Mi marido tiene más familia Friday 9/21/18 Capitulo 8 "It's All About Canuto: Part 2!"

Robert asks Julieta what's up. She tells him she suddenly has more work and she simply cannot stand Susana.

Blanca is at Daniela's store with Gabriel and Frida. Daniela tries to explain to Blanca their new idea to liven up their marriage and steer clear of "monotony". They do not want to get trapped by "what is expected" of married couples. Blanca thinks that should have thought of that before they got married in the church. Blanca wonders if they are having problems. She explains that sooner or later a marriage settles into a routine. Gabriel, being careful to be polite, makes the point that he supports his wife and adds that it is their relationship and they are going to do it their way even if they seem to be from Mars or whatever. Blanca has to smile.

Everyone is in Blanca's living room. Audifaz tells Blanca and Eugenio about how Pancho is such a great salesman but also about how he had a huge wad of cash on him. Something strange is going on with him. Polita adds to the suspicions by telling how Pablo gave a good quantity of money to a woman at the market. Blanca concludes the he could be involved in money laundering. Ari adds fuel to the fire by telling them how Temo said he could not talk about anything to do with his father. As they eat the sweet bread from the bakery, they keep surmising what could be going on. Frida asks if Pancho is a thief. Blanca is worried because their family are "good people."

Julieta is up working and Robert is wiping dishes in the kitchen and texting Tavo about whether he should tell Julieta about Canuto or not. Tavo tells him to tell her the truth. Robert explains how stressed out Julieta is and his aunt is her boss. Tavo still thinks he has to tell her. Julieta comes in and they talk about how much he is enjoying his course. She goes back to work and he texts Tavo that he just can't deal with this.

Back to the living room where Eugenio is reminiscing about his father when he was growing up, the kids are interested in hearing all about him. Blanca says they always talked about him as being such a gentleman. Ari says they really never heard much about how he died. Eugenio explains that it was somewhere on the highway. Imelda wanted to avoid them suffering so she kept the details to herself. Imelda, who has been listening, comes in and Frida asks her to please tell them all about her great grandfather. Imelda thinks that the dead should be left to rest in peace. She is not going to say anymore. She leaves.

Daniela wakes up and Gabriel is standing looking out of the window. He does not answer her when she asks him what he is doing. She cannot wake him up.

Eugenio is still moaning while he sleeps. Blanca loves her Eugenio but goes to another room to sleep.

We see Imelda sitting on her bed thinking about Canuto as he is in bed thinking about her.

While Robert is driving Dave to school the next day with Blanquita in the car, Julieta calls Robert from work to tell him that they are going to need his mother to watch Blanquita. She hopes she does not mind. Robert assures her there is no problem. In the meantime, Susana comes up to Julieta and personally tells her the meeting is about to start. Julieta explains she is having an issue at home. Susana tells her not to bring her home problems to the office. Julieta is incensed. Robert tells her to count to twenty. His mother will be more than happy to take care of Blanquita. Julieta is silent.

Pancho's kids arrive at school for their first day. Ari invites Temo over to meet the rest of the guys. Julio and Lupita seem to fit right in.

At the apartment building, Blanca sees Pancho in the hall and decides to talk to him, just the two of them. She wants to know who or what he is running from. The Córcega's are good people. She doesn't want problems. She suspects he is running from the mafia. Pancho look up like a kicked dog.

Eugenio tells Robert that he is hurt because Blanca went to go sleep somewhere else and left him all alone in bed. What kind of married couples sleep apart? He is also worried about Imelda who is talking less and less. Yesterday she wouldn't even talk about his dad.

Blanca thinks it would be better that Pancho just told her the truth so they could be prepared. She is afraid he is laundering money. With a defeated look and tears in his eyes, Pancho tells Blanca that he is trying to escape something much worse than the police. He breaks down as he repeats "much worse". Blanca hugs him to comfort him. Pancho hangs on to her for dear life as he continues crying. Robert walks in on them in the hall with Blanquita and looks concerned. He calls to his mother and asks if she still is busy with "this man". Pancho tries to explain but Robert doesn't look interested in hearing an explanation. Blanquita starts to fuss so Blanca goes to take her.

After they get Blanquita calmed down, Blanca tells Robert about Pancho. She feels like the new neighbor is hiding something; a secret of some sort. That is why he hugged her. She hopes Robert understands. It doesn't seem like he does understand but he says he didn't know the guy and they seemed to be so friendly. Blanca laughs and thinks she is seeing her son being jealous. Robert tries to make it clear he isn't jealous as Blanca smiles. She is happy to take care of the baby and she is always happy to see him if only for a couple of minutes. She doesn't want to sound "intense" but some days she sees him and feels like she just found him and is going to lose him all over again. She thinks back to the day in the market when she went into labour and he went missing. Robert promises he will always be there for her and all of his family.

Blanca then asks him what is up. She can tell something is bothering him. Robert tells Blanca that she will have to keep what he is going to tell her a secret. He has to tell her because it involves Eugenio, Imelda and on top of it all, his relationship with Julieta which could be at risk. Canuto is alive in Oaxaca and that is why Imelda has been acting so strangely. Blanca cannot believe they have been visiting an empty tomb for all of these years. Why would have Imelda done such a mean thing? Robert suggests out of anger or spite. . . Imelda told him Canuto cheated on her with another woman and Robert also knows who "the other woman" is. Her business is right next to Imelda's. They know each other professionally but not really who the other one is. It gets worse because their Corcega's are already involved with the other Córcega's. Imelda wants him to stay quiet but Robert doesn't see that as a solution. Canuto is also his patient. Robert feels like his marriage is threatened because Canuto's daughter is Susana Julieta's boss. Julieta hates her and calls her the "monster." Robert is worried about Julieta, who is stressed out already finding out that her enemy is an in-law. Blanca decides they need a hot chocolate and some pan dulce (sweet bread).

Susana is running her meeting about the new catalog. Their goal as a company is that each new catalog be better than the previous one. Julieta's phone vibrates. Casandra has sent her a text. Casandra has a problem in the reception area. It turns out that Casandra advertised the nanny position on social media and the office is teaming with applicants. She tells them they will only be seeing those who already have set up an appointment. That is not what the applicants want to hear. She decides to take them from the reception area and put them in Julieta's office instead. Casandra explains the problem to Julieta. Casandra put the job offer out on Facebook to a limited audience who must have shared it with others. They have thirteen applicants. Julieta only wanted three. Casandra feels like they are casting "Mary Poppins". Julieta takes a moment to think about what they are going to do and two more applicants arrive.

Julieta tries to explain the situation to the applicants in her office. She is only interested in interviewing three nannies. The women are not happy. Julieta and Casandra cannot get them organized. She tries to hide them from Susana in her office but cannot.

Daniela asks Gabriel if he is tired. He says he is. She laughs and teases Gabriel but doesn't tell him exactly what he was doing last night. She insists it is time to work on bills instead.

Back at Blanca's, Blanca thinks that Imelda pretending that Canuto is dead is so out of character for Imelda because of her penchant for "rules". What to to do? Blanca doesn't want to cover up the lie. Robert says it is Imelda's decision. He and Blanca will stick together on this one.

Dr. Vicente, who is Susana's ex, is face-timing with Robert from Africa. They are discussing burn treatments. Robert discusses how his foundation covers all of the patients' expenses. That is why he needs Dr. Vicente's help.

Robert discusses the Imelda/Canuto issue with Tavo. He tells her how his mother doesn't want to be party to the lie. His father and his uncles have a right to know that their father is alive. Robert thinks he has to solve this. Tavo says it is not his place to tell them about it. Yes, he should tell Julieta. That is his place. Tavo says she will find out anyway so he should tell her and ask her to be prudent.

In Susana's office, she tells Julieta she is not being professional by having applicants come to the office. First, it was her baby screaming in the office and now nannies all over the place. When Julieta complains about not having time to interview nannies, Susana tells her that she can do it on the weekend. She also has another bit of information for Julieta. She has decided to push up the catalog production. Julieta cannot believe it. Julieta goes back to her office and tells the crowd that she will only be interviewing the three candidates that have an appointment. Casandra starts to move them out.

Blanca talks with Eugenio in the bakery. She never knew that he missed his dad so much. Eugenio mentions that she left him alone in bed. It is not a marriage with her not there. She tries to reassure him. Love doesn't change just because two people aren't sharing the same bedroom. She tells him that he also has to do his part by going to physical therapy. She left him alone because she had to get some sleep. Eugenio mentions how he feels his father is nearby somehow. He takes out the red toy car and talks about waiting for his father and the car and how his father never came back.

Axel comes to see Robert because he is worried that Canuto's wound is not healing. Robert asks what Axel knows about Canuto's general health. Axel is confused but Robert cannot tell him anything due to privacy laws. He is worried, too, about "their" grandfather. Robert says he hasn't told the family yet about Canuto being alive. They think about the repercussions.

At home, Canuto is getting his luggage ready again to skip town but suddenly doesn't feel so well. He sits down to rest.

Julieta has interviewed Yolanda and asks her to to come back tomorrow on Saturday. Julieta is tired but Susana's office calls. She has to go to a get-together downstairs.

Pancho goes to see Blanca. He loves the smell of the food she is making. He wants to decorate the apartment and to make it really nice for his children. He would like her opinion. She says okay and they can take advantage of the fact that Blanquita is taking a nap. Joke time: Pancho barely launders his socks so how could he launder money.

It is "courtship activity time" Gabriel has to learn how to dance. Daniela and he dance in the shop. He still wants to know what he did last night. She doesn't know if she is is going to tell him.

Blanca goes across the hall to help Pancho organize the apartment while they have a laughing good time. Pancho says that he is good for "proverbs, joke and parody." Unfortunately the mood is quickly shattered when she touches a box and Pancho gets upset and snatches it away from her. He cradles it in his arms. She doesn't understand why. He says the box is his stuff. Blanca is angry. Pancho wants to be her friend then he acts so rudely. He tries to apologize clinging to his box. What does he want anyway? Blanca tells him he is very strange indeed and leaves.

Julieta is at the get-together with Susana. Susana has news for her and the rest of the staff. They are working on the new catalogue tomorrow! on Saturday! When Julieta starts to complain, Susana announces that tomorrow they are going to start working on many of Julieta's concepts. Susana congratulates her and all of her colleagues applaud.

Canuto is hurriedly putting his belongings in his truck to make a run for it. Robert shows up to talk to him. Canuto is pleased he called him grandfather. Did Robert talk to Imelda? Yes, he did and she wants to keep quiet about everything. Robert is really there to try to get Canuto into some intensive treatment possibly experimental treatment for his burn with tilapia (fish) skin. Yes, Canuto knows all about tilapia. He was a fisherman in Baja California. Canuto thanks Robert for worrying about him.

Eugenio gives in and goes to see Axel for his therapy.

Robert is serving dinner to Dave when Julieta arrives complaining she has to work on Saturday. She also has a nanny lined up. Robert doesn't know why they just can't use his mother rather than leaving the children with somebody they do not know. Julieta says she is just trying to find solutions. David is upset.

Pancho has a good time with his kids but then he is depressed so he goes into the dining room where he thinks back on the love he lost looking at a framed photo. We see his wife and his twins when they were babies. Temo evidently knows what happened. He tells Pancho not to blame himself. What happened was not his fault.

Julieta is angry that Robert didn't tell her about who Canuto really was. She is angry that he wasn't honest as they had promised to be with each other. He knew they were related to Susana. She will never forgive him.

This just keeps my interest night after night. Poor Pancho and his box of memories! What if Robert really was jealous as Blanca believes?
It was rather cruel of Daniela not to tell Gabriel he was sleepwalking,

Thank you for your recap, Jarifa!

I look forward to watching this tomorrow. If I get to sleep tonight. A skunk has left it's odoriferous calling card entirely too close to our house outside, on a warm, humid, rainy night, and it smells .... yuckky.... inside. ~eeewwwww~

"Blanca decides they need a hot chocolate and some pan dulce (sweet bread)." Personally, I would need something stronger than hot chocolate after that news. ;-)

"Axel is confused but Robert cannot tell him anything due to privacy laws." Waaaaaait a minute! Hold the phone, Alice! Whaaaaat??? There are privacy laws in Mexico? After all the telenovelas I've watched that seem to have absolutely none??? Qué????? (lol)

Jarifa: It was a good recap & WTH is Daniela's problem ?

Another great recap Jarifa. Thanks. I hope we're not setting up some AARP Jealousy Situation with Blanca sleeping elsewhere, Eugenio feeling abandoned, and then Blanca spending so much time with Pancho. But that seems to be looming on the horizon.

Get very tense reading about Julieta's conflicts at the office, much less seeing and hearing it! Wow. But I guess the drama keeps moving this one along at a fast clip.

Does the slow healing of Canuto's burn indicate he may have diabetes. I assume we're going to be having some public service announcement coming along with this about health care. All to the good. Get the message out anyway you can.

Thanks again, hard-working recapper! And somehow missed Nina's announcement about a new job, but wishing you luck Nina. I imagine you would liven up any work environment with your lively sense of humor and unique way of expressing things.

Doris, my condolences on the skunk. Happens all the time around here. Resident skunk and free-roaming dogs at night. But the worst was one summer when we had a bullfrog living in someone's swimming pool. You can't believe the noise they make at 3 am.

Julie needs to relax and just let things happen. The poor boy at the dinner table was getting upset as her hysteria was heightening! She needs therapy cause her hatred of anything not going her way is too much. Also while there she can address her hatred of the corsegas. And her childish behavior. The poor dr hubby has a long way with this one.

Funny julie's dr hubby was telling Blanche about her sufferring of not being with her kids cause of work. The way i see this: she still chose her job over her kids. Lots of moms chose to work parttime or just stay with the kids til theyre old enough. Julie clearly chose her job over the baby.

She's gonna be Susie someday!

Jarifa, so clever and complete. Outstanding.

"Pancho look up like a kicked dog" could not have been more descriptive!

"Gabriel, being careful to be polite, makes the point that he supports his wife and adds that it is their relationship and they are going to do it their way even if they seem to be from Mars or whatever. Blanca has to smile" - so well written.

Judy, yes, Canuto does have diabetes...

"Imelda thinks that the dead should be left to rest in peace". Yes, but the guilty often cannot rest. Think Marley. And now, Canuto :)

"He calls to his mother and asks if she still is busy with "this man". I had to smile. This happened at some point in the first installment too. I think in his heart, Robert resents any show of affection from Blanca to non-family members. I think he missed so many kisses and hugs as a child, it bothers to see them given to others.

"Blanca decides they need a hot chocolate and some pan dulce (sweet bread"). Don't we all!? :)

I understand Julieta is stressed out and think no one should be forced to resign because their boss is a "monster". She needs to find a balance. Still, her words to Robert were terrible and she should not hurt the person she loves the most. She's quite the crank.

Good luck with the skunk doris.

I think Gabe isn't sleepwalking but knows full well what he's doing! Heaven only knows what with these two. But I love they are fighting for their relationship.

I'm thinking Pancho's wife is deceased? Perhaps due to a car accident?? Speculation only.

Jarifa, excellent. Thank you so much!

Diana

Thanks, Jarifa. Terrific recap. I second Diana on my favorite: Gabriel, being careful to be polite, makes the point that he supports his wife and adds that it is their relationship and they are going to do it their way even if they seem to be from Mars or whatever. Blanca has to smile.

Hmmm, wondering how Julieta found out about Canuto.

Nina, congrats on your new job! But you must visit and drop us some free verse.

Doris, a skunk? Ay! I can't imagine. Hope its trace fades fast.

I like Julieta but her attitude with Robert isn't too flattering right now. I expect she'll be apologizing to him soon and realizing her shock is nothing compared to how Eugenio and his brothers are going to feel.

I do feel sorry for Imelda. She made a terrible mistake and then stuck to it for 58 years. But back in the day, there was a stigma in being a divorced woman. Boy is she about to pay for her big lie.

Well, I made a comment, but it disappeared , so I will try again!

Thank you, Jarifa.

It looks as though Cannoto is a runner who runs from problemos rather than deal with them.

Anonymous, I have to agree with you. Julieta appears cranky that she cannot have It all. I worked part-time while my girls were little and my mother and mother-in-law babysat. Roberto is a doctor , so he must be making a decent salary. Susana and Julieta and Susana both appear to be unhappy 😡😡 dissatisfied people. Nobody gets everything that he or she wants and a perfect life.

Skunk smell was gone by this morning, as is the norm. Our next door neighbors had one get under their house then die and release his "perfume." Ugh, that smell lingered for days and they had to get profe$$ional remediation done on the odor. 😜 they had to spend one night in a hotel die to the smell.

In the scene of the cklass buffet dinner, does anyone know that piece of incidental music that was played? It sounded so familiar, perhaps I heard it in another telenovela ?

Doris, glad the skunk scent has dissipated. They wander around here, too.

I was too busy trying to figure out the dishes being served at the buffet and didn't notice the music.

It happened so fast...we see Julie is yelling at Robert about hiding the fact he knew about all of the new Corsiegas! Whoa....who told her? Was it a dream, Robert was having? Did I miss something ?

Yikes! A skunky adventure! So glad the stench was short-lived, doris.

More mañana . . .

Jarifa, thank you very much, great recap.

Does Robert do all the housework? :-)

Diana, I like your theory that perhaps Pancho's wife is deceased, maybe due to a car accident. Perhaps the money he has is from an insurance settlement? Maybe he is so free with the money because he feels guilty about receiving it due to his wife's death and wants to get rid of it... or maybe not :-)

Time will tell.

doris.: "Axel is confused but Robert cannot tell him anything due to privacy laws." Waaaaaait a minute! Hold the phone, Alice! Whaaaaat??? There are privacy laws in Mexico?

Good question; perhaps not a law, but professional ethics at least. Still, they could have given each other good and helpful clinical information, and isn't such information often given to family members who might assist in the patient's care? We need a medical ethicist here :-)

That final scene with an enraged Julieta just came out of nowhere. Was it in Robert's imagination?

andy

Andy, good question about who is doing the household chores. Let's put it this way, the only one I have seen wearing an apron is Roberto. P.s. He looks good in it, but it is not a very fair situation. Exactly what does Julietta have to be so cranky about? #dreamhubby

IMHO, Robert seems to have more free time than Julieta, so why would he not be doing all he can at home? It is pure luck that he also seems to enjoy keeping the home fires burning. There is no reason that women or men cannot have it all if they all get out of gender role thinking and truly support each other.

Julieta is the crankster, isn’t she? Perfectionist? High maintenance? Robert is the perfect balance for her. Yes, she and Susana are very similar. I wonder if they will be friends by the end of this.

What stunned me is whiny Daniela’s quick disenchantment with her marriage. I never saw that coming. It promises to be a interesting story arc.

It also promises to be a beautiful day. We are 49 degrees this a.m. Sunny with a high of 72. Perfection!

Except Julie doesn't really support her hubby? He's the one trying to keep the peace there. Remember she didn't want him to take the course with the Dr sans borders guy? Cause it wasnt the right time for her! And everyone in Oaxaca knows this lady can't do housechores. She hates them and can't cook either. Julie barely compromises with hubby too. Her jokes tend to be passive aggressive. She has a serious dislike of hubby's family, where it borders offensive, and the dr hubby seems to get ticked by it already. She doesn't compromise, that household goes her way or the highway.

Julie needs to get over herself. And pull her weight around that house.

Good Sunday Morning, Patio! It's a cool 78 for the RGV today with some good rain that we got last night.

I had forgotten what a "crankster" Julieta was...aside from being selfish, controlling, uncompromising and some other things others have already mentioned...but I've always liked her wardrobe :-) She's met her match with Susana and she does not like it. SusanLynn, the only thing Julieta has to be cranky about is her perception of not being in control and not having her way all the time. Robert is a saint for putting up with her.

I can't believe Robert confided in Blanca once more. How many times did he confide in her during Season 1 and she could never keep a secret?

JudyB, regarding the AARP jealousy situation, I thought the exact same thing when Blanca was enjoying helping Pancho fix up the room; it's a perfect set up for some extreme jealousy from Eugenio. and As Diana noted from Robert too!

Andy, "That final scene with an enraged Julieta just came out of nowhere. Was it in Robert's imagination?" That did seem to come from left field, didn't it? I'm with Anon 2:57; I think he's dreaming. There is no way Julieta could have found out so quickly...at least It don't think so!

Jarifa, "What stunned me is whiny Daniela’s quick disenchantment with her marriage. I never saw that coming." That certainly was a stunner...and she is already feeling the monotony of marriage? How long have they been married...a year or so?? That marriage is doomed if she is already that frustrated.

Doris, glad your skunk smell went away so quickly. Some time back, a skunk got into my front patio. When my dogs starting barking, it left quickly, but not before spraying my front door...pheee-eww!!

"Julieta is the crankster, isn’t she? Perfectionist? High maintenance? "
Yes, that and everyone else's comments. Julieta is the daughter of DQ Cat a/k/a Drama Queen Catalina. Perhaps the fruit did not fall far from the tree, after all.

I guess that is another thing about this novela I really like. None of the characters is "perfect". They are very believable and so easy to identify with just because of their imperfections. NOT that I am saying I can identity with any of them out there. . . LOL

I suppose every couple has to work out their own way of doing things. Daniela is unlikely to ask Gabriel to fix something around the house... at least not without checking their fire insurance policy first.

Robert seems quite content doing most or all the housework, and really likes doing a lot of things, such as the cooking.

Julieta is definitely a cranky lady, she and Robert (no more Juan Pablo?) are a good match, but she might put a little more effort into the relationship, and I don't mean housework. She and Blanca are also an interesting combination (as in "compare and contrast").

Jarifa: "There is no reason that women or men cannot have it all..." Where can I get some of whatever it is you're tippling? Is it legal? Oh, legal schmegal, who cares?

:-)

:-)

andy

Hi, everybody,

Chilly here...only 68 and overcast. We have not seen the sun much lately.

When did the strong woman theme morph into the cranky woman theme.?....so many crabby, dissatisfied women and long suffering men. What's up with that? Exactly what doesn't Dani like about married life? I wonder if the writers are men or women.

As for the AARP triangle , in Outlander , the main couple ages but remains lusty and in love. Have you heard of "manga" ( Japanese graphic comics)? Well, there's a subgenre about mature love . One title is "Like Shooting Stars in the Twilight." Not all cultures are quite so youth oriented as ours. Chris and Imelda are still firecrackers .

Well, it is nice to have the weekend to catch up on chores....I am still catching up !!! Tonight, a birthday dinner for one of our grandgirls. Tomorrow back to early mornings. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, all .

OT.. Chickie, are you still watching the Hallmark channel and the Hallmark drama channels ? I like to watch the Dr. Quinn reruns. The romance movies are formulaic (big city big job girl returns to her hometown of some other small-town and falls in love with her high school beau or some easygoing stranger. However, they are a nice break from the news!!!

Anonymous??????.....is that you kirby????

How'd she bust you?
"Man I don't know. You know how women have that ESP thing. You can't fool them."

In addition to some wry, fun comments, what a delight to see your avatars Rgv Chick and Kirby joining doris'glorious shot.

Extraordinarly color Rgv Chick.

Kirby, although I enjoy your solo subjects, duos are even more wonderful. Just incredible.

Thinking about what lies ahead for the week is daunting Sunday night, but I feel lighter.

Thank you.

Diana

Wow...I too love the avatars. We're really got a beautiful mix right now. And Susanlynn, had to laugh, my husband watches hour after hour of cable news, gets all upset and worked up, and tries to recover with Hallmark stories where everything ends happily ever after. Definitely a better choice than the news right now.

I'm still embroiled in the very wicked doings of Rubi. What a supremely wicked woman. But drop dead gorgeous.

Happy Monday everybody. I've got a day of walking, yardwork, housework and then the topper, getting a double crown. Don't know which is worse, the physical pain or the financial pain!

JudyB - FWIW, a couple years ago, hubby and I watched no TV while on vacation. After returning home, I boycotted TV news, especially anything regarding politics on either side. My blood pressure top number had dropped by 10-15 points and stayed down with the 'no TV news' diet. I am happier, too, because I'm not ticked off most of the time. 😎
Last time BP was checked, it was 105/65 or70. Yay!!!

JudyB - oh noes, Double crown is the pits. We can go broke together over dental expen$e$. Hopefully hubby's third root canal is the last one for a very long time.

Love your blood pressure/no TV news story Doris. I think I'm going to try and follow your example. I also get worked up with my digital subscription to a major newspaper...probably not the right way to start my morning. Blood pressure has always been good, but my frame of mind definitely needs improving! I'll try and follow your wise advice. Outrage can get addictive, can't it?

JudyB, good luck on your dental work. I cannot imagine a “double” crown work or price.

If Dani didn't come from a very traditional family, she and Gabriel would've lived together instead of making it formal. Gabriel brought the crazy into Dani's life and is in no way routine (so much so that they don't have food in the fridge and he can't process sales orders). So it's strange she's complaining of "monotony." But by all means, it's their marriage and they should do it their way (but no doubt one day they'll need help from the in-laws just like Julieta-Roberto do now).

To me, the difference between Julieta and Susana is that Julieta is not mean. Susana takes out her frustrations with her own personal life by putting the squeeze on Julieta. She also takes out her frustrations with her ex on Sebas, though yes Axel is grown and should be out of the house.

JudyB, sending good vibes on your dental work. May you sleep well tonight after it's all over.

Sorry so late to post! Thanks Jarifa!!!

Am I the only one thinking that the writers have run out of ideas for the Dani/Gabi relationship? They used to be my fav thing in season 1 but I'm finding all of their scenes somewhat boring.

Susana making everyone come into work on Saturday is just her way of punishing people. She cries over her kids saying she's never there and yet she continues to work late and on weekends? Doesn't care to learn or change but wants everyone to be unhappy with her.

Canuto the runner! Another sign that he is solely to blame for leaving his children fatherless. But I know redemption is coming, like a plague.

I feel like all of the hardwork Blanca did on herself last season is gone. She complained that she didn't have a life of her own, always taking care of the children and putting them first. So now she has an empty nest and she complains that she can't care for the grandchildren enough. Woman, go get a hobby outside the home! What happened to your language lessons?

Happy Monday.

A double crown! Judy, I've not even heard of that...my heavens, wishing you relief and quickly!

"Gabriel brought the crazy into Dani's life" - so true Niecie!

"Canuto...But I know redemption is coming, like a plague". Carvivlie, I could not have said it any better myself. Not a fan.

Kirby, how kind of you to post such a glorious shot. The colors are incredible but most amazingly, it is as though you could reach up and touch it. Mad skills.

Diana

Oh my, the patio has been busy bees while I was teaching.

Kirby, you know that I love moon photos. This latest is gorgeous..Bella Luna ! Thanks!

Judyb, it is 3.04 here , and I am hoping that your dental visit his behind you. I have a very nice dentist, but I do not like going to him .

I wish that I could give up the tv 📺news cold turkey, but I am afraid that I will miss something important. luckily, my blood pressure is fine. We just cancelled the newspaper after getting by it for many years because they missed delivering it often and delivered it when we went on vacations and asked them not to. Now, Huh just picks up the Sunday paper that has the coupons.

Well,we will see what happens tonight.
