Novelera: I'm assuming you're watching this Telenovela ? Kate del Castillo is AWESOME.
An explosive episode.
Jimena listens quietly to Aurora and then blows up, grabbing a handful of Aurora’s hair. Luis pulls them apart. Say it ain’t so, Luis!
Three’s company? Reme, Emiliano and Max are having dinner at her house. Emi is clearly unhappy that Max is there. Reme claims it’s temporary. Max looks like he’s in no hurry to move out. While Max is away from the table, Emi says isn’t it time to get the divorce?
Connie meets Fausto. So, what’s new? Fausto’s getting married next week and he wants Connie to be his despedida de soltero! She can’t get out of there fast enough. On her way out, she literally runs into Roger Montero, the reporter we all met earlier in the show. She uses that opportunity to get rid of Fausto. Roger asks if Connie wants a drink, but she begs off and quickly leaves.
Jimena is demanding answers. Luis tells how he met Aurora in Monterrey and it just happened. Jime was pregnant at that time. Luis only wanted both women to be happy. Jime slaps him and yells at him to get out. She threatens him with never seeing Susi again.
Ale becomes the subject of dinner talk at Reme’s. Max thinks Ale should take self defense classes. Emi thinks otherwise. Reme says they must stay on top of this with the school. Ramiro walks in as Max mentions Ale being transgender.
Ramiro can’t believe what he heard. Ale is a woman, born in a woman’s body! Reme asks for understanding but Ramiro says she is the one that doesn’t understand. Max tries to explain. Emi tries, too. Ramiro isn’t having any of it. He blames the 3 for what’s happening. Max for not being the man of the house, Emi for coming to destroy his family, and Reme for being with both men. Reme cries, it’s hard for me too, how can you talk to us like that? Emi says it’s no one’s fault and refers to Ale as “he”. This sets Ramiro off. He calls them degenerates that will rot in hell and runs out of the room.
Jime wants to know when and how Aurora found out. She saw the family photo the day she tried on clothes at Jime’s. Why didn’t she say something then? Aurora wanted to hate Jime but she couldn’t; they were friends. She wanted to find out more first. Aurora says we are both victims. Jime doesn’t see it the same way. We are not friends, see you in court and get out.

Luis shows up at Emi’s looking for a place to stay.
Things calmed down a bit at Reme’s. Ramiro says to Reme, we crossed the Rio Grande, the desert, we’ve been together through good and bad. He can accept Ale likes women, but he can’t see Ale as a man. Reme hugs her father and asks he accepts Ale as she is.
Ale tells Dani she broke it off with Lucia. She didn’t deserve what happened and it would keep happening if they stayed together. Dani asks if she did this out of love. Ale doesn’t know and turns the convo to Dani and Mariana. Dani can’t believe someone would ever treat Mariana badly. (Now I’m wondering what really happened in Austin.) Dani wants the truth; did you break up to protect Lucia or yourself?
Fer shows up at Pablo’s with an invitation to have a night out. Jose Miguel is there and gives Fer a warm welcome. Fer is a bit jealous. Nothing to be jealous about, says Pablo, we split on good terms and now we are friends, like you and Isabel. Fer doesn’t see the similarity. Anyway, the three go out together. Fer listens as the exes walk down memory lane. Before Fer leaves, Jose Miguel asks him to come to the diner tomorrow to try out new dishes. Fer accepts.
Reme calls Connie as she arrives home and tells her what happened with Ramiro. Jime is there crying in the kitchen. Reme comes right over to Connie’s. Jime wants revenge on Luis. She recounts all of Luis’s lies and she feels betrayed by Aurora, too. Connie and Reme do not let on that they knew about Luis. Connie gives Jime a sedative. I think Connie took one, too. Jime goes on about how Aurora should have told her. She knows Connie and Reme would have told her right away. The two look very guilty.
Jime is staying the night at Connie’s. Grandma is watching Susi. How will she tell Susi? Connie advises her to wait. Jime talks about the family marriage curse and reveals she was engaged to someone when she was 16! (thankfully we do not get more details.) Connie and Reme think Jime is asleep. They talk about how they knew. Jime explodes and gets up to leave but the sedatives take effect and she collapses on the bed.
Ale spent the night at Connie’s, too. She walks in on a convo and finds out about Jime’s situation. Connie wants to keep details from her boys. Jime is a bit calmer now. She wants to go to work today.
Luis wakes up on Emi’s couch. He’s going straight to see Jimena. The guys advise he stay put. Max shows up, invited by Luis, and is designated Luis’ babysitter.
Pablo, Fer and Reme are doing the tasting at the diner. Jose Miguel ask Fer for his objective opinion. Fer is looking at Pablo when he speaks. He thinks it’s good. It’s different and people will like it. They like new things even if they go back to the old. Pablo catches his drift.
Plu and Connie talk at the office. Roger shows up. Is he interrupting? No, Plutarco was just leaving. Plu asks Tere why Roger is there. She has no idea. Tere tells Plu that Connie has changed locks on certain areas in the office and she has new keys for him. Plu continues to lurk outside Connie’s office.
And we are out.

Well, it looks like I screwed up again. For the second time in recent memory, I posted a recap on the first TyM page when the second page was already up. Oh well, as it happens, dondi356 didn't see my misplaced recap and put up a much better one on the correct page. I've got nothing to add to what you've said, dondi. It's a terrific recap, which includes several things mine doesn't include.
Yikes, I am so sorry Juanita. I didn't think to go back to the first page before I posted this morning. I thought no one was going to post.
I went back to read your recap. It was fabulous, beautifully written and you captured all the emotion of the episode. You didn’t miss anything! It should stand alone as the recap of record. Please delete mine and place yours where it rightfully belongs.
I must admit I've been feeling a little guilty because I have been lagging behind at times and haven't contributed as much as I should.

Thanks so much dondi and Juanita for putting up two excellent recaps. I think the problem is that we don't have a lot of traffic here. I'd be delighted to commit to one day a week, and I sometimes do two shorties. But, since we don't have a schedule of days, sometimes confusion ensues.
Well, Jimena doesn't disappoint, does she? She goes right to hysteria and viciousness (by this I mean toward Aurora). I have to admit I don't even feel sorry for her. She's ragged on every other cast member since day one about her perfect marriage and how theirs are obviously inferior.
I'm relieved the big secret is out. But I'm also worried that this likely means we'll see more of Jimena!
I noticed the linguistic difference when Ramiro was comforting Remedios. Mexicans call it the Rio Bravo, while people born in the United States call it Rio Grande.
I guess the point of the Fausto scene (what a horrible cad) was Connie running into Roger Montero at the restaurant. I completely forgot about the reporter. Actually I don't remember his role at all.
Max is trying to assert himself a bit. He made some remark about he, Reme, and Ramiro solving this problem as a family, excluding Emi.
I'm not wild about José Miguel. At the very least he's insensitive. He tags along on Fer and Pablo's dinner (which Pablo has some blame for inviting him). And he goes on and on about "the good old days". Fer would have to be a block of stone not to feel resentful of this.
It looks like they're going with Jimena being a bit in denial. She's going to go to work and behave as if nothing is wrong. By this I don't mean she isn't fully aware of Luis' perfidy, but she's going to pretend she's just moving on.
dondi356, there's absolutely no reason to apologize or feel bad about putting up your recap. It was my fault for not putting my recap on the right page. There was no way you could or should have known it was there. And yours is terrific!! Please do NOT even think about removing it. Let's just enjoy the embarrassment of riches.
novelera, you're right that not having a set schedule makes confusion more likely, but this time, I think the problem was simply that I again put a recap up on the wrong page. I really can't understand how that happened even once, let alone twice. But it did.
SpanProf: Looks like we might have a 3rd Season coming up if Telemundo brings it back.
SpanProf, I put Connie's having sex with Roger down to tit for tat. And, as a feminist, why should Plutarco get away with bedding Gloria (admittedly IIRC an acceptable part of the 100 días written agreement) and Connie having to abide by the old chestnut of TNs that the female lead never beds anyone but the galán unless she's raped?
SpanProf, I too was surprised that Connie had sex with Roger, but I think novelera's right in thinking it was tit for tat. I agree with her that it's rather refreshing to see the traditional strictures on the female lead's behavior in telenovelas finally beginning to change.
SpanProf, I hadn't thought about the possibility that some of the missing scenes were the result of the coronavirus rather than sloppy editing or Telemundo's cutting them. I bet you're right.
Just caught up.
First Ale was ignoring Lucia, then Lucia seems to be ignoring Ale. Marlene threatens Ale to stop contacting her daughter or she will call the police. I wonder if Marlene knows everything.
I hope the women didn’t have the “sedative party” after drinking wine.
So Connie did it on the first date. She has every right to have a little fun. But there’s something about Roger that doesn’t sit well with me.
I thought it strange that Connie didn’t politely try to break up the happenings in Dani’s room. She just ran away embarrassed. And everyone downstairs seemed so proud of Dani. I guess the concern came after the fact when Monica and Vicky spoke about protection and Connie told Plu to have a talk.
I thought it very realistic not to have Ramiro automatically change his view after the Emi talk.
It was an anonymous poster who first mentioned the shutdown causing the missing scenes. It’s highly possible but my first thought was that Telemundo was at it again. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. They have a history of extreme editing.
