I went back and read the recaps from
Wedsenday and Tuesday. Wow all those secrets. When is someone going blow up
Emir's world? He is just holding all strings. I hope kemal blows him and his nasty daddy out of the water. Ok
4 minutes it'll be on. O and I can stand vildan.

AMOR ETERNO

That didn't last long. If it's over. I had decided it was a plot point, to get Zeynep into that house, but now? [ If you missed Zeynep's and Ozan's marriage and all hell breaking loose, AnonFri posted a comprehensive recap on Page 1 for this week!]

Friday mini-caplet, scenes out of order:

Zeynep has disappeared, leaving a note by the bed: I don't belong in your life. I can't come between a mother and her son. I'll be filing for divorce soon. I'll continue to love you from afar.

Abandoned Ozan is a wreck. Grasping the note, he falls unconscious. His parents see a small bottle by his side, and he is rushed off the the hospital via ambulance. Apparently, he has attempted suicide.

Kemal, Nihan, and Kemal's underworld connection Zehir go to a spot where Zehir had info that Karen and her hub will be receiving forged passports to flee [Karen the blonde lady of 5 years ago who took off immediately after Kemal and Nihan showed up asking Qs]. Sure enough, looking ridiculously furtive, the couple shows up for the hand-off. But so do the police, who cart them away.

Oh wait. Not the police, it was Emir's henchmen posing as police. Kemal and crew figure this out gradually as they are waiting at the police station, back to square one.

In some scary location, Emir is interrogating Karen and hub, who has a gun held to his head. Karen spills to Emir that "your wife" and Kemal showed up at their house asking Qs.

Somehow, Emir's interrogation session is being live-streamed onto Kemal's phone, and Kemal and wide-eyed Nihan listen in while they are in the car. Kemal muses that Emir is afraid they''ll find out whatever Karen was hiding from them.

Who is responsible for this audio being sent to Kemal? A dramatic moment as Emir's blonde-ish, blue-eyed assistant Tufan turns to the camera in the surveillance room. Seems Tufan is fed up with Emir's cold arrogance and mistreatment of him, as well as sick of the alien ringtone and Emir's ETERNO face, as Nina put it. [Tufan's flipping surprised me, and hope he plays a role in bringing down Emir.]

Somewhere along the way, Kemal and Nihan rehash their themes of love and guilt. Kemal ask Nihan to take her wedding ring off, he can't stand to look at it anymore. They agree to a fresh start and to fight for their love and their future. They shake hands on it. Yet she's still wearing her ring.

Mother Vildan calls Kemal, not being able to reach Nihan to tell her about Ozan's suicide attempt. Ozan wants to see Zeynep. Kemal is off to find Zeynep, and Nihan will go to Ozan.

Meanwhile, Zeynep, still wearing that red dress, seeks refuge at Salih's! [Kemal's friend who Zeynep dumped]. Salih: How dare you show up here? Zeynep: Nowhere else to go. Salih takes her in, saying I feel like an idiot, you dumped me. When Salih asks why she left Ozan, Zeynep said she couldn't deal with his parents' scorn.

The parents, Nihan, and Emir meet up at the hospital. Ozan is doing okay. He wants to see Zeynep. Kemal will bring her.

~~~~ So, overall pretty much the same old, same old, but for the Tufan development. And a set-up for whatever the hospital bedside encounter will bring!
