I was thinking with Hilda working on Calvo, and Alberio working on Diabla, surely they will turn themselves in, no?

I guess Martin and his food truck are regulars, where is it he is parked, is it outside Jota's? of course he must be on the lookout for Mariana, curse and all.

Chalo is a psycho, how did he ever get to be the top capo, and why does he think he owns Diabla, he wasn't hitting on Daniela this go round, and Albeiro and the baby, what's this all about, Diabla gets warned not to return, and her guys get the usual, Albeiro dies, you die.

Chalo is behaving like a fairly typical TN baddie. They burn with lust for (usually the heroine; in this case the anti-heroine) some beauty and are insane with jealousy about any rival.

Many thanks, deb, for your comments/questions on last night's episode. I've been out almost every night this week (and will be again tonight). Last night I watched two or three episodes in a row. I can't recall what happened in which episode.
So why is CataG playing up to Titi? At first, I thought this was part of the plan to capture him, but since she's not wearing any kind of tracking device and had a hood over her head as she was driven to his estate, no one will be able to find Titi (or her, for that matter).
I've always thought it was ludicrous for Telemundo to show all kinds of violence and yet bleep curse words, but I think last night they did something even sillier. I think Diabla gave Chalo the finger as she walked away from him, but her hand was blurred out!
So missing the adrenaline rush is reason enough for Calvo to agree to kill Hilda (whom he claims to love) in order to work for Diabla??
Was it Chalo who goes into Diabla's sacred space and sees Daniela with her beauty crown? And was it Chalo who then claims that Diabla is crazy? He's right, of course, but talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

So does the fact that we haven't seen Martin kill Vale possibly mean that he hasn't done so (and the meat pies or whatever are to make us fear the worst), or that he has done so and he's selling ValeBurgers?

Juanita, I'm glad to hear you're hanging in. I'm also hanging on by my fingernails. The comments most of us have for this novela perfectly fit a word I needed to look up in a novel we're reading for my Spanish class: sorna, which means sarcastic or con sorna describing how a person speaks who is saying something like: "Of course that man you're dating who seems to have a white line on the third finger of his left hand isn't married."
I'm unclear whether Calvo is just trying to get away from Yésica with a whole skin or whether he wants back in the thug life enough to actually attempt to kill Hilda. I doubt they're going to kill her off so that's why I say "attempt".

I can't figure out CataG's strategy either. I think perhaps she planned to sleep with him and then say she had to talk to her children, thus getting out of there and knowing where the palacio is. But the whole thing doesn't make sense because the plan to storm his place was to be the same day she was taken there. And I have no idea how the cops can find the place.

well Calvo came through for Diabla, 12 men and 2 trucks, in exchange for sparing Hilda.
after an interesting standoff, Chalo and his guys are dead.
on the other side of the world, Cata G gets Titi to man up and show her he can drink non-stop and still perform like he used to, old man Titi passes out and Cata searches his room for evidence, (what more do they need), did she find a pic of where Martina (Paola's daughter) is buried or is it just some drug stuff, some younger pics of herself, some bank records, then calls her Jefe, she has Tony promise to go to her house and protect Mariana, the plan is once she escapes her Jefe will come to get her with a small army, Titi's guy is suspicious and is waiting outside the door, not to worry, Cata is 007.
Liset is sad, but Cata M whisks Hernan away to take her and Sandra to see the baby, while Sandra gives Mariana a present, Cata M burbs the baby and stashes the cloth.
it was a bloody day, and at first chance Calvo checks in with Hilda, she asks a favor of him, don't ever come back.
on to other things, Calvo asks about Pig, and, discovers Albeiro is alive, ut oh, but Diabla doesn't kill him, he is escorted to his new digs in the stables.
time for family but Diabla can only resound with a QUE? (Chalo had Daniela incinerated)

Thanks for the recap, Deb. I really enjoyed this episode. I find Yesica fascinating, from her unique fashion choices to her calm cold-bloodedness. She's one of the few smart people on the show, most of the others are dummies, such as Miguel, Hernan, CataG, Santiago, y muchas más. Hilda showed she's not so dumb by recognizing that Calvo was NOT just picking up lots of taxi customers, and telling him he's done. Mariana is pretty sharp to not trust CataM, although it appears that CataM did get that DNA sample from CataP. Normally, I would say this will not work, but the show seems to be moving along at such a breakneck pace (did someone say there might only be 30 or so episodes?), that maybe she WILL find out the baby isn't Hernan/Nacho's.
So Calvo is a bit screwed, now that he's learned that Albeiro is alive, that Yesica knew he wanted to have Al killed, and that Hilda's giving him the cold shoulder.
Interesting how CataG had told Miguel she did not want a bug on her, because as soon as she arrived, Titi's men would search her. But they didn't. So a bug would have been good. She apparently is allowed her cellphone, though, and didn't Tony say they could find her by GPS? Maybe not. Okay, she took pictures of Titi's stuff, why can't she send them by her phone to Miguel?? Hmmmm.
BTW, CataG looked really awesome in her swimsuit. I know a bunch of our female posters have a thing for Albeiro (with good reason), so I'll admit I'm watching this show in good part because of Carmen Villalobos (although I still think her character is not the sharpest.
That Dayana is so bad, criticizing her Mom's faith, saying only money matters, and blaming her Mom that Liset is such a pain to not willingly sell her body.
I think last season, Chalo avoided getting killed by Titi by having his double killed, then changing his appearance by plastic surgery. He didn't look quite so astute this time.

So Calvo is a bit screwed, now that he's learned that Albeiro is alive, that Yesica knew he wanted to have Al killed, and that Hilda's giving him the cold shoulder.
Interesting how CataG had told Miguel she did not want a bug on her, because as soon as she arrived, Titi's men would search her. But they didn't. So a bug would have been good. She apparently is allowed her cellphone, though, and didn't Tony say they could find her by GPS? Maybe not. Okay, she took pictures of Titi's stuff, why can't she send them by her phone to Miguel?? Hmmmm.
BTW, CataG looked really awesome in her swimsuit. I know a bunch of our female posters have a thing for Albeiro (with good reason), so I'll admit I'm watching this show in good part because of Carmen Villalobos (although I still think her character is not the sharpest.
That Dayana is so bad, criticizing her Mom's faith, saying only money matters, and blaming her Mom that Liset is such a pain to not willingly sell her body.
I think last season, Chalo avoided getting killed by Titi by having his double killed, then changing his appearance by plastic surgery. He didn't look quite so astute this time.

the rumor is 40 or so episodes, from Gregorio Pernia (Titi), short but exciting as he put it, so we may be coming up on the halfway point.
season 1, which I think you said you didn't see, really was made in the Sin Senos No tradition, Hernan Dario went from an innocent delivery boy to a gun packing sicario, he was even sent to kill a guy, which he did, he really was so cool and Cata M's man, together they took on Diabla, and beat her, but since Carmen Villalobos walked on to the set they really have dumbed down the kids.
yep, Tony wanted to get Cata's gps, but family first and he was sent to protect Mari, I think Cata did say something about Titi having the wi-fi blocked as if that explains things, she said she would send the pics to Miguel 'after' she was out (not a good sign).
when Diabla shows up with Calvo, Chalo immediately wants to know who this guy is, is she supposed to have an all girl gang?
Dayana sure is... how about earlier when she was sitting close to the hooded Cata G, looking, sniffing, drooling.

"Senora Acero 5", began filming in Mexico last week, (I seem to remember an earlier story where Carolina Miranda (Vicenta) was injured practicing a horse riding stunt for this)
"El Señor de los Cielos 6", Matías Novoa (Daniel, from "Enemigo Intimo") will be joining the cast monday a week, no word on there being another season for Enemigo.
Carmen Aub (Rutila) and a few others have been suspended by Telemundo.

Mi Familia Perfecta
I've been watching this, and it would be a pretty good novela if not for the violence that can't be ignored.
I'm really impressed with Natasha Domínguez (Ashley) who plays an addict desperately trying to make things go right and failing miserably, hard to watch.
that said even though this show is in 'capitulos finales' nothing is wrapping up and I see nothing as yet that may follow it.
