Caer En Tentacion #27, 11/24/17: Truth’s come to the forefront, Lies continue to hover
Present time
Godoy and two other officers go to Santi’s house to tell him he has to
go to the police station to make a statement about Carol’s murder because he is
being accused by Vicente. They then put him in hand cuffs. Godoy tells him his
Miranda rights.
Rafa tells Raquel that he can take her to Cynthia. Federico asks her where she is going “to pick up your aunt, I won’t be long” she says.
Fed then gets a call from Mia “Fede I know you won’t lie to me, tell me what is going on with Nico” Fede doesn’t understand the question. She asks if Nico is going out with his boss. Fede says he doesn’t know what’s going on. Mia then just imagines the worst and feels sorry for herself.
At his bosses office she tells Nico that she doesn’t want him to bring any girlfriend problems to the office. Then he gets a call letting him know his dad has been arrested. When he hangs up she acts all moody and says “it was her?” Nico tells her no “it was to let me know my dad was arrested”
At the police station Antonio chides Santi for having gone to threaten Andres because that complicates his situation especially because along with that there is the accusation from Vicente.

out. She wakes her up. Cynthia asks Raquel to forgive her. Raquel wants to take
her home. Cynthia then slaps Rafa for bringing Raquel. Rafa says “you are
useless to me like that” Raquel demands to know what he means, Rafa is pretty
quick on his feet and says “as a friend he does not want to see her like that”
Raquel takes Cynthia and then turns to Rafa and tells her that she never wants
to see him near Cynthia.
At the office Andres tells Fede that Santi is responsible for Damian’s coma.Miriam is meeting with her attorney sayings that she wants Santi in jail. Andres walks in with his booboo and Miriam says “that’s all he did to you?” Andres whines and says “you don’t know how much it hurts Auntie” Miriam can’t believe that Santi will go to jail for those 2 little bruises but since they also have Vicente’s declaration it might work.
At station Nico’s boss (can’t remember her name) tells Santi she will defend him. She knows the attorney working for Andres Becker; she knows all his tricks so she will need Santi to tell her everything from the beginning.
At Raquel’s home Cynthia continues to beg for forgiveness. Raquel tells her that she needs to just get pas t this episode because she doesn’t want her kids to see Cynthia like this. Jovita takes her to her room.
Fede comes and tells Raquel about Santi being in jail for hitting Andres.

Carolina asks Agustin how long he had been standing there. Agustin freezes up but reacts and says he is there to pick up a ladder for Santi. He goes to get ladder, Carol tells Dam to leave, Dam looks disappointed but leaves any way.
In Mia’s bedroom Jovita is fixing her bed and Raquel is looking thru Mia’s things when she finds her Journal, where she wrote about her pain being the only thing that calms her.
At the Alvarado’s Agustin got the ladder and as he is leaving Carol tries to explain why Dam was there. Agustin tells her that she does not need to explain anything to him because he did not hear anything. Carol knows that this is not true.
At school Mia and Julieta talk about how the Joaquin pictures went viral. Now everyone thinks that Joaquin is with Julieta. Juliate then tells Mia that “Joaquin wants to be with both of us”
Raquel calls Mia and tells her to come home as soon as possible when she is done with her friend. Mia senses that something is up.
Raquel then calls Dam. She wants to talk about Mia when he has some time. Better when he gets home. “By the way Santi said his workers saw Andres leaving the company with Flour sacks at night.
Damian asks Azucena to review the security video for the night shift. He wants to know if Andres has been there at night.
Azucena checks the video on Andres’ laptop because it is faster than her own. She then finds that video where Damian and Carol are getting down to business at the banquet hall. She calls dam so that he can see what she found on Andre’ laptop. It is the video of Dam and carol at the banquet locale. Azucena tells Dam he does not need to worry about her. Dam’s face looks like he is in complete shock to say the least.
Dam then calls Carol

Antonio tells Santi’s attorney that there is evidence Santi assaulted Andres. She says the accusations are ridiculous.

Miriam’s attorney shows her a news report from Laura (if it can be called news, more like T.M.Z.) Laura talks about Santi’s arrest for assaulting Andres, she also talks about the black mystery car at the toll booth. She seems to know more details about this case than Antonio and Godoy combined.

Dam and Carol discuss the video Andres took
of them. He asks Carol why she did not say anything when she found out and “did
he ask you for anything?” “No nothing” she lies. Then they discuss her
pregnancy. Dam tells her he will be there to support her because it is his baby
right? “I don’t know who the father is” Damian is surprised because he thought
she did not sleep with Santi any more. “Well” “Just one time at the cabin when we went on
that trip, I had to sorry” (ugggh) Carol is worried about Agustin, Andres and
the Pregnancy “what are we going to do?” she says.
Nacho notices that Agustin is preoccupied,
so he asks what happened at Santi’s house. Agustin says nothing, but nacho
insists. Agustin says that Damian was there and it just seemed weird.
Dam goes to Andres’ office to attack him,
Andres says “why do you defend your prostitute?” that’s all it took and Andres
got a good pounding. Azucena tries to stop them but can’t, Miriam than runs in
and they stop and lie that they were fighting about differences at work. She
says she is not stupid but all she wants is for them to not fight in the
office, so resolve your differences without fighting.
Santi is at Gabriela’s she asks that he also make her smile like he does Raquel. She flirts with him but he completely ignores her.
Nacho and Agustin are out in the truck and Nacho asks Agustin if he thinks Carol is cheating on Santi. Agustin does not answer. Santi comes to the truck and asks Agustin why he is acting weird. Agustin says he has a stomach ache.
Raquel asks Mia about the blood on her sheets and the knives/razors they found. Mia makes up a story about how Julieta and she were trying a new depilatory method. Raquel acts relieved because she thought she was hurting herself. She looks like she has bought the story but she really has not. When she leaves Mia’s room she looks concerned. Lola and Nico argue about getting in each other’s business as Carolina walks in. Their fighting is the last thing she wants to deal with because of “all her problems” (self-inflicted by the way) she yells at them and goes to her room.

The fact that Raphael crossed Raquel's threshold will come back to bite her on the tush before this is over. She should get Cinthia back into rehab ASAP and out of her house. She will cause more problems for Raquel.
I like that Alina is on to Rueda's tricks. However, she could end up having the hots for Santiago. That would be better for Nico, but Alina's conscience is not fully in the right place. Fooling around on the job is never a good thing and Nico is a vulnerable young man. Between Mia and Alina he's caught between two manipulative females. This could end very badly for any or all of them.
At this point I don't see a happy ending for this story.

I was surprised Azucena is gonna keep Damian's secret. Raquel (present day) might not be so happy when she finds out that yet another person was covering for Damian and Caro. And now Agustin suspects something and while he can't necessarily prove it yet, his likely suspicions are correct.
Raquel (both in past and present time) certainly has a lot to deal with: Damian's betrayal, her feeling for Santiago, Mia's and Cinthia's issues. It's a miracle that she herself isn't institutionalized.

Damian signs Azucena's paychecks so that's incentive right there to keep quiet. Azucena is Damian's employee, not Raquel's friend. She had no obligation to tell Raquel about the affair.

To a point about comas, since they are such cliches in TNs and SOs here is a documentary about a woman who woke up after 20 years in a coma. She lived 11 more years after that, but never got back to full functioning.
Thanks Sandie, still many episodes to go .. before we discover who did killed Carolina.

Sandie--Thanks for your recap. It's comforting to read familiar words and keep up with this really intense story from afar. I wish I could SEE it as well as read about it, but that will have to wait.
With all the talk about Dam faking his coma (though I agree it would be difficult in a modern hospital with all kinds of monitors), I wonder if we should include HIM as a suspect. Maybe he was not planning a romantic getaway at all.
When I went back and re-watched the first episode, it didn't seem as though they were hit from behind, rather, the windshield was shattered, so that theory wouldn't fit 100% percent, but for the sake of suspects, I would add him anyway.
