Enamorandome de Ramon #34 9.28.17: Party Poopers and Secret Smiles

As Fabiola and Andrea hug Juana, happy to have her back, Luisa comes out of the kitchen and goes to answer the door. It’s Jorge and Ramon, who come in with big smiles on their face, and yell: “surprise!” The Medina sisters tease them about knowing Juana was back and not telling them but Ramon proposes a toast to celebrate Juana’s return and the fact that that Ramon can now visit them too. Ramon pops open a bottle of champagne and everyone cheers.

In her apartment, Hortensia hears the commotion and calls Benito to ask what the hoopla is about. Benito explains that there is a party in the sister’s apartment to celebrate Juana’s return. He asks if she would like him to ask them to keep it down but Hortensia shakes her head and hangs up. She thinks they should come thank her for lifting the restraining order but instead they throw Juana a party.

Virginia also calls Benito and asks him tot ell the neighbors to keep it down. After a moment she hangs up and assumes Julio must also be at the party to celebrate Juana’s return.

As Andrea and Jorge dance, Fabiola and Ramon dance as well and Fabiola compliments Ramon. He explains that Juana and Luisa taught him though Fabiola wonders why Juana didn’t teach them. Ramon thinks she doesn’t need it as she dances fine. From the dining room, Luisa compliments the food and Juana nods and goes to answer the door. It’s Julio, who gives Juana a bouquet of flowers, and walks inside. The sisters thank him for his help with Hortensia, as she’s not an easy woman to deal with, and then go back to dancing. Juana offers Julio a sparkling wine but Julio asks her to pour a cup for herself. Juana thinks she already drank enough but Julio insists and she obliges. As they toast, Julio hopes everything is nothing but happiness from now on.

Dalia arrives at her empty house and wonders where everyone is. Just then, Luisa calls and tells her she’s at the sister’s apartment as Hortensia lifted the restraining order. Dalia assumes Ramon is there too but Luisa asks her to stop and Dalia tells her she is going to sleep and hangs up. Just then, Rulo knocks on the door and explains that he was in the neighborhood and thought he’d pass by. He asks if she’s alone and Dalia tells him about the party at the Medina’s apartment. Rulo is sure Ramon is on his way out too thought as he heard him and Fabiola talking about getting a place together earlier.

Jorge raises the music and insists everyone dance, including Julio. Julio shakes his head but Juana drags him to the dance floor and begs him to dance with her; she even offers to teach him. Julio agrees and begins to dance as Luisa answers the door for Hortensia and Virginia, who are stewing as they march in. They demand to know what Julio is doing dancing with Juana but Fabiola stops them and thanks Hortensia for lifting the restraining order. Julio then grabs Virginia, pulls her off to the side, and demands to know what she is doing there. Virginia wants to talk to Juana but Julio forbids it and announces that he and Virginia are leaving. Hortensia prefers to stay, so she can reclaim her rightful place in the family, and sits down before asking Juana for a mineral water. As Juana obliges, Hortensia orders everyone to turn of the music. Everyone complains but they, ultimately, do so.

Rulo tells Dalia that Ramon and Fabiola must be thinking of moving in together because Ramon played his cards right and seduced the boss. Dalia asks that he leave if he is going to talk about Ramon and Fabiola but Rulo just wants to make her understand that Ramon isn’t worth it, especially when he loves her. Dalia reminds him that he took advantage of her when she was drunk so his love must not be too great but Rulo tells her he would never do that. Dalia demands to know why he said they slept together and Rulo explains that he thought she would stay with him if he said it. Dalia, pissed as hell, demands he leave and pushes him out the door before slamming it.

Julio pushes Virginia inside their apartment and demands to know what she planned to do showing up at the sister’s apartment. Virginia hoped to save face in front of Juana but Julio is sick of her suspicions but Julio hopes she has a good excuse for behaving as she did in front of Juana. Virginia wonders if Juana promised him a life of luxury, now that she got the money, but Julio screams that he is full of debt and the only reason he is getting close to Juana is to manage the money. He warns Virginia that if he doesn’t get out of his debts soon, she may also loose the store.

Luisa leaves the sister’s apartment for the night as Hortensia suggests Jorge and Ramon leave too. Jorge and Ramon reluctantly agree and they do to the door as both girls walk them out. Fabiola is pissed that Hortensia ruined the party but Ramon thinks they should thank their stars that they can be together. Once they’ve left, Hortensia hopes the sisters are happy because they got what they wanted. Fabiola demands to know what she means but Hortensia prefers Juana leave though they don’t let her. Hortensia reminds them that all she did was for their well being though Fabiola reminds her that they almost lost the money because of her. Hortensia vows to win back their love and begs them to never forget she is their grandmother and, therefore, family before leaving. Once alone, Fabiola asks Andrea and Juana if they believe Hortensia but neither of them does though Juana thinks they should give her a chance.

Virginia is shocked that Julio would compromise her store, which her parents left her, and tells him that he won’t like to her like he did to Osvaldo. She demands to know what he did with her store but Jorge comes in and Julio grows quiet. Jorge asks them why they left, as Hortensia ruined the party when they did, and Virginia explains that she had to talk to Julio about the store. Jorge nods, bids them good night, and goes to his room as Julio warns Virginia that they will be out on the street if she doesn’t allow him to continue seeing Juana. Virginia leaves to her room without another word.

The next day, Juana brings Ricardo and Kathy flowers and gives them the good news about the insurance money and tells them that their daughters are moving forward, slowly, but steadily. Antonio comes and says hello before confessing that he didn’t know she came to see them that often but now understands why there was always fresh flowers. He has no doubt that his sister and Ricardo leave the money, and their daughters, in the best hands. Juana smiles and thanks him for his kind words.

Julio is at home, researching future investments opportunities for the money, when Virginia comes and asks if he’s working from home. Julio shakes his head, calls his secretary to confirm he won’t be in the office till the afternoon, and tells her he has some morning meetings before leaving.

Juana confesses that she thought Hortensia brought flowers as well but Antonio explains that he brings fresh flowers to Kathy whenever he can. Juana nods and tells him that the Medinas were always good to her and remembers when Ramon was sick years ago and they paid her plane ticket to go see him. Antonio tells her that the Medinas loved her, especially Kathy, and Juana smiles.

Roxana goes to the doctor and explains that he will compare the DNA samples of the potential fathers with the amniotic fluid of the baby to see whom the father is. Though there is little to no risk for the baby, she must be on absolute best rest at 48 hours after the procedure unless she wants complications with her pregnant.

Julio meets with an employee from one of the potential investment companies, focused on solar power alternatives, just as Augustin sits down with another employee for his interview. While neither of them notices the other, they are only one cubicle apart.

As Antonio drives Juana back home, she tells him about how happy she is to be back home and asks him to visit. Just then, he receives a call from Roxana, who asks him to take care of Diego for the next 4 hours as she has a conference. He agrees and hangs up.

In her office, Fabiola and Ramon look at more potential apartments. They have complied a list of apartments to check out during lunch and Fabiola asks Dalia to keep a look out for a package they ordered whose invoice is on her desk in a folder. Fabiola then asks Ramon with which neighborhood they start and leave as Dalia realizes that Rulo told her the truth about the house shopping.

Virginia goes to Julio’ offer and demands the secretary give her all the documents pertaining to her store or she will make sure she’s fired.

Dalia goes into Fabiola’s office and looks around. She finds Fabiola’s phone on the desk and grabs it, wondering what to go.

Ramon and Fabiola visit the first apartment but she doesn’t like it because it’s too small. Ramon thinks they should keep looking until they find one that Fabiola loves. Fabiola gives him a kiss and then they continue walking toward the next house.

Virginia warns Julio’s secretary to keep quiet about the papers she gave her or she will be in trouble. The secretary knows Julio will notice the documents are missing eventually but Virginia suggest she tell her the truth and confess that she gave them to her under duress. At that, she storms out.

Dalia calls Francisco from Fabiola’s phone and tells him that she is a friend and suggests that he get a move on if he wants to win back Fabiola as she and Ramon are looking for a house to move in together.

That night, Luisa and Benito stand outside his house, building each other up for their big confession to Fredesvinda. Luisa thinks it’s about time, especially after 5 years, and Benito agrees. They kiss each other for luck and go inside to find Fredesvinda with Adalgiza, Austreberta’s daughter, who hugs Benito tight, much to Luisa’s annoyance.

Ramon eats dinner with the sisters in their apartment as they and Juana remember the party last night, fondly. The doorbell rings and Ramon offers to answers but is attacked by Francisco, who grabs him by the shirt collar, as Fabiola tries to stop him. She manages to separate them as Francisco accuses Ramon of wanting to move in with Fabiola to get her money. Ramon demands to know what he is talking about but Juana offers to explain: Ramon is actually the one looking for a house and he should not come into other people’s houses and attack them. Francisco is shocked that he has to apologize to Ramon on top of everything but Fabiola is tired of him showing up, uninvited and unwelcomed, at every turn. She demands him leave immediately and respect her home and work place. Francisco leaves without another word and Juana hopes that he finally got a clue and leaves them alone. Fabiola wonders if Francisco is following her, as there is no other way he could’ve found out about Ramon’s house plans, but Juana doubts it. She asks them all to calm down and continue their breakfast. They agree and Ramon and Fabiola hug each other.

Fredesvinda introduces Luisa and explains that Adalgiza was born in the Chicago and she is visiting them after the funeral. She then tells Luisa that Adalgiza and Benito got a long fabulously when they were young but Benito tells Luisa that it was a long time ago. Adalagiza asks him not to be coy, as they used to pretend to be in a relationship when they were younger, and can’t understand how he doesn’t have a wife if he’s so attractive. Luisa doesn’t know either but after one look to Benito, thinks he will surprise them soon. She then leaves and Fredesvinda assumes she was there to drop off some clothes for her to wash and iron but forgot.

Francisco, fuming, exits the apartment building and looks through his phone to see who called him. Dalia answers on the first ring and Francisco calls her an idiot because she had misinformation. Dalia demands he never call her that because he’s the idiot but Luisa walks in and hears her. She asks her not to speak in that way but Francisco has already heard her name and hangs up. He realizes it is Dalia from the shop and smiles.

Dalia tells Luisa that it was a wrong number who got mad because he had the wrong number. Luisa thinks she shouldn’t get so angry either way and then offers her some of the dinner she bought. Dalia already ate though and goes to her room in a huff.

In her store, Virginia looks over the documents but everything looks okay. She wonders if Julio lied to justify his relationship with Juana.

Adalgiza offers to serve Benito more food but he is can only think about Luisa, who must be mad at the current state of events. He finally snaps out of it and asks Adalgiza how long she plans to stay. Adalgiza confesses that she feels alone in the US after her mother’s death, even though she was born there, and wants to move to Mexico so she is going to buy a house. Fredesvinda, however, offers her a room at their house and Adalgiza thanks her and smiles.

Agustin goes to visit Roxana. He assumes Diego is asleep, which is why he came so late, and Roxana nods. He walks in and tells her that he is close to finding a new job and he would like to be a family with her and Diego. Roxana thanks him for his kind words and Agustin reveals that he would also like to marry her. Roxana is quiet for a moment and then asks if he would like to have another child. Agustin hadn’t thought about it but he wanted to stabilize himself, economically, first and then think about it. Roxana nods.

Virginia arrives home to find Julio there. She is shocked that he would be there so early but he is shocked that she would be home so late. Virginia explains that she had a meeting with a client, like he does so often, but Julio smells something fishy and tells her that he didn’t marry a woman who will be out of the house at odd hours. Virginia didn’t marry a man like that either but she has had to deal. Julio, frustrated, stands up, tells her that he is also going to a client meeting right now and storms out but Virginia is unfazed. She smiles, proud to have gotten under his skin.

Juana runs into Julio in the building lobby and asks him what happened since he looks so angry. Julio confesses that he has marriage troubles and Juana apologizes for being nosy though Julio doesn’t mind. She though he had a pretty stable marriage but Julio explains that it has its ups and downs, especially when he feels pressured and undervalued. Juana thinks he is a great man and wonders what Virginia may have to complain about. Julio thanks her but he just hoped that Virginia would tone down a complaining a little is all. Juana nods and then asks him if he knows what Virginia was going to tell her yesterday.

Antonio has dinner with Margarita at her apartment and tells her about Roxana’s “trip” and how he has to take care of Diego. They both think she is actually going to see Agustin but Roxana wouldn’t admit it. Margarita laments the fact that they won’t be able to see each other at night but Antonio suggests they do so in the morning or afternoon. Margarita agrees and Antonio then gives her a kiss because he will likely miss her kisses. She then goes to answer the door, hoping it’s not Roxana who found out where she lives, but it is Porfirio, who has come to see her apartment with dinner, as Margarita hasn’t even invited him over. Margarita smiles and asks him to come inside though Porfirio sees Antonio and wonders if he should leave the dinner and wine and go. Antonio doesn’t mind him staying, neither does Margarita, and Porfirio agrees.

Julio tells Juana that Virginia wanted to talk about Fabiola and Andrea, now that they received the money, but Juana laughs it off, as the money won’t change them. She then suggests Julio reconcile with Virginia and he asks if she has ever fallen in love. Juana is not sure she has ever been in love and Julio is surprised though Juana reminds him that life is like that. She then bids him good night and Julio secretly smiles before leaving.

Porfirio tells Margarita and Antonio (but mostly Margarita) that he has eaten all kinds of snake and rate meat when he’s been to Asia. Margarita is all smiles but Antonio wears a slightly sourpuss face throughout dinner. He then announces that he should go, as he has to take Diego to school tomorrow, and leaves. Porfirio wonders if he was angry but Margarita explains that Antonio is just serious. She then serves him more ribs and Porfirio thanks her before smiling.

Roxana is in bed, stressing about what her next plan of action is should the baby be Agustin’s, who doesn’t want to have children right now.

Ramon arrives at Luisa’s and asks her why she has a long face. Luisa confesses that she and Dalia are in a fight and Dalia has barely spoken to her for days. Ramon thinks he should move sooner than expected because he doesn’t want her and Dalia to continue fighting. While Luisa thinks he should stay, Ramon shakes his head, though he assures her that he will still visit them. He then gives her a kiss on the forehead and offers to talk to Dalia, who is in her room.

Ramon knocks on Dalia’s bedroom door and Dalia lets him in. She demands to know if he came to talk about his love for Fabiola but Ramon thinks that’s personal. He does need to talk to her about the fact that he’s moving because he finally has a steady job and refuses to be at their house without paying anything. Dalia thinks that Fabiola put those ideas in his head but Ramon just wants to be independent. Dalia thinks he is angry with her because of her recent actions and begs him to stay because she will be better. Ramon shakes his head and tells her that he loves her, but only as a friend and sister, and he hopes that, once he’s left, she can clear her feelings up. He goes to leave but Dalia holds him back. He looks at her and she lets him go. Once alone, Dalia cries.

Juana is in her room, thinking about the fact that she has never fallen in love. While she cared about Ramon’s father, she knows it wasn’t love, and wonders if she will die without experiencing such a feeling. She hopes to find it soon though, as Ramon is grown and so are the sisters, so she can now focus on herself. She vows to not let any chance at love pass by.

Julio is at a bar with a patron and tells him that he is having some romantic troubles, as he’s interested in a woman below his social standing. The patron thinks he should go for it regardless, especially if the woman is pretty. Either way, Julio doesn’t need her to give conferences. Julio thinks about this but admits that Juana is intelligent, in her own way, and has a good intuition and instinct; he is sure should could’ve gone far if she could’ve studied. The patron asks him to stop denying his feelings, as he is obviously into this woman, and show her the way to paradise. Julio considers this as a devilish smile crosses his lips.

AAA, what a FABI-ulous retelling of the events....and the title is perfect!!

Quite a bit happened last night...the party was going so well until HorHellia showed, although I was glad Virginia ruined it for Julio. How was it that Juana taught Ramon to dance if he was raised by his grandmother?

I don't care for Ruly, but I'm glad he came clean with DaliSkank...it at least shows he has a little bit of conscience and seems to truly care about DaliSkank.

I like the change in Virginia...a complete turn around from the pitiful, insecure complainer she has been.

Juana said that she had never been in love and it wasn't love with Ramon's father? So what was it? ...rape? ...infatuation? Inquiring minds want to know!

My favorite scene: "Dalia thinks he is angry with her because of her recent actions and begs him to stay because she will be better. Ramon shakes his head and tells her that he loves her, but only as a friend and sister, and he hopes that, once he’s left, she can clear her feelings up. He goes to leave but Dalia holds him back. He looks at her and she lets him go" Ramon was so upfront yet considerate, but I highly doubt Dalia will give up. Will Fransicko throw her to the wolves...oh no, what if they become allies?? Yikes!!

Another favorite: "He has no doubt that his sister and Ricardo leave the money, and their daughters, in the best hands. Juana smiles and thanks him for his kind words. " Juana should really reconsider her opinion of Antonio...and of Julio. Hopeofully she'll realize what a deviant Julio really is.

"The patron asks him to stop denying his feelings, as he is obviously into this woman, and show her the way to paradise. Julio considers this as a devilish smile crosses his lips." The man is such a calculating weasel.

Thank You Mr. AAA. Another fine work you bestow on us, your fans.

So Julio finally tells Virg that he in essence has borrowed against her parents store which she inherited to pay gambling debts, and if he can not squeeze the cash out of Wanna? (romantically) the store is gone. Truth? We do not know at this time, but as DaniHo is not here I'd gladly pop a cap in his ass.

Although there will be collateral damage, (the girls inheritance) it will serve dummy with pigtails right when Julio squanders her money like he has Virginia's.

Naive is one thing, purposefully stoooopid is another, for which I feel no sympathy.

DWPT

DWPT?? hmmmm...scratching my head...

Thanks so much Alfredo!!!!

Juana made it obvious last night that she likes Julio. I thought she seemed to be flirting. Looks like Julio may like her back but that is just because she doesn't know him and gives him compliments. At least he finally told Virginia the truth--but not about his gambling.

Porfirio and Marg have such an easy camaraderie that Antonio felt left out. I wish Marg would open up her eyes to him!

The rest I didn't really care about except that Francisco is so good looking I hate that he's a bad guy.

Thank you, ALfredo, for another great recap.

Gee, I cannot understand much of what people are saying, but I thought that when JUlio was talking to that guy, he was telling him that he was falling in love with Juana. He had such a dreamy look in his eye...or maybe that was me.

carvivle..yeah, what is up with making all the good Lookers evil?

Dalia is not going to give up do easily.

When do we find out about Ramon's dad ? Was he a friend with benefits.

CHickie..maybe you are right about JUana and Ant ending up together !

And how about proactive Porf popping by. Ant was scowling and seemed to feel either jealous or like a fifth wheel...or maybe a jealous fifth wheel. Hey, remember, you and Marg are just friends with benefits, Ant. It's cool.

Susy, " I thought that when JUlio was talking to that guy, he was telling him that he was falling in love with Juana. He had such a dreamy look in his eye...or maybe that was me." I thought the exact same thing...but knowing his history, I have my doubts. I rewatched the scene and he appears more intrigued by Juana than anything else, especially since he knows she has never fallen in love before; so he may be developing feelings for her. However, despite those feelings he may be developing, he'll probably still try to swindle that money.

Well, Julio is not gambling right now..no money...I guess he is gambling on charming money from innocent , loving Juana. Don't do it, Julio. Fall in !ove and stop gambling . #ilovehappyendingsandredemptions

Dancing With Potato Tots ?
Dummy With Pig Tails.......Bingo

I believe the only reason Julio is interested in Wanna?'s never been in Luuuurve is he sees it as an easy way to get the MONEY.

He could give two shits from a sheep's tail about Virginua loosing her shop because of what he has done. He is purely and simply a willing addict who only has one purpose in life.

Juana sees in Julio all of the things he wishes he still had--probably all of the same things that made Virginia first fall in love. Problem is he has lost all of that and is now just a charming faker. It's why men cheat. They bring none of the past baggage into the relationship and can start with a clean slate. He doesn't love Juana. He loves how Juana sees him.

LOL Kirby...or you could combine the two for "Dancing With Pig Tails" but your second one does merit the BINGO!

Virginia was looking at some documents and couldn't find any evidence that the store had been used as collateral...I'm sure there are ways to hock the store without her finding out, right?

Trivial observation: I do like the way this TN does, or doesn't do, make-up, especially when make-up is normally not used...home alone, in bed, etc... It's more noticeable on Roxana.

Carvivlie, "He doesn't love Juana. He loves how Juana sees him." you nailed it! and the lure of the money will make him unstoppable.

Alfredo, thank you for the splendid version of Sugar, spice and everything is not always nice. Superb job as usual!

Dalia had several reality checks. “I love you like a sister but nothing more” from Ramon and “nothing happened” from Rulo. Lessons from life's school of hard knocks. RgvChick, I also think he has real feelings for Dalia. I keep wondering if they are going to try and redeem him or if he is going to take that one extra step over the line to make that impossible.

Biggest menace? Julio. Biggest loser? Same. "Julio smells something fishy and tells her that he didn’t marry a woman who will be out of the house at odd hours". OMG. Oh no, he didnnn't?? But far, far worse and even more condescending: "Julio thinks about this but admits that Juana is intelligent, in her own way, and has a good intuition and instinct; he is sure should could’ve gone far if she could’ve studied". Who the hell does he think he is??? This entire family has delusions of grandeur and an air of superiority.

And I agree Kirby, that Julio does not care about Virginia at all. Either that he's squandered her money or about her as a person.

I relished that Porf invited himself over dinner and did a wonderful job horning (gently and smartly) in on Ant's and Marg's dinner. Susanlynn, Ant was clearly uncomfortable and I totally cheered!

That said, Ant and Juana seemed totally comfortable and companionable riding home together. Rgv Chick, I believe it was you who posted a late comment last night about them possibly being a couple. After last night, that makes brilliant sense. Julio and Virginia deserve each other. Marg should be with Porf. The only fly in that ointment is Rox...someone mentioned her with Augusin. Makes sense to me!

"It's why men cheat. They bring none of the past baggage into the relationship and can start with a clean slate. He doesn't love Juana". Very insightful Carvivlie.

So now yet another impediment to Benito and Luisa getting together. An unwanted houseguest.

Alfredo, you are the best!

Diana

Thank you Alfredeo, you have a knack for retelling a story.

This episode had a lot going on but the one thing that stuck with me is how ridiculous Frank looks trying to assert his rights when he has none. He is thick headed and can't see he has no chance at that money. Fabi has moved on dude leave!!!

I don't like where Roxy may take her baby issue, she may be thinking just to tell Antonio the baby is his. She exhasperates me.

I notice that many in this patio don't like Juana, which surprises me. I don't think she will let Julio take advantage of her, and I definetely don't think she would start a relationship with him because he is married, and she has morals. She is probably the one character that has nothing to hide, that is always on the up and up and is most misunderstood. I may be proven wrong but I like Juana, she may have over reacted with the Ramon and Fabi relationship, but she is right there are many hurdles they will need to overcome.

Most surprising last night was how well behaved Hortencia was, it seemed so out of place. For her to agree to stay at the party, whaaat? I did a double take on that one.

Most disappointing was the introduction of yet another reason for Benito not to man up, this is borderline ridiculous already. Don't like that cousing character one bit.

Cousin...

Roxy worrying because Augie says he doesn't want children now is crazy. He said he needed to get a job, which he does, and ask any unmarried, jobless man if he wants a baby right now and he would say no. If she told him she was pregnant he might be thrilled. He says he wants to get married and have kids. She is making this more complicated than it needs to be. Which is just like her because she still stringing Tony and Augie on. Talk about a procrastinator.

Carvivlie the reason I don't (supposedly) like Juana is I believe she is being dishonest about Julio. I think her feigned naivete toward Julio is a smoke screen to sort of make it understandable when she "succombs" to a married man, in her orbit, no less. And I believe she knows he is simply after her money (now) and prefers to allow him to pursue her for that purpose, betting that in the process he will come around.

succumbs and that wasn't autocorrect.

NiNa you don't like Dr Francisco OR Julio? Who'd a thunk it !

Every time I call him Frankenfarter, I see Frankenfuter from Rocky Horror and it is just a Hoot.

Kirby, I didn't question your dislike for Juana. I will take on your argument though! If Juana was really after Julio she wouldn't have advised him in the parking lot to work on his marriage with Virginia. She would have been stoking the flames of unrest. I actually think she is naive when it comes to men as it looks like she hasn't dated in 30+ years--I don't know how old Ramon is supposed to be. Now I think her guard will be up when it comes to the money. As long as whatever the account the money is in, is in her name only, Julio can't move the money around. Do I think the writers may be setting us up for Juana to be blinded by love with Julio, maybe, and then I think that would be too out of character for her.

NiNa if it is any consolation, when Jorge, Andrea, Suzanna and Virgi (and everybody) find out that old Who-Leo and Ozzie are both smackin' Emilia, he will be in so much hot water he could go to hell and cool off.

And you know they will. It is pretty much a certainty in real life, and this is in a TN.

Hoppy Friday

Yeah, I had forgotten about the advise in the parking lot. Hmmm. She sure seems to be able to (I thought on purpose) not see what others see in Julio and is at least flattered by his attentions. I hopeo you are right Carvivlie.

Just excellent Alfredo! You always do such a great job retelling the episode. This comes in very handy because many times I'm late coming in on the episode in progress.

Do you all think that Julio really is falling for Juana for herself or is it really for the money. He almost looked kind of dreamy eyed talking about her with his drinking buddy at the bar. Might he be smitten with her or not? She seems to have high moral values and she can't be that naive about Julio paying so much attention to her. She seems to not have noticed Virginia's jealousy in all this either.

As for Francisco, this guy needs to throw in the towel! Why doesn't he go for Dalia? She's the desperate one here. Ramon feels nothing for her so she just needs to get a clue and give it up!

Cynthia..I think Dr. Frank is not interests in Dalia because she doesn't have any money.

I am very curious about Ramon's father and the reason he was raised by his abuela instead of his mother.

Juanna acts like she is 16..so naive and good-natured. Has Julio slept with Emilia or are they just casino buddies? All these guys are about money, gambling, or women.. Except sweet Ramon. Benito needs to cut the apron strings. How old is he supposed to be?

" cut the apron strings. How old is he supposed to be?"

Looking at Mama, he has to be fifty unless she had him as a teenager. :-)

Susy, that I know of, Julio has not done the deed with Emilia. There was that one time he went over for dinner and took flowers and wine, but other than that, they didn't give any hint of a "closer' relationship.

RGV I text'd Julio about that and he said they did, but afterwards she was really weird about it saying she had expected something a little more energetic, but wouldn't say why. ? ? ? ?

Kirby, was she "firm" about that? ;-)

Detention hall for both of you.

Kirby, Doritos? I'll take goat cheese dip :-)

Luuuurve Doritos. Been eatin' them a looong time.
