Fatima is acting like an idiot, as she has been since the beginning of this novela. The side-trip to Colombia seems like something out of another novela and an unnecessary distraction.

Thanks, SpanProf and Halimacandy, for your insightful remarks about this episode. I really have nothing to add, except that I think Leon and AG were probably discussing Eleonora's killing Isabel. IIRC, Leon told AG about that.

And I agree with both of you that the Colombia sequences seemed from another novela and were unnecessary, except to drag this POS on even longer. I think La Felina was originally in El Señor de los Depends, and at some point in La Doña2 she said something about the Casillas doing this, that, or the other thing (I neither remember nor care). So there is or was an attempt to meld La Doña2 with the other novela. Perhaps that's where the Colombia segment was inserted. ¿Quíen sabe? ¿A quíen le importa?

La dona 2. I just saw on Soap Dish that 100 Dias, which will replace La dona 2, isn't starting until April 28. Does that mean that La dona 2 isn't going to end for more than a month from now?

SpanProf, how dreadful! It's hard to believe this garbage will drag on for another month or more.

There's one thing that's not clear. If 100 Días replaces La Doña2, what will the new season of Enemigos Íntimos replace? Is Operación Pacífico almost over? And will Exatlón continue forever? Something seems screwy here.
 

La dona 2. Juanita: This is from La Dona 2 Archives-Daily Soap Dish. They generally seem to be accurate. Maybe there could be some special programs between La dona 2 and 100 Dias? One can hope. However, this would explain why there haven't been any ultimos capitulos announcements.

Hurrem seems to have gone back to the strategy she used on the Sultan, not just a pretty face but to get into his head, now she is getting into everyone's heads, including mine.

loved Mustafa's fairy tale romance, but should he have left it as a game, life in the harem.

interesting story where the Sultan brings Ebussuud Efendi (real person) into the fold to "bring local laws into conformity with Islamic law (sharia)" at a time when they were ruling many cultures, so Ebussuud visits Ibrahim walking past the bust of the Sultan and the Greek statues, Ha!

Mihrimah may very well be the devil but I have to keep reminding myself that the rules of romance are very much different for women and she is a virgin, I really like Yahya.

what is truly interesting is the insight this novela gives into a single man that rules the world, how is that done?

The assassination plot was weird. I thought El Guapo told him to kill the US ambassador to Colombia. The bomb was placed, but somehow Vargas became the hero who saved him. This is good for him in Colombia, but what about El Guapo?

I really liked the honest cop who got Jones out of there. And after they'd knocked him on the head in an earlier episode.

So I think there were 3 brothers. Wikipedia says our bad guy is Rodolfo Espinosa Roldán. Guapo pretended to be Humberto, in a wheelchair. Could Humberto have been the snakebit guy? We know that the youngest died. I thought it was the eldest brother who decided to go to el norte.
