Caray, Caray!

Parte 1~~  with apologies to Robert Burns.....

At El Rancho, Dora turns the tables in this Mexican standoff as El Arizona doesn't figure the liddle lady 'll know how to shoot ner have the stomach for cold blooded murder.  She sends a pot shot flying over the desk as a warning.  "Oh no?? Next time I won't miss."  Her two goons run in with their guns pointed at their so called guest's back.  "And, you were saying you're going to pay what you owe me, right?"

Outside Miguel's city digs, Date Rape Dude and Chisca are taking a walk in the moonlight.  "--This --I--must be a bit boring for you here."  She kisses him and he responds in kind. "--So, did you come for me or for what I took from you?"  "--I came for business--with my BFF Miguel.  Where is he?"  "--He keeps his own schedule.  Anyway, you don't want him knowing I and you--er, you and I are a thing...er have had a fling...er...."  DRD, aka Valentin, questions Chisca.  "--Oh, are we an item or what?  Naw, I wouldn't dare to let him know till I have his permission."  He kisses her again, with only the inevitable Mexican moon to witness.  They hear the car pull up.



Miguel arrives with Adela and says he's bushed.  No midnight tragos for him.  He had a rather more physical trip than expected.  She's ready to party--her treat (I believe).  He says something about just needing to go to bed.  She flirts and says (I think) something like "--How direct!  So you don't need a little shot of tequila to give you courage with me, huh?" They laugh.  He goes inside.

Back at da rancho, El Arizona (Bragada) sits back down and will pay Dora, but she adds that once he's paid up not to expect to do business with them again: "--I do mean that nobody from El Salados will do business with you again!  --Oh, and give a big 'Howdy!' to Mrs. Bragada for me." He leaves the office like a clawing cat had just landed splat on his pudgy puss.  (Nope, not a happy camper.....)
El Asesor comments to Dora then that Don Lamberto would have been proud.

Kenia and her significant other, meanwhile, are entertaining Jorge by introducing him to tequila tippingl.  Jorge heads to the head.  Pilar asks Kenia what's shaking between her and Jorge.  Kenia fesses up that she sees something innocent and special in him.  Yep, there's something there.  Pilar cautions her in seeking another relationship with a guy.  Jorge hears this last part.  (Dare he hope she's AC as well as DC?)  Pilar asks him if he's ready for another trago.

Back at Casota Miguel, Valentin and Mig share a big bear hug of greeting.  Chisca was keeping him entertained while he waited for Mig to return home.  Mig is happy to see his old buddy and Valentin immediately wants to be introduced to Ade.  Mig says she works with him and Chisca is first to correct him by saying she works for him rather than with Mig.  Val flirts and Ade flirts back through Mig.  "--Don't fall for this guy's little games, he's married!"  They begin chatting on the couch about old times, people and things.  Val suggests they have a ton of things and time to catch up on.  They should go out and enjoy a few rounds together.  Ade butts in and looks meaningfully at Mig.  "--Well, I am going to bed.  That's what tired people do, right? Sleep?"  Val tells her then they won't disturb her if they head out for a couple, right?  Right......  They race off together, but not before Val remembers to chuck lil' Chisca on the chin affectionately and thanks her for keeping him company while he was waiting for big brother to get there.

After they're gone, Ade mentions to Rosario? --El Mayor domo--that Valentin certainly has his charms.  Rosario giggles.  "--Yes, definitely Mr. Macho!!  Jee-jee!"  Chisca goes to bed.

At the bar, Mig and Val chat about old times and their old flames at the time.  I believe that Val speaks Japonese also. (?)  Viewerville does learn that his wife was born in Malaga to American parents.  "--Well, that's water under the bridge.   -- So, that Adela is pretty hot stuff!  Anything going on between you two?"  Mig says nope.   He admits she's the only woman since Aysa's death that he feels comfortable with--but that's why he must stop himself.  It is too dangerous to become involved.  Val then admits that last week Chisca travelled to Madrid and they ran into each other there and really hit it off together.  He lies, however, that nothing passed between them.  Val says he wouldn't dare do anything untoward since Mig is his brother and BFF.  Mig appreciates the gesture.  Val says well, I cannot deny that Chisca has her charms and something about her does attract him.  They toast to the future and just in case there's a future with Chisca.  Mig says it's nice seeing the two of them together, although she's currently dating some guy named Angel who isn't his first choice, shall we say.  "--See whether she'll agree to go out with you.  No need to mention that you've spoken to me about this, though."  They toast again.

Chisca and BFF Adriana chat that he came just like she'd planned him to.  Well, is the rest going as planned?  Yup, says Chi, and tomorrow I'm going into the city to set it up.

Speaking of Uptown dudes, Carlos (El Pol) learns from his head of security that it was Epigmenio who was behind the murder of Enano's posse.  Carlos crumples up the sketch of Pig and tells the Security Head this trail leads nowhere and "--You understand what I mean by that, right?"  Yup.  Drop it. "Actually, the fact is that the person behind these executions is Enano himself, yes?"  "Sí, señior."

Back at the bar, Val says he's wanting in on Don Lam's bidnez.  Mig says, well, he's turned the corner on that bidnez and beginning to hoe a new row which is beginning to pay off.  Val looks pleased for him.

Early the next morning Adela must meet Mig at a Japonese restaurant.  She mentions her abuela's old saying that love is not made in bed but at the table, eating.  Mig chuckles and asks her is she comfortable still working for him.   She teases him a bit and then takes his hand and rubs it affectionatley he also doing the same; she speaks up that he is not to worry, he'll be the first to know when that's the case.  He smiles and says he agrees with her abuela.  "Buen provecho"  (Good eats!  Enjoy the meal!)

Across town in Techie Towers El Flaco overhears Jorge and Kenia kidding him about not handling his liquor well.  Flaco sends Jorge off to fetch an external hard drive for him and takes the time to ask if she is now dating Jorge -  Yeah, he came over which you heard.  Flaco is a bit jealous, but only says he thought she just liked girls and wonders if she's laying a game or not.  She says what's it to you who I like and my life is my own private affair.  He replies that Jorge's the boss's brother so to watch out and be careful.

Claudia and Hector pay another visit to her detective friend.  They see the poster of Pig as the description of the Big Cheese in charge of the attack on Enano's men.  However, all things officially now point to it being Enano himself.  Ummm, all confidential informant stuff and hush-hush.  Who put out the word that it is Enano's doing?  Well, the Secretary of Internal Affairs.  (Which includes their equivalent of the D.O.J.)

Parte 2~~
At The Towers, Jimena inform  Mig that she's got more plans like the last one to put into play so they can move more money into circulation.  Just then Val arrives and gets introduced.  Mig takes Val on a tour of the bidnez and introduces him to Flaco who says his name sounds familiar.  He has flashbacks to Chis asking to see how spying remotely works and used this dude as a test sample.  Mig says must have toked a couple too many of his maryjanes and leaves.  Flaco takes a moment then to do a web search of Valentin Sorio.

In Mig's personal office then, Val mentions he has contacts in Europe that will put blow in everyone's noses in Europe.  They agree Mig should meet his European contact.

Back at Rancho de los Garza, Dora and Chisca have breakfast together.  Chisca seems extremely hungry this morning.  Why is she so chipper?  Chis fails to answer and walks out.  She meets up with Guajolote and asks him to kill somebody very important.  Not without Don Miguel's permission.  "--He doesn't know but if he did he would have him killed also."  She offers him 20,000 pesos/dollars? and walks off.

Inano de Enano is met at his offices by "the police" who he tries to persuade with money.  He's shot dead along with the actual policeman who just drove up and the partner.

Hector meets with Mig to discuss the strange goings on with Pig and posse's protection from all the right high and mighty places.  Hector now has reason to believe that it was Pig who murdered his sister in cold blood.  He know that Pig is a part of El Salado but now he's got this protection in CDMX.  That's not strange if he's now working out of there, but he's not with El Salado any longer, says Mig.  They now have an enemy in common.  Hec takes a call and then informs Mig that Enano is dead.  He reminds Mig that they may have a common enemy but now Mig's big buddy Carlos Fuerte is now Hector's worst enemy and then leaves.

At the ranch, Chis gets a call from Val and they spat a bit about who he really came to see in Mexico but in the end make a date and she's to see him in CDMX asap.  Guajolote meets her at the hangar and asks for a picture of her victim.  She shows him a photo off her phone.  He warns her nobody can know.  She tells him she'll distract him for a while and then, when he is finished she will pay Guajo.

Carlos holds a press conference in which he says that Enano has been killed in a confrontation with the police and as such, the case is now closed.  Hector gets up and raises the question of why overnight the trail of clues of the crime once leading to Pig suddenly pointed to Enano and why, then all the criminals in CDJimenez go unpunished.   Carlos assures Hector and the crowd that the investigation was rigorous and flawless. "--Next!!!"

Chis comes to Val's hotel room and disrobes, ready to entice him with a lot of black lace and his expensive, stolen, jade necklace, but he tells her to put her clothes back on.  He's not in the mood.  He gritches and does the 3rd degree about what really excites her about stealing stuff that's not hers when she can pay for anything she wants.  They head out.  They stop at a mall jewelry store and get the salesman to look for a different style of bracelet in the back.  When the guy leaves the counter with the merchandize still there out of the glass encacement, Val stufs her pockets with the watch and bracelet and they start to walk out of the store.  However, the guard sees what they've done and tries stopping them and demanding they show what's in their pockets.  Val knocks him away and they race through the mall, eventually evading all the mall cops.  The excitement gets their blood boiling and they kiss behind an enclosed counter somewhere.

Back at Mig's offices, Jimena overhears a resevation for three that night for dinner.  Seems she feels she's going to be invited to dinner with Mig and Val.   But nope,  it's with Val and Chisca as the invitees.

While Mig gets a few drinks for them all at the bar, Val whispers in Chis's ear that what they did that afternoon joins them together forever.  He pulls her around a pillar and tells her that he thinks he's met the love of his life and he believes he's falling in love with her.  They kiss.  She runs off after to make an important call.  It's to Guajo who has just put his phone in his pocket.  She can only leave a message telling him the hit is cancelled.  Guajo apparently is outside the hotel waiting for the marked man, aka, Valentin to appear.
