DAYTIME TNs…y Mas (#2): Week of Nov. 23, 2020
Welcome to page 2 of Daytime TNs! This page is being provided to give those who are watching daytime TNs on any channel a place to discuss the TNs aired prior to 6PM. If you would like to contribute a recap or just some highlights for a daytime TN, I’m sure there are those who watch the same TNs that would appreciate it. TNS currently being discussed are:
9 -11 AM – Mariana de
la Noche (Unimás)
12-2 PM – Alborada (Unimás)
3 -4 PM - Cita a Ciegas (Univisión)
7-8 PM - Pájaro Soñador (Unimás-repeat aired at 8AM
the following morning.)

MARIANA #118/119
1. Marcia should start a psychic hotline. She knew Mari would marry Atilio.
2. We knew Chachi was going to infect somebody with those disposable cups. Whoopsie.
3. Camilo down't laugh when Isidro tells him about his shapeshifting ways.
4. César Évora does the deathbed performance justice.
5. Why do telenovela characters always talk to themselves loud enough to be overheard?
6. It looked Like Oropo was going to end up as the only character to have his head on straight until he died.
7. Loved how they coordinated the purple shirts and navy jeans between Marcia and Iggy.
8. Iggy and Mari is the same old same old.
9. Uh oh, Marcia has fatal plans for Iggy.
10. I thought for sure that Iggy would have knocked Mari down outside of Atiio's door when he stormed out.
11. Chachi is nuttier than ever and Camilo knows.
12. So how many more will learn of Lucrecia's partial recovery now that Isabel has let the cat out of the bag? Can I vote for Marcia ending out sooner rather than later? just the person that Lucrecia is concerned about.
13. So, Lucrecia continues to be Marcia"s "confessor" especially now since she had the old priest killed. I always have to smile when she gets in bed to talk to Lucrecia.
15. Atilio didn't miss a beat getting his message out to the new engineer about Mari being off limits.

Jarifa, thanks for your summary. I managed to watch today, but I was also busy with something else.
Well, poor Oropo. He doesn't get the girl and then he croaks. But he done good. Camilo and Yadira seemed to appreciate it for at least a few seconds. Her parents were more impressed with his sacrifice.
Atilio is now threatening the new engineer. Mariana is fairly dimwitted, but if yet another possible suitor meets with an accident even she might be suspicious.
"9. Uh oh, Marcia has fatal plans for Iggy." You bet she does. If he doesn't heel and love her as she "loves" him, well then he's got to go. It's been a while since Marcia had poor Cándida done away with, and the annoying baby seems to have nine lives, so now she'll see if she can get rid of Iggy. I suspect not :-)

Awww, no more Oropo...boohoo. Have to agree with you, Andy, Yadira's parents were more appreciative.
You'd think Marcia would a least wait until Iggy has another admirer to wish him dead so no one else can have him. Maybe that kiss Iggy gave her while thinking of Mariana will save his little butt. Ughh...but of course he has to be saved...for the happy final.
For someone who wants secrecy about her progress, Lucrecia sure can't keep her own secret. (rolling eyes)

Hola mi querido Patio, I was scrolling around on my cable TV guide today and saw that Telemundo is showing the original Yo Soy Betty La Fea in the mornings. Looks like it began two weeks ago, so it is still in early days. I saw this maybe ten years ago and have set it to record for a re-watch. And yes, I know this is the Univision/Unimás patio, but I just can't help myself. If any of you have not seen it, this is a really good one. Really. :-)

I would love to watch this, and will, at least for a while, but I am a little bit concerned. Wikipedia says it has 335 episodes, though it doesn't give hours. IMDb gives runtime of 30 min (Mexico), 45 min (original) (Colombia).
I'm not sure what exactly these mean, but even 167 hour long episodes would be a lot. As long as La que no podía amar.
Anybody know? BTW, it airs at 1 PM here in the Eastern Time zone.

BTW. the episodes I missed are free ON DEMAND, so am Binge watching those first 10 episodes. Yay!
It is more dramatic than La Fea Mas Bella, which I gave up on halfway thru its run because it was too ... silly/cartoonish ... for me, although it has its faithful legion of fans.
