At the school, Laura tells Vero and Toño that they all
need to meet together because there is an issue with Ernesto. Vero reminds Toño
that she has told him that he always needs to be attentive toward the children,
but Toño wants to know if she told him before or after their break. As they argue,
Laura tries to get their attention until she raises her voice and tells them
that marital problems do tend to affect children, but that is not the cause of the
problem she wants to talk about. They have noticed that Ernesto may have an
attention deficit; though it still needs to be confirmed with a child
psychiatrist. Laura can refer them to a
psychiatrist, but she wants Vero and Toño to discuss everything that they are
going to talk about amongst themselves.
At the repair shop. Nerón is setting up a Christmas tree
when Pablo arrives with a big smile. He just picked up his paperwork and is now
waiting for them to send him his notice. Nerón congratulates him and is glad
that he will be in Mexico legally. When Pablo tells him that he took longer
because he went to pick up his book, Nerón is happy that he will soon finish
his schooling too.
Pablo then asks Nerón if he knows anything about Lili
since he only goes to the cul-de-sac hurriedly so no one will see him; so Nerón
tells him that she is just about the same as he is. Nerón hardly sees anyone
since he is now consulting with Logatoys and then comes straight to the repair
shop. What Nerón does know is that now with the two jobs, he is doing well with
his plan to leave his family in good hands. When Pablo asks what plan he is
talking about, Nerón hesitates and is saved from answering by Robledo who has
come by. As Nerón and Robledo greet and hug each other, Pablo remains pensive.
At the school, Vero tells Toño that she can’t believe
what is happening with Neto as they leave the school. Toño can’t believe she
hadn’t noticed before now since she was supposedly taking care of the kids for
many years. Vero reminds him that the kids did not live with her alone; and he
is the one who has been taking care of them recently. If he, who spends all his
time at home, hadn’t noticed; she would have certainly not noticed since she
spends all her time at the office…working! After Toño tells her that they won’t
get anything resolved by arguing, he adds that they need to make an appointment
with the specialist and wait to see what she has to say. Vero thinks they need
to share the information with Toño’s mother, since she spends half a day with
the kids, but Toño chides her for talking as if his mother were her mother rather
than her mother-in-law. Toño thinks the situation is serious. His mother is
leaving after Christmas and Vero is taking advantage of her. Vero gets upset
and thinks Toño is jealous because his mother stayed with Vero to help with the
kids…and if he had asked for his mother’s help; she wouldn’t have even come.
Toño retorts that Vero is not that important; when his mother finds out about
the break and that everything is a bust, she will dash back to Sonora.
Veronica disparagingly tells Toño that she now
understands…Toño, on his own, has decided that they will get a divorce. Toño
wonders when he said that; so Vero repeats his words, “The break has gone bust
and everything is worthless.” When she asks what she is supposed to interpret
that as…it certainly doesn’t mean that they have reconciled and they are now a
happy family, Toño responds that she is exaggerating and adding more to their
problems. Vero reminds him that the break was only for a time to think and
evaluate whether they could continue living together; and with what he just
said, that time has come to an end. As Toño repeatedly asks when he said that,
Vero walks away; and Toño continues that the words ‘break’ and ‘divorce’ are
completely different. (Oh Toño, Toño, Toño!) (Wasn't there a similar movie by
that name, with Kamakazi airplanes crashing into warships?)
At Logatoys, Mau practices his Christmas speech for his
employees in front of Renée and Anifer. After they clap, Anifer tells him that
she thinks everyone will like his poem; and Renée thinks they will like it
especially since it comes from his heart…everyone knows that it has been a
difficult year and Mau has worked hard to help the factory move forward. Mau
shares that the success of the Papa/Mama toy along with having Anifer and Renée
make him very happy. When Anifer asks when they will get married, Renée and Mau
fumble their words until Mau says he needs to practice his speech again. Renée
thinks he needs to practice it at least four more times to make sure he gets it
right. Just then, Fabián barges in followed by Falcón and two of his cronies
though Gladys tries to stop them. Gladys tries to tell Mau that she tried to
stop them, but Mau thanks and excuses her. After Mau asks what they are doing
there, Fabián hisses that Falcón is there to claim his rights as an associate.
When Mau reminds him that the Papa/Mama toy belongs to him and Anifer and runs
them off, Mau adds that he has evidence that Fabián committed fraud and that
Falcón was his accomplice. Fabián goes behind Anifer and swings her as he tells
Mau, “Do whatever you want; I have nothing to lose. The one who can lose the
most valuable thing he has is you, not me.”
Mau tells him not to dare open his mouth, but Fabián responds
that if Mau doesn’t want others to hear what he has to say, they should speak
alone; so Mau tells Renée and Anifer to wait outside. After everyone leaves,
Fabián sits smugly as he smirks.
At Nerón’s house, Flor walks around admiring the Christmas
decorations. When Nerón comes out of their room, Flor tells him she is very
excited because this is the first time she gets invited to an event as a first
lady. (Careful, Flor, one look at your wardrobe and somebody could take that as
'Off The Clock') After Pablo arrives and
tells them they can go ahead and leave, Nerón goes off to look for his tie.
When he is out of sight, Flor tells Pablo that she forgot to tell Nerón that
Robledo had called. It was nothing urgent, but she doensn’t like to eat up
messages…she might gain wait! When Pablo asks if she has met Robledo, Flor
tells him she hasn’t, but Nerón is always talking about him and is set on her
meeting him…he is even going to come spend Christmas with them! Pablo then asks
how Nerón’s health is because he has overheard him talking with Robledo. As far
as Flor knows, all the results were good. When she tells Pablo not to scare
her, Pablo tells her he heard a couple of things, but he may have heard wrong
so she shouldn’t pay him any attention. Nerón then comes out so Pablo goes to
another room. Flor tells Nerón that now that they are alone, she wants him to
be honest and tell her if there is something wrong with him…is he having health
problems? Nerón makes light of it, but Flor tells him not to be joking around
and asks if he is keeping something from her.
Nerón avoids the question and tells her they need to leave,
but Flor pushes him to sit down and tells him they aren’t going anywhere until
he tells her what is going on.
At Logatoys, Mau chides Fabián for being hateful, resentful
and predictable. Mau knew he would come with his little friend, Falcón, when
things got better at the factory. Fabián mockingly tells him he just came to
congratulate him for his success; he never thought his Papa/Mama toy would be
such a success. When Mau tells him he is tired of his ironic comments and tells
him he is going to send him to jail, Fabián wonders if Mau really thinks he can
threaten him, especially with all he knows about Mau…and about Anifer. Mau
tells Fabián to leave Anifer out it…she has nothing to do with their affairs,
but Fabián retorts that Anifer definitely is involved since she carries Mau’s
last name…though not his blood. Fabián then adds that he has come with a
proposition…with all good intentions; he will keep quiet about Anifer being his
daughter…not Mau’s, but Mau has to give him something in return—nothing
important, just his factory! Mau reminds him that he can’t sell the factory as
written in his father’s testament, but Fabián doesn’t want him to sell him the
factory since he knows very well what the clause states. Fabián just wants Mau
to step aside and give him control of the factory…or to give it to him as a
gift…whatever he wants to call it; this is what he wants…or the whole world
will know that Anifer is his (Fabián’s) daughter. (Ten reasons ago you had
enough reasons to kill him. Hire it out to be safe.)
At Nerón’s house, Nerón curses Pablo and tells Flor he is
going to give him an earful…he doesn’t care for Pablo going around tattling.
Flor demands to know the truth about the tests he went for, but Nerón tells her
it was just some tests the doctor asked for…nothing to worry about. When she
tells him she wants to see the results, Nerón tells her that won’t be
possible…because he hasn’t gone for them. Flor then goes off on one of her
verbal rampages and tells Nerón he just doesn’t want to know if he is sick; if
he is sick the doctor will treat him. Nerón gets frustrated and tells her to
stop; whatever happens he already knows how he is going to make sure she and
Milady are protected...they will lack nothing. As she helps him with his tie,
Flor tells Nerón that he needs to go for the results. They will go early
tomorrow morning for the results and she wants no lip from him!
At Logatoys, Mau can’t even think of a word to describe
Fabián… he is…mean…and never ceases to surprise him; he is worse than Mau could
imagine. Fabian responds, “Say whatever you want, but if you give up Anifer,
you will end up in jail for pretending to be her father…and at the same time,
you would make her look like the victim.” Mau replies, “Do you think I am
capable of giving up my daughter? I am not trash like you.” Fabián laughs
mockingly and tells Mau, “I am putting the cards on the table. I assure you
that Anifer’s life at my side would be everything, but pretty. You said it
yourself; I am a mean person…I am trash. Imagine the future your dwarf would
have! So now you know; if you don’t want your daughter ending up being trash,
like me, give me the factory. If you have to think about it, make it fast.” As
Fabián is about to exit, Mau says, “I have nothing to think about;” and Fabián
turns in disbelief… (OK, Mau, your phone, or the security cameras, or Renee, or
Gladys, or Renee's robot, something...is recording this, right?)
Outside in the lobby, Anifer comments that her dad is
taking long and wonders why they have to wait. Renée explains that Mau probably
had some things to talk about with Fabián and didn’t want to bore them with
work things. When Anifer asks Renée if she thinks Fabián is bad, Renée doesn’t
know what to tell her and wonders why Anifer asks that; so Anifer responds that
Fabián is strange and is always angry. When Renée tells her that some people
just have an angry face and others have nice face…but that doesn’t mean that
they are really that way, she adds that Anifer shouldn’t judge people by the
way they look. Just then, Renée sees Fabián leaving, so she tells Anifer to
wait there while she goes to talk to Mau.
In his office, Mau is torn with his decision… (DIY or
hire a hitman?)
But as Renée walks in, he puts on a smile and tells her,
“Everything is fine. I just needed to come to an agreement with Fabián about
his dismissal. You know…things…” After Renée wonders if he is being honest,
Gladys rushes in and tells Mau that everyone is arriving. After Gladys leaves,
Renée looks at Mau and soothingly caresses him; so Mau asks her if they can
talk later…Renée nods.
In her suite, Kika tells Jorge that she doesn’t know how
they ended up together. When she asks for Jorge’s opinion, Jorge would rather
not think about those situations, but Kika thinks it would be healthy to talk
about it. She wonders if he has had a good time with this Venezuelan candy, so
Jorge assures her he has…it had been years since he had such a good time. Kika
is surprised to hear him say “years’ since he had been married until recently.
When she asks if he and his wife had a terrible time in bed, Jorge admits that
it was bad, but wants her to kiss him because she is driving him crazy…so she
obliges…(Jorge makes a mental note to see if Amazon carries Duluth’s when he
gets home.)
Just then, Jorge’s phone rings and he realizes it is very
late. He won’t have time to go pick up his kids and then go to Logatoys. After
he answers, Valentina tells him that she has left several messages and wonders
where he is; so Jorge tells her he is on the road (as his nose grows longer);
he will be there soon. After he hangs up. Jorge tells Kika he has to leave, but
hopes to see her soon. Kika tells him he should take advantage of the time she
has in Mexico and asks him to stay a few more minutes as she kisses, but Jorge
tells her he can’t…well maybe a few minutes…
At Veronica’s house, Esperanza and the kids are at the table
as Veronica and Toño are standing away from them. Veronica doesn’t want to be
rude, but she doesn’t think there is any point in going with them. Toño tells
her to do whatever she wants; he is going with the kids…he invited his mother,
but doesn’t know if she wants to go. Veronica then starts walking toward the
kids and tells Toño that she will call the specialist tomorrow for an
appointment; they can’t let too much time pass before taking Neto to the
doctor. Tania overhears and wonders why they are taking Neto to the doctor and
wonders if there is something wrong with him; so Toño assures her there is
nothing wrong. When Toño tells the kids that he just has to get his keys, Neto
asks him why he is living elsewhere and wonders if he doesn’t want to live with
them anymore. Veronica interjects that they had already discussed that; their
father is not living at home, but he is living with Rodrigo and Rafa…and he is
close by for whenever they need him. Esperanza then adds that is the way things
are; the parents are adults who know what they are doing (really?)…and the
children shouldn’t be asking questions. Toño asks Esperanza if she will be
going with them to Logatoys, but she refuses and tells them to go. Toño then
turns to Vero and asks her, but she turns her face and walks away. After Toño
follows her, Neto asks Esperanza if they can change the station because it is very
boring, but Esperanza tells them to settle down and turns up the volume.
At Jorge’s house, the kids wait for Jorge to come pick them
up. Valentina talks about past events at Logatoys and how they used to give
toys to children under 13 years of age. Lili seems bored and Samuel comments
that he used to like going, but now…not so much. Baldo kids Samuel that he
probably still likes it and doesn’t want to admit it. Just then, Jorge comes in
all disheveled and rushes them to get in the car. Baldo wonders if Jorge is
going to go all disheveled and asks if he shouldn’t spruce up a bit. Jorge
tells them that he had the window open and how he looks doesn’t matter; they
need to hurry. When Lili questions if they all have to go, Jorge gives his
little speech about the family code and spending time together. After he
repeats that they should go now, the kids just sit and stare with long faces;
so Jorge tells them that if they are going to have such long faces, they might
as well stay home. Baldo thinks that Jorge is backing down and that no one at
his job knows that they are his children. So Jorge orders all of them to the
car. (Well, Jorg's losing his virginity ,which seemed to have grown back,
hasn't changed much of anything positively for the kids.)
At Logatoys, Gladys is walking around making sure that
everyone is comfortable. Jorge walks in with the kids and goes to Toño commenting
about the excessive decorations. After Toño tells Jorge that he arrived just in
time for the Christmas speech, Mau gets up and thanks everyone for joining him
in making this toast. He also thanks everyone for helping to make the business
a success…without them this could not have happened. After everyone claps, Mau
thanks Renée, who helped him ground himself and whom he loves so much; then he
thanks Anifer, his beloved and adored child. When he adds that Anifer is his
anchor, his motor, his heaven, his universe and his stars, Anifer tells him,
“Enough! Tone it down, papa!” He then addresses the employees and tells them,
“You all know that in previous years, I would be accompanied to this event with
anohter type of chicks…but now I have the honor of having with me the two women
of my life.” After everyone applauds, Mau continues, “I also want to show my
appreciation for those who had the patience to live through the bad times…such
as Jorge Turrubiartes (he said JORGE! Jorge is shocked and didn’t realize he
was talking about him!) or to wait for the opportunity to return, like Nerón
and Antonio among others. But what I am most grateful for is your trust. Thanks
to them and everyone, Logatoys survived the crisis and we can look to the
future with optimism. That is why…maybe…it is time to change..to initiate a new
adventure. That is why, I am taking this opportunity of the Christmas holiday
to announce that…(Mau pauses) I am going to sell Logatoys to Mr. Falcón!”
Everyone flips out…(andy TV flipped upside down for a second!).
Mau asks, “Isn’t that great news?” as Renée and Anifer
look at him questioningly. (And the whole world answers with one voice...NO!)
At the Carbajal home, Fabián tells his father that they
did it. He came to an agreement with Mauricio. Mau will announce that he is
going to sell the factory to Falcón; that way they can avoid any explanations.
Falcón explains that no one would have believed that Mau would sell the factory
to Fabián since their relationship ended so badly, but Noe shouldn’t worry…the
factory is theirs; he will leave it in their hands…in return for practically
nothing. As Fabián tells his father that he offered Falcón a piece of the pie
so he can regain his capital, Noe turns away, but Fabián continues to tell
Falcón that it doesn’t mean his work is finished; they still need him at
Logatoys for a while. When Falcón questions why he would have to stay, Fabián
orders him not to complain and to be grateful that they are allowing him to be
a part of this. Noe remains silent, but doesn’t seem content.
At Logatoys, Mau tells everyone that everything has been said
and asks for requests…what should he sing? After he urges them to sing with
him, Toño asks, “You’re going to sell now that the company is doing well? That
doesn’t make sense.” Nerón adds, “For sure that man, Falcón, will kick us to
the curb, right?” Mau tells them that no one mentioned running anyone off…and
with what Falcón will pay him, he is going to establish a new
factory….something modern…super cool! When he adds that things will be better,
Jorge comments that things could be better…or they could be worse. Mau tells
tehm to consider this a great opportunity for everyone. Renée then steps up and
suggests that they all hold up their glasses and make a toast, “I toast that
this era will be new beginnings for everyone…because we learn from the
experiences that life gives us, that we not repeat mistakes, and that the
people we love will be with us…and that, every day, we be better persons.” As
everyone toasts, Anifer tugs on Renée and asks her why her father wants to sell
the factory, but Renée doesn’t know; so she tells Anifer to go play with
Fidelito and Neto. They can talk to her father later. After Anifer leaves,
Renée asks to talk to Mau and he agrees. Meanwhile, Toño and the others wonder what is going to happen after this, but Jorge
tells them that he doubts that this can happen. Once Renée and Mau are alone,
Renée asks Mau, “Why hadn’t you told me about this? Where did you get the idea
to sell the business?” Mau replies, “I don’t know…they made me the offer and I
told myself that it’s Christmastime; let’s make a life change…let’s do
something completely different and be happy.” Renée responds that she thought
that they were already happy and wonders if it is a question of money…because
she really doesn’t understand him, but Mau denies that it was because of money.
He doesn’t know how to explain to her…it was his desire to be free. He felt
trapped and he had the option right in front of him. Renée can’t explain it,
but she does not believe him. Mau then tells her that there doesn’t have to be
an explanation; it is simply the best thing for everyone…beginning with Anifer.
When Mau asks her to trust him and tells her that he will explain it some other
day, Renée tells him that she will be uneasy. If he doesn’t want to tell her,
that’s fine, but he knows how she is; she won’t rest until she finds out on her
own. Mau does know how she is and that is why he is telling her that they can
talk some other day. Just then, Jorge walks up and tells Mau that he doesn’t
understand what just happened. When he asks Mau if he has forgotten about the
clause in his father’s testament, Mau tells him that Fabián helped him find a
loophole. Jorge responds that, as his attorney, he is advising him that he
cannot sell Logatoys. Mau tells Jorge that they should stop talking about work
and enjoy the celebration. He suggest that Jorge go have fun, be with his kids,
and look for a girlfriend…he should do something to help him have a very merry
Christmas. (He doesn't notice that Jorge smells like Victoria's Secret rather than
Old Spice.)
The
Next Day…
Fabián slithers into Mau’s office and sits at Mau’s desk
as Mau glares at him.
Fabián tells Mau that as soon as his attorneys finish the
second part of the contract, he will let him know. Once he gets some of the
money, Mau can go on a vacation…which is what he really wants to do. Mau chides
Fabián for pretending to know him; he has no idea what he wants. Fabián smugly
tells him not to talk to him like that; they have always been friends and there
is no reason to end things so badly. When Mau asks Fabián to promise that he
will retain all the employees, Fabián responds that Mau is in no position to
set conditions, but Mau assures him that it is not a condition; it is a favor.
When Mau adds that it is for old time’s sake…for his father and Fabián’s
father, Fabián hisses that he not dare mention their fathers. Fabián then
changes his tone and, as he leaves, he tells Mau that he wouldn’t be able to
find any people experienced in toy-making other than at Logatoys. After Fabián
slithers out, Jorge arrives and asks Mau what Fabián was doing there…he doesn’t
understand. Mau tells him that he doesn’t have to understand; Fabián was there just
to help with the roll over to Falcón. Jorge questions how Mau can accept advice
from ‘that one;’ the one who said he was his friend and who was swindling him
for years. Jorge then tells Mau that he has been investigating Fabián and
shoves all the evidence in Mau’s hands; it shows all the money Fabián was
stealing for all these years. As Mau turns away to look at the documentation,
Jorge sees some documents on Mau’s desk. Though Mau tells him to put the folder
down, it’s TOO LATE! Jorge questions why Mau is giving up the company to
Fabián…or rather he is not giving it up, it’s more like he is giving it to him
as a gift! When Mau tells Jorge that it is for his daughter, Jorge yells that
he does not understand…and no one will understand it! Mau then tells Jorge that
he has to catch up with Fabián because he forgot to tell him something.
At her job, Veronica is on the phone with Toño and asks
how things went at the reception. Toño tells her that he doesn’t know why there
was a reception since things are not such that would call for a celebration,
but it’s better to have problems at Logatoys than not having a job at all.
Veronica then tells Toño that she has already made the appointment with the
psychiatrist for tomorrow afternoon. Toño chides her for making an appointment
without telling Neto anything…they will just proclaim him sick and off he’ll go
to the looney bin. Veronica reminds him that they had already agreed to this,
but Toño isn’t convinced about it. When he reminds her that they are supposed
to leave for Sonora tomorrow with his mother, Veronica does remember but
comments that during the holiday season, appointments are scarce with the type
of doctor that was recommended. Toño complains that she didn’t talk to him
about it first; they will have to cancel the tickets and talk to Neto about why
they are canceling their vacation and taking him to a doctor’s office when his
son doesn’t even know that he needs a doctor.
At Veronica’s house, Esperanza compliments Fidelito and
Tania on their drawings and tells them she will miss them. When the kids
question why she is leaving and who will take care of them, Esperanza tells
them not to worry; their parents will take care of them. Esperanza has to go
home and take care of her big kid, their grandfather. Esperanza then asks Neto
what he drew; so he tells her it is a rocket because when he grows up, he wants
to go to the moon, but Esperanza reminds him that she told them to draw for a
Christmas card. When she asks if he wasn’t listening, Neto responds that he
heard her, but he forgot.
At the repair shop, Flor reminds Nerón, who is messing
around with the Christmas lights, that they are to go for the results of his
tests; and he is being a clown about it. Nerón tells her he still has to go to
Logatoys to see what is going on with the chaos the owner caused. Flor insists
that going to the doctor is more important than fixing Christmas lights, but
Nerón makes more excuses to not go. When Flor tells him she is going to get
really angry, Nerón assures her that he will go later, but Flor chides him for
acting like a child; so Nerón promises he will go later and rushes off. (Nerón,
nobody actually ever died directly of plain old stupidity. What are you worried
about?)
At Logatoys, Mau catches up to Fabián at his car and demands
to know what happened to María, but Fabián insists she is dead and asks what
Mau thinks he would gain by lying about it. When Fabián comments that it’s what
is best because it wouldn’t be to Mau’s advantage that she be alive, Mau
wonders how Fabián can say such a thing…he is crazy…but Mau doesn’t care; he
just wants the truth because he is tired of all the lies. Fabián tells Mau to
stop his little drama; María was not the woman Mau thinks she was. If Mau wants
to take her flowers, then Fabián can tell him what cemetery she is in and how
to get to her grave. When Mau nods, Fabián tells him to make sure he takes
carnations on his behalf because María liked those. Mau is ambivalent and asks
how he will know that Fabián won’t just give him whatever directions because
this could just be one more of his lies. Fabián tells him, “No le busques tres
patas al gato” (which, literally, means don’t be looking for the cat and trying
to find three feet [when you know there are four]. Figuratively, it means: Don't look for an explanation or a reason when you already
know the truth OR don't try to find a problem that isn't there.) He then adds with a smirk that Mau already has his
little daughter with him…that is what is important to Mau…to have his daughter.
Mau looks at him as if he wants to choke him (and Viewer Ville wishes he would!
How long does it take to have a tombstone engraved and installed?).
Nerón is at the public registry inquiring about writing a
testament. After the man explains what he needs to do, Nerón tells him he is
not worried about his sons who are grown already; he is worried about his Flor
and his daughter. When he tells the man that he might die if he waits too long
to make the testament, the man insists that Nerón make a list, think about how
he is going to divide up his assets, then come back later.
At Mau’s house, Anifer is excited that Mau is finally
going to take her (to visit her mother’s grave). Mau has everything ready to
take her early in the morning. Anifer thanks him with a hug and says that she
would really like to talk to her mother. When she asks Renée if she is also
going with them, Renée responds “no;” she will wait for them there, but
promises that the three of them will go together some day. Anifer thinks her
mother would really like for her to go with them; so Renée explains that this
is the first time Anifer will go see her mother and it will be a very special
moment. She thinks it would be best that only she and her father go. After
Anifer leaves to go pick out what she will wear to go to San Crispín, Renée
shares with Mau that last night she wanted to talk to him about his decision
regarding Logatoys, but she understands if he still doesn’t want to talk about
it. What she would like to know about is the new project he mentioned; she
would like to help him with that. Mau tells her that they can talk about it
after his trip…and since they are talking about trips, Mau asks about her
mastery program since there are only two months left, or less, before she
leaves. Renée assures him that just because they will be far apart, they won’t
need to end their relationship; they can talk on the phone or through
Facetime…she can come visit or they can go visit her. When she tells him she
won’t be gone for the rest of her life, Mau tells her it won’t be the same.
They can talk through Facetime, but he won’t be able to hug her…or kiss her
like this…
Renée tells him to stop being a clown. She knows that he
is being romantic to keep her from asking questions. Mau remarks that he is
incapable of using his multiple charms for that ….and he continues to kiss her…
At his home, Nerón is making the list of his assets and
what he will leave to Flor and Milady. As Flor comes in, Nerón throws his
notepad under the table. Flor notices, but asks him if he went to get the
results of his tests. After Nerón tells her he didn’t have time, Flor scolds
him and tells him to go wash his hands. After he leaves, Flor darts under the
table and gets the notepad. When she sees that he is writing a testament, Flor
realizes that Nerón really thinks he is going to die…and that the executor of
the testament will be Mr. Robledo! (Is this a self-fulfilling prophecy? Because
Flor may very well kill him now.)
