(Tonight’s
recap was actually written by Alfredo
because yesterday was only one episode and he had all this leftover recap
(great stuff!) because he thought Thursday was going to be another double
episode into one. I’m posting this for him, but adding the screenshots. Thank
you Alfredo!)
Julio
tells Hortensia that she has everything she needs to take care of herself and
storms off. Once alone, Hortensia declares that she is still the head of the
family and she will be respected until the end of her days on earth.
The
detectives show Francisco the security tape of Dario, but the detectives think
there are too many inconsistencies in his statement as he first said it was
Ramon, then that he was confused and now he seems to recognize him. Carlos
reminds the detective that it’s not his job to judge and the detective nods,
but he finds it strange that Francisco also has no idea who the man who
attacked him is, especially because said man went only to his apartment, didn’t
take anything, and only attacked him. Francisco tells them that it’s their job
to figure out his attacker’s motive and the detective tells him not to worry as
they will find out what it is. Francisco looks like nervous wreck at this
point.
At home,
Dalia tells Valente about what happened at RamSo. Valente reprimands her for
not leaving the shop when he told her and she’s lucky that it was only the
police and not a narco. Luisa and Ramon arrive then, and Dalia tells them that
she’s without work again because RamSo is closed until further notice. Luisa
wonders where Sofia is, and Ramon explains that she has disappeared but they
all thank their lucky stars that she’s out of their lives for now and tells
them all never to mention her name again. Ramon then receives a call form
Antonio, who tells him to be strong for Fabiola and offers him his job back at MedFer.
Ramon immediately accepts and tells him he will be there tomorrow. After
hanging up, he tells everyone and they all congratulate him. Luisa tells him
that everything will get better from now on and Dalia begs him to please put in
a good word for him. Ramon promises to help but can’t promise he will succeed.
Reyna and
her cellmates find Fabiola and tell her that they will find her soon because
they need more supplies. Fabiola, with fear in her eyes, pass by them and Reyna
instructs one cellmate to entertain Alicia and the other to follow Fabiola to
the phones and make sure she goes to the laundry room. They both oblige.
Fabiola
calls Ramon, who tells her that they will call Jorge and Andrea to declare in
her favor. Fabiola hopes that it will help her case and then reminds him that
tomorrow is visiting day. Ramon promises to ask Antonio for permission to go,
as he gave him his job back, and Fabiola tells him that MedFer will be the best
mechanic shop when she gets out and they begin running it. Ramon doesn’t like
that the woman he loves would be his boss, but they promise to talk it over.
Reyna’s cellmate arrives then, gives Fabiola the death stare, and she quickly
says goodbye to Ramon before hanging up. Once she does, the cellmate tells her
that she ran into Alicia on the way over and she needs her help in the laundry
room. Fabiola nods and goes on her way but runs into a guard. She tells the
guard that she is going to find Alicia in the laundry room and the guard lets
her pass.
A few
moments later, she reaches the entry of the laundry room and is surprised by
Reyna, who holds her by the neck and tells her it’s a pity she must kill her as
she was starting to like her. Fabiola can’t say anything as Reyna turns her
around and stabs her right in the stomach. Fabiola looks at Reyna for a moment
and then faints as Reyna pulls the icepick out then says, “You are going to a
better place.” She then drags Fabiola to one of the shower stalls in the
bathroom and leaves her on the floor to bleed to death. She laments the fact
that no one will find her until she’s died.
Alicia is
reading her book when Reyna’s other cell mate comes and asks her to join their
sports team. Alicia is unsure as she already promises another team, but it
doesn’t matter as the other cellmate comes and tells her that Reyna is looking
for her. Alicia, who had been holding her breath, finally breathes calmly.
Francisco
is having a beer at home when Hortensia arrives to talk. Francisco lets her in
and Hortensia sits down before revealing that Rebeca told her everything.
Francisco argues that Rebeca is crazy, but Hortensia remembers everything he
did, regardless of what Rebeca told her. She should tell the police, but she will
make a deal: remove the adultery charge against Fabiola and she will keep her
mouth shut. Francisco has no other option but to accept though Hortensia
instructs him to tell her family that she begged him to do it and he listened. Francisco
doubts they will believe him, but he nods. He tells her to have her family
remove the charges against him, but Hortensia tells him that those charges have
nothing to do with her and he needs to take care of them himself. Francisco
promises to remove the charge tomorrow, but Francisco demands he call his
lawyer right now and do it. Francisco reluctantly obliges and calls Carlos to
tell him he will remove the adultery charge if Fabiola’s lawyers remove they’re
against him. Carlos nods but warns him that he can’t charge Fabiola with
adultery twice and Francisco understands. Carlos promises to call Fabiola’s
lawyers tomorrow, so they can make an official statement tomorrow. He hangs up,
but Hortensia demands they go see Margarita also, so they can move the case
along. Francisco goes though he looks anything but happy.
Sofia is
in her room when the henchman comes in and tells him that he brought news, not
that Fabiola is dead, but that Rosendo is planning to leave for a few hours to
take care of some things and it’s her chance to escape. He then gives her a
cellphone, so they can communicate, and asks her to keep it hidden before
leaving.
Reyna
calls the contact, Dober, to tell him that Fabiola is dead and demands to know
when she will get the money. He tells her soon and Reyna warns him not to tug
her rope for much longer before hanging up.
Rosendo
calls Lauro to ask him about how things are going. Lauro tells him that
everything still thinks he’s hiding in the forest and Rosendo smiles wide. His
henchman then gets a text from Dober, who informs him that Fabiola is dead, as
instructed.
Hortensia
arrives at Margarita’s office with Francisco to talk about Fabiola. They sit down,
and Francisco gives Margarita the perfect spiel about Hortensia convincing him
to please remove the adultery charges. Margarita doesn’t believe either one of them,
but she will take his offer and asks him what he wants in return. Margarita
wants the charges against him dropped though and Margarita goes to call
Porfirio to tell him. Porfirio assumes that the pressure got to Francisco, but
Margarita still doesn’t believe Francisco or Hortensia did it out of the kindness
of their hearts. Porfirio will call Ramon though and see if he wants to take
the offer. When he hangs up, Margarita calls Pedro to also let him know what
happened.
In his
room, Ramon tells Valente that he feels things are finally getting better,
starting with Antonio’s job offer. He hopes Fabiola is out of jail soon and
Valente asks if they plan to be married. Ramon will have to consult Margarita,
as Fabiola is already married, but he can’t say more as Porfirio calls him to
tell him about Francisco’s offer. Ramon immediately accepts, and Porfirio hopes
Fabiola is out tomorrow, early. Porfirio then reveals that it was thanks to Hortensia’s
help, and Ramon doesn’t believe it either, but he’s happy to see Fabiola out of
jail either way.
Alicia
goes out her cell to find Fabiola but runs into the same guard. The guard
orders her to stay put as the bell is going to ring but Alicia needs to find Fabiola.
The guard tells her that Fabiola went to go find her earlier, but Alicia is
confused. Just then, the bell rings and the guards put Alicia in her cell
before going to find Fabiola.
Margarita
comes back and tells Hortensia and Francisco that they are waiting for Ramon to
accept their offer. Hortensia can’t believe everything hinges on Ramon, but
Margarita reminds them that Francisco also hurt Ramon. She then receives a call
from Porfirio, who tells her that Ramon accepted, and she tells Hortensia the
news. She then tells them both that they should go home as no documentation
will be ready until morning. They all leave and turn off the lights.
Ramon goes
to tell Luisa the good news about Fabiola and then asks her to ask Valente how
everything happened. He then leaves to tell Juana the good news.
The guards
arrive at the bathroom and find a very pale Fabiola unconscious on the bathroom
floor. They sound the alarm and go check her pulse.
The
henchman goes to Sofia and tells her that Fabiola is finally dead, as ordered.
She smiles wide and promises to pay him the money she owes him, soon. The
henchman locks the floor then and tells her that he’s not charging her money
but wants something else. She smiles and lays down in bed, so he can have his
way with her though she frowns as soon as he begins to kiss her neck.
The prison
doctor orders the nurses to call an ambulance as they need to transfer Fabiola
to a hospital. He then orders two units of blood, fast, or they will lose her.
Fabiola has not regained consciousness.
Ramon goes
to visit Juana and tells her the good news before engulfing her in a big bear
hug. She smiles wide when she hears the news.
Rulo
arrives home with dinner for Dario but finds that he has left without telling
him. He hopes Dario is not going to do something stupid.
Margarita
is driving home when Antonio calls her to ask if she’s coming over. She can’t
as she’s on her way to the police station because Francisco removed the
adultery charge. Antonio thinks this is great news, but wonders how it
happened. Margarita begins to tell him.
Ramon
reveals that Hortensia was the one who convinced Francisco and, even though
she’s shocked, she calls Jorge and Andrea to tell her the good news. Jorge
thinks it’s great and then passes the phone to Andrea, who wants to go see her
immediately. Juana tells her that they can’t right now but will soon. Andrea smiles
wide and hugs Jorge.
Fabiola is
wheeled into the hospital and everyone does everything they can to save her
life. Just then, Fabiola wakes up and begs the doctors to save her baby as
she’s 3 months pregnant. She then begs the doctor to call Ramon and gives them
the number, so they can call. They immediately go to do so as Fabiola cries.
Hortensia
arrives home, happy to see that her plan worked, and her family will love her
again. She hopes they come soon and thank her in person before calling Julio,
who doesn’t answer. She wonders where the hell he could be but smiles when she
thinks of the line of people who will come thank her.
Julio is
at the casino getting chips at the cashier’s station but can’t get his credit
card to work. He asks the attendant to try it again, but it doesn’t pass and
Julio thanks him for nothing. He then receives a call from Juana but doesn’t
answer and curses her for her incessant calling.
Margarita
arrives at the station and thanks Pedro for being there as she knows it’s late.
Pedro doesn’t mind as it’s for a good cause and then asks about Francisco.
Francisco arrives then and goes to remove the adultery charge, so they can
remove the charges against him.
Juana
tells Ramon about Antonio’s job offer and confesses that he’s excited to work
with Fabiola again. He then tells her about their plans to make MedFer the best
mechanic shop and Juana smiles because things are finally looking up. He then
gets a call from the prison doctor, who reveals that Fabiola was stabbed and
she’s in grave danger. He begins to cry and demands to know the hospitals he is
at. The doctor tells him, and Ramon hangs up before telling Juana, who hopes
nothing bad happens. Ramon then calls Margarita to tell her.
Francisco
is finally removing the charge when Ramon calls her, but Margarita doesn’t
answer and sends him a text message. Juana then calls Pedro, who answers, as
Ramon leaves to go to the hospital, and tells him what happened. He promises to
tell Margarita and hangs up. As he tells her, Francisco overhears and smiles
big.
The nurse
tells the doctor that they are moving Fabiola to the OR immediately and he
tells her that he spoke with Ramon, who is on his way. They wheel her out then.
Julio is
driving home, cursing his luck at the casino, when Juana calls him again. He
finally answers and Juana, who is in a taxi with Ramon, tells him what happened.
Julio can’t believe this is happening and Juana tells him that she’s on her way
to the hospital, so he can meet her there.
Alicia
speaks with the warden and tells him that she was worried about Fabiola because
she never came back and found it strange that she went to the laundry room to
find her when they hadn’t talked. She then tells him that she was new, and
barely knew anyone, though Reyna was harassing her for supplies the past few
days. The warden asks the guard to bring Reyna to the office and the guard nods
before leaving with Alicia.
Moments later
the guard wakes Reyna up in her cell and tells her to wake up as the warden
wants to talk to her because they found another inmate gravely injured in the
bathroom. Reyna is shocked that Fabiola is still alive but goes anyway.
Ramon and
Juana arrive at the hospital and ask for Fabiola. The receptionist tells him
then that she is in the OR and they should go ask on that floor for updates.
They run into Julio and Margarita then and they all go to find out how Fabiola
is.
Reyna goes
to the warden’s office and he asks her where she was between certain hours of
the day. Reyna tells him that she was in her cell and her cellmate can vouch
for her. The warden tells her that he knows she was bothering Fabiola, but
Reyna argues that Fabiola is new, and everyone messes with the new fish. The
warden warns her that they will find out the truth and she will be in trouble
if they find out she had something to do with the stabbing. He then orders the
guard to take Reyna back to her cell.
The
doctors finish working on Fabiola and transfer her to a room. They then go
outside and explain to Ramon, et al, that the weapon she was stabbed with
didn’t perforate major organs though it did cause massive internal hemorrhaging,
which was hard to control. They warn them that they must wait and see because
they have no idea how she responds now. They hope it is good because she’s
young and strong, but they must wait. Ramon then asks about the baby and the
doctors warn that there can be a miscarriage as Fabiola’s bodily systems were severely
affected even if the weapon didn’t touch the baby. Juana hopes everything will
be okay.
The next
day, everyone is in the waiting room when Andrea and Jorge bring them all
coffee. Julio takes the opportunity to go eat breakfast and take a shower but
no one else wants to move. Margarita then gets a call from Pedro, who tells her
that Fabiola is finally free. Margarita thanks him and Pedro hopes to see her
soon. She hangs up and tells everyone the great news. Just then, the doctor
comes out and tells Ramon that Fabiola is reacting satisfactorily and takes him
to see her. Julio thinks it’s great and then asks Juana if she wants to come
with him. Juana would prefer to stay so he goes alone.
In the
hallway, the doctor tells Ramon that they must wait to see if the baby survives
as Fabiola had spotting overnight. He assures Ramon that they will do
everything to save Fabiola’s life, which is the most important thing. Ramon
silently nods.
At MedFer, Rulo tells Chava that Dario has disappeared, and he has no idea
where he is. Chava hopes he doesn’t do anything drastic and Rulo worries that
he will kill Francisco and ruin their plans. Chava is sure nothing bad has
happened, as they would’ve heard about it by now, and Rulo nods before going to
work on a car with Lucho.
Ramon goes
to visit Fabiola and slowly calls her name until she wakes up. He tells her
that they must be strong but Fabiola worries about their baby. Ramon ells her
that she must be okay, so their baby can be as well before telling her that
she’s free because Francisco removed the adultery charge. She cries then and
tells him that she never wants to be apart from him. Ramon holds her hands and
assures her that they will have their own house soon and be together forever.
Just then, the doctor brings in two detectives to get Fabiola’s statement about
what happened. Ramon tells them that she’s weak, but they insist as she’s
conscious. Ramon nods and then goes to get Margarita quickly.
Julio
arrives home and finds Osvaldo smiling. He asks Julio if the party was good, as
he’s coming back home in the morning, but Julio reveals what happened with
Fabiola. Osvaldo is floored and asks him how she’s doing and if she is going to
go back to the jail. Julio tells him that she’s better and is free because
Francisco removed the charge. Osvaldo nods and then leaves without another
word.
The
detectives tell Fabiola that they are only investigating the murder attempt
against her. Margarita and Ramon arrive then and greets the detectives before
asking Fabiola to not be nervous and tell the police what happened. Fabiola
declares that it was another inmate, Reyna, who stabbed her and told her it was
a shame because she was stating to like her.
Rulo finds
Osvaldo and asks him for some car parts. Osvaldo tells him to grab it form the
warehouse and Rulo obliges before asking about Fabiola and Francisco. Osvaldo
tells him what happened with Fabiola and reveals that they caught Francisco’s
attacker on camera. Rulo is shocked that all this is happening and suggests
that the Medina-Fernandez family do a cleanse. He then goes back to work as
Osvaldo sips his coffee, frowning.
Over
breakfast, Hortensia calls Julio, who reveals that he didn’t answer because he
was at the hospital with Fabiola because she was stabbed last night. Hortensia
chides him for not telling sooner but Julio didn’t think she cared. Hortensia reminds
him that she got Fabiola out of jail and demands to know where she is, so she
can visit. Julio doesn’t think it’s a good idea, as she only fights with Juana
and Ramon, and Hortensia agrees. She then asks if Fabiola is okay and she knew
it was because of her the charges against her were dropped. Julio confirms
Fabiola is better and doesn’t think they should bother her with nonsense right
now. He then hangs up as Hortensia curses herself for not asking about Fabiola’s
bastard. She then smiles and says, “Well with any luck, if Fabiola is in such
critical condition, maybe she will lose the bastard.”
Juana goes
to visit Fabiola and asks her how she feels. Fabiola confesses that everything
hurts but she doesn’t want any more medicine as she’s worried about her baby.
She begins to cry and asks Juana why all these terrible things have happened to
them…
