Amar A Muerte, 1/3/2019, Episode 42: Gunfight at the (Not-So) OK Corral OR Cold Shoulder for Red-Hot Lips

In the company board room, Lucía asks the three amigos, Barretos, Cardenas, and Requeña, what is going on, Barretos lies and tells her that they were just discussing getting together during the week-end and including their wives. When she asks about the “dirt” on her, Barretos nose grows even bigger when he tells her that they were just commenting on her interview regarding Armenta; they are hoping that won’t tarnish her image. After she thanks them for their concern, she asks to speak alone to Barretos.

In his office, Johny is questioning the chief photographer who tells him that the entire photography department was present at the event. When Johny asks if anyone else has access to those photos, the man assures him that no one has access; the photos were sent directly to Don Carvajal’s e-mail. Johny suggests that the photo may have been sent to someone else, but the man (as he reaches for the photo and practically gets a slap on his hand from Johny) assures him that the protocol has always been the same.

At the boardroom, Lucía is now alone with Barretos and asks him if he isn’t going to tell her what he and his partners were talking about. After Barretos reiterates his lie, Lucía drops it and hands him a notebook with a proposal of all the programming changes she wants made in the various forms of media they have. She wants his opinion. When he asks if she only wants his opinion or that of others, she confirms that, for now, she just wants his opinion. She wants to know what he thinks of her now since he has had a nefarious opinion of her up to now and has been on Eva’s side. Barretos still doesn’t understand what she wants; so Lucía explains that there are three ways of doing things; the correct way, the wrong way, and the way she does things. Barretos agrees to read her proposal.

In the bat cave, LCJ types an anonymous e-mail to Guille (Wow, in addition to being a Hawtie, he’s a great typist!). He states that it would be wise to conduct a full review of the all the financial transactions that have been made since the death of his father. In addition to that, he asks if it isn’t odd that the Carvajal Group is now supporting a candidate that his father refused to support all his life. SSssssss...the sound of bacon on a hot griddle.

In his office, Guille finishes reading the e-mail when Eva comes in to ask why it is that Mayela is now saying that there is nothing between them. Guille responds that it is true…there is nothing between them. Eva brings up the party and the kiss; so Guille explains that all of it was a misunderstanding…they are just friends. Eva warns him to be careful since Mayela has just started her program in their company; and Mayela could come out losing. Guille, however, thinks that the gossip could benefit Mayela and increase her ratings. Eva hopes so because, if not, Guille will have to come up with another star for the program. As she leaves, Eva reminds Guille about the meeting with the programmers, but Guille has no clue what she is talking about. When Eva asks if his secretary is not keeping him informed, Guille tells her that it was he who simply forgot about the meeting. After Eva leaves, Guille quickly gets up to check Renata’s desk—Nopis! Not there!

Renata is at home poking at her cereal as she speaks to Keila on the phone. When Keila tells her that there is chaos since Mayela made the announcement that she and Guille are not ‘novios,’ Renata insists that she saw them kissing at the party and hugging in his office. Keila doesn’t know about that; what she does know is that Mayela is taking a hit since she is now discrediting something that she announced in the first place. Keila tries to convince Renata to talk to Guille, but Renata sticks to her guns; she already quit and isn’t going back to work…the story that never was with Guille is now finished (nice little drama, Queen Reni!) After she ends the call, Renata thinks about her kiss with Guille and forsakes herself for thinking about it.

In SA, Beltrino and Barb are sitting on a ledge as Beltrino is instructing Barb on using a walkie-talkie and what she will need to do (good luck with that, Beltie!). Barb doesn’t want to be there when the shooting starts, but Beltrino tells her that he needs her for his plan…he needs her to take care of the rabbit and to shut up. (Maybe Rabbit part optional ?)   Barb wants to know exactly what she is supposed to do…and reassurance that nothing will happen to her. Beltrino, however, tells her that the sure thing he knows about the life he led is that you never know how things will turn out…as he arms his BIG rifle. Meanwhile, at the scorpion’s nest, Lupita tells Marino that El Chino is not going to appear. When she reminds him that they are going to kill her and asks that he let her go, Marino quickly gets up and tells her he can’t do that…if he does, he will be the one that they kill.

Alacrán and gang arrive at the airport in SA. Alacrán reminds them that the job today is very important…he will be taking El Chino’s head to Don Terecio as a surprise. Back at the nest, Mugres goes in to bother Lupita. As he gropes her, Marino arrives and pulls her off him…which causes Mugres’s blade to fall near Lupita. As they fight, Lupita grabs and hides the blade. Mugres finally leaves after he tells Marino that he isn’t going to forget that he messed with him.

At the Carvajal home, Juls is by the pool when Vale brings her a drink, but she refuses it. Juls is frustrated and cries because they won’t answer her calls; she thinks Alacrán isn’t answering because he already killed her mother. Vale thinks that they need to think positively or they will get in bad shape. Juls hates her father…all of this is happening because of him. When she tells Vale that she doesn’t know what she will do if something happens to her mother, Vale responds that no one can replace her mother…but Juls has Vale. Vale then suggests that they swim a while as a distraction. Juls agrees as they look at the pool with floating daisies and rose petals…oh my, precursor of things to come! Once Vale leaves to get the swim suits, LCJ is seen in the background by a tree and looking at Juls.

At Alacrán’s nest, Lupita is alone; so she takes out the blade and cuts herself free. She slowly goes outside, but is stopped by Marino. As he asks her where she is going, Mugres comes from behind and shoots him…dead. He turns and grabs Lupita as he tells her that he isn’t going to kill her because he doesn’t want problems with the boss, but by the time she leaves there, she will be just as stiff as Marino. As he takes her back to the laundry room, Lupita pleads with Mugres to let her go. Mugres agrees (yeah, sure!), but she has to pay him first with a favor. Think, think, think, now what could he be getting at?  I bet he wants a free Lotto ticket Loopi.

At the company, Mayela is in her dressing room arguing with someone on the phone and telling them that she won’t be giving any interviews until things settle down. Just then, Guille arrives to ask how she is doing. After he th anks her for clearing things up, Maye-la-charmer tells him she would do anything to get his trust back. Once Guille tells her she has accomplished that, Mayela takes advantage of the opportunity and asks if that means he will go out with her that night. Guille stutters before telling her he has to go out right now, but he will let her know later (bad idea to string her along, buddy!). Mayela accepts his response, but warns him that everyone will be asking for him.

At the Carvajal pool, Juls and Vale are in the water surrounded by the floating daisies and rose petals. Vale wants Juls to try to forget about everything and relax for a while. She then suggests that they have a swimming lesson and Juls agrees. Vale holds her gently as Juls tries to float. Vale encourages Juls and slowly lets her go until Juls is floating on her own. Vale then holds Juls’s hand as Vale floats beside Juls. They finally stand laughing and giggling as the hold each other. After Vale tells Juls that she is very proud of her, they continue to hold each other as they get closer and kisssss…   Now, about that Rabbit,,,

In her apartment, Renata watches Vicky’s show as Vicky talks about the relationship between Guille and Mayela. Vicky announces that everyone’s question is: are they or are they not “novios?” As suggested by Mayela, Vicky gives her professional opinion and states that public figures normally don’t like people talking about their private lives. Vicky continues, but Renata turns off the TV not wanting to hear anymore. Just then, the doorbell rings. When she opens the door, Guille stands there looking like a little school boy who knows he’s on trouble.
In SA, Alacrán and his men arrive to meet El Chino in a nice, expensive silver Lincoln truck. Meanwhile, Beltrino watches from a rooftop ready with his BIG high-powered rifle. As the men look around and are suspicious about the place, Beltrino sends a message asking about Lupita. The men duck and hide like the rats they are; Alacrán calls the number to see if he can locate El Chino, but hears nothing. Beltrino sends another message again asking for Lupita and adding that he even brought Alacrán a rabbit. After Alacrán reads it, Beltrino wonders where Lupita could be. He then calls Barb and tells her to release the rabbit. When Barbara releases the rabbit, Beltrino gets ready…

At Renata’s place, Renata hands Guille a glass of water and asks why he came over. Guille wants to talk about her resignation; it was somewhat unprofessional since she left without notice. When he asks what happened, Renata tells him that she no longer felt comfortable there and preferred to leave. Guille questions further and asks if he treated her badly; Renana responds that at first, he did treat her badly. When she tries to continue, Guille tells her not to use Castillo as an excuse; he’s just not going to believe that one. Renata wants to leave well enough alone, but Guille insists and asks if it has to do with what happened between them. Renata slowly turns to him and admits that, yes, that is the reason.

In SA, Gancho spots the rabbit that is hopping toward him. As the rabbit approaches, Alacrán (or someone dressed like him) steps out and bends to get the rabbit. As he does, Beltrino takes a shot and the man falls forward. Gancho looks up to where the shot came from.   Hot Damn, this is a LOT more fun than swimming!

At Cami’s house, Cami talks to LCJ on the phone and tells him that he already uploaded the ad to his webpage. LCJ doesn’t think it’ll work and tells Cami that his bleeding started again. Cami wants him to write down everything about it; it’s important for his research. Once LCJ hangs up, Lucía approaches and asks if everything is okay…he has blood. She tries to reach out to him, but LCJ flinches and avoids her touch.

In SA, bullets are flying everywhere as Alacrán’s goons shoot at Beltrino and the bunny hops away. A couple of the goons carry in the body of the goon wearing Alacrán’s jacket as Gancho points out to Alacrán that a man was killed; Alacrán nods. Beltrino manages to get down from the rooftop and finds Barb inside an old warehouse. He looks out of windows to see where the goons are when he gets a text from Alacrán informing him that he shot at someone else and to prepare for what’s coming. Beltrino thinks he has Alacrán running scared.

In the veranda of the Carvajal home, Lucía asks about LCJ bleeding and wonders if it is a tattoo. LCJ tells her it’s an old injury and that she shouldn’t worry about it. She tries to look at it, but he moves back, avoiding her touch once more. Lucía then wonders how long LCJ will be treating her with such indifference. When she asks if she can count on him, LCJ assures her that she can…after all he is, as she says, her chauffeur…unless she needs some other type of service; he is available. Lucía clarifies that she is not talking about his services; she is talking about his heart. LCJ assures her she can; all she has to do is say the word. Lucía gets exasperated with LCJ’s indifference and tells him that she needs to go change so he needs to get the car ready. LCJ coldly replies, “Yes, ma’am.”

Juls and Vale are sitting nervously by the poolside when Silvina comes to tell them that lunch is ready. Time flew so quickly since they were having so much “fun” that Vale hadn’t even realized that it was lunchtime. Vale tells Silvina that they will have lunch outside. When Silvina leaves, Vale still feels awkward so she goes to get something to drink.

In SA, the shootout continues. Gancho yells at Alacrán that El Chino didn’t come alone. Meanwhile, Beltrino’s partner sits crying hysterically with her hands over her ears.  What about the Rabbit?  Is it OK?

As the shooting continues, Alacrán and Beltrino communicate via text messages until Alacrán calls El Chino and Beltrino finally answers. After Beltrino taunts Alacrán, Alacrán counters that Beltrino won’t even bring him down with an army. Alacrán then asks who he is because he is not El Chino. Beltrino answers that what El Chino sent him is on the rabbit’s ear. Once they end the call, Alacrán shouts at his goons to get the rabbit. Meanwhile, Beltrino shouts at Barb that Alacrán is alive and to shut up.

At the Carvajal home, Vale is getting herself a shot of mescal. When she walks over to give Juls a drink, Juls is gone. Vale ponders on everything that happened. Meanwhile, as Juls walks out, she bumps into Lucía who asks if she is Vale’s friend. After Juls confirms that she is Vale’s friend, she tells Lucía that she has to be on her way because it’s late. Lucía offers her a ride since her chauffeur just drove up, but Juls refuses and would rather walk. Once Juls walks away, LCJ drives up closer at Lucía’s summoning. He hesitates to get down; so Lucía tells him not to bother opening the door…she can do it herself. She has a hissy fit when LCJ doesn’t even close the door for her.

At the Scorpion’s nest, Lupita wipes her bloody mouth as she remembers that she still has Murges’s blade. She gets up to try to escape, but the door is locked.

On their way to the company, LCJ asks Lucía if everything is okay…she seems a bit nervous. Lucía is still upset and wonders if it is his arrogance that makes him think he knows what is going on with others.  LCJ insists on asking why she is nervous. He wonders if it’s because of her romance with the drug trafficker and is afraid that Johny will find out or is she afraid that her husband’s daughters will find out that Johny is her lover…which also wouldn’t be good for her. Lucía gives him a vexed look; and LCJ chuckles telling her to calm down…she can trust him as if he were a life-long friend.

After Lucía opens the door and jumps out (while the car is still moving), LCJ follows her, pulls her back by the arm and asks her if what he said hurt her. Lucía responds that what hurts her most is having fallen in love with him…he is the best thing that has happened to her in all her life.  When she walks off, LCJ is stymied.

In SA, the shooting still continues. Alacrán sends off Gancho as he covers him. Inside the warehouse, Beltrino goes to Barb who is still hysterical and asking why the shooting is continuing if she saw Alacrán fall after being shot. Beltrino grunts that it wasn’t Alacrán…Alacrán fooled him. As Barb continues her hysterics, Beltrino tells her that if they don’t leave now, things will get much worse! He then tells her how to get out and to get into the car to wait for him there, but Barb doesn’t want to move…they are going to kill him! (Slap her already!) When Beltrino goes back to the window, Barb finally starts to go to the car. Meanwhile, a goon brings the rabbit to Alacrán. Back with Beltrino, he runs out to find that Barb is already driving off; so he yells at her and wonders if she was going to leave him there. They finally whiz off outta there. Meanwhile, Alacrán removes what looks like a wine corl from the rabbit’s foot and caresses the rabbit as Gancho tells him that they should tell Mugres to finally kill Lupita.

At the scorpion’s nest, Mugres receives the call from Gancho to kill Lupita. As Mugres smiles and tells Gancho about killing Marino, Lupita is working on the door leading into the house to get it open…which she finally does. As she walks slowly down the stairs, Mugres goes to get another liquor bottle and suddenly hears a noise.

Juls arrives at Perlita’s place and asks Pancho and Perlita if they have heard anything, but they haven’t. Perlita knows that the 48 hours are almost up and encourages Juls to not give up. Perlita thinks Juls’s father will appear and everything will be fine.

At the Carvajal poolside, Vale is asleep when Lucho wakes her as he holds a bouquet of roses for her. He apologizes for losing it and know he’s an idiot (to put it mildly)…an idiot who is in love with her. He then apologizes for being rude to her friend and assures her that he doesn’t want to police her; she can have all the friends she wants (Oh how sweet, he’s giving her permission to have friends…BLECH). When he tells her that he doesn’t want them to grow apart, Vale offers him a drink and accepts the roses.

At Renata’s place, Guille is trying to convince Renata that she can’t leave her job without notice or because of what happened between them. Renata reminds him that it was a kiss that happened there in her apartment; and it was a kiss that neither of them remember. When Renata brings up Mayela and the kiss that the whole world knows about, Guille reiterates that he and Mayela are only life-long friends.  He continues that Mayela was the one that kissed him; he doesn’t know how it happened…maybe it was the alcohol…he can’t really explain it. He then tries to explain about the press and how it runs off with any type of news; it was all just a misunderstanding. When Renata asks if their own kiss meant nothing to either, Guille pleads with her to return to work; he promises to be the best boss and he won’t go see Mr. Castillo without her. That did it! Renata starts to melt…and agrees to go back to work. Just then the doorbell rings…and Teo walks in asking if she is ready for dinner. Oooh, bad timing! Bubbles start bursting.

At the scorpion’s nest, Mugres goes to the laundry room and sees that Lupita is not there. He curses Lupita and takes out his weapon as he storms out. Meanwhile, Lupita is running frantically down a sidewalk. Mugres and his goons jump into their truck to go look for her. Lupita tries to stop a car to get help, but the driver whizzes off. Just then, the scorpion truck shows up and Lupita starts to run away, but Mugres draws his weapon and shoots her. After he gets off and is about to shoot her again, a cop car appears with sirens blasting; so Mugres runs back to the truck and they take off, leaving Lupita shot and lying in the middle of the street, but hopeofully not dead.

Kirby, enough action for you?

El Chino rides again but his plan didn’t quite pan out. My question is why was he wondering where Lupita was when he had previously told Barb that Alacran would not keep his word and bring Lupita?

I’m still wondering if there are skipped scenes. There were a couple of instances where there was no follow through on a scene...like when Mugres pushed Lupita back into the laundryroom and told her she needed to do him a “favor” and later when she was hiding behind the big flower pot and Mugres heard a noise.

Daisies and rose petals in the swimming pool? Did Vale set it all up? We’ve seen that pool several times and it never had flowers in it....hmmmm

More tomorrow!

"When she asks if she can count on him, LCJ assures her that she can…after all he is, as she says, her chauffeur…unless she needs some other type of service; he is available. Lucía clarifies that she is not talking about his services; she is talking about his heart."

(Call Me by Blondie) American Gigolò, I could actually hear that song in my head.

Lucobo couple match from heaven. Lucia is lying, crazy, drama queen and LCJ is cruel and vindictive.
Lucobo forever!!!

I believe that they do indeed cut some scenes out but I don’t think it was as bad as LBYLB cuz that was some bad sh*t

I find more entertainment with Beltran’s character more than anyone else. I feel like he has taken the spotlight of this show, Barba’s doin a fabulous job, wonder why televisa hasn’t given him more roles, he’s had the best performance so far

OT- JudyB, sending good vibes and prayers to you and your son. Hope all goes well with your son’s procedure.

Thank You RGV. Yes, some shooting, a non-black Goon car, (The silver Lincoln truck from Avis) and a Lascivious Lesbian Lip Lock in the pool. Speaking of corn-fuzing, during the gunfight, did Beltrino have a few helpers shooting at Alacran with him? It seemed all the while the gunfight was going on there were bullets going in both directions across that alley. Even while Beltran was consoling Barb, texting, updating Facebook, and repositioning his weapons in those windows. Where'd he get all those guns?

Anon: "Lucia is lying, crazy, drama queen and LCJ is cruel and vindictive.
Lucobo forever!!!"

If some couple plotted and killed me, I'd be pissed too. As a matter of fact, some people might redefine vindictive in those circumstances.

I agree that Beltrino is more interesting. Jocobo's blue eyes and looks are of no interest to me, and except for his adventures in the Batcave, he is like watching a lost puppy.

I have to give credit to him, he could be recapping these shows, did you guys see him type last night? He can out type Renata and Keila both together. And he looks directly at the screen, no cheating like I do, glancing at the keyboard. Those emails were FLYING across the screen.

Renata ROCKS a pair of painted-on Levis. Woof Hoppy Friday

Jocobo is just not devious enough to suit me. I kinda always believed "Fight Fire with FIRE". Has he not figured out a way to start planting tiny seeds to make Johny and Lucia turn on each other?

Nothing major, that would backfire, but just little hints or clues which they can discover about the other one's shenanigans, (truthful or not) to plant some doubt.

He needs to keep them so busy covering their tracks and second guessing each other that they will make some sort of fatal blunder.

Like sneak into one of their offices and take that 'Picture' and turn it over so the message on the back is showing and let someone discover it. Note that when the official photographer attempted to even touch Johny's copy he almost went after his hand with a machete'.

RGV Chick: My thoughts on last night's episode:

1.) Vale & Jule lesbian escapade ?

2.) Lupita is so DEAD. RIP.

3.) The sniper is on a roll shooting people.

4.) Why hasn't law enforcement agencies stopped the bloodthirsty chaos ?

5.) Dumb Blonde (Angelique Boyer) is an IDIOT.

Good Morning, Patio!

Anon 12:47, ITA, Beltie has been stealing the show lately. I was amazed how a character such as his could put up with Barb's hysteria and not slap her to calm her down. Gotta give it to boht of 'em, though, they sure provide some excellent entertainment.

Kirby, I had the same question about all the shooting. Is it possible to se up weapons and have them shoot remotely?

And I did notice that speed typing. Wow, impressive! In addition to being a Hawtie, he's a great typist. I'd hire him as my secretary in a New York minute :-)

I also agree that LCJ is not devious enough. For someone who has no idea how much time he has, he sure is taking his time with his revenge plan. Just do it, dude!

Steve, I'm thinking that Lupita is not dead. Mugres was going to finish her off when the cops showed up; so I'm thinking she is going to make it. Bloodthirsty chaos? Are you talking about the shootout? That happened in San Antonio, so we can't blame the Mexican popo for that. And sniper? That was Beltrino shooting at the man he thought was Alacran. He only killed one goon that I saw...and it wasn't even the man he was hoping to kill.

" Is it possible to set up weapons and have them shoot remotely? "

Yeah, I wonder too. Does that 'Ring' doorbell camera we were seeing showing package bandits on around Christmas have that feature? I'm in.

It must be indicative that Ms Boyer is doing an extraordianry job, or this is just a well written show, that I am still semi in the dark on her and Jocobo.

Sometimes I believe she 'Fooled Around and Fell..... in Luuurve', right smack in the middle of her and Johny's grand scheme. And as Luuurve conquers all, she is in a heart stopping quandary as to what to do about it.

Other times, when we see the bitchy conniving side of her, I think toying around with Jocobo is just some light entertainment, or another part of her scheme. But without any evidence that he could be really useful to her and Johny right now, I almost talk myself right out of that one immediately.

Either way, Jocobo needs to find a sense of urgency and move things along.

Kirby, ITA, LCJ needs to move on it. He seemed quite surprised when Lucia confessed that she was in love with him. My question is: how does the REAL "Leon" feel about his wife falling in love so soon after his death...and telling LCJ that he was the best thing that happened in his life. So where does that leave the old Leon and what did he mean to her--a ticket to the rich and famous?

" So where does that leave the old Leon and what did he mean to her--a ticket to the rich and famous?"

Precisely. He needs to get that through his pointed little head. There never was and never would have been any non-monetary relationship between Gold Digger and Leon 1.0.

Not to harp on Lucia, I am not a woman hater, (see Renata), but she has realistically done hardly anything to recommend herself thus far. A misty-eyed Te Amo does not change the grand scheme of things.

Now ratting Johny out to Montillo would be a step in the right direction. But don't hold your breath.

Clark Kent is jealous of Superman, Bruce Wayne of Batman. Leon is jealous of Jacobo.

Kirby, I just can’t see Lucia turning in Johny, but we just never know what the writers have planned...iñusually something from left field.

Anon 2:04, good analogies. It would be fun to see Leon and Jacobo fight it out LOL Kinda like having Rocky fight Rambo :-)

Don't waste your energy. Jocobo fight Johny. Or just spray him with Lysol and watch him melt like the witch in Wizard of Oz.

Greetings all. Rgv Chick, the trip to the hospital on the wrong side of town went well in spite of my poor driving skills and the tests were better than those 2 years ago. Not great, but better. So feeling hopeful.

Loved the "three amigos", "bad timing, bubbles start bursting" and this:

When she opens the door, Guille stands there looking like a little school boy who knows he’s on trouble.

Yes, the actor really does "abject" well. I'm totally invested in this romance so I just DIED when her friend rang the doorbell. Damn damn damn!

And lots of tension with poor Lupita but I too believe that she will survive. So sorry that Alacran will also. Glad the bunny made it through all the carnage safely though.

Thanks Rgv Chick, impressed that you noted the make of the car as well. You can do it all girl!

Yeah like your wife hitting on you at a Halloween party, forgetting that you changed costumes at the last minute.

Leon and Lucia and Jocobo

O/T

I just finished a Spotify podcast which had this caption/summary that I thought Urban, and others who like tidy endings, might find this funny. I know some of you read the ending of a book first. Not me, but I do like to know if a novela has an 'unconventional' ending. Such as La Esposa Virgen. However, I did like the ending of Ramona because it made sense.

"Why do we always fall for surprise endings? It turns out that our capacity to be easily fooled in books and movies is made possible by a handful of predictable mental shortcuts. We talk this week with Vera Tobin, one of the world's first cognitive scientists to study plot twists. She says storytellers have been exploiting narrative twists and turns for millennia — and that studying these sleights of hand can give us a better understanding of the contours of the mind.

Kirby

I love the little clues. It keeps Lucia and irritating, etc. Johny in fear and us in suspense.

Kirby,
I think I'll go back through the episode and see if the keys that Jacobo hits are the ones that appear on the monitor, if I can tell. If so, I'm jealous.

O/T

What do you guys think about AB's wardrobe? How does it compare with LQLVMR or Tres Veces Ana? I'm leaving Corazón Salvaje 2009 out of the vote.

Victoria. Yes, if worse comes to worse, he could replace Renata. I couldn't tell last night, but didn't go back and do a slo-mo to try and see. I shouldn't even think about it because I'm not even in the running. Hell, not even at the same track.

WHICH one in Tres Veces Ana? This one is far better than old frumpy peg in that one. But nothing nearly as slutty as the real Ana either.

Angelique Boyer played three sisters in Tres Veces Ana.
Ana Leticia was the bad seed and we all commented on her sultry wardrobe. I don't know if you watched it, but her wardrobe was totally revealing. She won for best actress.

JudyB, I'm so glad the tests were better; that should mean progress has been made. The only reason I knew the make of the car is because I'm a Lincoln girl otherwise I'm completely inhte dark about makes of cars LOL

Victoria, I didn't take a really good look when LCJ was typing; all I remember is the sound of the keys clicking really fast. AB's wardrobe has it's ups and downs IMHO. She goes from sultry to school marmish to slutty. I think wardrobe could do better.

Rgv Chick.

I really liked the one she wore with the black lace collar in an upcoming episode. Be on the lookout. It reminds me of a Dominatrix outfit.

Is this it?

Kirby and Victoria, if that is it, I'm not too impressed.

Please enlighten me...what was wine cork all about?

Anon 9:45, I wish I could give you a definite answer about the wine cork. I can only guess that it was a decoy to try to get Alacran to think it was the USB that El Chino took when he grabbed the briefcase of money. Maybe Beltrino was hoping that Alacran would go out in the open so he could take another shot???

Beltran and Barb is the gift that keeps on giving. I love love these two. I cannot stop smiling or laughing when they are on. I love that Beltran does not look a killer, yet that is exactly what he is.

Anyone knows why Johny wears the exact outfit every day?

cuz he has no fashion sense

barb and bel are the best characters in the show. the "protagonists" are very boring though their chemistry isn't bad they just don't appeal to me

Does anyone believe the rumors about AB and MB having an affair.

Univision always starts rumors like those to generate interest in their shows. Ignore them.

Ditto on what Kirby said :-)

Good morning, Patio!

Looking forward to the recap and comments.

Have a wonderful week-end!

Yes, and in addition, Melinama's rule when she started CarayCaray was that we do not discuss actors' personal lives or the latest celebrity gossip. The focus is supposed to be on the telenovela, although admittedly we do get off-topic on our personal lives from time to time. But not on the actors.
