El Final del Paraíso
We open with Sebas and Alex. Sebas says he’s there so Alex won’t kill him. Alex senses something different in the way Sebas speaks to him. Not really, says Sebas. Alex says your family owes me a lot. Are you intending to pay for them?
Diabla is on a rant: that bitch CataG knows everything! She will pay along with everyone else! This is not the end! Quique reaffirms his loyalty to Diabla. She says Quique did her a favor. She got a new face and was able to make Cata’s life hell. She has become the new Black Hand.
Titi is praising Cata on her call to Diabla. You and me we’re a team, we can destroy Diabla and Cata agrees. First Cata wants to get the baby back. She says that girl is her daughter now. Titi takes that opportunity to say she’s OUR daughter.
Ok, Sebas, let’s get to work. Yadith is on it—gathering men, resources. Yadith detects some sort of jealousy on Sebas’ part. Alex smiles, well the thing is Sebas was my….my only friend. (Is anyone starting to question the nature of their friendship?) Yadith says, we can’t afford friends, and, looking at Sebas--no friends.
Alex will give Sebas an opportunity to stay alive and prove his loyalty. What is it? Bring us Santiago Sanin. They give Sebas a phone, we need your parents’ numbers.
In Miami: Mateo tries to locate Sebas with no luck. Hilda has a huge interview in 1 hour. She’s too upset to be interviewed. Sal and Mateo double team her and tell her she can’t pass up this incredible opportunity.
Shadow questions why Santi would team up with Albeiro. Simple, it’s love. Santi says they were happy for 20 years until they returned to Colombia. That was the beginning of the end. Shadow wants to leave the group but Santi says to stay, to get justice and rescue your son.
Diabla sets up her operations again in “Sasha’s” house. She says if anyone comes Quique and Sasha will have to pretend they are a happily married couple.
Sebas asks a favor and Alex allows him to call Hilda. He calls Hilda right before her interview. Sal takes the phone away. LOL, Sebas says “Cállase cállase, sapo”, which the captions translate to “shut up and mind your own business, buckteeth!” Sebas says Sal has no idea what’s going on, to stay out of it. Sal demands that Sebas return immediately. Hilda takes the phone back. Sebas tells her he’s ok but he’s never coming back. He’s going to disappear. He’s sorry and thanks her for everything. Hilda and Sal argue; he calls her selfish!
Titi makes his case: have you thought that we could start all over again? I’ll give up the routes, I’ll quit the business, I’ll forget the money stashed away. Teach me to be honest and transparent like you. Show me your way of life. Let’s get away just the two of us. Don’t say anything yet. (Which is ok, because all Cata can do is stare at him, bug eyed.)

Lucrecia and Berrio talk about CataG. They believe in her innocence and have to figure out a way to help. Suddenly, he has an attack of gastritis. Valeria walks in and puts on a phony act of concern. She barks orders to Lu—clear his schedule, call the doctor.
Titi’s fantasy: goodbye El Titi, hello Aurelio Jaramillo, pleased to meet you. Cata can’t help but smile. He goes on: imagine me an engineer, architect, plumber. A lawyer? We could have a big house, no, we are honest people—a little house by the beach. Selling juice. We have a little boy, we already have the girl, Catalina. Not named after me, Aurelio is an ugly name. You choose a name. We would be happy. Cata is laughing and smiling. Titi says she’s beautiful. She thanks him and says she knows deep inside there’s a good guy. But she has stopped believing in happiness.
Titi balks on calling Cuina. He’s afraid she will hurt the baby. Time to man up, Titi! Titi offers money to Cuina to return to Mexico. She says so what, I can borrow from anyone, I have other contacts--like Yesica Beltran. What?! Titi tries to dissuade her. Cuina mentions her bargaining chip, little Catica. So text your offer and let’s see.
Hilda aced the interview. She’s still upset about Sebas.
Berrio is feeling better. Valeria suggests getting something to eat. There’s a call from the Ministry of the Interior and Valeria leaves. Berrio lets loose on the call: both the house and ID papers are fake! She is undoubtedly Yesica Beltran! Listen, the timing must be right! I know it’s dangerous but it’s more dangerous to have that lunatic on the loose. We made a commitment and need to see it through.
Marcela and Albeiro have a heart to heart: his life is chaos. He can’t start another relationship. She says, it’s good to start over. His past is holding him back. She doesn’t understand, tells him she’s in love with him. No discernible reaction on his part.
Pilar calls Diabla. She wants to kill Titi and Cata. Pilar pledges her loyalty and a new drug formula. Diabla agrees to meet. When they meet, Pilar also mentions getting back at Cuina, who wants to take over Diabla’s territory.
Cuina and Tonina talk. They’ve grown fond but might have to give up Catica. Meanwhile Titi has located Cuina via tracker Pilar had earlier placed on her phone.

Santi gets the call from Sebas. Dad, I’m in Colombia, come for me. Don’t ask but I need your help. Please come alone and unarmed. Santi gets the address. Shadow volunteers to go but Santi need to go alone.
Cata and Titi are out looking for Cuina. Cata has a plan to draw her out.
Off camera, Cuina left a message for Diabla. It was risky, but necessary. Tonina says she could offer us up to the president. He’s on a mission to destroy all narcos. Don’t you think calls to the First Lady are traced? They discover the tracker on Cuina’s phone. Uh, oh. They are screwed and prepare to leave.
Cuina calls Diabla and makes her offer, I have Titi’s daughter. Pilar can’t believe what she’s hearing. Cuina says let’s kill Titi and then we can negotiate. This is about revenge and making lots of money.
An orange kitty enters Cuina’s room. Little Catica, says kitty, kitty. (I thought I saw that cat earlier on the bed with Catica.)
Diabla will consider Cuina’s offer. Pilar tells about Cuina’s dog. Sasha doesn’t like that. Quique says not to trust her. Pilar makes another play, don’t partner with Cuina, take my offer. Diabla wants Sasha to take Pilar to her room. Uh, oh. Pilar isn’t going anywhere since she has seen Diabla’s face and knows her address.
Santi is at Alex’s hideout. He’s tied up. Yadith stuns him and he falls to the ground. Alex tells Sebas it’s time to do what I had to do and then we will be bound together forever. He hands Sebas a gun--shoot him. Weepy Sebas approaches his dad who is now kneeling before him. Alex is standing next to Sebas, shoot your father like I shot mine. Santi’s eyes never waver from Sebas. Sebas points his gun. And we are out.

Alf's phone chats are confusing, I'm wondering if he has decided that Sasha is Diabla.

I guess that tracker has a wide range, they were talking about searching 100 yards in each direction till Cata said something like starting a fire to get Cuina to show herself, I'm curious what she'll do, she is highly trained DEA.
Shadow is no dummy, I'm wondering if he copied the address and followed Santi.

I’m wondering about Berrio’s calls, too. Could it be what we’ve been waiting for? Is he deliberately letting himself be poisoned? Crazy.
Are we going to have another cat in a supporting role? We had Tozzi in LRDS.
It’s very possible that Shadow and Arturo have followed Santi. How else can he get out of this? It would also set up an interesting confrontation between Shadow and son Alex.
Not surprised that El Final is beating El Señor Depends. Viewers were pissed they killed off Aurelio Casillas at the start. Guess it’s not enough that his “ghost” appears nightly in flashbacks.

Shadow gang 2.0 are at the entrance of Alex’s building. They can see Alex and Sebas snorting coke. Arturo says to Shadow, I don’t know what’s worse for you, seeing your son a criminal or seeing him use that crap. And here comes another shock, Alex and Sebas making out. Shadow shakes his head. Jota narrates, it looks like they are in love. We hear Alex say, let’s finish this and Albeiro says let’s get this done. Shadow gang moves in.
Sebas is ready to kill and Santi makes a last plea for family. But Sebas’ hate is stronger than family. Just then Shadow runs out, nooooo! Shots fired and it’s the Shadow gang with hand guns against the bad guys with machine guns.
People are running out of the hotel. I’ll guess that Cata pulled a fire alarm. So where’s Cuina? Cata and Titi follow the signal to the orange cat. And as Cuina and Tonina make their get away with Catica, Tonina says it was a great idea to use the cat.
I guess Sal was missing in action because Mateo found him at a bar making out with some random chick. Sal said, he doesn’t care, he’s nothing to Hilda. Well, he was important to Hilda. He was the man who made her believe in herself and in love again. She feels like an idiot. Carlos, Albeiro, Salvatore…. all liars. She cries on Mateo.

Nelly gets a text about a scheduled press conference. Obviously Berrio can’t do it so she will cancel. What’s it about? The power of women. Berrio wanted to do it in Pereira because of all the sexual exploitation that happens here. Valeria wants to take his place! Nelly is hesitant. It’s night time and Vane, Nat and Ivan are outside of Leticia’s house. Luis is out, no one is home. They break in. They find Karla’s birth certificate and pictures of her. Vane wants to make a call to Rubens, he needs to know and the agency will have to back us up. Ivan warns they need to be careful, they are there without a warrant. Nat finds the police file on Karla’s disappearance.
Rubens shuts Vane down. He called it ridiculous and typical of the agents working for Cata. Nat says they need to contact Granados. Vane trusts him, but there are people above him that will stop us. Vane wants to call Rogelio.
Seems Rogelio was going to contact Vane, he wants to do an article on Catalina Santana and the possible disbandment of the DEA office in Colombia. But Vane has something much better for him. She’s got evidence to expose the First Lady for who she really is. Come to this address and bring a reporter for a live broadcast.
The First Lady’s press conference starts. Nelly introduces Val. She explains the president is in the hospital for routine matters. After all the campaign was very stressful. He’s being treated by the best and will be back at work very soon.
Cata and Titi happen to be watching and smirking at Valeria’s charade. Val talks about the 3 immediate plans they have for the country: first, protection for women and girls affected by violence, second, create a Ministry for Women (this gets Cata agitated), and third, create the Without Breasts There is Paradise Foundation! Cata exclaims, that’s my idea, Titi! She stole it! Titi reassures Cata that for now Diabla may be fooling the people but in the long run Cata’s truth and honesty will win.
Cata can’t be calmed. Val with her innocent looking face doesn’t give a damn about women. She’s the exploiter, disparager. She may have surgery on her face, breasts and butt, but she’s the same proxeneta she met 20 years ago. Titi will be a willing witness to all that. He can face the media. Cata is exhausted, she wants to sleep. Indefatigable Titi seizes the opportunity and says, I know you have reason to hate me, but you also have reason to love me. Dylan finds out the govt. knows Pio is Cabo and informs Cabo. Cabo decides to leave immediately. Meanwhile, Rutila visits Berenice. She figures out Jaime’s Colombian guests are Cabo and crew. Rutila shoots at the getaway car, hits Violeta but they get away. They take off in a plane.
Amado finds Colon. Colon pulls a gun on him, wants to know why he went bad. Amado says things are not always black and white. And Volpi wants to bring fentanyl to Mexico. Amado wants Colon on his side and have him tell Castillo and Navarro about Volpi. Colon tells Corina he’s bringing this to Castillo and Navarro. He wants her to come back to the good guys; he will help her.
Navarro lets Ambar go. She’ll go to Colombia with Chema and start her work to turn him in.
Chema meets with Volpi.
Volpi also wants to negotiate with Cabo.
Amado is pissed Chema’s negotiating with Volpi and also he warns him away from Diana. A bare fisted brawl breaks out between Amado and Chema then everyone joins.

Esther finds the cocaine stash that Los Casillas stole from Cabo. She moves it to another location. She wants to use it to absolve Diana and screw the Colombians who killed her husband. She informs Castillo.
Cabo calls Jaime for help handling Esther and Diana. Cabo decides to kidnap Esther to draw out Diana. Bere’s in the middle of all of this. She tells Jaime a bomb is going to drop on his Colombian friends.
Samario sees cops and reporters at Esther’s house and reports back. Esther gives a press conference with Cabo’s cocaine laid out on the table before her. Cabo is watching it on TV. He's furious!

Deb, Dondi and Halimacandy, I can't keep up with the dizzying and twisting subplots, but your recaps and comments help and also catch the crazy plot hole mistakes. I don't get Sebas turning on his parents to such an extreme. Was he living with Santi's sister? How come she didn't visit with him when he returned to Miami with Hilda and crew? How come she and other relatives didn't pester CG to help free Santi from jail? Didn't Santi complain that CG never communicated even one update on their kids? And whose Miami mansion are Hilda and crew staying in?
Why did Sal suddenly turn on Hilda after she pulled herself together for the interview? Given Hilda's worries, shouldn't Mateos have held off on telling her about Sal's betrayal?
Why did Vane and crew break into Letitia's house when Letitia had been begging the DEA to investigate her missing daughter? Couldn't they just wait for the husband to return?
How is Diabla now HIV negative when her blood test donation for Daniela's hissy fit showed that she was HIV positive? Did she get the same forgetful scriptwriter's miracle cure that CG got from the original series?
I'm so confused!

yep, this is a crazy show.
on the house Hilda's gang is staying, I'm assuming it's the house Santi and Cata lived in for 20 years.
on Diabla's HIV I'm making another assumption, that Hand's shots worked, she had gotten lab results, for Albeiro anyway (who I don't think ever was HIV positive) and I'm guessing for her as well as being the reason she then took out Hand, but at the hospital when they told her she was HIV negative she acted like Hand was playing her all along.
I think Leticia has been working with Hilda, Sal and the detective who died on finding Carla, Hilda had told Cata who was, well Cata, and they were going to meet with her.
I guess Ivan has been watching the house, he reported "a transportation service for the elderly picked up the man who was there", is why they broke in then, earlier Leticia had said he was dying, and going blind from diabetis, so...
I never was impressed with Sal, he's in this game because Albeiro was paying him.
at least we are being spared Carlos' barking and biting all of his daughter Cata's enemies, like Cuina, wait, that might work.
yep, Titi turns Cata's world upsidedown everytime, and I think she loves it.

Deb, I also initially thought Albeiro was paying Sal to promote Hilda's fashions, and Sal excitedly assured Albiero that Hilda was truly talented and gorgeous. It just occurred to me that Albiero may have been trying to hook Hilda up with another lover so he'd be free to return to CG even though Carlos, Calvo and Diabla had already estranged Albiero and Hilda. But later Albiero made a reference to simply entering Hilda's designs in the fashion week competition. If Albiero still had Marcial's money to pay Sal, he'd have money to rent his own damn apartment instead of crashing on everyone's couches.
Also, in an earlier season, when Diabla had her sister's body dumped, I noticed the sister's eyes pop open. This indicated the writers planned to have her get future revenge on Diabla. But recasting Diabla changed that storyline.
