I've been watching this and following along with the commentary. Just like everyone else, I'm enjoying the scenery and a step back into the traditional TN. I think I know who just about everyone is in the show, but like Blue, I was having trouble figuring out who is who when it comes to the mayor's three.

I agree with UA, Lorenzo's beating was unforgiveable.

And Doris. I kept hoping for "just a bit more!" during the Mateo shower scene :-D

Andy, I had not realized who the actor playing the priest is! Thanks for that tidbit of info. Hope you keep dropping in once in while.

So will Mateo suddenly appear riding his horsie and chasing after the goons who kidnapped Val?? That would be nice :-)

I'm not sure how long I will be able to stay with QT, what with Suerte de Loli beginning in a couple of weeks and hockey season, too. Ack. But I'll try to make it all work.

Mateo went to the rescue and was stabbed in the process. Yet another medical emergency for Mateo and Valeria was on the scene. I'm wondering why the guy with the knife ran off rather than try to do him in completely.

Aaron and Esmeralda hid Lorenzo, but I have no confidence that the writers will have him telling Esmaeralda or Padres Gabriel anytime soon.

Good Morning from the Alamo City. Roll Tide Roll BABY as the University of Alabama won their 18th National Championship last night 52-24 & Saban's 7th surpassing the legendary Bear Bryant.

Now back to the short recap on yesterday's episode:
1.) Jackass #2 Camilo & Erika talking about a life changing bombshell.

2.) Dumb Fernanda searching for Damian at the Elizalde Mansion. She realizes he's gone: moved out.

3.) The EVIL Doctor gets roughed up by Franco, who scolds him again.

4.) Outside of the mental institution clinic, Franco meets Psycho Barbara there. Paulina (the lady who works there) mentions something.

5.) Martina roughs up the EVIL Doctor & I love it. Mariana Rios was amazing in this Telenovela.

6.) Martina presses the golf club against the EVIL Doctor's throat. I was hoping she ripped out his entire throat.

7.) Over at Grupo HQ, Jackass #1 Annibal & Jackass #2 Camilo scheming & plotting.

8.) Dumb Fernanda barges into Jackass #1 Annibal's office & nags about Damian being nowhere to be found.

9.) Speaking of Damian, he's hiding out at Vladimir's ugly apartment. He talks about $3 million dollars 🤔

10.) The nagging mother of Damian & Vladimir shows up crying & nagging. It got so annoying that Daddy Elizalde gave her the eye-roll of being annoyed with the drunk-in-law.

We know Gonzalo. We hate her too!

11.) Jackass #1 Annibal nags about Franco once again which pisses off Dumb Fernanda.

12.) Priscila gets annoyed with Jackass #1 Annibal.

OK, I only just realized that the inappropriately dressed hitchhiker is the mayor's new squeeze. If they can't give these girls different hair, how about some tattoos or something? Jeez.

And Angelita is already showing herself to be a tidy little liar...and all for a manky animal foot fished out of a wife-beater's chest hairs. I still like her, though. Those pink cowgirl boots!
 

QT - episode 4

I'm behind already, but last one I watched is the one where Esmeralda was burying that bag of money. That is the blackest soil I have ever seen. Probably from old volcanic ash? I saw that same soil in another telenovela years ago and drooled over it.

BHOs (Beanie hat observations):
1. Her light beige boots never got a speck of dirt on them. Ever.
2. Her pants didn't get messed up when she knelt down in said black soil. She wore that same outfit all day long.
3. Completely inappropriate clothes for burying a sack of money, but, hey, it's a telenovela. :-)

So today we saw the blood transfusion between the half-brothers who just happen to have the same rare blood type! Leo has to be persuaded to help Mateo who rescued the lovely lady and was injured in the process. We can add this to our bingo cards.
 

I don't trust Sandy either.

Today is three more Bingo squares:

1. Criminal confesses to the priest in the confessional booth and reveals the mastermind's name. Now the good padre has to deal with this secret for at least 2/3rds of the story.

2. Love triangle involving the two protagonists and a potentially nasty little gold-digger. Older gold-digger is probably going to start chasing the potential heir as well.

3. The missing dinero is hidden in a very unsafe place.

Whom do all of you think will find it?
