Caray, Caray!

Fabiola tells everyone at the table that Ramon sends them greetings but Julio is surprised that she is talking about Juana’s son. Fabiola nods and reveals that they are in a relationship but Julio thinks Ramon is taking advantage of the situation, though he doesn’t tell Fabiola this. Instead, he confesses that it is unexpected but everyone is free to do with their lives as they wish. Fabiola apologizes for not telling him soon but Julio shakes his head. Juana explains that she also found out by surprise, as they didn’t want to tell anyone, but Fabiola announces that now everyone knows except Hortensia, as the Medina sisters have not seen her, and have no desire to see her, since everything with Juana happened. Fabiola then inquiries about Hortensia’s health, as they told her she wasn’t feeling too well, but Julio hopes everything will be okay. Julio then tells them that he has to go and Juana asks him not to worry as they will take a taxi back one. Once alone, Juana asks the sisters how they feel and they jump at the chance to hug and kiss Juana while telling her that they are extremely happy.



On his way out, Julio stresses over the Ramon situation as he’s sure that he is only with Fabiola for her money. Either way, things just got a lot more complicated. Just then Virginia calls him and he asks her to leave him alone for a while but Virginia wants to know if he told Juana to not ask him for help anyone. Julio screams that he did and she got what she wanted. He then hangs up and Virginia hopes he’s telling the truth, for his own sake.

Fredesvinda worries that Benito is not eating enough, especially with all the hours he works, but Benito is just not hungry right now. Fredesvinda nods and then explains that she missed Mexican food as everything in Chicago was so bland, especially the hamburgers. Behind them, Luisa sighs, exasperated, as the waiter comes and asks for her order. She points to something in the menu and the waiter assumes she’s mute. Once he’s left, Luisa turns around, gives Benito to follow her to the bathroom and he obliges.

Outside the bathroom, Luisa chides Benito for taking his time with the news but Benito worries that the news may cause Fredesvinda indigestion. Luisa warns him to tell her the news, ASAP, or he will be in trouble. He asks for a kiss good luck and Luisa obliges before sending him on his way.

Back at the table, Fredesvinda declares that she is satisfied and Benito is ready to tell her the news as Luisa comes back to her table. Benito begins his long-winded confession with the beginning of the creation of man and woman, though others may have different preferences, and announces that he thinks about a future where he finds someone to spend his life with and has children with and takes them to school…Luisa has had enough and stands up to leave but doesn’t see the waiter behind her and knocks into him. The waiter, who has a place full of food in his hand, throws the plate on Fresdesvinda, who screams that the food is burning her. The waiter and Benito immediately go to help her clean up as Luisa watches them, shocked.

Roxana goes to visit Virginia at her job with tears in her eyes. She tells Virginia that Diego is outside with Miriam but she needs to talk because she’s pregnant and she doesn’t know who the father is. Virginia is shocked and Roxana explains that she would like it to be Antonio’s, as they have a child together and they could form a family, but also Agustin, but he just lost his job, so she needs to know who the baby’s father is. Virginia suggests she go to her gynecologist, as Roxana’s knows Antonio, and gives her the information. Roxana thanks her and confesses that has not been able to sleep since she received the news. Roxana then asks Virginia how she’s doing and Virginia explains that, even though she gave Julio an ultimatum, now that Juana received the money it will be that much harder to keep Julio away from her.

Julio goes to visit Hortensia and asks her about her doctor’s visit. Hortensia explains that she passed them with flying colors and Julio is happy to hear it though he’s there to talk about Juana. He explains that she received the insurance money that morning and would like to return to the Medina sisters ‘apartment. Hortensia will not allow it.

Fabiola is waiting for Ramon so they can leave work together. He wants a kiss first and she obliges. She then smiles and tells him that everything is slowly getting better, especially now that she has him, the money and Juana is likely returning to their apartment. Ramon smiles and asks if she now thinks less of him because she’s rich. Fabiola looks him dead in the eyes and tells him that money will never be an obstacle between them and she loves him just as he is. Ramon nods and explains that he doesn’t care how much money she has either because he is not interested in it. The most important thing is that he loves her, like he has never loved anyone, and he wants her to know that. She smiles and he kisses her, passionately, sealing their promise and their love.

Julio thinks Hortensia should reconsider as she has distanced herself from her family with her attitude. Hortensia sighs and Julio asks if she knew about Ramon and Fabiola. Hortensia does, Francisco told her, but she thinks Ricardo is rolling around in his grave at the news. Julio suggests she keep her enemies close, especially Juana, and asks that she lift the restraining order as a sign of good faith for Fabiola and Andrea. Hortensia is suspicious, as he’s never cared about the sisters, but Julio explains that he does and needs Juana close so he can see how she manages the money. Hortensia considers this.

Benito meets Luisa outside her house. He explains that the food wasn’t too hot, so it wasn’t as bad as they thought, but he wasn’t able to tell Fredesvinda the news with all the commotion. Luisa assumes that destiny and fate are against them but Benito suggests they go tell his mother the news, together. He grabs Luisa and drags her along.

Dalia gives Fredesvinda everything she asked for but the picture is not passport sized, as the employee at the store had no idea how to cut it, so she can’t accept it. Dalia begs her to reconsider and Fredesvinda will make an exception. After a few moments, Fredesvinda grabs a container of flour and begins to pour it over all the items while reciting the chorus of “Lady Marmalade” and repeating “I love you.” Next to her, Dalia begins to pray that the spell works. At that moment, Luisa walks in and demands to know what is happening. She chides Dalia for her actions and drags her away as Benito chides Fredesvinda for giving into Dalia’s request, and asking for money on top of that. Fredesvinda chides him for doubting her powers but Benito thinks there are limits to her “powers” and she shouldn’t abuse their friends and acquaintances.

Outside, Luisa is disappointed at how far Dalia is willing to go to get Ramon’s attention, especially recruiting to some cheap parlor tricks. She tells Dalia that she is obsessed with Ramon, not in love, especially because he doesn’t pay attention to her. Dalia is sick of her reprimands and reminds her that she is her daughter, not Fabiola, but Luisa explains that because she is her daughter is precisely why she wants to help her out. She is a beautiful, young, and vibrant woman and any man would be lucky to have her but Dalia wants Ramon. She asks Luisa to stay out of her way if she’s not going to help her. Luisa thinks that she knows what love is but she doesn’t though Dalia thinks Luisa knows even less what love is as she has not been able to keep a man by her side. At this, Dalia storms off as Benito comes and Luisa asks him to hug her. He obliges and Luisa laments the fact that Dalia can’t see that all she says is for her own good. Benito thinks Dalia will realize the truth eventually but Luisa worries that she won’t. Benito asks her where Dalia went but Luisa doesn’t know though she worries she won’t come home. Benito promises to go find her if she doesn’t and hugs Luisa again. Luisa wonders what she will do without him and hugs him tighter.

Francisco goes to visit Fabiola but Andrea tells him she’s not there though she wants to know when he plans to give up. Francisco tells her that he will never stop fighting for Fabiola and he is going to wait for her to get home because, if Andrea can be mute, he can be stubborn. He sits down on the couch and plants his feet, like a child, to wait for her.

Over dinner, Antonio and Margarita are happy to hear Juana finally received the insurance money. Margarita knows Hortensia won’t be too happy but she will deal. Just then, the doorbell rings and it’s Diego and Roxana, who are not too happy to run into Margarita. Diego wants to leave immediately but Roxana asks for some time to talk to Antonio and then they can go. Margarita prefers to leave, though Antonio objects, and Diego then runs to his room to play as his parents talk. Roxana explains that she is still feeling bad so she is going to the doctor in the morning to do a series of tests and wants him to take care of Diego tomorrow. She confesses that she feels vulnerable and is sad that they are so distant though Antonio reminds her that she set the rules. Roxana nods but wonders if they can be like they were before. Antonio confesses that he doesn’t trust her anymore but Roxana wants to work at their relationship, for Diego, and Antonio promises to try. Roxana nods and hopes they don’t see each other as enemies moving forward. Just then, Diego comes with a teddy bear and plays with Antonio as Roxana goes to the bathroom.

In her car, Margarita cries and blames Roxana for Diego’s actions. She will not take it laying down though but continues to cry and slams her hands on the steering wheel.

Roxana sneaks into Antonio’s room, takes some hair from his comb and puts it in a plastic bag. She hopes it’s enough for the DNA test.

Fabiola arrives home, sees Francisco and Andrea, who looks annoyed, and demands to know what he’s doing there. Fabiola thinks she was more than clear about their relationship and asks that he leave because she has a had a very long day at the insurance company and the bank as Juana received the insurance money today. Francisco slowly nods.

Hortensia and Julio go to visit Juana and Ramon because Hortensia wants to lift the restraining order. Juana smiles and offers them some coffee; Julio accepts but Hortensia barely says one word. As Juana goes to prepare the coffee, Julio asks Hortensia to at least pretend to be cordial. Hortensia sighs, annoyed.

Francisco is happy that they finally received the money but laments the fact that her parents died as they would be married right now if it were not for that. Fabiola reminds him that her parent’s death was the greatest tragedy in her life but that has nothing to do with their breakup. For one, she discovered things about him she didn’t like and then he broke up with her, over a petty lover’s spat, as if they didn’t have years invested in their relationship. Francisco admits that he acted poorly but he would like an opportunity to make it up to her. Fabiola thinks it’s too late as anything between them is over. She then begs him to stop insisting or he will lose the little bit of affection she feels for him. At that moment, Margarita knocks on the door and Andrea lets her in. She asks the sisters for a place to stay the night and greets Francisco. Fabiola then tells her that Francisco is on his way out and walks him to the door. Before he leaves, Francisco tells her that she can ask him to stop insisting but not stop loving her. With that, he leaves, but Fabiola closes the door, exhausted. She tells Andrea and Margarita that she made it abundantly clear that she wants nothing romantic with him and then asks Margarita about what happened with Antonio. Margarita explains that the problem is Roxana because Diego can’t stand to be around her because of her. The sisters nod and offer their support.

Ramon arrives home and finds Hortensia and Julio waiting. He stops for a second and then Hortensia launches into her reprimand, specifically, the fact that Ramon and Juana have not adhere to her rules and continue to frequent the Medina sisters. In fact, Ramon is even dating Fabiola now. Juana reminds her that they have not set one foot in the building or been close to her. In fact, the sisters come to see them. Hortensia nods and explains that she will never understand why Ricardo left Juana the money or why Fabiola chose Ramon but she refuses to be out of her granddaughter’s lives so she has decided to lift the restraining order, despite her reservations. With that, she storms out and Julio smiles before telling them that she will come around. Juana thinks this is enough as she can go live with the sisters again and Ramon can visit them. She hugs Julio as a thank you for his help.

Rulo and Chava are playing pool at the local bar when Dalia walks in. Chava sees her first and points her out to Rulo, who asks her what she’s doing there. Dalia explains that she came to distract herself for a bit and Rulo offers her a beer, which she accepts. As Chava goes to get them, Rulo makes his way over to her and asks if she’s been crying. Dalia confesses that she fought with Luisa and told her terrible things. She then hugs Rulo, dejected.

Andrea hands Margarita a tea and then goes to answer the door. It’s Antonio, who’s come to see Margarita. The sisters leave them alone and Antonio sits down next to Margarita. He saw her car in the parking lot and assumed she would be there. Margarita asks if Roxana and Diego have left. Antonio nods and explains that she came over to ask if he could take care of Diego tomorrow. Margarita thinks she could’ve told him that over the phone but Antonio explains that she also asked him to work on their relationship as friends, for Diego, though Margarita wonders where that leaves her. Antonio tells her that nothing has changed regarding their relationship but Margarita wants to know if she will have to leave every time Diego comes. Antonio reminds her that he asked her to stay but Margarita is not going to force Diego to cohabitate with her. Antonio thinks Diego will eventually accept her presence as she’s not going anywhere. Margarita smiles and they kiss as Fabiola’s phone rings. Margarita asks her to come as Juana is calling her. Fabiola answers and Juana tells her the good news about Hortensia. Fabiola calls Andrea over and tells them all the good news. They hug as everyone smiles.

Emilia finds Osvaldo sitting in the living room. Neither of them can sleep though Osvaldo thinks he called her with his thoughts. She asks if he was thinking about her but Osvaldo explains that he was dreaming about her and they kiss.

The next day, Luisa wakes up with a dog face and goes to the dining room. Juana serves her some coffee and tells her the good news about Hortensia. Luisa is surprised but happy though she will miss Juana. Just then, Dalia walks in and Luisa asks her when she got home. Dalia doesn’t remember but she must leave either way. Juana asks if she wants breakfast but she shakes her head and leaves. Juana then asks Luisa what happened and Luisa explains that Dalia is mad about Ramon and Fabiola. She then drinks her coffee and leaves as Ramon comes, swallows an orange juice, and kisses Juana goodbye. Before he leaves, Juana asks why he and Dalia don’t leave together anymore. Ramon doesn’t know but he thinks he should find his own place as soon as she moves out. Juana agrees, especially because Dalia doesn’t seem all too happy with him there. He nods and leaves as Juana laments that no one ate her breakfast though she will make them a nice dinner.

Julio sits down for breakfast with Virginia, who asks him where he was last night. Julio thinks she should have followed him if she wanted to know though he does reveal that Hortensia lifted the restraining order and Juana is going to live with the Medina sisters again. Virginia is shocked that Juana will continue to be a servant, even though she’s now rich, but she would like to know if Julio is going to see her now that she’s so close. Julio, exasperated at the whole situation, tells Virginia that she has managed to spoil his breakfast and leaves.

At home, Hortensia is having breakfast when her hand begins to shake. She grabs to stop the spasms as Julio comes and asks if she’s ready to go lift the restraining order. Hortensia confesses that she has been thinking and doesn’t think she should do it anymore as Juana is the only one winning if she does. Julio doesn’t answer why she hates Juana so much and Hortensia screams that she’s just a servant, that’s why, but agrees to go lift the restraining order and leaves with Julio in tow.

Fabiola goes over to Ramon, kisses him hello, and shows him some jobs that Antonio wants him to take care of, personally, as well as confessing that Francisco stopped by the apartment last night and she told him to stop insisting that they get back together. Ramon is not too happy to hear this but he also has news: he is going to move into his own place as soon as Juana moves back in with them. Rulo stands behind them and listens as Fabiola and Ramon promise to go look at places during lunch.

Julio gives Juana the documents that state the restraining order has been lifted. Juana sees them and cries as he hugs her. She thanks him for all his help and smiles as Julio tells her that he’s more than happy to. He offers to help her collect her things and take her to the sister’s apartment. Juana accepts.

Augustin is looking at job postings online and finds one that sounds like it would be a good fit. He calls to set up an interview.

Sometime later, Julio and Juana arrive at the apartment building. She thanks him for taking her but she can hardly believe that she is back where she belongs. Julio asks if the sisters know but Juana wanted to surprise them. Juana thanks him again but Julio explains that he did what he knew to be right. He offers to help her bring her things up but she shakes her head. He then goes off to work as Benito comes, happy to see her, and offers to take her things up to the apartment. Benito is also happy to see Juana’s parrot who is happy to be back.

Fabiola and Ramon look at apartment in her office computer but they are all too expensive. He thinks he pound the pavement to find something more economical though Fabiola thinks he should ask Juana for some of the insurance money. Ramon reminds her that he wasn’t interested in her money, as he said yesterday, though Fabiola thinks he should take it as a loan. Ramon asks that she never offer the insurance money again and Fabiola agrees. She does hope that they can open up a mechanic shop in the future where she will provide the capital and he will provide the labor like she was going to do with Francisco. Ramon thinks she should get back with Francisco then because he’s sure he would accept her help. He storms off as Fabiola follows her.

Juana and Benito arrive at the apartment and Juana is shocked at the mess. Benito reminds her that it was the first time they were by themselves and Juana agrees but she will still reprimand them. In the meantime, she asks Benito to let her know when Andrea and Fabiola arrive so she can surprise them. Benito reminds her that Andrea arrives earlier but Juana will ask Jorge to entertain her in the meantime. Benito nods and then leaves.
Fabiola chases Ramon and apologizes for bringing Francisco up as she thought it would convince him to accept her help because she would love to go into business with him. She now realizes it was a poor example and begs him to forgive her. He asks that she never bring up her money again or Francisco. Fabiola agrees. Just then, Ramon receives a call from Juana, who asked him to take some stuff over. She asks to go with him when he goes and Ramon agrees. Fabiola then walks away.

Juana and Luisa are going food shopping but find everything expensive though Juana agrees to spurge a little. Luisa jokes that the money is going to change her but Juana shakes her head though it’s fine to spurge from time to time. Luisa suggests they get some sparkling wine too and Juana smiles before nodding.

Later that night, Benito arrives home and greets Benito. He greets her back and calls Juana to tell her that Fabiola is on her way home. Juana thanks him and hangs up before texting Jorge to tell him that Fabiola is on her way home so he can take Andrea back. Jorge knocks over the Jenga game they were playing and tells Andrea that he has somewhere to be right now and Andrea nods before leaving.
Moments later, Fabiola runs into Andrea in the hallway and asks her where she was. Andrea tells her that she was with Jorge and then they make their way home. They go inside the apartment and close the door but are shocked to find it all cleaned up with a dinner prepared for them. Juana then comes out of the kitchen and announces that she’s back before hugging them. Fabiola and Andrea hug her back, happy to have Juana back.
