Caray, Caray!

Antonio and Godoy are concerned that they've now confirmed a third car was present that night and went through the gate.  It was registered to Raquel Cohen.  Godoy knows he's got to get to the bottom of this as anybody could have been behind the wheel.

Azucena has paid a visit to Damian and tells him the police want answers since the pistol has his prints on it and it appears that he shot Carolina.  Azu tells him to recover his memory ASAP cuz he's got lots of 'splainin' to do for the police.  Well, Raq may have second thoughts about that....



Dam's worst fears are are realized: Raquel, both families' kids, the police--Hell, the whole effing world--knows about his relationship with Carolina and the fact he had a child with her.  Dam, though, is at a lost about this last little tidbit.  Either way, no matter: he only wants his family back and fast!

Back at Santiago's, he and Raq are finishing a rack roll and he asks her to move in with him there.  She's of a mind to do so.  She must think about it over a PB&J or some such.  While she's enjoying her sandwich, Santi gets a call from Tonio with the bad news about the third car and it belonging to his new squeeze.

Some few weeks before the accident: Santi has Augustin come over to tell him the details of the loud discussion/argument between Dam and Caro.  Augustin balks and hems and haws.  Santi says he's hiring a private investigator.  We later see him hand her picture and a packet of pesos over to the mystery man with the caped coat who entered the construction site later on.  

At los Becker's breakfast table. Dam makes the excuse he's got extra work at Legato to catch up on; Raq tries to get Mia to spend the day with her doing mother-daughter stuff, but Mia refuses.  She doesn't want them "keeping an eye on the crazy girl in the family!!"  She's staying home with Federico.

At los Alvaro, Caro says she's going to the doctor on a Sunday.  Viewerville cannot believe a doctor has office hours in Mexico on a Sunday, and neither does Lola.  However, she lets it slide.  Caro gets a prescription for a vaginal infection.  Then, while at the catering offices, she notes that Raq receives a prescription of her own for the same vaginal infection.  

When Caro gets to her rendezvous with Dam at the office she rejects him outright and yells at him for asking her to stop bedding Santi when he doesn't stop bedding his own wife.  Guess who's got the same vaginal infection as she, lover--his wife!!  So, it is finally QUITS ONCE AND FOR ALL TIME.  Caro only hopes that it's not too late for her and Santi to patch things up!!

Miriam pays a visit to Damian's sick room and chastises him for letting the company go to hell in a hand-basket while he was chasing skirts.  No wonder the place is bankrupt and all because Andres was let loose to cause havoc there.  She warns him to get his head on straight and get the company running right again somehow since it's all that he's got left.  He certainly has no family and friends at this point.  In fact, Raq and Santi have become a hot item during his "absence".  Mimi hisses at him that Raquel's out for vengeance and is sleeping with him to get it; and in fact, Raquel also went after Dam, trying to kill him that night of the accident!  He scowls and tells Mimi to vacate the premises.

As for Raq, when she hears this she's totally flummoxed.  How?  What?  It couldn't have been me...do you think?  I don't remember going out that night.  Well, Jovita claims that she saw her leave the house.  Oh noes!!!--Santi tells her to comb her memory for what really happened because Andres has already alibied her by declaring the two of them were "together" all that night.  Raq denies anything to do with Andres!  Santi says well then do it because Andy could be lying to wriggle out of a jam and jail.

Laura still needs a confidential exclusive from the police.  She is there to guilt him into giving him something again or else, as she finally admits, her career is all she's got left and they are getting ready to fire her from the program.

Mimi accosts Azu at the office and accuses her of covering up for Raquel--or whoever might have driven her car that night: Feddy or....even MIA?????  "--Not a word of this, Azucena!!"

At the construction site, Augustin and Nacho kick around that the guy in the coat from the other day--Saldiva--turns out to be a P.I.  That means then, they realize, that Santi obviously knew ahead of the accident that Caro was cheating on him with Dam!!!  Oh noes!!!  Say it ain't sooooo!!

At the manse, Mia learns from Feddy that Caro is their daddy's lover.  However, he forbids her to say or do anything about this.  No!  He will handle it!  (Did she listen to her brother?  Inquiring minds want to know.)

Caro apologizes to Santi and tries for a reconciliation. On the other side of town, Dam and Raq tell the kids they're taking a vacation for two to Paris--a second honeymoon of sorts.  Feddy is happy with his papi.

One night of passion and 3 weeks before the accident, Caro's vomiting and taking a home pregnancy test again.  

Godoy comes looking for Raq but finds Cinthia instead.  They kiss and he tells her about there being a third car that night and it being Raquel's.  The question is: just who was driving it?????

Lola tells Bevo and Nicolas that she found an envelope of pictures of Dam and their mom stepping out on Daddy.  So, that means that yes, he knew their mom was cheating on him weeks before the accident!!!

Azucena, meanwhile, is kidnapped by Andy's goons.  He calls on one of the guys' cellphones and tells her she's being punished for betraying him to Damian.  She denies it all.

Feddy, meanwhile, has discovered something at the office and Andy comes in on him and surprises him. "--Ok.  So now you know! What are you going to do to fix this, huh?  Speak up!!"

Across town, there's a knock at Santi's door.  It is Damian in a wheelchair demanding to speak to his wife.  Santi tells him to get out.  She's there but doesn't want anything more to do with him.  They love each other.   Raq chose him instead because he doesn't cheat on her, doesn't lie to her, doesn't hurt her... Dam insists he wants to hear it from her.  Raquel enters the room and stares at Damian.  She looks over at Santi who shrugs in frustration.  She looks back at Dam and steels herself...............
