Enamorándome de Ramón #22; Friday September 8, 2017; Fabiola and Ramón become “Novios” (boyfriend/girlfriend) or The Truth Comes Out!
Andrea falls asleep with the home video on. At first what
is on is another family party, but then it appears that Katy and Ricardo
accidently left their video camera on record while they were discussing the
life insurance policy. They go through the list of family whom they might
consider being the beneficiary. The idea of Hortensia gets thrown out
immediately by Ricardo because she doesn’t get along with their daughters plus
is so controlling. So they both agree on Juana being the beneficiary of the insurance
policy. They agreed that when the girls were old enough, they would change it
to their daughters’ names. But anyway, they decided that they would not die. Ricardo
signs his name, but makes a mistake on his signature. Katy says it’s good
enough because to write over it would make it worse and that was it. Unfortunately
Andrea slept through the whole thing!
Sofía and Tim argue in her bedroom after the men discover
that she may have been eavesdropping on their meeting. He starts to come on to
her, but she rejects him, reminding him of the woman who is claiming to be
pregnant with his baby. She shows him out. She cries by herself and makes a vow
to leave that place.
In the morning, Virginia asks Julio where he was last
night because he was so late. But Julio is very vague. Jorge gets up but tells
his mother he’s off to see Andrea because Juana was going to make tacos to sell.
At Benito’s place, (he’s dressed in these hilarious
looking teddy bear pajamas that look like they are for a baby) Luisa comes to
the door while he’s having breakfast. He opens the door then shuts it in
embarrassment. Luisa says she has seen him in the outfit that God sent him to
the world in, so it doesn’t matter. He goes to put on a robe, but he puts on
his mother’s robe (very floral looking) and looks even more hilarious. He asks
about how it went with Juana and if she agreed to keep their secret. But she also
told him that there is no reason to keep this secret either. Luisa gives Benito
a month to tell his mother and if he doesn’t their relationship is over. (I find this relationship very entertaining!)
At Luisa’s place, Dalia and Ramón are helping Juana get
the food ready for sale. Luisa arrives back home and Juana asks her if
everything was fine, but Dalia wants to know where she has been. Luisa lies and
says yes, everything was fine, but she was out buying anise, then couldn’t find
any. Dalia then questions Luisa why she said everything was fine.
At breakfast, Fabi and Andrea talk about the videos she
has been watching and that she fell asleep watching them. Jorge arrives and
takes Andrea out.
At Antonio’s, Roxana calls and she’s not very happy. She
wants to know why he didn’t answer last night. She talks to Diego on the phone
and he lets the cat out of the bag that his dad has been spending time with
Margarita and she was looking for a new apartment.
Veronica calls Porfirio and asks if he would like to go
bikeriding. He says he will, but first he’s going to go to church to ask God’s
protection because with her, you never know.
Roxana calls Virginia and she cries to her about what is
going on with Diego and Antonio. Roxana decides she is going to leave Agustín
because of Diego.
Julio has breakfast with his mother (didn’t he just
refuse breakfast with his wife?) All Hortensia does is complain about Ramón’s
existence and how he is teaching Fabiola to drive and of course she is angry.
He mentions that Juana is selling tacos in the street. She wants him to go
grocery shopping with her but he tells her to call and have them delivered.
Julio leaves and Hortensia decides to call Francisco to let him know that Fabi
is taking driving lessons from Ramón. But he tells her that they broke up and
he can’t do a thing. Have a nice day.
Fabi arrives at Luisa’s so that Ramón can continue her
driving lessons.
Sofía comes to ask Ramón’s former employer and friend,
Valente about where Ramón is and he tells her that he hasn’t seen him and doesn’t
have his number. She leaves, frustrated. But he calls Ramón to let him know and
Ramón asks him to not let Sofía know where he is at. Outside Ramón’s room,
Dalia is eavesdropping and wonders who Sofía is.
In Miami, Roxana is packing, but hasn’t bought her ticket
yet. Agustín apologizes about his behavior and admits he was stupid and
jealous. He tells her that he loves her. Roxana tells him she has to leave but
promises him she will return.
Andrea and Jorge talk about the videos and he wants to
see them too later.
Juana gets her street taco stand set up and Ramón and
Fabi take off together. Dalia is just seething…
Margarita and Antonio are having lunch at a fast food
restaurant that looks a lot like a McDonald’s where they have the play area. Of
course, Diego is with them. Margarita says she looked all through her mother’s
drawers for any kind of documents regarding the auto shop, but there were none.
So Antonia says he will call Don Pedro to see if he can find out anymore.
Margarita advises him to find out the property’s history.
Before the driving lesson begins, the kissing begins….They
talk about their feelings and Ramón tells her that he wants them to last
forever. Then he asks about Francisco and Fabi lets him know that they are
over. So Ramón tells her she needs a new boyfriend and makes the offer. She
says, “I do want to be your girlfriend.” And they start kissing again. She tells
him too that she was watching videos of when they were kids and remembers that
she always liked him when he was kid.
Dalia complains to Luisa with a sourpuss face about how
she hates Fabi and Ramón together. Luisa tells her that when Fabi gets married
she won’t have to worry. Seems she doesn’t know that Fabi and Frisco broke up.
She tells Dalia to stay out of the situation.
Emilia gets home and tells Susan she thought she would be
out with Osvaldo, but Susan says they had a fight. Emilia tells her that she
saw Osvaldo (and glad she was not there) at the casino and that he lost $4,000
pesos. He was trying to win enough money to buy another car. Susana is not interested
in gambling and would rather stay out of it. Emilia thinks that Osvaldo is a
good guy, but Susana is not so sure.
Osvaldo is having a beer with his friend and they discuss
their exam selling business as he needs to make money. (Get a real job!)
As Juana is selling her street stand tacos, Benito comes
over to buy some. But then here come the police who ask her for her license to
sell. They tell her if she has no license, they have to shut her down. Benito
tries to talk them out of it and offers to serve them tacos. Seems they can’t
be bribed. Dalia gets angry but Juana and Luisa decide to put things away.
Fabi isn’t doing too well with her lesson today and she
and Ramón have their first fight. He gets out of the car and walks in front of
the car while she puts it in gear and he ends up climbing on the car and in
through the window to help her because she does not know how to stop this car.
He is successful and they make up with another kiss.
Agustín and Roxana appear to come back from shopping and
Roxy says she is exhausted. Phone rings! It’s Virginia and she tells Virginia
that she is returning the next day. Roxana asks a favor. She wants Virginia to
go gossip to Hortensia that Margarita and Antonio are seeing each other.
Juana, Luisa, Dalia, and Benito return to Luisa’s place
where Dalia makes some remark about whether all the street cart vendors have
licenses.
Jorge and Andrea get back to her place to play the home
movies. Andrea starts the video.
Virginia rings Hortensia’s doorbell and Hortensia answers.
“Oh it’s just you. If you are looking for Julio, he’s not here. I don’t know
what you do to him to make him not want to be around you.” Then Virginia says, “Well
at least I’m not like some whose husbands leave them.” “So what do you want?”
says Hortensia. “I want a favor from you. Your daughter Margarita is getting
herself involved in something very serious. What? You don’t know that she is
seeing Antonio?” “No, she can’t be Antonio’s lover because Antonio is a married
man!” Virginia goes on to tell her about “poor Diego” who knows all about this
sordid thing and knows they are going apartment hunting so they can all live
together. Hortensia is livid and picks up the phone to call Margarita. She goes
to his door and he’s not home. Then she says Fabiola must know something.
Meanwhile, Jorge and Andrea finally get to see the video
with Ricardo and Katy regarding the life insurance. Now they know the truth!

Thank You Ms. Cynthia. Driving lessons interspetced with makeout sessions could be tough for anybody. Fabi sitting there all Doe eyed with that little furry pussycat sweater on would make any car misbehave.
Dalia finally decided to wear spray-on jeans in lieu of parading around in her pantyhose, but I still don't like that nosey little bitch. Nice body though.

Your picture of Dalia reveals that her face is mirroring the jealousy and resentment in her soul. There is a time to give up and for Dalia, that time is now. Making angry faces at the police was not a wise idea. I say she channel her energies in reforming hot bad boy Rulo.

I never pictured Virginia as the little errand girl. She certainly seems willing to do Roxie’s bidding.
Roxie should have stayed put and tried to work things out with Antonio. I suspect her marriage is fractured beyond repair.
I never expected to see Marcelo Cordoba playing a totally unlikeable character. His Julio is just that. His good looks aren’t doing a thing to negate his selfish, self centered persona.
I like Fabi and Ramon. The kissing lessons are progressing better than the driving lessons aren’t they? “Fabi sitting there all Doe eyed” was the perfect description Kirby. BTW, happy to see your post this morning. Glad the lovely spoonbill is here with us.

Susy no I said I had plenty of fuel and had gotten the generators out of storage. That was when Hortensia was forecast to skirt the East coast. Then the projected track kept creeping over until it now is dead over us. I would rather stsy and face irma than stranded on the highway somewhere out of gas. This isn't my first Indian War. I know how to survive. Thanks for your prayers.
Diana I do live very near the water but on high ground, 33 feet above flood stage, so that is not a concern. Just the wind.
I am still confident that Irma will have weakened substantially before it gets to me. I have seen the media exaggerate these storms so many times, not to sound flip.

Right now we've got a nor'easter blowing in and there's rain so there's a high pressure somewhere off in the Atlantic and that's causing the nor'-east to blow in, and then we got the Wide expand of what's her name down south, ofcourse I don't know if that wide spand reach this far but I won't be surprised if it does. Anyways we're hanging in there y'all, thank you for your prayers and such. keep them coming I happen to believe that God is a lot bigger than miss Irma. A calming of the winds.

I'm glad you are on high ground Kirby. Hopefully, the winds won't be packing at the 185 mph I'd heard were expected and it will substantially weaken before it hits.

Just home from a concert (Jay and the Americans) , and I had to check in to see what is new.
Chickie, wow..so many kids!! My friend raised sheep and was excused temporarily from jury duty once because she was helping to deliver lambs! My Uncle Harry (a terrible driver) was my driving instructor. My dad gave up on me after I stalled his truck a couple times at the end of our lane. Hubba later tried to teach me to drive a manual transmission...he also gave up. Maybe Ramon could have been more successful.

I'm glad the video was discovered so soon. I was afraid it would take weeks for Andrea to rewatch, or that Horty would discover it.
I wonder if when Juana gets the money how it will affect Fan and Damon's burgeoning relationship? Fab wasn't too great about it before.

Her track was forecast to be NNW and follow the West coast. It has been due North for the past 5 hours which puts her pointed more East of me. Pressure is up to 936mb and winds are down to 115.
I expect it to be down to a Cat 2 by the time it gets to me. She is over land now since crossing the Florida Straits, and did not intensify there. She will now begin to use up her fuel on the way to visit Kirbo.

Kirby be careful with those generators they can be deadly too. Good?Morning patioooooo. Irma flew by here about 11:00 to 12:00 last night. Pretty windy, yard is a mess and a few tree limbs down. Power has been out since 7:00 PM yesterday so the house is running on genset and inverter power but everything is fine. I couldn't get any decent pics 'cause she did this shit in the black of night after power was out. Grrrrr

The crows are back. I haven't seen anything else except an Osprey or two. Haven't seen a furry tailed RAT in days. They said on TV there were dogs, cats, turtles and rabbits in one of the shelters but not a word about squirrels. ? ? ?

Wow it is jet black here. The power must be out for miles around. You just would not think these middle aged white Ward Cleaver types would be driving around in their Mercedes and Acuras breaking into houses and stealing our stuff.
And you would be RIGHT. My neighbor just surprised two in his back yard. As they cannot tell exactly which houses are ripe for looting with all the power off. It is going to be hard to sleep tonight
