**Both Sangre de mi tierra and Señora Acero 4 will end on Tuesday. On Wednesday, they will be replaced by Al otro lado del muro and Enemigo íntimo. The Latin Times describes Al otro lado del muro as "a thrilling telenovela about two women who come to live in the United States: one chasing a dream and the other one escaping from a nightmare." A more detailed synopsis can be found here. Enemigo íntimo will star Fernanda Castillo, who played Monica Robles in El Señor de los Cielos. Castillo will portray Roxana Rodiles, "a woman with an obscure past and dubious business activities in the present." The Latin Times offers more information here.

¡Bienvenida, Anita! Yes, Telemundo has been using the morning time slot to reprise novelas first seen in the evening. Not long ago, it was Santa Diabla, replaced a week or so ago by Marido en Alquiler. Who knows, they may some day reprise Reina de Corazones, or what was left of it after they hacked it to pieces. Sigh.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the upcoming evening offerings, especially Al Otro Lado del Muro.

Sangre de mi tierra - #58/1
Dolores tells Susan that Roberto and Sara got married. She saw Sara in a bridal gown and bouquet, and Roberto too was formally dressed. They didn't see her, and she didn't speak to them; they got into a car and drove away.
Serena and Aurora reconcile. As hard as it is for her, Serena recognizes that Juanjo and Aurora love each other and always have. And Serena and Aurora are "sisters."
The scene shifts to Tijuana. Sara sees in a magazine a photo of the guy who performed her wedding ceremony with Roberto. She does an Internet search and realizes that she's been duped. She then overhears Reyes and Zenobia talking about Roberto's plan. Reyes is supposed to cross the border with "that drugged woman," who will then be killed and her death will be made to look like a suicide. "You don't know who you're messing with," Sara says to an absent Roberto.
Meanwhile, back in California, Roberto vehemently denies to Susan that he married "that crazy woman" and claims that she's simply obsessed with him. Susan then shows him a photo of Reyes. Roberto admits that he knows Reyes. They're friends from childhood and grew up in the same barrio. Reyes has had money problems and Roberto has helped him out. Roberto tells Susan he's sure Reyes has nothing to do with Emilito's kidnapping. He gives Susan Reyes' phone number and address.
Sara offers to cook for Zenobia and Reyes. She sends them out to get the ingredients she needs. Once they leave, she finds her gun and some pills.
Natalia comes to see Paloma. "I came to give you something I owe you," she tells Paloma, and slaps her hard. Cris comes into the room, enraged at Natalia. Natalia tells him to ask this whore (piruja) why she's here. Cris turns his anger onto Paloma, who runs to find Meche. Cris comes after her. Paloma tells her father that the affair is over, and Meche too says it's over. Cris is enraged that Meche knew and didn't tell him. He goes after both of them. Leo(nora) comes in and confronts Cris. She tells Meche to call 911 and report domestic violence. Meche tells Leonora to go to her room.
After eating the food Sara cooked, Zenobia goes into a deep sleep. Reyes suspects she's been drugged and goes looking for Sara. She's not in her room.
An enraged Cris finds Paco and screams at him for having slept with Paloma, someone whose diapers he had changed. He slugs Paco and demands that Paco fight back, but he doesn't. One of Cris's blows sends Paco to the floor, unconscious. Cris calls for an ambulance.
Susan and Ernesto are unable to find any proof against Roberto. There's no record of a marriage to Sara, and the contact info that Roberto provided for Reyes seems genuine. But when Susan looks at a video of their questioning of Roberto, she notices that at certain questions, he keeps crossing his fingers and hiding his thumbs. This body language makes her sure he's nervous and he's lying. She tells Ernesto to get two police to keep watch over Roberto 24/7.
Gun in hand, Reyes continues to look for Sara. She suddently appears and shoots him. The coyote who was supposed to take Reyes, Sara, and Emilito across the border appears, pointing a gun at Sara. She tells him Reyes was going to kill her, but she shot first and he's dead. She tells the coyote that if he wants to continue the deal, he can take her across the border and she'll pay him double.
The drugged Zenobia wakes up and hears her phone ring. It's Roberto, who has been trying unsuccessfully to reach Reyes. Zenobia tells Roberto that no one is in the house except her.

As Sara and Emilito are riding with the coyote, she remembers confronting Wilmer. She had held a knife to his neck, told him she had seen him write "Assassin," and demanded to know what he had against Roberto. Wilmer told her Roberto was not the good person she thought he was. He killed his wife's brother, and he, Wilmer, had proof. Sara asks the coyote how much longer they'll be traveling. He tells her they're close, but if she's tired, there's a motel just 2 km. away where she can rest. No, she says, she has things to do on the other side of the border, and then she'll be able to rest. She offers to pay the coyote extra if he hurries.
Cris comes to the hospital, learns that Paco has suffered a serious head wound and is in surgery. Cris calls a very drunk Natalia to give her the news.
We next see Paco in his hospital bed, awake and out of danger. The entire Monteil clan is present.
Also at the hospital, Cris berates Meche again for not having told him about Paloma. She says she didn't tell him precisely to avert this kind of tragedy. He blusters on in his pig-headed macho way. A discouraged Meche says, "You'll never change," and orders him to leave the house. Cris tells her it's his house, and she can't make him leave. She tells him she can report him for domestic violence. Juaquín comes by and tells Cris that if he continues with his stubbornness and pride, he'll find himself all alone.
Everyone receives a video on their phones from Sara. In the video, she tells them that it was Roberto who killed Emilio by tampering with the brakes, and she shows Wilmer's video. She also reveals that Roberto then killed Wilmer, who had been blackmailing him. And it was Roberto who arranged to have Juanjo drugged and Emilito kidnapped and brought to Mexico with her. She has escaped and will soon return Emilito, safe and sound. She asks for forgiveness. There's jubilation among most of the Castañedas, and rage from Juanjo, who recognizes that Roberto had sent him to prison and almost ruined his life. "I'm going to kill him," Juanjo vows.
Roberto is in Sara's house, I think. He too has received a copy of Sara's video. He's dressed in a suit and tie--I'm not sure why. Suddenly he hears, "Hola amor," and turns to see Sara pointing a gun at him. She looks as if she may be finding it difficult to pull the trigger, but we'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out whether that's the case.

Juanita, excellent recap...answered a lot of my questions.
2 insignificant corrections...1) Zenobia was outside the apartment and couldn't go back in to get the money because the Police were searching the area due to Reyes death. Rob refused to help and told her she's on her own. 2) Rob snuck into Aurora's house. (The writers decided Rob should have keys to Aurora's house. Earlier he walked in and out as he pleased and Aurora demanded them back...but he had a copy.) While Aurora was showering, he entered her bedroom just in time to catch the video on her phone. I think he took the phone downstairs and wet it to create water damage. That's when Sara appeared with the gun.
We saw everyone's reaction to the video... except Aurora and Cris. I was expecting the video to be a game changer for Cris...allowing him to reconcile with Juanjo and redirect his anger at Rob. Perhaps tonight.
In addition to sending the video, Sara gave Delores Wilmer's backpack with the money and tablet inside. She also told Delores she thought Rob killed Wilmer. In the video she promised to return Emilito...not sure if she left him with Delores.
Flashbacks revealed that Sara knew a lot more than we were led to believe which confused me even more. What was her m.o. if she knew Rob was a murderer for months? And why did she trust him and not help Aurora and Juanjo?
On another note, Horacio met Natalia at the club where Serena works and we saw a little jealousy from Serena. Nat got sloppy drunk trying to drink her sorrows away and Horacio and Serena had to take her home. There they learned that Paco was in the hospital. Later, we see Nat at his bedside...they're holding hands. Next Serena apologized to Horacio for her crappy attitude...and it looked like the start of something new..

Muchísimas gracias, Spanish Student, for your excellent additions and corrections. I had totally missed point #1. And your explanation of point #2 was very helpful. It had crossed my mind that Rob must have been in Aurora's house, since he certainly wouldn't be sniffing Sara's pajamas! :-) But I didn't think that Sara had keys to Aurora's house, and I decided that she couldn't have snuck in unheard without them, so the scene must have taken place in Sara's house. However, what seemed confusing late last night now seems crystal clear, thanks to you.
I also missed Sara's giving Dolores Wilmer's backback with the money and tablet inside. Like you, though, I wondered (and still wonder) why Sara stayed with Roberto and even married him (or thought she did) once she knew what a nasty piece of work he was. That seems to me a big Oops moment in the writing or editing of the novela.
Thanks too for adding the stuff about Horacio, Serena, and Natalia. I decided that the recap was already pretty choppy, and I couldn't see a way to add that thread without making it even choppier, so I left it out, hoping that someone else would add it.

If Sara survives, it's off to prison for her! She is an accessory to Roberto's criminal activities. She has a lot of qualities in common with him. So lonely and desperate, she continued to buy Rob's BS in hopes of a fairy tale ending. The only reason she flipped was because of her own hurt, not because she grew a conscience.
Enough with the pathetic Natalia/Paco/Paloma story line. That's what they should have cut from the show.
Serena is most deserving of a happily ever after, even if it is with Horacio.
Rob: death, prison or manicomio?
Will we get a satisfying ending? We find out tonight!

@Steve: I think and strongly hope that you're wrong about there being a 2-hour gran final, even though there are enough loose ends to justify 2 hours. The Telemundo website has a strange blank gap for tonight's evening programming, but it shows the midnight repeat of Sangre being an hour long, and the 1 a.m. repeat of Señora Acero 4's gran final also being an hour long. I also checked with Zap2It, and it shows both shows being one hour long, both at 9 and 10 p.m. and again at midnight and 1 a.m.

what a wonderful recap Juanita!
the story itself was a bit choppy last night, but you put it together pretty well, hmm, a couple little things I noticed, if it helps,
Sere came back to Aurora to be with her because of Emilio, in part because Susan had explained to her that Aurora wasn't accusing her of being part of that.
and who takes a nice lady on a date to a strip joint, but I think it was Natalia's idea, cracked me up at the hospital when they brought Paco some pain killers, he didn't want any but she took one.
Sara was smart in searching Reyes bag, taking his gun and using the pills on them at dinner, except Reyes wasn't hungry.
also interesting that she wouldn't let Zenovia smoke pot in the house because of Emilio.
not sure why she needed a coyote to get back into the states, maybe because Emilio was with her.
interesting that she confronted Wilmer, who talked with a knife to his throat, but this was before Rob killed him, so not so bad.
also interesting the death of Sara's son, Rob used it as an excuse of why Sara was whacko, but it was her trip to her son's grave that led to her seeing Wilmer bury the backpack.
also when Zenovia gave Rob a heads up (she desperately needed money and help but Rob told her not to call him again and hung up, ha!) he went to Sara son's grave, fresh flowers,
I'm thinking Sara gave Dolores Emilio, as well as the backpack with the tablet and all the money, that was nice.
the two story place with the sign calling Rob a murderer, the paint still wet, was the beach house he sold Sara, Susan's guys saw him and she had Ernesto get a search warrant.
and in the end he went back to Aurora's, with her phone next to her pajamas, and saw the video, so Aurora hasn't.

I hope Sara lives, even if she's incarcerated, since she's intimately aware of most of Rob's crimes...Not to mention the corrupt lawyer and theft of the offshore account. I don't sympathize with her treatment of Aurora but I like that she didn't take Wilmer's money. Of course, in an ideal ending, Cris & family would let Delores keep some of the money, or maybe even give her shares in the company. For Wilmer's video will not only reunite 2 families but will allow them to grieve properly and move forward.

Hi guys!
I've been a silent reader of Caray Caray's Telemundo recaps since I found this website in 2015 when I was watching Pasion De Gavilanes (loved it). I've been watching Sangre since January and this website has really helped me fill in the gaps about the events in December.
I'm eagerly waiting for the destruction of Roberto the terrible. Sara, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I have a feeling she's going to kill Roberto because even though Juanjo and Aurora have suffered more, I don't see them going to the extremes like Sara.
Also Juanjo and Aurora are not the brightest tools in the shed so there's that. Here's hoping Roberto goes to hell and more.

I'll be watching the first episodes of the two new ones. I meant to watch Sangre but started taping it after it had been on three weeks, and it just seemed too hard to catch up.
I'm hoping for one of the novelas to grab me so I can come back to my friends here at Caray, Caray.

Sangre de mi tierra - #59/1
Short version: Roberto is beaten and shot, and winds up in a coma in a vegetative state. Crisanto asks everyone's forgiveness, one by one. Just about everyone ends up with a partner. Happy happy happy. Fin.
[No, I didn't think that would suffice, but it was worth a try.] The episode opens the way the previous one ended, with Sara pointing a pistol at Roberto. She says there's no point in his trying to destroy evidence, because she has sent a video to everyone, including the police. Chances are they're looking for you right now, she tells him. She explains how she found out that he was planning to have her killed and make her death appear to be a suicide. He tells her he saw a psychiatrist because she is sick, she's schizophrenic. "I'm sick?" she asks. "The only crazy one is you. You were in love for years with a woman who didn't love you, and doesn't love you." Sara tells him she's going to free him from his suffering. Aurora hears a gunshot. She cautiously comes out of her bedroom and sees Sara on the floor, bleeding. Roberto comes up behind Aurora and grabs her, holding a gun to her head.
Susan and Ernesto watch the video. Susan realizes that if Roberto sees the video, Aurora and others could be in danger. Susan and Ernesto race out to Aurora's house. But she's no longer there. While holding her at gunpoint, Roberto forces her out the door and demands car keys from an old woman using a walker. He drives off with Aurora. He tells her, "When we married, I said I would be with you until death, and I'm going to fulfill that promise." He has to stop for gas, and Aurora convinces him that she has to use the bathroom. He accompanies her most of the way. When Aurora enters the bathroom, a woman is leaving, and Aurora asks her to lend her her cellphone, it's an emergency. She call Juanjo and tells him where she is, but Roberto interrupts her and throws the phone into the toilet.
He binds Aurora's hands with his tie, and they drive off. "I should have killed both of you a while ago," Roberto tells Aurora. He finally stops the car near a railroad track. Aurora escapes from the stopped car, her hands still bound, and runs. She hides in one of the railroad cars. As Roberto looks for her, Juanjo and Crisanto drive up and start calling out for Aurora and Roberto. Roberto gets close to where Aurora is hiding, but just then Crisanto appears, and Roberto shoots him. Juanjo goes to the injured Crisanto. Roberto probably would have shot him, but Aurora managed to stick her foot out from the railroad car and trip Roberto. Juanjo then charges at Roberto. They fight, but Juanjo beats him repeatedly and knocks him momentarily unconscious. Aurora is with Crisanto. Juanjo gets a phone call from Paloma letting him know that Emilito has been returned safe and sound. Aurora, Crisanto, and Juanjo are very happy to hear this and don't notice that Roberto is coming at them brandishing a large chunk of wood. Aurora catches sight of him, picks up the gun that's conveniently lying near her, and shoots him, just as Susan and Ernesto arrive.
Several weeks pass. Paloma is now in New York and is chatting with Aurora via Skype. She has met one of Aurora's male friends from Paris, who is the owner of a restaurant and very good-looking. Also, Paloma has a job interview the next day at a terrific gallery.
Crisanto comes home from the hospital. He says he plans to stay with Aurora and Juanjo for just a few days. Aurora insists that he should stay with them and consider their house his house.
Paco is planning to return to Spain the next day. He and Natalia start remembering all the good times. Finally, Natalia asks him to stay. He agrees. We see a bit of PG-13 sex.

Serena admits that she likes him a little, and she remembers that he's great in bed. Dimas comes to Karen's to see Serena, and he asks Serena's forgiveness. Hugs.
Sara comes to the hospital with Susan to see Roberto. Susan tells her he is in a vegetative state with minimal brain activity. According to the neurologist, there's not much hope that he will wake up from his coma. Sara asks whether he can hear. Apparently some patients can, and can even recognize voices. "I hope that's so," says Sara. She approaches Roberto's bed and says in his ear, "If I had wanted to get revenge, I couldn't have thought of a better way. This is your prison."
The rest of the episode could be entitled "Te pido perdón." Crisanto has summoned his family and the Montiels to a meeting. He then asks forgiveness, one by one. He first asks forgiveness of Juanjo. He admits that he treated him very badly and unjustly, and he now realizes that Juanjo was not only innocent but is also a good man, loyal, courageous. Crisanto says "I'm not trying to justify myself, but when they killed Emilio, I took out all my grief and hatred on you. On all of you." He and Juanjo hug.
Crisanto then moves on to Natalia. He gives her back La Viña del Rio, the vineyard he took from her. More hugs.
Crisanto shakes hands with Paco. This time, he doesn't ask for forgiveness, but simply says "You and I have to talk."
Back at Meche's house, Meche is astonished to see Dimas and Natalia arrive with many bags full of food. Natalia wants to have a great celebration, they way they used to. Why? Because Crisanto has returned La Viña del Rio. Meche is astonished. And delighted.
The perdóns continue. Crisanto comes to see Leonora. He tells her "it's no secret that I was brought up to see things as black and white, period. But I had no right to treat you that way. So I ask you to forgive me. I just ask that you give me time to adjust to things." More hugs.
Meche sees Crisanto and Leonora embracing. Cris then asks for Meche's forgiveness. Still more hugs.
Even Anita gets into the act. She asks Aurora to forgive her for the rotten way she treated her. "I thought Roberto was a good person. I had no idea how much harm he was doing to you or to Emilito." Aurora assures her that she wasn't the only one who was taken in by Roberto.
Of course, the novela ends with Aurora and Juanjo. They both say they feel so peaceful, so happy. "And nothing, finally, will separate us." Their song plays. And the curtain falls. Oops, not quite. The scene shifts to the hospital, with Roberto in his coma. Suddenly, his eye opens. And the novela ends.

Telenovela writers are masters at creating drama where it doesn't exist, i.e. the age difference between Paco and Paloma. I get it...the families were close and they tainted that bond. But Cris cheated with a woman much younger and more worldly than Meche (Kimberly). Happy to no longer hear about how many times Paco may have changed Paloma's diaper...20+ years ago.

I stay in South Africa and La Fan is currently airing we are at episode 73 now and I think Sangre De Mi Tierra will later this year. I'm just happy that we get the full version of the novelas and not the hacked telenovelas you guys get in America

Spanish Student, I hadn't seen the short description of the episode on TM's website, and I'm glad I didn't. I didn't want to know that Rob had survived until I saw the end of the novela. The ending is much more powerful, IMHO, if you don't know to expect his waking up. So I'm pleased that you preferred my version.
I may have had somewhat less sympathy for Cris than you did, but I agree with what you say. I'm glad he came around and was redeemed. Anita, OTOH, is a very different case. She had MUCH less reason to be such a perra to Aurora and others. I'd have been happier with a bizarre ending where her excessively bright red lips fell off. :-)
Though it's true that Cris had an affair with a woman much younger than he was, that didn't trouble me as much as Paco's affair with Paloma. For me, not only was the family closeness important, but so too was the fact that Paco had changed her diapers! That detail apparently resonated for me more than for you. To me, it made the affair seem almost incestuous.
You describe Leonora as being left in a "virginal state." As Leonora, perhaps, but as Leonardo, didn't he and Sofi have sex, and even a pregnancy scare?
I'm not sure whether anyone else feels this way, but I LIKED the ending with Rob's opening an eye. It made what for me was an excessively sugary ending more edgy. I remember thinking "Uh oh" when Aurora and Juanjo talked about nothing ever again being able to separate them. For me, that's asking for trouble. So the opened eye seemed both eerie and appropriate. (What? Me superstitious?)

So two weeks in the hospital was what it took for Cris to repent and ask forgiveness. He had some time to think about Joaquin's words: If you don't change you will end up very much alone. The forgiveness came a little too quickly for me, as Cris caused a lot of damage over many years. I was pleased that Paloma was not willing to forgive right away as others did.
Serena and Paloma will be much better off where they are. Both need a fresh start.
I'd like to think Leonora will be alright. She has a good support system now.
A big disappointment for me (maybe all of us) was Anita. Not even a cachetada for her. Victim of Roberto? Not buying it. Victim of her own stupidity is more like it.
Luis remained a cipher throughout the entire novela. I guess he was there only to provide a motivation for Anita's bitterness and scheming with Roberto.

I was a little surprised when both Sara and Roberto were alive. I thought the police officer felt for Sara's pulse, looked at the other officer and shook his head, as if to say, no, she didn't make it. We also never saw how Rob must have grabbed the gun and shot her (I guess it's easier for the director just to let us imagine it).
I was actually a little teary and emotional when Paco and Natalia reconciled. I know how bad Paco was, but the two of them had had so many good years together, and one terrible year, it was very moving when she said "quédate".
I liked that Paloma has tickets to the Metropolitan Opera, because I love the Met Opera too, and have been there many times!
I liked that this show actually ended (no, I don't think Roberto's eye opening was anything more than a little joke). I was really disappointed when Sin Senos Si Hay Paraiso "ended" with absolutely NOTHING resolved - just wait for next season. In Sangre, they resolved just about everything. Very satisfying.
Thanks again to all the recappers and commenters. Since I don't watch the show until the day after (because in my city On Demand is HD, but the regular channel isn't, and also I like to be able to watch when I have time), I wasn't able to comment too much. But I really enjoyed reading everything we all had to say.

I'm a little late in realizing this but ....the war was essentially Cris (and family) vs Nat (and family), and both Cris and Nat were alienated by their spouses, children, and friends for being too controlling and bull-headed (for lack of a better word). Both became depressed, but as typical, Nat was burdened with self-hatred and guilt whereas Cris drank and lashed out, sometimes violently, at others. The matriarch and patriarch were humbled and eventually became better people. I'm guessing this is a common plot for novelas.

Al Otro Lado del Muro
I liked the first episode of this novela. I was a bit confused about the timing, even though they gave us a big hint when the words "a week earlier" appeared after we saw a woman running to a car that was ready for her with a small child. And then the same woman appears in the earlier time frame as the wife of the governor of a state in Mexico. I'm still confused about why she was escaping from bad guys with a boy about 8 years old, when her children are a boy of, say, 14 and a girl of 8 or 9.
Gabriel Porras is a very versatile actor. He was SO endearing in Bajo el Mismo Cielo, and SO rotten in La Reina del Sur. He's a different kind of baddie in this one.
I have a feeling that Adriana Barraza, Eliza's mother Carmen, who so hates people crossing the border, might do so herself. She's a major actress in Mexico and I don't expect her to have a minor role.
Here we go again with the evil blondes! The governor's assistant is a classic.
I haven't watched the second premiere episode and probably won't have time until the weekend to watch that one and catch up with Muro. But so far, I'm enjoying Muro.

I somewhat arbitrarily chose "lado" when I put up the current Telemundo page, and I just checked. No other novela has used that as a title word, and so I think we should stick with it. So please remember to put the word "Lado" or "lado" (no quotation marks) at the top of each posting that has to do with Al Otro Lado del Muro.

OK, here are some more details that may prove helpful in getting into the novela. We've got two principal women, Eliza Romero and Sofia Villavicencio. Each has a husband and two children. Max is married to Eliza, and they have 8-year-old twins, Karina and Tomas. Sofia is married to Ernesto Martinez, the governor of the Mexican state of Puebla. They also have two children, a boy, Julian, and a girl, Alondra, who is younger. Eliza seems to work with her mother, who is a baker. One of her customers is Sofia. The families know and like each other. I say "families," but I really mean the women and children. Eliza's husband Max is away on business for about half the year, and Sofia's husband Ernesto doesn't really mingle with the hired help.
Both women seem very happy with their lives. Sofia won the Miss Mexico contest but gave up the title ten years ago to marry the up and coming politician Ernesto. Eliza is delighted that Max has arranged for the family to move to the United States and move into a house he is having remodelled. What the women don't know is that their husbands aren't the ideal men they think they are. Max apparently has another family, including one or more children, in the United States. And Ernesto is a corrupt politician deeply involved in human trafficking.
What we see in this opening episode is that when Eliza and her children arrive in Los Angeles, Max fails to meet them. And a woman comes up to Sofia pleading with her to save her daughter, who has been kidnapped, and that Ernesto's friend and associate Juan Estevez is involved. A female reporter, too, tries to make Sofia aware of what's happening and enlist her help. Ernesto succeeds in convincing Sofia that these claims of wrongdoing are fraudulent and are intended to undermine his work. Believing her husband, Sofia meets with the reporter and asks who she's working for and how much she was bribed. The reporter plays a recording of a conversation between Ernesto and Juan Estevez in which they mention "botellitas." The reporter explains that the word doesn't refer to bottles of alcohol but rather to kidnapped girls. Sofia doesn't believe the reporter and tells her never to come near her or her family again. But later, at home, she sees a message on her husband's cell phone telling him that the botellitas are already at the Rancho San Pedro.
The naive/courageous Sofia sneaks out of the house and drives to Rancho San Pedro. She looks in the window of a building and sees a number of young women, all looking unhappy, and perhaps one of them looking like the girl in a flier Sofia had been given. However, Sofia is discovered by the chauffeur of Juan Estevez. She manages to escape from him (with a well-placed kick to his family jewels), only to be confronted by another man with a gun. Channeling her inner James Bond, she escapes from him as well. She gets in her car and drives away but is distracted by her cell phone ringing and crashes the car into a tree. She calls her chauffeur (I think) and he come to help her. She asks him to say nothing about this to anyone, and especially not to mention where her accident took place. She also asks him to stop at a hotel rather than bring her home. The hotel is where the journalist told her she could find her.
Sofia does find the journalist and tells her she was right, her (Sofia's) husband is corrupt. She wants to help the kidnapped women. At that moment, there's a knock on the door, and in walks Juan Estevez' chauffeur. "Oh no!" says Sofia, as the episode ends.
