Mi marido tiene más familia Friday 9/14/18 Capítulo 4 " A Line . . . on the Sidewalk"

Julieta cries in the car as she is on her way home with Blanquita.

Robert and David are at Canuto's house where Robert finds out that Canuto is married to Crisanta and that Sebastián and Dr. Axel are his grandchildren. When Robert leaves, Crisanta tells her family how impressed she is with Robert and his son. She made dinner so it is now Canuto's (don Tito's) turn to give her a lift to her store so she can deal with that vulture next to her shop. Canuto is clearly distressed.

When they arrive at her shop, Crisanta sees a red stripe down the sidewalk. Canuto leaves her quickly. Lázaro (Imelda's driver) jumps out and says Crisanta cannot cross the line. Crisanta asks by whose orders. Imelda comes out with Amalia and says by her orders. Canuto nervously watches from across the street.

Robert and Dave arrive at home where Julieta is with Blanca. Julieta makes it clear that everything is not going well.

Imelda dares Crisanta to cross the line. Nobody prohibits Crisanta from doing what she wants!!! So Crisanta touches the other side of the line alternately with the tips of her shoes. Imelda sends Lázaro inside the shop for something. . .

Robert is in the kitchen starting dinner and is talking about the little girl with the burned scalp and how they are going to be able to regrow her hair. This case has really made him think about his mission of being a doctor and how he needs more training to help her. He has signed up for his class. Julieta is not pleased. Susana has banned children from theo ffice.

Crisanta decidedly steps across the line. Lázaro has returned with a fire extinguisher. Imelda tells Crisanta to get back and sprays her. Canuto watches from afar in fear and horror. Amalia and Imelda laugh at Crisanta.

Julieta just does not know how she is going to work with her child away from her. She doesn't know how other women do it. Robert says they knew this was going to happen sooner or later. Julieta never expected it happen so soon. Who are her children going to stay with? Robert immediately mentions his mother. This elicits a very strong "no" response from Julieta. Robert tells her to look for solutions and points out that she is not the only one making sacrifices. She needs to stop controlling everything. Dave looks on sadly as he witnesses the argument.

Canuto cannot believe what he is seeing. Crisanta asks Imelda if she has any idea of what she has just done. Of course she does! She made a snow ball! Imelda and her crew laugh.. Amalia and Lázaro help Imelda back into her shop. Canuto decides to not get involved and escapes in his truck. Crisanta's sales girl comes out to help her. Imelda gloats inside of her shop knowing she will remember this day the rest of her life. Crisanta calls the police. She tells them to come quickly because a criminal wanted to kill her.

Julieta sarcastically thanks Robert for understanding what she is going through. It hurts her not being with her children and not being able to bring her son to school. She blames it all on Susana. Dave thinks about Sebas talking about how his parents never had any time for him or his brother and how they always would fight and then got divorced. Julieta can only imagine his mother's reaction if she asked her to watch the children. It would be one big "I told you so."because Julieta cannot do it all. Robert tells her she has been a "super" mom, wife and professional and reminds her that life can change any moment and you have to learn how to change with it. Julieta goes into another room to avoid making rude comments about Robert's mother. Robert follows her her so she continues. She knows that his mother has changed but she does not agree with her ideas on religion, nutrition and education. Does he remember when Dave stayed with his parents on a Saturday and came home singing a hymn praising God? Julieta is not sure that is what she wants her kids to believe. Robert thought they had talked their way through that incident already. He does not appreciate the way she speaks about his mother. Julia is done talking but Robert isn't. She needs to understand this affects all of them and he knows she is angry about him taking a class. No, she says it isn't him taking a class it is just when is the right time for him to take it. Robert tries to make it clear that he needs to take the class for himself and the children that need him. He knows how she hates losing control. Julieta agrees that he knows how she is: structured. He does and she is who he fell in love with. He also adds it was only a matter of time before she was going to lose control.

Robert turns the conversation to finding solutions. Has Julieta thought about getting another job? Julieta is not about to resign. She likes her job. They need a nanny to take care of the children starting tomorrow. Robert is not sure about letting the children stay with a person they don't even know since this is on such short notice. That is why his mother woud be s good option. He wants to call her right away but Julieta suggests her own mother. Robert asks how that is fair.

Daniela is crying in her workshop as Gabriel enters in his bear costume. He has Frida in tow all ready to clean her workshop. He says they are a pair of bears that have been hired to organize this space. He is there to prove to Daniela what a great team she and he are and how much he loves her. He promises to be more responsible and organized and also fun. He tickles her. He insists they will triumph and not fail. Daniela doesn't look convinced.

As they do laundry, Robert remarks about how he just does not get why it is such a big deal to ask his mother for help. Julieta says it is all about how his mother is. She just does not want to have more problems with her. Robert goes on record that he also has problems with her mother's beliefs and doesn't want their kids influenced by them either. Julieta agrees that her mom will be out of the picture as soon as they find a nanny. Yes, they will make the nanny decision together.

Canuto goes to visit Axel at the hospital. HIs life is like a horror movie because he has found out that his current wife and his ex-wife know each other and hate each other. Axel seems to think this might be for the best. Canuto doesn't because they are on the verge of finding out about each other and everything else. Canuto has always feared this moment. Axel doesn't understand how he could have gone all of these years hiding it. Canuto is worried about what is going to happen to him. They won't have a family anymore. Axel agrees but tells him it will be worse if they find out on their own. Axel gives Canuto his own advice: face the truth.

Imelda and her two accomplices, Amalia and Lázaro, are arrested by the police. As they are placed in the squad car, Crisanta shouts for them to be jailed. They are a danger to society especially the blonde one with the criminal mind. Imelda vows to return. Later, Imelda raves on about Crisanta with Amalia in a jail cell.

At home, David asks Julieta if they are going to see her. She says maybe a little less with more work but she will arrange things. She promises him. He misses her. She thinks back on Dave when he was first adopted and the birth of Blanquita. The doorbell rings. It is Catalina who states: "A mother is like blood, she shows up when there is a wound without being called." She knows that Julieta is not doing well. Julieta admits she was going to call her. Catalina is only there to remind her that her mother is there for her and that she loves her. Catalina explains that only when you are a mother do you understand the depth of love you have for your children and often suffer unjustified criticism by those same children who never put themselves in your place. Catalina assures Julieta that what she is feeling is normal. Up to now, Julieta has always has been able to get her own way because she has been in control at her job and in her life. Julieta talks about how her family is the most important thing for her. Catalina hates to say it but maybe this is a good thing that is happening to Julieta so she knows what really being a mother is all about. Mother and daughter hug.

Canuto goes to the cemetery to visit his own grave. A call from an angry Crisanta breaks the maudlin mood. She chews him out for not answering his phone and for having left her at the mercy of those criminals. She saw him in his truck. She calls him a coyón (coward).

Axel talks to Sebas who is working on his family tree which he thinks is a stupid project. Sebas is in a bad mood because nobody pays any attention to them. His mother is not at home and his dad . . . it just doesn't matter. Axel says he understands him and he is always there for him. Tey decide to have a video chat with their dad.

Susana is leaving work and finds Casandra still there working on a report for Julieta. Clearly, Susana is not pleased that Julieta gave Casandra the report to work on.

At the police station, an officer is asking Imelda to sign an agreement that states she will maintain her distance from Crisanta Díaz. Eugenio and Blanca paid her bail. Imelda is still angry and it takes a threat to throw her back in a jail cell to finally get her to sign.

Gabriel and Daniela are all lovey dovey and he doesn't want her to be disappointed in him. He promises things are going to be fine. Suddenly they hear a scream. It is Frida. She found ut she has a toothache brushing her teeth. Gabriel and Daniela scramble around not knowing what to do. Gabriel finally get some frozen meat to stick on her jaw.

Back at home, Eugenio still does not understand how Imelda could get into such a situation with her competition. Imelda says he would know if he knew Crisanta. Imelda sees it as an ongoing war between them. Frida calls Blanca saying her tooth hurts.

Susana arrives at a darkened house and finds her sons talking to their father Dr. Vicente in Africa on their laptop Vicente asks where their mom is. Sebas turns it back on him and asks sarcastically: "where do you think?" Susana overhears the conversation, grabs the computer and tells her ex-husband off. She isn't there at home because she is out earning a living to support the household. It is real easy for him to have a relationship with his kids since he is living all the way in Africa. The boys just stare at her. She gives them the laptop and leaves.

Blanca and Eugenio are at Daniela's and Gabriel's place. Blanca has calmed Frida down and taken care of her tooth. Blanca is not happy with anything she sees there so Frida is coming back with her to live in her home. Frida is eating candy, junk, and not brushing her teeth. Daniela moans that it is hard taking care of her.Blanca informs them that marriage is more than just sharing sharing a bed, games and fun. If they don't buckle down and become responsible, their marriage is doomed. It is time to get Frida's things so they can take her home. Gabriel and Daniela beg her to let Frida stay but Blanca is not changing her mind. Eugenio threatens to cut Gabriel's beard but can't seem to find a pair of scissors at their place.

Canuto is already in bed. Crisanta comes in and accuses him of seeing her get attacked by that woman and not coming to her defense. He just took off! She wants answers but Canuto just looks at her frozen with fear.

Eugenio cannot find a comfortable position in bed and is annoying Blanca who wants him to stay on his own side of the bed. He cannot stop moving around or moaning. She asks him to just not move for five seconds so she can fall asleep. He cannot even do that.

Daniela asks if Gabriel is awake. He is and she cannot sleep. She doesn't know how they are going to solve all of the issues they are dealing with. What if her mom and Susana are right and they can't make their marriage work? Gabriel grabs her hand and holds it.

Robert and Julieta are in bed where she is still working. He takes away her papers and tells her it is time to dream. She asks him to forgive her for fighting so much and for her anger and fears. She doesn't want him to tire of her "control". Robert makes it clear she has nothing to apologize for. Julieta is just worried that some day things will have changed so much that they will not recognize each other. Robert assures her that one thing that will never change is his love for her. They agree that they both are incredible.

The next morning, Julieta has breakfast with Robert, the chldren and Catalina. Robert and Dave have made a sandwich for her lunch and written TE AMAMOS (We love you) on the wrapper. She loves them too much. She kisses her family goodbye and leaves for work. As she leaves, she tells herself this separation from the children is only temporary.

At Susana's house, her sons become quiet as she enters the dining room for breakfast. Crisanta remarks how they all have their dead monkey faces on. Canuto just wants her to let them eat in peace. Nevertheless, Susana agrees with her mother and is tired of being blamed for everything. With a smirk, Sebas tells her she is the worst mother in the world. Crisanta corrects him and tells him it is not fair to say that to his mother. Susana asks him why he would say something like that to her. Axel excuses Sebas because he is only a little kid. Sebas clarifies that he might be a little boy but he is not stupid. Susana loses it and tells him that she has had enough of his comments. They hurt her. Don't they think she would like to be just like their dad? Sebas tells her she should be. Susana gets up and Canuto gets her to sit back down. She gets up again and tells her two sons that she is going to tell them the truth whether they like it or not. She is the one who stayed with them to take care of them. She is the one who goes to work to make sure there is money to buy them both the things that they need. For now, she has lost her appetite and leaves for work.

Gabriel wakes up and Daniela is already up and working. They both miss Frida. Daniela hates that they took her back because they did not care for her like they should have. Daniela is going over the books and their bills and has no idea how they are going to pay the fine. They are going to have to sell one of the machines. Gabriel disagrees because she needs them in order to work. Daniela says she will just have to work more by hand. Gabriel will think of something to help them.

Blanca tells Frida she has a dental appointment even though her tooth is feeling better. First Blanca will take her to the dentist, take her to school, go to her own dance class and then get back to greet the new renters. She doesn't know who they are. Blanca reminds Frida that things are different in her home because there are rules. Eugenio says they will have to tell Frida's mom that she is now living with them. They call her.

Under police supervision, Amalia and Lázaro are scrubbing the red line off the sidewalk. Imelda says she doesn't have to scrub because she was innocent. Crisanta comes out to see how things are progressing. She announces that now it should be clear who is in charge around there.

At work, Julieta is ready for the photo shoot to start for the fall/winter catalogue. After the shoot, Susana asks Julieta and Casandra to meet with her in her office. Once there, she expresses her disappointment in Julieta's work. It is not what she expected from her. She thought it would be more complete. The quality is not that of a vice president like HER. Susana doesn't like to think Julieta was trying to pull one over on her. She knows that Casandra did the work because she saw her there working to all hours of the night.Julieta is using other people to prove she can do it all: be a mom, an executive, etc., etc., etc.

At the hospital, Robert examines Canuto's burn and still does not like the way it looks. Canuto is thinking about Axel telling him to face the truth when Robert has to get his attention again. Robert tells him if he is not taking care of his wound there is nothing he can do for him. Out of nowhere, Canuto asks Robert what he knows about his grandfather. Robert asks why he would ask that question. Well, Canuto says he is a grandfather himself so it is just a matter of curiosity.

Amalia and Imelda are back in the shop and Amalia is trying to convince Imelda to just ignore Crisanta. She needs to calm down so she doesn't suffer another heart attack. Amalia suggests she go to church and pray. It will do her well.

Blanca brings Frida to school and runs into Dave who lets it drop that grandma Catalina is taking care of them at their house. His mother asked her to. Blanca is not pleased.

Back at Susana's office, Casandra says she just did the work that Julieta asked her to do. For Susana, that only proves her point that Julieta was not doing her own work. Finally, an upset Julieta tells Susana in a loud voice that enough is enough. Julieta has had it with Susana. Susana insists that she is only "telling it like it is." Again, Julieta raises her voice and tells her that is enough. Julieta asks if Susana knows that her assistant is there to help her, right? Ever since Susana has arrived she has done nothing but belittle her in front of the other employees. Why? Susana insists it is because we all have to know our "opportunity areas". Julieta states that she has been at the company a lot longer than Susana and she knows that these campaigns are very successful. She continues. Ever since Susana has arrived, she thinks that giving orders is the same thing as being a leader. Susana states that she refuses to be in competition with Julieta. She only is asking that Julieta fulfills her obligations. Julieta will not permit Susana to disrespect her or make less of her in front of others. Susana's comeback is that her job is to find problems in every area of the company. She started with Julieta because it was her area that had the most problems that were visible. Julieta suggests that maybe Susana needs to focus more on the results rather than destroying everybody's lives. If she wants to work on team building, maybe she should start with herself. Julieta and Casandra leave. Susana is left to fume all alone.

Lázaro has brought Imelda to church. She finds a pew and starts to pray.

Robert talks to Dr. Vicente, Axel and Sebas's father, in Africa. Robert thanks him for his support of his burn foundation in Mexico. Dr. Vicente talks about how their patients have lost so much that they have to give their patients everything to make up or it.

Imelda's praying is disturbed when Canuto sits down next to her and calls her by her name. She turns to look at him. He asks if she knows who he is. He is Canuto, her husband. She can only stare.

Comments:
The highlight for me was the Crisanta/Imelda subplot. Lots of goofy humor. Canuto is quite the coward. Will he tell Crisanta the truth or will Crisanta find out in some other way.?

Jarifa: What happened to the Punk Rocker Girl ?

The Crisanta/Imelda feud definitely brought good humour to today's tense chapter. When the truth comes out, would Crisanta dump Canuto and Imelda take him back?

Blanca and Eugenio were right in that Gabriel and Daniela weren't ready to supervise a child. They still appear to be figuring out how their marriage works! Surprising that Marisol didn't choose to leave her daughter with Blanca and Eugenio instead.

Julieta needs to realize that Susana does prove her point. It wasn't right for Cassandra to be at work so late doing the vice presidenta's job. She may be her assistant, but Julieta was taking advantage of her (and likely has done so before). Its obvious she was abusing her unsupervised power in that branch of the company. The assistant was also seen helping out with the child too before. Julieta's now taken things way too personal with Susana. She's being incredibly unprofessional. Susana was sent to that branch of the company for a reason: Julieta was probably falling short on something or there may have been internal complaints against her that no one knows about.

Thanks Jarifa, it sure was fun tonight! The comedic stuff going on between Imelda and Crisanta was so funny!

I do get weary of Susana and all her yelling and her anger. I can totally understand why her children despise her. She cares more about her job than she does her family. It's all about money for her and family definitely does not come first for her. Looks like her ex is something of a medical missionary who probably works for very little and gives a lot of internal satisfaction as he helps others. He probably went far away to get away from her. But it's too bad he's so far from his kids.

I loved the way Julieta gave it right back to Susana. It's about time! And Susana had no right to tell her how to do the work she has been doing for such a long time and how much her administrative assistant can help her. She has her "duties as assigned" and that's what an administrative assistant does! Susana strikes me as the type who burns out the employees with way too many demands. Nobody wants to work for someone like that.

The moment of truth will be shown on Monday. What will Imelda tell Canuto?

Jarifa, thanks for another great recap, lots of details and a lot of fun to read!

I'm very much enjoying this TN, but some things are just silly. How could Imelda think she could paint a red line on the sidewalk that Crisanta is not allowed to cross? That's very silly.

About Susana's strictness and coldness: lots of people work more than perhaps they should, but they still find time for a hug and a kiss, and occasionally even time enough to talk. So the problem as I see it is not Susana's schedule or work ethic, but a psychological problem she has. It doesn't look like it would come from her parents. Maybe a problem with her husband? Time will tell.

Next week we should get to see the new people who are moving into the now vacant apartment and could and would pay a year's rent in advance. Also, now Canuto and Imelda have met and hopefully we will hear just what happened back when... and who or what is in the grave.

Cynthia, I agree it was good to see Julieta throw things right back at Susana.

:-)

Liking the show, but fast forwarding scenes with Imelda and Crisanta!. Kinda silly, but that’s me.

Jarifa, thanks for another great recap.

I think that both Susana and Julietta are acting unprofessionally. Susana is a very unhappy person who likes to get spread the unhappy around as much as possible. We probably all know someone like that. However, Julietta is petulant and cranky. She has a sweet, handsome, dinnercooking, matchingjammiewearing husband, two kids, a nice home. Nobody gets a perfect life. I always try to avoid yelling and being around yellers. It is good to go with the flow and ride with the tide.

Does anyone recognize the guy dancing with Susana in the intro?. Also, the model in the photo shoot looked familiar.

Susanlynn, it is Arath de la Torre with Susana. I will say no more lest I be accused of providing a “spoiler”.

Okay julieta is the man of the House is obvious What Robert says doesn’t matter she is lucky 🍀 Robert love ❤️ her unconditional if not their marriage wouldn’t have last ... cause she always wants things in her own way but only Robert can tolerate that. She is a great mom maybe because in real life she is s mom so that character really suits thou she is young.

Would Robert always tolerate that behavior though? And does he always have to? She's annoying as heck.

Jarifa, another jewel.

"A call from an angry Crisanta breaks the maudlin mood" is but one line showcasing your superb writing skills.

"A mother is like blood, she shows up when there is a wound without being called” made my eyes tear up. I thought that was amazing. A thaw in the relationship has been slow but steady. If only Julieta and Blanca can start to move as well in their relationship standoff.

"Robert tells her she has been a "super" mom, wife and professional and reminds her that life can change any moment and you have to learn how to change with it". How can you not love someone who is kind, generous and whose worst fault is to get slightly annoyed?? Doesn't hurt he is also "...handsome, dinnercooking, matchingjammiewearing" too Susanlynn. :)

"Dave looks on sadly as he witnesses the argument". Tough to watch. That poor child has been through so much and his parents need to tone it down.

"Julieta agrees that he knows how she is: structured". Umm, “rigid”and “unyielding” come to my mind. :) She has a sweet, handsome, dinnercooking, matchingjammiewearing husband

Julieta has never been particularly warm and fuzzy. But I understand she is angry and frustrated. Susana's behavior is reprehensible. Ironic that her husband is also a doctor, albeit an absentee one. ("Medical missionary" was great Cynthia!)Sebas is angry for feeling annoyed. He is a child though and children usually don't realize how deeply their words hurt. I like Axel but he is old enough to get over it and treat his mother with a little respect

Susana just can't get out of her own way. You can't expect anyone not to loathe you when it's evident you loathe yourself. "About Susana's strictness and coldness: lots of people work more than perhaps they should, but they still find time for a hug and a kiss, and occasionally even time enough to talk". So true Andy?

I enjoyed Imelda and Amalia's excellent adventure. Crisanta and Imelda are worthy adversaries. I'm also enjoying Amalia is not a characture this time out - no goofy expressions, they've allowed her character to be herself.

How low can Gabe and Dani's relationship woes sink to? I'm afraid to find out.

Susanlynn, that is Areth de la Torra. Not a favorite of mine whom I've not forgiven since Caer en tentación.

Jarifa, this was just great. What a way to start the day.

Happy Saturday all!

Diana

Jarifa, thanks for the masterfully written recap!

Susanlynn, ITA about Susana and Julieta...both quite unprofessional. Yesterday, someone mentioned that the company may have sent in Susana to improve operations. Keeping that in mind, Susana should have met with the staff and explained her goals and objectives and any issues that the company was worried about. Julieta has been there a long time, but sometimes a new, objective view can work wonders...though when that new person comes in like a tornado, turmoil and resistance is sure to follow.

Anon 9:26, Robert has always been extremely patient and tolerant of Julieta. I was glad to see him TRY to put her in her place last night though...and it seemed like she actually listened to most of it.

Seeing Sara Corrales do a cameo was a nice surprise...hoping they'll have other cameos scheduled in.

BTW, Axel is Zuria's RL brother!

Thanks, Jarifa. Great recap.

Cynthia, ditto everything you said. From day 1 Susana came in with a foul attitude and picked fights with Julieta. Kudos to Julieta for standing up to her. Neither is perfect, but Susana gives no respect.

Robert's helping burn victims, regardless of income. Susana's ex is doing missionary work where medical care is of dire need. So both Julieta and Susana seem kind of bitchy ranting at them. Anyway, glad Julieta came to her senses and compromised with Robert.

Susana, sorry things didn't work out with your husband but don't make your kid feel like you're doing him a favor by serving as the custodial parent, like you got stuck with him. Nothing loving in that.

Nice casting of Sebas and his dad, both with red hair and ruddy complexion.

Looking forward to Arath. Until Caer en Tentacion, I'd never seen him play evil.

My “old school” point of view: Susana is not the best mother by a long shot but she does take care of the material needs of her kids and for that fact alone both sons never should have been allowed to treat her with such disrespect from the very beginnings. My guess is that she feels guilty for not being able to be with them as much as she should have been or maybe wanted to. Why are the kids with her and not her husbanf? Why did her husband choose to help other children and leave his own marooned? Did he decide to follow his career goals in Africa and dump the kids on her? Does he just bop by and visit and play the good guy and let her play the day to day badcop? She should tell Axel to get his own place and send bratty Sebas to his father in Africa.

Andy, an excellent observation. A hug and a 💋 take only a second, but they can mean so much. Comments like this are why a daily visit to the patio is a good idea !

Chickie, hope you have all your chicks and goats in a row. It seems that your night prowler is long gone...I hopeo!

Isn't it nice that we just have yelling and crankiness instead of weekly murders?

Yes axel is Gonzalo Vega jr sister of zuria Vega and son of late Gonzalo Vega sr ... am happy he was featured in this tn the Vegas are very talented from their dad to their older sister marima Vega 💕

Another great recap Jarifa. You are doing a yeoman's job on this one. And I'm a bit Old School with you on the Susana situation. Yes, a loving, smiling, hugging Mom who bakes cookies and "is cheerfully always at home" is great but Susana's husband didn't give her that choice evidently. She's stressed and tired and cranky and clearly lacks "people skills" both with her sons and her fellow employees, but she's providing for her children as best she can.

I don't think any of us realize how taxing and exhausting it is to raise a family until we start raising our own. My mom was pretty rough on us as teenagers but after mine got into their teens, I forgave her each and every rant and slap.

Anyway, thanks for another great recap and a place for us all to rant and rave about the characters in this story. I see Julieta is really triggering a lot of strong opinions on the Patio. It's going to be an interesting ride.

OT-SusanLynn, my goats are doing well, except for one, Delilah, that passed away this past week...she went quickly. My chickens that sleep in a coop are doing just fine, but the flock that sleeps up in the trees has been reduced to about a fourth of what I used to have. My night prowler doesn’t come around as often, but it’s still out there. I haven’t been able to catch the darned thing!

Ot..oh, Chickie, I thought the night prowler had moved on. Do you still have the trap set up ? Maybe you need different bait. Be careful.

Just stopping by...haven’t watch telenovelas in a while wanted to stop into say hello! Looking to get back?

OT- Susanlynn, I do still have the trap set up and I have a rooster set up in cage right up against the trap, but it hasn't enticed the bobcat that I now call Phantom. It's a smart one...it has even learned how to avoid the cameras. This is the last image (taken 8/15) that resembles something the size of the bobcat. If you look closely, you can see what looks like ears at the very top of the "phantom." ->->->->->->->->->->->->->->->->->

Kendra, welcome back! Hope you stick around :-)

So sorry that your Phantom is a smart one, RgvChick. Camera-shy and crafty. Hopefully he'll move onto other hunting grounds eventually.
And welcome back Kendra. The best part about watching telenovelas is the Patio. Without that, why bother?

Kendra, welcome! This is a fun one and a great patio. JudyB said it best.

Yikes! RgvChick! I was hoping the big cat was a thing of the past!

Rgv Chick, I'm so sorry - about Delilah and the fact your chickens are being decimated.

What an elusive predator.

I know you are doing everything you can to keep everyone safe but you can't be everywhere every second. But I thought Susanlynn had a good idea about baiting the trap with something else (?)

What a worry this must be for you - keeping you in my prayers.

Diana

OT..Chickie. Hub has not seen any coyotes at our farm lately, but there were three longhorn steer roaming around by the barn the other day. Wild Kingdom.

Thank you for your recap, Jarifa. And so sorry to see you lost one of your goats. (((Hugs)))

So Gonzalo Vega is Zuria's brother! I enjoyed Marimar Vega in Silvana Sin Lana.

Canuto is Cowardo. Coming clean to Imelda is step one. Yikes.

Should be interesting and maybe fun to see who will live in the apartment in the Córsega building. Probably Susana and her boys, as plot propeller for more drama. Hope it's not Crisanta and Cowardo. There would be even more fur & feathers flying, AARP cat fights, etc.

OT: wow, Chickie, I thought the "Phantom" had moved on long ago. I think you named him right, a crafty and elusive intruder he is.

OT: the never ending TN, El Rico y Lázaro, is finally ending; it's in "ultimas semanas". I wonder what will replace it.

andy

doris, RgvChick lost one of her goats, not I. I do like goats, though!

Yes, Canuto seems to be quite a coward. I am feeling sorry for Crisanta at this point.

Andy, I am wondering, too.

Oops, sorry Jarifa! I got confused trying to catch up to all the posts.

RgvChick, I, so sorry you've lost a goat. They are such cute animals.

Andy..isn't El Rico the one that Kirby refers to as "God Wanted Me to Kill You?"

I do not own goats, but occasionally people in my orbit seem to be trying to get my goat. What is up with that?

Doris, good call. Maybe Susana will decide that she cannot live with her parents anymore and move into the vacant apartment..

Thank you all for your kindness and concern. Delilah went on to greener pastures and is quite happy and painfree, I’m sure :-)

SusanLynn, I’ve tried just about everything to bait Phantom and it’s just not interested; so I’m just going to build another coop and lock up the chickens for about a week hoping they get used to sleeping in a coop instead of up in the trees.

For some reason, I got the impression that the new renter is a male...don’t know why. Maybe it’ll be that Arath guy who is dancing with Susana in the credits.

RgvChick - I’ll bet you’re right about the renter.

Doris, your photo of the sunset is gorgeous. I gaze at it for a bit every time I read one of your comments. I might try painting it if I get some free time.

Susanlynn - 💕💕💕

OT: Susanlynn, yep, El Rico y Lázaro is the "God Wanted Me to Kill You" Brazilian Old Testament Biblical TN. Not usually my sort of TN, but I think this one was miles better than the usual. I can't say for sure as I always checked out the others during their premier week and always decided against watching.

Rgv Chick, a new coop sounds like a good idea. The chickens might not care for it at first but waking up alive might bring them around :-)

I'm looking forward to seeing who moves into the apartment tonight. They have been signaling that it's important.

"I do not own goats, but occasionally people in my orbit seem to be trying to get my goat. What is up with that?" Just laughed out loud Susanlynn.

"Rgv Chick, a new coop sounds like a good idea. The chickens might not care for it at first but waking up alive might bring them around :-)" Excellent Andy.

I'm looking forward to tonight too...

Diana

Me, too!
