Amar a Muerte, 2/4/19, Episode 64: Guns and No Roses

Since I've been a little under the weather, this is a little late. At least this was a Johny-free episode.

Jacobo and Camilo had a heated discussion in which Cam tried to tell Jake that he should tell Lucia the truth. He said he couldn't because it was so unbelievable and besides it would blow his entire plan. He would lose everything, including his children. Camilo suggested he rest on it, but he replied he couldn't. He needed to talk to Lupita.

Lucia thought about the hot times with Jacobo and cried. At the same time Jacobo called Lupita who told him about the strange visitor who asked questions about him. She could not remember the name he gave but described him well enough for Jacobo to realize it was Johny. He asked her what she told him and she answered that he could hardly have expected her to explain the real truth. told her that she wasn't to open the door to anyone from this point on. They ended the call.

Meanwhile at the office Eva went into a meeting with Ortiz with some financial documents only to be interrupted by Valentina demanding an explanation for her treatment of Juliana. Eva tried to put her off, but it didn't take. Ortiz starting closing the files as the two sisters' argument went from a spark to a brush fire. Eva asked him to excuse them and he quickly departed. Valentina demanded to know why this bothered Eva so much and Eva told her not to interfere with her work with this argument. She went back to the notion that Valentina didn't know her own feelings, that she was confused. [I hope we see the session with the shrink.] Valentina told her “You are the one who is confused; what I am telling you is the truth” which got her nowhere. Nor did the “You are not my father” statement. Eva insisted that this relationship with Juliana was to be ended. She went on with her classist attitude and the “You don't know her” nonsense only to have Valentina reply “I know perfectly well who she is. She is the only person who has made me smile since Father died.” She started to cry.

Did Eva cry too, when she said “Please don't feel like that”? Considering that when she embraced Valentina she didn't waver from her “You are confused; this is tough, but it will soon go back to normal” stance, I'm inclined to think she was trying to win an Oscar for it. Good for Valentina that she wasn't buying it. She told her that everything that happened from this point on with be her (Eva's) responsibility, then walked out.
Guille got home from the office and his allergies were acting up. He took his pills. [Now if he had had pets as a child I doubt he would have this problem].

Silvina and Tiberio talked about Jacobo and Lucia. She was concerned that something bad had happened. She had gone for years without having had any visions but now feels ill at ease at the prospect of seeing more tragedy for this family. Tiberio thought she was exaggerating but she reminded him about her grandmother's visions, which had not been well-received. He suggested she not tell anyone about these visions.

Renata's cat did it again and Guillermo started the laundry. The kitty is clearly putting him through the paces.

Sergio and Juliana had coffee together and she told him she and Valentina were Splitsville. She correctly supposed that Val's family had something to do with this and Juliana told himshe would have to leave the city with her mother because Lupita was ill. She didn't know where to and he suggested Costa Rica. She looked at the pictures on his phone and asked whether it would be difficult to find work there. He said he would help. She said they would leave as soon as possible.

Renata got home and Guillermo told her what happened. He had concluded that Kitty was jealous. She went into the bathroom to discover that he had put the white and colored clothes together instead of separating them and everything had turned out pink. He told her he had never done laundry before. [Probably true, but wouldn't he have seen more than a few detergent commercials before becoming an adult?]

Armenta gathered his troops to teach Lucia who's the most powerful man in Mexico. This does not sound good.

Lucia looked depressed, which Silvina sensed. She asked about Valentina, who was not in her room and when told she wasn't home she asked Silvina to let her know when she got back.

Beltrino looked at Rosita's academic file, then went on his way.

Eva and Alacran paused in their illicit activities so she could tell him what a bad few days she was having. Family problems (details not given to him) and Armenta showing up at her home. She claimed not to know why but blamed Lucia. Alacran told her that this was very serious. She tried to tell him not to worry and attempted to distract him into a Round 2 (or more?) but he asked about Mateo. Eva told him that he had stopped investigating him. Although he did not look entirely convinced, this time Eva's efforts worked and they went for Round 2 (or whatever).

Mateo recalled the ugly confrontation with his former informant while Beltrino went after Rosita to find out what she knew about him.

Guillermo cooked dinner for Renata to make up for ruining the laundry.  He planned on dessert in the bedroom.

Jacobo informed Camilo about Johny's visit to Lupita.

Juliana and Lupita discussed leaving, with Juliana suggesting that Costa Rica would be a good option. She showed her some photos on her phone but Lupita sensed that something had happened to make Juliana change her mind.

As Valentina was heading home Chulo had blocked the road and ordered her to lower the window... at gunpoint. He forced her into Armenta's car andn they drove up to the Carvajal mansion. Armenta told her she'd be alright as long as she behaves. He had the driver honk the horn. Fabricio and two others headed to the gate. He told someone to call the police. Chulo got out of the car and demanded they open the gate “We have the little princess,” he said. “The lady of the house will be happy to receive us.”

Fabricio phoned Silvina to tell her as Lucia came down to the kitchen to ask about Valentina. She got on the phone with Fabricio, but he did not answer her. She put down the phone and started to bolt out of the kitchen just as Armenta shot the tall security guard in the head at point-blank range. Lucia heard this just as Valentina screamed.

Armenta had the temerity to apologize to Valentina and tell her they were going inside. Lucia asked Silvina where the guns were kept. She didn't know. Lucia's cell rang and it was Jacobo. She told him what was happening and he told her to hide in Leon's room. He then floored the accellorator.

It took Renata longer than she had expected to clean up the kitchen. When she came to the bedroom and closed the door Kitty began to complain. Guillermo accused her of having spoiled him They started arguing about housework. She told him that as long as they were sharing a bed and since this wasn't the Carvajal Palace he needed to learn how to cook and clean. “Welcome to real life, little prince.”

Lucia sent Silvina to look to the cache of firearms. Armenta entered the house with his accomplices and Valentina. He told Lucia she had to help him with “a dilemma. Do I f*ck you or the little princess of the house?” He touched Valentina's face and she cringed, with a whimper.

Jacabo arrived at Camilo's house and retrieved a pistol. He then told Camilo to call the police because the narcos have Valentina. He went out as Camilo picked up the phone.

As Armenta walked around her, sniffing her as though she were his next meal, Lucia carefully apologized for her tone when they had last spoken and said they should settle this between them. “Valentina has nothing to do with this. Let's talk like civilized people.”
“Who told you I was a civilized person?” he asked. “I go after what I want and when I desire a woman like you, it's an obsession.” [Even Baron Scarpia had more class than this.]*
Silvina was afraid and said something; Armenta told her to shut up or else while pointing his compensatory pistol at her. Lucia grabbed his wrist and said, “Servando, por favor. Would you kill three women in their own house and look like a coward before the entire world?”
He grabbed her throat, caressed her cheek and jaw with the point of the pistol, then smiled and said “I'm glad we will do as I intended, Madam.” [Here, dear viewers, we all feel the sickness in her stomach].

Without letting go of Rosita, Betrino grabbed her cell phone and smashed it with his foot. She told him it was all a joke, but he told her in no uncertain terms that he will not be blackmailed. He had his hands around her throat and she threatened to scream. He told her in his most menacing voice that she had better not cause him any more trouble, especially with his family.

Two of the narcos forced Fabricio back at gunpoint... just as Mateo turned into the drive toward the house. The narcos began firing at Mateo's car as soon as it got too close. Mateo quickly backed up and seemed to have gotten out of range with his life [Armenta will want his henchmen's heads for their poor aim], and Armenta's men then all went into the house. Lucia told him to stop; the others had nothing to do with this. She suggested the two of them leave together. He told one of his men to take Silvina to find the best tequila in the house. The guy told him that the police were outside but Armenta didn't want to hear it. He insisted on Silvina preparing food and that he bring the best tequila. The guy complied. Armenta declared that this would be a great day. He kissed Lucia's hand and looked around. Valentina looked more frightened than ever.

Jacobo kept pedal to the metal while clutching his own pistol while Montilla led his SWAT team out. Camilo was on the phone trying to get information and Montilla told him they were on their way.

Beltrino looked like he was having another asthma attack as he approached Javier's room in the hospital. The child was asleep. He sat down as he felt the mariposa bleeding. He headed into the washroom to clean it up as Alicia entered the room. She saw the blood on the back of his shirt and headed back into the corridor.

Eva took her time answering her cell. When she did Mateo asked where she was and she replied that she is with some (female) friends. He told her not to go home because he heard shots. She asked whether Valentina was at home and he replied that he didn't know. He said he was calling the police. She said she would come and he told her not to; he said to go to a safe place. She told him not to worry; she was in one. Of course, Alacran heard her end of this conversation, as both were still in bed. Mateo told her one more time to not go home, then ended the call. Alacran asked what happened. When she told him that Armenta was at her house, he picked up his own cell. [Montilla had better sopoena all GPS reports on those phones].

Lucia tried to comfort Valentina, but that was impossible. Especially when Armenta appeared in the room sniffing a piece of Lucia's lingerie. Chulo tried to warn him about the police again but he had tequila on his mind. Silvina entered with the bottle – an elegant crystal one with a stopper – and a shooter glass. He thanked her and said he wanted the food brought into the living room. He then led Lucia away from Valentina and she told him that they had not come to an agreement. As he poured the tequila he told her he had enough money to have houses just like this one. And despite that her husband had good taste he was just as corrupt as other millionaires in the country. He handed her the glass. She sipped a little off the top (or pretended to) and gave it back to him. He knocked back the entire contents.

Jacobo moved stealthily around the house and flashed back to an occasion when he was disciplining Valentina for some wrongdoing. She had to comply with three demands. Not to leave the house, explain how she sneaked out past security, and to give him a kiss. She had promised she would not leave the house, then explained that she had gone out a window and crouched down to avoid being picked up on the surveillance cameras. She then kissed him and he hugged her back. He then watched the area behind a wire fence.

Guillermo closed his laptop and went out to talk to Renata. He didn't like fighting. Neither did she. Their conversation was stopped by his cell phone; Eva called him to warn him not to go back to the house. He asked about Valentina and Lucia but Eva told him “Don't worry; I am in charge.” [We all know that gives him more reason to worry]. “Stay there and don't move until I call you.” She ended the call.

Lupita had noticed that Juliana hadn't eaten. She said she didn't want to and asked her to shut the door. Lupita complied and Juliana tried calling Valentina. Her phone rang only a few feet away from the table occupied by Armenta and Lucia. It was filled with food and it was obvious that Juliana was not the only person in this tale with no appetite. Armenta poured more tequila into their glasses, then wasted some of it on the floor, saying “One for him” (meaning Leon). “Too bad; I made him leave. Salud. We're going to celebrate. It's our big day, Señora.” Lucia picked up her glass. He drained his as she was about to take a sip.

Jacobo stayed close to the stone wall below the patio, weapon in hand. His loyal dog began barking as he went past the area. Valentina's phone vibrated and she stupidly answered. Juliana was making a video call. Chulo heard her voice and turned around. He demanded the phone and knocked it out of her hand. He then shoved her back against the couch at gunpoint. Juliana could hear his voice. She asked what was going on. Chulo picked up the phone and destroyed it before seeing Juliana's face. Juliana realized that something horrible had happened. Valentina cowered on the couch. [Eva might get her wish after all].

The bearded narco held Fabricio at gunpoint and demanded the codes to the security cameras. Fabricio tried to keep calm as he hit a few keys on the computer. The narco wanted to see the tennis court. Jacobo could be walking right into its path at that moment.

Comments:
BTW, if you want to hear that same aria in a film production, look for the version by Sherrill Milnes. I would have posted it but it had no subtitles. Couldn't find the one from the opening of Act II with subs you could read, but it's very telling.

We could have a shootout at the OK Corral tomorrow.

Lucia's gona sucrifice herself for Valentina. That's something only mother would do. I am in team Lucobo again.

Sure am glad you had this episode and not me. BTW, Beltie wanted to check Rosie's class schedule so he'd know where to find her and find her he did. She actually looked scared.

Will save the rest for tomorrow. Thank you, Urban.

Urban, what a doozy of an episode. Now things are really picking up.
I'm glad that Armenta took Valentina back home, even if it was just to have the whole house threatened at gun point. Better that then have a drown out kidnapping story.

I wonder if Armenta manages to get away and take Lucia with him, too. It would be too soon for his story to be over, right?

I hope Juliana doesn't go to the house, too, what was Valentina thinking answering?

Good Morning, Patio! Great recap for a great episode, thanks, UA! Wow, can’t wait till Wednesday. Why oh why did they have to schedule the state of the union address for tonight of all nights, ughh!

Armenta is either crazy or really stupid! He’s insisting on food, wine and sex despite knowing that the cavalry is on the way,

I agree that Lucia will probably step up and try to do anything to keep Vale safe.

I like the way they addressed how LCJ will be trying to get into the house without being seen. That flashback made Leon seem like a really good father...understanding and loving...noting like what they have portrayed earlier, He l et off Vale easy for sneaking out of the house to go to some party.

More laters...

Oops... noting=nothing

RGV Chick: I'm afraid either Vale or Juls will NOT be long for this world.

Eva was an idiot for calling Guille, who might actually try to do something because -- unlike Eva -- he loves his little sister. All to prove "I am in charge"? In situations like this he who has the largest gun and the most bullets is in charge.

It would be a good thing if Jacobo could get to the house and pick Armenta off without being caught, but that is probably asking too much. There are 23 episodes left so Lucia can't die now and it would be horrible if Valentina did. However, there will be more casualties but I'm not prepared to predict who they will be.

Thank you, Urban. I hope that you are feeling better.

There are so many violent, dangerous people in this show. Armenta and the drug guys...yuck. They should all return as vulnerable young girls.

Then...they tried to lighten things up with some laundry humor.

Nice, thanks Urban, I didn't doze off in THIS one. But I could hardly pay attention thinking about Stoopida Loopie behind a massive steel door for her own protection from people who (like me) want her dead, and a total stranger (johny) knocks and she opens up. Like . "Oh Hi, who are you, come in could I get you something, are you hungry?"

A squirrel would never do that. They trust nobody.

Well, Busty Rosie needs a new phone, Ha! That fine line between love and hate?

If I couldn't replace a housecat in a woman's life I would be loooong gone. No, I didn't say she needs to get rid of it, just do not let a simple ass pet run your life. The epitome of insecurity. BTW except for a sheet warmer, why would a woman be interested in Guille? Does he have any practical value? In normal life, good looks and a nice personality don't keep the cars running and the mortgage paid and the washer and dryer working. Crap, I just answered my own question about the cat. Deal with it Guille, three is NOT a crowd when you look at it that way. You two ARE equals.

To storm in with your personal Army and actually take over someone's home is beyond the pale. Armenta just upgraded his frigging anvil to the deluxe version.

"Largest gun and most bullets" So true. I do like the idea of a sniper blocks away too though.

Kirby, cats and other pets can be SO much more supportive and loving than humans. I really can't blame Renata for sticking up for Tlacoyo.

Adriana, "I wonder if Armenta manages to get away and take Lucia with him, too. It would be too soon for his story to be over, right?" I really wouldn't mind if Armenta's story would end with this incident. There is still a lot to be resolved; Eva's involvement with Alacran is yet to be discovered and then there is the whole transmigration thing to address for Beltie and LCJ. And let's not forget Lucia's and Johny's anvils!

UA, it is highly unlikely that Lucia will die during this incident, but I do think she will at least attempt to do something to protect Vale.

Susanlynn, "Armenta and the drug guys...yuck. They should all return as vulnerable young girls." I would prefer that they return as cockroaches :-)

Mateo's meeting with Gancho was nerve-wracking. I thought for sure Gancho was going to hurt him...or kill him for leaking info about his snitching. If Mateo would use at least half of his brain, he might be able to figure out that Eva was the one who spilled the beans about his informant.

Sergio is advising Juls that she and her pet vegetable (Mom) might be safe in Costa Rica. The first thing she asks is if they might find work there? ?QUE? Since when is that the first question? As we have not seen those two cumulatively put in a complete work week the whole time we have seen them. Loopie showed up sporadically at a couple jobs, but I can not ever remember seeing her complete a whole shift. And hawking Lotto tickets in the park does not accrue Social Security or retirement benefits.

" hurt him...or kill him for leaking info about his snitching." We can only hopeo. Remember this brainless wonder wants to produce children with Eva and pass on their genes to offspring. In the animal world the elephants would have already neutered both these Darwin award winners.

Urban, what an ending! And I mean Ruggiero Ricci. He's scarier than Armenta. At least Armenta smiles and jokes around in between shooting people that were just doing their jobs.

Thanks for taking this on when under the weather. Hope you are feeling better today. You did yourself proud. No germs came through the recap.

When I saw Max starting to bark, I thought, wait a min. the writers have this backward. Wouldn't Max have been having apoplexy with all the strange men running across his territory? My neighbor's medium sized pooch barks at me whenever I come out in the yard and I'm two yards away. Nobody can walk by his place without him sounding like a jackhammer. He should have been still and wagging his tail as Jacobo passed by. Well, at least he's safe. If he had barked at Armenta's men, he might be dead.

RGV--"If Mateo would use at least half of his brain, he might be able to figure out that Eva was the one who spilled the beans about his informant." It's delayed brain functioning. He was so scared during his meet-up with Gancho, I'm surprised his pants didn't get wet. Then he faced a shower of bullets. Give him another 10 min. and maybe he'll stop and think how many people HE mentioned the informant to--Eva. (Can't remember how much he told Susana. I think he just told her he was still investigating.)

Gee, if El Al gets his Scorpion Squad together, heads for Eva's place and Montilla's Mounties and Army's Army are all there at the same time, we'll really have a (NOT) OK Shootout at the Carvajal mansion.

Susanlynn--Just keep your eyes closed on Wednesday. We'll let you know when it's ok to take a peek.

Anita..uh oh.

Wow...a fabulous title first of all. Just great. And then that amazing video. What a voice! Just turned up the speakers and enjoyed myself thoroughly. And all this you managed while feeling under the weather!? The Universe should send you some healing INSTANTLY.

Okay, I guess la Muerta would not be happy with me at all, because I was cheering Beltrino while he was "ajustando cuentas" and scaring the bejesus out of Rosita-- plus smashing her phone. Well done m'hijo! But his tattoo started bleeding like mad so no, 'twas a bad thing according to la Muerta. Well, not to me. He was protecting his family, however late. And it's not like our succulent Rosita is Mother Teresa. Far from it. Soooo....

Okay, granted I'm biased in favor of Beltrino. And he should never have entered that motel room in the first place. But hey, he was cleaning up his mistake. And doing it a lot more effectively than the hapless Guillermo. I was originally pro that romance but Teo is looking better every minute. Guillermo is just too entitled to be bearable for more than a brief love affair. Teo, on the other hand, is a keeper.

Remains to be seen what new horrors are going to enfold at the mansion, but I must say it was chilling when Armenta growled "You think I'm civilized? That's a facade I can put on, but when I want something, I'm obsessed."

Interesting that Entitlement is a major theme here.

Guillermo is entitled and thinks everything should go his way, smooth as silk. But so does Armenta. Powerful rich people, whether male or female (but especially male, let's face it) think they're entitled to get whatever (or whoever) they want out of life.

Looks like we're building up to a bloody finale. And the Happy Middle seems to be waaay behind us now.

But great recap UA. Sending you healing vibes((((((()))))))), positive thoughts and many thanks.

I don't think that Eva is a part of the kidnapping idea.

But she doesn't, in the least, appear disappointed that she couldn't practice the career she preferred, rather what her father made her do. She's loving the power and money, hording it over everybody, and living like a hog in heaven.

The despicable characters just keep in coming.

I don't know why, but I'm getting the vibe of a very unpleasant ending--just a guess

Forgot to mention I really liked the observation (on Eva and Valentina's discussion) that "it went from a spark to a brushfire". Nicely put.

When Valentina shouted that she hoped Eva would end up all alone, I got the terrible premonition that this was indeed what was going to happen. Eva would lose all those who were dear to her and would be left with only her regrets and her culpability. Not a pretty future.

Don't like Eva but hope that I am wrong.

JudyB: Guille vs Teo. There is something to be said for working your way through college or life for that matter. Guille is like a lot of the educated I have worked with over the years. Educated, and maybe good at that one singular thing they went to college all those years for, but useless for anything else.

Teo is a ten times better catch than Guille. If Keila were half as smart as she is pretty, she would be riding hard to lasso him.

Kirby: It's quite obvious that if Vale gets whacked, Eva will be COMPLICIT. That evil bitch deserves a BIGLY anvil soon.

LCJ better get his butt over there to rescue both Vale & Lucia soon. I'm assuming the SOTU from POTUS Trump will push this TV Show back to tomorrow ?

Kirby and judyb...I agree with your comments completely. Teo is the real deal. It is so satisfying and character building to work for what you get. Guys like Teo are the true galans in real life.

Amen Kirby, the problem with "intellectuals" is that they think somebody else should do all the scut work. They like clean, tidy, well-functioning etc. but don't want to take time from their reading, cogitating and pontificating about how society could be improved, to actually help take care of things in their own little world. That's for somebody else.Lower on the chakra level evidently. I'm not dissing smart, educated people per se, just those who think practical work is for well...anybody but themselves Can you tell I'm married to a retired professor? LOL

OT..yes, I am a big fan of guys who can actually "do" practical stuff. Our rural community is blessed with a lot of honest, hard-working craftsmen...contractors, plumbers, snowplow guys, lawn care guys. I have a lot of respect for these men.

If this blog were about opera and we had to determine who was the most evil villain I think Scarpia had a great chance of winning that distinction. Especially that so many novela villains appear to have been inspired by him.

Victoria, I agree about Eva. She had nothing to do with the kidnapping because that would have had the potential to spin out of her control... control she thinks she has but doesn't. I also agree that she will end up either alone or dead at the end of this story.

Urban, yes, I see no redemption for controlling, hedonistic Eva. She seems to care for nobody but herself.

UA: We're going to find out soon enough. Are they're in Ultimos Capitulos yet ?

Victoria: Not every TV Drama has a happy ending.

Just take the goddamn chipmunk face already. So annoying to watch.

:-)

I like the chipmunk, but where is the long bleached blonde wig?

In it's cheeks. It is going through customs and trying to save a little on the duties fees.

Who is a chipmunk?

She’s the cute little bugger in Kirby’s avatar.....

BTW—I checked on who Mateo told he got information from a stoolie. Besides Eva (who was relieved when Mateo said it was probably Luci), he told Susana. Susana was the one who named Eva as the possible link to the cartel. So, Mateo has some thinking to do yet.

Can't wait for recape of 65.

It says episode 66 on my DVR scheduled. I sure hope they wouldn’t do that to us!!!

ALL--I would keep my eye on any on-line guide and your recording device for the episode number. Monday was Episode 64. It was announced at the end they would be back on Miercoles. That OUGHT to be Episode 65. I hope it's the on-line guide that is incorrect and aren't being bothered to change it rather than Uni skipping an episode just to keep up with their schedule.

STAY TUNED to AAM, for sure.

ANITA! Under the circumstances---re: an upcoming SUPER DUPER exciting episode----I would say it would be a criminal offense if UNI skips episode 65. Unfortunately, we viewers have zero influence/control over the behemoth, UNI. If we did, there might be some major changes in script, casting, etc! lol 😂😂
AMOT

AMOT--We've forever advocated that tn scriptwriters ask CarayCaray recappers and commenters to come on as advisers to their offerings. We could certainly turn the tables on a lot of these characters earlier in the run. However, where would that leave us? Without anything to critique, rant, mock or snark about. (Not being serious, of course--tongue in cheek.)

What we DO have is a friendly and active forum where the writers' weaknesses and tortured realities in the story as it progresses are pointed out and made fun of. It delivers a lot of satisfaction to be the second string quarterbacks musing on the plays that have already taken place (sorry for the sport reference).

Yes, Anita! You are so correct about leaving us with not much to rant about! ha ha. And, your sports reference is quite apropos.

I used to think -many years back, that they needed to be more careful about the percentages of evil people to good people. When the percentages are really off, which they have been at times, the TN can become far too unpleasant for a nightly viewer escape.

Now-a-days, we see a lot more "GREY" characterization, nuanced, with good and bad in same character (which is common) and we are left guessing or left hoping for interesting transformations and redemptions.

85-90% NARCO and evil is a real problem even though I ended up enjoying the jam-packed NARCO TN, "Falsa Identidad," but the relentless super slang resulting in the captions only catching half the sentence,--now THAT was really annoying.

OK- end of my rant for today! I have now recorded "Betty in NY" and wonder if anyone is going to recap that...or have thoughts about it???
AMOT

AMOT—
Betty is being shown on Telemundo. However, I think the following applies to both channels broadcasting telenovelas.

Unless there are several NEW recappers, lthere’s not much chance. The rest of us are pretty occupied with the ones we have. As noticed, no one is covering En Tierras Salvajes—a Mejia tour de force on daytime. It’s not quite up there with FELS since it has three guys in love with one girl, but still—snark worthy, despite the three good-looking guys. At least they don’t sing, too.

I thought Mejia disappeared. Oh, well...

TV Guides and other such publications usually receive program listings several weeks in advance and often don't update in time for viewers. If the SOTU had not been delayed we would have had episode 65 last night, but this delay happened too late to go to press.

Also -- like many other websites now -- some of these may be very careless about updates that benefit users.

UA- thanks for info— so what do yiu think will be next TN recapped after Amar ends? Sorry if this has already been discussed and I missed.

AMOT—
The Uní offerings at 9 and 10 will probably continue to be recapped. Check the Telemundo posts and ask them.

Anita- I was never able to find an actual forum for Falsa identidad (telemundo) while watching it. I looked on Caray Caray but there was never anything there after original announcement of the where and when. Is there a specific forum like for telemundo TNs?
AMOT

AMOT—
Twice a week, the Telemundo forum posts a front page. Falsa Identidad was featured there for the whole run. Juanita and Novelera did the recaps and folks kept up a spirited commentary. If you click on Telemundo on the sidebar and go back a few weeks, you’ll find them all. I followed FI, commented occasionally and even did a turn as a guest recapper.

I forgot to mention—the Telemundo forum doesn’t recap on the front page. It’s all done inside in the comments. Check it out.
