Enamorandome de Ramon #52 10.26.17: Missing Persons & Marriage Proposals

Sofia kisses Ramon, to prove that their love is still alive, as Rulo takes pictures from afar. Ramon tries to fight her off, but he’s stuck between her lips and a tree.

Juana welcomes Pedro into the apartment though she’s surprised to see him there. He came to invite her on an outing, but Juana would prefer to give him an answer to his proposal right now. Her answer is no; she esteems him and cares for him, but her answer is no.

Ramon pushes Sofia off him and tells her that he loves someone else and it’s not here. Sofia begs him to take her back as no one will love him like her, but Ramon reminds her that he believed her words once, at the risk of his life, and she played with him. Sofia reminds him that she had her reasons for what she did, and threatens to scream until Fabiola comes out, but Ramon doesn’t care, as Fabiola left to get ready for their wedding. Sofia is shocked.

Juana explains that it is not his age or lack of affection, but she has thought about it and realized she’s not a woman made for marriage. She’s always been alone and dedicated to her son and she’s used to that and doesn’t see herself with anyone. In fact, she thinks their marriage would be a failure if they would try it. Pedro nods but asks if there is someone else in her life, especially because he’s seen how interested Julio is in her. He also told Julio about his proposal as well but, ultimately, he knows that Juana doesn’t love him like he does because, if she did, she would want to share everything in her life with him.

Sofia doesn’t take no for an answer and reiterates that she was only trying to protect him, but Ramon reminds her that it’s pointless. Sofia threatens to go to the courthouse, but Ramon warns her to stay away from Fabiola, go back to Tijuana, and leave him be. He then goes back into his apartment as Sofia screams that no one will love him like she does.

From the van, Rulo and Dario laugh at how lucky Ramon is to have two gorgeous women fighting over him.

Pedro appreciates Juana’s honesty, but he would still like to remain friends. Juana smiles and tells him that she would love to as she wouldn’t like to lose him. Pedro nods and offers to take her on their outing, so she can see the sights and they can have some lunch. Juana agrees and goes to get ready.

In the salon, Fabiola is getting all dolled up when Andrea observes that she looks beautiful and happy. She is happy that she was wrong and her and Ramon will go to distance; she also knows that their parents would be happy to see how happy she is. Fabiola smiles and thanks her for being with her on her wedding day. Andrea reminds her that they have each other, always, and they hold hands.

As Ramon gets ready, he continues to hear Sofia’s screams and pleas. He wonders if she will follow him to the courthouse…Outside, Sofia gets tired of screaming and leaves. Rulo and Dario decide to get ready as Ramon is coming out soon and he will finally be alone. Just then, Francisco calls and reminds Dario that the wedding is in an hour, so he’d better hurry up. Dario tells him that they will have Ramon soon as he’s finally alone.

As Juana and Pedro leave the building, Julio observes them from his apartment window. He thinks that Juana is choosing Pedro over him and wonders if Pedro told Juana that he knows about the proposal. He then pulls out his phone and texts her.

In the car, Pedro and Juana talk about their trip and Juana receives a message from Julio, chiding her for not telling him about Pedro and playing with his feelings. Juana doesn’t answer and smiles at Pedro, who smiles back.

Fabiola calls Ramon and tells her that she’s ready and asks if he needs a ride to the courthouse. Ramon suggests she go ahead and he will meet them there. Fabiola can’t believe they will be married in an hour and neither can Ramon. They declare their love and then hang up.

Benito is sleeping soundly when Adalgiza goes inside his room and rouses him from his sleep. She apologizes for waking him up but Fredesvinda wanted to go out to eat. Benito is less than happy but ultimately agrees though he will sleep five more minutes and then shower. Adalgiza nods and leaves him to get ready.

Ramon comes out of the apartment building and looks around. He finds that Sofia is nowhere in sight and goes to hail a taxi when a van pulls up. Rulo and Dario jump out, in masks, as Ramon tries to run back into his building. At that moment, Sofia comes back, sees the commotion, and runs to Ramon. Ramon pushes off Dario and attacks Rulo, punching him various times, as Sofia jumps on Dario. Ramon sees her and goes to help but Dario pulls out a gun and aims it at them both. He warns Ramon and Sofia to be cool or else.

Fabiola and Andrea arrive at the courthouse and Fabiola smiles as Ramon will be there soon. Andrea tells her to be calm as she will be married soon.

Moments later, Dario and Rulo load and unconscious Ramon and Sofia into the back, cover their heads and tie them up. Outside the van, and with their masks off, Rulo asks Dario what they will do with Sofia as she wasn’t part of the deal. Dario reminds him that she was a witness, but he will call Francisco and ask him to decide. Francisco answers on the first ring and Dario tells him the problem: they had to kidnap the woman that was with Ramon and it looks like she likes him because she visited him last night. Francisco realizes that it’s who Dalia was talking about and asks Dario to go back into the apartment and pack some of Ramon’s close to make it seem like he left.

Valente arrives in Mexico City and hails a taxi. He hopes to arrive at the courthouse for the wedding ASAP.

As Ramon and Sofia struggle to get free, Dario and Rulo make sure they are tied up nice and tight before going back into the apartment. They pack some clothes and make it seem like Ramon left in a hurry. Dario then tells Rulo that he will ask Francisco for more money as all their doing now is extra work.

Fabiola asks Andrea if she invited Santiago, but Andrea shakes her head as she thought Fabiola wanted an intimate gathering. Fabiola tells her she could’ve, but she worries about Ramon, who appears to be late. Andrea wonders if he’s inside the courtroom and go check.

Rulo and Dario come out of the apartment as Ramon receives a call from Fabiola. Dario suggests he turn off the phone, for now, and Rulo obliges but decides to keep it as it’s nicer than his. They get into the van and drive away.

Fabiola and Andrea see that Ramon hasn’t arrived and continue to call him to no avail. Andrea thinks it’s ironic, as the groom usually waits for the bride, but she is waiting for the groom. Fabiola sees that the previous wedding is over and goes to talk to the judge as Ramon is not there yet. The judge agrees to wait for a bit, as they are the last wedding of the day, and asks for her ID so he can get the process started while they wait. Just then, Valente arrives and introduces himself. Fabiola tells him that she’s worried though as Ramon has not arrived. Valente is sure he’s on his way as Ramon was very excited when they talked yesterday.

As the time passes by, Fabiola looks more dejected and worried. Rulo and Dario continue to drive to their destination down a muddy, unpaved road into the wilderness.

Sometime later, the judge announces that he must go, and she will have to ask for another appointment. Fabiola understands and then edits the office with Valente and Andrea in tow. Fabiola worries that something has happened to Ramon, as he has been assaulted twice before, and goes to talk to the police.

Fredesvinda drags Benito and Adalgiza to Finito’s sub place, much to Benito’s annoyance. Fredesvinda explains that she wants a sub and this place has the best subs. Benito begs her not to do this to him and Adalgiza wonders what the problem is. Benito explains that it’s Finito’s business and he doesn’t want to see him lest he do something he’ll regret. Adalgiza nods and asks Fredesvinda to reconsider but the woman doesn’t budge.

Fabiola goes to the police station but finds no report on Ramon. She wants to file a missing person report, but she must wait 48 hours before someone is reported missing. Andrea suggests they call a missing persons hotline and the officer gives her the number though he thinks it will be futile as they have the same lists.

Finito welcomes Benito and Co. to his restaurant and Finito is happy to see them. He is surprised that Fredesvinda is speaking in English but Adalgiza explains the situation and he tries to take their order as best he can. Fredesvinda then complements his singing and Finito mentions that he is great at karaoke, bringing up sour memories for Benito, who imagines Luisa seductively dancing with Finito while he sings in her ear. He continues to get angry as he imagines Finito and Luisa dancing a seductive tango at the end of which Luisa swears nothing happened. Finito asks Benito what he would like, and Benito tells him he wants blood. Adalgiza realizes the problem and takes him aside to talk to him. Finito then sits down with Fredesvinda and wonders what happened.

Fabiola hangs up and tells Andrea and Valente that Ramon is not on that list either. Valente suggests they go back to the apartment and see if he had some trouble and couldn’t leave. Andrea offers to stay in the police station and wait as Fabiola and Valente go to the apartment.

Outside the sub shop, Benito hits the wall and tells Adalgiza that he saw Finito and Luisa dancing and touching each other. Adalgiza asks him to calm down and tells him that it’s not possible he saw them, he only imagined it. She chides him for being just as crazy as Fredesvinda just as Fredesvinda comes and asks what the problem is. Benito tells Adalgiza to tell his mother that Luisa cheated but, as always, Fredesvinda doesn’t acknowledge Luisa. Benito frustrated by the situation, declares that he doesn’t want anything and storms off. Adalgiza chases him as Fredesvinda smiles to herself and follows them.

Fabiola thanks Valente for driving as she’s too nervous. She then sees a man who looks like Ramon, from the back, walking on the street and calls out to him. The man turns around and Fabiola sees her mistake. She tells Valente to keep driving as she prays Ramon is okay.

The owner of Sofia’s apartment knocks on Margarita’s door and asks if she’s seen Sofia since she’s not in the apartment and they had a meeting. Margarita explains that she hasn’t seen Sofia, but she knows she had some personal problems and likely left. The owner asks that she tells Sofia, should she see her, to call her and leaves. Once alone, Margarita thinks it’s good Sofia left as she had nothing to stay for.

Fabiola receives a call from Andrea, who asks if they know anything, but Fabiola tells her no. Andrea then offers to call Jorge and asks for his help on social media. They hang up and Andrea calls Jorge to tell him what is happening. She asks for his help as Ramon is missing and they can’t find him. Jorge offers to go find her at the police station and hangs up.

Fabiola arrives at the apartment and calls out Ramon’s name while look around. She sees that he’s not there but notices the mess of clothes on the bed and floor. She remembers their conversation from last night, where he declared that he loved only her and not Sofia, and begins to cry. She screams that he grabbed his things and left with Sofia, much to Valente’s surprise.

Fredesvinda arrives home and begins to make the sandwich she couldn’t eat at Finito’s. Adalgiza and Benito follow and Adalgiza tells him to stop imagining things and realize that he has no proof that Luisa is cheating. Benito tells her that he will go find Luisa, much to Fredesvinda’s annoyance, and leaves.

Fabiola explains that Ramon told her that, even though Sofia was in Mexico City, he only loved and wanted to marry her. Valente tells her that he told him the same thing, but Fabiola declares that he’s a liar and the proof is in the way he grabbed his things and left. She curses herself for being so stupid but continues to cry as Valente tries to calm her down.

Jorge arrives at the station with his computer and tells her that they will upload Ramon’s stats on social media and see if they can find him. Jorge asks if they told Juana yet, but Andrea shakes her head as she receives a call from Fabiola, who tells her that Ramon grabbed his things and left. Andrea nods, hangs up and tells Jorge what happened. They decide to go and console Fabiola.

Luisa welcomes Benito to her house. She offers him a sandwich, but Benito is tired of sandwiches, especially after his mother dragged him to Finito’s sub shop. Luisa is confused, and Benito declares that he saw Finito and Luisa and Luisa assume that he’s talking about the kiss outside her house. Benito tells her that he saw them dancing tango, but Luisa reminds him that she doesn’t know how to dance tango but knows she was wrong to accept Finito’s invitation. She thought they had cleared the air though and Benito nods before telling her that his illusion was so real, he even saw them kissing. Luisa asks if she would forgive her if…but Benito doesn’t let her finish and tells her that he knows she’s incapable of lying to him. Luisa smiles, nervously.

Andrea and Jorge arrive at the apartment and Fabiola looks at them. Andrea runs to her sister and hugs her tight. Fabiola cries on her shoulder and tells her that Ramon lied and planned everything perfectly to leave her while she waited at the courthouse. Andrea wonders what happened, as Ramon was super excited about the wedding, and Fabiola tells her about Sofia’s visit. Fabiola is sure Ramon left with her and couldn’t face her afterward, so he left. Andrea hugs her again.

Pedro and Juana arrive at the building, back from their outing, and Pedro asks if he can give her a kiss goodbye. Juana accepts, and Pedro kisses her on the cheek as Julio looks on from his window. Pedro tells Juana that he’s happy they are still friends and Juana is too. She then bids him goodbye and goes inside.

Valente is still confused as every time he spoke with Ramon he always stated that Fabiola was the love of his life. Fabiola thinks he did until Sofia arrived and demands Valente tell her how important Sofia was to Ramon. Valente tells her the whole story but makes it clear that Sofia and Ramon never had anything before they met outside the church. He does know that Sofia told him she didn’t love him, and it probably had to do with the fact that her fiancée and father are narcos. Fabiola assumes Sofia declared her love for Ramon last night, told him everything, and he took her back. She curses Ramon for not telling her the truth and leaving her alone at the courthouse.

As Juana goes to the apartment, she runs into Julio in the hallway. He demands to know why she’s so happy after hanging out with Pedro and why she can’t understand that he’s angry about the fact that she prefers to hang out with Pedro. He gives her an ultimatum: tell him she doesn’t love him, and he will leave her alone. Juana can only stare.

Valente explains that Sofia did come looking for Ramon in Tijuana, but he gave her no details on his whereabouts. He told Ramon about her visit afterward, but Ramon wanted nothing to do with her and declared his love for Fabiola. Fabiola thinks that he changed his mind as soon as he saw Sofia, in person, but Valente is still not sure. Andrea just thinks they were wrong about Ramon and Fabiola declares that she left everything for Ramon and all he did was play with her feelings.

Juana demands to know if he is angry because he found out about Pedro’s proposal, but Julio chides her for not telling him herself. He demands to know what her answer was, and Juana tells him that she rejected Pedro’s proposal but that doesn’t mean she wants to be with him. Julio wants to know what her game is, but Juana is playing no games though she wants to know what his game is. Julio isn’t playing a game either, he loves and needs her like the air he breathes. He kisses her then and Juana tries to fight him off but, ultimately, relents.

Andrea helps Fabiola pack up her things, so she can go back home but Fabiola doesn’t want to go back there as she doesn’t want to hear the “I told you so’s” or see Juana’s face after what Ramon did to her. She knows her family has never been at her side so why should they be now. Andrea declares that she is by her side, as does Jorge, and even Valente, though he doesn’t know her family. Fabiola thanks them all but she is prepared to face the future alone. Andrea and Jorge beg her to let them help her though and Andrea hugs her again.

Juana and Julio separate, and he tells her that they need to stop fighting their feelings and accept what they feel. He wants to know what she needs to prove his love and gets down on one knee to propose marriage. Juana is shocked and watches in silence as he proposes.

Andrea asks Fabiola where she will go, and Fabiola thinks she will go to a hospital. Jorge then she shouldn’t be alone, and Valente proposes she stay in Ramon’s apartment, for now at least. Fabiola knows everything will remind her of Ramon and Andrea proposes she stay with Margarita, though she won’t be free of an “I told you so,” Margarita has always been the most helpful and understanding. Fabiola slowly nods.

Juana asks if he really wants to marry her or is only proposing for her benefit. Julio declares that he wants to be in her life forever and grow old with her at his side. This time, Juana, with tears in her eyes, kisses him.

Thank you , Alfredo. I have not finished reading the recap yet,but I got a giggle right out of the gate. " ...He's stuck between her lips and a tree. " Tee-hee . I will return when I am completely awake.

That was a Hee Haw alright, 'Stuck between her lips and a tree.' poor guy.
Thank you again Mr. Alfredo.

As Forest Gump famously said, 'Stupid is as stupid does.' Now we need Fabi to go running back to her reserve poke Frankenfarter, who she has easily and knowingly kept on the back burner through benign neglect. Wanna? can marry Julio, and THEN let's see Furter and Julio slug it out over the money, as they both want it. Hmmmm

Benny and Lu: I don't get it. Ada Jezeera is a hundred times more attractive even in black and white than Lu is in Technicolor, face, body, attitude, personality, every which way you slice it.

Maybe there is something disconnected in my canine brain, but it seldom misses in these matters. WHAT does Finite see in Lu? He has a smart little sandwich restaurant, that is a click above doormat at the condo, (Benny) and he wears a more snazzy uniform too. He MUST run into some attractive, available girls at his eatery. And though I am not looking to go out with him, I think he is a much better looking fellow than little Benny.

There is just nothing like waiting to see what has happened to your Luuuurve, like maybe a car accident, sudden illness, evil space robots, reassigned to driving a wrecker in Russia, KIDNAPPED, before you decide that you were a fool all along and he left you at the altar. Fabi: How long have you known Frankenfarter? How well did you actually know him? Is there not an inkling of suspicion in your little pea brain that he might be up to his old tricks?

I say if and when Ramoon and Sophia get loose, they stay together. Sophia jumped a guy twice her size trying to protect Ramoon, and I could not see Fab doing the same. And who wants to marry a girl who shows up on her wedding day dressed as Princess Lela from Star Wars?

Raqmoon, how many times do you need to get kidnapped and / or beat to a pulp to:
A. Start carrying a gun or knife.
B. Wonder who is doing this to you.

The Roadrunner and Wiley Coyote and their cliffs and anvils were more believable.

Osprey with fresh catch of the day.

Raqmoon? Really? Ramoon.

Hoppy Friday

Alfredo, a marvelous, all encompassing recap.

"Ramon tries to fight her off, but he’s stuck between her lips and a tree" was one of your many highlights.

Maybe it's me but I thought Ramon "shook off" Sophia rather easily. I realize her reappearance couldn't have come at a worse time, however, nothing she said seemed to phase him. He didn't seem to understand the gravity of the situation. She left him to save his life. She put herself in danger to defend him from her father and now, from his kidnappers! He is her whole life yet she was just a momentary blip on his radar. Blech.

Years ago, Chris Ferro (whose son's sandaled feet still appear on the sidebar I believe) came up with the term "ugly" crier. It had nothing at all to do whether a person was beautiful or not, it was the way they cried. I know Esmerelda is far from an "ugly" crier as proven by her work in El Color. Yet, she was just that last night. That said, I think she was staying in character as Fabi is kind and sweet but still rather bratty and I believe that is what came through last night.

Ingenious idea to get rid of Ramon's clothes...But what are dumb and dumber going to do with their victims?

Everything else I could say has been said much better by Kirby especially to my earlier point that "Sophia jumped a guy twice her size trying to protect Ramoon, and I could not see Fab doing the same. And who wants to marry a girl who shows up on her wedding day dressed as Princess Lela from Star Wars?".

Until Benito moves out, I just can't care about he and Luisa. I also like "Finite". I'm thinking Valente will be a consolation prize for someone. Dalia? Not that she deserves him.

Julio has ulterior motives and I'm not buying he and Juana for a minute.

Diana

Great shot Kirby.

You seem to catch your subjects at meal time!

Diana

Gotta catch them when they are busy. :-)

Otherwise they think it might be YOUR meal time.

OMG...too funny Kirby.

Diana

OT..Diana..yes, I remember Chris Ferro. He was very funny. I remember a long time ago when I did not have a tablet to access CAray away from home , and Hubba and I came back from a trip . I found a bunch of comments with my name in them. Chris had chastised me for not putting my name at the start of my comments , and I used to just put my name at the end. I often put something after my name ..for example..Susanlynn, wearing flip-flops instead of heels.(Melinama liked when I did that.) A few people defended me in my absence , including Sylvia who said that she always recognized my comments as soon as she started to read them. Maybe I was even snarkier then and therefore more identifiable. That was awhile ago, Amiga!!!

Something tells me that Sofia is going to enjoy being held hostage with Ramon. I keep thinking of all those ROMantic comedy movies in which the leads supposedly hate each other until they are somehow thrown together in some remote location away from everyone in their orbits.

Susanlynn that is what I am thinking too. And come on Ramon, why marry a little high school (it appears) brat when you have full blown woman pinning you against a tree? That's a no brainer, perfect for almost everybody on this show.

Thank you Alfredo.

Analyzing the facts from the point of view of Fabiola: Ramon did not show up for the wedding and apparently left his apartment. Possible reasons:
A. He ran away with his love Sofia.
B. He was forced to leave.
Reason A. is possible, but Ramon's attitude and behavior before the wedding speaks against it. Examples: giving money for the dress, inviting Valente to the wedding. Even one hour before the wedding sounding eager to do it. And doing it this way is disgraceful and out of character.
Reason B. is also possible. Especially considering who Sofia's father is. He already wanted to kill Ramon.
En fin: things are not clear. I would be leaning to Reason A. But mostly wait an see. Certainly not jump to conclusions. But that's not Fabiola's mode.

Susanlynn, I agree that having the two ex's together, fighting for their lives (and their love) would be great. I've been at Soph's table all along. But, Ramon's being abducted on his wedding day is going to yield all kinds of guilt and I think he's too besotted with Fabi to change his mind at this point.

Your comment about putting your name at the top makes a great deal of sense.

To be fair though, if I were Fab, I'd also be going with option A Lucio. I'm sure that video Rulio took of Sophia cementing her lips to Ramon is going to surface very quickly, adding more fuel to the already burning fire.

There might be a small chance Margarita might be able to add some insight. Could Soph possibly have confided in her about her father?

Diana

Valente was suddenly introduced into this tale, so I think that he is meant to be a lovely consolation prize for someone ..probably Sofia. Ray has already pledged that Fab is his one true love , and those pledges are usually not refundable. I think that I like Valente better☺

So...can you pull off a double kidnapping like that without uttering a sound? Broad daylight downtown and nobody saw a thing? Did Rulo tell dirtbag #2 to do all the talking so Ramoon would not recognize his voice? If he were a chick he would recognize his cologne...er..never mind doesn't apply. Where did they get the van? I didn't see 'Enterprise', Hertz or Dollar stickers on it. Did they steal it to abandon it later? Is it from Antonio's and Fab's repair shop?

Does Ramoon think Sophia set all this up to stop him from getting marrried?
Does Sofia think that's why she luuurves Ramoon, because he is Mr. Excitement?

Did Fab ever finish her driving lessons?

AAA, thank you for a super sensational and stellar recap. The added quips were wlcoming and entertaining.

Kirby, you're on a roll today...ITA with all your comments. "So...can you pull off a double kidnapping like that without uttering a sound? Broad daylight downtown and nobody saw a thing? " My thoughts exactly! and when Valente mentioned the mafia, why didn;t anyone think tha maybe Sofia's father had something to do with it (though we know otherwise). When he was first planning the kidnapping, Dario told Rulo he got the van from someone...he didn;t specify whom.

Diana, loved your comments too! "So...can you pull off a double kidnapping like that without uttering a sound? Broad daylight downtown and nobody saw a thing? " THat dress was pretty bad...aside from the flared peplum, the thing look painted on...not very befitting for a wedding IMO...unless she was planning on a pole dance afterwards.
"I'm sure that video Rulo took of Sophia cementing her lips to Ramon is going to surface very quickly, adding more fuel to the already burning fire." Most definitely! That will clinch it for Fabi.

Susy, "Something tells me that Sofia is going to enjoy being held hostage with Ramon. I keep thinking of all those ROMantic comedy movies in which the leads supposedly hate each other until they are somehow thrown together in some remote location away from everyone in their orbits." I've seen so mnay of those...YES!! that could definitely be a plausible ending, but like Diana stated, " I think he's too besotted with Fabi to change his mind at this point."

Don Pedro is such a gentleman; I wouldn't have expected any other reaction from him...to Wanna's rejection. Julio's little seduction speech...sickening, only because he is such cunning creep. If Wanna falls for it, she deserves him.

RGV I forgot.....GONG !

Kirby: The Lovebirds still not getting a BREAK ?

Dirtbag couplenappers are in a conundrum, though, because if the picture of Sophia's lips attacking (attaching to) Ramoon surfaces, it will kind of point to them. Unless they are smart enough to go in with a good photo editor and edit out the EXIF data buried in the video information to remove any trace of the origination of the picture. Otherwise, a picture taken at the scene of a crime by the perp is useless.....Hmmmm

And if I had to be kissed by either Sofia or Juana, let it be Sofia. Woof with tail wag.

And what was with Wanna?'s statement to Don Pedro last night about not wanting a relationship...etc...etc...just doing what she has always done, being with her son...blah blah...HUH? Except she has not spent the last thirty years with him, he spent those with her MOM!
#can'ttrustthehiredhelp #maidlieslikearug
Steve: Pair A..yes
Pair B...No

And Julio is still upping the ante on Wanna?.
Bad Guys 27
Good Guys 3

if getting some quality tail still counts as a field goal.

When you finish with your trout, could you hop over here so I can get your other side Mr. Bird?

Wolfio is coming on so strong....too aggressive.....not romantic or appealing. A wolf in wolf's clothing. How long ago did Virginia die? I have no sense of how time is passing in this show. If we ever see Roxy again, we might get some sense of how much time has passed if she looks pregnant. Juana just seems to be getting dimmer and dumber. Pedro would be a good choice because she needs someone to watch out for her. She needs a companion and guardian more than a lover. Besides, Wolfio is more interested in betting than bedding. ....but he is muy guaypo.

Thank you Alfredo don't know how you do back to back recaps and manage to capture all of the details.

Fabiola has every reason to be upset, all of the evidence points to Ramon having left her for Sofia. Nevermind how sweet he has been and that he paid for the dress. Sofia shows up the night before, and now he is gone apparently with all his things. She was just left at the "altar" what is she supposed to think.

Julio makes me sick, and so does Juana kissing him back. He is after the moola girl, the moola not you!!!

Sofia annoyed me when she kept screaming to Ramon not to get married. That did not seem like the independent, strong, resourceful woman of days past.

Sandie..yeah, nothing says independent, strong, resourceful woman like screaming like a crazed harpy....and guys love it. Muy effectivo.

OT Cold front blowing in and holding on for dear life->->->->->->

Kirby, I admire your tenacity in getting those amazing pictures. I actually tried getting a picture of a hawk that's after my chicks...y nada!

CHickie...I love farashi (Arabic for Mariposa). The orange color is especially lovely against the blue. I am always aware of colors. We are lucky to have beautiful photos from you and Kirby to brighten our days.

Um....That looks for all the world like a moth. A hawk has more feathers.

Nice MOTH though.

Just kidding. I honestly do not know the difference between a moth and butterfly, but I know which is which when I see them. Nice shot. I have lately been seeing these big fat geometric colored moths around the house. I will look for a pic. Yours is good, I'm not that good with insects.

What is this? Several variants of these have shown up in the past month.

Here seems to be his cousin.

Great recap, Alfredo! I don't know how you do it so well on two consecutive days. But great job.

I don't have much to add, but I think that Valente should have done more to say that Ramon could not have just dumped Fabi and run off with Sofia. He should have said something like, "I know I don't have a very good explanation, but I've known him for a long time and I know he would never do something like this. Something bad must have happened to him.

We shall see what happens tonight. And darn, the World Series is on tonight. I am going to be too tempted to go back and forth.

Kirby, I've never seen a moth like that...nice shot!

I think the hawk is probably scared of me since I'm always yelling at it...ii was sitting on top of an electric pole when I tried to take a picture, but it flew away before I could get a pic...oh well, I'll leave the birds to you :-)

Cynthia, "[Valente] should have said something like, "I know I don't have a very good explanation, but I've known him for a long time and I know he would never do something like this. Something bad must have happened to him." Actually he did say that...not in those exact words; but quite similar...he said there was something that just wasn't right. Ramon has always been very honest and sincere; he had known him since they were little.

RGV Chick, I know that Valente said something like, "This just isn't like Ramon" but I don't think he sounded convincing enough. He just sounded kind of puzzled and curious. I think he should have been more like, "Something is really wrong...like something BAD must have happened to him." That way Fabi wouldn't have thought he took off with Sofia.
