El Dragon #74, 1/8/20:A Sinking Ship and Betrayal on All Fronts

My job schedule left me with no time but to list a very few highlights.  Anyone wanting to add today feel free and I can add to main part. - ed.

  • Flaco suspects Kenia and secretly goes into his safe computer and sees Kenia took the photo of his favorite car and plates and used it to hack the computer.  He follows her out the next chance he gets; she says she's going to the bank.  He follows her there, chats amiably and then once she leaves he plays like he wants a box of his own but it's way to small.  He notes Gary the Government Agent walk in and go to open an empty P.O.Box and find nothing.  Yup.  It's Kenia who's been spying on everyone, keeping the government goons hot on their heels.  He reports his find to Miguel.
  • Trejo and Jimena feel like this ship has sunk.  Trejo emphasizes that it's a betrayal to leave Miggy.  She thinks he wouldn't kill a fly.  "No.  He does't kill; he orders those to kill for him."  Still, he secretly pays for a passport for himself.
  • Gary meets the U.S. FBI agent that Edna's invited to turn Kenia over to.  Gary fights her over it.  She accuses him of having fallen in love with Kenia.  She gives him UHHnaother last chance.
  • Edna goes home early and while in the bathroom getting up a bath she hears her husband on a nasty phone conversation about how he cannot stand living with his tea-totalling wife, goodie two-shoes, playing father confessor to her just so he can relay what he learns to Carlos.  Carlos is begging him to help him out since his other friends have left him high and dry.  She pretends not to have heard the conversation by listening to her earpods, and then feigns headache and not wanting any touch or attention.
  • Epigmenio plays games with Adela via cell phone chat.  She stops chatting.  Strange convo.  He remarks to Tacho about it.  Tacho finds out about a guerrilla of General Jaramillo's who's taking photos of Pig and wife fooling around to turn him into the cops for the reward.  Pig beats him to death in front of Carmen and Tacho.  No biggy for Piggy.
  • Mig threatens the scientist about finding a cure to the bleeding with Efilina.
  • Hector goes on an interview on tv to badmouth the drug and tell all why they're bleeding despite Mig's begging him to wait.
  • Miguel has Ishiro listen in on the meeting with Flaco.  They invite Jorge to learn the truth about his girlfriend.  Jorge goes nuts and runs home then calls Kenia to remember where they talked about fleeing to in "paradise.
  • Mig tells family Jorge's upset because Kenia's the spy.  He's told Ishi to bring her in for question and answer time.  Afterwards he has no more use for her.  Ade cannot believe she's betrayed all and that Mig will have her killed after torturing her for answers.  His decision is made!
  • Dora gripes at Miggy for screwing over the family.
  • Kenia packs her bag and starts to flee.  Just outside the building across the street she notes Ishi looking her way ready to cross.  Ruh-roh!

Jardinera: Thank you for the detailed analysis.

1.) Kenia: the female Fredo will get whacked tonight. Big question is how will she get whacked ?

2.) Edna still an IDIOT.

3.) Tadamachi has something planned for Miguel. NEVER piss off somebody, who's been there with you over the years.

4.) Adela made her bed with the Latino Michael Corleone & now she'll have to lie in it.

5.) 11 days left in this Teleserye. Will Jorge's flashbacks be exposed ?

6.) Dora the old exotic dancer ROFLOL.

7.) Chisca: do NOT get me started.

Jardinera: Thank you

1.) Maybe Mig will have ADELA do it.
2.) BUT BUTTT an enlightened idiot now that she heard the 'confession'. Heaven hath no fury.......
3.) Unknown to Miguel, Ishiro's true allegiance actually still is to Tadamichi.
4.) If she would tell Granny the truth, Gramma might talk her out of that bed.
5.) The shock of seeing Kenia beheaded might do it. Yay!
6.) Anybody else notice her makeup was decidedly more flattering last night? (Lipstick on a pig)
7.) Thankfully she DID. So no baby Ishi yet.

Lots of "Eyes Wide Open" in this one! But are Adela's eyes open wide enough? If she doesn't jump this sinking ship soon, she's going down too. Kirby, "If she would tell Granny the truth, Gramma might talk her out of that bed." Oh, if only!

Edna sure held it together after her eyes were opened, impressive!

Miguel should have known better than to tell Jorge about Kenia. The man is really losing his grip on EVERYTHING!

RGV Chick: Jorge's flashbacks will get exposed one way or another. Big question is whether Adela's grandmother will tell her annoying granddaughter to think TWICE about staying with the Latino Michael Corleone ?

Kirby: I'm looking forward to seeing what Tadamachi has planned for that ungrateful Latino Michael Corleone. NEVER & I repeat, NEVER bite the hand that fed your expletive all of these years. Adela is Miguel's WEAKNESS & I wouldn't be shocked if Tadamachi has Ishiro shoot Adela...

OMG That actually makes sense, Tadi whacks Adela to teach Miggy the one lesson he did not remember about the hand biting.

Well, like RCV, I will be happy if Rosie inherits, somehow, the house, and moves Granny in.

Has anyone else earned the right to continue consuming air?

Thank you, Jardinera. You got most everything. The only other thing I noticed was the Colombian guy telling el Pig to get plastic surgery to change his face.

Wow, things are unraveling quickly for la familia Garza. I feel like I'm on a roller coaster heading for a cliff. You know the apocalypse is near when Chisca is the person of reason. I think she may be the only one left standing.

I know some of you don't like Kenia, but I do and I hope she and Jorge escape to paraiso. I realize we're too far from the finale for that to happen now. But they'll have to give us a bit of happy ending among the carnage. Won't they?

I know Jorge was traumatized from childhood and Dora never encouraged therapy, BUT I hate his frailty.Btw....Ms Piggy wife,, never seemed to bat an eyelash when hubby killed traitor........thanks for recapping all of you.

After seeing Gloria pitching a tough boxer he-man Turdo's things out, I am drooling over seeing a fiery little spitfire Edna deal with Mauricio after her Epiphany when she came home early. Then some of her needs to transmigrate over into Adela before it is too late.

Adela is like a sweet fully ripe peach which is beginning to become a bit soft. Eat it now, because tomorrow it will be ready for the garbage.

You did a very good job Jardinera. You pretty much got it all.

I don't like Kenia much but I do feel sorry for her. I do not want her to die at Ishiro's hands. I hope Ishiro just brings her in for questioning and that she confesses to all and lets them know about the terrorist thing she had been involved in with the first guy.

Not looking forward to anyone dying in this story except for ePig, Mrs. Pig, Tacho, Duarte, and Edna's husband. Oh wait, I'd like Howard to get fired at least.

Thanks, Jardinera. No biggy for Piggy. - teeheehee

Comparing Mig to Michael Corleone, Michael had his pop and then Tom Hagen for advice. Mig, thanks to his brushoff of Tadamachi, has nobody for wise counsel.

Jorge might not be the only person who tries to help Kenia. Flaco and Adela might jump to the rescue too. I felt all along that Flaco would've helped if she'd confessed to him sooner.

Kirby, I did notice that Kenia's normal black lipstick was a dark plum, a wee better. If she can escape Ishiro, she remove all the makeup and head piercings and run, run, run.

Nice to see Hector rebound.

From very early on we have heard Miguel Garza talk about how Ephilina could revolutionize the world of recreational drugs. He seems to see it as a safe alternative to much more harmful, addictive drugs, and has this altruistic notion that it could almost totally replace them, and, along the way make him one of the world's richest, most powerful men.

But he knows everything worth having has it's price, and there will be collateral damage along the way. Which kind of reminds us once again, that "The Road to Hell is paved with good intentions.".

And believe me, my disdain for Kenia has nothing to do with her going around looking like that when it is that long before Halloween, it has more to do with killing a handful of Marines in Tennessee. Just rubs me the wrong way, no matter how in love you are with Abdul Mohammed.

IMO Kenia must die. Kirby and I are tracking on Tennessee military murders. And while you’re at it, take Mr.Edna along too.

:-)
Bingo

Yup, Kenia must die or "disappear" by tomorrow. That will give her enough time to transmigrate over to "Mira Quien Baila." :-)

Thank you , Jardinera. I missed the show last night, so I am very grateful for the recap.

"Everything worth having has its price." WOw, kirby.. .so true. I am writing it down.

I think the ending of this show might be unusual. Boy meets girl...Boy sleeps with every other girl but her....Boy gets handcuffed to a bed by a crazy person...Boy has an epiphany and falls for girl ...Boy drags girl into his corrupt, dangerous wotld...everything turns bad....and so in the end.....?????

Never have I liked the leading man in a telenovela less. I am not a fan of antiheroes.

Kirby: The Michael Corleone Syndrome: it sounds good, looks good, but the ramifications & effects of your business always comes back to BITE you in the end.

transmigrate over to "Mira Quien Baila."

Good one RGV. Actually more than just Good.
And I aint looking forward to seeing that either.

But K 2 Ram...woofing and waggin'.

Blodthirsty bunch are we?
The patio cracks me up on these full moon nights. Howling ...

When will Adela figure out that Carmen is onto her?

When Carmen returns her gifts?

When she invites her to the Columbian jungle?

When she calls her by her real name by accident?

Right before she kills her?

Wake me up when Kenia (female Fredo) gets whacked.

Wake up, Steve.
