Amar A Muerte - Main Characters

Lucia Borges: a beautiful, elegant, "with it" woman who, in her youth, was forced into prostitution by her mother.  She runs off to Mexico City and starts working at Grupo Carvajal, where she meets and marries Leon in order to leave poverty in her past.  She and her lover, Johny Corona, are betting on the swift death of Leon.

El Chino” Valdez: a rough, recluse of a man, loaded with resentment,  He's attractive, but with a gruff, rugged appearance.  He ws condemned to death by electric chair for the murder of a federal judge.  His soul with come to rest in the body of a boring university professor  He will use the man's body to conceal himself from his old enemies.

Leon Carvajal: Magnate of the Mexican Media.  He's charismatic, cultured and refined, worldly and sophisticated, and good-hearted.  He has the picture perfect family, three adult children and a new (typical trophy) wife 34 yrs. his junior.  After coming back to life, he discovers his wife's betrayal with his friend and right hand man, Johny as well as his children's secrets.  In his new skin, Leon will have the chance at revenge and he will risk falling in love again with the same woman.

Beltran Camacho: He's an Anthropology professor, has a wife, Alicia, a son, Javier, who suffers from a terrible malady.  He's vegetarian and neither drinks nor smokes.  He takes few risks in life, is studious, and rather drab and humdrum.  His students adore him, but his wife got bored with him years ago.  Once El Chino's soul settles in him, he will begin to change.

John Corona: He is indispensible at Grupo Carvajal, an expert in Finance and Leon's right hand man despite his youth.  He puts on a great act and can feign indignation like nobody's business.  He not only uses his talent for numbers to dazzle but also to steal his money.  He's a social climber, to the point of deciding he will not only take Don Leon's empire, but his deliciously tempting wife as well.

OMGosh, Jardinara, this is EXCELLENT, thank you! The pics are amazing!

I'm unable to watch (no time!) but I stopped by to say I *love* the screenshot. The pic of Lucia looks like Jessica Rabbit.

I'm definitely watching this. Haven't had time to see last night's episode completely but will before the night is through. This one is really interesting.

I hate that way they dress John Corona, he looks like a dweeb.
