El Dragon #48, 12/6/19 (Season 2 Episode 10): All Tied Up

We left off on Wednesday night with Miguel handcuffed to a bed. Which under the right circumstances some might find interesting, however, this seems to be against his will, and after being drugged. Chisca has been caught by Ishiro in Miguel’s room, and Zaragoza being beat with a bat by his old friend Epig, and Tania Farchala’s mother being held at gun point by crazy Hans. This episode is a little rough. I did most of it live and then just looked at a few scenes for some dialogue I had missed. Since I am actually on the East Coast this weekend, I didn't get a chance to watch it live early in the evening and then recap from the playback. Hats off to all of you who do this in real time. Because my brain hurts by midnight. Hope it makes sense and enjoy.

So in Maria's house we pick up where we left off with Maria saying they are going to be so happy. Miguels confused, asks, what are you saying Maria, take off the handcuffs.” She is psyco. “What I like the most about you are your eyes.” He calls her crazy and she gets crazy upset. I am wondering if that is the problem that occurred when her medicine ran out. And why she lives in the middle of nowhere alone. He tells her “free me, right now.” “You don’t know who you are messing with, they will come looking for me. What do you want? Money?” Maria tells him that she doesn’t like his tantrums and said they will talk at dinner. Then she calms down and asks him if he likes tomato soup. That if he doesn’t answer, she will make what she wants.

In the home of Tania’s mom she is swearing she doesn’t know where Tania is. He asks about the conversation. “Why did you tell your daughter ‘God Bless your husband?’ And he thinks that Farchala is alive. The mom said that it isn’t true, but that she has no idea where her daughter is. That they left and didn’t say where. Hans catches on to the fact that she said they. Farchala is alive. The mom answers back, ‘even if I knew, I would never tell you. “ He shoots her in the head and then uses her finger to access her phone and uses the caller ID duh! Uses her thumbprint to enter her phone and calls the number. Clinica San Miguel VeraCruz maternity.

Chisca is in the room with Val and Val is drilling her on how she escaped Ishiro. She tells Val what she told Ishiro. That she was tired of him and so she left the spa. She gets upset at the interrogation and goes off on Val. He reminds her am not the enemy. But then goes back to interrogating her. Did you look well, or did the Chinito stop you? Chisca does take offense to him calling Ishiro that. She tells him that she turned the room upside down. She didn’t look in the safe because she tried a lot of codes and couldn’t figure his out.

Back to Miguel. Maria is putting a powder in his soup. Prob what she put in his drink. He is trying to escape. He finds the screw to the bed post but can’t reach. He is becoming more lucid. He sees a broach on the bedside table and struggles to get it into his hands to help him get the bed frame loose. She comes in with the poisoned dinner. “You are hot, I know you are dying for us to make love but first you need strengthen up.” At first he doesn’t want to eat. Then he tries to be reasonable, suggesting that she release him so that the two of them can eat more comfortably. She says that she loves attending him. He is eating the food she drugged. Adela calls him. He tells her that Adela is his secretary. She doesn’t believe him. “What is there between you?” She asks in her crazy tone, and cancels the call. Then she gets calms again, saying, ‘it isn’t good to talk on the phone at dinner time.” And goes back to feeding him.

On the other side of the world, Adela is saying that the calls are going directly to the voicemail. She doesn’t know what’s going on. Jimena, being her usual lovely self, says, maybe he doesn’t want to answer. Then goes on…as long as we don’t hear from Miguel, we can’t do anything. Trejo says he can look into posible positions, just in case. Jimena tells him no way. Trejo reminds her that Miguel said that he is in charge. Jimena asks if he has thought of the consequences. The possibility that the women could sell them out. Adela asks if Jimena thinks they are Russian spies and Jimena says that at least a spy would know what the information is worth. Those women would be willing to sell whatever information, to whomever, for 500 pesos. Adela says, ok, then we will not help them, they will end up back with their husbands, in the hospital and then dead. Trejo tries to interject but Adela tells Jimena, I always knew you didn’t have a heart but now I know you are talking about something else. Trejo says that he will look into everything they have talked about and needs to think, and then flees the scene. Adela tell Jimena, “prefect, we are finally alone, its about time, let’s talk face to face.”

We are back with the psycho. And I laugh at what is a common trope of TN’s. The fact that our protagonist is always so wonderful, so captivating, that women, (or men) literally go crazy for them, and want them at any cost. I mean SR is gorgeous of course. But I don’t think he is worthy of the psychos that fall for him. So anyways, I regress, Maria is trying to give him the last bite of food and he refuses so she asks him “Why do you make it hard when I have only taken care of you.” As if he were being unappreciative. Miguel answers, “If I don’t answer the call, they will think something happened to me.” She tells him, well nothing bad has happened to you. On the contrary, you are being very well taken care of. He tries again in a voice of reason, as if he is ok with the situation. “It would be best if you answered the phone next time.” Maria leaves and Miguel starts working on the screw again. But he starts feeling the effects of the drugs again, this time it looks like a stomach issue and passes out. How long is it going to take him to use the common trick they always make women use in these shows. I mean she keeps feeding him. Won’t he need to use the restroom at some point. I don’t think she is going to find him to sexy if she has to clean up his shxx.

Back to the verbal catfight, Jimena tell Adela “Your problem Adela, is that you think Miguel is in love with you. But the problem is that to Miguel only one thing is important in the world, Miguel Garza. Miguel is a selfish person who just uses people. He is using you too. He lets you buy four little beds for your foundation to keep you happy, meanwhile, we are laundering millions of dollars of drug money. He didn’t even love his dead wife, why do you think she killed herself.” Obviously, Miguel did not share the history of his wife with Jimena and she has jumped to her own conclusions. Interestingly, although Jimena is right about a lot in this situation. She doesn’t see what Adela sees. She really doesn’t know the loving side that Miguel shared when they met. Adela sees who Miguel was and could be again. But Jimena doesn’t even know that man exists. Adela looks at Jimena in shock. “How can you say that Jimena? Are you hearing yourself?” “You can play the moral one all you want, but deep down, you know I am right. But what do you think he is doing in Spain right now. Screwing anything that will help his business. This is Miguel.” Adela finally gets another word in. “You know I had my doubts about your resentment, but now you leave it very clear.” Jimena again takes back the conversation. “After what happened with me, I thought you would understand. That’s why I am telling you, so hopefully, you don’t make the same mistakes I did.

Why do I keep getting Epig tortures scenes? Epig tells Z that he is stubborn. Z argues that Don Lamberto put Miguel in charge, we have to respect him. Epig tells Z that he isn’t even one of us. Z says he isn’t a traitor and tells Epig, kill me, kill me then. Epig pulls out the gun and puts one between his eyes.

Adela tries to call Miguel again, and supposedly, heeding Miguels word, Maria answers. I am sure this just makes Adela think again about about what Jimena said about women. Although, Adela and Miguel are very straight forward on that front. She knows what the deal is. Maria tells Adela that Miguel is busy and hangs up.

Pierro is upset that they don’t have the prototype. Val says that they haven’t gotten it, Ishiro is always there. Chisca searched the room but she couldnt continue because of Ishiro. Pierros says that’s easy , we just take out Ishiro. He says they can make it look like an accident or a robbery. Val agrees. He just doesn’t want Miguel to suspect anything.

Adela runs into Victor in the elevator. He finds it coincidental that of all the places they could have run into each other, it happened to be in the elevator. He tells her that she looks great. She says that they will probably be running into each other more now that she is back to work. He says he doesn’t think so. He found offices in the north of the city, he is moving. He doesn’t want to run into her. Adela tells him that they can be friends. Victor answers, I know that you can, but I can’t. Adela tells him, You don’t have to leave. Victor being the gentleman he is tells her, I want you to be happy. I hope that Miguel gives it to you. And If not, we can see who is stronger, the Samarai, or me. You know where I will be if he can’t make you happy. They hug and wish each other the best.

Edna is at the home of Tania’s mom. She says it is obvious it was a murder. That if someone is willing to kill Tania’a mother, it must be something big. Edna sends Gary to go and see Farchala, but to be careful. Hans shows up in Veracruz at the clinic.

Farchala and his wife are talking about going to the house and fixing everything up for the baby. She tells him to go home and don’t come back tonight because he will be too tired. Hans sees Farchala exit and follows him. He gets home and Hans enters through a garden door with a gun. He tells Farchala that for a dead guy he looks good. He congratulates him on becoming a father after pistol whipping him. Hans tells Farchala that what he wants is the formula for the Efilina so that he can continue enjoying the life, house, everything he has. He asks him how he got out. Farchala lies and says he hired someone to give him a new identity. Hans doesn’t believe him. Tells him that no one is going to give hime a new identity, a house, a car, in exchange fro nothing. Farchala tells him that the formula doesn’t work. That there are side effects.

Kenia and Jorge are talking about their new living situation. They are discussing how they are going to split the costs. Kenia says like normal people, we split it in half. Jorge asks about the apartment and Kenia explains that she rents from Pilar, that she is a great person. “You could say she saved my life.” Jorge tells Kenia “Can I ask you something. Why do I feel like you are hiding something or that you don’t want to tell me.” Kenia tries to turn it around on him. You don't tell me everything. Jorge answers “I have nothing to hide.” Kenia test that statement and ask him So...Your family is still trafficking?” Jorge answers honestly. “As far as I know we move merchandise from Mexico to the US or other countries.” Although, knowing there is a mole out there made my antennas go up. She kinds seemed like she was overly curious. The writers keep playing with us about who the mole is.

Farchala is getting beat by Hans. Hurry up and show up Gary!!! Hans finally gets Farchala to give up Miguel's name. Yikes, add another person to the enemies of Miguel. Hans puts Farchala in what looks like a sauna and turns the heat all the way up.

In the hangar where the plane of Zaragoza is located, his guy is telling someone on the other line, “I can’t let the plane leave with the approval of Z.” All of a sudden they are being shot at. Z’a guy goes running into the hanger. Then out Lobo has a gun on Z’s right hand guy. Epig I want to know who you were talking to on the phone. He shoots z’s guy and ePig tells Jackson on the phone that he is going to have to deal with him now. When he asks who he is, he tells him Epigmenio Moncado.

Gary finally shows up and finds the house open and the blood on the floor, a broken chair. He pulls out his gun and pulls Farchala out of the sauna. He is dead.

In Spain, Miguels friend tries to call him. Chisca’s is eating with Ishiro. She asks Ishiro...Are you mad I went into Miguels room without permission. Ishiro answers...I don’t get mad. Chisca tells him that Everyone does. Ishiro explains the Samurai are trained to inhibit certain emotions. Chisca tells him that that is horrible. Ishiro tells her that what is horrible is to not be able to dominate oneself. Anger kills, Love revives. Why would you want to inhibit the most beautiful feeling. He is looking at her with super intensity and she is looking back and of course Mr. Bad timing had to show up.

Dora answers the phone. Mario calls, Z is dead.

Ishiro is following Chisca and Val when some men start looking at him. Two try to attack him. Val and Chisca see what happen and Chisca runs back. She asks what happened and he says Tried to assault me. Not safe anywhere.

Miguel is still in the bed, he is remembering being sick, and cared for at the hands of Asya. She is putting a cloth on his head and telling Tadamichi, “the fever won’t go away, I think he is intoxicated. What can I do?” Tadamichi tells her that all Miguel needs is fasting and meditation. The body needs to learn to heal itself. Then Miguel wakes up and he gets back to working on the bed. He drops the necklace or tool he was using to unscrew the bar of the bed when Maria comes in. She gets into the bed with him and tells him. “I am all yours.”

Adela and Dora, Peligros are trying to call Miguel but his number is not available. Adela walks in and asks what happened. They killed Zaragoza. We don’t know what to do. We can't reach Miguel. Adela asks if they have tried calling Chisca or Ishiro. Dora calls Ishiro. He tells her that Miguel went to Sevilla to buy a ranch. He isn’t with them. Ishiro says that he can cant reach him either. Dora tells him that it is urgent and that he needs to get in touch with them as soon as possible. Adela, says this isn’t good. That no one has been able to get ahold of Miguel.

Manic Maria is once again tending to our hero?? I always thought the perfect man didn’t exist until I met you. I only want appreciation, love. She tells him they could live there forever. Grow their own food, raise their own animals. Or better yet, become vampires and feed off of each other. She is shaving him and cuts him. Then proceeds to lick his blood. Then she says it is time.

Adela still trying to reach him. We have to do something. Something is wrong, I am sure.

Maria is getting milk and putting more poison. She doubles the dose. The serves the milk. She adds sugar to the milk.

In Veracruz, Tania is trying to call Farchala and he isn’t answering. The nurse comes out. She takes a cab to the house and the cops are there with a body covered. She realizes what could have happened and gets back into the taxi with the baby and tells them to get her out of there.

Paco shows up to pick up Miguel and Maria hears him and meets in the front door. I came to look for Miguel. He’s alive, but left. Paco says it is unlike him to do so without saying goodbye. He didn't think he was that rude. Maria says that Miguel told her to say goodbye for him. But you can hear Miguel calling mute sky the entire time. Maria smiles and acts like there is nothing going on. Finally Miguel let's out what sounds like a loud Paco!!!

And there our Friday night ends my friends. Hopefully Paco saves Miguel, Miguel learns a lesson about casual sex and Maria gets back on her meds. See you all next Friday night:).

Thanks, Esther. I liked your recap much more than the episode.

Last night was like a torture-a-thon, so I surfed in and out. But I'm glad I did catch the scene where Ishiro dispatches Val's two rented thugs. I got the feeling Chisca sensed Val was behind this.

Wondering how many previous flash boyfriends Maria's got buried on her ranch. I'm thinking the chains and the poison have been busy before.

Hans killing Farchala makes no sense. Now how is he going to get the Efilina formula? This doesn't look good for Jimena. I can see Farchala going after her to get to Mig.

Thank you, Esther.

Niecie, I'm just going to DITTO your comment because I was surfing in and out too whenever I foresaw torture scenes; so I missed most of the episode. I too was fortunate to see Badass Lucho splat those two thugs like flies, but I missed the Adela-Jimena verbal brawl. Oh well, Esther did a fine job of giving us that spat.

Thanks again, Esther!

I'm with you there, Niecie, with my thanks to Esther for his horrible episode to have to recap and how you felt about the torture-a-thon (and the mercy? killing of Zaragoza)

Best scene: Ishiro's take-down of the two thugs. Chisca was impressed, a bit, but I don't think she has a clue as to why they attacked him and where.

Farchala getting offed makes sense to me. I don't think Hans believed him for a minute that the formula didn't work. Miguel wouldn't have taken it otherwise. And Hans knew it worked because he had used some of the prototypes.

He doesn't want any loose ends, is my guess. I'm surprised he left the wife and baby alive. He knew where she was. I feel sorry for her now, she's the one that got her mother and husband killed for her indiscretion after Jimie warned her.

So, Kenia still has some secrets she won't share with Jorge (or us). Whatever they are, it would affect not only her job but her relationship with Jorge and the rest of the team. I'm beginning to think the feds know her secret and it's possible she's the mole and hands over stuff that won't affect her. OR, that's what we are led to believe.

Well, thank you Esther for a fun episode. 'Bout time to start thinning the herd. There were getting to be too many for me to keep track of, so kill a few.

After Chiscass and Ishiro had their little innocuous chat about Luuuurve and Hate, with Ishiro telling her he does not allow himself to hate, but fully embraces the most wonderful thing of all....Luuuuurve, he seemed to grow on Chiscass' ovaries a tiny bit. And there was a split second sideways look after Isiro turned the two assassins into tripping hazards. I thought or maybe just wished, she connected it to Not Valid, as he was trying hard to hide his dismay / shock.

Urban, tonight's Darwin awards had to go to the chemist Fartlata and his dumbass wife. They did so many things to qualify. Like Cynthia said earlier, keep that same cockroach infested looking beard, same stooped chemist/scientist/physicist posture, haircut, dollar store clothes, and simply get a new driver's license?

A close second was Wife Fartalot / Portobello who just HAS to call Mom. How'd that work out? 'Love ya Mom, umm...bye.'............forever

The Adela Jimenema catfight actually was fairly factual. Jimenema embellished it to her advantage, but she was for sure in the neighborhood.

Were we all wrong about Victor? He sure looked and sounded heartbroken in 'their' elevator. And he is doing the noble thing and getting out of the way. Look on the bright side Vic, move on, you've already plowed that field, Son.

It was interesting when Paco asked StickChick if Migdog was still alive. It was one of those sorta, we hopeo, gottabe, joking comments. You could take it as in 'Did you BOINK him to death?' or something much more sinister.

And the way StickChick went from full on cray cray to Southern Bat Shit Crazy when Mig told her so said it all. Yikes. Meanwhile sweet little Adela pines away for you saving it all for you to come home back in the Garza Strip war zone.

Thanks again

Esther: Good Job on the recap.

Kirby: Body Count increases AGAIN. Tania & the baby got out of dodge didn't they ?

Anita: Kenia (Goth Chick) could be the mole.

Esther, thank you so much. I watched this episode last night, but I had to surf away from the torture. This show is very dark and depressing.

Wow...Mig and his policy of never saying "no" to an offer of casual sex has gotten him into a bad situation. Is his pal going to hear him and come to the rescue? Embarrassing for a stud muffin getting all trussed up and helpless like that. Maybe it will teach Mig to be a bit more circumspect....nah...just kidding.

Steve: Yeah, put in one and a half provisional, as their days arer numbered. Like go ahead and count them, but with an asterisk meaning 'pending'. :-)

Thank you Esther, I like others here, couldn't stand the torture scenes. I was very sad that Zaragosa is dead, I really liked the guy as he was really entertaining.

Now how did Hans get over to Farchala's house so quickly? How far is Vera Cruz from Mexico City? Did he just hop on a private jet and wham, bam, he's there? And of course Hans was there when Tania phoned her mom. In the right place at the right time. Must be a supernatural demonic power. With ePig too, he's always in the right place at the right time. It's as though Satan transports these bad guys to commit horrible acts to others.

I'm pretty sure that Chisca and Val were behind the attack on Ishiro. Maybe it was shown, but I FF'd through it. I get so tired of anything having to do with Chisca.

I must admit this was one of the only novela episodes that I haven't been able to watch during my years of telenovela addiction. I even remember how violent a few episodes of Pasión were when "El Antillano" and "Alberto LaFont" were going at it (I refrain from giving away spoilers) and how I had to turn a blind eye. Just shooting a guy between the eyes isn't gory — but branding him is gross.

But this episode last night had torture, blood and guts, and some one-way S&M. And, since I didn't watch, maybe more gross stuff.

So, Ester thank you for recapping such a delicate and horrifying episode.

Let's hope that Chisca listened closely to Ishiro say "Hate Kills, Love Revives". I still think she falls in love with Ishiro.

If we're taking votes on who is the mole, I vote for Trejo. It's not Jorge, and making Kenia the mole would be too cruel for Jorge. It might be Flaco, but I like his character too much. I don't know what the Feds could have on Jimena that could turn her, but maybe one of you could guess.

Cynthia--Val and Piero cooked up the "do away" with Ishiro plan on their own. I don't think Chisca knew anything about that. Val is keeping her out of the darker side of his plans. He says he wants the Happy Pill for the two of them, for their future and to keep her happy.

What a hypocrite--telling Chisca (earlier) that they need to stay clean for their future children. Then he goes and gets a noseful. Of course he's not being a hypocrite. He's only manipulalting Chisca and doing a very good job. He and his wife are going to share the spoils--if he and Piero get ahold of the stuff.

From the moment we saw Mig chained up hands and feet, I started worrying about potty breaks. Tns (fortunately, I guess) haven't gotten that realistic. Hmmm. would I rather watch a potty break or someone getting branded and shot between the eyes. It's kind of a toss up, especially if I'm having something to eat.

Anita, I for one, do not believe that Not Valid has any more plans to share with his recently x'd wife than he does to share with Chiscass. Or anybody for that matter. He manipulated, or Boyipulated his wife into the di-vorce just like he is manipulating Chiscawhodoesnothaveabrain in this whole thing. Like he told his buddy, "Addicts are sooo easy."

Ok you guys what I thought was right is right. Ishiro is wearing eye liner. Thank goodness one very important question answered.

Ahhh Good Morning, thanks. Eyeliner huh? Odd. Is that some Japanese Yakuza thing ?
He has pointy, funny looking sideburns too.

"Women are marginalized by the Yakuza. Even the daughters and wives of clan members tend to be little more than servants at best, and they're sometimes used as gang prostitutes. Women rarely hold positions of power (with one notable exception, which we'll discuss later) [source: The Guardian]. Illegal gambling and prostitution are Yakuza hallmarks, while the smuggling of banned goods such as drugs, firearms and pornography is also profitable."

Hmmm given THAT I wonder how much of a future we can expect with Chiscass and Ishiro. The article didn't mention makeup but did talk about lots of ritual body tattoos.

Higher-level Yakuza often play the Japanese stock market, sometimes legally. They may also find or invent incriminating information about a company and use this information to blackmail its board of directors. After buying shares of the company's stock, a clan sends some of its members to board meetings, where they threaten company officials with the release of the evidence. Yakuza can exert a great deal of control over businesses this way or simply demand payoffs [source: Crime Library].

Thanks, Esther, for the recap and to Kirby for the new info on the Yakuza.

What NotValid is conveniently forgetting -- and Chisca may not want to know -- is that past drug use also affects offspring. Chisca is completely delusional at any thought of having children, as they would interfere with her lifestyle.

As for Maria, those scenes were making me sicker than Jimena's vile behavior toward Adela. Sick enough to put Miguel in a psych ward later.

The murder of the drug creator is going to be felt as a setback, but I don't recall anyone investigating what killed Chisca's friend from that stuff.

RIP, Zaragosa. You were amusing.

Kirby,

Evidently, the eye liner is to help make him look more Japanese. Actually, Alex Durán is super, super good looking, IMO. He and SR went through 3 months of martial arts training together and some speech training to help with their Japanese accents. Durán said he had an especially hard time with his scenes because he is a very expressive guy and the director had to keep telling him to calm down and be stoic. I read an interview he gave, so is this gossip according to Caray rules ????

And yes, body tattoos are part of the Yakuza ritual history, but I only know this because Urban got me interested when she mentioned them in a previous post and I Googled Yakuza.

So I guess Miguel learned his dirty financial skills playing the stock market under Yakuza king pins, along with his blackmailing schemes.

WOW, I've started reading The Guardian a few months ago but haven't read anything as wild as an article about the Yakuza. Was this lately or awhile ago ?

If women aren't allowed to wear eye glasses in public while at work, I would guess that means they are pretty much marginalized, but then, I've never lived there so what do I know ?

Urban Since NotValid really could care less about having kids with Chisca, I doubt the dangers of snorting coke even enters his evil brain. He is so sleazy and makes me so sick, I'm beginning to >>FF through his scenes.

Why do telenovelas usually portray women as weak, timid, dominated characters or ones dressed with ALL to see (Nancy in PASL)? Stupid question.

I did find it entertaining when Howard threw out the USA Worker's Rights Bills about not being fired because of his kinky sexual preferences. Yeah right!! He is employed with the IRS right?

Why doesn't Miguel realize that the smart thing to do is play nice, play along, then María will untie him, and he can escape? Where is his warrior training? He sure hasn't shown much common sense. He's building up enough enemies that he'll hardly be able to take care of them all in the remaining 30 or so episodes.

Kirby and victoria, thanks for the information about the Yakuza. Would you call it a crime cult ? I had never heard of it before, but then I guess that I have lived a pretty sheltered life. Yikes, it seems that every day I find out more and more about the world today that is unbelievable and terrifying. Uff.

Well, I guess that we will find out on Monday if Mig's friend heard his muffled cries for help and will rescue him from VeryCrazyMary.

What's next for our strong, silent, oblivious lead ?....no galan in this show...Maybe Adele and Pel. Speaking of sideburns, I find it fascinating and curious that Pel is bald but sports those big old sideburns.

It surely is looking like our real galan may be Mr. Ishiro, not the one making the big money.

Don't know how old the guardian info is.

Believe me, all these other questions have to do with brainwashing in essence. Media and TV are so far out of kilter with ordinary good people, there can be no other reason. If you see it enough from grade school onward EVERYWHERE on TV and in movies, it must be the way things are right? I'm old enough and smart enough to know better.

Watching all the monitors on the walls at Naga y Co and guys clicking away on keyboards, reminds me of my younger years when Pokemon and Game Boy with Tetrus came out. Now we live with a cell phone stuck to our ear. And I feel like totally isolating myself because life isn't a bed of roses anymore.

Kirby--Wow! I thought Yakuza was just some ritual throwback "club" to more ancient times, sort of like re-enactors of today, with all the pomp and circumstances (but no real beheadings). That's scary. Scarier than even the cyber gangs of today.

Victoria and Urban
"Urban Since NotValid really could care less about having kids with Chisca, I doubt the dangers of snorting coke even enters his evil brain." Actually that was one of the lines Val tried to use on Chisca when she was going through withdrawl symptoms in Madrid to manipulate her better--using the excuse that he wanted BOTH of them clean for their future children. I remember Chisca looking at him like he was crazy, but her delusion is that she's on the way to the altar with him, so children ought to figure in there somewhere down the line.

Victoria--I remember the original Tetrus and Lemings. It took me awhile to get it out of my system in favor of reading and TV. Much simpler life! My cell phone only gets any use when I'm out on errands or on a trip.

Can't Flaco trace Miguel's location through his phone? I would think so, duh..... The question would be:. Can they get to him before María makes him a eunuch.

I think that if Someone told Flaco what was going then he would be able to do something about it. But everyone plays their info super close to the vest. Everyone is on a need to know basis. The only person who seems open with it is Miguel...sometimes.

La Loca boiled his phone so I don't think they can trace him that way. The cavalry seems to be on the way so he should be out of there tomorrow night.

Love that info about the actor playing Ishiro. Stoic is much eaasierbwhen it's part of your culture... or you go into the business world. Just pray that Chisca doesn't manage to boink him.

You think Tania & the baby's days are numbered ?

Ishiro is probably safe as long as he isn't forced to spend a lot of time alone with Chiscass when she has happy dust.

Then, I am not certain even his Japanese underworld training could save him.

Yes steve they are goners

Victoria: "María makes him a eunuch." from what we have seen thus far, that might be the singular thing which might save his life, if he and his boys get out of this adventure.

A he-ho meets his match.

Mr. Garza, you and Mr. Rodriguez are dead even in the test. As a tie breaker, you each will have two minutes to compose a short poem or Limerick with the word Timbuktu.

Mr. Rodriguez are you ready?
Yes
Across the burning desert sand
came a camel caravan

Beneath a sky of azure blue
Destination, Timbuktu.

Quite good. Mr Garza, and yours?:

Tim and I a hunting went
Spied three ladies in a tent

Since they were three
and we but two
I buck one and Timbuktu.

Kirby, the poet! Who knew! Thanks for the laugh; good one!

Kirby, thanks for the laughs!

Well we shall see what transpires today. Will Paco get Miguel out of trouble? Will they report Sticklady Dirty Mary the police for unlawful imprisonment? Will police find bodies buried out in Dirty Mary's vineyard property?

And please no more torture scenes!

Tonight: The Great Escape.

Kirby,

You are so funny. I'm still laughing about the blow up male doll you mentioned the other day! Of course, us chicks don't need the whole doll...My stomach can't take much more!!!!!!

Cynthia, I agree, SR is one hunk of a guy, but seeing him tied up arms and legs is about more than I want to see; I rather see him and AB doing the deed in LQLVMR.

Hopefully, the scene directors have him on an antique brass bed so he can unscrew one or two screws and get the hell out of there. Question is:. Will he still want to buy her vineyard????

Tonight, tonight.
