Enamorandome de Ramon, Tuesday 8/15/17 Chapter 6: Fabiola Humiliates Juana, and can't stop whining
At Hortencia’s house she
continues pressing Porfirio to fight to get money from insurance company away
from “that woman”. Porfirio insists that he needs time to study different
alternatives. Hortencia tells him that there is no time because the insurance
company will be giving the money to Juana at any moment. He says he will to
their attorney La Madura (Pedro). She warns him to be careful because Pedro is
totally on the side of the maid. Phone rings, and Hortencia goes to answer it.
Margarita takes this opportunity to tell Porfirio that he is not doing what he
said he would do, and that was to tell Hortencia that there was no way to get
the insurance company to give them the money. Porfirio takes the defensive and
tells her that Hortencia is stubborn. If he does not help her she will look for
another attorney and this will never end.
Ramon continues to cry and is
devastated but decides that something had to make Sofia change her mind all of
a sudden. He gets up and decides to go
find her, he runs the way she had gone and sees her get into the car with
Jacinto. He just stands there watching them leave.
At Julio and Virginia’s house,
Julio finally gets home after a night of gambling. Roxana not to happy begins
questioning where he was all night. Well he was upset about what she did
yesterday, and he did not feel like coming home so he was at the office. He
continues and says that he can’t believe that after 28 years of marriage she is
checking up on him. If she continues he will not put up with it anymore.
Virginia apologizes and tells him she can’t live without him.
Juana is on the phone with Pedro
and says she does not have a bank account, and will have to open one. Pedro
offers to go with her and she thanks him. She tells him that things are okay although
some problems due to the money. Fab is there eavesdropping and hears part of
Juana’s conversation when she says that she will not give the money to the
girls, Fab darts out of there without hearing the part that she will use the
money to help them have the life that their parents wanted for them.
Fabiola runs into her parent’s
room to let Andrea know that she overheard Juana saying she will not give them
any money, she says Juana is two faced. Andréa does not believe it. Fabiola
tells her well you better believe it. Juana then walks in and they pretend to
be working, and neither of them says anything.
Jacinto is driving Sofia back to
her father, and starts telling her that he doesn’t get why she fell in love
with the limo driver. Sofia tells him to shut it and it’s not his place to say
anything to her. Jacinto than reminds her about their agreement, he kept his
end of the bargain so she better keep hers or he will find her little love and
kill him. Jacinto then calls Rosendo tells him he has Sofia and that Ramon is
now dead.
Ramon heartbroken gets on a bus
headed well somewhere.
Antonio calls Roxana to invite
her to dinner, at her favorite restaurant. He offers to pick her up; no she
will meet him there. When she hangs up Agustin calls her to see if they are
going to see each other tonight. No sorry she has a date I mean she has to take
care of Diego.
Juana serves the girls lunch, but
Fabiola is not hungry and is rude to Juana, gets up and leaves, Andrea follows
Fabiola. Juana is confused.
Jacinto delivers Sofia to her
father. He wants her that this better be the last time she runs away. Because
just like he got rid of that man he can get rid of any other man. He tells her
that she better be listening. She is and knows that he could care less about
her feeling. Eh he doesn’t care, cry all you want little girl, you are marrying
Timoteo anyway.
Fabiola again throwing a tantrum,
Andréa does not understand if Juana is the way Fab says why is she still there?
Why does she not leave? Fabiola wonders the same thing.
Jorge knocks and comes into the
room with the girls. He heard they are
sad about going through their parents things.
Fab says that’s not it. It’s Juana she has no intention of giving them
any of the money. Jorge does not buy it. It must be a mistake. Fab continues
whining and says Juana is a liar. She gets call from Antonio asking her to
watch Diego tonight. Fabiola agrees to do it.
Porfirio visits Pedro to get the
will and other documents. Pedro says that they both know that they cannot do
any of what Hortencia wants. Porfirio
agrees but he will still look at the documents to try to appease Hortencia.
At Rosendo’s ranch Timoteo talks
to Sofia. Asks why she abandoned him at the altar. She says what did he expect
when a pregnant woman crashed the wedding claiming she was having Timoteo's
child. Timoteo argues that that is not true so Sofia says to prove it have her
do a DNA test to prove it. Timoteo agrees to do it.
At Dinner Antonio kisses Roxana.
Roxana kisses him back and asks what the special occasion is. He says we should
live together again. She asks him what do you mean, she does not want to go
back to the old monotonous live they had before. He says they can change and
make it work. She wants to but it would have to be somewhere else Cancun or any
other place. He can’t because everything he has worked hard to build is here.
She says they can start over but he doesn’t think it would work. She calls him
negative, he says they can’t drop everything to chase her dream, but promises
to make their lives here special and they will try new things, asks her to
please think about it.
Whiney Fab continues tantrum this
time to her boyfriend, and Francisco only encourages her more saying that she
has to fight for the money because it’s for her future, their future. Fab eventually
says she is so upset she even wants to kill Juana.
Roxana walks in the door telling
herself, no she does not want to go back to her old boring life, Antonio is too
boring. Agustin sensing his cue calls her and tells her he is there with a
surprise. She opens the door and there stands #2 with a set of luggage for
their trip to Miami.
Rulo sees Dalia at a taco stand
and promptly comes over to tell her he would have gladly taken her to dinner.
She says she would not be caught dead with him. He complains about her playing
hard to get but she does not see herself with him ever.
Luisa runs into Benito who has a
present for her, a silver necklace. She’s impressed and he puts her in a taxi
to go out with her. She actually spends
the night out with him.
Julio is having breakfast with
Hortencia, where she informs him that Porfirio will try to get the million
dollars for her. Julio tells her she needs to stop because she will just be
wasting her money. He doesn’t approve of it gets up and leaves thanking her for
breakfast.
Juana calls Dalia looking for
Luisa, but did you not see each other last night, Juana confirms that nope not
last night. Dalia’s light bulb goes on momentarily. Luisa walks into the
interrogation chamber where Dalia asks where she was last night.
Agustin wakes up in bed with
Roxana, tells her she is so beautiful, she asks if he is hungry and he is but
he rather do something else, and begins to kiss her.
Margarita is coming out of the
building at the same time that Diego and Antonio are coming out; Diego tells
her that he spent the night at his cousins’ house. She wonders why and Antonio
says it’s because he went out to dinner with Roxana things between them may get
better. Margarita smiles on the outside but you can hear her heart break.
Luisa makes up a story about
spending the night looking for a present for her birthday. And Dalia buys it.
Juana again on phone with Pedro
talking about the money, Fabiola overhears the end of the conversation and
jumps at the opportunity to yell at Juana. She confronts her about the money.
She accuses her of not wanting to give them money. Juana is hurt and does not
want to explain anything to her. Fabiola spews her venom, and Andrea comes in
and types on her tablet that she agrees. Juana takes off her apron and leaves,
because it’s Sunday and even maids have Sunday’s off
Margarita having lunch with
Porfirio talks about what Antonio told her, but she recalls that they saw
Roxana kissing another man. She wants to tell Antonio that Roxana is making a
fool of him. Porfirio tells her not to get in the middle of that.
Antonio comes to invite the girls
to lunch, he asks for Juana and Fabiola takes the opportunity to tell her
little sob story once again. But regardless of this bad situation she will do
her best to survive. (boohoohoo)
Porfirio informs Margarita that
he got the will and insurance documents, and tomorrow he will tell Hortencia
that there is nothing that can be done about the money.
Juana comes crying to Luisa and
explains that Fabiola has accused her of wanting to take the money and to top
it all off Andrea believes it.
Now Julio comes to the house and
the sob story gets retold. Julio does not believe it and wants to try to call
Juana. Call does not go thru so they try Luisa’s house but Luisa does not pick
up and tells Juana that today there is no Juana for the ungrateful brats.
Antonio is the only level headed
one and recommends that they give Juana her space, and when she comes back they
should apologize to her. Fabiola doesn’t think they have to apologize, but
Antonio suggests that they do because that’s what people do when they are
wrong.
Dalia comes into Luisa’s and
shows Juana the necklace that Luisa gave her for her birthday. Juana knows
better and when Dalia leaves asks her who gave her that chain. She says it was
a friend, but that’s all she will say.
Margarita goes to visit Antonio,
and runs into Roxana. She mentions that she saw her the other day at a
restaurant with a man. Roxana says she must be confused because she does not
know that restaurant. Antonio and Diego show up and invites both of them to
have coffee but Margarita says she will come back later.
Julio goes to Luisa’s looking for
Juana, but Luisa lies and says she has not been there. Julio asks that if she
sees her please have her call to try and straighten out the misunderstanding
she had with the girls.
Julio gets home and Virginia
begins to question him about his whereabouts he explains where he was and tells
her about the problem with Juana and the girls. Virginia is concerned that
Juana may want to actually leave with the money.
Fabiola continues crying about
the same old thing. Complaining about Juana, Andrea tries to talk her out of
being so upset. Fabiola tries to convince
Andrea that the old Juana does not exist anymore that Juana is not worth
it. Andrea wants Juana back. The doorbell
rings, and they become apprehensive they go to the door, calm down and when
they open it’s Ramon.

ITA with Alfredo, Fabi was at her worst. She can't believe money has changed Juana? What about her? Or has she always been a brat?
I wonder how Roxana's and Antonio's life was like before it became humdrum? Or did she change and now wants an "exciting" and extravagant life.
Margarita must have Superman eyes...she actually saw that Agustin had green eyes from where she was sitting...in the car?
I'm glad Ramon got over his extreme heartbreak quick...he seems to be such a good guy...to humble for Fabiola...but we'll just have to wait how she will win him over.

I agree with both Alfredo and Rgv Chick that this is far from a promising start for someone who is supposed to be the heart and soul of this TN.

So Ramon sees Sofia leaving with her father’s henchman and doesn’t put two and two together?? I was completely dismayed. That said, if he had realized, he would likely be dead now and there would be no further storyline.

One has only to look at Timoteo to feel he is nasty and untrustworthy. Poor Sofia! Will she sleep any easier if the DNA test proves he is not the father of the other woman’s child? I suspect not. Sigh.
Roxana is so scared of monotony that she would leave Antonio against for an adventure in the Keys? Great line Alfredo.
I didn't get a bad feeling from Raul at all. I think Dalia and he might end up together. He is quite handsome!

I hastily looked up Alfredo Gatica (Raul) and believe he might be Luis Gatica's son! If so, I certainly see where he gets his good looks!
I know I've seen him in something else, but can't remember where.

So we are seeing Roxana's true colors. She is bored being a wife and mother and wants some excitement. Antonio looks like he does okay but Augustin has much more money it seems.
Julio's dark side is definitely coming out too. I didn't like the way he smiled after playing Virginia. After 28 years of marriage you should be a better husband!
Ramon isn't that much older than Fab and if Juana has been with the family since the girls were young, wouldn't Ramon have grown up with them somewhat? Or at least seen each other a few times over the years? Seems odd that they acted like they didn't know each other at all.

I guess Juana did keep her life separate. That is a bit surprising as the girls loved her and I imagine most (Hortensia and Virginia aside) also liked her. Before the pesky inheritance arose.

Alfredo: I agree about this TN being a little lighthearted with a mix of silly, and the obligatory love scenes. It is absolutely a change of pace from the last three I have seen. Nothing wrong with change.
