She thinks that Porfirio is expecting a loss…and that maybe he wants to lose the case. She reminds Margarita to use her influence since Porfirio only took the case because of her (Margarita), but Margarita retorts that she and Porfirio tried to persuade her not to pursue the case. Hortensia is adamant that the judge will determine that the signatures are false and that Juana falsified them. Just then, Margarita receives a call from Porfirio who advises her of the meeting at 5:00 to hear the report from the graphologist. Margarita is pleased that the issue will finally be over (maybe…if Hortensia lets it rest). Hortensia agrees that her nightmare will finally be over…and Juana’s is about to start.

As Luisa leaves to work, Fredesvinda catches up to her and tells her they can go together because she needs to go talk to Benito. When Luisa asks if he didn’t return last night, Fredesvinda replies that he came by quickly for supper then had to return for a second shift…she feels sorry for him because he has had two sleepless nights.

Osvaldo is at Susana’s house complaining about how horrible his parents are…not like her mom that is so wonderful and her dad who gives her everything she wants. Susana berates him for thinking so well of her parents; her mother doesn’t care about her…she only cares about gambling; and her father just sends her money from New York. When Osvaldo comments that he would be happy with that, Susana tells him that she would like a family who would worry about her …she would like to have a brother to talk to and even fight with, but all she has is a cat…and not even the cat pays attention to her. Since Osvaldo is being apathetic, Susana decides to go for a ride to town.

On their way to the apartment building, Fredesvinda confides in Luisa that she is going to ask Benito for some money for a trip. She needs 5000 pesos, but she knows Benito will give them to her because he has always provided for her…he only has eyes for her. Luisa wonders if that is why he hasn’t married, but Fredesvinda tells her he just hasn’t found the ideal woman. When Luisa queries about what Fredesvinda would do if he did find the ideal woman, Fredesvinda undoubtedly will live with them; Benito wouldn’t be able to live without her chocolate. Luisa remains pensive and visualizes Fredesvinda in a nightcap lying between her and Benito. After she snaps out of it, she scornfully looks at Fredesvinda, but quickly smiles when Fredesvinda turns to her and tells her that she can’t be without her little chocolate. When Fredesvinda turns away, the scornful look returns.
Julio is outside a car dealership waiting for the manager. When the manager arrives, Julio points out some of the car’s good qualities. The manager asks Julio to confirm if he was the only owner and tells Julio that he can only give him 55000 pesos for the car. Julio is dismayed, but accepts the offer because he needs the money.
Jorge and Andrea are walking down a hall at the university when Sara comes up behind them overjoyed that they have settled things between them. She thinks it calls for a hug, so Jorge agrees and tells Andrea to hug Sara because he (suddenly and conveniently) has to go. Sara is bewildered and wonders if it’s just her imagination or is Jorge avoiding her (is she really that dense?). Andrea looks at her not knowing how to react, but Sara doesn’t care how long it’ll take…she knows that someday, Andrea will be her cousin-in-law. Andrea shakes her finger…she thinks not!!

As Fredesvinda and Luisa walk up to the apartment building, Benito spots Luisa, but not his mother, so he quickly grabs a box of chocolates to give to her. He goes out to greet Luisa and show her how much he likes her, but when his mother sees the box of chocolates, she is elated as she grabs the box of chocolates and wonders how Benito knew she was coming to see him. Benito responds that he inherited her “gift.” When Fredesvinda tells Luisa that she won the lottery with her son, Luisa sneers at Benito that his mother has told her all about him and walks away.

Rulo takes a piece of equipment to be switched for a used one to his partner- in-crime (don’t know his name so I’ll just call him PIC for now). PIC is impressed with the quality of the part and estimates he will ask 4000 pesos for it—3000 for himself and 1000 for Rulo, but Rulo doesn’t agree and thinks he should get 1500 pesos. PIC prefers to let the buyer come for it first, then he’ll tell Rulo how much he will get.

Ms. Sonia, a customer, comes to pick up her car, but Antonio tells her the mechanic went to get a part for it. When Ms. Sonia questions why the cost is so high if she only brought it in to check the tire for a noise, Antonio calls over Ramón to explain to her because he has to go answer a call from Toluca.
Julio meets Noe at a restaurant to pay off his debt. When Noe doesn’t bother to count the money, Julio wonders why and Nestor responds that it’s not necessary because this is between gentlemen (that rip off each other). Julio asks for his receipt and when Noe gives it to him and leaves, Julio tears it up.

Ms. Sonia admits that she just doesn’t understand cars, so Ramón suggests that she just learn the basics like checking the oil, tire pressure, etc. When Antonio approaches and asks Ms. Sonia if she is satisfied with the explanation, she confirms that she does, but one normally doesn’t know about these things. She praises Ramón for explaining it so well and asks if he can be the one to service her car. After Antonio agrees, Ramón worries that Rulo was the one fixing it, but Antonio assures him he will talk to Rulo.

Ramón goes to Fabiola’s office. After he goes in, he gives her a long look and she wonders why. Ramón tells her she looks so serious and professional…and confesses that he didn’t think she would take the job so seriously. Fabiola counters that she didn’t expect him to be a good mechanic either…mechanics tend to be ugly and fat covered with oil …but he is handsome. Ramón blushes and tells Fabiola that she isn’t just good-looking, she’s beautiful. Fabiola gives him one of her captivating smiles before she catches herself and asks him what he really needs (lady, if you don’t know yet, you are really naïve…to put it mildly). Ramón, also trying to contain himself, tells her he needs to check an invoice for a part.

Later in the afternoon, Antonio tells Dalia he has to go for Diego and also asks Dalia to stay and close up the shop because he and Fabiola have a meeting at 5:00. Ramón also approaches Antonio to ask if he can leave early to go to the meeting, so Antonio agrees telling Ramón that he and Fabiola will be there too.

Antonio picks up Diego at school. Diego shows a picture he wants to send to his mommy when Roxana calls Antonio and asks to talk to Diego…unless he is going to refuse to let her talk to him. Once Diego has the phone, he tells his mommy about the picture and asks when she will be back. After she tells him she still has to stay and work, Diego starts to give the phone back to his dad, but Roxana refuses and hangs up.

Roxana calls Agustín wondering if he will be coming for her so they can go to lunch, but Agustín only has a half hour lunch so he can’t make it (serves her right!). Roxana whines and asks what she’s supposed to do, so Agustín tells her the world shouldn’t cave in on her…she can take a taxi and go shopping or whatever… Roxana wonders if she did the right thing (no, you didn’t…take the “Florida” keys and get back to your son!)

Antonio arrives back at work and Diego runs to see Ramón. When Diego says he’s ready to work, Ramón tells him he has a surprise for him and gives him the toy car. Diego admires the toy car as Rulo approaches and chides Ramón about not earning enough by working…he also wants to earn points with the boss’s son. When Ramón tells him to cool it and asks Rulo to give him the “masa”(?) for the Ms. Sonia’s car because he will now be working on it, Rulo is not a happy camper.

Thank You Mr. Alfredo. Much appreciated.
I have to admit Fabi has the flirtiest little face and eyes, Wow.

When Hornet starts buzzing I go to the kitchen and graze.
Still cant believe Halloween is the Mother of Thigh Gap.

Liked the sock hanging on the lamp when Halloween and SonOfSqueaky woke up.
MaidOfMoney acts like she is the Mother of CuteMute.
Margarita: NowTHAT'S marking your territory.

I have NEVER seen anybody with Kiss Me written on her face any bigger than Fabi.
It goes nicely with “Spank Me” that must be embroidered on her panties.

The bus ride with Squeaky and Halloween was a riot. And then:
Halloween making faces behind Squeaky's back over 'Her' chocolates. Tee Hee

Mr. Gambler brought some “Muscle”? With him to collect his debt from Julio. Hmmm.

Good Morning!

Your welcome, Kirby, but that was ME using (or trying to use) Alfredo's voice LOL

Kirby, I wish I had your flair for humor...this is supposed to be romance-comedy, but I think you do a much better job at the "comedy" than the writers. Thanks for the morning laugh :-)

"Mr. Gambler brought some “Muscle”?" I guess "gentlemen" need muscle to collect, huh?

Kirby, amazing pic!! Looks like the bird is walking on air. What kind of bird is that...I see tinges of red on the wing?

Oh Shoot, sorry RGV Chik. Thanks. That is a Great Blue Heron.

Last night was fun. And we had as much 'Action' as we did in ALL of Vino.

Blue Herons are actually grey, but in mating season they get some rust highlights and shaggy decorations.

Thank you, CHickie.

Wow, Marg got what she wanted, but only because Antonio is fuming about Roxy. Meanwhile, Porfiro is pining for Marg, and I think that those two will end up together when Marg finally realises that Ant just does not return her attraction .

Likewise, Dalia is not the one Ramon wants.

Benito is pretty old to be a Mama's boy.

Rgv Chick, outstanding. Another marvelous contribution.

"there are so many things he would like to tell her and she wonders what they are (as she looks at him with her dreamy eyes and a big smile)" perfectly captured the essence of Fabiola. She is luminous.

Kirby, I howled at your comments. And what a beautiful heron...

"Roxana’s nose gets longer as she says Antonio did know, but was obsessed and probably wanted to convince her not to go with him". I was hoping she would hug the teddy bear, tell the truth and go back to her son. She is digging herself in deeper. She already lost Antonio and she is sure to lose Augustin (who I gave credit to being a bit sharper).

And Margarita. Did it not occur to her that while Antonio may be thrilled at the prospect of her throwing himself at her, this might not be the most opportune time? She saw his fury at the airport. He needed to steam and settle. Stepping in to console is far better than stepping in after a fiery tirade. Her timing was a misstep and I think it will cost her dearly.

Changing his facial expression the moment the person turned their back reminded me of Eddie Haskall. Talk about sour and insincere.

Ramon is a doll and the actor is very likeable.

This is moving along nicely.

Rgv Chick, you are very talented. And appreciated.

Diana

I was referring to Julio in my Eddie Haskall statement.

Sorry. Am crazed at work and trying to do too many things at once.

Diana

Susy and Diana, ITA Margarita picked a very bad time to "console" Antonio. Antonio may just distance himself from Margarita...just as he jumped out the bed when he came to his senses. Margarita is in for many nights of crying unless she sets her sights on Porfirio who actually took the time to make her laugh when she was so distraught.

Hi, Diana. ah..Eddie Haskell. He always thought that he was pulling the wool over Mrs. Clever's eyes and charming her, but she was on to that conniver. We have all known a few Eddies I am sure. And yes, Ramon is a sweetie pie.

I think that both Dalia and Marg are going to be disappointed. And Luisa's competition is her Honey's mother. ..never good.

CHickie, yeah, Ant jumping out of bed immediately after the bunnyhop is not a good sign for how this will go. Will Marg end up pregnant?

Kirby: You've been watching "EL SENOR DE LOS CIELOS" on Telemundo ?

Susanlynn: Of course, Margo will get PREGGERS.

Thanks RGV Chick wonderful recap.

Too many Pinocchio's in this episode I think. With Roxana, Luisa, Benito, Rulo and to some extent Andrea lying to herself about her feelings.

Roxana's partial confession is only given to have Agustin feel sorry for her. Why with her being accosted by Antonio, and little old Roxy not having any idea why. Poor Roxy!

One note, Osvaldo was not at Susana's house they are at a hotel.

I am loving the whole Luisa and Benito dynamic, and with his mom in the mix, it is too funny. Much needed comic relief after what is going on over at LC, for those of you who are watching that one, you get what I'm saying.

Steve: No. I barely have time for Ramon.

RGV what a beautiful little flower you are today.

Sandie, thanks for clarifying where Osvaldo and Susana were. And yes, too many Pinnochio's...you could probably add Fabiola to that list too... she keeps trying to convince herself that Francisco is the man for her.

Kirby, that's a 'Dark Night' rose...thanks :-)

OT...Chickie...a Dark Night rose..lovely name. It would make a good title for a book. Lovely. I have not had much luck growing roses , but I love them. I had a climbing rose on the front fence, but a car ran into the fence and killed it.

#WaitWhat? are Ozzie and Sue doing at a hotel? Do they both live at home?
#Oopsnobackseatnow

Susy did the owner ever find out what his car had done to your roses?
#carseatdoritostoo?

Alfredo good recap. Thanks. And now rulo is gonna set up Ramon to fall by
Makin it look like he's been stealin.
Or something worse.

Roxy is a lying liar. She's been playin these guys. She's been sexin with both of them.

Julio is a train wreck. Hes selling his childs car to pay off his gambling
Debt. What a jerk. Doesn't virginny have any idea what her hubbys doing? I
Suppose not.She might have another one
Of those attacks,is it asthma or heart
Trouble? Well whatever it is her hubby
Troubles is on the uprise. Hes a douch
Bag deadbeat husband and a bad daddy.
Sellin your childs car, that's just so messed up.

So we find out if the the signatures
For real or not, and then we watch the
Ol Battle ax pitch a hissy fit. I hope
They don't mess this up and say it was
Faked.Cuz Horry will just get nastier.
I don't like that Ol woman,she's evily
Nasty.
So how close kin is Jorge and andrea?
I know we have probably talked this
Subject to death, but cousins in love.
Not new, it's just....to me off.I hope
Somebody is adopted.

I just wants to see the part about the
Signature. I want granny to shut her big fat yap up. Did I mention I don't
Like that woman?

Thank you Alfredo.

OT..Kirby..It happened while we were on vacation. I do not think the driver knew that he\she? killed my beloved rose bush. The insurance covered the fence only. I do not have a green thumb, but I bought that rose bush for $3.00 at a place called Agway. It grew every year and spilled over the wooden fence. It made me happy every time I !ooked at it. I wish that I had taken a photo of it in it's glory days! One day, Hubba was mowing the front yard , and a guy stopped and asked for three roses to take to his girlfriend (Beauty and the Beast?) . He gave Hubba $10.00...A $7.00 profit. I started calling the climbing rose my money crop. Then...gone gone gone .

Thank you, Rgv Chick. Enjoyed your recap very much.

It was cute how Ramón played a little roller coaster with Fabi. "To me, you don't look pretty," one Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi, "you are more than that, you are beautiful." In those tree seconds Fabi dropped her smile, moved down and to the side her eyes, visibly upset. And then, after the compliment, her smile is back, so clearly enjoying it.

NiNa, I wasn't clear...do you not like Horry? LOL j/k

Lucio, Ramon does have way of prolonging his comments and even his looks when it come to Fabiola...the way he refused to talk to her also drove her up the wall...he waited until she practically begged him to talk to her...what a sly fox he is!

Kirby, I hadn't noticed that Ossy and SusanaWanna had walked into the room with luggage. It wasn't indicated, but they're probably at Teques already (where they were planning to go all along). I wonder how long SusanaWanna is going to put up with Ossy's insensitive ass; seems like she's getting tired of his "admiration" for his mother too.

OT Susy, so sorry about your climbing rose. My thumb isn't all that green either, but I tend to be stubborn about things and don't give up easily . I've had several rose bushes die on me, but if I really like the bloom, I'll go buy another one. #nevergiveup

Thanks for the detailed recap Alfredo.

I am still working on the family tree of the Medina and Fernandez branches to make sense of the relationships.

One question and one observation: Isn't Margarita (Medina) a sister-in-law to Alfredo (Fernandez)? Observation: Jorge (Medina) does not look like his father Julio (Medina) or Virginia (?). Do we know if this is a puzzle? Did Virginia have an affair?

OT...Chickie..I look forward to your flower photos the same way I look forward to Kirby,'s birds . I have never seen some of the flowers that you post. Gorgeous colors.

Anon 5:37, I'm assuming that you are asking about Antonio (Fernandez). Ricardo and Katy were Fabiola's parents. Margarita was Ricardo's sister while Antonio was Katy's brother, so Margarita was Katy's sister-in-law, but she couldn't really be counted as Antonio's sister-in-law...right?

I noticed Jorge's "difference" from the get-go, so I'm hoping he's adopted, but that's only my theory. There has been no mention of it in the TN or that Virginia has had an affair.

RgvChick I'm sorry I thanked the wrong person. I forgot what waz at the top, I Always look at the name at the end of the recap.I beg your parten too Alfredo I'll get it right. :{

Horry is my "nick" name for hortensia, you know, that annoying grandmother who wants jauana to go to jail for forging the signature on the million $1,000,000 Insurance policy. Which she
Didn't do.

So either somebody had an affair or
One of them has some black genes in their DNA. Which does happen.

No problem, NiNa, I'm just glad the recaps help clarify things, Yes, I liked your nickname for Hortensia :-)

In hoping it is colorblind casting.

Great recap RVG! I missed the first half last night. Ramon will know immediately that Rulo's part is used. The gig is up.

Thank you Rgv Chick in answer to my questions. Yes I did mean Antonio (not Alfredo?). And as for Jorge, gosh I hope he not the child of either Julio and Virginia. This would solve any problem that Andrea has with him being her first cousin and a potential mate. If he is indeed adopted!

Anon 5:37

"..I look forward to your flower photos the same way I look forward" these other patios don't know what they are missing. Shhhhhh.

:-)

'Cause we got it goin oooonnnnnnn
