Papa a Toda Madre #30: Beware of a Beautiful Blond Offering Free Sports Cars...

Or When the Dog's Away the Cats Will Fight...

Fabian tells Kika that Mauricio and Renee kissed but she doesn’t believe him and begins to hit him. He demands to calm down but Kika keeps screaming that he is lying.

Once the children have finished eating, Tono tries to pick up the table and instructs them to get ready for swimming and ballet. They don’t want to go but he demands they obey him and go get ready. Tono then goes to the kitchen and begins to wash the dishes, much to his annoyance.

Over lunch, Anifer tells Renee and Mauricio that she likes her new school much better than the religious one, though not better than the one in her small town, but she’s happy Ernesto is in her same class. Mauricio smiles and reminds Anifer that she must study a lot as she needs a career to support herself. Anifer asks Mauricio if he didn’t inherit his company and Renee laughs. Mauricio tells Anifer that, while true, she still must work because he inherited some things but lost them all as well. Renee nods and reiterates that he lost those things himself and Mauricio looks at Anifer and tells her to work heard, despite what she may inherit, and Anifer asks if they will be making more toys together. Mauricio nods and tells her that, no matter what happens, he wants the world to know she helped design toys for Logatoys. Anifer jumps up and smiles wide as doe Renee and Mauricio. However, when they see make contact, they frown immediately as Anifer continues to smile.

After Flor has put Milady to put, Pablo tells her that she went to Jorge’s, but a girl, his daughter Valentina he assumes, told him to come back when Jorge was home. Just then, they hear music engulfing the whole neighborhood and open the door. Flor shouts for them to keep the music down but Milady is already crying, awake. She goes to attend the little girl while chiding whoever is playing the music.

As Tono waits around for his kids to finish their activities, he talks to Veronica to see how she is. She states that she will have to stay late but Tono reminds her that he had to stay light many nights in Logatoys because that’s what breadwinners do. She states that raising the kids was no picnic either and he has even begun to feel the brunt of doing so. Veronica gets angry and decides to hang up, because Tono is complaining about nothing, and he decides to do the same because his life as the breadwinner was harder.

Valentina drags Samuel into the kitchen to tell him that they should party, as Baldo and Lili will get into trouble and they should have fun, but Samuel prefers to go and leaves to his room. Lili walks into the kitchen then and Valentina begs her for her cellphone as she wants to call some old friends and invite them over. Lili considers this as Baldo opens the front door for Flor, who demands to see Valentina as Jorge is not there. Baldo asks her to come in and talk to Valentina but Flor prefers to leave and chides him for the loud music as she walks away.

In his office, a disheveled Jorge looks in on his kids with his secret camera and finds that they are in the middle of a party. He is floored at what he sees.

As Rafael and Rodrigo arrive at the cul-de-sac, Flor flags them down and asks them to go talk to the kids because she can’t take the noise anymore. Rafael is shocked that it’s at Jorge’s house and Flor states that it’s because Jorge isn’t there. She asks Rodrigo to go do something, if the party continues, because she has a baby. Rodrigo agrees and Flor leaves. Rodrigo then gets back in the car and explains to Rafael that it’s still early and the kids should have some fun before he breaks the party up. Rafael argues that they are likely destroying the house, and waking up the baby, but Rodrigo wants to see Jorge’s face when he arrives. Rafael thinks it’s a bad idea, but Rodrigo laughs and tells him that he will be mindful but won’t break anything up, for now.

Renee and Anifer hear the noise and go to see what the commotion is by the window. Renee wonders if she should break it up but Mauricio thinks it’s no big deal as he had bigger ragers in high school. He then notices that it’s coming from Jorge’s house and tells Renee and Anifer to come with him to check out what is happening.

They walk outside as Tono and his kids walk outside as well and wonder what is happening. Tono and Mauricio agree with Renee that they should break up and Mauricio gives Anifer to Tono as he and Renee go to Jorge’s. Just then, Kika arrives and sees Mauricio enter the house with Renee and curses “the maid.”

Inside Jorge’s, Renee tries to find Valentina and Samuel as Mauricio dances with Baldo and Lili. Renee tells him to be serious and asks him to call Jorge because she’s sure he doesn’t know and didn’t authorize the party. Mauricio prefers they handle the situation himself, but Renee reminds him that Anifer may do this when she’s older and he would like a heads up. Mauricio goes to call Jorge as Kika storms in and demands Renee stay away from her man. Renee is fuming.

A few feet away, Mauricio dials Jorge’s number but the partygoers hit him by mistake and his phone flies under a table. He chides them for not being careful and crawls under the table.

Tono is still trying to clean the dishes but can’t concentrate as the music is pumping. He goes out to the living and tells him children, who are by the window, to do their homework but they argue that the music is too loud. He nods and asks them to play quietly then and, offhandedly, tells Ernesto that he should change his hairstyle because it looks weird. As he walks away, Anifer smiles devilishly.

Kika tells Renee that the lies about her supposed revenge won’t work. Renee argues that she heard her and it’s the truth. Kika screams that Mauricio is hers and nothing she does to take him from her will work. Renee thinks otherwise but doesn’t care enough to continue talking to her. As Renee tries to walk away, Kika grabs her and screams: “no maid is going to leave me talking by myself!” She slaps Renee, and, after a moment, Renee slaps her back. Everyone in the party begins to scream and cheer as Renee grabs Kika by the hair and a catfight ensues.

Renee and Kika wrestle around the house before finally falling on the kitchen table a few feet from Mauricio. Mauricio is shocked to see them fighting but begins to cheer and yell like a sports announcer.

Just then, Jorge arrives and hears the screams as he runs into his house. He screams for everyone to be quiet and turns off the music as Kika and Renee get off each other. Jorge demands to know what the hell is happening in his house.

Tono, three hours later, has finally finished washing all the dishes. Just then, Fidel walks in and tells him that he wants a sandwich, even though everything is finally clean, and Tono cries at the thought of dirtying something else.

In Tania’s room, Anifer and Tania look for various colors to put into Ernesto’s hair. Anifer worries that they will get in trouble, but Tania assures him that it’s just like when their mother dies her hair and washes the color out if she doesn’t like it. The girls nod and smile, but Ernesto is unsure.

Jorge can’t believe that two educated and respectable women like Kika and Renee would be fighting like common prostitutes but Kika screams that it’s Renee’s fault and Renee screams that it was Kika’s. They try to go at it again, but Jorge separates them and sees Mauricio before asking what he is doing there. Mauricio states that he was picking up his phone when he saw the fight and Jorge instructs him to take his girlfriend, Kika, and Renee away. The women try to go at it again and Jorge separates them again. He tells Renee to calm down and tells Kika, that even though she is his boss’s girlfriend and a future investor at Logatoys, he doesn’t like her and wants her out of his house, immediately. Mauricio takes Kika away as Renee walks away as well. On the way out, Kika tells the children to not take photos or else. After a moment, Jorge asks all the kids whose last name isn’t Turrubiates need to vacate the premises, immediately! And to leave the beer! They all do and then Jorge turns his attention to his four children, who stare at him with their arms crossed.

At his night guard job, Neron takes a tour of his company he will be guarding with the old night guard, who is now part of the day guard and will do his job on his day off. Neron nods and then asks how he spends time with his family and keeps his job and the man reveals that he has no family because he works all night and sleeps all night. He then tells Neron to follow him but Neron now looks worried.

At Mauricio’s, Renee and Kika are on the verge of catfighting again when Mauricio holds them back. He asks them to be calm, as they are upstanding women, and wonders why the fight started in the first place. Kika explains that Renee is spreading rumors about her supposed revenge, but Renee screams that it is the truth. Kika tells Mauricio that she already explained her past with him, but Mauricio now looks unsure and Renee states that he doesn’t trust Kika either. Kika thinks he’s spending too much time in the slums, look how low she fell so spending as much time as she did, but Mauricio just wants an explanation about her intentions with Logatoys and when him. Kika offers to explain when their alone but Renee screams that she’s a liar and they almost get into it again before Mauricio holds them back.

Tono is doing a sandwich for Fidel when Anifer comes and asks to go home as Mauricio might but back. Tono lets her go as he calls to Fidel to come eat his sandwich. He then sees Ernesto’s hair, which now slightly spiked and three different colors, and asks what happened. Tania explains that her brother needed a change and she helped. Tono wonders if his children are trying to kill him.

As Kika walks out of the cul-de-sac, all the kids from the party are filming her exit. She warns them that, should they post anything online, she will sue them, and all the kids put their phones down. As Kika leaves, Jorge comes out of his house, shocked that they are all still there. He demands the kids leave as everyone in the neighborhood look on. As he’s going back inside, Flor asks Jorge what happened and if the police came. Jorge states that Rodrigo or the police did not stop by and Flor nods. A few feet away, Renee apologizes for the catfight she was involved in as Tono runs to them and states that Veronica is going to kill him. Jorge walks over to Tono as Valentina and Lili walk outside and Flor introduces the real Valentina to Pablo. Pablo and Lili smile at each other as she announces that she is also Jorge’s daughter. Everyone is shocked to hear this and Baldo walks outside then and states he is also Jorge’s son. Jorge is floored that the truth is out as Baldo demands Jorge tell everyone the truth. Rodrigo, having heard everything from afar, approaches them and states the irony of the situation: Jorge judges others when he has plenty of mistakes under his belt. Jorge demands to know why he isn’t minding his own business, especially after he didn’t break up the party, but Rodrigo can only laugh.

In his room, Samuel asks his online cohorts if he must do what they ask, and they state he must because it will show them how brave he is. Samuel considers this.

Rodrigo demands Jorge admit to calling animal control and Jorge finally nods and states those animals are dangerous. Rodrigo can’t believe he could be so cruel, especially because he did it only to spite him and Rafael, as Renee tries to defuse the situation. Flor suggests they welcome Jorge’s other children to the neighborhood and introduces herself and her brother, Pablo. Renee introduces herself and Lili and Baldo assume she’s Mauricio’s girlfriend. Renee shakes her head as Jorge states that the commotion is over, and everyone should go home. Flor stops him for a second and asks him if he’s okay with Pablo working on the maintenance of the neighborhood and can chip on to pay him. Jorge agrees and then apologizes for his screaming inside his house. Everyone nods slightly, and Jorge wishes them a good night before leaving. Rodrigo then apologizes to Flor for not breaking up the party, but she tells him not to worry and goes with Pablo. Renee asks Rodrigo not to worry and they kiss each other goodbye as Tono confesses to Mauricio that Anifer helped dye his son’s hair and he’s a dead man. Mauricio and Renee look at the child and cringe.

In his house, Jorge sits down all his children and asks them what happened. Samuel and Valentina state that Baldo and Lili planned the party and stole their cell phones, so they couldn’t tell him. Lili states that they could’ve told him some other way, but Jorge asks them all to be quiet as he must think of a punishment they will never forget, especially Lili and Baldo, because they are a bad influence. Baldo suggests Jorge send him back to Tijuana but Jorge thinks that will be a reward. He then states that he will go think of a punishment soon but, in the meantime, he wants them to clean everything up and leave the house spotless. All the children begin cleaning but Baldo and Lili smile because their plan to ruin Jorge’s day worked.

Renee and Mauricio doubts Anifer helped dye Ernesto’s hair but Tono thinks she’s the mastermind. Just then, Tania reveals that she dyed her brother’s hair and Anifer always thought it was a bad idea. Mauricio asks her to repeat what she said, and Tania does. Renee thinks all Ernesto needs is a good shower and all should be fine and Tono nods before apologizing to Anifer. Tono then asks Mauricio to stop calling his children demons and Mauricio promises before they shake hands.

The next morning, Tono prepares the best coffee for Veronica and she thanks him. He then asks if she noticed the kitchen, but she admits that she was too tired to notice. He tires to chide her for arriving so late, but Veronica reminds him that she told him early in the day about arriving late. He then goes to show her his surprise, the spotless pot, but Veronica reveals that he took off all the Teflon and now the food will stick. Tono is shocked and Veronica reveals that the pot was very expensive. Tono apologizes for his mistake and Veronica tells him that they will buy a new pot. They kiss as Tono calls the kids down for school. Ernesto is wearing a hot with bunny ears and Veronica asks him to remove it. Tono thinks it looks fine and tells Veronica that the teacher said they could go dressed however. Veronica is not sure if she should buy this story or not as Tono and the kids maintain that she should.

Jorge walks out of his house and his kids pile into the car, single file, in silence. Jorge then sees Pablo working on the gazebo and tells him that he will have two helpers this weekend, Lili and Baldo. They ask him why and Jorge screams for them to be quiet and obey. As they leave, Jorge smiles at Lili.

After breakfast, Renee tells Mauricio that he has to take Anifer to school as she must go to the foundation. Mauricio frowns and Renee kisses Anifer goodbye before leaving. Once Renee has left, Anifer asks Mauricio if he and Renee fought. Mauricio reveals that they had a disagreement and Anifer asks if he likes Renee like the couples in romantic movies. Mauricio shakes his head, as Kika is his girlfriend, and Anifer wonders if he likes Kika and will marry her. Mauricio is also unsure of this and Anifer concludes that she must not love her. Anifer thinks he must like Renee more but Mauricio argues that, because they live together, sometimes lines get blurred, but there is nothing between them. He then goes to clean up and Anifer asks, if he must choose, would he choose Renee or Kika? Mauricio is silent and unsure of how to answer.

Times passes, and Mauricio seems to be getting the hand of being a father, even as Renee becomes a slop by only wearing sweatpants and eating like an animal. He still can’t get the hand of combing Anifer’s hair, so Renee helps, even as her own hair is a mess…

Kika does a PowerPoint presentation at Logatoys and it seems to be a success. She sends Mauricio flirty texts during the meeting and they make googly eyes at each other. Fabian can’t contain his fury at his “brother’s” PDA with Kika but Falcon and the board seem to be impressed by what she has to say…

Anifer and Renee continue to get along more each day and sing and dance in her room…

Days later, Kika comes by the cul-de-sac to show Mauricio his new sports car. She tells him that the owner of Logatoys deserves a beautiful car and throws him the keys before smiling. Mauricio is happy but shocked beyond belief.

Neron arrives home, yawning, and Flor tells him that he looks terrible, with bags up to his knees. Neron states that the night guard job is only for a little while he gets the shop opened again and sits down with Flor on the couch. Flor explains that she and Milady barely slept last night and Neron gives her a hug but falls asleep mid-rock as Flor asks him what he wants for breakfast. After a moment, Flor realizes he is knocked out, but she can’t move because of how he’s holding her. She finally frees herself and smiles at the sight of Neron snoring soundly. Still very much in love but also sad.

Mauricio can’t believe Kika would give him such a car, and he loves it, but he can’t accept. Kika insists he take the car, as she has plenty of money, but Kika gets closer and begs him to accept the car. He doesn’t want to insult her, but the car is too much, too soon. Kika hugs him tight and tells him to accept as it’s a gift for him, just for him. Pablo is sweeping nearby, hearing everything but saying now. Just then, Renee and Anifer come out of the house and ask Mauricio who is the owner of the beautiful car. Mauricio is unsure of what to say but Kika has a big smile plastered on her face...

Thank you, Alfredo. Great recap and great choice of screen caps.

Ha! I laughed at Toño saying that Jorge had a “Prince Valiant” hairstyle.

Wow! Toño was quick to blame Anifer for influencing his kids to paint Jorge’s hair. He is more of a jerk with every episode.

The cat fight was a trip.

I loved the scene with Anifer and Renée jumping around and dancing.

So what will a new sports car get Kika in return?

Alfredo, thank you so much for this great recap. So much fun in this episode!

I know I should deplore any "violence" whatsoever, but a good catfight, well, that's different. And a lot of fun, at least in this case.

Pablo better watch himself with Lili. Lots of potential for trouble there.

Kika must really be concerned about competition from Renee. It looks like she is now trying to buy him and get him back into the high income lifestyle and dump Renee. Will it work? :-)

And Jorge admitted to reporting Rafael's animals. Oh well, I get to keep my perfect score of 0% for predictions. I thought Jorge was just too obvious.

Wooo Man Alfredo, what an episode to cover, and you handled it like ESPN Smackdown Night. Thanks.

The lengths these chicks will go for a good looking man. And he is worthless. Imagine if he could actually DO something, like fix things, or think or something. Yeppers, Andy, there is just something hypnotic about a good catfight. It will get every woofer tail wagging. Even the high school kids were gathering around in a lucha libre mood. Next time one or both need some outlandish over the head mask. Yowzers !

When Jorge first checked his spy camera, I swear, he looked like he thought there was some malfunction with his glasses. He was almost funny.

And Vero is still kissing Tono? Mystery of the universe. I had hopeod for her to find out about the dog, but I give up. Tono is one of those I prefer to know nothing about nor his wife, unless she takes a second job as a stripper.

I have no idea what was with the Renee the unappealing slob time warp. She sure aint afraid of the Amazon, though.

I was surprised the kids hauled in powerful enough sound equipment to cause the commotion they did. Brainless as he is, Mauricio is funny. He walks in and it is like "Hey, great party.!"

Enjoyed the recaps Alfredo and the screen caps were amazing. Super job! I'm always shocked by the amount of slapping that goes on in these telenovelas and always wonder if there is that level of aggression in Latino families.

Anyway, sounds like it was a wild episode and I'll look forward to watching it later today.

As always, many thanks AAA.

Rgv Chick...Sounds like you had a tough day yesterday. Hope today goes better!

Alfredo, another most excellent installment.

“Jorge looks in on his kids with his secret camera and finds that they are in the middle of a party. He is floored at what he sees”. Deep sigh. I’d say it may have been loud but the kids were having fun and not hurting themselves or anyone else. He should be very grateful. Jorge is not in a position to punish anyone.

My favorites scenes were Mauricio proclaiming "cat fight" and his expressions of near disgust as Renee slurped her cereal and yawned in the her pajamas that Kika likely would not be caught dead wearing. And like you Jarifa, Renee and Anifer dancing, being young and happy.

Andy, yes, Pablo is playing with fire. He needs to steer clear of Lili.

Kirby, Tono is making me reallly cringe now and really, Vero should kick him to the curb.

Great comments, soaring majestic bird. What a great way to start the day.

Thank you Alfredo!

Diana

thank you, Alfredo, for another amazing recap.

Andy, like you , my predictions are almost always wrong.

TOno...comic relief???? The banana shirt ???

It looks like more role reversals with the woman trying to seduce the guy with a gift.Kika seems to be trying to win Maury by buying him and bringing him back to bring the party guy he used to be.

That scene of Renee in the old bathrobe with messy hair !! I suppose that was supposed to show us that Maury will love for more than her beauty...maybe???

Ahhh, how much clearer 'thinking' is over a cup of fresh coffee.

I am just really surprised little ole pipsqueak ReKnee was willing to take on the Amazon over a man who 'She definitely does not even like and actually can't stand". IN A NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE IN FRONT OF HIS KIDS. !
Wow Renee, Loopy would be proud. The paramedics wouldn't expend that much effort for him.

I guess that is part of women's irresistible appeal to us, we just can't quite figger 'em out.

This is a fun fun fun show which goes nicely with our fun fun fun patio, but Toro is 'harshing my mellow' to borrow a phrase from Susy.

He is intellectually and morally bankrupt. Even his kids are better than him, as evidenced by his trying to lay the hair blame on Ani and his daughter told the truth.

Now that we have broken the ice with a nice meow mix, I'd luuuurve to see Rodrigo sucker punch Tono and make him cry like a little girl.

If he killed the family dog and the family rat are his kids safe? Apparently not, though not through malevolence, as he did leave the little one alone at the POOL.

When Vero kissed him I wanted to reach into the TV, jerk her out of there, pull that wig off that sexy blonde hair, and tell her I should be........Whoa, ...Um...never mind. Hate it that she doesn't kick him out. But she does need someone to watch the kids after school.

I had been trying for a while to see what his banana shirt said It says Andy Warhol. How odd in a TN.
Where'd he get that? Does Mexico have Goodwills?

Thanks for mentioning that Andy Warhol Banana shirt Susanlynn and Kirby.

I was going to say something but I hesitated, thinking I'd make (yet) another fashion misstep statement. Well, Warhol was famous for the soup can, right?? So, I figured...

Susanlynn, Tono hilarious? Nopis. Pathetic? Yup.

And yes, I hope to heavens not another living creature is brought into Tono's house. He's stretched to the limits trying to take care of his children. Hiding the kid's hair under the bunny ears. Huge sigh.

Diana

Kirby...still have not had my coffee. Thanks for the shirt translation! I saw the banana picture and thought that the word underneath was "warning."

Diana, yes, Andy Warhol was famous for his Campbell soup cans and colorful portraits of famous people like Marilyn Monroe. Tres avant gard at the time! Not my taste. I prefer the Impressionists..Renoir, Monet, Cezanne, Degas, etc

I am getting weary of Tonto ,and Vero must be too busy and stressed out to jetison him out. As you said, kirby, he is child care, but he is not reliable childcare.

As for JOrge, nobody likes to be lectured to, but he continues to do it to everyone. Meanwhile, Hot Rodrigo has had enough of Jorge's pomposity.

Alfredo: I went ROFLOL on the title of the recap. So funny.

Kirby: Mauricio just sat there & didn't stop Renee & Kika from fighting.

Steve: And your point is......

What would YOU do? Jump in and get your eyes clawed out when they BOTH turned on you?

It is hard to beat a leggy blonde in a short skirt in a knock down drag out catfight.

I'm just surprised neither of the girls got laid after that performance. Jeezo that was sexy. Woofn' n' waggin'.

Kirby: Renee has more Swagger.

Have you've been able to watch Majorie de Sousa's new TN on Telemundo "OTRO LADO DEL MURO" ?

It's really good.

Noooo. I didnt even know about it. Thanks

Woohoo could you see Marjorie and Kika and a nice cat fight

Thanks Alfredo!!

How Kika's boobs stayed in that dress during the fight is amazing. She must have them taped in.

Tono blaming Ani didn't bother me. Parents never think it is their kids that are doing naughty. And Ani did have a hand in it.

Pablo looks enough like Flor for me to believe he is her brother. Glad he is getting some extra money.

Thank you, Alfredo.

Lili and Baldo are very effective at making their presence known. First at school and now in the neighborhood. Looking back it is laughable how Jorge thought he could keep them hidden.

The way the twins laughed seeing Jorge having a fit shows they have little respect for him. Deserved and understandable. Assigning them some kind of punishment could be counterproductive. What if they just laugh at him? It is possible that with time, Jorge always being there for them and supporting them when needed, the relationship can improve. But I think he needs to work on the relationship right now. Maybe take them out for a meal. Do one of those team-building exercises that companies sometimes do. Something.

Good Morning, Everyone!

DITTO to everything said about the catfight! Kirby, "I am just really surprised little ole pipsqueak ReKnee was willing to take on the Amazon over a man who 'She definitely does not even like and actually can't stand". IN A NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE IN FRONT OF HIS KIDS!" That was really surprising to me too. I was anticipating the brawl, but definitely not in that setting. I may have expected it from Kika, but not fro Renee-gade; I thought she had more sense than that. Carvivlie, it WAS amazing how Kika kept it all in.

That scene where Renee was in the robe with her hair all messy...when I first saw it, I thought Mau was having some sort of nightmarish premonition. Renee wears some odd clothes, but it was hard to believe that she would be that sloppy...oh well, I guess the writers wanted to make a point.

Tono isn't even worth talking about anymore, he is worthless and I am starting to get annoyed at Veronica for putting up with him.

Jorge's punishment is having the twins help out Pablo?? BIG mistake! He'll have more of a mess to clean up!

Did anyone notice Rodrigo's shoulder/upper arm padding...that was odd! Raul Coronado has a pretty nice body, he shouldn't need any "enhancements" (IMO)

So class , what have we learned so far from all these messages???

1. Don't be judgemental.

2. It is hard to have a job outside the hone, and equally hard to take care of a house and children.

3. Do not make fun and ridicule others. They could come back into your lives years later ..hot and rich.

4. If you are ridiculed, do not become bitter and vindictive.

5. When you inherit a business, take care of business instead of becoming a party animal.

6.Choose your battles carefully.

7. Be a good neighbor.

"How Kika's boobs stayed in that dress during the fight is amazing"
Carvivlie Hobby Lobby has this special adhesive for fabric on plastic.................

Renee-gade Perfect

"Rodrigo's shoulder/upper arm padding...that was odd" I thought something was off, but chalked it up to the semi-military look of Law Enforcement garb. I didn't look long, I ddin't want Raf to think I was hitting on him. :-)

Yes, Veronica is pissing me off just putting up with him. She did lower the boom on him a little two nights back, but it is as effective as Jorge screaming at B&L.

Twins

Carvivlie, "How Kika's boobs stayed in that dress during the fight is amazing." And a real shame.

Um, I mean by that is that it might have answered a question which has been raised here.

And I would have to score in favor of Kika. She rang the bell herself and came out swinging, and did OK against a real spitfire, all while wearing a low-cut dress and heels. I gotta hand it to her.
:-)

Regarding the twins' party, it wasn't all fun and games. Those kids were all underage and there was alcohol there. Lili stopped Valentina from drinking it.

It could have gotten worse.

Uh-huh, Andy, we know exactly what you mean LMAO

Kirby, are those the same two eagle chicks? Have you named them yet? That one right before this in your album is intriguing...would that be the mama feeding one of the chicks?

RGV Yesss . I just came back and emptied the cameras. The chicks are nearly as large as the parents. The shot of the adult is him feeding the (maybe smaller) of the two chicks.

The one I usually photograph I just call Junior, because he (I assume) is always up and milling about. The other less active one, I had not seen in a week and was actually a little worried, but it was bellying up to the dinner table today.

OT- Kirby, they've grown so much! It's always a relief to see one that you haven't seen for a while :-)

JudyB, thank you so much for your kind wishes. Unfortunately as the days grow naturally longer, so do mine. I just haven't been able to make my chickens comprehend "Bedtime!" (sigh)

Andy:
"And I would have to score in favor of Kika. She rang the bell herself and came out...."
Yeah, I don't know whose side I'm on.

Oh wait...Ringside

:-)

Anon, ITA about the kids’ partyq. It was not all sweetness and light.

No matter what Jorge does at this point nothing is going to miraculously cure his relationship with Baldo and Lili. That will take years or a life and death crisis he can save them from.

I wonder how much older Pablo is than Lili. He does not look that much older to me. She and Baldo must be 16-17. I would guess Pablo 18ish?

Love your list Susanlynn. One of my favoruites is what I live by daily "pick your battles"...

I must prefer your twins Kirby. So sweet.

RgvChick, it sounds as though your days are long and hectic...Despite your (likely) being tired, your powers of observation haven't diminished a bit. "Rodrigo's shoulder/upper arm padding"? Jeez, didn't notice! Will have to tonight...

I thought Renee was deliberately dribbling her food in front of Mau (?) It was actually very gross.

It's funny that I thought of Marjorie deSouza, thinking she could have done the Kika role...Carvivlie, I was utterly amazed at Kika's backside. Speechless.

Lucio, Jorge has many fences to mend...he better get to it. I was thinking that a party welcoming Lili and Baldo to the neighborhood might be the ice breaker that is needed here. Then perhaps a family dinner as you suggested. Jorge first needs to truly accept his children and second, have them realize it...

Diana

Well, it seems the whole patio was mystified with the time warp of Renee-gade -- Space Alien.

OTOH, she is golden with Anifer. The air guitar and hairbrush microphone were the best.

Diana ...yes, I could definitely see Marjorie as Kika because she can Certainly bring the nasty as well as the sexy.

I think the whole scene of sloppy Renee was stupid , but I guess it was supposed to show us that un!ike plastic Kika ,she is not concerned with appearances.

Listening to Kika growl Maaa-owww is getting on my last nerve.

Kirby..I have never been to Mississippi, but Hubba was in Gulfport for training years when he was in the Navy and has unpleasant memories of poisonous snakes , scorpions, and fire ants !!

Good place to be F R O M.

Not for the weak. But it does have a Gulf Coast, something about 40 other states do not have.

But Flori-Duh has more.

Marjorie actually IS from Venezuela. I fell in Lust with her in Wild Cat long long ago in a place far away.

Susy, I concur about the sloppy scene...RenéGade has never been shown to be sloppy or unkempt...not even when she did that all-nighter finishing up her presentation. I think the writers went a little too far with this one.

BTW, Mississipi sounds like the RGV in terms of "pests" ... and if you add bees and tarantulas...puurfect!

Chickie..yikes. Do those varmints ever go after your chickens?

Hubba said that one guy he knew, jumped into a foxhole , and fireants got into his boots. They had to cut off his boots at the hospital . Hubba was verra happy to get home.

I too thought that scene with sloppy, sloppy Renee was a bit weird, but it came right after Anifer asked Mau about his feelings for Kika and for Renee, and then asks him if it came to that, which one would he choose? He stops, confused, because he's a bit conflicted about Renee, she's not the usual bimbo sort that he knows so well. The rest I took to be a dream sequence of some sort. No?

Yeah, it was always hard to get it across to Ya....um...people from Up North that there is stuff here that will mess you UP.

Yeah those Africanized bees, like hornets with Bipolar Disorder.

Kirby..I used to give a short lecture about those killer bees for my students to practice taking notes. It was something about a scientist who wanted to do research and was trying to cross some kind of Brazilian bees with some other bees. They escaped the lab and...killer bees. Yikes.

Andy, that's exactly what I thought it was too! ...a dream sequence, but immediately after that, it was suddenly "days later" so that threw me off. Plus the scene where Ani and RenéGade are jumping and dancing around (which reminded me of the Stepmom scene) seemed more plausible.

Susy, yes, snakes eat the eggs and chicks. I've killed two of those with a shovel. Hawks, opossoms, skunks and coyotes also get them. Ants can swarm a hatching egg and kill the chicks too :-(

CHickie...yikes, I get so much new information here on the patio !!

I hope unkempt Renee was a bad dream that Maury had !

Take all those cozy things, add twelve foot long Boa Constrictors, Iguanas and pet eating Alligators, ----->Viola ---FloriDuh.

The news stations luuuurve these stories where Aunt Martha's Fifi goes missing, and a neighbor's Boa coincidentally has a football sized lump midsection.

Maybe that was just a daydream Mauricio was having, comparing ReneeGade to Kika-yo-frumpy-ass.

Wow! I just had a flashback to my old school days and "compare and contrast".

Maybe the whole thing was a dream sequence. Including Kika's presentation that wowed the guys, maybe even the car.

Yeah, Chickie, that "days later" is suspicious. I will definitely be watching and recording tonight.

Kirby, Florida should hire you to do PR to increase tourism.
:-)

You know, I'm beginning to think snow is not as bad a thing as I thought.

OT A conventional European Honey Bee, (domestic bee) will hardly even sting. And if protecting the hive or Queen will only pursue an intruder around a hundred feet, just enough to get the threat away from the hive.

The Africanized bees will chase you something like an eighth of a mile, or something crazy, I do not remember the exact number, but something on the order of hundreds of yards.

I have seen many honey bees in the winter here which have gotten too far from the hive and become too cold to fly I put my hand down and let then crawl into my hand and loosely close my 'fist' if you will, to warm them up for a minute. Then when I open my hand the freshly warmed bee flies away. Never had one sting me. Domestic bees are far more benign than anything else which has a stinger.

Remember, no bees, no food.

Andy, Oh Yeah, "Come on down, yankees, the land of fun in the sun." Lord forbid you go out in the salt water with the jellyfish, and sharks.

Yeah, snow kills off a lot of things which you just don't miss.

Again this past week some drunk HillBilly got a DUI on a horse on the interstate.

Horse was taken into protective custody.

Ya know, as much as I dislike Kika, I have to give her credit for putting her money where her mouth is sort of. She is not too prissy to get down in a brawl with Renee. And like Andy said, in a skirt and heels no less.

She has changed her hormon.....scratch that ..mind about destroying Mauricio, bought him a consolation car, maybe she isn't so bad after all.

Kirby..hubba used to play golf with my uncle when we visited him in Lakeland. There was an alligator residing on the golf course that the locals called Blinky because he had a blind eye. People used to feed him marshmallows. Then, one year, he was gone. He started meandering to the downtown area and freaking people out , so he was relocated.

Better you guys than I dealing with so many threatening critters of the animal kingdom. In my neck of the woods which is only a block away from the real woods, all I have to worry about are the skeeters and an errant deer running in front of the car or trying to jump the street. I once spent a summer in Miami and the weather was challenging.

Jarifa, around here we have a lot of deer, coyotes, opposums, raccoons , hawks, vultures, some snakes, and an occasional bear.

What fun you all are having.

Kirby, fascinating information on bees. I love that you warm them up.

Thank you for "HillBilly got a DUI on a horse on the interstate. Horse was taken into protective custody". I had a hearty, laugh out loud chuckle.

Jarifa and Susanlynn, lately I've been seeing deer several times a week. Never, ever saw them years ago. There have been some terrible accidents on an adjoining road with the poor things trying unsuccessfullly to cross the street. They are hungry and their protective woods and disappearing.

Back to work.

Diana

We have most of what you have but they keep pretty much ensconced in the woods and are no real threat. . . . just those deer appearing out of nowhere. Hawks have become a nice addition within the last ten years around here. I don't know what I would do if I were in bear country. Yikes! Last week, I was driving and stopped to let a coyote cross the road, but he insisted that I go first. LOL.

Diana, a friend of mine totaled her SUV a few years back when a deer decided to jump out in front of her on a major street. Another problem with the deer is that where there is one there is usually at least one other following along.

Diana, we have a lot of deer in the woods behind our house . It is posted, so nobody can go there. A few years ago, we came home from vacation and something had eaten all the hostas along my front walk. The next day I saw win fauns wander to the front yard.

I don't know if they do it everywhere, probably so, but here in critter friendly Fla, they make special underpasses, so to speak, for the wildlife to cross under the major highways rather than try to use the crosswalks. :-)

We have special fencing on either side to sort of funnel them to their safe crossing. That is one thing I must give Florida, we are a very ecological, animal friendly state.

Fish and Wildlife keeps a database of all known Eagle nests, as they are protected. They record the last know hatches, the years active, and the Latitude and Longitude.

Afredo - Thank you for the recap!!!

This episode had me laughing out loud.
- When Mau yells "cat fight!" I totally cracked up. I had to give Kika credit for her boobage not escaping the top of her dress..
- Renee's frump-fest look with bathrobe, hair, baggy clothing, eating like a pig was just hilarious. She is really trying to believe she and Mau have no mutual attraction.

That pile of papers on Jorge's desk .... OMG .... it just fits with the oppressiveness of him and his life. Really reminds me of the office in Joe and the Volcano and Joe's brain cloud.

Thank so much Alfredo! Loved what you did with the recap and you captured that cat fight very humorously. So great work! I was surprised to see so many comments. I guess everyone must have loved last night’s show.

I guess none of us were expecting that big catfight. I know I sure wasn’t. But it sure was entertaining.

Andy: I wasn’t expecting that Jorge was the one who reported the animals because it was too obvious. Usually the “too obvious” isn’t what really happens. And I agree Kika is trying to buy out her competition!

Kirby: Yep, you described it perfectly, like ESPN Smackdown night! Oh I wouldn’t call that a spy camera. It’s just a security camera. I have one in my house too that I can log into anytime of the day to see what is going on. It’s on my ADT security system. But it was sure funny as he did look like there was a malfunction.

Would someone please explain to me why Renée was looking like a mess, slurping her cereal and all that stuff?

Carvivlie: I didn’t think about Kika’s boobs staying in her dress during the catfight. Yes, they must be securely taped in.

Looks like a romance is coming between Pablo and Lili. Is there where we will get an unplanned pregnancy maybe?

Jorge needs to calm down and go see a psychologist for some therapy. He is all wound up worse than ever and needs to take a deep breath. He can’t let those kids have such power over him or he is going to get sick with a heart attack or something worse.

Kirby, it is good to know that Florida wildlife management does such a good job.

Susanlynn, the deer around here sometimes go on tours of the yards especially in winter looking for something to munch on. Seeing the fawns must have been beautiful.

Cynthia, you know there always has to be an unplanned pregnancy.

Kirby: I like Marjorie more because we are seeing the more roles for her lately.

Cynthia: If the writers DO indeed read Caray, we may as well get ready for Flor and ...who...um..oh, maybe Veronica next. That dam catfight is more popular than Doritos.

Compare that to a few cockfights we have laughed at recently. Was it in Vino we saw the carefully choreographed non-fight? The one I called a couple girls squabbling over a hairbrush? Maybe Ramon. Doesn't matter.

Kirby, in Vino it was Cynthia Klitbo (Marta) and Azela Robinson (Lilian) who got into a fight. But it wasn't as good as the one last night with Renee and Kika.

I don't remember a catfight in Ramon. Does anyone remember if there was one?

I think Renee looked like a mess because she was trying to keep her feelings for Mau at bay and no better way to do that than to purposefully look bad to keep him away.

No, there was a couple of punches thrown in Vino or Ramoon, by the fellows and it was nothing as much fun as our Renee/Kickayoass.

Kirby...there was a "fight" between Ramoon and San Francisco ...Fran ran and hid under a car..chicken.. Teehee.

I haven't seen S. Rulli in a lot of roles, but what I have seen or been exposed to, he was this steamin throbbing hunka burnin Luuurve,.

But he is pretty darn funny. I know the director etc. can make most of it up. but he is a genuinely funny guy, with his sound effects when talking to Anifer, and the ! CatFight ! last night was the best.

These TN heartthrobs are aimed at the women, as are TNs in general, from the commercials, so I never really pay these guys a lot of attention, unless I hate them. But Rulli is sharp.

Susanlynn: I remember that fight between Ramon and Francisco. I think I recapped that day and said that Francisco hid under car like a pussycat.

Oh shoot, I forgot about hiding under a car like a kitty cat. Hmmmm what is another word for kitty kat?

Yeah, that was pretty good.

Kirby and Cynthia...yeah, Fran was just like a little kitty. Meow

Rulli is attractive , but he isnt on my telenovio list. He is very funny in this show. I especially enjoy the way he suddenly says something in English, but he seems to be doing that less. I wonder if someone complained.

Carvivlie: Renee needs to be FORCEFUL since it's obvious she's got feelings for Mauricio.

Susanlynn, I didn't know you had a "telenovio" list! Who is on it? Oh do tell!

Cynthia, oh yes. The list has not changed much since I started watching telenovelas about 10 years ago..Mauricio Cordoba, Fernando Colunga, and Big Ed Yanez. I also have a tv\movie list!

I haven't come up with a Telenovio list myself. I don't even know who I think is that attractive.

MISSING PATIO PAL--NiNa

♪♪Has anybody here seen my old pal, NiNa?
Can you tell me where she's gone?

And I just looked around and she hasn't been by...♪♪

RGV I betcha Nina is so tangled up with that nervous wreck plate of spaghetti on Care en Tenturds that she does not have the energy for Papa.

She is commenting over there.

OK. I sneaked in over there and left NiNa a message.

I don't think anybody saw me.

Thanks, Kirby! I was just worried about her. Glad she is commenting somewhere.

I stand corrected. The car is a Ferrari not a Lambo. They have all the decals covered, but I saw that little horse in the corner of a window when Ani was looking in.

Look on the headrest above Ani

I found Kika's secret
