DAYTIME TNs…y Mas (#1): Week of Dec. 21, 2020
Welcome to page 1 of Daytime TNs! This page is being provided to give those who are watching daytime TNs on any channel a place to discuss the TNs aired prior to 6PM. If you would like to contribute a recap or just some highlights for a daytime TN, I’m sure there are those who watch the same TNs that would appreciate it.
9 -11 AM - Contra
Viento y Mares (Unimás)
12-2 PM – Alborada (Unimás)
1-2 PM - Yo Soy Betty, La Fea (Telemundo)
2-3 PM - Mañana Es Para Siempre (Univisión)
7-8 PM - Pájaro Soñador (Unimás-repeat aired at 8AM the following morning.)
This page can also be used as a forum to keep in touch, discuss
strolls down the Caray! Caray! memory
lane, or anything else that is of interest to the patio.
Please remember that ANY daytime novela can be
discussed and everyone is welcome to join in the conversation. Friendly
reminder to PLEASE put the name of the telenovela you're
referring to at the top of your post so readers can easily find the
conversations they're looking for. (You can shorten the title to one word,
i.e., “Mariana”)
This page will be posted on Mondays and
Thursdays before 12PM.
Labels: daytime, pajaro, viento
I see this has been discussed in the previous page, so I thought of following up. I watched the first episode when it first started to air and I have to say it's the perfect novela to watch in the afternoon. A lot of beanie moments, but a true classic, with the big rancho, the disputed herencia, lost child, madre dolorida, the town priest, the cantina... you name it, this novela has it all. The one downside for me: the main couple is mehhh, I don't find either of them particularly appealing and when I watch something that makes my brain go numb, I need some eye candy or some passionate smooches.
Oh, thank you for your input, Adriana! I'm going to quote you on the next "Coming Soon" page, if you don't mind :-)
RGV Chick: Can you include this Telenovela because Univision has moved it to 1:00 PM CST.
Adriana - thank you for your post and initial opinion. I will give this a try, along with the new Silvia Navarro one on Telemundo in January. My telenovela cup will soon runneth over in January, and something will have to give. Oh...the drama. LOL
In case I don't stop by again this week, I want to wish y'all a merry Christmas, belated happy Hanukkah, happy Festivus, a happy whatever, and stay healthy!!!
Happy Festivus! It's today!
Thanks, Doris, for the reminder, and I wish everybody a belated Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy New Year 2021!
No wonder people now say "Happy Holidays!" :-)
My predictions for the new year: people will remember to write 2021 on their checks rather than 2020; fewer baby girls will be named Karen in 2021; no one will ever look back fondly on 2020.
Andy
Yeah, this year I'm not even bothering with "Happy _____". Instead I'm saying "Stay Healthy!" and think of our patio's Nina, every time.
