Cris has Dimas hold Rob at the office, but he slips away, Cris takes the locked up folder and goes to see Negron, the lawyer, heading home Cris locks the folder in his car while he picks up something for Meche, Rob has been following him, and has a set of keys, takes pics of all the files.

samples are tasted and a small wine is picked, everyone is pleased, including Pablo, now for production, JJ gets in a celebratory kiss with Aurora, but she shuts him down.

Nat tells Paco the news, wants his help on the project, sees the money Paloma dropped off to cover her fine, tells Paco she saw Paloma and Ernesto earlier, looks like they are dating, Paco's face twists.

Rafa is off to college, Leo has been his best bud all his life, this women thing is twisting him, he needs time, and he can't believe Leo gave up his spot so Rafa could go to college, but in the end as last hugs are passed out he tells Leo you will always be my bro, or sis, however it works out.

Cris finally meets with Rob, tells him to clear out, Rob says no, shows him the pics of the files, Cris smashes his phone only to learn of the Iphone cloud, then smashes his face.

at the suggestion of Negron, Cris meets with Rob again and offers him money, nope, Rob wants back in the family, his visit with Emilio he wants to have in Cris' house.

(ok, Cris invested some money with and old friend, a restaurant, put it into his friends account with which he was made a signer, the friend later died, and now it turns out there are millions of dollars in that account that he has no idea where it came from, maybe dirty money, and no taxes have been paid over the years)

Leo and Sofia meet with Alexis and get the scoop on the change, after a couple of months of hormone treatments there will be no returning, no problem says Leo, Sofi is freaked by the whole deal but is hanging in there, oh yea, it will cost a lot of money, which means going to his family, Leo is not ready for that.

Sere has been having a rough time of it, they didn't show much but we can guess, Aurora tries to help, pushing JJ away.

Ernesto and Paloma are out, was it dinner at a hotel, Ernesto suggests getting a room, Paloma says she is just coming off an intense romance, is not ready, Ernesto says he's not one for the friend zone.

Cris turns to drink but Meche digs out the problem, next day Dimas calls and tells Meche Cris is going to turn himself in, she gets on board with Rob coming to the house, Aurora says if Rob comes here I never will.

when he is there Cris makes it clear that if Rob harms Aurora or emilio, he will kill him.

Ernesto's hard work pays off, he shows Susan a surveillance video of Rob and Sara at the clinic protest, proving he was stalking Aurora.

Rob is proud of himself for bending things in his favor, Sara shows him a court summons.

hmm, did I hear the judge granted Aurora's divorce, and Rob now has to wear an ankle monitor so they can track him.

Paco drops by Paloma's desk to drop off some stuff on the book, he's rude and leaves, she calls him a coward and draws out his jealousy of her being with Ernesto, how it tears him up, she kisses him.

Cris wants Leo to work full time at the winery, he needs him to keep an eye on Rob, Leo wants a position and a salary, he needs the money, hmm, Cris sees he's becoming a man, ok, you will be the production manager.

Rob sits alone in his motel room, he leaves a letter for Aurora and hijo, (writes like a grade school kid), his wedding ring, and slits his wrist, as Sara shows up with food, knocking on the door, window...

deb, another superb recap!! Many thanks! I can add only one small detail to your excellent account. Aurora's version won the competitive tasting for the small new wine.

I didn't catch Ernesto's saying he's not interested in being Paloma's "friend," but that certainly fits with his inviting her to spend the night with him in the hotel where they've had dinner. I was somewhat surprised at Ernesto's invitation. Somehow, he seemed more the straight-arrow type. Had Paloma made the invitation, I wouldn't have been surprised. :-) Except she's really still more interested in Paco. I know she's a free spirit and all that, but I still was annoyed with her for kissing Paco, who is doing his best to cool things between them. As well he should, I think. He's married and at least twice her age (and I don't mean 8 and 4, though sometimes it seems that way).

Good for Leo, finding a way to get $$ from his family without telling them why he needs it. And, ironically, his demand for a position and a salary win his father's approval as the macho thing to do!

@deb,one thing I forgot to say: I too was wondering whether I heard correctly that the judge has granted Aurora a divorce. At one point, someone referred to Roberto as her ex-exposo, which made me think I had heard correctly about the divorce. But I was very glad to see you comment on this as well.

@Anon12:05, I think you're probably right about Roberto's slitting his wrist to gain sympathy. I doubt he thinks he can escape more easily from the hospital, since I suspect he'll still have to wear the ankle thingee even in there. And he has so often turned on his hang-dog look in order to gain sympathy. I think the slit wrist is just a more extreme version of that--a hang-wrist look? :-)

I think I laughed out loud when I saw Rob's handwriting...just another sign that he's regressing, along with the crazy temper tantrums.

I was also taken aback by Ernesto's proposition...seems like it came out of nowhere which is not cool. Maybe something was deleted by the editors.

Does Sara really want to help Rob get back with Aurora? What's in it for her?

Cris was literally reduced to tears yesterday...now he really knows that Rob is not only abusive but a lying, manipulative con artist. Problem is his victims are not talking to each other and can't swap stories...so they can become allies.

Is Rob still working in the office? If so he'll probably try to do the same with Leo after he's working there.

I could be wrong but I think due to the attempted suicide, Roberto will be out of the office, at least for a few days. Remember that when Chris threw and broke Rob's cell phone, Roberto told Chris that everything that had been on the computer remains on the cloud? I predict that Leo, who will be monitoring Rob's computer, will discover the video that Delores' brother had sent to Rob. Rob erased it before anyone in the office could see it. Maybe it is still on the cloud. If Leo finds it, he will be a hero!

Glad aurora is finally free of rabinous rob. And yes.....his suicide attempt is a calculated move like everything else he does. So glad his sabatoging the condems did not work out in the end although aurora had to go thru the trauma of it all.

Been thinking about justice for chis for supporting rob over his own daughter. I had not thought of him doing jail time but it would be poetic justice if he did go to jail. I’d rather see that as opposed to his death, Im thinking death is the only thing that’s going to rid aurora of robs antics

Sara with Rob behind is at a gravestone, honoring the death of her son, killed in an accident, Emilio reminds her so much of him, that's why she loves him so much, later on she refers to Emilio as "our son".

Emilio has a part in a daycare play, Meche thinks Aurora should let Rob go.

Paco and Paloma roll-in-the-hay at the local hotel, did he say he has been separated from Nat for a year, but they keep their affair secret, he thinks she should find a guy her age and move on with her life, she thinks she has never had an affair so intense.

we see Sara and Rob at another grave, hmm, it's her mothers.

JJ swings by Aurora's (her place is like a couple hour commute, right?) with the new small wine posters that are all over town now, and plays with Emilio who is on his way to daycare, lurking Sara records it.

at the office Sere brings in some nice food for JJ, oh he had breakfast with Aurora, Anita offers to give it to the neighbors dog.

Leo shows Cris some graphs showing their sales are way down, and staying down (hasn't Leo turned up any dirt on Rob yet?) Leo brings in their posters for the new wine, blah, compared to Montiels, Rob says it's a shame they wasted so much money, what?

the Montiels discover the name Small Wine and all variations are registered to the Castañeda winery, what? but Aurora sent an email to Sere to get that done 6 months ago, oh but Sere was nasty to Anita that day and she erased the email, JJ chews out clueless Sere, but I didn't get it.

Nat goes to see Cris to buy the name back, did she offer $100K, Cris wants $500K, Leo watches.

JJ is having problems with his zipper, Aurora is on her knees trying to help, Anita sends Sere over for a look, yep sure looks like oral sex, Sere blows up, Anita smiles.

previously Horatio asks Sere to a wine tasting to represent the Montiels as no others will be going.

darn, Aurora is late getting Emilio's bunny costume for the play, Rob and Sara are having a nice dinner, but his ankle buzzer goes off, Aurora is near have to leave, Aurora doesn't think she'll make it in time, calls Meche, who calls Rob, he gets the last costume, and it alerts the police, Ernesto arrives but Rob is ignoring him so his partner tasers Rob (he does a nice fish out of water imitation on the sidewalk) Aurora pulls up, she feels sorry for him.

at the station Susan finds out the ankle bracelet wasn't working right, she has been monitoring Rob for a year, he has been on his best behavior, goes to his anger management, pays his child support, etc etc.

at the Park Motel, Sara calls Aurora a slut, shows Rob the video of JJ, Emilio, and Aurora, Rob rolls back into his crazy ways, but gets a call, meets with his lawyer, Aurora has agreed to dial back the restraining order, he gets the ankle bracelet removed. (no, no, no...)

Paloma is meeting Paco (at the only hotel in town) for their rendezvous, but Horatio and Sere, dressed real nice, are there, so they sneak sex in Paloma's room at Aurora's house, almost caught by Aurora (who is wearing her only pajamas).

things went well ??, or not, for Sere who wakes up in Horatio's bed the next morning, she slips out and goes to see Doris who says, been there, done that, I'll keep your secret.

Rob arrives at Aurora's house, what?, they are going to the play together, he has brought some easter eggs for Emilio that he wants to hide about the house (or are they cameras) and as soon as Aurora is out of the room he goes for her phone.

Paloma has play tickets in San Francisco for the two but Paco needs to stay to help Nat, the problem now is how to fund the new campaign and keep the wine release on schedule.

Aurora goes to see Cris, hmm, and always the conditions, her small wine was developed at his winery, his money, she can go ahead with it if she signs a contract to do it here, it's business, hmm, not a chance, he tells her to leave (and come crawling back later), Aurora says "of course I am leaving..."

I was dismayed that a year had passed. What happened with Roberto's suicide attempt. It was not even mentioned. Could Sara have kept it private? This also means that Chris and Merce have been allowing Roberto to blackmail them for a year!

Fantastic recap, deb! MANY thanks!! You nailed it all, and I loved your parenthetical comments. I too wondered why, in a whole year, Leo hasn't stumbled upon any of the evil stuff Rob has been up to. I'm hoping it's significant that Leo witnesses part of his father's quarrel with Natalia. I still want to see Leo be the hero.

Speaking of a whole year's having passed, when I first saw Sara at a tombstone, I thought it was Rob's (and that he had succeeded in committing suicide). I was very puzzled about how the writers could kill him off with, what, 9 or 10 episodes left. And when the camera shifted to show just Rob, I assumed Sara was hallucinating or remembering (if there's a difference :-) ).

Yeah, what happened to Rob's suicide attempt? Surely they didn't include it in the previous episode just to fool us at the start of this one. Then again....

I enjoyed the way the plot has come together with both Serena and Sara being fed up with playing second fiddle to Aurora.

Aurora rips on Rob for backing Cris on the small wine thingy, and later as the Montiels are scrambling to get money for a new promotion they discover Cris has put the Small Wine name in Aurora's name, and as Aurora thanks him we find out it wasn't him at all but Rob who made the change.

Horatio had sent flowers earlier and asked Aurora how she liked them, what, Sere thought they were for her and hid them (I think he's goofing on her) he had fun the other night, Sere wants to forget it, Aurora overhears.

Cris rips on Roberto for giving Aurora the rights to the name, Cris wants him out, Rob's not leaving, reminds him of the Cayman account, tells Cris to leave his office.

Sere sets up a dinner with JJ, to celebrate the Small wine, (well maybe some guilt too), she apologizes to him, he says don't, I should, he tells her he does love Aurora, they haven't done anything, but that's how it is, breaks it off with Sere (again), she's crushed.

Sere rips on Aurora for telling JJ, she didn't, she wouldn't, and it was Sere that let her know about Horatio.

Cris goes to Negron (I've always thought him representing Cris and Rob is a major conflict of interest) Negron suggests they move the money to an offshore account and the problem will be gone, he'll take care of it, ah and next we see him with Rob, did he buy it?, yep, we split 50/50? Negron asks, Sara is the strawman, and we find out Cris' take, that his friends money was returned to his heirs, and his restaurant investment money is now in a Panama account managed by, who is actually Sara.

JJ runs to Aurora but finds Rob at her house working on the sink.

word has spread about the Sere/JJ breakup, Meche goes to Doris' house where she is now staying, and in walks Leo fully dressed, (pretty tall in those heels or is Sofi shrinking) costume right? nope it's me Leo tells her.

Horatio suggests to Nat presenting their wine at two festivals, JJ and Aurora will go to Miami, he and Sere will go to Cancun (seems kind of sneaky)

JJ jumps on Aurora for easing up on Rob, she's calling the shots in her life now, fine we'll just be business partners then.

Aurora arrives at Cris's house, Paloma says she spent some time in San Francisco with Ernesto, what? Leo arrives and says Mom knows, and now Aurora finds out, Leo tries to talk to Meche, but she knows the difference between a man and woman, she storms out.

Sara went to Panama with Negron, is back now, all went well, she signed a lot of papers, happy to see me?

Cris puts the company accounts in Leo's name, he doesn't want Rob doing anything behind their backs.

Aurora has changed her trip to Cancun away from JJ, Anita tells Rob, when he goes to make reservations for himself he can't use the company credit card and learns of the changes, hmm, Negron has also told him Leo is the one they need to watch on their Panama deal, so when Cris sends Leo to help Dimas, Rob is there in Leo's office, Leo was trying to ID who is managing the Panama account and was looking at a picture of Sara but hasn't made the connection, hmm, but there is a text on his phone from Alexis and the LBGT stuff.

Sere reads JJ's Miami speech and it is all about Aurora, Aurora reads it too, hmm, (did she like what she saw), anyway, Sere stayed home, JJ went alone to Miami and as he finishes this wonderful speech, a ravishing Aurora walks in, wow.

Rob tells Cris he is taking some time off and sent him some things.

Nat and Paco arrive home (the english captions said they were separated but maybe it is just cheating) Nat says she wants a drink, not the Silly wine, she goes for the Tequila, Paloma texts Paco, she is alone at Aurora's house if he wants to talk, Nat is back and where is Paco? and what's this on the TV?

in a TV interview JJ gives Aurora all the credit, she kisses him.

Rob plans a day at the beach with Sara and Emilio, and sees the kiss...

Sere also sees it, she tells Joaquin she wants to die...

Leo doesn't see it as he and Sofi are at a LBGT party, and so is Cris...

Wow, deb, you keep outdoing yourself! Many thanks for this marvellous recap. You mention that you're watching with English captions. Where do you do this? I was under the impression that they were available for the entire episode only on Telemundo Now, which doesn't appear until the next morning. I'm sticking with Spanish captions, but it would be good to know where English ones are available.

Cris is being double-crossed, and IMHO he deserves every bit of nastiness he gets and then some, for the way he has (mis)treated his kids. Of course, I hate Roberto more, but I enjoyed his turning the tables on Cris and telling him "get out of my office and shut the door," echoing what Cris has said to him any number of times.

I didn't understand the whole business with Horacio and the flowers. It didn't occur to me that he might be teasing Serena, but perhaps you're right. Still, that all seems so stupid. (I should really save that sentence so I can paste it in elsewhere, since it applies all through the novela.)

This novela should really have been called "They Never Learn." You'd think that people would be more careful with their cell phones, especially with maniacs like Roberto roaming around. But no, first Aurora and now Leo just leave the phones unattended. I wonder whether it's a familial trait, but I don't remember Paloma doing this. At least not yet. There are still 9 episodes to go.

And what's with the TV coverage of what seems to me relatively minor news except for the Monteils and the Casteñedas? Perhaps a short mention in the business section of the TV news, but no, there's apparently major coverage, and, of course, everyone has their TVs on to that channel and thus watch The Kiss. Duh.

hi Juanita, I just watch the local station with the english captions on, you know if you record the show you could could switch to the english captions when you rewatch it.

I'll try to do one of these short recaps for every show, no promises, EXCEPT, I'll leave the gran final for someone else.

it's amazing that the show is still coherent with what seems to be a lot missing, I'm counting on everyone's help to let me know if I got it right.

it seems Paco is still with Natalia, so Paloma took Ernesto to San Francisco to see the play, nobody went to Cancun (except Horacio), I thought Roberto was coming over to Auroras to go to Emilios daycare party, (and I guess that finally happened) but looks like he was just coming over to see Emilio, Miami seems to be the place for Juanjo, (what happens in Miami doesn't stay in Miami), Dimas seems a lot better but I guess has problems when he exerts himself, and Cris, wow, that's the last of his kids, him and Meche all alone in the real world, will he start burning all his bridges?

The way they skip time is a bit disconcerting, of course the 1 year later thing was a little much, never explaining Rob's attempted suicide. In last night's show I think Roberto was going to go to Emilio's festival, about 2 minutes later he had already gone.
I do think Paco is still with Natalia, and has been cheating all year long. But it's quite amazing he would get a text from Paloma and just leave Natalia in the other room without a word. They're bound to get caught soon.
That lawyer is just terrible, I really hope he gets disbarred or worse before the show is over.
And the one big problem Roberto has is Sara. Yes, she's helping him right and left. But he still loves Aurora. One day Sara will figure this out, and when she turns against Roberto, look out! Or maybe I'm wrong, she'll defend him to the end, even with her life!
But I still can't get over Anita. What is her problem? Yes, her co-workers don't treat her well. But she is digging herself in a deep, deep hole. Unless Roberto dumps Sara and goes with Anita! Okay, enough silly speculation for one night.
