Caer en Tentacion #48, 12/27/17: Damian, you are the daddy!
- Nicolas gets a call from Federico telling him that Mia has flown the coop, poor Fede is uber upset but in his place I'd be throwing a party because it's not like Mia is pleasant to be around.
- Nico tells Federico that Benjamin is not Santiago's son, Fede later breaks the news to his mom.
- Lola is a hot mess, she can't imagine not having little Benjamin around.
- Nicolas tells Lola and Santi that he spilled the beans and told Federico about the DNA test, they blow up at him- the plan was to keep things quiet in order to be one step ahead of the Becker's.
- Santiago wants Nicolas to call Alina so that she can find a way to help them keep custody of Benjamin, but Nico freezes and wont call her,
- Nicolas tells Lola that the only one to blame for her anguish is their mother, she blew up their family.
- In the past:
- Carolina names the baby Benjamin as requested by Damian, everyone falls in love with the new bebe.
- Carolina's doctor is mega confused about who the daddy is but he keeps quiet and helps Carolina protect her slutty secret.
- Raquel visits Carolina and the new baby, she tells Carolina that she wants to have a baby and that maybe after seeing Benjamin Damian will change his mind about not having any more children.
- Andres warns Damian about Vicente and tells him that he's a danger and that he has to get rid of him, then he asks if Caro's baby is his.
- In the hospital, Vicente has shown up and wants to visit Carolina and the baby but Caro refuses to see him and he gets sent away, before he leaves he tells Santiago to tell Carolina that the snub will cost her.
- Also in the past Lola gets in trouble when Miguel shows up in Acapulco, he bring a girl with him and she does cocaine and dies, Lola wants to call the police but they drug her to keep her from doing so. Patricia takes advantage of the situation on rapes Lola.
- Raquel and Damian have sex, she then tells him that she had the patch taken off and Damian is furious, it is clear that he does not want another child with her- she tells him it's okay, her doctor gave her a shot and they won't be having another child, but she tells him that he really should go visit Carolina and the baby.
- Santiago is in need of money but no bank will loan it to him, Nacho suggests that he get a loan from Raquel.
- Vicente shows up drunk at Carolina's house, he wants to see the baby but Carolina wants him out of the house, he's already getting money from Damian and that should be enough. Vicente tells her that she is a horrible sister, that she never cared about him and that while everyone believes she's the good one he knows better, he's still bitter about her leaving him behind. Dude, get help to get over your issues.
- In the present:
- Miriam tells Mia that the factory will be going to her, when Mia asks what that means for Federico Miriam tells her that while Fede is a good kid he is too much like his mother and he's gay...what would the other workers think about this?
- Raquel finally reaches Santiago, he is upset and questions her about what she plans to do with the information about Benjamin's real papa.

I can't believe Santiago thinks Raquel would take Benjamin away from him. He knows her better than that. She would be the first in line to help him. He should be worried about Miriam though.
Lola and Nico are just like their mother. Carolina wasn't very smart and I think her stupidness rubbed off on her kids, especially Lola. She shouldn't have been hanging around Patricia. The girl that overdosed looked familiar. I feel like I've seen that actress before. I could be wrong but I thought she was the actress that played Nati in Triunfo del Amor.
I think there's more to Vicente than meets the eye. Obviously there's a reason why he treats Carolina the way he does like she owes him something. I'm sure their conversation isn't over.

Andres seems to enjoy torturing his cousin. Why ask a question to which he already knows the answer?

Juju--Thank you. Your "just the facts, ma'am" recaps always turn into a juicy little repast. Goes great with tea and cookies in the middle of the afternoon.
This was another filler episode that advanced the story line just ever so much, but you certainly make it entertaining.
Of course, TF, Santi should know Raq better than that. He's the one that has seen her through the worst of her fits to the best of her lovemaking. No way would she take Benji away from him unless it was to save Benji from being taken by Miriam or placed in foster care.
I felt so sorry for Raquel in this episode. My heart just went out to her wanting another baby so much and Damian turning a cold shoulder to her. I'm sure they had decided mutually not to have any more children after losing that second pregnancy, but that was no way to treat Raq when her mothering instincts were so strong after seeing Caro and her baby.
No, the Vicente story hasn't been told yet to anybody's satisfaction. It was hinted at early on and no one here could figure out whether it was something really big or merely his anger at and jealousy of Caro taking Lisa's side and that sale of the family home which left him in a shack. I wonder if we will ever find out what she needed the money for. It couldn't be for Santi because the rift had already taken place by the time she got pregnant and had Benji.
Did they say why Santi needed a loan? I hope he doesn't listen to Nacho and doesn't go to a loan shark.
I sure hope Fernando manages to stay out of Laura's clutches and stops giving her information. Now that Rafael is locked up, her sources have dried up. Good! I hope they demote her to behind the camera reporting.

Continued--about Raquel and Dam and the new baby. I guess what I felt for Raquel was Damian's feelings about the new baby, which poor Raq doesn't know about. He's gaga over that baby and even went so far as to name the baby himself. I wonder when we'll ever find out he was the one in the delivery room--a very intimate and joyous occasion. There's no way to write this one off if Santi or Raq find out and she tries to say it was a coincidence he was there at the right time.

I can't understand why Raquel would want another baby now. I have several friends with significantly older siblings and this doesn't usually turn out well. For the baby's sake I hope Mia doesn't find out about this for a while, but when Miriam hears this she will sue for custody no matter what and Benjamin will be very unsafe under the same roof with her and especially with Mia.
Vicente is a monster and is likely blaming Carolina for simply existing. Since he has physically abused his wife he has no credibility with me.
Fernando needs to be rid of Laura and she needs to get an ethics transplant.

Damian is an animal. I cannot condone what they are doing. Just get a divorce leave your family alone and go have your fling.....that's all I have to say about that.

Juju--Damian doesn't want to leave Raq. He'd lose status with the scandal. He's all about appearances, despite what he tells Caro.
But Anita, he did leave and only went back after Carolina threatened to end the affair unless he went back to Raquel.

I agree with you in that I do believe Damian would have left Raquel for Caro permanently if she hadn't backtracked and told him she would leave him. I think Damian has fleeting guilt (mostly because of Mia) but think he would basically have given everything up for Caro.
I would like Raquel to find happiness elsewhere, in a situation where she is the one and only and there are not shadows of misery of a past too problematic to escape from.
Mia and Miriam deserve each other.
I really hope Santiago had nothing to do with Caro's murder. Benji needs him.
