Enamorándome de Ramón, #64, 11/13/2017: An Offer Ramón Can’t Refuse and an Ex-Girlfriend Gets His Goat

Title Compliments of Kirby J
Previously: Sofía asks Ramón how things are going for him. He replies that he is living in his godmother’s house and Valente is also living there. When he asks what she is going to do, she replies wants to stay here. She had been wanting to talk to him so he can help her open up a mechanic’s shop. When Ramón wonders where they will get the money, Sofía tells him she has the money, but Ramón refuses to use any money that is associated with her father. Sofía explains that everything her father had was confiscated. This money is from her mother’s inheritance; she came from a family of means. After Ramón questions why she would want to open an auto shop, she explains because it is what he knows; and she wouldn’t be able to find a better partner. She also hopes that they can both move forward by having a business. Ramón wonders if she is doing this so they can continue being together. Sofía doesn’t deny it; it will make her happy to be close to him, but this is business...and it‘s really just to help both of them continue on with their lives. He doesn’t take long before he agrees and they hug.
At the police station, Poorfi meets with Pastrana and asks if Pastrana is going to offer him more money. Pastrana tells him he just wants to assure him he has nothing to do with what happened. He adds that he didn’t send the email; someone is trying to implicate him. Pastrana thinks it must have been the person from Poorfi’s office that passed on the information. When Poorfi wonders what Margarita has to do this, he denies knowing any Margarita…it was Verónica.
At Andrea’s house, Andrea comes in to the kitchen smelling something good. After Juana shares that she went to see Fabi, Andrea hopes she gave Fabi a good scolding. Juana tells her there is no use in doing that, but Fabi is still being foolish and thinks that she did the right thing in marrying Francystco…and she wants her money. Andrea thinks Juana shouldn’t give her anything. She reminds Juana that Fabi didn’t ask for money when she was going to marry Ramón and wonders why she would ask for it now. Juana responds that Fabi is planning to go to Canada and adds that since neither Fabi or Andrea will live there, then she will just give both of them the money. When Andrea assures Juana that she is only going to Chili to study, Juana remembers Jorge saying that she was going to stay to live over in Chili, but Andrea tells her not to mind Jorge. She isn’t going to leave her all alone. Juana is very happy.
Rulo tells Chava how Ramón and Sofía escaped. He thinks Dario is done with…all because of Ramón who has more lives than a cat.
Julio meets Emilia at the casino. She wants them to go elsewhere, but Julio would rather gamble for a while.  As she receives a call from Ossie, she asks the dealer to gather her chips. Ossie wants to see her, but she has other things to do. When he insists, she agrees to meet him at her house. Before she leaves, Emilia tells Julio she forgot she had to see her lawyer and asks if he doesn’t mind if they see each other another day. Julio replies he doesn’t mind, but later thinks it’s just not his day.
Poorfi and the police go hunting for Verónica, but she is long gone and not at her house... nor does she answer her phone. The cops assure him they will find her. They will keep her house under surveillance and notify him of any progress.
Antonio arrives at Roxana’s house to say goodnight to Diego, but Roxana tells him Diego doesn’t want to see him (apparently she has already filled him with her venom). He goes to Diego’s room and Diego tells him it’s true; he doesn’t want to see him. Roxana sarcastically asks if there is anything else Antonio wants. After her leaves, Roxana mumbles that it’s the least that he deserves.
Fabi tells Francystco her grandma went to see her…she actually congratulated her. She then shares that Juana also went just to see how she was doing, so she asked her for the money her parent’s left her. He wonders why she thought to ask for the money so she tells him they will need it when they go to Canada. Francystco is elated to hear her say that…not because of the money (yeah, right!) but because she is thinking about the life they will build together.
Ramón tells Valente about the shop Sofía wants to put up. He is hesitant because she may confuse things. When Valente jokingly tells him it’s not like he’s marrying her, Ramón replies that the least he wants is for Sofía to get her hopes up. He doesn’t want her hurt since he knows what it feels like. It hurt him to see Fabi with that guy and Ramón wonders how Fabi could exchange him for that guy.
Sofia calls to ask about a location for the shop. Demetrio Beltran, the owner, tells her he can show it to her the next day.
Antonio goes to see Marg and tells her that Diego doesn’t want to see him. She is sure Roxana is manipulating Diego and Antonio agrees, but doesn’t want to lose his son. Marg assures him that Diego must know Antonio loves him; and Roxana will not be able to manipulate him forever. After she invites him to stay for dinner, Poorfi stops by, but before he has a chance to get a word out, Marg yells that he has nothing to do there; she will see him in court! Poorfi asks her to forgive him for accusing her. He is going to retract the complaint…Vero was the guilty one. Marg chides him for taking his sweet time in accusing Verónica, but he was quick to accuse her. He disregarded all their years of friendship. After Poorfi tries to explain that Verónica did everything in such a way to incriminate her, Marg retorts that he preferred to believe Verónica rather than her. When Poorfi tells her he is ashamed, Marg tells him his apologies are too late.
Julio comes home and asks for Ossie. Jorge tells him he came by then left. Julio gets upset so he calls Ossie who is already all over with Emilia. Though she tells him not to answer, Ossie answers anyway only to have Julio chide him for not being home or at least calling him. Ossie sneers that he didn’t think Julio would have time; he figured Julio was with his sweetheart. After Ossie advises Julio he won’t be going home for the night and hangs up, he tells Emilia that his father is going out with the servant.
At his home, Poorfi curses himself for not seeing Veronica for who she really was. He lost his Margarita forever. He cries as he has a drink.
Next Day—
Across the street from MedFer, Sofía looks at the location for rent. When she shares that she wants to set up an auto shop, Beltrán warns her that there is an auto shop right in front, but Sofía thinks that a bit of competition won’t hurt.
Poorfi, who drank himself to sleep on the couch, is pining over Marg, so he calls her but Antonio answers. Poorfi realizes that Antonio spent the night, but still asks for Marg. When Antonio tells him she is taking a bath, Poorfi just leaves a message that he called. As he hangs up, he mumbles in disappointment that they are back together.
The agent calls Poorfi and tells him the results of the cyber analysis is complete. All indications confirm that Verónica was the one. He also shares that they found indications that she bought a ticket to Panama and is leaving today. They do, however, have time to go stop her. Poorfi will meet them at the airport.
Juana runs to Julio who is on his way out. She wants him to accompany her to ISE because Fabi asked for her money; so she wants to sign over Fabi’s share. Julio doesn’t think she should give her all the money because Fabi is stupid and immature; if she can’t handle her own life, she surely won’t know how to handle the money. When Juana insists that the money is Fabi’s, Julio replies he can’t go with her; he’s too busy and won’t have time until next week.
Poorfi talks to himself as he drives to the airport. Verónica will pay for what she did—she betrayed him, ruined the reputation of his office, and provoked Marg’s hate for him; he will never forgive her.
At Marg’s apartment, Antonio wants his divorce sped up. They discuss filing charges against Roxana, but Antoni refuses since she is his son’s mother. Marg advises that they can still use the information to pressure her into signing the divorce papers. The doctor need to give Antonio the written DNA results. Antonio then remembers to give her Poorfi’s message, but Marg complains that Poorfi doesn’t understand that she wants nothing to do with him. She can’t forgive that, knowing who she is, he would doubt her.
At Benito’s, Ada says good morning and wonders why Benito doesn’t look her in the eye. She tells him he shouldn’t be embarrassed about what happened; it was an accident. She has something to confess…last night she dreamed about him. After she whispers in his ear, she thinks it was a strange dream and wonders what it means. Benito flustered and not knowing where to look, tells her he is going to take a bath because he suddenly got too hot.
At Andrea’s, Juana tells the Dr. Parrot that if Julio can’t help her, then she will go by herself; she knows the way. Giving Fab the money will take a load off her shoulders. She calls Mr. Agustín Curiel and tells him she wants to put half of the money in someone else’s name. He tells her it’ll take a week, but she should go in as soon as possible to sign the request. After she tells him she will go by today, he asks for the name of the recipient. Juana states, “Fabiola Medina Fernandez” which Agustín immediately recognizes.
Julio goes to see Fabi who wonders if he is there to scold her like everyone else or congratulate her. He assures he is only there to support her, but he does know she requested the money and worries that she won’t know how to handle it. She tells him not to worry… between Francystco and her, they know what they will do (yep! Francystco already has his plans!). Julio wants to be vigilant of the money especially because of Francystco. When Fabiola wonders if he has doubts about Francystco, he advises her that in a marriage everything has to be set clear, especially financial matters. He suggests he be her financial advisor, but Fabi doesn’t need him. He leaves hoping he will never have to say, “I told you so.”
At Antonio’s auto shop, Rulo tells Lucho that he noticed someone is going to rent the space in front of Antonio’s shop. He saw the owner talking to someone.
Antonio goes in to talk to Fabi. He saw Julio leaving, so Fabi tells him he was there to offer to be her advisor. Antonio is curious as to why she asked for the money. Fabi thinks she will be able to handle the money, but asks him what he thinks. Antonio fears that if he tells her what he thinks, she will get upset; so he’d rather not say anything. She insists so he tells her she is doing so many stupid things. She ran off with Ramón; then she decided to marry him; she quickly married Francystco; and now she is asking for the money. When she came to work at the shop, he thought she was showing good judgment, but he was wrong. He advises her that, if she isn’t careful with the money, it will go like water.
At his office, Francystco looks at all his debts. He worries, but thinks about his wife who is a millionaire. He has to get his hands on the money. Just then Agustín calls to ask is he knows Juana. Francystco confirms he knows her and tells him how she inherited the money. Agustín then tells him Juana is going over to his office to sign over half the investments to Fabi.
At the university, Andrea reads another message posted by Jorge—he fell in love with her…he doesn’t know when or how…and he asks her not to leave. From afar, Jorge watches as Andrea is greeted by Santiago with a hug and kiss.
At Luisa’s house, Ramón makes a call to inquire about some equipment. Sofía arrives and tells him they already have the location and she paid a year in advance. When he asks where it is and she tells him, he quickly recognizes the street and tells her that is the street where Fabi’s shop is. After Sofía tells him it’s right in front, Ramón chides her for getting that location. They are going to think that they want to wage a war against them. He tells her she needs to break the contract, so she agrees even if it means paying a fine. She does, however, ask that he go with her to see it first; then they can make a final decision.
Poorfi gets to the airport and looks for Verónica. He tells the receptionist he needs to locate someone and know if they have already boarded the plane, but she tells him she can’t give him any information. When Poorfi lies and tells her it involves his wife, the receptionist concedes and tells him she already entered the boarding area. As he goes to look for Verónica, Poorfi meets up with the cops who ask him what he is doing there. He tells them the same thing they do there…trying to keep that woman from leaving. The cop has an order to detain so he orders someone to stop the plane.
Juana meets with Agustín. He tells her the world is small since he knows Francisco. When he mentions that Julio made it seem like she was a worldly woman, she tells him that she is the girls' nanny…the money is not hers; it is the money her bosses left her for their daughters to assure their futures. Agustín then explains the inversions and the growth the money has made. He asks her to sign the request. She signs it without reading it. He tells her the next steps and will notify her when everything is ready.
At the airport, Poorfi approaches Verónica and chides her for betraying him. She justifies her actions by saying that she did it all for him…to get rid of that obsession with Marg. Poorfi blasts her and tells her she is the worst person he has ever known. She will not take the flight; she can yell as much as she wants. The cops approach and arrest her as they read her the rights.
As she shops, Roxana talks to someone on the phone about taking care of Diego who is very sad because his father abandoned him. She wants him to have fun. After she hangs up, Agustín approaches and asks how she has been. She replies that things are very bad. Since they broke up, nothing has gone well for her. Agustín was just about to go have lunch, so he invites her so she can tell him all about it.
At the hospital, Antonio asks for the DNA results. Doc wants to know if he is going to go through with a complaint, so Antonio explains he just wants to get them to pressure Roxana to sign the divorce. The doc is willing to hand them over since he has to pay for his error. Doc hands him the results and explains that they show he was not the father.
While they eat, Roxana gives Agustín her twisted view of the events. She was at the point of divorcing Antonio when she found out she was pregnant. Since it was a high risk pregnancy, she had no alternative but to stay with him. What she lived was a living hell. Day after day while she was restricted to bed and unable to move, Antonio treated her as if she was an incubator; the only thing he cared about was that his child be born healthy, but she lost it. So now Antonio abandoned her and Diego. She doesn’t know what she feels anymore; she regrets having trusted Antonio. Agustín wonders why she didn’t call him; he would have supported her and would have raised the baby as his own…he doesn’t like seeing her so sad. She was always full of life and hopes. Roxana doesn’t know where that woman is anymore; so Agustín tells her she needs to try to forget and make a life for herself, but Roxana doesn’t have the strength; she feels all alone (pobrecita!). Agustín assures her she is not alone; she has him.
At the rental location, Ramón likes the place, but still wants to look for another location. He doesn’t want Fabi to think he is out for revenge; and he will be very uncomfortable. Ramón again criticizes Sofía for rushing into it and insists she look for another place; so she agrees to call the owner and hopes they can break the contract.
At Julio’s office, Juana drops by and coldly tells him that she already took care of signing over Fabi’s portion of the investments. She then demands to know why he is telling everyone that she is an important investor. She doesn’t understand how he can say he loves her if he was embarrassed by her. She then emphasizes that a servant is what she is; and she wants someone who will be proud of her.
The owner doesn’t answer so Sofía calls again. From across the street, Fabi sees Ramón and Sofía so she stomps over and demands to know what they do there. Are they there to make fun of her and rub everything in her face? She tells them to go back to Tijuana. Sofía tells her she is wrong, but Fabi yells that they should look elsewhere. Ramón tries to tell her that is exactly what they are going to do. He has no intention of staying there or seeing her every day. Fabi retorts that the only way to do that is that they should disappear…which shouldn’t be difficult for him since he is an expert at it. He snaps back that he already explained; if she doesn’t believe him that’s her problem. She wonders how she can believe him if he is right there with her. Ramón reminds her she ran and married Francystco. She admits he did it because he let her down and curses the day he crossed her path. He wasn’t satisfied with he did to her…he wants to continue destroying her life. Ramón replies that she is the one that destroyed his life. Sofía interrupts and tries to get Ramón to leave, but he refuses…they aren’t going anywhere. They will stay there. If Fabi doesn’t want to see him then she shouldn’t turn to look in this direction. They will be there every day. Fabi yells, “Rot!” and stomps away. When Sofia wonders what Ramón is doing, he says he changed his mind. They should leave because they have much to do.
At Julio’s office, Juana continues blasting away at Julio. What offends her is that he doesn’t accept what she is. Why did he have to invent things that are not so? She wonders how he will present her to his friends—as a nanny or some princess. What she thinks is that he only got interested in her because of the money, but Julio wonders why she can’t believe that it’s her that he wants. Juana has doubts now and tells him he can’t accept that the differences between them will always exist. Since this is not going to work, then they can leave it at that. She tells him not to follow her.
Fabi storms into Antonio’s office and tells Antonio she is furious. She just saw Ramón and that stupid girl across the street; they are going to open an auto shop right in front of theirs. She will have him there in front every day; and furthermore, he is going to take their clients. Antonio thinks they have a prestigious business that took years to build up; and no one will take their business.

As they walk, Sofía wants to know why Ramón changed his mind so quickly. He replies it is a good location; and it will be difficult to find a better location. When she reminds him he will have Fabi there right in front, he suggests they concentrate on their business. Sofía comments that if what he wants to do is forget Fabi, it will be difficult, but Ramón knows; he will just have to overcome it.

Excellent Ms. Chik. I could not follow Juana and Julio, so thanks especially for that. I think when I am not interested I just don't hear as well or something. Hmmm happens in real life too, come to think of it.

I am glad that Juana is finally beginning to see Julio a bit more clearly. Also glad that Poorfyi found out the truth. And glad Ramon can now see the real unvarnished Fabi the Brat. She needs a good spanking.

FWIW Benny is a stronger man than me. Put those in my face and I might cave. Woof

I was thinking Sofia and Ramon would run into Rulo and Sophia would recognize his voice and start to put two and three together. Wish in one hand and hopeo in the other.....

This was a completely enjoyable episode, and an even more enjoyable recap.

I wondered why they threw in the decoy chick for Poorfy to grab. It was kinda funny, but had nothing to do with anything.

And Vero's explanation was a complete letdown too. She did all that to relieve Poorf of his 'Obsession' over Marg? Huh? But Vero didn't actually want him either? Huh?

Or if she did ultimately plan on all this giving her exclusive ownership of Poorfy's heart, she is a dumber criminal than Ruh-Roh! !

Maybe we can get Juana to ask Dr. Parrot.

Thank you, Kirby!

Uhmmm, if Ramon gives Fabi a spanking, she just might like it...and it could lead to a really passionate reconciliation LOL

Yes, Vero's explanation was completely confusing...probably because she was lying? It's hard to believe she did all that just to get her out of Poorfi's head...as you noted, Kirby, she didn't actually wanted. Writer's flaw or loony Vero?

*she didn't actually want HIM...

Thank you, RGVChick and a belated thank you to Cynthia! I still think Ramon should not have accepted Sofia's offer. Not only will he be indebted to her, Sofia loves him but he doesn't love her so that's asking for trouble, and it's right in front of Fabiola's shop. He's being just as childish as Fabiola is right now and Sofia is now caught in the middle too. There is too many messed up things in this situation for it to work.

I think Veronica actually liked Porfirio in the beginning or, at least, liked his company. She realized, probably midway, that he was in love with Margarita and sought to destroy her in Porfirio's eyes. Sometime then she probably realized that Porfirio was never going to be hers so she may as well get some money, etc. and cut her losses. Once Pastrana got arrested, that's when she knew had to run. But more confusing than Veronica's motivations, was her head scarf…I mean, dye your hair, cut it, something. It's the equivalent of wanting to be incognito but wearing dark sunglasses in and a scarf at a mall.

Is Roxana the worst mother ever without being actually evil? My god, this woman is going to destroy her son just to spite Antonio and now she roped poor dumb Agustin in her revenge plot. Oh boy.

Favorite scenes: Antonio telling Fabiola what's what and the fact that she has behaved like a child after promising to behave like an adult. Also, Juana calling Julio out on his bs. I hope she realizes how Julio really and cuts him loose. That way Francisco and Julio can have it out for that money from hell.

Funny RGV. I vote she is lying and there is more to the story. Poorfy needs to ask Marg if she has ever seen Vero before, but now he prob can't get a straight answer out of her either. She is in Hog Heaven now that she has saddled up her favorite and gone for a ride.

I also wish Sophia would lose that 'Hint of Hippie' look. She doesn't have to have Fab's Forever 21 look, but the bangs, hiphugger jeans and long necklaces, everything just HANGING, I don't know, it just isn't working.

Especially enjoyable was Fabi, so intent on crossing that busy street to welcome her potentially new neighbors that she walked right out in traffic. She did put a hand out as in 'Um don't run over me' to that one car.

She is missing one tidbit of info, but all this heartbreak is her and her husband's doing. Not Ramon, not Sophia, just her and Francystco.

It was great to see Juana telling Julio off, but I have no clue why.

Also, If my memory is correct, Wanna? gave Wolfio $220,000 of the &1 million, 20,000 to spend in the casino, and $200,000 to invest at ISE, the solar company. So there should still b $780,000 or thereabouts sitting in the bank.

What Diego needs so badly is some other adults in his life to balance things out and dilute Roxanna's venom. Witch. She wasted no time turning on the waterworks when she got a face to face with Agustin. Can he be that dumb? He does not look to be desperate, and she isn't all that and a box of chocolate. She is simply slim and not ugly. If she sucks Agustin back into her quicksand, I have no pity for him.

Happy Tuesday Patio, things are rolling along a little now

Yeah Alfredo, Veronica may as well not apply at the FBI and CIA, she just isn't cut out for it.

Superb recap RgvChick.

The title (thank you KJ) was excellent and your recap was brimming with pitch perfect details. You filled in the blanks exceptionally.

"Dr. Parrot" had me smiling away.

"Ramón wonders if she is doing this so they can continue being together. Sofía doesn’t deny it". One of the many reasons I love Sophia. She wants Ramon but doesn't beg or tug at his heartstrings. She thinks and acts logically. So refreshing.

I am perplexed at her location choice for the business however. She didn't seem to select it with any trace of malice. Isn't this bringing Ramon and Fabi too close for comfort?? Could she actually have bought this because (gulp) she thought it was the best possible location? Thoughts, anyone?

And on the other end of the spectrum we have "Fabi retorts that the only way to do that is that they should disappear…which shouldn’t be difficult for him since he is an expert at it". Ramon, really...Why are you still in love with this self centered, selfish, untrusting, unsupportive "real unvarnished Fabi the Brat" (credit Kirby).

While her many lies have been unearthed, Roxy refuses to be cornered. She is one step ahead, weighing her options, hedging her bets, looking for her next opportunity. While Auggie may be sympathetic to Roxy's tale of woe, I suspect he will cease being very empathetic once he finds out Roxy was carrying his child. "Is Roxana the worst mother ever without being actually evil?" was insightful and true Alfredo.

Kirby, I am glad Porf discovered the truth too. Here's another one, kicked in the teeth, dissed and dismissed who keeps coming back for more.

Julio makes me ill. If I heard "servant" one more time I was going to scream. OMG, everyone who uttered the word seemed like they were discussing a fatal disease. I hope Juana isn't smooth talked by anything Julio has to say. I had to smirk that he told Oz his home wasn't a hotel. And Emilia dropped dad for his son, apparently the better booty call.

Fran is on such a short fuse. By the time Fabi realizes what a terrible mistake she's made, I hope Ramon is looking at Sophia with fresh eyes and an open heart.

Wonderful recap and one of the most beautiful avatars you've posted to date Kirby.

Rgv Chick, this was amazing. Thank you!

Diana

Thanks Diana, and yes Dr. Parrot, typical of RGV, was a stroke of comedic genius. After I read that I spent twenty minutes Googling for a picture of a parrot wearing a White Medical Lab coat and stethoscope.

It appears to be more difficult than even Susanlynn's barn cats in Sun bonnets.

CHickie... Thank you for that very snappy recap of all the misadventures.

Just when I think that nobody could really be as stupid and thoughtless as these people, I read the news and...yes, yes they can.

There are a bunch of kettles calling a bunch of pots black.

Sofia seems like a good person in love with someone who wants someone else. In fact, the whole show is a vicious cycle of lots of people wanting people who want someone else.THat aways made me move on. just saying. #realityisreal

Kirby, Alfredo, Diana, and Susy, you're all so very welcome! ...and thank you for starting of the day with such great comments

Alfredo, you're probably right about Veronica. It seems to me that she may be somewhat psycho? IMO, her hatred for Marg is too much to be just jealousy, but if she is psychotic tehn that would explain it. I do remember that when she first met with Pastrana, she hadn't even thought of getting paid for the information. It wasn't until he brought it up that she went ahead and set a price.

Roxana is just plain narcissistic...it's all about her regardless of whether or not her child gets hurt...and I'm including the baby she lost. She was ordered complete bedrest and she spitefully went to pick up Diego at school...odd how Antonio didn't throw that in her face.

I think Marg is being a little too harsh on Poorfi. She knew exactly how much he tried to oust the culprit...and if she had taken safety measures, that email would have never been sent through her computer.

Kirby, I laughed as I watched Fabi cross the street, she looked like a woman child on a mission and nothing would stop her...a fleet of tanks could have been passing by and that would have not stopped her!

Diana, I agree that Sofia had no clue that the shop across the street belonged to Fabi and had no ill intentions. Whether she decided to get it because it was the "best" location is doubtful...I think she wanted to get a location quickly and went for the first thing she found.

How they throw out that word "sirvienta" is sickening, though when Juana would describe her job, she used "nana" (which would be nanny) quite a bit...Nanny Juanny hehe

Susy, "In fact, the whole show is a vicious cycle of lots of people wanting people who want someone else." YEP!!!

BTW, Kirby, you had me searching...my avatar is the best I could find....google "Dr. Parrot" LOL AND your avatar is totally awesome, thanks for the beautiful start to my morning.

Yes, RGV! I immediately thought of her going to pick up Diego as well. She keeps crying that she was completely bed ridden but she also got up to fight with Antonio twice the day he went to go visit Margarita after the Porfirio debacle. Antonio is way too nice for his own good.

That poor parrot...he must be hoping for an early death after Juana's talks.

Chickie..that is quite a good representation of Dr.Parrot.

I have a friend who had several miscarriages. The doctor finally put her on bedrest , and she listened to him and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Roxy is selfish and petulant. Same for Fab . Nobody wants to be a grownup.

Does Emilia keep scorecards rating dad and son? #allinthefamily

Thank you, Rgv Chick.

I question the wisdom of setting up the mechanic's shop by Sofia. It is very risky in financial and romantic way. She doesn't have THAT much money, should take care of it. And it is not really needed to win Ramon. One week ago she had no chance. Fabiola made sure to make the situation that could not be better for Sofia. Just slowly heel Ramon's wounds and win him over. If after a while he is still pining for Fabiola, than move on.

Taking into consideration what Susanlynn about someone wanting someone else, the biggest problem here is that, not only does everyone act like a lobotomized child, but there is not one stable couple in this thing to guide us through the muck. I know the protagonists are usually annoying with their breakups but there is always a second couple or a wise old couple to carry the romance torch.

Here the most stable relationships (thus far) are Santiago and Andrea (and that's saying a lot) and Juana and Mr. Parrot. We need a stable, actually committed couple to carry the love torch soon. I'm hoping Dalia reforms and Valente wins her heart because I'm rooting for those smoldering looks.

Lucio, you're welcome...and ITA, Sofia should insist on moving to another location...she's financing it, so she should put her foot down and just move elsewhere. Staying there will only allow Ramon to continue keeping tabs on Fabiola and possibly give him hopes...unless Francystco takes her to off to Canada quickly...like manana!

Kirby..I think that I may have inspired Dr. Suess to write CAt in the Hat.

I am pining for that windy vineyard , witchy blondes, clunky shoes, teen angst , soccer, inhalers, and...dare I say it...vests of many colors. #absencemakestheheartgrowstranger

Dr. Parrot is the talk of the town.

Thanks RGV for the excellent recap!!!

I keep trying to figure out who Sofia can end up with. Ramon's friend is one. Porf could be another. Augustin seems like a nice guy who deserves way better than the manipulative Roxi. Boy she didn't waste a moment to get him back by turning on the waterworks. I'm sure he'll find out soon enough that the baby was his and turn his back on her for lying.

I was trying to research that Cat in the Hat, but some old English film kept coming up 'Pussy in the Bonnet', and it didn't look to be for kids................

Alfredo, could the trend be TNs with stable-less couples? We didn't see one in Vino or Doble Vida either...come to think of it there were no priests either as there are none in this TN...wow!

Carvivlie, Valente is probably the only one that hasn't had a love interest yet. I had thought of Dalia, but she doesn't deserve him, so I vote goes to Sofia...OR a chance meeting with Santiago (if Andrea dumps him) would be nice, too. Sofia could go to Chili with him and be really far away from her father since we don;t know how long before he gets out.

Kirby, your parrots are a riot...thanks for adding that!

Kirby, "'Pussy in the Bonnet', " LMAO...I won't even go there! LOL

Carvivle...Valente must have been introduced as a consolation prize for some lucky girl, and I think that girl might be Sofia since she is being shown in such a positive light.

I think Roxy is going to be alone and lonely..that will be her anvil. Dalia will also not get matched up with anyone. Andrea and Jorge will learn somehow that they are not related and be together. Lu, Ben, Ma, Ada..do not care about tbat group.

I think that Marg and Ant will end up together because Ant seems donedonedone with Rox and Marg is disgusted with porf.

If Juana and tbe parrot are smart ..ha...they will end up with kindly , loyal, to!erant Pedro.

Am crazed at work but wanted to thank everyone for their witty, hilarious comments!

Excellent. All. Kirby and Rgv Chick, your avatars are the best!!

"the whole show is a vicious cycle of lots of people wanting people who want someone else" said it all Susanlynn! I'm still not sure how some will match up.

here is not one stable couple in this thing to guide us through the muck was perfect Alfredo.

I do think Valente is for Dalia. Heartless shrew and more.

Diana

Vino and Enamorandome seem like they were cut from the same drivel cloth and the common denominator is no stable couples. Everyone seems to run around with their head cut off, trying to get coupled up, but doing everything in their power to stop it from happening. I understand that usually romance tns are like this but my god is this one baddddd. Even when it's getting "better," it's getting worse.

I will forgive Doble Vida because there was narco, suspense and mystery in that one, which usually changes the rules.

" Lu, Ben, Ma, Ada..do not care about that group."

Me neither. But if that is how she serves a cup of tea, I'd Love to see her presentation of a plate of chicken wings. #hooterishiring

Alfredo ..yes, in both of those shows there are no priests or psychologists and each had one happily married couple but either both or one of the couple was killed off early in the show. Telenovelas have certainly changed..a sign of the times perhaps. There are still some happy marriages , but we no longer see them in telenovelas. Depressing.

Kirby..the tea for two scene was definitely a nod to the male gaze..not the female gaze. #whatever

Susy, yes. BUT: The show, based on the advertisers, does not appear aimed at us woofers. IE: There are all thoe Lagicam commercials and that 'Just Your Size' feminine products, but no Ryobi tools.

The clincher is that the other night I was checking my email while the commercials ran and saw a couple guys kissing out of the corner of my eye, not like Father and Son, but like Ramoon and Fabi. I thought WHOA what is this, and started paying attention just in time to see "ManHunt" on the screen, for some website or service or something.

So I decided they must not include dogs like me in their target audience.

Thank you for Recap RGV Chick, I am so late to the Patio today. I just wanted to Thank you and Cynthia as well. TN is getting interesting, I'm glad Vero is down and out. Also glad that Juana is not as stupid as she seems to be sometimes.

I think the dumbest of all is Fabiola, she needs more than a good spanking, she needs a good dose of reality and no one better to do this than Mr. Frank himself. She deserves whatever grief he gives her.

Thanks RGV Chick, great job once again! I loved it when you said it this way: "At Julio’s office, Juana drops by and coldly tells him that she already took care of signing over Fabi’s portion of the investments. She then demands to know why he is telling everyone that she is an important investor. She doesn’t understand how he can say he loves her if he was embarrassed by her. She then emphasizes that a servant is what she is; and she wants someone who will be proud of her."

I say, Go Juana! Now stand up for yourself and don't let anyone put you down! I guess Juana isn't as naive as she seems to be sometimes and I am glad she is seeing through Julio and his insincerity. But it really bothers me that she signed that document with Augustin without reading it.

My 2nd favorite part of this was Veronica getting arrested and having her rights read to her. Put that B*tch behind bars!

Firey recap,Thanks RgvChick. Ramon"how
Could she leave me for that guy?" Hah!
He said the same thing about him. These
People are so Messed up.

Poor porfi, got screwed by his lawschoo
L student.And marg was right,he should
Have known better to trust a stranger
Over his longtime friend and the one he Loves. But I guess he got stupid for a while. Really really stupid. But
So glad veronica her just deserts.

I love the way uncle Tony read fabiola
She is so impulsive,and dumb,she don't
Think before she jumps off of a cliff.
Ever!
I'm sick of hearing about that money.
I Hope somebody takes a it just to see
what the cooka roaches do.And how they react.

Now that lying liar roxy is gonna get hers. Is she really that dumb to think
That she'll get away with another dumb
Plot.Tony can destroy her.And he will.
I really don't think that the girl is using her brain. What little she has of one. Ok done.
It's cold here in North Flo Kirby, is it warm down there. Yesterday the weather guy said Miami and somewhere in Texas was the warmest place in the country. Hohum, good for them.

Thank you RVG Chick!
