Amar a Muerte, 2/20/2019, Episode 75: DRAT, Now where did I put dem bullets?

Previously: Lucía asked Camilo if he thought she and Johny were León’s murderers.
Camilo laughs it off and assures Lucía that he could never think she would commit such a crime. When Lucía asks about Johny, Cami confesses that he thinks Johny is terribly wicked, calculating, and a game player, if Jacobo accuses him there must be a good reason. Cami adds that that is a conversation that Johny and Jacobo should have, it’s not any of Cami's business. Lucía asks Cami not to be a hypocrite, he is good friends, and probably an accomplice, with Jacobo and surely, Jacobo has told him that they had a relationship. Cami remarks that Jacobo is the problem. Lucía gets annoyed and asks what it is they want…do they want to drive her crazy? Cami denies wanting to make her crazy and reiterates that Jacobo is the one that needs to have that conversation with her.

At Beltrino’s house, Alicia watches one of Beltrán’s lectures where he presents information on Plato and his theory that purports the passing of certain psychic abilities from body to body after death. She continues to listen as a woman in the audience, Micaela Robles, affirms that the transmigration of souls does exist…because she is a transmigrant. Alicia is shocked, but writes down the name.

At Barb’s house, Barb has microwaved something for León since her cooking is a joke. She asks LCJ to tell her more about Vale and Juls, but LCJ doesn’t think he needs to go into detail. Barb cackles as she thinks about the face Beltrino will make when he finds out. LCJ scoldes her for laughing and asks if she thinks that this is really funny, Barb admits that it is, but she doesn’t think it’s a coincidence…it’s destiny. LCJ and Beltrino were meant to meet through the transmigration of their souls or through their daughters…or maybe one thing happened so that the other might occur. LCJ agrees that there has to be a purpose for all of this…maybe so that he can help Betrino save his daughter, but there has to be something more.

Beltrino and Lupita are driving around looking for Alacrán’s house. Beltrino gets impatient since they’ve been driving around for a while. After he tells Lupita that he is going to ask for the help of some men to comb the area, Lupita suddenly spots the house.
Vale is sitting by herself in the living room when Sergio comes to see her. Vale thinks he must be very brave to show his face there. Sergio asks her to listen, but Vale doesn’t want to listen. He was like a brother to her and she can’t believe what he did to her. They’ve been friends since childhood and friends just don’t do those things to each other. Sergio understands how Vale feels, he was an idiot. He continues that he is there to tell her something important—someone kidnapped Juls. Vale is shocked.

At the company, Mateo storms into Machado’s office and demands the documents he requested some time back. Machado responds that is out of his hands…just as he told him last time. Mateo insists it’s an emergency, but Machado is firm…his wife is the one who gave the order so Mateo should go argue with her. Machado wants to be left out of their marital affairs. Mateo insists that the information is public information, but Machado insists that Eva was clear…and she is the boss. Mateo finally gives up, but tells Machado that this is not finished. Meanwhile. Eva walks to her office while Keila reads out her agenda. She sees the flowers that Mateo sent with a note thanking her for the blessing of making him a father. Har Har, Har. Are they dead yet? Better call FTD and order some plastic ones.

At the jail, Barretos explains to Guille an option that might have him out of jail in a couple of days. Barretos explains that Mayela’s father who is a magistrate helped them get in touch with a supervisory judge. They want to submit the file for judicial review and request a compensatory agreement. Guille doesn’t think it’ll work since the Castillos hate him. Barretos is confident in what he proposes, in all the years he has of litigation, he has learned that everyone has a price. He adds that Lucía has authorized a 5 million pesos offer which can get him out of jail and avoid a judicial process. Guille still thinks that it’s not a good idea, but Barretos insists that he will talk to the Castillos.

Sergio and Vale are at Silvina’s house with Pancho who tells them that they are not sure who kidnapped Juls, but Lupita thinks it’s the same ones who kidnapped her. Vale asks for Lupita, so Pancho tells them that Lupita is with a friend to see about something related to the kidnapping. While Pancho goes to get them something to drink, Sergio tries to explain about him and Juls, but Vale still doesn’t want to hear it. The important thing is to find out if Juls is safe and sound…Vale has no intention of finding out what happened between them, she asks him to drop it. Yes, Vale, she is in the loving care of a band of murderous narcos who mowed down a whole soccer team...don't worry.

At Alacrán’s nest, Alacrán slams Juls against the wall and tells her he has lost his patience, she either tells him where her father is or they can continue on to the screaming and pleading. Juls responds that he is going to have to kill her because she doesn’t know where El Chino is. Meanwhile, Lupita and Beltrino arrive back at Silvina’s house. Now that Beltrino knows where the house is, Lupita should leave everything else to him. Lupita pleads with him not to put Juls’s life at risk…or his own. Beltrino assures her that he knows how to handle these situations very well. When Lupita asks if he is sure that LCJ is El Chino, Beltrino replies that all she has to do is look at his eyes and face…she should know. Beltrino rushes off because her daughter is in danger.

Barretos is at the Castillo’s house trying to convince them that Guille and Toño did not intend to hurt anyone. The sister-in-law (SIL) points out that, regardless, the crime left her brother-in-law and sister in a terrible tragedy. When Barretos argues that when the guns were brought out, they all panicked and the shot was fired, Luisa assumes that he is insinuating that it was their fault. Barretos clarifies that it was an unfortunate accident. SIL insists that they need to pay for what they did. Barretos assures them that they are already paying since they are having a hard time in jail and he thinks that they have learned their lesson. He then shows them the offer. SIL thinks it’s a lot of money, it could help them out of several debts. Barretos points out that they will have more than enough money…they can even go abroad to look for better treatments, but Luisa knows that the money won’t change her husband’s condition. She thinks that the young men want to fix everything with money, that is why they are out of control. They prefer to go to court and let the law decide what punishment they will get.

At the company, Machado leaves his office to take the “Señora’ some documents. Mateo quickly goes to Machado’s desk, accesses the reports he requested, and saves them on his USB. Light the fuse Mat.

Johny arrives at his house to find LCJ standing in the middle of his living room (Surprise!). He asks what LCJ is doing there, LCJ just stares at him…( Depends? Johny?)

Alicia arrives at a medical facility and asks for Micaela Robles. The nurse knows exactly who Alicia is asking about and warns her that Micaela may not recognize her. Micaela has disassociated from reality and insists she is a famous opera singer and spends all her time singing arias to the Virgen. A few minutes later, the nurse accompanies Alicia into the chapel where Micaela kneels as she sings. Alicia approaches and sees the butterfly mark on Micaela’s neck.

At Johny’s house, Johny wonders how LCJ got in, so LCJ smirks as he responds, “Through the door.” Johny wants to know LCJ’s game and why he is there, so LCJ responds that he doesn’t have much time, but he will give him some advice—do NOT buy shares from the Carvajal Group. Johny pompously asks who LCJ thinks he is to be telling him what to do. LCJ replies that he is someone who can tell him that shares won’t do him any good in prison. Johny thinks that the one who is going to end up in prison for murder will be LCJ. LCJ laughs as he comments that the only murderer he sees in that house is Johny. Johny scoffs and tells LCJ that León was murdered by a sicario…like him. He continues that the name “León” is not befitting of LCJ…LCJ says that he was León’s friend, but he doesn’t believe him…the memory of León is important and sacred. LCJ then asks if Johny believes that León is dead and if he is aware that there was no body in the casket. Johny responds that someone stole the body, that’s all there is to it. LCJ wonders if Johny really believes that, and Johny asks the same of LCJ.

At the medical facility, Alicia compliments Micaela on her singing, so Micaela gives Alicia a lengthy explanation of the song and its origin. Micaela sings it to the Virgen because she is her only friend. Micaela explains that the Virgen told her what she tells all the Mexicans, that she is their Mother…the Virgen is the only one who understands that she is not crazy. When Alicia asks why people think she is crazy, Micaela responds that she is a wandering soul, she is in a body that is not hers, and no one has been able to understand it. When she has talked about it, people make fun of her and think she is crazy…that’s why they committed her there. Micaela then asks what Alicia is doing there.

At Cami’s house, Lucía insists on asking what the secret is that LCJ can’t tell her. Cami reiterates that it is not his place to say. Lucía reminds Cami that keeping a criminal’s secret makes him an accomplice and he can go to prison. Cami wonders if Lucía fell in love with a criminal, but that is something Lucía will not discuss with him. Cami insists that LCJ is not a criminal or a sicario. When she asks why, then, are the cops looking for him, Cami replies that time will tell. After Lucía states that she is losing her patience and asks Cami to tell LCJ when he sees him, she stomps out.

At Johny’s house, Johny remarks that he has asked himself many times what it is that LCJ wants, he has tried to come up with an answer, but hasn’t been able to. He assures LCJ that whatever it is that he is looking to do, nothing will go well for him. LCJ laughs and tells Johny that it is already going well. Johny asks again what it is that LCJ wants—does he want León’s money or Lucía’s money…because he will never forget what LCJ did to snatch Lucía. As Johny orders LCJ to leave, LCJ thinks it is very interesting and clear to him that what Johny has wanted all his life was León’s money and his wife. Lucía made the decision not to stay with Johny because she wants to be with him (LCJ). After LCJ asks, “What is it that you don’t have that made Lucía go with the chauffeur?” Johny pulls out his gun and points it at LCJ. He pulls the trigger several times… but the gun doesn’t fire, LCJ takes the bullets from his pocket and drops them on the table…and decides to keep the last one. He leaves out the back door. Ca Ching. Beautiful. There's your answer Johny, cause you're shooting blanks.

At the company, Machado comes back to find Mateo in his office. Mateo takes the USB and tells Machado that he didn’t see anything…the less he knows, the better, so he won’t end up in jail.
In her office, Eva looks at her lab results and thinks about how happy Mateo was. She cries as she recalls her conversations with Alacrán and Mateo.

At Alacrán’s nest, Juls is tied up and crying that she doesn’t know where El Chino is as a goon douses the floor with gasoline. Alacrán will give her one more chance to sing or she will be barbecue for the dogs. Sooo...he will burn down the whole house? Juls continues to cry that she doesn’t know anything…the last time she saw him was at the hospital after he killed Servando Armenta. Juls then tells them that the man is no longer El Chino, he is now Jacobo.

At Silvina’s house, Lupita is pissed that Vale is there. She forgets to not be pissed that an eviction notice did not come along with Vale. She asks Pancho what she is doing there and why he let her in…if it weren’t for Vale, Juls would have been there and not been kidnapped. Pancho points out that Vale is also worried, but Lupita doesn’t want her there. Sergio then steps forward and tells Lupita that he is to blame since Juls was with him and he let her go back home alone. Lupita asks who he is, so Vale interjects that he is Juls’s boyfriend…and she is sure Lupita won’t have a problem with that. Vale thinks that there is something more important to talk about and asks what Lupita knows about Juls. Lupita replies that her daughter is in danger. Vale responds that is why she is there.

At the medical facility, Micaela tells Alicia that her real name is Kitty Palacios, she is an opera singer…people would stand in line just to hear her sing, but that was before her illness. She had breast cancer, and her first error was to give priority to fame rather than to her health. Error #2 was to become obsessed with her success, she became too proud and arrogant. She thought she could control her treatment, so she postponed it until it was too late…because she died and resuscitated in this body of an anthropology student. That is when people started laughing at her and called her crazy. Alicia assures Micaela that she will not think she is crazy, she needs to hear her story. When Micaela asks why she needs to know, Alicia responds that she needs to understand about the transmigration of souls and find out if it is true. Micaela responds, “You can see me…confirmation #1.” Alicia sees this as her second confirmation.

At Barb’s house, Barb tells Beltrino that LCJ left…he didn’t care about Beltrino’s threats. And Beltrino better not tell her anything because she is fed up with everything! Beltrino worries that this has to do with his daughter and his time is running out.

At Alacran’s nest, Alacrán forces Juls to drink some water because he isn’t really that mean after all. He tells her that betrayal is paid with a life and El Chino has been getting away from paying his dues…and the ones next on the list are the family. Alacrán liked Juls since the first time they met, maybe she can pay him in some other way…he does like fresh meat. Juls would rather die burned up rather than be with a filthy animal like him. As he tells the goons to set Juls on fire and to cover their ears because she will scream, Gancho approaches and tells Alacrán that they just got a message from El Chino. Alacrán tells the goon to wait and reads the message. He tells Juls that it seems that her father still loves her, he is going to come give himself up in exchange for her.

At Barb’s house, Barb wonders why Beltrino bothered to send the message if LCJ ran off. Beltrino responds that Alacrán probably has a gun to his daughters head or he could be torturing her. Beltrino needs LCJ to come back, he can’t do this to him. When Barb questions Beltrino, Beltrino growls that she is not one to give him lessons in morality. Barb points out that he is behaving just like he did in his previous life, coming back in the body of a decent man has served him no good, his criminal soul could make him sell his own mother’s life. Meanwhile, LGJ is walking along when he sees “Wanted” flyers with his picture.

At Silvina’s house, Vale doesn’t understand why Lupita hasn’t called the police. When Lupita tells her that Beltrino is taking care of it, Vale wonders if she is really going to leave Juls’s life in the hands of someone she doesn’t know. Lupita reminds her that Beltrino saved her life, he knows how to deal with those people. Vale argues, so Sergio tells her to calm down…Lupita is Juls’s mother and she must know what she is doing. When Lupita asks Sergio if he is really going out with Juls, Vale can’t believe that that is Lupita’s priority. Juls continues to be the most important person in Vale’s life and she is not going to just stand there with her arms crossed, she is going to do something about it. Vale walks off to leave so Sergio follows her. When he insists that she shouldn’t be alone, Vale wonders why he is trying to be a good friend after what he did to her, she doesn’t feel like forgiving him since he crossed the line. Vale leaves on her own.

At the company, Mateo looks through the report he got from Machado’s computer. Eva walks in and wonders why he looks so guilty. Mateo restrains himself and tells her that he is working in that room because he doesn’t like Palomarez looking over his shoulder and seeing what he is writing. She still thinks something is wrong since he didn’t respond to her message. Eva wants him to go home early so they can talk about their future and the baby. Mateo coldly tells her that he will see her at home. Eva again asks if everything is okay, so Mateo tells her he has a lot on his mind…about work.

At the medical facility, Micaela wonders if Alicia knows of another transmigrant, but Alicia avoids the question and tells Micaela that she needs her to continue telling her what happened to her after she returned. Micaela isn’t sure, everything was very confusing. She returned in the body of this student who died in the volcanic eruption of 2017. The girl was a brilliant student and her notes helped her a lot. The real Micaela had a lot of books about the beliefs of ancient civilizations regarding death, and that somewhat helped her understand what was happening. When Alicia comments that she now understands, Micaela ask her to now tell her why she is there and who she is. When Alicia tells her that she is the wife of Professor Beltrán Camacho, Micaela is flabbergasted.

Renata goes to see Barretos and asks how his meeting with the Castillos went. When Barretos tells her that it didn’t go well and that they didn’t accept the offer, Renata knew it since they are people with a lot of pride. Barretos tells her that what they want is for the young men to pay for what they did. Renata wonders if there is anything else they can do, but Barretos tells her that things don’t look good, especially since Guille is insisting that they defend his friend. Renata knows Guille very well and he will not change his mind. What worries Barretos is that he won’t be able to get them out of jail before they are transferred to a prison because, once that happens, they will have to go to court. Guille is charged with three counts and could go to prison for many years.

At the jail, Guille shouts for a doctor. Toño tells him to stop because no one will listen anyway. Toño wonders why Guille is trying to help him since he got him into all of this mess. Guille replies that he is his friend and Barretos is trying to get them both out of there. Toño doesn’t think that he will be released since he has several prior offenses for fighting and running over someone. Swell friend Guille.

At the company, Victoria tells Lucía that she would be more than happy to change the agenda for her show, especially since Lucía is making the request. Lucía needs her to report on Guille’s situation in jail, but to avoid blemishing the Carvajal image, Lucía wants Victoria to do exactly as Lucía tells her.

At the medical facility, Alicia assumes that Micaela knows who her husband is just by her reaction.
Micaela admits that she does know him, he was the best professor she had and the only one who believed her. When she returned from the dead, she told her friends and family, but they all thought she was crazy, Alicia’s husband was the only one who believed in her…he didn’t even blink and became very excited about it. Beltrán even confided to her that he had always believed in transmigration. Alicia can’t believe her husband would believe in something so absurd, she knows he studied it, but thought it was because he was just studying folklore and ancient beliefs.

Micaela assures Alicia that this is not folklore. Alicia needs assurance that her husband truly believed in all of this, so Micaela assures her that he did believe in it, but didn’t want to reveal it to any one for fear of losing the respect of his peers. When Alicia comments that her husband never told her anything, Micaela thinks it would be fun to have them both locked up there. Alicia then asks about the butterfly mark, so Micaela explains that she didn’t know its significance at first, but now she understands…it has to do with how far or how near they are to their mission. They all return from death for a mission, the problem lies in figuring out what the mission is.

At Beltrino’s house, Amparo is trying to get Javier to eat, but he is refusing. Beltrino walks in, so Amparo tells him that Javier has not been feeling well and doesn’t want to eat. After Amparo tells Beltrino that Alicia is not there and she doesn’t know where she went, Beltrino takes over feeding Javier. Javier notices that Beltrino is nervous and wonders if he (Javier) is sicker than he thinks, but Beltrino assures Javier that he isn’t worried about him. Beltrino has problems at work that have to be resolved that day.

LCJ returns to Barb’s house where Barb asks him if he doesn't care that both she and Beltrino were worried. She thought he had run off because Beltrino wants to turn him over to the narcos. LCJ tells Barb to notify Beltrino that he is there and is willing to do whatever he wants.
At the company. Johny tells Lucía about his visit from LCJ. When he asks Lucía if she has seen LCJ, she denies it. Johny has already contacted Montilla and he will increase the surveillance at his house. One thing that Johny wants to assure Lucía is that if this guy comes back into her life or his, he will kill him. It's killing me just looking at you.

Oh boy, thank goodness for these recaps. There are evil gremlins in my TV and neither show I watch recorded last night. I don't mind missing Marido but missing Amar a Muerte kills me. This is a tragedy!

Fortunately I had a pal in the virtual family room watching it and he told me all about it. Thanks Kirby.

This sentence was really perfect:

"Yes, Vale, she is in the loving care of a band of murderous narcos who mowed down a whole soccer team...don't worry."

And doesn't it kill you when people in these telenovelas (or real life) in the midst of one of your personal crises blithely say "don't worry, it will be alright". Like HOW DO THEY KNOW? They DON'T, and saying so just invalidates your very real worry.

Okay. Rant over. Your fine recap and screen shots got me over my snit about the shows not recording last night. I'm way too old to be having snits about DVR malfunctions anyway. Need to save that energy for the real stuff that's coming down the pike.

Thanks Kirby. Hola Patio. Have a great day and avoid snits if humanly possible.

JudyB Thanks. Glad this helped a little. I am the same way. What set me off is Vale frantically wanting to be assured that Juliana was alright. News Flash ! Nope. She is frigging NOT ALRIGHT. She is probably being tortured and or raped and may be killed any second here in the process. Also, there is absolutely nothing you can do, so if it pains you that much, go drink yourself unconscious. Good Night.

Kirby: Big question is whether Juls will get whacked ?

Steve: Noooo Juls will be FINE...see above. :-)

Actually I think she will survive if for no other reason than that this show would not miss force feeding us the lesbian love affair for the remaining episodes. Their relationship has had more screen time than the stars relationship. Go figure.

There is so much for Mateo to find out, I hope he can handle it without going crazy or getting arrested, where he can not do anything productive.

Finding out that his wife is laundering and or embezzling money for the narcos is one thing. But when he discovers she is sleeping with Alacran also, and in fact pregnant by him may be more than his little, until recently dormant, brain can handle.

I liked Johny finally dropping his mask in front of LCJ last night frantically triggering his empty pistol. Just perfect. If there was a shred of doubt in Leon's mind, Johny removed it with that attempt.

Then Johny crows to Lucia that if LCJ shows his face again he will kill him. Has he ever noticed that that kill thing sometimes works both ways?

Good Morning, Pati-OH!

Kirby, thank you, thank you, for weaving this golden recap. And those screenshots were just as good. I did laugh at the first screenshot. I know you meant to emphasize the grabbing of a bulletless gun, but how can one not notice that protruding big arse which, by the way matches Johny's ego.

My heart goes out to Mateo. He is just at the tip of the iceberg and being the reporter he is, I'm sure he'll persist in finding out as much as he can. Kirby, he may go crazy or get arrested...but he also could get killed. Let's hope not!

Mateo is not the only one who might go crazy. There's also Vale. She just went through the Armenta ordeal, she's dealing with Guille being in jail, and now this. Then there is also Lucia who becomes more unhinged as the anonymous notes keep coming in...plus everything else that she went through with Armenta. Is there a looney bin big enough to hold all these nuts??

Really enjoyed seeing LCJ drop those bullets and keeping one. Maybe he'll end up using it on Johny--crossing fingers.

Kirby, thank you. I fell asleep on the sofa and did not get to see the show last night, so, like Judyb, I especially appreciate your recap.

All of these people are getting on my last nerve. I have no idea how this is all going to spin out , but I don't see much happiness in anyone's future. And...why exactly is Pancho enamored with Lupita? I am also getting tired of that constant, surly look on jul's face and Vale pining . Eva is awful and now seems to realize that one does often reap she one sows.

Well, the plow guy is plowing out my snowy , icy driveway for about the fourth time this winter.$$$$ We did not get a lot of snow ..maybe 2 inches , but we had freezing rain fall on top of it, so I don't think my little car that only has front wheel drive could have made it up the slight incline of my driveway to the street. ...so......sigh

Well, at least it is sunny and clear and about 48 now. Hope the wet roads do not freeze tonight.

" Lucía reminds Cami that keeping a criminal’s secret makes him an accomplice and he can go to prison. "

Yes, Lucia, say that again, and look into mirror.

Good point, Anon 10:47!

Thanks all. Yes there are few people in this I could really get behind. Maybe ............

KEILA.. Woof Woof wag wag.

RGV Chick: I'm also worried about Matteo's safety if he keeps pursuing his investigative skills to the limit.

1.) Would Vale go crazy ? She needs a happy ending.

2.) Eva needs her BIGLY Karma. Plus, I hope somebody expose her complicity in multiple deaths, drug trafficking, etc.,

3.) Johnny still cooking up that special diet of adding to the Body Count & I wouldn't be surprised if DUMB BLONDE Lucia gets whacked since we've seen TV Dramas in the past not having happy endings before.

4.) LCJ better come up with a strategic plan to out-maneuver the Psychopaths & triple psychopaths.

5.) Will Guille be released from prison after the truth is exposed ?

6.) Juls' Mommy though needs to be in mental institution.

Kirby: I believe Vale & Juls are better off being friends & that's it.

Dear Kirby--Just like watching the episode where I hang on every scene, I hang on every word of your recap. Thank you for so much detail. When I watch, I watch the action and the characters' movements, the bodily and facial signals they're giving off--so I miss a lot of the dialog.

Are we surprised Cami wasn't very helpful to Lucia? She wouldn't have believed him anyway, but more seeds of doubt were sowed as he put the burden of explanation back on the enigmatic LCJ. Cami just frustrates me.

So, we need Alicia to finally believe Beltie third hand. Ave Maria was lovely, but a time-filler.

Absolutely LOVED the scene with LCJ confronting Johny. The writers sure don't like Johny either (nor the directors), but all in the name of widening the gap between pure evil inside and out and good trapped in an evil body (but who can resists those eyes, that face, that build--Lucia can't).

I could have socked Lupita. She's immediately ok with a BOY-friend whom she does not know at all vs. Vale who has been nothing but kind and helpful. Lupita doesn't recognize her own hypocrisy. A person with strong traditional family values, as she purports herself to be, would have wanted to be introduced to Sergio and grilled on his family background before letting him near her daughter--and I suspect El Chino would have done the same.

Susanlynn--I'm with you--and a lot of the Patio denizens--who wonder why Panchito is loopy over Loopy. I have a feeling that we would believe the whole thing more if he weren't such a cutie pie and Loopy made to look so plain (with a pony tail?--didn't that pretty much go out in high school?--unless it's been styled). Or we could also believe the reverse, she's not a sour-faced complainer. So much for our own hidden prejudices toward physical beauty. (Apologies, since this is fictional fantasy, but we do appreciate some realism thrown into the mix.)

Waaaah - No AAM tonight. Guess I'll run through my re-runs. Hmmm, which one to choose--I sure like LCJ dropping the bullets into a dish and keeping one. That might be good for 10 min. at least. I also like Sex in the Corner of Luci's Office.

Anita, a lot of our viewers find Lupita very plain but I don't. (mind you I have seen her in more glamorous roles). But I figure it's the power of young love. How many times have we seen (in real life) marriages bust up when a guy goes back for his high school reunion and finds his first girlfriend is now available again. "The first cut goes the deepest" as the song goes. Anyway, I'm willing to go with it. Very creeped out though by Sergio's mescal-fueled seduction of Juliana. Ugly scene all the way around.

While I still find Lupita plain in THIS tn, she's also playing a not very likable complainer, indecisive and wishy-washy. She hardly ever smiles, just a sour-puss. I think that's another reason we question Panchito's attraction--high school flame or not. She does have very protective bond with her daughter, which is why she called LCJ and trusted Beltie to save her.

I respect Jessica's acting chops greatly because I, like you, have seen her in other roles where I thought she was terrific. Who can forget her in LQLVMR and in Reina de Corazones as La Cobra. I was looking forward to a strong-willed, capable woman when I found out she was going to be in this. Well, she did free herself from El Al's goons, so I raise a white flag. But where is she now? Completely un-done, but it didn't start with her daughter's kidnapping.

JudyB--I do agree with you vis a vis Sergio's behavior. But it was Juls who, for good or bad, jumped him first. He just took it away after that. NOT excusing him.

Good recap kirby, thanks. Johnny is a
Prick. All his plans for a prosperous life on His best friend's nickel is unraveling.
Lucia really needs to have that talk with johny. Ok the L in the LCJ is leon, And The J is jacobo, whats the C
For?
That bullet he saved will probly be the one he uses to off Johnny. Maybe. I Counted 9 bullets, how many did y'all
Count?
Not on tonight. O well Ill watch something else,I know I'll go ondemand

Thanks Kirby.

Nina, the body León inhabited belongs to “El Chino” so the “C” stands for Chino.

LCJ= Leon/Chino/Jacobo

Yeah, no show tonight, but make sure you watch tomorrow; it’s gonna be a doozy!

So if the Alacrán's goons had torched the gasolina poured all over the floor around Jules, wouldn't you think his whole fancy house would have gone up in flames?

OK....Nina's back...telling it like it is.

Susanlynn: Are we're at Ultimos Capitulos yet ?

This is Ultimos Capitulos; we have 12 to go.

Great work, Kirby.

Sergio needs to learn he can't trust Lucho with anything. And yes, I was also aghast that the gasoline was poured in Alacran's fancy pad. Does he make so much money he can afford to buy another after the fire?

I had wondered and wondered about a gasoline filled laundry room. Not seeing any evidence that Loopy had written that episode, I told myself that Juls must being kept in a separate small laundry building away from the main house. The drone views they show of the place are of a sprawling complex with many buildings. These writers don't usually make that glaring a mistakes.

I have not been impressed with the last few Osorio offerings, and have been on the fence about even bothering with anything he tries to produce. It looks like he is helping me make up my mind.

Regarding the laundry room which is the same one which Lupita was kept in, I recall that Lupita's second escape was through a door that led to the main house. IIRC, she was coming down some stairs when she saw Mugres entering and going to a bar to get a drink. So I'm pretty sure that the laundry room is attached to the house...maybe :-)

...We hope anyway.

Just how is Beltran going to use a live decoy of himself and keep it from ending up like Swiss Cheese in front of the Alacran boys. Can't wait for tonight.

Looks like this show is going to get crazier the closer we get to the end.
Musical bodies, whoda thunk that this would have made a good tn/soap. It Would be interesting to see what the
Americans come up with. Or have they already?

Kirby it's like summertime up here. I've never seen so many people on the beach in the dead of winter. But I suppose only in flo.

Ok Ms Chick tonight will be doozy you say? I'll be awatchin. So glad today is Friday. TGIF!

"Just how is Beltran going to use a live decoy of himself and..........."
Yeah, just when we really need her help Death Chick is in Hell breaking in a new boyfriend.

UA: I still don't see Vale & Juls being reunited due to Juls experimenting with Sergio, etc.,

But I really want to see Eva get her Karma in the worst way. Matteo better NOT end up with her in the end.
