Caer en Tentación #36, 12/11/17 Lunes: The Waiting Game
Labels: caer
I keep wondering about Azucena. She sure knows a lot and is very loyal to Dam.
CaliA
I never thought Miriam would do this but I'm glad that Raquel was there and that there were so many witnesses. Raquel now has grounds for a restraining order against Miriam, which could call a lot of other things into question.
Including the alleged contamination in the DNA test. Rafael is in Rueda's pocket.
Of course, she knocked up Beni!
Anon: When did Patricia get whacked & how ?
I don't trust Azucena either. Her body language said it all!
Plus, who's the bouncing baby Lola is holding all the time ?
I also thought the Fede/Sabrina scenes were in the past.
Mia/Therapist/Nico I thought was also in the past because her therapist just told her last week she had to cut off everyone who hurts her (Nico included).
I'm confused on whether it's Bebo working at Legato (since he got offered a job with Santiago) or if it's Lola working at Legato (b/c I'm under the impression Andres fired her).
Laura is playing dangerous games with Juan and Godoy is playing dangerous games with Cintia/Rafael.
In my cold opinion Raquel should let Miriam kill Damian, then have her arrested for Damian's murder so she can keep the money and be rid of Miriam & Damian in one fell swoop.
Patricia allegedly committed suicide but Lola got a letter last week sent by Patricia that accuses people (Miguel? Juan? Andres) of coming to get her. Lola gave Laura the letter and now Laura suspects Juan had something to do with Patricia's demise. Laura tried to give the letter to Antonio to investigate Patricia's death but he told her the case was closed & it was a suicide, even after reading Patricia's letter. That's why Laura went on the news and said it was a police cover up.
Azucena is loyal to her paycheck. Damian/Legato is signing her paycheck, not Raquel. Plus everyone knows or should know the administrative assistant is the one who knows all of the secrets and who is actually running things.
I don't think Alina can pull any tricks on Bebo. She very well might sleep with him but he knows what time it is. Nico & the other kid are young, dumb and horny. Especially dumb, which is why she went after them in the first place.
I think the Gabriela scenes are also in the past; we haven't seen Gabriela or Christian in the present.
Company underfoot, but I can answer you, Anon207, as I did Nina yesterday: Benji's paternity is about to be settled. The judge ordered a DNA test, which Santi didn't want, afraid Benji would be taken away from him if it turned out he was Damian's. It was taken a few episodes back.
What you have been seeing in the tres anos antes episodes is Damian insisting the baby to-be-born is his while Caro tells him they can't be sure since she also had sex with Santi at the family retreat 2.0, around the time she got pregnant.
In the last pregnancy, which ended with Caro's death, the baby was determined to be Santi's.
Now, it seems, the DNA on Benji was "corrupted???" So that's why it was being done again.
Haven't we discussed before that in Mexico, the next of kin gets the estate if someone dies intestate? Wouldn't that be Raquel, as his wife? If not Raquel, then it would have to go to Mia and Fede.....and Benji (!!).
Isn't Rueda trying to get info on both Santi AND Raquel, as per Miriam's orders? Then the two of them had better be careful. Raquel can still be charged with adultery.
Oh, well, WE would all be better off with Damian dead. So, on with the shew!
Damian may actually be Benjamin's father but we'll never know for sure because the police department is corrupt. Damian actually could've been the father of Caro's last pregnancy but we don't know if Antonio was telling Santiago the truth about that paternity or not.
I think if/once Raquel and Santiago discover the police department corrupted Benjamin's paternity tests they will choose not to find out for sure, and to raise him as Raquel & Santiago's child.
I don't think Damian will die but this will probably setback his potential recovery. My guess is he will wake up towards the end to say goodbye, ask for forgiveness etc.
I don't fully agree that if Nacho and Agustin had told Santiago what they saw/heard in regards to Caro and Damian that it would've made a difference. Caro would've still stayed with Damian. They were not only willing to abandon their spouses and older children but Benjamin as well. The botched DNA test seemed random to me. Why delay it further? Obviously Santiago was not happy. Poor Benjamin. To me he's the true victim of this story.
Andres and Mike seem the likely suspects of Patricia's death but Juan isn't off the list.
I don't think Bebo is that dumb to fall under Alina's spell. I wanna see more of her former boy toy though so we can get more background on her and her motives.
I don't know if Raq can ever trust Cin, but I think Cin is the only one that won't judge her in regards to her (Raq) feelings for Santiago.
I'm sure Rafael screwed up the DNA test and will try again. In other novelas we've seen the behind-the-scenes of this but not sure we will this time.
As for the DNA test, if the test results come back saying Benjamin is Damian's child (whether this is true or not) Miriam could theoretically sue for custody. However, she just jeopardized her chances of succeeding in this with her attempt on Damian's life. There were too many witnesses to her actions.
Santiago is this child's father in every definition that means anything. He loves this child, takes care of him, plays with him, and tucks him into bed at night. When did Damian do any of that?
I know nothing about Mexican inheritance law and since Miriam is the titular CEO of Legato she might end up with the company. We know that Andres only has a small share but we don't know whether Miriam or Damian has the largest share and therefore the controlling interest.
I am shocked by the ending! This seems completely out of character for Miriam, meaning that if she wanted to kill Damian she would have paid a nurse to do it or someone else. Could this be a dream? If it's not a dream then, whether or not Dam lives, she becomes suspect 1 in the murder of Caro.
I too am shocked about Miriam. You'd expect her to be more discreet, but she loves her son so maybe she got overcome by emotion seeing him helpless for so long.
Will Nico use his brains and tell his dad what his boss is up to? Such a shame both Nico and Lola have a perfectly good parent but they won't ask hime for help.
I am coming to the Raquel-Santi table. That poor woman needs some joy and if she can find it with Santi, despite all the baggage, I'm onboard.
Niecie: I really hope I'm wrong about Benjamin being Damian's....
Keeps on comin.
Alina is a piece of work. She's what U
Call twisted sister. I think she needs therapy. That won't happen.
There was a contamination?!?! Really?
Ok lets do it again. Ay these people.
Poor benji.
So the old girl wanted to take out her
Son. Sick ol biddy. Ok that's it for now.
One more thing, I really hope benji is
Not Damian's offspring. That would be
To cruel. Ok bye.
Thanks Urban.
My reaction to Miriam's attempt at 'mercy killing' of her only son, Damian, was: OK you're toast. Forget about the restraining order. Raquel needs to press charges for attempted murder of her husband and have Miriam arrested even if she's handcuffed to bed in a psych ward. Miriam's lawyer and Andres will try to prevent charges but I hope Raquel plays this card. Of course we have no idea where the writers will take this.
Bebo needs to watch his back with Juan who I think is quite capable of murder.
I also agree that Bebo needs to watch his back. Juan is perfectly capable of murder and should be in a psych ward right now.
