Episode 177 – Part 1

We start with Kemel approaching Tarik outside of Asu’s office wondering why he is there. Before Tarik is able to answer, Asu slithers out to respond for him making up a story about needing someone to talk to so Tarik leaves. She then calls out Kemel on his game plan regarding the meeting and the company’s ownership. He doesn’t deny it as he plans to take over the company ownership. However, once mission is completed, he will give her the shares and a divorce. But like her brother, she is obsessesed and believes she can force someone to love her so she once again tells Kemel that he is what she wants. This despite having seen with her own eyes back at the cabin that he wants Nihan and not her. Bored with her insistence, Kemel walks away.

Emir is in his office with a lady when Tufan enters. A confident Emir is ready to have fun after Tufan confirms Leyla's on site. He assumes she will roll over easily and tells Tufan to prep for the stock transfer. Back at home, Nihan is searching her room feverishly for spy devices when Vildan comes in wondering what’s going on. Nihan tells her that Muhan told her Emir knows everything but Vildan doesn’t want to believe it. Finally convinced, Vildan concerned that Nihan could end up like Muhan, offers her phone to use. Nihan thinks it could be bugged too and instead goes to search Deniz’s room as well.

Back at the office, Leyla goes to Emir’s office and knowing she’s about to enter, he spews out at the lady that Deniz is the most important thing in his life and he wants to best team for her. He then welcomes Leyla. The lady leaves as Emir makes its obvious that he’s planning something for Deniz and retrieves the info from his coffee table for Leyla to see. A smug Emir jokes about having butterflies in his stomach as they each pass the other a portfolio. Emir assumes she’s going to sign over the shares but she instead has signed over the house and tells him to enjoy it. Emir is in disbelief as she asks him if he’s not going to sign. She pokes at him about the butterflies in his stomach and walks out. Upset, he signs off on the docs in front of a lawyer who entered after Leyla left. We then get a flashback of Zehir sneaking into the office earlier to slip a document among the papers that neither the lawyer nor Emir is aware of as he signs all the docs blindly.

Kemel in his office, discusses with his lawyer paternity cases and how long and difficult they can be. Nothing is decided at that time and the lawyer departs stating that Kemel’s secret is safe with him. Zehir enters and Kemel reveals his frustration, impatience and desire to be with his daughter and appears to hold back tears. Zehir, feeling sad for him takes the opportunity to share good news with him and informs him that they fixed one issue…Emir signed the docs. Kemel is happy to hear the news.

In the meantime, Hakan is at his office and empties the evidence box from Ozan’s room when he discovers a lone button in the evidence bag as well as a wedding ring. It causes him pause. He then calls Zenep who’s working her waitress job. She answers the phone excitedly and gives him the good news about the job. He wants to see her on the job but she doesn’t want the distraction so they agree to meet afterwards. He locks up the evidence with the exception of a picture and the button.

Episode 177 – Part 2

Back at the office, Leyla goes to Kemel’s office to tell him she gave Emir the house knowing her shares are more important for him. He then tells her that Emir knows everything and he’s sure he’s planning something. This causes Leyla to think back to what she overheard and saw in Emir’s office earlier and she relays it Kemel (as Emir planned). Nihan wants to call Nihan to warn her but NOW he gets a clue that the phones are probably bugged and tells her not to call. Kemel then instructs Zehir to get Nihan a new phone. The trio then all conclude that Asu can’t be trusted either but Kemel thinks she’s of value since she knows so much about Emir. Kemel then asks Leyla for the ultimate sacrifice….move into the Kozcoglu home with Nihan and Deniz. Leyla is in disbelief and rightly questions whether or not Emir would even allow it. Kemel then reveals that he and Nihan have already discussed it so Leyla makes a call to Nihan.

Back at the office Asu approaches Emir in his office and tells him he can’t keep her from seeing her mother and he smugly says he can and he has. She counters that if he continues, she will use her shares against him to make him weaker against Kemel and Nihan. In the meantime, Hakan is with Zenep and asks her if she has somewhere to live. She indicates she’s trying to save money but he offers her Shafak’s room since he has moved away. She doesn’t accept it citing her conservative family values...I mean her parent’s values. He then shows her a photo of Ozan’s hospital room from the day of the murder and she wonders why as he tells her to take a close look. He then shows her the button and she flashes back to her taxi ride home from the hospital that day. It was in the cab ride home from the hospital when she realized she lost that button struggling with Ozan. Hakan reveals someone lost it in Ozan’s room and she speculates it could have been hospital staff. She’s obviously shaken by the revelation and they decide to talk about it later. Then her survival instincts kick in and she now accepts his offer to move into his place, which appears to be part of his plan. Guess he’s not a decent guy after all.

Leyla has made it to the house under the guise of visiting Deniz, but really she’s there to let Nihan know that Kemel is waiting for her in the usual place. Emir receives a call from his house spy, Ebsane, that Leyla is in the house and Eda overhears. When the call is completed, Eda tells Ebsane, that she’s wrong for doing that and Ebsane tries to turn the tables on her, telling her she doesn’t know what she’s talking about.

Meanwhile, Nihan has found Kemel at the meetup where he tells her that Emir knows they were together the night before the accident and knows everything and then he gives her a new phone. She thinks back herself and agrees Emir has bugged the phone and tells Kemel he's right as she thinks back over past events. Kemel questions what she remembers but she doesn’t want to say. She does agrees Kemel probably knows everything and set a trap. Kemel knows there's more but she dismisses its importance saying it won’t change anything. He presses and she is forced to tell Kemel the details of Emir’s threat to throw Deniz off the cliff. Rightly so Kemel is enraged and wants to kill Emir and wants to go off and do just that. Nihan points out his reaction is exactly why she didn’t want to tell him anything. She doesn’t want to jeopardize their future. Kemel wants to kill Emir but she reminds him that would mean prison and another kind of separation for them.

Episode 177 – Part 3

That evening at Ayan’s place they’re checking the Kemel’s car and conclude it’s clean. Back at the house, Leyla and Nihan talk about living together when Leyla questions Nihan about getting a new nanny for Deniz and of course Nihan knows nothing about this. Leyla reveals what she heard and saw in Emir's office as well as the company name she saw on the literature on his table. Nihan does a quick phone search and discovers the company is not for families living in Turkey but for those living abroad. Meanwhile, Emir is speaking with Tufan over the 2 year visa that he has procured for Deniz as well as getting her passport.

Back at his place, Hakan shows Zenep around the house as well as to her new room. He then goes to prepare dinner. Meanwhile, Kemel and Nihan are face-timing with Deniz. The session ends and Kemel is torn but just then his parents stop by for a visit. While his dad goes to wash his hands, Fehime tries to talk to Kemel who is still angry at her for her deception regarding Deniz. She explains she did it thinking Emir would kill him and she didn’t want to lose him. They talks some more and finally he softens but still not happy that she hid his daughter and her fear from him. Just then, they both realize that Husylyn, was listening and learns for the first time Kemel has a daughter.

After a brief discussion with Eda (about Ebsane spying for Emir), Nihan goes to Deniz’s room and finds Emir placing the teddy bear in her room. She then asks him why he’s bothered Leyla and taken her house. He states it was Leyla’s choice so Nihan states if he wants them to live in peace, he has to allow Leyla to live with them. After joking that the house will be full of spies, he agrees with the new living arrangements. Alone, Nihan hugs the bear and then realizes that there is a spy cam in its eye. Emir appears to have expected this find and states “well done dear” back in his room.

Back at Hakan's, the new roommates are having dinner. Zenep is working her magic on Hakan to get info from him regarding evidence surrounding Ozan’s death. He reveals that Ozan’s death was a murder and she corrects him that it was a suicide. Hakan thought the same thing when he first reviewed the evidence but now he’s certain Ozan was murdered. Zenep tries not to reveal herself or her shock.

Tarik and Asu meet for dinner where she provides the evidence Tarik requested. It reveals that for almost a year, Banu has been receiving money from the Kozcoglu company.

Thank you, Nett! I'm in a rush this morning; so I'll be brief.

FINALLY both Kemal and Nihan know that Emir knows, but how long before Emir knows that they know and what will he do about it? More importantly what will Kemal and Nihan do. I think Deniz needs to be "kidnapped" and well hidden from Emir.

Did anyone notice the change in Zeynep's hair. The last few episodes (when she was being a nice girl) her hair was parted on the side and looked soft and clean...a much better look! But now it's back to being parted down the middle and looking oily...is she reverting back into her whiny, manipulative self?

Can't wait to see what Tarik will do about BANu...hopefully BAN-ish her!

I think Emir knows that they know, or suspect that he knows? He easily gave himself away with the teddy bear. What is he up to? He also threw Leyla a bone regarding the foreign babysitting company. Emir is definitely ahead of them still.

I wonder if Tariq can end up using Banu to uncover Emir, before fully vanishing her. I’m surprised she was able to hold it together for so long- I did think she actually ended up liking him. I can’t rememeber why she gave up on Emir, but it was likely her abortion?

RGV, I was wondering why I kept looking at Zeynep’s hair yesterday! It did look greasy. Either way, she’s definitely back to her old self- she needs to save herself from Hakan, and no doubt she’ll eat him out to Emir soon. Hakan is dumb, unless he’s setting her up in a trap.

Regarding zeneps hair....no I did not notice the change but she in the end has not changed. She easily uses her so called innocence as needed but Hakans move surprised me. I think he manipulated her to stay with him because he likes her..and not to trap her regarding the murder but I could be wrong. Her crime needs to be revealed.

Banu is interesting. A while back I thought she really liked Tarik even though she allowed Emir to use her...but guess I was wrong. But I do think the flame she carried for Emir dimmed when he made her abort but the money keeps her on his team. Im sure she would start with him again in a heartbeat if he wanted it to be.

Emir allowing Nihan to find the spycam was his message that he knows and puts them on notice they all know each other knows.Whats the next step. Is he tricking them into thinking he plans to take Deniz abroad or does he really plan to do it...who knows. Now it's a race to see who can stop the other from succeeding. Poor deniz does not deserve this...good thing shes too young to know whats going on around her.

How insecure...needy and selfish the Kozcoglu siblings are. No pride at all trying to force someone to want or love them. Control and power is all they know.

Episode 178 – Part 1

We start with Huselyn questioning what else the family is hiding from him. He questions his fatherly skills citing Zenep's wayward ways and his unknown granddaughter. He forgot about his murdering son Tarik. Anyway, they move on as Kemel informs them his going to recover his daughter without causing anyone harm and of course tells them not to worry.

Meanwhile Nihan confronts Emir in his office with the spy cam. He tries to downplay it with one of his many trivial orations, initially citing he just wanted to watch her sleep and then he indicates he’s a business man and he can do whatever he wants when she questions how he could do such a thing. Nihan eventually storms out as he sarcastically states he didn’t mean to do anything bad.

Tarik and Asu are dining out as he thanks her for the info she’s provided on Banu. Asu asks what he plans to do with the info now that he knows he’s living with a snake. She then suggests that he doesn’t do anything just yet and questions what his affiliation with Emir. She knows that people only stand with Emir by force or money. Then she flashes back to her conversation with Emir prior to this meeting with Tarik. In the flashback we learn that she alerted Emir about Tarik’s discovery of Emir and Banu’s money arrangement. But like the snake she is, she convinces Emir to let her tell the Tarik about the arrangement and then she can be his confident and still use him and pretend she is against Emir. Back at lunch, Tarik questions the alliance she proposes stating she has no power. She negates that and then gets him to confess the hold Emir holds over him is about the murder of Susan. He mutters the murder weapon.

A panicked Nihan calls Kemel to tell him about the spy cam and that Emir knows everything including their conversation in the hospital room. He tries to calm her and tells her not to admit anything to Emir. They know Emir is planning something but he has a plan as well. He then returns to his parents who pledge their support. He tells them he’s planning a way to exit this nightmare but in the meantime don’t say anything to anyone including Tarik.

Nihan and Vildan are with Deniz having already discussed Nihan’s discovery of the spy cam. Vildan tells her not to worry, Kemel will figure this out. Nihan thinks that only Kemel can understand what’s going in Emir’s mind. The next day, Emir Nihan and Vildan are having coffee when Nihan brings up the topic of caretakers. Emir assumes it’s about his mother but Nihan corrects him it’s about Deniz. They discuss a professional baby sitter for her. Emir doesn’t like the sound of it, as the house will become like a woman’s dormitory when Leyla moves in. He takes his leave telling Nihan not to be late the office since he needs her vote at the meeting, regarding the board elections.

Already at the office, Zehir gives Kemel the portfolio with the doc Emir signed unwittingly. Then, Zehir fidgets a little as he’s unsure how to tell Kemel he’s found Zhera in Izmir and he wants to go to her. Kemel has no problem with it, telling him to go and bring her back after all this is over.

Fehime and family are having breakfast when Tarik comes in. He doesn’t sit or accept anything from Banu and the family notices his attitude toward her. At Hakan’s house, Zenep scarfs down breakfast since she has to leave in a hurry. When he goes to the kitchen to see the feast she has prepared, he lets out a very satisfied sigh, apparently pleased he has a woman to cook for him. Banu confronts Tarik in the kitchen, trying to make sure he’s ok and finally asks him what his problem is. He lies that that he’s just nervous about the meeting that morning.

Episode 178 – Part 2

In Emir’s office, he and Nihan listen to an overly confident Galip assure them that there’s no way Kemel can win the vote that morning since they have the majority of the directors on their side, as long as Nihan doesn’t change her mind. In the building garage, Ayan and his guy have found Nihan’s car. They cut one of the security cams so they can search the car and they find a tracking device underneath and they report this to Kemel, and that his suspicions were correct. They decide not to remove it or tell Nihan so that Emir can continue to think that he has everything under the control.


In the meeting, the vote starts with Asu pledging support of her husband who doesn’t have a right to vote. Kemel and others walk in and Emir asks Kemel is he waiting on an invitation to sit. Kemel ignores him and indicates he has an offer to the board before they vote. He sits but states that Emir does not have the right to lead the company due to embezzlement. He then offers proof that Emir transferred company money overseas, the document that was hidden among the documents he signed when Leyla transferred the house to him. Emir can’t deny his signature but says he never robbed the company. After Emir finishes his rant of denial, Kemel renounces his candidacy and states that the new leader should be someone who has a long history with the company but not necessarily a family member. We then get a flashback of Kemel meeting with a board member he thinks should get the job and their discussion on how to make this happen. Back at the meeting, Emir directs his ire at this board member Irifan, calling him a traitor. Irifan accepts his nomination and the vote goes on. The other members don’t allow Emir to bully them and they vote for Irifan. The sore loser Emir storms out of the meeting into his office where Galip is waiting and alarmed to see the meeting ended so soon. Emir shouts that he lost and Galip assumes Kemel won. Emir yells at him the company leadership is not important and then goes on a rant about Kemel and that he will not get his loved ones. Emir’s anger continues to build and he tells Galip to leave his office and then he commences to throw things around in anger. Calmly, Kemel walks back into his own office.

Nihan comes in and sees the state of things and tells him to calm down, though he wasn't chosen this time. He looks at her incredulously and goes on a tirade about the company being his empire. He then tells her not to get her hopes up. She is still in his hands and carries his last name. At this moment, Tufan comes in to flash the 2 passport but Emir pretends the moment wasn’t planned and he throws Tufan out calling him stupid. Nihan then flashes back to when she googled the company that provides services to Turks living abroad. Having left she calls Eda to have her search Emirs office for passports. Eda reports that Emir’s and Deniz’s passports are not there. She then tells Leyla her suspicions and then makes arrangements to drop her car off and meet Kemel.

Episode 178 – Part 3

Once with Kemel she tells him what she suspects and he tells her not to worry, that Emir can’t get Deniz’s visa without her signature. She then remembers that he probably got her signature when she signed a bunch of papers for Emir while in the hospital, assuming they were all business docs and having grown tired of checking all the pages…and flashback confirms this. Kemel tells her to calm down as he would have found a way to do it anyway. Nihan is afraid that Emir will kidnap Deniz while Emir is watching Nihan’s parked car on the tracker. Kemel and Nihan are parked elsewhere talking and Nihan still can’t believe he would think of something like this just to punish her. She then tells Kemel of the time Emir threatened to take Deniz away from her and put her up for a foreign adoption. Nihan is scared that Emir will really do this. Kemel states they just have to move faster than him. He proposes that he takes Deniz first and she panics that he’s breaking his promise to her. He tells her he wouldn’t do it without her permission but she doesn’t want Deniz as a pawn between the two men. He then explains that he would send Deniz to live with his parents at their country farm for a while until things calmed down and he can make sure that she nor Leyla are harmed and he handles Emir once and for all. She proclaims her trust in him.

Later, we see Kemel at his parent’s house telling them the plan that kicks off tomorrow. Outside Banu is reporting to Emir that Kemel is in the house. When she can’t tell him why Kemel is there he questions why he’s paying her so she commits to finding out. When Kemel leaves she greets him outside but doesn’t get any info from him. But inside, true to TN style, his parents are inside discussing the plan so when she enters she hears enough of the plan to report back to Emir. Before she can make the call, Fehime and Huselyn hear the door and go to find that she has entered but she tries to pretend she just came in. She goes to her room and they ponder whether or not she overheard them talking (I hope they warn Kemel). She’s in her room and calls Emir and asks him if Kemel is the father of Deniz. She then tells him about the kidnapping plan and asks what he’s going to do. He tells her to focus on what she’s going to do instead since she has a very important role.

Hakan while driving gets a call from Emir who wants to know where his is. Upon finding out he’s headed home, Emir hangs up and heads there without a word or detail to Hakan. Meanwhile, in Izmir, Zehir has found Zhera’s new home and knocks on the door. Upon seeing it’s him she doesn’t initially answer. But as he lingers outside she comes out to greet him and the couple is reunited. He wants her to return to Istanbul with him.

At Hakan’s, Zenep returns with groceries to an empty house when Emir rings the bell. She assumes Hakan forgot his key and is shocked to see it is Emir when she opens the door. Emir is surprised to see his ‘pequena’ there but walks in stating he came to congratulate her. He looks around as she tries to get him to leave. He quips that’s she continues to surprise him and implies she’s capable of being with any man that takes her hand. She corrects him that they are roommates and she’s only there because Hakan suspects Ozan was murdered and she wants to find out what he knows by staying close to him. She defends Hakan’s character and then tries to throw him out. He instead kisses her to prove she still has and an obsession for him. He starts to leave telling her it’s not her last meeting. Just then Hakan comes in and asks what he's doing there. Emir states it business and walks out to wait for him outside. Before Hakan follows him out, he questions Zenep who confirms that Emir came there looking for him.

Much happening.

Fehima and Hussein should know they can't talk about anything involving emir n kemal in that house with that snake living with them. They didn't just Drop the ball they kicked it out

So tariq got a clue. Waaay to late. It is like all The Stupid mistakes he's made is comin back to bite him in the ass. Even tho hes admitted to the bad
Mistakes he's made its his own fault.

Emir is unrattling. "Kemal won't get his loved ones". His nastiness is now really coming to The surface. His empire is crumbling. But He has some more evil to perform. So I Shall sit back and watch with the rest Of the patio. While quarantined. With the
Rest of The world.

So I guess Nihan consents to Deniz being kidnapped by Kemal and raised by her paternal grandparents? Cause I don’t see Nihan escaping Emir anytime soon, and there’s still Asu in the way. Kemal and Nihan are severely underestimating her.

How will Asu manipulate Tariq? It’s getting worrisome. I think she’s two timing Emir, but would she try saving Tariq for Kemal or use him as a weapon too? Also, would Tariq even wait to banish Banu? He doesn’t seem to have much patience for anything.

Hussein and Fehime: if they had ever bothered to really tend to their children, they would have perceived what’s going on. Zeynep and Tariq are terrible on their own, but yet Hussein and Fehime are still bad parents- they enabled the siblings to lie to them and each other all the time. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, so what secrets are they hiding themselves?

Zeynep and Hakan: Do we really have to endure these two playing house? For a detective, Hakan is too clueless...

AnonFri, it sure does look like Nihan is actually consenting to be parted from her little one, but considering the alternative, I don't blame her. And yes, Kemal and Nihan are underestimating Asu to a significant, dangerous degree; and they don;t even have a hint about Banu. How convenient that Banu happened to walk in just in time to overhear Fehime and Huseyin. I like the way Nett put it, "true to TN style."

Asu is going to use Tarik to her benefit. she doesn't care who she backstabs as long as she gets what (who) she wants. Tarik has more patience that I expected. I figured he would run off to confront Banu, but he seems to be waiting for a perfect moment. To bad he doesn't have the savvy that Kemal has or he'd come up with a good plan to trap Banu.

THe Zeynep-Hakan relationship does not interest me in the least, but I suppose they deserve each other. I don't think Hakan has a clue that Zeynep and Tarik were key in Ozan's murder; the idiot just wants to protect and help Zeynep...DUMB!

Oh Boy, this Woo Hoo Floo is working out to be fabulous.
I got the best night's sleep I have had in years. No boomer cars blasting away at two or three in the morning rattling the windows and doors. No coffee can exhaust cars sounding like five hundred horsepower weedeaters are waking me before daylight. We have an actual curfew, and nights are peaceful and quiet. Zzzzzz Bless the fake news media.

My boat is the cleanest it has been since it left the showroom. I do not go out running around like some high schooler and I am not a 'joiner' so I am certainly not lonely. I am intelligent enough to entertain myself without assistance, and I for sure am bright enough to not watch TV with the endless propaganda and commercials.

My overly friendly Goober neighbors are leaving me alone cowering behind the sofa, afraid to even come outside. And the hillbillies are inside, masked and longing for their trailers where they could hide UNDER the house. Perfect. There is hardly any traffic on the roads. The people who routinely try to kill me with their cars when I am driving my motorcycle are home under the bed, so I gloriously have the streets and roadways to myself. The cops even seem to be unconcerned with us cray cray motorcyclists. zoom zoom.

My hope had been that the sheep would eventually see through all this, but I am beginning to have my doubts. I remind myself that these are some of the same people who idolize the likes of Kim Kardashawhore and her likes, so hope is fading. The sheep have almost completely surrendered their ability to think for themselves. That has been the plan, yes?

On the bright side, as things grow worse if you have money and do not work to begin with I can foresee some fantastic deals soon on boats, cars, motorhomes and property. Cough it up sheep.

Kirby, glad you're getting some sleep. I've never had a problem with noise since I live in the outskirts of a small town and my house is a distance from the road. Problems with sleep? Only when I have something worrisome on my mind..or I have caffeine in the evening (chocolate doesn't count LOL). Good point about fantastic deals!
