Enamorandome de Ramon #38 10.4.17: Harsh Truths & Merciful Lies

Dalia hands Fabiola Sofia’s earrings and hopes that, in the future, Ramon takes care of the things she leaves in his house. Fabiola looks at the earrings and tells Dalia that they are not hers though Dalia already suspected she would never own anything so expensive but wonders where Ramon got them. Fabiola wants to know if she’s assuming Ramon stole them but Dalia tells her that he would never do that though she wonders who could’ve given them to him. Just then, Ramon comes in, sees the earrings, and asks what they are doing there. Fabiola explains that Dalia brought them to her because she thought they were hers and he left them at Luisa’s. Dalia apologizes as she never wanted to cause a problem and Dalia, quickly, takes her leave so they can talk. Once alone, Fabiola demands to know who owns the earrings. Ramon admits that they are Sofia’s and he forgot to return them. Fabiola doesn’t believe his story, as no one would forget about diamond earrings, and assumes Sofia paid him for something or he kept them. Ramon doesn’t like her insinuations but Fabiola doesn’t know what else to think. Ramon reminds her that a relationship is based on trust and she doesn’t trust him so they can’t continue their relationship. He goes to leave but Fabiola demands he take the earrings as she doesn’t want to see them. He obliges as Dalia, who has been listening by the door and grinning from ear to ear, silently sits back at her desk. Fabiola sits down, dejected, and begins to cry.

Ramon leaves the office and passes by Dalia’s desk. She asks if he is going to tell her the truth about the earrings but Ramon throws them in the garbage and walks away. Dalia, with a smile, plunks them out and holds them.

Fabiola continues to cry in her office and assumes that Ramon is only with her to get her money. She tries to calm down and stop crying but can’t.

Outside, Ramon slams his fists against one of the toolboxes and wonders why Fabiola doesn’t trust him when he trusts her blindly.

Jorge bids Virginia, who is having breakfast at the table, good morning and goes to leave but she stops him because she needs to talk. Jorge tells her that he’s late and must pick up Andrea but Virginia wants to talk precisely about her. She asks him if the three of them can talk in the afternoon and Jorge nods before leaving.

Dario, Rulo’s partner in crime, receives a visit from Francisco. Francisco tells him that he comes highly recommended from his co-worker, Leopoldo, and he needs him to teach someone a lesson.

Juana tells Andrea that she is going to call Dr. Linares to see if she can get an appointment for her soon so they can tell him that she talked. Juana chides her for only saying Jorge, and not Juana, but then goes to answer the door. It’s Jorge, who hurriedly asks Andrea to come with him as they are late. Juana asks him what the problem is, as it looks like he’s seen a ghost, but Jorge shakes his head. Andrea then goes with him as Juana wonders what is wrong.

By Jorge’s car in the parking garage, Jorge tells Andrea that he’s sure Virginia caught them last night by the elevator as she wants to talk to them in the afternoon. Andrea worries but Jorge tells her that he won’t deny that he loves her anymore and whatever needs to happen, will.

Margarita is working in her office when Porfirio comes in and asks about their pending conversation. Margarita thinks it’s pointless, as he is going to say, “I told you so,” but reveals that Roxana is pregnant and it could be Antonio’s. Porfirio chides her for her choice of boyfriend but Margarita doesn’t need the reminder. She does think he is very infatuated with Veronica and asks him what she gave him. Porfirio explains that she gave him what Margarita never could despite his many advances. He then tells Margarita that he would like to transfer Sols account to Veronica, since she built great rapport with them during their dinner, but Margarita reminds him that she has handled that account from the beginning. Porfirio doesn’t budge though and Margarita tells him that, since he is the boss, he makes all the final decisions. She then stomps out of the office to “got get a coffee.”

Moments later, Margarita goes into the break room, closes the door, and wills herself not to cry. She can barely contain her tears though and goes to pour herself a cup of coffee. She only manages to spill the hot liquid everywhere before she curses Porfirio for also choosing someone else over her.

Antonio is looking up DNA tests when the baby is still in the womb; he finds that the tests are relatively safe. Just then, Fabiola walks in and asks him to sign some documents though he asks her why she has the long face. Fabiola shakes her head and tells him it’s nothing before noticing the DNA search on the computer screen. She asks him about it and Antonio explains that Roxana is pregnant and the baby may be his. Fabiola asks if Margarita knows and Antonio nods before telling her that Margarita has been very understanding but he has no idea what he will do if the baby is his. He gives her back the documents and she offers him an ear to talk to, should he need it. He thanks her and she leaves.

Roxana goes to the DNA doctor, who has received her test results. He tells her that the DNA sample she brought into the clinic do not match the baby’s DNA. Roxana begins to freak out and tells the doctor that the baby must be Antonio’s. The doctor asks if Antonio is her husband and Roxana nods before explaining that they were separated and she had a relationship with another man during that time, who doesn’t want to have a baby, while Antonio is a wonderful father and she hoped this new baby would repair their relationship. She confesses that she wants to keep her baby but she would have to abort it unless he helps her. The doctor asks how and Roxana begs him to change the results so that Antonio is the baby’s father or she will abort the baby. The doctor agrees because he took an oath to bring life into the world, not take it away, and it is the lesser of two evils. Roxana nods.

Margarita exits the break room and runs into Veronica. She tells her that she will give her the Sols file immediately but Veronica explains that she asked Porfirio to not make the change though Margarita knows the kind of woman she is. Veronica demands an explanation and Margarita tells her that she knows how to play her cards and is now even the boss’s girlfriend. Veronica doesn’t care what she thinks of her, she just doesn’t want any problems, but Margarita won’t stand in her way as she wants to see how far Veronica is willing to go. When she lives, Veronica calls her an idiot under her breath.

In the university, Osvaldo sells a student an exam and the student asks about his friend, who is struggling. Osvaldo tells him he could get the exam but it’s not guaranteed though it will be extra as his friend is not a steady client. The student leaves as does Osvaldo, who then notices a sign on the wall advertising a room for rent. He pulls out his cell phone and dials the number.

In the shop, the guys ask Ramon if he wants to go to lunch but he shakes his head and they go as Fabiola arrives. Ramon asks if she wants to talk but Fabiola does not as he has had amble time to come up with some story. He tries to pull her toward him but she asks that he not touch her. Ramon asks her what she thinks of him and Fabiola asks the same and leaves though Ramon reminds her that he wanted to talk and clear the air. She storms off as Ramon shakes his head.

Rulo goes to see Dario, who tells him that a guy paid him some good money to beat up another outside his apartment that night. Rulo agrees to come after work and then leaves.

As Fabiola has a tea by herself in a nearby café, she gets a text from Francisco, who has spoken to her in a while, and would like to call her. Fabiola considers this.

Francisco smiles at his text as he receives a call from Osvaldo, asking about the room for rent. Francisco gives him the address and tells him that he can come visit right now as he is home. Osvaldo agrees.

Juana and Julio go to visit his lawyer to sign the power of attorney documents giving Julio complete control to invest as he sees fit in any company. Juana looks it over, agrees that everything looks okay, and they both sign. The lawyer then takes the documents to the notary so they can be recorded in public record. Once alone, Juana thanks Julio for his help and he calls the solar energy company to tell them that they are ready to transfer the money ASAP. Once he’s hung up, Julio tells Juana that she will now be a shareholder at the company, much to her surprise.

Francisco opens the door to Osvaldo and they are both surprised to see each other. Osvaldo explains that he left his home because of his constant problems with Julio and is looking for a place to stay. Francisco laments this and Osvaldo asks about his wedding to Fabiola. Francisco explains that Fabiola and he broke up over a vile mechanic, Ramon, and Osvaldo shocked that his cousin would exchange Francisco for Ramon. Francisco is sure he is after Fabiola for her money as Juana was able to claim the insurance policy money. Osvaldo can only shake his head.

That night, Julio visits Juana and tells her everything at the solar company is ready to go but she needs to make an electronic wire transfer tomorrow. Juana has no idea how to do this but she can go to the bank tomorrow. Julio proposes she cut him a check instead and he will take care of it. Juana agrees and goes to get her check book as Julio sits on the couch and smiles. She comes back a moment later and asks him for help with writing the check. He pulls out his phone, converts the dollars to pesos, and Juana asks him to fill out the check so she can sign. He obliges and she signs where he tells her. He then assures her that she will receive a copy of ever transaction and bids her good night. Juana thanks him again and closes the door.

Antonio goes to visit Roxana and tells her that he has been investigating DNA labs and has a few suggestions. He hands her a piece of paper and Roxana tells him that she pulled up the same results and they should visit the one closest to them. Antonio agrees and asks her to make the appointment. Roxana will and then Antonio goes to visit Diego, who is playing in his room. Once alone, Roxana smiles to herself.

Juana calls the sisters for dinner and tells them about Julio’s visit. Neither Andrea nor Fabiola react so Juana asks them what is wrong. She asks Fabiola if she had any problems at work or with Ramon but Fabiola doesn’t want to talk about it. Juana then tells Andrea that she got an appointment for her but Andrea can only nod as she texts Jorge about Virginia, who has not arrived home for their talk yet. Juana tells them that she is going to talk to Luis Miguel then, since neither of them will talk to her, but the girls don’t say anything.

Roxana calls the doctor to make the appointment as Antonio comes from Diego’s room. Once she’s hung up, she tells him that she made the appointment for tomorrow midday and Antonio agrees before bidding her good night and leaving. Once alone, Roxana goes to her room.

Osvaldo packs up his things as Susana begs him to leave tomorrow or stay a little longer as Emilia isn’t home. Osvaldo prefers to leave ASAP, especially because they will be more comfortable in Francisco’s apartment, and then asks for Emilia’s number so he can thank her, personally. Susana doesn’t agree but Osvaldo doesn’t want Emilia to think he is ungrateful. Susana laments and gives him the number, which Osvaldo calls. He receives no answer and sends her a text message, asking Emilia to call him soon as he would love to have her in his bed tonight.

Jorge calls Virginia to ask her where she is as she wanted to talk to him and Andrea ASAP. Virginia, who is waiting outside the casino for Julio, tells him that she will be there soon. She hangs up, sees Julio arrive, and follows him.

Jorge texts Andrea to come over as Virginia is close to arriving home for their talk.

Antonio goes to visit Margarita and confesses that Roxana is going to do the DNA tests tomorrow. Margarita is happy as she would like to know who the father is ASAP. Antonio holds her hands and asks her why she is so understanding when any other woman would’ve dumped him already. Margarita thinks that it is because she loves him and secretly hopes the baby isn’t his. Antonio nods and asks her to hug him and not think about anything else. She obliges with a smile.

Julio goes to the cashier’s desk and changes the money into chips. The cashier wishes him luck and he smiles before running into Emilia, who is on her way to the cashier’s desk. He gives her a kiss on the cheek and she tells him she will see him soon before leaving. Virginia, having seen the exchange, confronts Julio and demands to know if this is what he spends her money on: gambling and hookers. Julio asks her to go outside and calm down but Virginia calls him a dirtbag who lied to her face but she is going to tell Juana about his plans right now. As she turns to leave, Julio grabs her and Virginia begins to scream. As security surround Julio and hold him back, Virginia loosens herself from his grasp and leaves. Julio demands they let him go as Virginia is his wife and he is a faithful client but the men ask him to calm down while they check his credentials with the manager or they will take him to the police station.

As Ramon walks home, Dario sees him and points him out to Rulo, who turns around and sees that it is Ramon, and then Dario signals him to put on their masks and attack Ramon. Ramon doesn’t see them coming, as he is trying to turn the key to his front gate, and they beat him mercilessly.

Virginia, who can’t stop crying uncontrollably, calls Juana, who answers on the first ring, and tries to tell her the truth about Julio but she doesn’t see the traffic light change from green to yellow. She swerves to avoid a car that was trying to turn at the intersection, screams into the phone, and crashes into a nearby tree. The airbags deploy and Virginia is knocked unconscious.

Juana tries to talk to Virginia but the line drops. She calls Fabiola and tells her that she heard a scream and what sounded like a crash but Fabiola thinks she’s exaggerating. Juana asks her to call Virginia back though, to make sure she’s okay, and Fabiola obliges but no one answers. Fabiola asks her to wait for her call back but Juana is worried as Virginia never calls, then the call drops and now she can’t get in touch with her. She prefers to call Julio to ask, just in case.

Julio is trying to reason with security at the casino when Juana calls. He reluctantly answers and Juana tells him about Virginia’s strange call. He offers to find out what happened and then hangs up. The manager then apologizes for what happened and tells him that he is welcome at the casino any time. Julio nods and leaves.

Rulo and Dario leave Ramon on the ground and leave as two men arrive and see them, without masks. Ramon tries to stand up as the man and his son try to help. They ask Ramon if he is okay and Ramon confirms he is but needs their help getting his keys so he can get home.

In his car, Julio wonders what happened with Virginia and why she didn’t say anything to Juana. Just then, he sees an ambulance driving in the opposite direction and remembers what Juana said. He looks to his right, sees the crashed and runs to it but Virginia is not inside. He asks the policeman where she is and he explains that she was taken to a hospital. Julio gets back in his car and follows the ambulance.

The two men help Ramon into bed and hand him a cloth with some ice. One of them thinks he should go to the hospital, as it looks like he has a broken rib, and Ramon asks if he can borrow their cell phone to make a call. The man obliges and he calls Juana to tell her what happened. Juana asks him how he is and Ramon confirms he’s bruised but okay and two men helped him. He asks her to come as soon as she can and Juana tells him she will before hanging up. Fabiola tells Juana that Jorge can take them and they both leave to find him.

Jorge and Andrea worry that Virginia is taking so long she will arrive with Julio but Jorge doesn’t care, he won’ allow anyone to separate him from Andrea and will tell them so. Just then, Fabiola and Juana arrive and tell him what happened to Ramon and if they can help. Jorge tells Andrea that they will talk to Virginia later and leave with them.

The EMTs bring Virginia to the hospital and run into Francisco, who asks about her vitals. They tell him that she is semi-conscious, has ragged breathing and possibly has internal hemorrhaging. He goes with them to the OR.

Just then, Julio arrives at the front desk and inquiries about Virginia. The employee calls the OR and tells him that she arrived and is in surgery so he can’t see her but he can fill some documents for her while they wait. Julio obliges.

The men ask Ramon who he feels and he admits that his ribs hurt as Juana & Co. arrive. Juana goes to him and holds his hand as one of the men explain that he doesn’t want to go to the hospitals but should and offers to take him. Juana thanks him and tells him that they will take him. The men bid them goodbye and go as Jorge asks him if he knows who attacked him. Ramon shakes his head and explains that he was attacked from behind but Fabiola tells them to take Ramon to a hospital first and then they can find out what happened. They agree and Jorge helps him up.

Dario and Rulo celebrate a job well done. Rulo confesses that he’s been dying to give Ramon a beat down since he broke his nose and then destiny put him right in his lap. Dario now understands that this is why he beat him with so much force and Rulo asks him who ordered the job. Dario tells him that it was a tall, bearded guy and Rulo nods realizing who it was. Dario then texts Francisco and tells him that the job he ordered is done.

Juana & Co. take Ramon to the hospital and she takes him with the nurse to one of the rooms as the rest wait outside. Jorge laments Ramon’s luck as it’s the second beat down he’s received and Fabiola nods. Jorge then leaves to park the car and Andrea asks Fabiola if she’s in a fight with Ramon. Fabiola nods and explains that Dalia gave her a pair of earrings, which Ramon had in his possession, and belonged to his ex-girlfriend. Andrea shrugs, not seeing the big deal, and Fabiola confesses that she’s scared Ramon is using her to forget Sofia or, worse, is using her to get money out of her. Andrea reminds her that he’s Juana’s son but Fabiola doubts that Juana even knows him. Just then, Jorge comes and asks if they know anything new but the sisters shake their heads.

Francisco operates on Virginia and tries to stop the bleeding to no avail. They try to find another solution.

In the waiting room, Jorge and the sisters run into Julio, who tells them that Virginia crashed her, and Fabiola realizes that Juana heard the crash. Jorge demands to know how she is but Julio has no news as she’s still in the OR. Jorge then asks Fabiola why she wanted to talk to Juana but Fabiola doesn’t know. Jorge then goes to Andrea as Julio asks Fabiola what they are doing there. Fabiola tells him about Ramon as Jorge, out of earshot, tells Andrea that Virginia might’ve been calling Juana to tell her about their relationship and it is his fault she crashed. Andrea asks him to calm down but Jorge begins to cry. Andrea hugs him tight.

Osvaldo arrives at Francisco’s apartment with his bags and Susana. Agustin welcomes them and lets them in before explaining that Francisco had to cover a co-worker’s shift. Osvaldo nods and then goes to drop off his bags and show Susana his room. They come back a moment later and Susana tells him that she must go but will see him later. After a quick kiss, Susana leaves and Agustin confesses that he was surprised to learn Osvaldo is Fabiola’s cousin. Osvaldo smiles and tells him he didn’t know it was Francisco renting the room till he saw him. He then asks about Agustin, who explains that Francisco is helping him out till he gets settled as he moved to Miami for a job but it didn’t work out. Osvaldo then answers his ringing cell phone and it’s Fabiola, who tells him about Virginia’s accident. Osvaldo hands up and runs out.

Julio is in the hallways, remembering his last moments with Virginia. He cries as Fabiola approaches him and tries to comfort him. Julio blames himself though and curses Virginia for showing up at the casino at that exact moment. Juana and Ramon then come out of his room and Fabiola tells her what happened. Juana asks about Virginia’s health and hopes she gets well soon and everything works out. Julio thanks her and then asks Ramon how he feels. Ramon explains that he’s better as Juana asks Julio if he want a coffee. Julio shakes his head and suggests she go home with Ramon so he can get some rest but Ramon offers to stay and offers their support.

In the OR, the doctor tells Francisco that Virginia has multiple internal wounds and it’s getting hard to control the bleeding. The nurse tells him that her blood pressure is going down and Francisco suggests they use the defibrillator or they will lose her. He grabs the paddles and goes to shock her as Virginia flatlines…

Alfredo this is a Good recap.Ive only read part of it, the top part. Ill say this, fabi is such a jackass.
She acuse before hearing him out.And
Walks out. O yeah, they'll be easy to brake up, they're stupid and believe
The first thing they see, and they
Don't talk to each other which is Y
The evil can trip them up. Trust is
An issue with these two num-nuts. Ok
I'll comment more after sunrise.

Thank you Alfredo. Good nite all♡

"And he walks out". More tomorrow.
Nighty night.

Man, it sure is refreshing to have the AAA Express back on track. Thanks a lot Buddy.
So Fabi only had Dalia's word where the earrings came from?
Doesn't this burn any bridge to Ramoon for Dalia now?

Hey Margarine, better be nice to her, Vero is banging your boss.

Wanna? does not disappoint. She even signs papers like a retard hunched over with her nose almost touching the paper. Is her left eye larger?
Now we are getting somewhere. Virgi sees Jul kissing not Wanna? But his son's bedmate. Ha.

No wonder Virgi didn't make it, with Frankenfarter doctoring on her. I think she is just 'TN Dead'. :
“Wait What? You killed off Virginia last night? Well sharpen up your pencil jackass, and bring her back. We have already paid her for the next 45 episodes.!”
She actually has too much information to actually, really, for sure, be plum dead.

The fruit may not fall far from the tree with Ramoon too. How many more times will it take for him to connect the dots?

I'm with NiNa on Fabi. The whole family are a bunch of flakes. Run, Forest Run! Ramon would do better to head back to Ti-(no)Juana and leave this whole mess behind. I would rather mix it up with some sane mobsters than some cray cray socialites.

Not only my barn, look what Irma did to my house. I had it fixed up so nice too.

Thank you, Alfredo.

Dalia and the earrings. To the left is Ramon, to the right is Fabiola. To whom will she give the earrings she found in Ramon's room? From the point of view of Ramon, anyway you look at it, giving it to Fabiola is hostile action. Whether they are Fabiola's or not it puts Ramon in bad light. Therefore either she did it on purpose to cause harm or she is dumb enough to not understand that she is causing harm, but either way she is not a good friend. That is the conclusion Ramon should come to, but he seems to let go any bad thing Dalia does. Not smart.

Capricious Fabiola is back, jumping to conclusions with the slight provocation. Is it worth it for Ramon having to deal with the bad sides of Fabiola to get the good sides? I don't know, the good sides are pretty enticing.

Thank you, Alfredo, for the detailed recap.

Well, Julio cried , but he is still a lying, cheating, scheming, gambling guy.

I do not like Mary running to Porfi. Cannot stand Roxy. I hope she doesn't end up with Ant or Aug.She can do shared custody with both baby daddies.

Gee, I thought that the inhaler was foreshadowing the end of Virginia, but then we had the PSA about not using the cellphone while driving.

thanks Alfredo

it's funny how the writers use cell phones in storylines. Not that long ago, before ubiquitous cell phone ownership, it took forever for characters to talk to each other to share information. next when cell phones came on the scene major characters didn't have them or the phones weren't charged. now cell phone use causes car accidents (recently happened less lethally to Julieta in "mi marido") Cell phones are dangerous but they do make storylines move faster... yay!

(Susanlynn I too am a big Outlander fan and this season is great!)

Rena

"Harsh Truths & Merciful Lies" was perfect Alfredo.

Marvelous. Truly.

This was very grim overall. The crash was horrible and so was Ramon's beatdown. The tiny shadow of hope that existed for Rulo has been completely obliterated.

"Juana chides her for only saying Jorge, and not Juana". Ahh, Juana, will you ever rouse yourself from your sleepy haze??

“Ramon slams his fists against one of the toolboxes and wonders why Fabiola doesn’t trust him when he trusts her blindly”. I think he needs to refresh his memory. Has he already forgotten his haze of jealousy regarding BadFran, not five minutes ago? and "Capricious" was a great description of Fab, Lucio.

Alfredo, you nailed it yesterday that Augustin is the father! That said, congrats crafty Roxy. You found the one doctor in the world who will lie to protect your secret. The doctor agrees because he took an oath to bring life into the world, not take it away, and it is the lesser of two evils.

So, BadFran, Auggie and Oz. Three’s company and three idiots.

"She actually has too much information to actually, really, for sure, be plum dead". Excellent Kirby. I totally agree. First, she must survive to erase Jorge's belief that she crashed because of he and Andrea. Next, to tell the truth so those two krazy kids, Jorge and Andrea, can get together. And of course to make Julio's life even more of a living hell. That said, I agree Susanlynn. I think Julio's tears might have been one of the only honest emotions we've seen from him.

Julio's very bad day continued - unmerciful and relentless. How ironic that she now thinks her son's lover Emilia (cringing) is Julio's cheat! Twisted, sister.

I have been seesawing on the Marg/Porf/Vero triangle. First, I thought Vero was simply going to use Porf. Then, I thought she was sincere. Now, I don't know. Vero calling Marg an idiot is usually only uttered by people who've been caught doing something wrong. I will just have to see how this plays out.

Alfredo, thank you for the detailed, enthralling recap. Stellar.

Diana

Good Morning! AAA, marvelous retelling of the story, but then why am I surprised, your back!! Thank you!!

Kirby and NiNa, "I'm with NiNa on Fabi. The whole family are a bunch of flakes. Run, Forest Run!" OMGoodness, I would even include Ramon in there. In Double Vida we had no one but, Palomita that was "good.' Here we have a boatlaod of fools except for?? The ones that come to mind are Antonio and Jorge...any others, Patio?

Diana, “Ramon slams his fists against one of the toolboxes and wonders why Fabiola doesn’t trust him when he trusts her blindly”. I think he needs to refresh his memory." We are SO on the same page, I thought the exact same thing. He must have short-term memory problems.

Fabi overreacting, Yep, Lucio, she's ba-ack!

Diana, "Alfredo, you nailed it yesterday that Augustin is the father! That said, congrats crafty Roxy. You found the one doctor in the world who will lie to protect your secret. The doctor agrees because he took an oath to bring life into the world, not take it away, and it is the lesser of two evils." Seriously now, what kind doctor is that. Why would he have an abortion on his conscience if he can tell her to hit the road and find someone else to do her dirty work?

I think Virginia is definitely gone to the other side. She was being redeemed and getting to be a stronger woman. She had secrets that, if revealed, would cut the TN short. This leaves the road open for Julio AND Juana won't hesitate getting involved with a widower.

Diana, "I thought Vero was simply going to use Porf. Then, I thought she was sincere. Now, I don't know. Vero calling Marg an idiot is usually only uttered by people who've been caught doing something wrong." Me thinks she is evil...too good to be true.

Kirby, I missed you comment, "Not only my barn, look what Irma did to my house. I had it fixed up so nice too." So sorry about your house, but at least most of it and YOU survived...and the windows look unscathed, wow! Hope the repairs go smoothly and quickly.

Thanks so much Alfredo!!!

Oh I hope Virginia doesn't die. I mean the girls already lost their parents, do the cousins now need to lose their mom too?

So how much of that check did Julio take to the casino? All of it? And can somebody tell me if he did the conversion correctly? I have a suspicion he got her to write the check for more than agreed upon?

I really hate the way the writers have made Juana stupid. Who doesn't know how to write a check? She is not a country bumpkin. She lives in a city.

Rulo is beyond redemption for me.

Carvivlie: Do you remember Teo from "Yago" ?

He's now on Telemundo's "EL SENOR DE LOS CIELOS".

Yes, Diana, Alfredo's title was great, wasn't it?

So many of these people are just not working on all cylinders! And talk about roommates. Those three guys can on!y make each other worse.

Rena, my new best friend !!!! This season of Outlander is wonderful, and Sam is unbelievable. It's like a SCottish telenovela with the best galan ever no?

Steve, I can't remember Teo. Who was he?

Carvivlie: Ricardo Leguizamo portrayed Teo in "Yago".

I looked him up. I remember him now. He was good.

Alfredo superb for an episode that was quite a disappointment to me.

Fabiola back to her bratty self -- downer
Juana being more gullible than a turkey --downer
Ramon not jumping down on Dalia for being a b#$%&* -- downer
Virginia being in the accident and possibly dying -- big downer
Roxy making a doctor lie for her -- super downer
Jorge thinking it was his fault his mom was in the accident -- downer

Julio using 20,000 pesos out of the money gullible gave him -- expected (and yes Carvivlie, he had originally told her $100,000 not $120,000 dollars.)
Rulo going back to his ass self -- expected
Veronica being a fake -- expected
Julio crying about causing the accident -- big lie

Reading your recaps Alfredo -- Priceless thank you!

Thanks Sandie! I thought that conversion rate seemed quick and wrong. Will he learn at all from Virginia's accident, especially if she does die?

Sandie..wow...that is a great rundown of all the downers. Back!!

We are starting to see people reconsider choices that they have made. Roxy wants Ant back after putting him aside for an adventure. Marg seems to be more interested in Porfi now that someone else seems to want him and Ant might be going back to Roxy. Virginia is thinking about bringing her son home to care for.

I'm back...I don't think shes dead but
This could change Julio. For the better
He could stop the stupid craziness that is his life. And turn out to be
Someone worthy of jauana. Give her an
Education about things.Be a decent guy
For a change julio. And he can tell his son jorge about his brother benito,I think That's his name. Ossy might be a
Problemo. He's got this thing about the class, social standing crap. You heard what he said about fabi leaving franky
For someone like Ramon. He'd a got all
Beatup in my neighborhood with that atittude.Anyways she may not have kick
The bucket yet. We'll see if that med
School paid off tonight for Dr frankoo
.
Now fabi won't know what's going on if
She won't talk to the supposed love of
Her life. Now if she's dumb to go back
To Dr jackass, she deserve wbatever she
Gets. For being dumb. And he should have gotten rid of those earrings long
Ago. Like when she dumped him back in tiawanaland.

Rulo is dumb. Dalia deserves someone like him. What is she Gonna do with those earrings? She should hawk em and
Get some money and buy herself a brain
.
Roxy Roxy roxy...you scank you.That'll
Come back to Bite you on the kaboose. It Always does. Why people want to put the Heavey weight of a relationship on the Tiny shoulders of an infant is just totally cowardly and dumb. I can't see Him back with her.The woman is a flake.Treating her Virgina like pingpong ball between these 2 men. I'm sorry y'all but that's the way I see it. And now she brought the not To bright doctor into it. May be the lesser of 2evils but it still evil. And she Might not was gonna abort anyway. She Just needed some dumb doc to just supply a Piece of paper to legitimize the lie.If it's on paper, gotta be true
Lyin scank. Neither one of these men deserve her. Diego don't know what a lying liar his momma is, she's gonna use him too. Lying scanky liar. Did I
Mention how much of a liar she is?Liar
Well like the old folks used to say it
Will all come out in the wash.

"Harsh truths and merciful lies". Yeah
That works, but that one lie by Roxy
That's merciless. She's forcing five
People to live that lie, just so she can have her way. Lyin scank.

Thank you Alfredo:-)

Nina.. Wow...I am getting the feeling that you do not like Roxy!!! She cannot seem to make up her mind! I would be afraid that once Ant takes her back, she starts to think that she should have chosen the real baby daddy Auggie. A bit flighty our Roxy ...a pretty face but a little lacking in brain cells and morals.

NiNa...did Rocksy tell a fib?

That Doctor "CHOOSING" the lesser of two evils is the most bogus reason I have heard yet to tell a life changing lie. He should have said: "Well, it will have half of your genes, you know, good call, I have someone I can recommend."

Liar, Liar pants on fire,
Roxie's virgina was afire!
Ant or Aug...who did sire?
Liar, liar, not one to admire.

Liar, Liar, pants on fire
Roxie wants to walk the wire
Althoug Ant did a DNA require
With the Doc she did conspire!

to be continued... :-)

OH MY ! Ya better hurry Tex, the next Ep is on in Ten here in FLA.
:-)

And I still think Virginia is alive, and what we saw was a dream or something.

How else do you explain Forkenfarter doing SURGERY?
