the cops arrive and haul Roberto away, Susan/Ernesto sorting through what happened, turns out the gun did have blanks in it, what?

at the station Rob's lawyer rips on him, you did exactly what I told you not too, if I'm to continue you need to do what I say and pay me twice the fee, Rob oks and asks him to have Sara bring him some clothes, when she does he asks her about the blanks, yes, I switch the bullets, I didn't want you to do anything foolish, ah....

blanks? hmm, so Rob's lawyer has an angle, he brought a mental specialist to see Rob, with the drugs Rob had been taking (antioxi... something) they'll go for temporary insanity, later when Rob was playing Cris, he says he didn't remember anything, pleads with Cris to kill him so that he won't be able to hurt Aurora.

Paloma is missing so Mike rips on Paco, this isn't a swingers club, we are professionals here, so when she does arrive, Paco rips on her, later he finds out she was with Aurora.

Meche goes to see Aurora, Cris doesn't.

(one week passes)

Paco slides up to Paloma, wants to have lunch together, she says she has a date, and heads out to be at Aurora's trial.

the trial, nothing was said about the attempted murder, (and we were spared a ridiculous novela trial) but Aurora does get the permanent restraining order. Cris gulps down an apology to Aurora, (of course Juanjo and Sere are no where to be seen when he appears).

Leo has talked to Alexis, she says the solution is to go out in public as a woman, she'll make sure it is safe for him, and the day comes, wow, he looks even better than when he was in the play, Sofi is lurking in the background, snaps some pictures, she doesn't look happy.

Aurora moves back to her and Robs house, (is this a good idea as we see Sara lurking outside), Paloma will stay with her for a week, Rob comes to get his stuff escorted by Ernesto, he pitters around in the kitchen, says he has celiac disease [a serious autoimmune disorder that can occur in genetically predisposed people where the ingestion of gluten leads to damage in the small intestine] everyone gets bored and leaves him to it, he grabs a knife.

meanwhile Aurora has locked herself in her bedroom with Emilio where none of his stuff is, Susan arrives and tries to speed things up, Rob pleads to say goodbye to his son, and is wearing everyone down, Aurora won't face him so Paloma takes him the baby, but wait, Susan has Ernesto frisk Rob, he finds the knife, yes it's pretty clear what Aurora has been through, (so why are they letting this guy walk), Susan tells him the conditions of the restraining order, 500 feet, and sends him on his way.

Juanita- you asked me about Rob's lawyer, hmm, who was Juanjo's lawyer?

deb, you've produced another fantastic recap. There were several things I didn't catch while watching last night with Spanish captions. One is Rob's asking Cris to kill him so he won't hurt Aurora. I'm surprised I didn't catch that. Also missed the business about celiac disease. I'm hoping that Sofi doesn't circulate the photos she took. I'm not at all surprised that she's not happy. I have great sympathy for Leo, but I sure wouldn't be happy if my novio wanted to be a novia.

How in the world can they let Roberto run loose, especially after they find he's got a knife??? I used to think Susan had her head screwed on correctly, but not now. And Ernesto?? He saw Sara stroking Rob's face and promising him that he can count on her FOREVER. Why doesn't Ernesto say something about this to Susan? Sara, after all, is Rob's primary (sole?) witness. Arrgh....

BTW, in answer to your question, deb, I don't recall who Juanjo's lawyer was. I suppose it could have been the same one Rob is using, but I just don't remember.

Juanita, I'm not sure if I got the scene with Rob and Cris exactly right, but it went like this, Rob was back at the winery and explaining to Cris that he was working in his office one day and the next thing he remembers is that he was arrested, he pleads with Cris to do what ever it takes to keep him from hurting Aurora (I think killing him or putting him in jail were a couple of the options) because he would never want to hurt Aurora (and we all know that he does remember, and it's the lawyer that told him how to play this).

I don't remember the lawyers either.

Thanks, deb abd Juanita. I think we can all agree that Rob should be locked up right now. However as Susan mentioned he's now acting outside of "temporary" insanity. I hope that's why he's free...to elimate the insanity plea as an option, and that's if he's not murdered. He has officially lost the respect of everyone in town, so he has nothing to lose and he's still scheming. I missed the part where he asked Cris to relieve him of his misery. And should we also assume that the house cameras have all be removed and the locks changed? Or does Rob, through Sara, still have access? Of course she's only at the house because Cris didn't ask her to come home. The house is supposedly far away from town so it's probably not a good option even with Paloma's one-week visit.

Leo could've be a better brother throughout Aurora's ordeal, but battling demons is probably better left to Paloma. Not sure if Sofi is secretly supporting Leo or planning to out him with the trans photo. I think he told his new friend that he'd never come out as a woman to those in his town. So we're left to wonder about Sofi's next move.

Serena's still putting the breaks on those "innocent" hugs between Juanjo and Aurora. On the one hand I agree because Juanjo tends to lose himself and forget about Serena. He needs to be conscious of her and how it makes her feel. On the other hand he's clearly holding back emotions that are normal and fairly innocent which means something's gotta give soon. Still hoping an eligible bachelor will appear for her.

Nobody seems to notice Sara, so that means she should be able to help Rob get what he wants, which at this point might be Emilio. Then in his twisted mind he would think that he could force Aurora to take him back in order to be with Emilio. Yeah, right.

I don't think Sofi would intentionally let those photos come out, but somehow they'll come out anyway, and we know how Cris will react! I thought Leonora was prettier as Juliet, but maybe she's going for a more modern image.

I think in reality, the temporary insanity defense never works, and I agree that even if the gun had blanks, Roberto should be guilty of assault, or something, but this isn't reality. Also, if you commit a crime under the influence of drugs, that's not an excuse, but oh well.

Did someone say Paloma's date was with Ernesto? I missed that, but of course it has to be with one of the cast, why not?

I wish we could find someone else for Serena, since it doesn't look as if she and Juanjo are a permanent thing.

I found it funny when Susana asked Rob "Did you find what you wanted?" And he held up that little cup with the family picture. In fact, Roberto is the funniest guy on the show (in a sick, evil, twisted way, if that's possible). I especially like it when things go wrong for him.

Spanish Student, I really doubt that things are coming to an end this Friday. After tonight's episode, there are only two more this week, and I can't believe they'll tie everything up in just two episodes. Especially since in tonight's episode, Aurora tells Serena her period is five days late. Serena, unasked, goes to the pharmacy and buys Aurora a pregnancy test. Sure enough, it comes out positive. Aurora, still hopeful that the test is wrong, goes for a medical exam. I think they do an ultrasound and yup, she's pregnant. "Do you want to see?" the doctor/nurse/whoever administering the test asks. "No," Aurora grimly replies. This surely can't be resolved in two more days.

Leo's situation is also getting more complicated, also suggesting that the novela will need more than two more days. We see him first with Alexis in a shoe store. Alexis is admiring a pair of high-heeled shoes. Leo holds up one of the shoes, and two of Sofi's "friends" see him and tease him. It turns out Sofi is even more stupid than I thought. She showed the photos she took to some of her friends (possibly via social media?), and now they're sending her mocking messages about Leo. And then several guys beat Leo up. When he comes home, he runs into Rafa and Paloma, who ask him what happened. Fed up hiding, Leo tells them. Rafa thinks he's kidding. Leo goes ballistic. He tells them to leave. Rafa can't accept what Leo has said and says he must have been kidding. Paloma tells him Leo was serious. She doesn't know what to do, but she wants time to think about it.

Speaking of Paloma, apparently she has a new admirer. Flowers arrive for her at the office. She's not there, so Paco accepts them for her. He then looks at the card that came with them. "Thanks for an unforgettable night. Would you go running with me? Your admirer, Ernesto." Paco is clearly not pleased, but he manages to put the card back with the flowers just as Paloma is arriving at the office. He claims he has no idea who they're from, and he leaves. She reads the card and smiles. (She had said earlier in the episode that Ernesto was too much a policeman for her, but it looks as if she may change her mind.)

Aurora finds out in this episode that it was Anita who told Roberto she was working with Juanjo and Serena. In spite of knowing this, when she comes back from the medical exam, she tells Serena (with Anita within earshot) "It's confirmed." We don't see Anita responding to this, nor acting on it, but I doubt the writers put Anita in the room for no reason. (If there's a gun on the wall in Act 1, it has to go off before the end of the play. If there's an Anita within earshot, she has to snitch to Roberto within the next episode or so.)

One more thing. Near the end of the episode, Juanjo finds the positive pregnancy test in the place where Serena and he are living. He asks Serena what this means. Oops, end of episode.

it's night and Aurora is super nervous/scared, Paloma asks if she should call Ernesto to come over, he's off tonight, nope.

(the next morning Paloma's period starts, is this too much information)

Rob gets a motel room (we later find out it's the same place Dolores is staying) I think he has the room fumigated, Sara flutters around, fixes him dinner, wants to know why he didn't want to stay at HER beach house, Rob says it's too far from work (like he still has a job) she has to leave to take care of her mother (does she kiss him on the lips).

Leo is out with Alexis, talking hormone injections and high heels, when spotted by a couple of Sofi's friends who tease him.

ah, Sofi did post some pics on the web, and her friends are creating memes (this is a new word for me, a too simple def would be a put together a picture with captions) and the memes are going everywhere, Leo is getting them too.

Cris has given Leo all the work Roberto was doing, this is a complete overwhelm, but he does get the passwords from Rob, also it seems Rob had a lot of important meetings scheduled that they have been missing, Cris also hands these over to Leo, but this is too much, he refuses to do it.

later when Leo goes to his jeep, looks like some pink panties on the antennae, and 4 or more guys beat the crap out of him, he goes over to Sofi's and passes the guilt ball to her, he trusted her, he never wants to see her again, with a little, "Sofi how could you do this to Leo" added in by her mother, Doris, Sofi is in tears.

Aurora gets the locks changed and sees an ambulance has come to take Sara's mother to the hospital, she offers any help, Sara blows her off.

Luis does come up with a good wine, all are pleased.

Aurora makes it to work finally, Sere tips Aurora on Anita being sensitive, why? Sere puts it out, who do you think tipped Roberto that you were working here, and where is Anita, she's talking on the phone to Roberto who wants to know if Aurora is still working there, Anita doesn't tell, shes walking on thin ice and is not going to make anymore trouble.

and when Anita does show, she is all bubbly, red lipped, and helpful, but is pretty much ignored, later she asks Aurora if there is a problem between them, you need to ask, you almost got me, Sere and Juanjo killed.

Cris visits Rob, he wants him to go to the meetings, but he makes it clear, it's work, you are no longer part of my family (well that's ok then).

Sere notices Aurora is going to the bathroom a lot, Aurora confesses her period is late, Sere gets her a test, it's positive, (and we get to see the scenes where Rob is raping her), she goes to the doctors and gets it confirmed, (they had her drink a lot of water so her uterus would show up good in the ultrasound), Sere promises not to tell Juanjo.

Leo is back in his room, Rafa and Paloma also have seen the memes, and want to know whats up, Leo tells them flat out, it's not a joke, I am a woman, and throws them out of his room, hmm, Paloma has to think about this, tells Rafa not to say anything or she will cut his ... off.

Paloma gets flowers at work, Paco reads the card (short version) "thanks for an unforgettable night, Ernesto" then Paloma arrives, reads the card, smiles (I think mostly because of the way Paco is acting)

Rob is at the office when his lawyer shows, he has a private meeting with Cris, Rob's not invited, Rob looks worried (I think in part because he isn't the center of attention) and as the lawyer is on his way out they chat, seems the judge has granted Roberto visitation rights with Emilito.

Juanjo has carbonated the small wine and they taste the samples, hmm, nothing special, stressed out Aurora arrives from the doctors, rips on Juanjo, the 'must' won't be ready for a couple of days, she left a memo to wait, Juanjo doesn't like how she is treating him.

Juanita and deb, thanks for your recaps. I havenothing to add, only comments.

After all of Meche's complaining and the division of authority (Cris says the winery is his territory and Meche responds that the house is hers and that Rob's no longer invited), Cris goes and asks Rob to come back to the office to help out. I'm gonna blame the writers for this...for one reason or another he's never around when Rob's lying, deceiving side is out and causing problems. For whatever reason, Cris is just not getting it.

Juanjo and Serena were clashing too...Aurora's presence and domestic problems are affecting their pseudo-relationship.

Paco and Natalia appear to be okay on the surface. Is it really over with him and Paloma?

Poor Leo...time for him (and Aurora) to learn how to fight. His troubles are just beginning. I'm not sure if his family is ready for this now.

Will Dimas make it till the end? He was clearly struggling to breathe. Shame there's no evidence to tie Rob to his accident. Of course Cris would never forgive Rob if he knew he was behind Dimas' accident.

We may get to see Sara's "scorned woman" side again if Rob keeps leading her on.
