Whoa Mike walks in on Pene as she is getting dressed for work. They are arguing about her talking with Simon and Mike thinks her admission that her steppig was not a suicide is almost a confession. Later, Mike told Pene that Omar is BBB's brother.

JP tells Simon about Rick's not liking that he is seeing Bella. JP gives him a folder on Horacio. Simon wants to know what he's doing with that since Horacio was a criminal and was involved in many crimes. Why is he still investigating if the case is closed. Felix reminds Oscar that there are still a few loose ends which must be tied up neatly case closed or not.

Bela is at work with BBB and Pene walks in and gets an ass chewing for being late. BBB gets after Pene for being late so she fires her. Bella takes responsibility since she hired her. BBB insists that Pene be fired. She tells Bella to look for someone else because that one is no good.

Em&Em at the Luuurve cabin and she is working her charms on him for some reason. Eman thinks that Emi looks like an angel when she sleeps. Did you wake up with slobber on you Emi?

JP and Simon arguing again. Are these two going out? Simon thinks that JP is wasting his time on the Horace case. JP tells him that he is the one that convinced him that Bella might be involved…and also that Pene was involved with the suicide. Simon tells him that he was mistaken; it was just assumptions of his. JP insists that if there are loose ends then the case will remain open for him.

Bela finally gets alone with Pene. Pene tell Bela that she's on her own now, but Bella says that she needs her. Bella tells BBB that Penny's family depends on her and thinks that Pene might not be good for the dealership but she might be good for Madame girls.
Then Pene has to go talk to BBB herself.

Bela, Mike, and Pene at home now. They tell Mike that Penny is now one of the Madame girls. After they listen to the recording of BBB lashing out at Omar, they wonder why the Madame has two siblings working as servants for her.

BBB with Omar and three men at home who she has hired as security. After they leave she tells Omar to stay for a minute.   BBB questions Omar as to why he's giving Leonor ideas. BBB keeps bashing him and telling him that no one will hire him as an ex-con or Lenore as a deformed woman. Move over Horacio and save her a nice warm spot.

JP and Simon are still on their seesaw of case closed/case open when Ric comes in and asks for the file on Horace. He tells him to follow up on the girl that found the bus driver and went to find the bodies. Simon tries to get out of it, but Rick says that since JP insists that there's loose ends, they need to follow up. Oscar stomps Felix's foot under the table?

OMG Em&Em at the cabin and she is being soooo sweet to the pig. Why does he have on a full suit? Emilia tells Eman about some video that someone made of her and it went viral. Now she wants Eman to tell her something about himself.
 

He tells her about some informant that he had serval years ago and then how he had made a mistake. The informant, in the flashback, mentions that Castor was the one that messed up, but Eman still had no option but to kill him. If that doesn't warm her up, tell her how you volunteer at the humane society on weekends and all those sweet kittens.

Ric. Simon and JP again. Ric wants to know why there is a picture of Bella in Horacio's folder. JP told him that they think that Bella and Pene are involved somehow in Horace’s death.

Bela, Mike, and Pene listen in on BBB and Omar at her house from the batcave as JP and Simon pay a night time visit, but take time out outside to argue. JP wants to know why Simon changed his mind about Pene. JP can't believe that Simon just woke up and had a change of heart. Simon says the man committed suicide. JP gets a slurpy welcome as Simon looks on. JP and Bela are still arguing because he is still investigating Horacio's death. He wants to know who the girl was that got involved with Horace. Bella doesn't know. Bella assures him that she is not involved. Well...Not any more you little angel, your work is done when they stop breathing. Meanwhile, Simon is with Pene and tells her that he won’t say anything about what she told him regarding Pedro’s (non)suicide.

Eman still talking to Emi and hopes that what he told her didn't change her mind about him. Emi tells him that there's something about him that reminds her very much of her father. Emi doesn't care what the people say she knows that her father was a great man. Emi likes the way she feels when she is with him.

Simon tells Pene that he knows the limitations of the justice system in the country. He says it doesn't matter whether Pedro committed suicide or not. What he wants to do is get closer to Pene. Hell, he might even leave Oscar for her.

Pene tells Simon that he is her friend and he gets a big smile. Mike is in the bat cave listening to all this.

BBB in her pjs on the phone talking to someone about returning a favor.

Emi must have decided to seduce Eman, no, wait, well, maybe not, she looks to be having second thoughts now. Who Cares anyway. Just text us Emi and let us know what you decided.

JP and Simon continue as the Odd Couple ... as Ric walks in and tells them that the witness didn't recognize either of the two girls.. He warns JP the next time he involves Bella in one of his investigations he better watch it.

Bela the manager is selling some fellow a car as we see Pene in the background in SHORT SHORTS? Pene tells her that BBB wants to talk to her. Bela goes in to talk it over with BBB who is almost nude from the waist up. Her hair must smell like the fires in California.

Bella tells BBB that she just sold seven of the most expensive cars in the car lot. BBB wants to train her to be the best sales person that she could imagine. She has the attitude that's needed. BBB goes on and on and then tells Bella that she wants her to put everything that she's taught her into practice.

 

Former employees and attorney come in to talk to BBB, good luck. BBB tells them that they weren't fired; they walked out on the job. That's why she had to hire new people because the former employees wanted to sabotage her business. She says that she is the victim.

Appears to be next morn and Eman is sans suit, but Emi still wearing her red baby doll.
Having cookies and small talk for breakfast. Emi wants to know if Manny has been sleeping alone for a long time. She thinks it's strange that a man like him, so powerful, has no one to share his bed with. She wonders if someone cheated on him. Eman just wants to find someone special. Like a blow up stick figure?

BBB &Bela look down on the showroom as former employees talk. Bela questions BBB about not taking responsibility for firing the people. BBB says that they're asking for too much money.

Pene goes in to BBB for her hooker interview looking like a....hooker. BBB tells Pene about the job. They will set her up with millionaires who will provide nice clothes, cars, trips etc. Pene assumes then she would have to pay for all of that with sex…and says that instead of an escort she would be a prostitute. BBB tells her that it's up to her…it's her decision about paying for sex.

Pene and Bela talking on phone, Bela in a showroom car, and Pene walking around looking like a hooker. She tells her that she's got a month probation on the new job. When she tells her that she doesn't plan on sleeping with anybody, Bela complains about BBB and how she isn't taking responsibility for the people she fired. They even think that Bella is an accomplice. Bella needs Penny to get some information; she needs to make friends with one of the girls who works closely with BBB.

JP and Simon—Simon insists that the case is closed, but JP again insists that not until all the loose ends are cleared up. JP and Simon do some investigating and come up with the Madame girls as the mystery girls involved in the Horacio case. Hmmm…fellows are you half right or half wrong?

Bela at work in her office talking to Mike on phone. Bella asks Mike if they have $2 million handy…she wants to deposit it in Madame's account and then withdraw it. Mike knows someone in the States who might help them with that.

BBB walks in and she has to suddenly start pretending to talk to a customer. BBB wants to continue training Bella so she takes her to THE CASINO ???? She does not know Bela has already scent marked that hangout.

Later, at the casino BBB has some business of a sort she needs Bela to help her with. BBB tells Bella she needs to go put those chips on the table of a man with a blue coat. When she does so, the guy hands her a folder. It has information on a request for cars from the secretary of (something). The girl in red is next; and she gave information on 50 cars that the Senate needs. Bella then takes chips to somebody who works for the senator. He has info on luxury cars that the state of Mexico needs.

JP and Simon call BBB’s sexatary for the name of the girl that was sent to Horace.
 

The receptionist can't give out that information and hangs up on them.

Mike calls someone in English and gets a favor regarding the transferring of money into BBB’s account. Mike then asks Pene about her new job. What is she going to do when one of the clients asks for sex? Can she tell them that she’s still in training? She thinks it'll only take a month to get the information that she needs then she’s outta there. Mike again asked her again what she would do if they asked her for sex. She tells him that if push comes to shove she wouldn't even think about it twice and she wouldn't even charge them a dollar. So put THAT in your pipe and smoke it Mikey.

EM&Em being all homey while she is wearing muy inappropriate clothing. Eman is getting the hint now and chews on her neck, then apologizes…he couldn’t help himself. Emi now has fang marks on her neck, but tells Eman to stop looking at her legs.

Bela in the Mercedes with Omar (I didn't get what that was about)

JP and Simon at dealership as BBB walks in. New girl tells Bela that the cops are here so she puts on her sunglasses from Ebay so they won’t recognize her as she almost walks over him. Oh Gawd, she puts on her sunglass disguise so JP won't recognize her? ALL the people at the beach this weekend must have been spies.

"Steppig", "seesaw of case closed/case" and "She does not know Bela has already scent marked that hangout" were among too many favorites to list.

I could barely watch Em and Emi. He is totally repulsive. I'm not a fan of Emi but I hate to think she will be in his clutches. I had hoped she had more sense but alas she is really only a child.

I was a bit surprised JP admitted that he thinks Bella and Pene may be mixed up in Horacio's murder. Could it be that Simon has more loyalty than JP? I imagine JP is trying to straddle the line between trying to do his job and keeping Bella as his true love. Good luck with that...

So was Pene late on purpose or was that just a misstep. Pene is being thrown to the wolves. She is strong but not strong enough to deal what will be coming her way I fear.

It was refreshing to see actual clients at the dealership which was beginning to look like a mirror image of the empty “Comeback” gym.

I do not enjoy seeing Mike relegated to sitting in a desk chair, brooding over Pene. What a waste. So far, we have not seen any evidence of BBB’s taste in men. Of course, when you are as in love with yourself as she is, perhaps a partner is not needed. Still, if there was anyone to tempt her predatory instincts, my money would be on Mike.

So Bella IS superwoman, selling cars like a seasoned pro. It doesn't appear there is much our girl can't do. Bravo.

You are welcome. I missed a couple things so here they are:

When Mike was quizzing Pene about being an escort, his second question was what if Simon called up and got her as an escort, then asked for sex. And her answer was that SIMON might somehow qualify for a freebie. Or maybe two, or three.?

When Bela and Omar were in BBB's Mercedes SUV she asked him to lunch and he was afraid BBB would get upset since he is supposed to be keeping an eye on the business, but then agreed when Bella told him they wouldn’t take long.

Yeah, a gal who can sell a week's worth of their most expensive cars SHOULD be able to get a date for lunch.

Kirby, Mike was and still is in love with Pene. I wasn't aware he told her he wasn't interested. And yes, it is definitely the green eyed monster. He is seething about Simon...

I think Pene believes he either a) isn't interested or b) is interested but won't make a move. Hence the rubbing salt in the wound.

Don't fret. Although Pene has a new job as an escort or hooker...her choice..? ? she IS removed from the immediate orbit of BBB, and there is where the real danger is. BBB keeps the sex trade at arms length, "knows none of the girls", etc. on purpose to protect herself. This could be a huge safety factor for Pene.

I'm sure BBB has enforcers or some kind of Rent-A-Goon to keep the girls and customers in line, But what we have seen thus far, with a cute receptionist, etc is nothing like that Vermin we saw in Double Life.

Lord help Simon if JP ever gets wind of Pene's side work.

If anybody made sense of the Casino scenes please enlighten me. I saw what was happening, but BBB having Bela scurrying around trading poker chips for the documents was confusing and made NO sense to me.

So, Bela's boxing with JP and Penny's date with Simon was something the girls preferred to do rather than go to work. Both almost got fired. I expected more discipline and dedication.

"The informant, in the flashback, mentions that Castor was the one that messed up" It is worth mentioning that the said informant was no other than Armando Quintero, Emi's father. So he just told her how he murdered her own father in an effort to get her sympathy.
 

Lucio. yup. As he was telling Emi his story, he saw the flashback of him and his motorcycle and him shooting Armie.
I suppose it sounds good to Emilia, not knowing she is hearing about the murder of her Dad, given that without that little tidbit, it sounds like good police work. Sort of, maybe

How Emi could even think about letting him touch her is mind boggling, but then as someone mentioned previously, she's probably thinking of what she can get from him...despite the groping and sickening looks. Lucio, thanks so much for pointing out that it was Armando that Eman was telling Emi about...something else I missed. And right after that, the idiot tells him how much he reminds her of her father and that she feels soooo gooood when she is with him...BLECHHH!!

Kirby, I still worry about Pene being an escort. BBB hired the 3 goons to protect her house. I can just imagine how many goons she has working at "Madame Girls." Someone has to be keeping those girls in line...

Kirby and Lucio, ITA agree about Bella's sales skills...another overnight miracle?? I was also trying to figure out why Bella would want $2 million dollars. She is either going to use it to cover the costs of the cars she told BBB that she had sold OR she may use it to somehow support the fired employees. When she was on the phone with Pene, she told Pene that they were now going to have to try to help the former employees since she didn't speak up for them. Bella thinks that the contact BBB asked for a favor from (which Mike overheard) might be close to the former employee's representative who could help BBB get out of the lawsuit. Bella then told her to get close to one of the girls, Irena?, who happens to be that contact's favorite girl. So there we have another Beanie moment. How does Bella know which girl is close to the contact? Does she know who the contact is???

Lucio, yes, I'm keeping the Beanie list. I've added your Beanie moments plus some others...so yes, this list will definitely be much longer than Steve's body count.

Kirby, the casino thing...I have no idea. The only thing I got out of it was that BBB is paying those contacts to get her deals with governmental entities.

Oh and JudyB, I can definitely relate to the "breathing under water" feeling. It's pretty bad here too. Stay cool and hydrated :-)
 

One more thing...that flashback of Bella's mom's demise brought back to mind an earlier speculation about why Eman is so protective of Bella. I kinda thought he has a thing for Bella, but some one else hinted that Eman might be Bella's bio dad. What a thought! Beautiful warrior princess vs. evil, despicable father!
 

Speaking of weather: : : Our Looney Tunes weather here in Florida is nothing like we humans, animals and plants are accustomed to.

The temperature goes up to mid nineties, then it rains. So far so good. In the past it would be a torrential downpour, like our normal rainy season and the temperature would drop ten to twenty degrees in an instant.

NOW it gets into the nineties and rains just a heavy sprinkle for a minute. It is not enough for the plants, nor does it cool it off a degree. Instead it instantly evaporates and jacks the humidity up to 99.9% It is like it is still raining out there, but the raindrops are suspended forever in midair.

You can almost see the blobs of electricity shooting down the power lines as the Air Conditioning units shift into overdrive trying to wring out the air enough for us to breathe it.
 

OMG then if Eman knocks up Emi, (a forgone conclusion) she could bring forth Bela's half sibling.

Farm Animals would be jealous.

Bella was devastated over her father's murder. As she should have been.

But, it has really been bothering me that I never see or hear Bella hurting for or crying about her mother. As gruesome as her father's murder was, he was a policeman and a terrible possibility when one chooses that line of duty. Bella's mother's death is even more heinous as she was innocent. She and Bella seemed so close.

I say this now in view of your speculation Rgv Chick. Now THAT would be a twist, wouldn't it?? Eman as Bella's father. His interest definitely seems more paternal than predatory, so that would make sense.

And then the moral dilemna you raised Kirby. Would she kill her own father?

As gringo used to say, definitely must see TV.

Emi and Eman are annoying. While I find Eman to be slimey and manipulatong with her.. I feel no empathy for Emi. Yes...she is selfish...indulged and immature but she is not a child. She knows what shes doing....sold drugs...lied about school ....flirts for money...and worships her fathers business dealings. Its one thing to luv a parent despite their short comings but she knows he was a criminal and still praises his negocio and wants to be like him.

In the end she will probably get a pass but not deserving anymore than anyone else whos done bad things.

Diana, I agree that Bella and her mom seemed close, but not as close as Bella was with her father. Most, if not all, of the "flashbacks" (excluding the murder scenes) are of Enrique teaching Bella some type of defense skill. Bella blames the beasts for both her parent's death which is quite understandable; however, the beasts only agreed tot he hit on Enrique. Castor gave Armando the idea to kill the whole family and Armando agreed...that is why Eman killed Armando; and considering the flashback, the killing of Bella's mom affected Eman sufficiently to kill Armando himself instead of sending someone else to do it...this makes it seem very personal.

Nett, "Emi and Eman are annoying" D-I-T-T-O!! I just can't get over how Emi worships her criminal father.

Kirby, "Is he like your spare tire in the trunk, forgotten until you really need him? Then you wish you had paid him a little more attention." That pretty much sums it it up :-) Maybe Leonor will get a repair job and Mike will fall for her....and even if she doesn't, he still might be attracted to her....it's an option. I'm sure helping Leonor will become one of Bella's other side projects.

Chickie, thanks for explaining Eman's motivation for killing Armando personally. It's something I did not understand, but it all makes sense now. Also, if you are keeping up with your list of beanie moments, you might want to start shopping for a new hard drive :-)

I had wondered if Eman could be Bela's father. I don't have a long history with TNs, but I have learned that a 'good father who loves and raises the girl as his own daughter' is always a possiblity. But if either Bela or Eman turns out to have a "rare blood type", I won't be able to stop myself from laughing.

The Big Apple is today a baked, or perhaps steamed, apple.

Andy, the rare blood type would be a hoot! Isn’t that what happened in “Mi Adorable Maldicion?” Did you watch that one? This man was always trying to hurt the protagonist throughout the TN. Turned out he was her bio father and neither he nor the protagonist knew until he had an accident and needed the rare blood type.

BBB is a vile creature who voted to kill Bella’s dad. However, she has not killed anybody herself and she has not sexually abused kids, though she does bully and abuse her grown brother and grown sister. I’m feeling she needs a different punishment from a death penalty, but I can’t think of exactly what.

Diana, ITA "Mike was and still is in love with Pene." I love the chemistry between these two. Mike better speak up and declare himself before Pene becomes Simon's steady. Mike’s trouble started when he got drunk -- that night he answered all Pene’s questions about his lost lady love in Afghanistan -- and ended up giving Pene a sloppy kiss. Pene thought he was kissing her only as a stand-in for his lost lady love. But he’s head over heels for Pene now.

Seems the whole patio agrees on Em and Emi. Just, no.

I don’t get the casino, chips, and luxury cars connection either. Maybe BBB is giving government officials luxury cars in exchange for favors?

Man. the more I think about Eman and Bela the more it makes sense. Even the dumb people suspect it is no coincidence that the criminals who might be connected with her Father's death started dying about the time she came back to town. Emanuel is far from dumb.

He has has decades as her 'GodFather'.
We all have cringed thinking the worst about his interest in Bela, but it has not materialized.
He has not moved to slow her down knowing in his heart what she is up to.
Anyone else as suspect as Bela would already be dead.

If they were both tall and slim with dark hair it would be....Yikes, nevermind. :-)
 

OT: Chickie, yes, that's exactly what happened in Mi Adorable Maldición! The last week or two of that TN was butchered by Univision, but it was funny in a way nonetheless. Every "bad" person who acted against Aurora received a punishment in measure according to his or her offense. Xochi was ostracized and snubbed by Wenceslao, las beatas were impoverished, etc., etc., but the major anvils were reserved for Macrina and Severo. Macrina let Severo know she, not Aurora, was responsible for Carmen's death and then shoots him. Then she burns to death horribly (and we get to watch it for a few minutes); he is rushed to the hospital where he learns that Aurora is his daughter since they share the same "rare blood type" and she donates blood to try to save him despite all the evil things he did to her, and then he lingers close to dying in the hospital remorseful that he did those terrible things to an innocent girl who turns out to be his own daughter... then he dies.

You almost could have made a spreadsheet giving scores to offenses and punishments, and they would have matched up.

I loved at least the first half of that TN, and was in love with doña Apolonia the whole time.

Episode 26, Part 1: BUSTED Bella

JP greets BBB. BBB remembers his dad not so fondly, but she fakes it well as she tells JP that he is the spitting image of his father and that JP was his father’s headache. After JP introduces BBB, aka Madame/Maria Estella to Simon, he tells her he just needs to ask her some questions.

Bella and Omar are having lunch. Omar is nervous and BelMar manages to question him about being in jail.

JP asks BBB about one of the girls at her other business, Madame Girls. He doesn’t know the name; he just knows that Hor used her services. BBB knows exactly who he is talking about.

BelMar uses her charm to get Omar to talk. She knows he’s a good person’ and whatever he did, he must have had good reason or been forced to do it.

BBB can only help JP with the name of the girl…Atanea.

BelMar asks Omar what he did. Omar still nervous and ready to leave, tells her he got rid of a girl who asked too many questions. HINT! HINT! Bella! Whoever went to jail for breaking up with a chick?

Eman & Emi are outside still teasing each other. Emi needs one more thing to make things perfect—She goes inside to get it. Gun? Dagger? Condoms? Weeeeeed. Who knew?

Annoying girl makes a play for Simon and tells him he can just call her anytime. Odd Name don't you think?

BBB tells JP that she only saw Atanea once...at a party. She had never seen Hor like that…almost hypnotized. When she met Atanea at the party, she didn’t know if she was one of her girls or not since BBB doesn’t know all the girls; though she did tell Hor one day before he died that Atanea didn’t work for her. She isn’t sure if Hor ever confronted Atanea about it. JP then tells BBB that he thinks the girl is the same one that killed Castor. BBB almost chokes.

Think JP. This is a TN, not the Justice network with John Walsh. It might be somebody you already know. Afterwards, BBB tells them that someone entered her house some days ago and wonders if it was connected to Hor’s death. When Simon asks if BBB could help with a sketch, BBB agrees.

Pene and Mike talk. He admits that his attitude toward Simon has a justification ...he likes her a lot!! Hallelujah! He finally said it! Pene’s jaw drops to the floor. Just one step away from having an airplane write it in smoke, but now she knows.

Bella calls Eman because she wants to trade in her car and asks if he knows some car agency. He says no, but he asks what kind of car…he might help her get it. Bella tells him to forget about it.

JP offers to help BBB get protection, but she tells them she already hired some goons. When JP asks about other guests at the party so he can question them, BBB evades the question. It's called 'known associates', JP , BBB didn't just fall off the tomato truck.

Pene wants Mike to talk about what he just said. Mike tells her that he usually tells her how he feels when he is drunk. Now he told her in his full capacity, so there, Pene whatcha gonna do? Pene doesn’t know what to say; so Mike tells her he just had to spit it out. He is afraid that a woman would make him vulnerable…and he can’t deal with making a mistake. (Mike secretly longs for a price list from her new job.)

 

Episode 26, Part 2: BUSTED Bella

Bella calls JP. He was busy when she texted...trying to get the goods on her. Bella doesn’t like being upset with him, but it does upset her when he doesn’t believe her. It seems that he questions everything she say. She wants another opportunity to show him that what she tells him is the truth. Or, in Belaspeak, to try once more to make him believe a lie?

Eman goes looking for Emi. She comes out with a joint. When Eman gives a look of disapproval, Emi tells him he should try it…that since he is in his house, he should be able to do anything he wants. Eman refuses again, but then takes a whiff…maybe two or three. What could it posssibly hurt?

Before they leave, JP hopes BBB will change her mind about giving them the names of the other guests. Annoying Girl gives JP and Simon her card and tells Simon to keep it in case he wants to call her. (He already called you...a bunch of things) JP flips his into the air and onto the floor as they walk away.

As Simon and JP walk out, JP sees BelMar who tries to hide by looking away but no dice…he made her! Maybe if she had worn the Groucho Marx nose and eyebrows, she could have gotten away with it. JP is in disbelief; and Bella knows she’s in deep doodoo. Outside, JP asks Simon if he didn’t recognize the girl that was walking in. Nopis, Simon didn’t notice…he’s flippin’ a coin...should I or should I? Nah too annoying!

Bela asks Annoying Girl what the cops were doing there. Annoying Girl doesn’t know and if she did she wouldn’t tell.

Mike and Pene spar… Mike thinks Pene doesn’t know what love is since she has never been in love. They continue sparring/playing until Mike gives up…Pene doesn’t want to play. (Mike secretly thinks, though, that he should brush Pene up on her Jello wrestling skills, you never know with this new job)

Bella goes in to talk to BBB who complains that she took too long for lunch. BBB tells her the feds were there asking about one of the girls. BelMar tells her she was late because she was having lunch with a very important client. She tells BBB of a supposed request that they cannot possibly fulfill. It’s made by a millionaire who collects cars. He doesn’t want to be known, but he is an admirer of BBB’s. BBB says nothing is impossible.

Eman and Emi are lying on the grass, laughing because they are now quite high. Emi asks who his last gf was. He says Maria and tells her that a friend of his left her pregnant. He has a flashback, but what he flashes and what he says are totally different. He tells Emi that the guy left Maria; so he wanted to help with the costs of the baby and, in the process, they fell in love. Emi is really into Eman by this time and stealthily checks him for head lice, as you never know.

BBB makes her call to one of her contacts to try to fulfill the order. BBB get nowhere and tells BelMar that the feds are there; she will need one more day. Bella says no dice, the order needs to be made now. Just then, Annoying Girl tells Bella someone is waiting for her. Bella goes out and sees JP waiting for her…BUSTED!!!

 

Episode 26, Part 3: BUSTED Bella

JP is muy furious. He can’t believe Bella is there. He questions her and tells her to be careful with what she says to him. Bella just wants everyone to know what kind of person BBB is. When he asks about Hor and if she is Atanea, Bella knows she is dead meat. On My Bell, you are maybe going to have to tell a little bittty tiny white lie.

Eman continues his story that he and Maria decided to maintain their relationship a secret…she was 18, but then she went back to her bf and they left to the US. Eman never saw her again. He was very hurt—so was Maria, but she can’t feel anything anymore. Yeah, can't breathe either?

JP wants to know how far Bella would have gone with Hor. Bella swears she never slept with Hor and she didn’t kill him. JP tells her that her show is over; he won’t let her continue. Bella gets pissed and dares him to get out and tell the world who she is.

Later, JP is in BBB’s office and sees the sketch of Atanea. When BBB asks if he recognizes her, he denies ever seeing her before. Before he leaves, BBB asks JP if everything is ok with Maritza since someone saw them arguing. Is there something she did? JP denies arguing with Maritza. Sitting in a PREVIOUSLY new car on the showroom floor screaming is arguing, yes, no, OK.

At home, Bella runs in asking for Pene, but she’s not there. She tells Mike that JP caught her and knows that she was Atanea too. Everything has gone to pot.

Pene is out with Simon drinking Blue Nectar tequila. Simon thinks she is acting odd, so Pene explains that she doesn’t understand men…get in line sista’! Simon says they are all very direct. Pene thought the same but now she knows different. She changes the subject and asks him point blank if he likes her.

Bella goes to see JP. Gotta love Pickle, she is a happy drunk. Bella knows he is mad, but wants him to listen. She swears that she did not sleep with Hor and it’s important that he knows that. She knew he wouldn’t approve if she told him what she was up to. JP mentions that she is now with another beast. Bella insists that she has found out many things that they have done. In Hor’s case, his actions killed him.

Pene refuses to drink anymore until Simon answers her question. What are his intentions? He responds with a Kiss. Guess she got her answer. Bottoms up now?

JP wants to know when Bella was going to tell him about what she was doing. Bella was waiting for the right moment…a time when he was prepared. She didn’t want to lose him…she loves him. JP thinks it sounds nice but it’s not enough. He wants to know what her intent is because she is surely not doing justice. He can’t let her go on because he won’t let anything happen to her and he loves her.

Eman is cooking. Emi finds whipped cream and tries to give Eman some. He refuses so she throws her dress on the floor and asks if he is sure he doesn’t want some as she comes out only wearing whipped cream bra. Eman is impressed that even though the fasteners on her shred of a dress failed, she has managed to remain decent thanks to a can of whipped cream.

Bella needs to return to make sure JP hasn’t said anything. Pene and Mike get into it because he made some comment about asking Simon if it’s safe to return to the car dealership. Mike gives Bella a check and tells her to be careful where she deposits it.
BelMar and PenJuls arrive. Annoying Girl tells Maritza that BBB is waiting for her and she is not happy. Uh Oh!...JP is there with BBB. BBB asks JP what it was that he had to say that was so important. Double uh-oh!

 

Nice. Thanks RGV. M&M just have me perplexed.

Is she really into him now?
Is it all an act as part of some scheme Emi has?
Has Eman distanced himself from the Beasts on purpose and is ready to settle down with Olive Oil? (NiNa :-) :-) :-) )
He actually has not done much since ordering the death or killing JP's and Bel's Dads.

JP is E X A C T L Y the epitome of the reason Bela feels like she has to do it herself. She should shitcan titsonabull JP before he gets her killed.

Pene is in a great position now, as she can pit Simonize against Largesize and make them compete for her. If she plays her cards right she may even make them fight. WooHoo......

That's an interesting development and I had to laugh at your quip that Mike wants a "price list" on the cost of a relationship. Don't we all! And oh my, saucy lady, after Simon also made his intentions clear to Pene, you write "Bottoms up?" Touché!

Great sense of humor Rgv Chick. Still not tempted to watch this but wouldn't miss the recaps.

First, let me say that without you and Kirby, I would be lost. It was so frustrating that I did not understand Mike and Pene's conversation. I so appreciate your defining it for me. Thank you.

Kirby, I think Emi is falling under Em's spell. I could be wrong but I don't think she has a plan, she's just in the moment. Another poor decision.

Did Bella really think she would fly under JP's radar? For an intelligent girl, she certainly misjudged this very crucial thread. She was brazenly taunting fate and it has come to haunt her. JP cannot ignore Bella's actions. Acting covertly is one thing but she is in plain sight now. I had to smirk when BBB did not "recognize" Bella in the sketch. Another beanie moment for the list.

Now that he knows, does Bella really have any options? She breaks up with him - solves nothing. He breaks up with her - he has the same dilemna. Sometimes you just can't "unsee" what you've viewed.

Ms.Bela has gotten herself into a real mess here: Just one more indictment against sleeping with cops, you can break up with him, but he is still a cop! What ya gonna do now?

She could have worn a full face mask and he should have recognized those award winning legs anyway. There was an identifiable amount of them sticking out from under that little dress. Woof

Law enforcement always has relationships with shady characters, informants, assassins to do numbers LE is not allowed to do, insiders in prisons, etc. so why can these two not team up and work together rather than against each other?

And I think JP is a numbskull chasing around after these Castor and Horacio deaths, as it is a documented fact that both were high level criminals. He should be "Good riddance, NEXT"

NudyB, the head lice was funny as could be. You should have seen it. Em&Em were lying on their backs in the grass, high as a Georgia pine, at about 90 degrees to each other. And she was fiddling around in his hair with one hand, sort of absentmindedly, another chick trick like playing with a button on your shirt. But it did remind you of the way primates groom each other.

And what purpose does Annoying Girl play here?

Nett, you couldn't have been any more on target about Emilia yesterday. She looked to know exactly what she was doing from the get go. As they say, the fruit does not fall far from the tree. The desert prank was pretty brazen.


 

Kirby, I could see JP and Bella teaming up under different circumstances. But here - it is personal. Very personal.

If Bella was seeking to bring the beasts to justice, that would be one thing. But she wants their utter demise and the motivation is revenge, not quite the same as justice. Not that I blame her. But JP's job is to uphold the law. He can't condone murder which is the end game here, no matter that Bella has had a role in and not been the actual killer. The one exception is Castor whom she literally killed with her own hands.

She was damaged due to the past. As Jarifa noted, "So, what did JP expect of a deeply damaged Bela? She was going to change because he wants her to?". Not going to happen.

I have no idea if and how these two are going to end up together. Sadly, love doesn't quite always conquer all!:)

This TN seems to like odd couples, and Eman and Olive Oyl Emi are the latest, and they have me worried. Olive Oyl may not be Mexico's most upstanding citizen but I would not want to see her wind up like Maria. If Eman starts thinking he has said too much or that Emi just knows too much, it might turn out bad.

I saw bits and pieces of this episode . One bit that I caught was the picnic in the park with Emi doing the grooming of Eman. I missed dessert...thankfully. Is Eman a father figure for Emi. What is the age difference?..20 years of more?

I also saw the end scene of Bella entering Bbb's office and finding..da da dum...her novio. I like the way BBB has decorated both home and office with her very own image. #,memememe Perhaps some better disguises are in order.

Simon vs Mike . Shall we take a poll? I think the guy playing Simon is a more well known actor, so will that count?
 

Andy don't you think, though, that Olive Oil is a completely different animal from Maria? Maria was an unsuspecting innocent little maid's daughter. OO is a small time drug dealer. And what I found amusing last night was watching a young girl seduce a grown man who thought he was trying so hard to seduce her.!

She was ten laps ahead all along. and Eman didn't notice until the whipped cream flag waved.

Simon is substantially taller, cuter, and has a respectable job, I think he will win Pene if her ...um...fake JOB does not foul things up for her. She sure shouldn't take any pointers from Busted Bel though. Chapo didn't look as guilty when they put the cuffs on him as Bela did when she walked into BBB office to meet JP. DOH !

Simon and Mike are very different.

The character (and actor) playing Simon is very cute. We're seeing a bit more of his personality and I definitely like what I see. And hear.

Simon is like JP - wants the truth and prefers to play by the rules.

But, Mike is like Bella. For them, it's personal. Unfortunately, Mike seems to have exhibited little personality at this point. And, I'm not convinced he can actually smile.

Pene can make Simon hers. Not sure about Mike.

I still want Mike for Pene but will have to see how this plays out.

Diana, ITA Emi is young, just living in the moment, and has no plan with Eman.

Beyond liking tenderonis though, I think Eman gets a kick out of boinking the daughter of the man he killed. He resented Armando (who in my view was the alpha male between him and Eman) and is still getting his revenge on him through Emi. Nina, your take that Eman is letting Bella mow down the Beasts cause he wants to be the one and only Beast adds up to me.

I feel bad for Mike. He was living a solitary life running a gym and nursing his emotional pain. Then these two women recruit him for his expertise to help with a revenge plan. Now the two women ignore all his good advice and he’s even trapped in a love triangle.

That last scene was sensational. Bella super-super busted. Can these two kids work it out?
 

I think that Pene and Mike both have sad, disturbing pasts.Will that factor bring them together or push them apart? I also think that we are meant to feel sorry for sad, wounded Mike and cheer for him ending up with Pene. Will the writers give all three of the vigilantes happiness in the end?

Re Emi, wow... those high, clunky shoes .....accident waiting to happen.

I was wonders if the actress playing Pickle gets bored with portraying someone who is constantly pickled?🍸🍺🍻🍷🍹
 

Kirby, you are absolutely right about Maria and Emi being very different cases, but I'm still concerned. A man who would boink an underage girl, get her pregnant, and then kill her while she's pregnant with his child, is a reptile. He may be showing a different side right now, but he's still a reptile.

Nina, I'm another one who likes your theory about Eman being happy with someone else doing away with the Beasts, although I'm not sure he knows it's Bela doing it.

Niecie, I feel bad for Mike too. He was badly maimed by losing his girlfriend and he is now gun shy...I really can't blame the guy for trying to avoid a relationship. I just hope he's not too late when he decides to take that leap of faith.

Andy, Olive Oil is perfect! And I too am concerned about Emi's future. I know she has been and still is treading treacherous waters and has no clue, but I think she stl has a chance at being redeemed.
 

Chickie, I don't know why we should be concerned with Emi (Nina dubbed her "Olive Oil Quintero"), but I guess we just hope she can be redeemed. At least some of us do. And quite a few of us are spinning all sorts of theories about Eman also. These two are stealing the show, at least for an episode or two.

I think some of us feel for Emi because she is out of her league and hasn't a clue. She thinks she's dealing with a too old for her bachelor who isn't lucky in love. We know she's dealing with a man without conscience who killed an innocent under-aged lover and his unborn child, not to mention her dad.

Double Uh-ohhh from last episode as BelMar walks into BBB's office to be greeted by JP and BBB.
JP pretends to have been trying to contact the dealership concerning a purchase, (covering for Bel/Mar) and he wanted to talk to BelMaritza in person. BBB says OK fix it.
After BelMar leaves, BBB then wants to talk about Atenea.

Bela of course pretends not to know JP but looks like the cat that ate the canary, a kitty with great legs.
Bela appears to be doing some breathing exercises. :-) Outside in the lobby, former employees arrive, but BelMar intercepts and tells Israel that she would like to talk to him, but not there.

JP tells BBB they still don't have any leads. BBB wonders if the hooker with Horacio might come after her too. JP assures her she is safe if she wasn’t doing anything shady with Horacio. BBB is really pissed as JP leaves.

Israel and Bella talk. He points out that she was there during the meeting with the lawyer and she didn’t say a word. She assures him she will help them, but just needs more time.

JP walks in and catches Pene in her disguise, and she tells him to pretend not to know her.

BelaMar gives BBB the check wearing a Navy blue dress which barely covers things standing up.
BBB talks to Pene and calls Omar over. She’s looking for Maritza. Just then Maritza walks in. After BBB gets after BelaMar for talking to the former employees, Maritza tells BBB she was trying to reason with the formers…in BBB’s favor of course. Bela then gives her a check for 16 million pesos from the mysterious man making the big purchase, and now BBB wants to meet him.

BBB tells Pene it is her first day as an escort.

Em&Em next morning all happy and we see a brief flashback of them heading for bed as they are still in bed but have run out of whipped cream. Best night of his life, blah, blah, blah...She already wants him to COMMIT ????? They fight. Welcome to dating Freshmen, Eman.

JP and BelMar meet outside her work to talk . JP tells her he didn't turn her in but is worried for her safety with BBB. JP gives Bela three days to stop this craziness…and she must resign.

Annoying girl shows up as BelMar gets back from talking to JP. She is a PSA for a tripping hazard?

BBB tells Pene she will make a great escort with that face as BBB, Pene and Omar leave.

BBB and Pene at BBB’s house as BBB explains her escort job and intros to some of the girls.
These girls are her best, most exclusive girls. They are forbidden from going out with anyone who they are not assigned to. One is BBB’s favorite Melina

Em&Em still at the Luuuve Shack having their first lightweight fight already. Eman thinks, along with the rest of humanity, that it might be a little soon to announce they are Novio/as. Emilia thinks it couldn't be too soon. Emi is already making demands that they be BF/GF or it is over. Oh Noes silly girl
 

At BBB’s house, Omar is finding Mike's bugs and shows one to BBB as Pene looks on.
Pene mistakenly calls BBB Mrs; so she coldly corrects her that she is a Miss. BBB figures out the burglar the other night was not a burglar, but the one planting the bugs.

Pene with the other girls getting acquainted. BBB asks Pene if she is ready to sell her body. Pene is not. She is warned to be submissive and never ever make the client look bad.

Bela has sneaked into BBB’s office at work and has her laptop as she talks to Mike and hooks up the laptop for him. Mike has it linked to theirs at the batcave.

Bela is back home and tells Mike they only have three days, and he says it is not enough time, and they found all the bugs.

Simon/JP....still talking about BBB and Maritza. JP tells Simon they are now investigating BBB.
Simon is suddenly “Nothing, Nothing” to JP's amazement (after seeing Pene there and recognizing her disguise right away). Simon says BBB is a victim why investigate her? JP notes to Simon that 60 percent of her sales are to the government. Simon is getting kinda upset and JP finally figures out the Pene angle. JP is going to tell Simon who Pene really is.

BBBgoes to visit Beast Senator. She tells the Senator that JP is investigating her and she thinks the same girl with Horacio is now possibly after her. The Senator thinks her problem is the Feds, not some girl.
The Senator wonders why BBB doesn't think that the feds are the ones that are after her. BBB says that she covers herself very well. He wonders if JP knows about their association. Senator doesn't think that Armando would've mentioned anything about the association to JP. Senator thinks that JP is using the excuse of Atanea to get info from her.

JP and Simon talk about Isabella now as JP flashes back about seeing her the first time at Mango Motors. He tells Simon about seeing a Bela lookalike at the dealership the other day….and tells Simon it was actually Bella.

The girls are having drinks and girl talk. Not a bad looking stable. The girls tell Pene that the Madame (BBB) already must have an assignment for Pene.

Em&Em appear to have patched things up. She tells him if he needs time to decide, she is fine, but she isn't going to be hidden as his bed partner only.

Pene and one of the girls talking. Melina is the one Bella told Pene to get close to so she can get info on the contact who is helping BBB get out of the lawsuit. Since Melina is the senator's girl then he is the contact.

BBB in the car with Omar and JP and Simon call her. Simon asks about Julieta a.k.a. Pene. Simon wants to go out with Juliet. BBB thinks about what the Senator warned her about. So she tells Simon that she can help him out.

Pene is finally back home talking to Mike who thinks Pene is taking her “job” too seriously. Mentions how BBB found their bugs. They fight. Pene thinks Mike is manipulative. Yeah, kinda like a Doctor when he is trying to keep you alive, maybe.
 

BelaMar in the showroom sitting in a car and talking on phone to JP, and he warns her if she commits a crime he will arrest her .

BBB tells Omar that she is still suspicious of Maritza. She can’t believe someone who just started sold 52 cars to one person. What, a fresh car each week? BBB wants to know who Bela was talking to, etc. and the two have a little cat fight. BBB wants to see her phone, but that ain’t happening. Bella tells her she was talking to the BIG client…who happens to be her dermatologist…and she got BBB an appointment with him tomorrow. Squeeee!

Bela home now doing yoga as Mike goes off on her. He understands they have less than a day to fabricate an office AND a dermatologist. He (RIGHTFULLY) wonders what she and Pene are thinking. Mike, it's a gurl thang.

Simon meets Pene and tells her they are investigating BBB. Pene says, OK so am I. Sniff, Simon doesn't want any secrets. Oh My. Simon.

Em&Em fighting again. He is still refusing to be novios; so she tells him he won’t lay a hand on her anymore. When they get back tomorrow, she will either be his girlfriend or his receptionist…not both. I guess they are already a couple with mucho trouble in not-such-a-paradise.

Mike thinks Bela needs to get out of BBB's life. Bela is conveniently now deaf and pleads with him to help her.

Lots of surprises for lots of the characters last night.

So now Emilia wants old Emanuel for a novio???? Not smart.

Ha! JP is caught in a dilemma with Bela. He says he will arrest her if she does something criminal. Maybe he needs to ask for a transfer to a different office/city. . . She won’t be stopping anytime soon. This is only episode 25.

As happy as I was to read the excellent recap Kirby, I was equally delighted to see the amazing avatar, protective parent and child. Amazing.

"Welcome to dating Freshme" and "Eman I guess they are already a couple with mucho trouble in not-such-a-paradise" were fantastic.

"Pene thinks Mike is manipulative. Yeah, kinda like a Doctor when he is trying to keep you alive, maybe". Sigh.

Bella is dancing on a razor sharp knife edge. She is thisclose to being discovered by BBB and is in an equally precarious situation with JP.

The actress playing Pene is doing a great job. You could see her obvious discomfort (whether it was the dress and heels or raw fear in what she was doing was hard to tell) meeting her new besties.

Annoying dealership girl without a plotline must have some purpose (?)

So. My honest feeling is that I don't necessarily dislike Emi, but I do not care about her at all. I'm not a fan of whiners. And to have her pester Em to formalize their relationship was just disconcerting. Some here feel Emi knows exactly what she is doing. If it turns out you are right, I salute you. Em is an oxygen waster, pure and simple. I fully expect him to go down in flames.

Jarifa, I don't know how JP and Bella will resolve things. Even if she manages to "quit" in 3 days, it will onto the next beast in no time. He knows the truth whether they are together or not. And clearly, he cannot handle the truth.

Lucio you are so right. If JP and Simon would, well, bend the rules a little, or better, a LOT, the four of them would be unstoppable as a team all working together.

She is quite childish and her tantrums are getting old. He seems to be in it just to get his little thrills....it must be a game for him.

I really think Bella believes that she is not guilty; she is justifying her actions because these people are SO evil...and she is even helping the Beasts' victims in the process. Should she be 'forgiven' her sins??? I just don't know anymore! ARGHHH I'm rambling...This is frustrating!...but I luuurve it!

BTW, has anyone wondered why JP hasn't accused Bella of murdering his father?? She should be his primary suspect. Did the cops ever investigate it...has it been forgotten?

I have not said it out loud yet, but I am ambivalent about Bela, in do her ends justify their means? Murder is murder no matter who does it to whom..

IE: A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it
The truth is the truth even if no none believes it.

Revenge is a powerful motivator for some, especially one who has been as badly hurt as Bela and has made no progress healing. She has no compunction about lies to anyone. Nor does she see any problem with becoming a serial killer, in essence.

Her promises and half truthfulness with JP appear to simply be a manifestation of her mating instincts rather than any moral discovery.

I just see Bela leading herself down a very dark path.
 

Jarifa, you are SO right! Bella hasn't realized that she can't have her revenge and JP. She has brainwashed herself into thinking that what she is doing is justified to the point that she completely ignores, or does not accept, that JP became a federal agent to try and change things and, IMO, he is doing it for her.

Kirby, I would really love to see the foursome working together instead of against each other, but I would want them to do what is morally right while staying within the legal boundaries. Revenge doesn't have to be culminate in murder.

Notice that the nest is on a man made square platform on a pole? We Floridians put those up for Ospreys, who are quite happy with them. Eagles normally require a big tree, but this is another case where an Eagle has taken a nest site away from an Osprey.

Those platforms are about two feet square, and are actually small for an Eagle, but this pair manages somehow. I have been out there when both parents and both chicks were there and watched for someone to fall over the edge.

Armie was obviously murdered, no perp was ever arrested, he was not proven in public to be an actual criminal, and he is forgotten quicker than Felipe.

Castor and Horacio are exposed as known criminals and their deaths are avenged and investigated like they were a Kennedy or something.

I must say, for BBB to be such a vain jealous, competitive bitch, she sure picks some delicious looking honeys for her 'girls'.

I have to admit that I have had a problem with this revenge plot from the start. I believe that a good, happy life is always the best revenge , and one that I have tried to follow in my own life with people who have hurt me or mine.

Gorgeous day here...sunny, breezy, clear, 70. I am get trying very hard to place this day in my memory to replay in the midst of winter's show and cold.

Still trying to clear out the farmhouse...so many memories roused. So sad.

Susy, nothing in life prepares you for the necessity of discarding useless little things which are crammed with memories. People typically keep way too much stuff and it just sort of dribbles away as the years go by
 

Andy it has been raining or threatening to for three days here. Th lack of sunshine, thunder and lightning just puts me in a playful mood.
 

Isabella has said that with the Beasts dead they wouldn't be able to hurt anyone anymore. She wouldn't be satisfied with the Beasts being imprisoned because they can just do their illegal dealings from within anyway. Or escape. El Chapo fits that narrative, though being in the US stripped him of a lot of power. It really depends how an inmate is housed.

Another example would be MS-13, a transnational gang that functions so well in prison, it's almost pointless to send them there. In today's world, a cell does not stop an inmate from accessing the rest of the world anymore. There are scores of gang leaders in prison that are fully functional in their role, and they continue to wreak havoc as if they're at liberty.

The legal system often fails at justice, when it comes to organized crime. But Isabella's system doesn't work either, because she isn't ending the Beasts, she's merely making new ones sprout up.

A whiny, pouty Emi is what Eman deserves for robbing the cradle. But honestly, Emi must be bipolar. One minute she's boohoohoo drunk cause Eman tried to kiss her, next she's demanding he let everybody know they're going steady.

I don't believe Bella will kill again, unless it's in self-defense. To me the worst thing she's done is leave a dead man hanging in the church. But JP has got to admit to himself that he's not had half the success that she's had. In fact, he's had no success. He needs Bella and she needs him. Fingers crossed that this is the point where the two teams merge and it becomes more Mission Impossible, less The Terminator.

Can't wait to see who will be the dermatologist tonight.
