Enamorandome De Ramon, 10/3/2017 Chapter 37: Many misunderstanding, missed opportunities, and mistakes.
Repeated scene:
Virginia tells Jorge, “ Andrea is very important to you right?” Jorge says, yes she is. She confirms that they have been inseparable since they were little. She then looks at Jorge and considers telling him he is adopted. But changes her mind.
New scene:Virginia tells Jorge, “ Andrea is very important to you right?” Jorge says, yes she is. She confirms that they have been inseparable since they were little. She then looks at Jorge and considers telling him he is adopted. But changes her mind.
Antonio gets to Fabi and Andrea’s house to pick up Diego, they are not there yet. When they arrive, Diego is extremely happy about having gone to the movies with Ramon and Fabiola. Antonio thanks them for taking care of him and then he leaves.
Juana tells Fabi and Ramon that she has good news because Andrea spoke. “She said Jorge, I wonder why she can’t say Juana, it’s the same length”. Ramon gets ready to go and kisses Fabi, Juana tells them ok ok leave already.
Fabi goes to talk to Andrea, she is happy that she was able to talk. She then asks her “what’s up with Jorge, I’ve noticed the way you guys look at each other, don’t forget Jorge is your cousin”
Julio calls the woman in charge of the private poker games tells her that he will make it to the Friday night game after all because he has had some good luck. She hangs up and tells Emilia that something good must have happened to Julio because he now is going to the game. Then she tells Emilia Julio is so handsome I am surprised you are letting him slip from your hands. Emilia tells her that if she would only meet Ozzie, she would understand that Julio is actually pretty old compared to her young stud. On to another topic Emilia asks her friend if she still has her apartment at Polanco. Well indeed she does have her apartment and she hardly uses it so she is more than welcome to use it whenever. And on to even one more topic, “don’t you feel guilty about screwing your daughter’s boyfriend?” “Nah Susie has had many boyfriends; this one is just one more in her collection.”
Augie and Frank talking about how Roxy is making up excuses to not be with him. Frank suggests that Roxy is simply a gold digger, so try to get rid of her, because she comes with baggage (Diego) why should Augie have to take care of someone else’s child anyway.
Fredesvina is telling Benito he should make time for his cousin Adalgisa, since she is staying with them. Benito tells Fredesvina that nope he has someone else to take care of, and he actually tells Fredesvina that it is Luisa, and Fredesvina completely ignores him, she pretends that she did not even here him. Ada is in her room looking at a picture of her mom and wonders out loud if Fredesvina is trying to pair her up with Benito. Well she does not want to get her hopes up because Benito is such a good catch. Well she then wishes her mom was alive to give her advice.
Tony with Diego, he asks his dad to read him a story. Tony gets a book. And Diego happens to ask about a little brother.
Maggie crying leaves Porfirio a
message. Call me I need a friend. But guess what he is busy cuddling with Vero
(get in line girl)
Emilia walks into Ozzie’s bedroom wants
to know if he has found a place to live yet, he is trying but has had no luck,
well change of plans I have found an apartment we can use to have our little rendezvous,
but you still need to find your own place. She goes over to kiss him and tells
"papi chulo" that she will give him 10k pesos for him to be able to
get a place.Juana serving breakfast to Ramon, Fabi and Andrea they are talking about what to do for fun today, they all make suggestions Fabi suggests the Marquesas , they can eat there, ride horses, and motorcycles.
At Virginia’s she asks Jorge if he would mind if they brought something to the house. “Why are you going to rent Ozzie’s room he might come back” Virginia explains that no she just wants to bring someone that needs a lot of care, well it better not be granny horror. No she would be the last person Virginia would ever bring to their house. He gets call from Fabi inviting him to go with them to Marquesas, he said he had to study but he will do tonight. I’ll go. Hangs up asks Virginia if she wants to go she can’t she has things to do but have fun.
Julio goes to visit Hortensia for his
weekly Sunday breakfast, but she forgot it was Sunday. He asks her how she is
doing, well she is just fine, but none of her grandkids have visited her, well
why don’t you visit them, nope not going to humiliate herself she says. Well if
you don’t you will end up alone. She asks about Juana, has she started wasting
the money yet, no actually she is being careful. Well Hortensia doubts it
because she is just a maid after all, she will not know what to do with money.
Ramon, Fabi and Juana on horses. Horse
will not go so Juana asks Ramon for help he goes to help her slaps the horse’s
ass and the horse takes off, Juana panics because she cannot stop the horse, she yells for help, and Ramon goes to save her.
Ramon gets to her, and Juana just wants to get off she is not going to continue
on horse.
Fredez, asks Benito to go with her to the basilica de Guadalupe with Ada, but Benito won’t go because he is going out with Luisa, tells Fredez that Luisa is his girlfriend, freed pretends to not hear him, he leaves, and then we realize that yes she indeed heard and is not at all happy about Luisa being Benito’s lady.
Fredez, asks Benito to go with her to the basilica de Guadalupe with Ada, but Benito won’t go because he is going out with Luisa, tells Fredez that Luisa is his girlfriend, freed pretends to not hear him, he leaves, and then we realize that yes she indeed heard and is not at all happy about Luisa being Benito’s lady.
At the park Juana and Fabi decide to go
for quesadillas, they call Jorge. Ramon comes over and Fabi asks him don’t you
suspect that Andrea and Jorge are kind of acting suspicious. “Well if I did not know that they’re cousins
I would think that they are boyfriend and girlfriend.” Fabi not too happy about
that. She worries.
Tony arrives to Roxy’s to drops off Diego,
Augustin sees him getting there, and follows him into the building. Tony goes
in leaves Diego and as Tony leaves Augie comes to the door and asks what the
hell is tony doing there. No wonder Roxy is not paying him any attention, Augie
goes crazy and calls her a floosy, tony says don’t talk to her like that, well
Aguie says “ well she is lying to both of
us” Roxy gets upset at his accusations and says you have nothing to do here, so
leave. I will, keep her if you want, she is worth nothing. He leaves, but poor
Diego heard the whole confrontation.
Virginia is doing her PI work again and
goes to the place on the parking ticket that she found on the floor to figure
out why Julio had been at that place.
Dalia arrives at the shop and Rulo tells her she looks better then ever, Dalia tells him to stop because she is mad at him still.
She walks into Fabiolas’s office and tells her that if she is going to give Ramon her things tell him to take care of them. Dalia then places the earrings that she found in Ramon’s room t on Fabi’s desk. Fabi picks them up and says these earrings are not mine.
She discovers that there is a casino at
that location and correctly guesses that Julio is probably gambling again, she
is very upset. She then begins remembering all the clues that she missed: the
selling of Ozzie’s car, the missing money for her business taxes, her many
nights out. She walks into the casino and begins to imagine him there at slot
machines, at the poker table, as the dealer. She begins to panic, and has
difficulty breathing. Emilia sees Virginia and asks if she is ok. Virginia says
she’s fine and uses her inhaler.
At Roxy’s Diego is crying and tells Tony
that he does not want him fighting because he wants nothing to happen to him.
Tony says he will not fight, he just got upset. Diego then says “I want you two
to be together, why do you have to have a boyfriend or girlfriend” Tony is at a
loss for words, tries to calm him down. Roxy gets a call from Virginia; she
wants to come over to tell her something important. But she can’t because Tony
just had a fight with Augie.
Benito is trying to get a hold of Luisa,
texts her that he talked to his mom.
Tony asks Roxy why she did not tell Augie
about her pregnancy. Because she doesn’t think it’s Augustin's. He doesn’t want
kids and takes care of himself. Well Tony wants a DNA test.
He leaves, and gets a call from Maggie.
She wants to know if they are going to see each other, well not today because
tony is in a bad mood, better wait until tomorrow or the next day girly. Give
him time to simmer down. She asks if he knows if the child Roxy is expecting is
his, well not yet but will ask for a DNA test. They hang up and Maggi thinks he
doesn’t even know if the child is his and she is already losing him, boohoo!!!
Juana gets to the house and sees Luisa there, hey what you are doing here on a
Sunday. Benito rubs his leg, as if Luisa had kicked him.
Maggie waits for Porfirio at his
apartment when he gets there with Vero; they are enjoying each other’s company.
Maggie thinks it was a bad idea to come to see him, she will see him tomorrow.
She leaves. Vero tells him to go after her if he wants she does not mind. He
says he won’t go after her. Vero smirks her usual smirk and says she wishes that
Sunday would never end because she is so happy. Porfi says it’s not over yet
and they go into his apartment.
In Juana’s bedroom Luisa is crying about
the 5 years she has waste with Benito. “Can you believe it he says that he told
Fredesvina, that I am the woman of his life, and that she ignored him” “I don’t
buy it” Juana agrees that it sounds like a lie. Luisa has decided to forget him
forever, he is dead to her. Juana agrees that it is a good idea.
Ramon walks in sees her cry and wrongly
assumes it’s because of Dalia, Juana and Luisa don’t correct him. He says he
will talk to Dalia but Juana tells him to leave it alone.
Ramon and Fabi are saying good bye in
front of her door, he tells her that he does not want to leave, that he wants
her to make room for her in her bed. She would but what will they tell Juana.
They continue to kiss and then the Horror shows up and tells them to go in that
she needs to talk to them. They go in and then she sees Jorge and Andrea
together. She tells all four to sit because she will read them their
“cartilla”, in other words will tell them what’s what. She begins talking about
the families morals. And tells Ramon to
learn some common decency. Ramon leaves
and says he will do his best to become more decent by reading the manual she
recommends. She tells Juana she is staying to eat with her grandchildren
because she is trying to get closer to them.
Luisa and Ramon leave the building and
run into Benito, he asks if they are leaving Luisa answers very rudely and Ramon
notices tells her Benito is nice and she says he is just too nosy. Benito texts
her tells her that he did talk to his mom. She ignores him.
Julio calls Virginia asks her where she
is because there is no one home, she’ll be right over. She says to herself that
she will catch him there one day.
Hortensia the horrible is at Fabi’s and asks about their lives, when Juana
answers for Andrea, HTH is rude and tells her that she is asking Andrea not
her. She asks about other things like the money and the investments Julio has
suggested and again is rude to Juana. Fabiola tries to defend her. Then HTH
feels faint and Fabi notices it, HTH dismisses it and says it was nothing.
Jorge gets up to leave and HTH says make sure the two of you are not spending
too much time alone it looks bad. HTH says she will be keeping an eye on Juana
and wants to make sure that she does not waste the money.
Jorge and Andrea are in the hallway
complaining about HTH, Andrea and Jorge talking about how she will react when
she finds out that they love each other. They are about to kiss when Virginia
gets out of the elevator. She asks them what are they doing there go in.
HTH asks Fabi about Frank, she says he
is such a good catch with such a good family she does not understand why they
broke up with him. HTH gets up to leave because she feels tired. When HTH is
gone Fabi says she can’t stand her. Juana reasons that if her mother was able
to stand her than they should be able to as well.
At Virginia’s Jorge tells her and Julio
that they ate already with the Granny. Julio likes that. Andrea has to leave so
Jorge walks her out. Since Julio ate
already Virginia is going to bed.
Andrea is in bed looking thru the book Jorge
gave her and finds many love notes, she texts him and asks if they are for her.
Of course who else, you are the love of my life he replies. They say good night
and Andrea says she will dream about him like every night.Dalia arrives at the shop and Rulo tells her she looks better then ever, Dalia tells him to stop because she is mad at him still.
She walks into Fabiolas’s office and tells her that if she is going to give Ramon her things tell him to take care of them. Dalia then places the earrings that she found in Ramon’s room t on Fabi’s desk. Fabi picks them up and says these earrings are not mine.

Virginia is stumbling onto the truth with Julio, but she needs to move a bit more quickly.
How many of those cute little leather jackets have we seen on Fabi? I think there have been four:.Pink Beige Brown and I think Blue. Thigh Gap only has that Mauve Burgundyish one she wears all the time. Same “Zippers Everywhere” style.
Who feels sorry for Margaritta sitting alone in her Luuurve Nest crying? I am not 100% sure, but I think Vero was just biding her time and taking it NON-TN Slow to get the unadvertised prize Porfi. She still has the Verrrro smirk, is that just her? She looks pretty convincing with Porfi.
One question for the patio: Are Juana and the girls living with HTH or nearby? I thought earlier there was much ado about HTH allowing Wanna? to come back, now that she was the legal owner of the Million $, but now it looks like HTH is complaining that the girls do not visit.

Unfortunately, that does not appear to be the case. Kindness is a good quality but these doesn't seem to be too much substance there. I had hoped she would show some spunk and start her own restaurant, the first step in creating an actual life for herself. Serving the close to adulthood girls cannot be terribly fulfilling.

Julio had some nerve asking Virginia where she was and why she wasn't home. Her shadowing efforts have not been too successful. Perhaps she should leave that to the professionals. Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly may welcome the work :)

I am enjoying that we don't know who will end up together. I thought it was terrible Augustin said what he did to Roxy in front of Diego. Loser. I still think Antonio and Roxy will end up together.

one of the story lines that makes is uncomfortable is the Jorge/Andrea relationship. I have two first cousins who married each other. they are college educated and near retirement age. they have two successful children(ie hold professional jobs). the thing is, they didn't grow up near one another. they just saw each other on holidays. they also talked to my dad about his knowledge of odd family illnesses as he is our genealogy expert. i agree it is icky but theirs is one of the few relationships in my family that has lasted over time.
anyone else annoyed by Ramon's habit of talking right after taking a huge bite of food?
I also hope Virginia steps up her investigations and catches Julio soon!

one of the story lines that makes is uncomfortable is the Jorge/Andrea relationship. Thank you so much, Sandie! A big thank you to RGV and Cynthia as well. You three are our Luisa and Benitos, popping up just when we need you with a lots of humor and heart. I have to say, this show gets so much mileage out of the comic timing of these two. Add Fredesvinda denial and the laughs just keep on coming.
Not just that, but I feel this show would be near unwatchable without Fabiola's and Ramon's chemistry. They are so cute when they're together and happy. It's the perfect love story to wind down with, just sweet and romantic.
As for Andrea and Jorge, the writers could've explored what kissing cousins would look like a little more without revealing the truth about Jorge's origins. Yes, it will make people uncomfrotable, but you are putting this storyline knwoing the reaction it would cause so I'd wish they commit a little more before letting the audience in on the joke.
Now Benito and Adalgiza are real-real cousins so Fredesvinda's pushiness is just eww.
Speaking of, anyone else notice how Emilia and Osvaldo need do the deed before our eyes? Not that I want to see but I wonder why that is? Usually sex storylines run rampant but only a little pop kiss here and there and then a throwaway line about how the sex was "great." Emilia has no shame though especially what she told Greta about Susana and her bfs. Wow.
Now that Agustin told Roxana to take a hike, that child is 98% his. Watch.

I'm having a hard time watching because of the saccharine overload with Ram/Fab and And/Jorge.
I, again, am in the minority, because I don't see why Ramon and Fab are attracted to each other. I don't find either overly appealing.

Well, there is a 50% possibility! I hope not for several reasons.
There is no way Roxie is ending up with Augustin. They've basically both agreed to call it quits. Also, he already said he isn't interested in having a child at this point. I had a crush on mine when we were teens . ..actually he was the son of my cousin. He even asked his mother if cousins could marry. I asked him to a school dance , and my girlfriends' all had a crush, too. Blonde , blueeyed 6ft. What's not to like?. Then, he asked me on a hayride and the light dawned when the other couples were necking and I had an epiphany...eww..I can't kiss him..he's my cousin.

Kirby the second part of your question about Juana living near HTH she rescinded the complaint against Ramon at the station which then allowed Juana to go back to the apartment building to live with the girls. Which as Carvivlie clarified is the same building where The other members of the HTH clan live.

Everyone lives in that building except Margarita (and Roxana). I think Julio & Co. live in the same floor as Hortensia but the girls and Juana live in a floor above. They should've called this Condominium Love or something because that building connects more people than storylines. Luisa and Benito work there too!
Ugh, Antonio and Roxana as endgame is so bleh though. And I would hate that Margarita falls for Porfirio, especially when Veronica is clearly better.
More interesting: will Agustin discover Julio's plan now that he works at the same solar energy company Julio wants Juana to invest in?

I agree that Fabi's and Ramon's chemistry is fun to watch, but I also am annoyed with the "saccharine overload" that has been occurring lately. I don't know about anyone else here, but, IMO, they need to CUT IT DOWN a notch!! especially when they are in front of others... maybe because I was raised to believe that an excessive display of affection is not appropriate in public. I kiss here and there is not bad, but when they practically undress each other and are all over each other without caring who is around is immature and even disrespectful...again, IMO. The other things that don't sit well was Ramon imitating the monkey, and, as Rena noted, Ramon talking right after taking a mouthful of food. I prefer the serious, respectful Ramon I met at the beginning of this TN.

IE: Wanna? had raised the girls pretty much and lived with them and their now deceased parents. ALONG with one parent's Mother (being kind for the moment) Hort The Horrible. Then after the deaths it was Wanna?, Hort, and the girls living together, then Hort kicked Wanna? out. Leaving Fab, Andrea, and Hort living in one housing unit. (apartment)
Hort finally lets Wanna come back, and now appears to live closeby,but not with her. Are the girls living in their parents former apt with Wanna? withoput Hort?

I guess what I meant about chemistry is not so much the PDA but how they are with each other. How they have those moments of no dialogue and they just look at each other and you believe these two people are in love. When he offers her hot food and she takes it but they laugh when he's too hot. Or how she nuzzles his neck. Idk, the little things.
As for the food, I think that;s just Jose Ron. When he was in Codigo Postal and La Mujer del vendaval, h would do this in food scenes. It's his thing since he's actually eating the food with gusto, which actors usually don't do.

I think that Ramon is being portrayed of a warm, fuzzy, downtoearth type of guy. The guy is definitely a hugger. Fab could dial back the perky as far as I am concerned. PDA opinions vary.
I think that a lot of the family lives in that one apartment building. It was not uncommon here in the U.S. for families to live in close proximity to each other. Hubba's maternal grandmother and her sisters and her son all lived on the same block in a small town.

Fabiola is very perky right now but I prefer that to the bratty thing we got in the beginning. She was insufferable. It seems Dalia has inherited that trait now, ugh!

I think Fredesvinda wanted Benito to herself. If this is not going to be the case, she'd rather he marry someone that looks better, speaks English and Spanish and can upgrade their pedigree. Of course, she can also control Adalgiza better and keep his child close and entertained. She knows Luisa has a strong personality like she does and will put up a fight, which Fredesvinda will definitely lose.

Very busy day today, but the patio never fails to bring on some smiles and a break from the norm.
