DAYTIME TNs…y Mas (#1): Week of Oct. 19, 2020
Welcome to page 1 of Daytime TNs! This page is being provided to give those who are watching daytime TNs on any channel a place to discuss the TNs aired prior to 6PM. If you would like to contribute a recap or just some highlights for a daytime TN, I’m sure there are those who watch the same TNs that would appreciate it. TNS currently being discussed are

MARIANA
Best scene: Lola letting it slip in front of Iggy that Cumache gave Marcia the baby.
2nd best scene: Lola chatting with Isidro and chomping on the peanuts she conveniently took from the cantina.
Worst transition: in one scene, Mariana is being so nasty to Iggy and then in the next acne she is all calm and understanding. What happened in between? You you could get whiplash from this episode with Mariana.
El Cumache in that satin a shirt and straw fedora looked like a pimp.
Marcia finds out that Mariana is not Atilio’s biological daughter but is a product of his beloved Elisa and a Lugo-Navarro. Yuck!
Another character I cannot stand: Lucrecia. A confession and a bunch of Hail Marys and Our Fathers just isn’t going to do it.
Finally a couple of sane characters: Camilo Is leaving Chachi and goes to proclaim his love for Yadira. I hope Camilo doesn’t go running back.
Seeing Lola having problems crossing the street in Costa Esmeralda brought me back to Beverly Hillbillies land.

Good grief, that shirt Cumache was wearing could be used as neon beacon.
ITA about Lucrecia; she has become one insufferable meddlesome MIL. And why does everyone keep saying that the baby, now named Jose Antonio, will be fatherless if Iggy and Mariana reconcile. It's not like he'll be dead!
I doubt that Camilo and Yadira will find their happiness anytime soon, but hopefully by the end of this parody...if they both survive Chachi.

Oh I forgot...Juan Pablo was quick to criticize Yadira's dress in the previous episode, but didn't even blink when he saw Mariana..and IMO Mariana's dress is much more revealing than Yadira's was. Playing by a double standard, are we??

The funniest part was when Camilo was trying to sleep and Chachi kept turning on the light then when he was leaving and preparing his suitcase and she kept taking his clothes out lol

Jarifa, I agree that María Lola had the best scenes as she often does. I loved it when she pulled out all those cantina nuts, or whatever they were, from her coat pocket.

For me it's hard to accept that Yadira and young padre J.P. are talking like nothing much happened. His so brief "apology" reminded me of those who apologize by saying "I'm sorry you feel that way".
Well, maybe he had been out of sorts from too much wine at Communion earlier.
Mariana is a very pretty woman, but in no way is she some glamorous sexpot that guys would be tripping over themselves to be near. For me at least, her role in the casino is totally unbelievable.
Marcia spends more time with the baby discussing her schemes rather than for any other reason.

At least Camilo and Mariana got it straightened out, but they didn't have to push my blood pressure through the roof first. Why did they bother with that? In two minutes they have this big misunderstanding and then get over it. Sheesh!
And then Iggy walks in about five seconds too late to hear Mariana's confession to her roommates as to why she rejected him. Oy.
Wow! Qué sexy bombshell is María Lola, and dropping her own bombshells, as usual. Viva Lola!

Sometimes when we have these head-spinning sudden changes of heart, or separations followed almost immediately by reconciliations, I have to wonder if Unimás is doing some cutting and splicing.
Or is it just Mejía's way of keeping us on our toes? Or trying to make us as crazy as he must be?

Yeah, it looks like no Mariana until Friday. I don't understand why fútbol in the afternoon is changing the 9 AM schedule. For these few days it seems they will be showing "Nosotros los guapos".
This makes no sense to me, but OK, maybe we could use a short break from the madness.

Oh, silly me! I just checked at zap2it.com and the pregame show, or a preliminary game, starts at 9 AM on the west coast.
Obviously I'm not a big sports fan. The idea of watching sports at 9 AM is just totally foreign to me. I'd sooner watch "Nosotros los nacos".
Err, "Nosotros los guapos", that is. I'm just practicing the little Spanish I've actually learned watching TNs.
