Enamorandome de Ramon #16 8/29/17: Huracaine Hortencia breaks her head and says Ramon did it.
Repeated scene: Ramon gives Diego
the hot wheel that he bought for him. Rulo comes over and sarcastically says “oh
so now you are winning the boss over by kissing up to his son." Ramon stands up and says
"chill dude, and give me the part for the car". Rulo gets a worried look on his
face.
Benito comes to see his changita
(little monkey Luisa) to try and make up. She is not happy about his mom and
how he doesn’t tell her about their relationship. She reminds him that he has a
deadline to tell his mom about them.
Rulo arguing with Antonio about
having Ramon do his job. Rulo says if
you don’t trust me than just fire me, Antonio does not like his tone of voice
but Ramon comes up and says "well let Rulo finish the job, client won’t
know". Antonio agrees and Rulo can breathe a sigh of relief.
Porfirio and Margarita are discussing
a case, and Margarita shows him how she is very knowledgeable of the law.
Porfirio is pleased with her. Then conversation turns to a conversation about all
of their messaging last night. How this was the first time either of them had
done that, than Porfirio talks about all of their firsts, and he invites her to
dinner she agrees. Reminds her that they have to go to court at 5, she remembers
and can’t wait till of this is over.
Sofia comes behind her father and
sees a list of names and amounts of money that he is looking at; he blocks her
view and asks what she wants. She wants to go shopping in San Diego. He gives
her money and tells her to ask Chato to go with her. She agrees kisses her dad
and leaves.
Outsied Sofia makes note of two names that she
saw on her dad's laptop, saves on her phone for later. She knows that the computer is the key to
everything, but she has to hurry she knows Ramon left heart broken, and he must
be alone; she tells herself that if he finds someone else she will die.
Virginia comes over to Luisa
telling her that she put one of her blouses that was to go to cleaners in the washer,
“what is wrong with you, lately you have been careless” as they talk Julio
comes in all disheveled claiming that some thieves roughed him up and stole Osvaldo’s
car. (Poor Julio, if he’s not careful they will steal that nose of his too)
Virginia tells Luisa to get him a tea. Jorge comes in and asks what happened, “they
stole your brothers car” as any reasonable person would ask he asked if Julio
filed a police report “of course I did, file a police report” what about the
insurance did you call them, yes of course but the insurance policy was expired
(how convenient) since Osvaldo was so careless to let the policy expire now he
will have no car. Jorge says he has to go because he is taking Juana and Andrea
to court, Julio’s antennae perk up and asks what for, Jorge explains and Julio
says please wish them luck, I will try to be there if I have time. Luisa brings
poor Julio his tea, and he acts like he is so upset, but Virginia convinces him
to drink it because the car was just a material thing and he should not worry
so much. Julio thinks takes his tea and thinks that he got away with it, and is
pleased that they bought his story.
At court Pedro explains to
Fabiola what comes next after the decision is rendered. If the judge determines
that the signature is fraudulent, the insurance will not pay the policy, but if
it’s found that they are not than insurance will pay soon.
The judge arrives and reads that
it has been determined that the signatures cannot be determined as belonging to
Ricardo. At that news Hortensia jumps up and says see, I knew it Juana
committed fraud, arrest her” Fabiola is shocked and puts her hands to her face.
Juana tries to defend herself and says she didn’t do anything. Ramon puts his
two cents and defends Juana. The judge orders everyone to be quiet and states
that it’s not proof that the signature is fake, only that it can’t be certified
as Ricardo’s because it shows some difference between the documents that were
provided for comparison. Both sides get
copies of the findings, and are asked to leave.
At the shop Rulo calls his PIC
(thanks RGV Chick) and tells him he needs the new part back because he almost
got caught by his boss. PIC says not dice, the part has already been installed
in another car, but he does have his share of the cash. Just installed the used
part, it will cause no problems. Unbeknownst to Rulo another mechanic is
eavesdropping and hears his end of the conversation, when Rulo hangs up he
comes over and tells him, “so you are playing dirty with the boss, eh?”
At the court, Hortensia is
accusing Juana and tells him she will put her in Jail. Juana claims she is
innocent and didn’t even know that the policy expired. Ramon tells Hortensia to
watch it because they can accuse her of making false statements. Fabiola speaks
up and tells Hortensia that because of her they lost all the money, Hortensia
points her finger right at Juana, blame her she’s the one that committed fraud.
Pedro defends Juana, but no one is going to make Hortensia understand. She
keeps accusing Juana, but this time Fabiola stands up for her, and so does
Julio who made it, despite having been mugged. (Yeah right) The only thing they
now have to worry about is that thanks to Hortensia Andrea and Fabi are now penniless.
Thanks mommy dearest.
The mechanic tells Rulo he knows
what he is up to so now he needs to include him in the little side business or
he’ll tell the boss, well Rulo has no choice and will include him
Antonio asks if there is anything
to do, but Pedro says no and Margarita affirms that money is more than likely
lost. Pedro offers to take them home, Hortensia says no I want to talk to my granddaughters;
they don’t want to talk to her. When they leave Hortensia tells Julio you
should have supported me. Julio tells her I am not going to support stupidity.
Susana and Osvaldo in bed. He
gets a call from home, where Virginia tells him that his car was stolen. Sorry
sonny boy.
Bad Fran is kissing his nurse
when he gets a call from Fabi. She tells him money is lost, she is so upset at
her stinking grandma. She hangs up because ride is there. Juana sees her crying
and tells her there is nothing to be done and they just have to accept it (I
must say, Juana is a saint)
Porfirio trying to explain to
dumb dumb (Hortensia) that the fact that the signatures could not be certified
does not prove that Juana faked them. Hortensia tells him that if he won’t file
a complaint against Juana she will look for someone who will. Porfirio gladly
gives her the file back because he will not handle that case.
Hortensia keeps stating that she
did nothing wrong, but Julio, Jorge and even Margarita tell her that she did,
and she cost her granddaughters one million dollars.
In a car on the way home, Fabi is
feeling sorry for herself because she lost the money; Ramon gives her a good
lesson and tells her to instead think of what she lost for that money. She
catches on and tells him not to tell her that. (Ramon’s life lesson Number 1)
Osbaldo fuming about his car,
tells Susana to get dressed they are leaving. She tells him it’s just a car
plus the insurance will replace it, right?
At shop Antonio tells Dalia that
insurance money was lost. She wonders how her godmother Juana is doing.
Margarita arrives at her office
and talks to Porfirio about how horrible the results are, she thought
everything was going to be over, but now who knows
At Fabi’s house Fabi asks Ramon
to cook for them. Juana says maybe another day, but Ramon agrees
Julio gets home, Virginia asks
him for money because she has to pay an invoice for materials, and she just checked
her account and she only has $6,000 pesos she needs $28,000 pesos. Julio yells
at her and says he has no money, he was just robbed and there is no money
there.
Ramon making dinner for the
girls, Juana thanks him for being there, he is happy to be there but if he got
a job offer at a shop in the US he would go and he would take her. He would
also take Fabi, Andrea, Benito, Dalia, he would take all. Juana smiles at him
and asks him, what is up with all those looks you are giving Fabi. Well it
means nothing, she sure is pretty but there is nothing to it.
Agustin arrives at the hotel,
tells Roxana he is tired she wants to go to dinner, but he is too tired. She
gets upset, but he tells her why don’t you start looking for schools for Diego.
Roxana likes that idea and hugs him,
Hortensia talking to Ricardo’s picture,
she is patting herself on the back because she is on the side of right, and she
promises she will get rid of Juana soon.
At Fabi’s house Chef Ramon is
done with the quesadillas, they all love them. Juana tells them that the
mechanic’s shop was enough for the household before and will continue to
provide, Fabi agrees and then the doorbell rings. It’s Hurricane Hortensia, she
comes to talk to the girls and sees Juana and Ramon begins to insult them and
tells them that Juana needs to leave now. She runs to Juana’s room begins to throw
everything on the floor, poor Juana can’t believe it Hurricane Hortensia grabs a
box and is about to threw one of Juana’s boxes on the floor and loses her
balance falls and hits her had on the corner of a dresser. She gets up with a
bloody forehead and accuses Ramon of hurting her, but everyone saw that she
slipped and fell. Ramon says he was just trying to keep her from throwing Juana’s
box. Fabi tells Juana they all saw what happened, not to worry.
Fabiola tries to stop Hortensia but
Hortensia tells her that when will she stop putting Juana first. Hortensia
leaves and Fabiola ask Jorge to get Julio.
Jorge tells Julio what happened
they go to Hortensia’s house but she won’t open. Jorge goes back to their house
to get the spare keys. Virginia looks for keys but can’t find she calls Luisa
and tells her about the Hoti vs. Juana altercation, Luisa turns to go to see
Juana but Virginia puts a stop to it, she says I told you to help find keys not
to go talk to your friend.
At Fabiola’s house Hurricane
Hortensia shows up with two police officers accusing Ramon of beating her up.
Juana and Fabiola both defend Juan but the police officers take Ramon to jail
based on the accusations. They say that declarations will be taken at the
station.
As they are taking Ramon away,
Julio and Jorge come out of the elevator, Julio sees the blood on his mom’s
face and thinks it’s serious so he wants to take her to hospital, but she wants
to go to the station first to file her report about the incident because she
wants Ramon in jail for a long time.
Jorge complaining to Andrea about
what a witch of a grandmother they have, when Luisa comes by she finds out
Ramon is in jail, so she decides to go to station. Jorge asks to please have
the family call them with information.
At the station Hortensia was seen
by a doctor, her wound is bandaged, and now she is walking slowly pretending
she is more hurt than she actually is. Pedro asks the doctor what is wrong with
Hortensia, doctor says the wound is not bad, but it appears that the injury has
affected her hearing; Pedro tells Juana and Fabiola that this complication can
send Ramon to jail for 6 months to 3 year. (Whatever happened to innocent until
proven guilty?)
Fabiola asks Julio what is wrong
with her grandmother, she is being so unjust, and Ramon can be sent to jail
because of her.

I am still having trouble seeing Juana as Ramon's Mom. Novia, maybe, Mama, well she had to get a pretty early start to have a 30 ish son, don't you think?
It dawned on me part of why Fabi is so attractive. That smile, those eyes, and a great pair of legs aside, she does not have any over the top obvious additions. IE: she looks like a normal girl you might find in your class in college. Compared to RealStela, who looked like she could hurt you and make you like it, Fabi is just so much more. (less)
Julio will not be the first human to discover that a lie to cover a lie is like compound interest. But in reverse.

It will be preposterous for Ozzie to believe that his car was stolen for long. And the insurance 'wasn't paid' story should come to light soon. I got last night that Oz and Jorge are brothers. I understand some of the comments about his pedigree now.
That Hornet is cray cray should be no surprise to anyone, I suspect she didn't just get to be like she is overnight, so why the family doesn't band together and put a stop to her craziness is another question. When she burst in last night she should have been unceremoniously burst right back out, given her history and actions of late. Just gently (leaving no marks) usher her out the door and call the cops. (like she did)

And apparently Hornet is taking blood thinners, as that mosquito bite on her temple looked to need a tourniquet around her neck !

My goodness, Hortensia was on steroids or something last night! I also noticed that Hortensia said that Juana had alwasy been a "maldicion" or bad omen for the family, so maybe there is some history that is yet to be revealed.

In the U.S. , you are innocent until proven guilty. Is the sane true in Mexico, or is it like in France where you are guilty until proven innocent?
The Grammy from hell has gone completely out of control. Families are often hesitant to confront elderly members who are opinionated\outspoken\unrealistic\offthewall. However, GrandHor has crossed a line now. My mother used to say, "Don't cut off your nose to spite your face." She is hurting her family. Ibam sure that Ricardo and Kate would be appalled . yikes

I am SURE there are a few with me at Sofia's table. Someone? Anyone? "she tells herself that if he finds someone else she will die" was very sad. I'm sure she has been pining away, likely all alone. Does her father allow her any friends? Must she always take one of the "help" with her when she leaves? She is a physical and emotional prisoner. She also seems resourceful so I suspect she is going to find a way to contact Ramon.
That said, does she stand any chance against the radiant Fabiola?? I sadly suspect not. "For her, nothing like Ramón to enlighten the day" - yes, well said Lucio!

I find it that Juana could be found guilty with a host of witnesses! I'm with you Diana at the Sofia table! I was thinking that she better get moving soon or she will have lost him. Knowing the writers, the moment Ramon and Fab are about to get together Sofia will show up. I like Sofia. She risked everything so Ramon could be safe. At this point, she deserves him more.
So what is Fran going to do now that he can't rely on Fab's money to pay his debts? Still think it is weird that a doctor can't come up with the money. Plot hole for me.
I still think Julio had something to do with the fake policy. Clever to say the car was stolen. I was wondering how he was going to get around that.
I wanted to kill Hort last night. Ramon and Juana are in trouble and the girls are too weak to know how to fight back. Juana should charge Hort with destroying her property. The girls should charge her for forcible entry.
I'm with you Diana at the Sofia table! I was thinking that she better get moving soon or she will have lost him. Knowing the writers, the moment Ramon and Fab are about to get together Sofia will show up. I like Sofia. She risked everything so Ramon could be safe. At this point, she deserves him more.
So what is Fran going to do now that he can't rely on Fab's money to pay his debts? Still think it is weird that a doctor can't come up with the money. Plot hole for me.
I still think Julio had something to do with the fake policy. Clever to say the car was stolen. I was wondering how he was going to get around that.
I wanted to kill Hort last night. Ramon and Juana are in trouble and the girls are too weak to know how to fight back. Juana should charge Hort with destroying her property. The girls should charge her for forcible entry.

I'll be away for a few days and am asking for your prayers and/or any good wishes you need to send.
I will be in the hospital tomorrow having a procedure. To make a long story short, it will determine if I need more brain surgery at this point in time. I expect to be ill for quite a few days.
I will miss you all my patio friends! I hope to be back in a few days and look forward to "seeing" you then and catching up. You don't know how much your camaraderie means to me. I am eternally grateful as many times, this is the highlight of my day. The kindness and generosity you bestow is incredible.

I am sure this is not a fake policy. SOMEONE had to pay for it and make the payments on it. If Ricardo and Katy were paying on the policy, why doesn't someone look to see who made the payments? You just don't get life insurance without making payments on it. I am sure it will be revealed very soon.
As for Hortensia, I'd like to see HER in jail for being a mean witch, but we couldn't be so lucky.
