Mi marido tiene más familia Monday 4/1/19 Capítulo 137 Putting the Present in the Rear View Mirror--OR--"Baby, We Were Born to Run"

Neto tells Eugenio that he needs to get things settled in his mind. With all that has happened,  he hasn't even had chance to tell his kids  about the Córcega's not being related to them. Eugenio can understand especially now with what is going on between Yolo and Guido. Neto is concerned that he will not be able to prevent her from going off with Guido. She acts so impulsively. She said she was definitely in love with him. Eugenio gives Neto some fatherly and "fathering" advice.  Neto needs to talk to Yolo calmly so she doesn't see him as the enemy.  Children are always taken by what their parents deny them.  Neto understands that but seeing them kissing left such a strong impression on him.  Now he knows that Guido was the one who gave her the new cellphone.  Neto needs more advice. He asks Eugenio how to confront his ex Ariana. Eugenio asks him why he would want to confront her in the first place. Eugenio explains that she dared ask Yolo for money and that is not right. He needs to know that she really loves the children and is not just using them to get money for herself.  Neto actually thought that things were calming down and now it has all turned into a whirlpool of problems.  Nothing is the same. Eugenio offers Neto his "old man opinions"  reminding Neto he will always be there for him. Neto thanks him and calls him "dad" and quickly apologizes. Eugenio sees no need for that.  He called Neto "son". No big deal. Blanca comes in interrupting the conversation. She has to ask Eugenio something important. Did he take any money from the savings box in the bakery?  Eugenio says no. He hasn't been down to the store in days.  She asks if he is sure. Eugenio insists he is. His mind might get mixed up but he is sure about this. He didn't take the money.

At school, Yolo is in the classroom and gets a call from her mother. She asks Hugo if she can go to the bathroom. He gives her permission and she leaves. Hugo is in the  middle of the classroom but his mind is on Diana telling him that she misses him and really loves him.

Axel gives Linda the bouquet of flowers.  He knows she is going to work with his grandmother and wants to wish her good luck even though she doesn't need it because she has proven herself to be a strong entrepreneur. She thanks him with a big smile.  She says the bouquet is very pretty but notices there is only one of each flower. Axel says it is because there is only one of her. There is no other woman like her.  He is there to tell her that he really loves her and  has never stopped loving her.

Outside of the classroom, Yolo talks to her mother. She asks her mother how she is doing. Her mother admits to doing very poorly and starts to cry. She called Yolo just  wanting to hear her one more time. Yolo becomes upset and wants to know what that means.  Yolo doesn't understand what is going on. Ariana tells Yolo that she has to go away. A now panicked Yolo wants to know where she is going. Is she going on a trip? When will she be back? Ariana explains she is going very far away and this time she is not coming back. Yolo says that cannot be true. She can't be telling her that. Ariana says she wasn't brave enough to tell Yolo the truth in person. She asks Yolo to forgive her. Yolo pleads with her. She cannot leave again. She begs Ariana to tell her it isn't true and not to go. Ariana tells Yolo that she doesn't deserve having a mother like her. She will be better off without her. She wasn't born to be a mother. She apologizes again,  hangs up,  throws the phone on the ground and walks away. Yolo ends up on her knees sobbing. She calls Guido to come and get her.

Neto decides to call Ariana. When he asks to talk to Ariana Castillo at her hotel, he is informed that she has checked out.

When Guido arrives, Yolo runs to his car. She wants him to get out of there ASAP so the security guard doesn't see that she left.  Guido  wants them to go away together really far away from everything and everyone. Yolo readily agrees. Everyone has disappointed her except for him. She doesn't want to be there anymore. They both agree that they want to be happy someday and that is only going to happen with them together, alone and far away. Guido has enough money and she is ready to go. He kisses her, they put on their seat belts and they leave.

Nonno is with Dani and informs her that the transfer of the money has been made. He hopes the information they get will be the ruth. Dani gets a new message: "Gabriel was murdered. He was poisoned."  Nonno just cannot believe a murderer snatched his grandson away. Nonno says they will have to prove the truth and asks Dani to ask who poisoned Gabriel.

As they are driving away, Yolo says that she cannot believe that her mother would abandon them again. Something must have happened to her. She tells Guido how she told her how her mother didn't want to tell her she was leaving to her face. Guido thinks that lots of parents don't know how to raise their children. Yolo is so hurt that she disappeared. Her father was right. Money was more important to her mother than her children. Guido was also right saying that family is overvalued. Guido tells her things will be different from now on because he will be with her. They are going to run forever from pain. Yolo will never be alone again. They will go on because they have found love. He kisses Yolo's hand.  She asks Guido where they are going. She doesn't have a passport of ID so they can't fly.  Guido decides first they will get away form the city on the highway. Then he will be talking to his contacts to get them new identifications. That is how they will pick their new destination. Yolo suddenly looks surprised. Guido kisses her hand.

Ari draws a huge smiley heart on the whiteboard in the classroom. Temo has given him a video of himself and the kids singing and dancing to "Juegos de amor". Ari enjoys watching it. Temo appears with the kids and asks if his answer is yes. Ari says yes it is today, tomorrow and all of the days that follow. The kids cheer them on. They take a photo.

Neto is walking and hoping Ariana will answer him. Instead he is sent straight to voice mail.

Dani has sent her question and is not getting an answer yet. Nonno says they can go to the police and find out who sent them.  Dani doesn't want to involve the police quite yet. She doesn't want to lose her contact with Anonymous. They need more information Nonno agrees.  Dani needs to go home to care for the triplets.   Nonno tells her that she is not alone and that they will  get to the bottom of it for her, for him and for Gabriel.

Neto runs into Blanca outside of the school.  She notices how upset he looks. He tells her about not being able to contact his ex Ariana.  He is afraid that she abandoned her children once again.  He says that maybe  the kids, especially Yolo, might know  something about what is going on.  He doesn't want them suffering again like they did years ago.  He is especially worried about Yolo who really had connected with her mother lately.  Blanca has never understood how a mother could abandon her children. She says if she is gone,  his "heart" family will be there to support all of them. He thanks her.  The twins come out and they talk about the costume competition. They are going to win. Frida thinks she will win. Blanca thinks they should concentrate on having fun.  Neto asks if they have seen Yolo. Nobody has seen her from when they arrived in the morning. Ari and Temo come out next and Ari tells Neto he hasn't seen her from the morning when she left the classroom. She even left her backpack behind.  Hugo appears with Yolo's backpack and informs Neto that Yolo's teachers informed him that Yolo wasn't present in her last classes of the day. They have looked for her all over the school but she is not there. He is sorry to tell Neto but Yolo ran away from school. Neto is angry asking how that could happen without anyone noticing. He leaves his children at the school to be cared for.  This institution and Neto  are responsible for the children.

Neto and Yolo drive out to the  the outskirts of town. Yes, she is hungry. He will look for a restaurant.  He knows she is sad now but tells her that he life will be better. They are going to do a lot of things together.  Yolo is starting to think and understands that he loves her but why does he want to run away. He says to be able to be with her. If they don't go off on their own, her father, his grandfather, everyone will put an end to their relationship.  He doesn't want to give her up. Yolo remarks that Guido likes his job. Yes, he likes being a the helm of Nonno's businesses but Nonno  doesn't trust him.  Guido is going to start his own businesses so the two of them can have a new life. Yolo asks what is she going to do.   She is  not 18 yet and has not finished school. Guido says he is doing this for her. He told her he will wait for her. Her family might disappoint her but he will do everything to make her happy. She finally smiles.  Her phone rings. It is her father but she doesn't want to answer it. Guido tells her to turn her phone off so they cannot be traced. She hesitates but ends up turning it off.

Neto hopes that nothing happens to Yolo because he is holding him and the school responsible. It is their obligation to know what goes on with their students. Hugo agrees but he just now got the reports from the teachers. Neto says the gate has to be locked during class time. Blanca advises Neto to calm down so they can find Yolo. Neto excuses himself and tries to call Yolo. He is sent directly to voice mail. She is not answering. He asks what the twins think. They think she might have gone with their mother back to the USA. Neto thinks not because he has her papers and passport. She also didn't have any money. Frida hears all of this and looks guilty.  Frida tells them all that Yolo had money. Blanca asks he to tell what she knows. Frida confesses to helping Yolo take the money from the savings box at the bakery. She apologizes. Blanca gives her the cold hard look of disappointment.

Imelda is knitting away talking to her great grand children. Although she may have a novio, she will not be forgetting them. They are the new Mussi-Córcega's, the legacy of their two families. Dani comes in all upset. She cries and holds her babies.

Blanca simply cannot believe what Frida is telling her. Blanca makes her look at her as they talk. Blanca puts it as clearly as she can: what they did was STEAL. Frida has never done anything like this before. Frida cries. Neto is going to look for Yolo. Ari and Temo will search for Yolo via the internet.

Grecia leaves the school and hears about Yolo having run away from school  from Neto. Hugo reappears and says he talked to the gatekeeper/security guard and he didn't see Yolo leave. Grecia tells Neto the school isn't a prison. She adds that something serious must have happened for Yolo to just leave.  Neto is afraid that she has left Oaxaca.  Grecia leaves with Neto. Blanca tells Frida that they are going STRAIGHT home.

Guido and Yolo stop off at a restaurant on the outskirts of town. He asks the maitre d' for the most private table  they have.  Susana and Pancho walk into the very same restaurant. This restaurant is Susana's way of compensating Pancho for the mess she made of their first novio anniversary. They also serve  the most delicious food and they have some wild boar tacos she knows he will die for.  The maitre d' has their reservations and seats them.  Susana thinks this occasion deserves a champagne toast. They cannot drink too much because they have to drive back. Susana flatters Pancho telling him that working with him has helped her a lot. his spontaneity, energy and creativity are contagious. She wants to toast to meeting the challenge and showing the world that they can share an office and life. Pancho wants to toast to true love as a team that cannot be brought down even by the  worst crises on the job.  As they are toasting, Guido and Yolo are holding hands at their table.

Eugenio is sitting quietly going through his photo album when Blanca arrives with Frida. A furious Blanca tells Frida that this is not the end of it. They will be calling her mother. She tells Frida to put down her backpack and to look her in the eye. If she was so daring to do what she did to her family, she better be brave enough to take the consequences of her actions. The Córcega's have NEVER stolen money. They have worked honorably for everything they have. What they have always had in their house were values like loyalty, respect and above all honesty.  What Frida did was serious because she also  she betrayed her family the very people who take care of her and love her the most. In the middle of Blanca's lecture, Eugenio asks who Frida is. Imelda walks in commenting it is another day of crises. Eugenio has no idea of what is going on. Dani comes in crying and won't say why. Blanca orders Frida to tell her grandmother and Eugenio what she did.  Frida says that she and Yolo took the money from the savings box. Imelda says "What?? The money?"

Linda is working, looking dreamily at the bouquet Axel brought her and thinking about what he told her. Crisanta comes back and informs Linda that Axel still  loves her. He really loves her. Crisanta understands that Linda's relationship with Axel has been complicated but the truth is that he has changed a lot due  to hard knocks and time. Crisanta has never seen Axel cry over anyone like he cried over her. Linda is not  sure how she feels about him.  She certainly doesn't want a man to distract her from her objectives. Crisanta came to the same conclusions in her life. A woman doesn't need a man to get a head but love can be an impetus to get to her next goal more quickly.  Linda supposes so. She has forgiven Axel but even if she gives him another chance their love will still be "FORBIDDEN".  Crisanta asks forbidden by who?  Linda says forbidden by her family because they are cousins.  Crisanta says the truth of  the matter is that there are a lot of couples out there that are "cousins." Nobody can deny that or that Axel loves her.  Crisanta promises Linda her support "against the wind and the sea" if she comes to love Axel as much as he does her.  Crisanta offers Linda her hand.

Susana and Pancho continue their dinner. Pancho is talking about how the work place should be like a family. He gets a piece of salad stuck on a tooth. It looks like his tooth is missing so he decides to go to the restroom to remove it.  Susana gets a phone call.

Yolo asks Guido if he told Nonno he was leaving.  Guido says no because Nonno would never had allowed him to leave work or be with her. She didn't tell her brothers because they would make her come back now with her mother gone. They agree to start a new story. He kisses her hand.

Neto, the twins and Grecia are out looking for Yolo. Neto explains that their mother is gone again and he is afraid  that Yolo left with her.

Guido thinks that they have to chose a place to stay the night and also that it would be a good idea to get a new cellphone. Yolo spots Pancho on his way to the restroom. Pancho spots them on his way back. Pancho stops by their table to chat and asks what the two of them are doing all the way out there.

Back at Blanca's, Imelda is letting Frida have it. She cannot believe that she would steal from her own family. Frida tries to explain. She only wanted to help Yolo because her mother needed money. Yolo promised they would give it back. Blanca informs her that is what everyone who takes something that doesn't belong to them says. Frida insists it was a loan.  Nonno comes in looking for Guido. He cannot find him anywhere. Imelda asks why he would look for Guido here. He says maybe he came to see Dani.   They just found out something terrible, something very serious about Gabriel's death. Blanca remembers overhearing what Carlos told Dani.

Dani is with the babies. "Anonymous " sends her a message saying now that he has received his payment, he will tell he the name of her husband's murderer.

Guido makes small talk with Pancho. They came to the restaurant because his Nonno had told him they had the best wild boar there. What a coincidence! Pancho says that Susana brought him there for the same thing.  Pancho remarks that he didn't know that Guido and Yolo were friends.  Yolo says they have become friends because her father works at the distillery.  Pancho understands now. yolo decides to run with it and tells Pancho that she  also needed some help in planning surprise for her dad; an incredible surprise!!  For that reason, Yolo is asking  Pancho not to say anything to her dad about seeing her and Guido out together. She doesn't want the surprise to be ruined . . . Pancho declares himself the proverbial "tomb" and reminds her how much her dad loves her. Pancho decides to leave them alone so they can continue planning he surprise.  If they need any help, they can count on him. He goes back to Susana. Guido feels the urge to get out of there immediately and asks the waiter for the check right away.

Dani is nervously waiting for the murderer's name as she sits with her babies.

Blanca tells Nonno that if they find out something about Gabriel's death that will affect Dani,  her family has a right to know. Nonno says it isn't something that would be easy to say let alone in front of Frida.  Imelda sends Frida off to change and do her homework. Blanca calls to Frida  as she leaves that her scolding isn't over yet.  Nonno explains that Dani has gotten several anonymous messages about Gabriel's death. Blanca doesn't know why they cannot let it go already.  Nonno tells her that they can't let it go because the last message told them that Gabriel was murdered.

Lind bumps Crisanta's hand.  Linda wants time to get her feelings in  order and doesn't want Crisanta to say anything to Axel.  Crisanta will respect Linda's time, space and her heart. Linda isn't sure how this will all turn out including working for Crisanta behind her grandmother's back. Crisanta tells her if she is happy, it will all turn out fine. Linda and Crisanta get down to work.

Neto tells the twins that he is not completely sure that their mother has left Oaxaca but it might be related to why Yolo has not shown up.  Andi reminds Neto and Santi that he told them that they couldn't trust their mother. Grecia tells the twins that none of this is their fault. They deserve the best in the world. Andi thinks Yolo and their mother left together. Neto says that is a real possibility  because Yolo talked to her.  Neto says they are done talking and it is time to go see the police.

Guido asks their waiter if there is another exit to the restaurant other than the front door. He gives the waiter a nice tip and the waiter tells him he can use the back door. Guido and Yolo leave.

Pancho is telling Susana about seeing Guido and Yolo. She tells him to let the gossip go and to enjoy his wild boar. He agrees since that is what they came for.  She tells him to taste it and to tell her what he honestly thinks. He says "Que Dios bendiga lo que caiga a la barriga" (May God bless what falls in the belly) and finally tries it.  He loves it so much that Susana has to tell him to quiet down. As they pig out on the wild boar, they start to flirt and Pancho tells her that he has scheduled  his vasectomy.

Blanca tries to calm Dani down saying there is no way they know if those messages are true.  It might all come down to a case of blackmail. This could all be a result out of Dani's desperation for wanting to have some sort of explanation. Dani does not agree. This is something more serious. Blanca thinks they should just accept that Gabriel died of a heart attack. and "Anonymous" only wanted to get some money. Dani it tells her that "anonymous" has told them he will name the murderer.  Blanca doesn't see that helping because how will they ever know if that person was really responsible.  Dani swears that she will prove  to Blanca that all of this is true and she will not rest until she gets justice for Gabriel. Nothing will stop her.

Great episode with plenty of action. Pancho with the salad on his tooth was a hoot. He and Susana were good comic relief. Looks like plenty of drama in the foreseeable future.

Wowser! Yeah, "Baby, We Were Born to Run"

Jarifa, I thoroughly enjoyed this recap, thanks a lot!

Poor Yolo really wanted to get away, to run away, but it looks like she is already having second thoughts about it, as well she should even though she doesn't yet know Guido's true nature.

Yet another amazing TN coincidence with Guido & Yolo being at the same distant restaurant at the same time as Susana & Pancho.

Poor Frida is going to be raked over the coals for stealing the money, but she should be. Live and learn.

more tomorrow...

andy

Thank you for your recap, Jarifa, and it is up so quickly!

Yes, this was action packed. Looks like Yolo is on the lam with Guido, so no kidnapping. My theories are always wrong. LOL

Finally Frida confessed to taking the money. Glad that's over!

We could just see the thought bubble coming from Guido's head, wishing Pancho would leave them alone. ;-)

Jarifa and Cynthia - I'm going to be out of pocket for the rest of the week -- having total hip replacement on Wednesday -- so I thank you both in advance for your recaps the rest of this week. I doubt I'll be able to watch or write much, one never knows with pain meds. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Doris, wishing you a successful surgery and quick recovery.

Just a lurker who enjoys reading your comments, especially your theories that don't pan out, because sometimes they match mine, but I don't post them. LOL

Jarifa, excellent. Just excellent.

I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat last night. One minute melded into the next to the point I was shocked when I realized the episode was over. That said, your amazing recap (great title) kept all the excitement going - full throttle.

"Blanca gives her the cold hard look of disappointment" and "Pancho declares himself the proverbial "tomb" and reminds her how much her dad loves her" were fantastic but my hands down favorite was "As they pig out on the wild boar..." Perfection!

“Ariana explains she is going very far away and this time she is not coming back”. As she admitted, she wasn’t born to be a mother. However, life had different plans. She became a mother not once, but three times. Rather than fighting to fix her tortured soul, she is abandoning the children and inflicting her pain on them. Again. Flight, not fight. I really felt for Yolo.

"Yolo suddenly looks surprised". Oh my dear child. You do not know the half of it! Thankfully, her father, brothers and Grecia will be there for her.

I was a bit peeved at our beloved Blanca for being rather obtuse. Of course life is always easier when you bury the past, but there are enough signs that something was radically wrong with Gabi's death to the point denial is futile. C'mon Blanca...

In spite of everything, Yolo is an intelligent young woman. Once the shock of her mother leaving wears off, she is not going to want to go home rather than taking Guido's gruesome ride. She will grow suspicious shortly. As you noted andy, she is indeed "already having second thoughts"...

Dani looked stricken. She and Nonno will be devastated.

The babies were so sweet - nary a tear or cry to be seen.

Perhaps Diana and Hugo should try out another school?? This one seems not to be working for either of them.

“She says the bouquet is very pretty but notices there is only one of each flower. Axel says it is because there is only one of her”. Very, very slick. Great line…

“wild boar tacos”. Hmm. Think I’d pass on that one but to each their own :)

doris, will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure though your surgery will go fine...Looking forward to more of your great lines when you return. Today, I will savor "We could just see the thought bubble coming from Guido's head, wishing Pancho would leave them alone. ;-)". Exactly!

Jarifa, I'm enjoying this more each successive night. Thank you for recreating all the action so well for us!

Diana

Jarifa: Good Job on the recap. Danni & Co., are getting closer to finding out Guido whacked Gabriel.

Diana: Why is Bianca still STUPID ?

Steve, I think Blanca is quite intelligent. But, like any loving mother, she doesn't want to see Dani subjected to more heartache and is trying to shield her. I think she simply is having a tough time processing that Gabriel was actually murdered.

Diana

Thank you so much , Jarifa. Your dedication to providing us with recaps is unbelievable. A big thank you.

Yes, I am worried about Yola. I hope that Guido will not resort to a Romeo and Juliet scenario in his obsession for Yola. It isn't enough that she has Ariana as a mother. Now, she is alone with manical Guido. However, she has a string, loving father.

Doris, bueno suarte on your upcoming surgery. My best friend had that procedure done about a year ago, and she was pleasantly surprised that her recovery was much faster and easier than she had anticipated. I will be sending you good vibrations that you have the same good experience that she had.

Sunny morning here but only 30.

Andy, “Poor Frida is going to be raked over the coals, but she should be.” I do not think Frida will be stealing again when Blanca is done with her. Ah, the lectures of childhood! Never to be forgotten!

doris, thanks for letting us know you will be AWOL for a few days. We would be wondering where you were! Anyway, wishing you the best on your surgery and hope you are moving around a lot better soon. As for your theories, I always enjoy hearing your speculations.

Diana, somehow I thought you would notice the 🐷 “pig out/boar” description. 🙂 Yes, this episode just flew by being so well-written and so well-paced. I have felt annoyed by Blanca just wanting to get beyond Gabriel’s death no matter the possibilities. It migh be a valuable life skill in other situations, but it sure isn’t working for Dani in this one. She needs to back off.

Oh boy, lots of action in this one Jarifa. Thanks for the recap. For some reason, this sentence of yours really tickled me:

"He kisses her, they put on their seat belts and they leave."

Yep, even now, we have a PSA on the importance of seat belts, even if you are absconding with your granddad's money, jewels and an underage maiden. Buckle up!

Looking forward to the next installment. And interesting that Crisanta is so casual about cousins being together. Is that some kind of PSA for consanguinity? Yikes!

Doris, good luck with your hip replacement. I've visited lots of folks in the hospital with hip and knee replacement, and the hip replacements always go better, with faster recovery time and fewer complications. So hoping that is the case for you. Also that you can tolerate the pain meds. I can't even take Percocet without becoming violently ill so joint replacement is out for me. Don't fancy trying to get through it with just a couple of Advil! Final bit of advice, eat lots of fruit. Those pain meds, well.....

Thank you, Jarifa.

The scene of Yolo and Ariana phone call was very touching. I felt sorry for Yolo. And I liked you description of Yolo's increasing anxiety with every word. Upset, panicked, pleads, begs, on her knees sobbing.

Steve, they are getting closer and only have 8 episodes to arrest him, try him and sentence him. I hope he doesn’t escape with Yolo instead.

Diana, you are right about Blanca’s motivation.

Susanlynn, you are welcome. I have so enjoyed recapping this one! I sure hope they do not go the Romeo and Juliet route.

JudyB, it struck me as funny when I was watching it. I would have expected them to pull away struggling with their seatbelts or not concerned with them at all. This was done so deliberately and in unison! Another PSA!

Lucio, me, too, my heart broke for Yolo. Thanks!

judyb...I guess we had all better buckle up our seatbelts. In the last few months, I have had mine on 24\7.

Susanlynn, when we lose someone so very dear to us, we realize how fragile Life really is. And you are all the more precious to your daughters and grandchildren now. May blessings fall all around you today as you stay buckled up and going forward.

Thank you, everyone, for the good wishes.

JudyB - you're preaching to the choir about the pain meds. I can't eat after anesthesia, too. When I take pain meds, I cannot keep food in my stomach, so will be requesting anti-nausea meds, as well, and good strong ones at adult doses. I had a bad post-op experience 18 hrs ago, went into dry heaves, hubby called surgeon's office who wrote for a child's dose that did not work at all. Found out much later, while kvetching to a nurse friend, that it was a child's dose. 🤬

I learned to be my own advocate from then on, get in their face and tell them I need good strong anti nausea meds. (Like Zofran, etc) Be your own advocate and tell those docs what you know you need. That's my own PSA for the Patio today. 😊

"Be your own advocate and tell those docs what you know you need".

Wise words doris.

When I was growing up, it seemed as though doctors were sacred. You never disagreed with them, let alone mustered the courage to ask a question!

This is a very positive change. Being proactive, asking questions and stating what you need are essential.

Diana

doris, and a fine PSA it is!

Doris, I got very sick on an antibiotic when I had a bad cold or flu years ago. Ugh. I think that it was Augmenton. I hope that everything goes well for you. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. My friend was very surprised at how quickly she recovered after her hip replacement. I have a friend (former football player) who had both of his knees replaced at the same time.

Off to lunch at local Mexican restaurant. No wild boar for me. 😕

Axel has changed due to hard knocks and life? Wah?? His story line is meh......Another mommy’s boy who lives at home...

Thank you Jarifa for your detailed recap. And your title was so catchy—“Baby we were born to run!” So I started off thinking of Bruce Springsteen, LOL!

In Arizona, they used to hunt Javalina (wild boar). I recall my father going hunting with his friends but I do not recall ever eating it. It’s not something that sounds very appetizing to me, but I understand a lot of people do eat it.

I feel sorry for Frida in a way, but I am glad she finally confessed to her taking the money. As for Yolo, she seems like she is having second thoughts about running away with Guido. I just didn’t get the feeling she was all into it. I felt sorry for her that her mother left her again and she realized all her mother really wanted was money to leave town and go elsewhere. A girl really needs her mother! I don’t know how some women just abandon their children. They must not feel a sense of attachment to them or something.

We shall see what transpires tonight. I hope Guido gets caught and Yolo will be alright. She is going to be devastated when she finds out that Guido really is a murderer.

Cynthia, Springsteen exactly. It is one of my oldie favorites for road trips.

Doris, I hope your operation goes smoothly and you have a rapid recovery.

And thanks for your advice/PSA about speaking up with doctors to get the care or meds that work for you. This is something that took me many years to finally figure out.

andy

Doris, may God grant you complete recovery after your surgery. God bless you.

Cynthia: I noticed my profile picture didn't show when I posted a comment on this website for some reason.
