After the tuba oompah-pahs the intro . . .

Julieta is sure about adopting Dave for the right reasons. Robert tells her he is on board and they will get the adoption process going. Dave will have the best parents in the world.

Gabriel is trying to get ready for his date and is dealing with Marissa at the same time.

Clarissa pays Daniela a visit to tell her that Gabriel is cheating on her. Daniela throws her out but not before being told that Gabriel is going on a date with a beautiful friend and being left a card with the address of the restaurant they are meeting at.

Frida is not herself and Marisol tries to find out what is going on but Frida is not talking. Frida says it is just because she has a lot of homework. Marisol tells her about doing the Xavi video and wanting her to be the official choreographer. She also tells her that Xavi asked her to be novios. What does Frida think? Frida is not bothered by them being novios at all. She likes Xavi and the fact that they novios.

Aristóteles tells his parents about his modeling experience. He finally feels like he is good at something. They make him perform his lines for them. They are also excited he could memorize his lines with seeing them only once. Audifaz wants to go and celebrate. Polita has to remind him there is no food: with Blanca being gone the Tupperware is empty. Audifaz is insistent on them going out to celebrate.


Daniela tells Marisol about Clarissa and her message. Daniela is upset because she did overhear Gabriel on the phone making plans to go out with a girl to a restaurant which is the same thing that his sister is telling her. Marisol wants her to slow down and talk with him first. Daniela calls Gabriel to try to nail down the truth. She asks him where he is. He is at home. What is he going to do? He is going to sleep so he does not have dark circles under his eyes. She wants to know why they cannot go to the movies. He says what about tomorrow since he has some business that needs to get settled. She wants to know who he needs to get it settled with. It is just a formality so that they leave him in peace. After they hang up, Daniela it is still looking at the card with the address.

Catalina, Hugo and Diana are eating when Catalina finds out that Hugo and Diana know where Bruno is from the photo he posted on Facebook. He went out to eat with Linda. Catalina now wants to set up a Facebook account so she can win the war against Linda.

Robert tells Julieta that the adoption process can be complicated and that they need to be patient because they could be rejected in the end. Julieta sees them as being very good candidates. She tells him about Ana and Tulio showing up at the orphanage with plans of adopting Dave. Robert is shocked. Their conversation is cut short when the doorbell rings. Imelda has dragged Eugenio over to Robert and Julieta’s to make peace with Julieta and that is what they do. Julieta accepts their apology. Eugenio tells them he has decided to win Blanca’s heart again. Julieta invites Eugenio and Imelda to stay for supper as well as inviting Marisol, Frida, . . . Robert will use a few tricks in the kitchen to feed them all.

Blanca announces to her sisters that she is going to continue to be brave and learn another language. Amalia is now all concerned about being Enzo’s girlfriend and not knowing what to do when it comes to sex. Her sisters tell her to follow her heart.

The whole family has now ended up at Julieta and Robert’s for supper. Bruno and Linda arrive. Imelda remarks about not knowing they were friends. Linda says they are just acquaintances. Julieta tells Linda that she wants to talk to her later by herself. Daniela is clearly distracted. Gabriel calls Daniela. Daniela leaves the table to talk to him. She wants to know why things are so mysterious. He cannot tell her right now but he will tell her tomorrow. She just has to believe him that he is doing it for their freedom. Back at the supper table, Linda lets her loose lips slip and suddenly everyone knows that Gabriel gave Daniela an engagement ring. Eugenio is not too happy. Robert says Daniela did not mention it because she didn’t want to bother him with the problems he was going through with Blanca. Robert and Julieta stand up for Daniela and Gabriel. Imelda agrees with Robert and Julieta. She reminds Eugenio that they were begging Daniela to find a guy and get married, so now they cannot complain about this.

Hugo helps Catalina set up a Facebook account. They start off with her taking a bunch of not very flattering selfies to post.

Eugenio tracks Daniela down to ask her about her engagement and why she did not tell him. She explains that with all of the problems he was having she didn’t want to be the cause of any more stress with him not being well. She did it out of love. He tells her he will not oppose her engagement and that he wants to share her happiness with her. Daniela has to leave.

Audifaz and the family end up at a high priced restaurant to celebrate. Audifaz is going crazy ordering lobster, crab legs and filet making his own surf and turf. Polita and Aristóteles are both worried about everything being so expensive.

Back at supper, Julieta helps Eugenio send Blanca a voice message. He tells her how much he misses her and is in tears. He tells her he loves her more now than the first day he saw her. Blanca hears the message with her sisters amd is clearly affected by it. Belén tells her that Eugenio clearly loves her and wants her to come home. Blanca says he never has spoken to her like that before. Amalia knows it was a pretty message and all but it is just the beginning and that Eugenio is going to have to put some effort into winning her back. Blanca nods.

Gabriel is at the restaurant and already eating when Priscilla arrives. He puts on an act about having an illness and as long as she does not touch him she won’t catch it. He tells her about having a novia and what a wonderful girl she is. By the way, it is time to toast to his novia. Just at that moment, Daniela walks in and sees them together. She calls his name and Gabriel jumps up.

Julieta is having that conversation with Linda. Julieta has prepared a list of requirements Linda is going to have to fulfill if she wants to be Bruno’s novia. Linda does not see that as fair at all. Julieta insists it is by reminding Linda how she said that Julieta was going to have to earn her spot in the family. Now it is Linda’s turn. Julieta is the only one smiling.

Gabriel tries to explain things to Priscilla but Daniela takes over creating a drama of her own saying that she followed him from “their” home. Everything he has told Priscilla is a lie. She arms Priscilla that Ganriel is a liar. He is also going to be a father. Daniela says that she is selecting Hanriel’s child. Priscilla is less than impressed. Daniela tells her not to break up a family. Daniela turns and leaves telling Ganriel that she will raise their child alone. Gabriel has to leave. He didn’t know he had a child. Cassandra and Clarissa have overheard the whole thing and are upset.

Once outside, Gabriel tries to explain things to Daniela but she has had it. He lies. He insists it was a “date of obligation”. She grabs a a taxi and leaves. Gabriel gets into his car to follow the taxi to Daniela’s house.

Linda cannot believe the conditions Julieta has put on her. They are crazy. Examples: Linda has to recycle all of Julieta’s garbage everyday. Julieta tells her she can take it or leave it and smiles. Another example: Linda has to go with Catalina to her appointments with her psychic. Linda wants it to be fair so why not they make up a list together. Julieta reminds Linda that she was not fair with her. If she wants to be accepted she will have to win Julieta over. Did Linda read the one about the foot massage once a week? Julieta just smiles.

Eugenio has also noticed that Frida is looking sad. Marisol knows it is more than homework and will try to find out what is going on.

Eugenio is upset that Julieta has not answered yet. He does take responsibility for having take so long to really value her. Imelda tells him not to give up and that that this is barely first step. Eugenio has an idea of his own of how to woo Blanca. He whispers it to Robert who thinks it is a great idea but they are keeping it a secret for the rest of the family.

Hugo goes on explaining to Catalina on how her account is going to work. No, more “likes” will not make her any money. It isn’t about money.

Being at a distance, Blanca has realized that she still does love Eugenio but is in no rush to get back home despite what Eugenio is saying. It has been all talk and no action so far. She wants to take her time to feel stronger and not to give up the adventure that she has begun. Suddenly, the sisters hear music. Eugenio with the accompaniment of Xavi and presence of Robert is there to serenade Blanca. They finish their song but Blanca has not acknowledged Eugenio. Finally ,Blanca comes out. He says he never gave her a serenade before and he also brought her a bouquet of roses, one rose for each year they have been married. Eugenio admits to having been very machista and now wants to get her something everyday. She thanks him and goes inside with her flowers.

Julieta is delivering her garbage to Linda to be recycled when she sees that Gabriel has followed Daniela back home. Daniela refuses to talk to him and closes the door in his face. He ends up going to talk to Julieta.

Back at the restaurant, Audifaz gets the bill and does not have enough money. So, he plans to leave all the cash he has (about 50 percent of the bill) and then he and his family can run out as fast as they can. That is what they do. The waiter calls for security and they chase Audifaz and family down the street.

Gabriel tells Julieta what happened. She tells him he should have told Daniela the truth before any of it went down.

Robert talks to his stepparents about adopting Dave. They are behind him all the way. Robert is worried about being as good as a father as his stepfather was to him.

Tomorrow Julieta and Robert will start the adoption process for Dave. She teases him about wanting a serenade where he does the singing.
