"MEPS" Episode 123 (Part XXVII):
338.) I see that the Cheese Fair for Grupo Lactos was very intriguing LOL. Redhead is the belle of the ball & we can tell the cheese must taste pretty damn good.

339.) In the meantime at Colegio Buena Esperanza: Moping Santiago is standing outside of the convent. One of the nuns asked Gullible Aurora if she wants to see him. The anvil needs to happen NOW.

340.) At some point: Santiago will have to figure out that he's the Baby Daddy of Gullble Aurora's kid, but how will he react to the news of Gullible Aurora being raped by Jackass #2 Camilo ?

341.) Just as I predicted: Santiago snaps & goes beast-mode on Gullible Aurora demanding to know who was the guy she was banging in bed. He also launches insults at the gullible idiot by calling her a slut & whore.

342.) Back at the Cheese Fair, Don Agustin wants Eduardo/Franco to eat some cheese. Dona Dolly warns her stupid daughter, Clingy Erika to STOP praising her BFF Redhead to her fiance's face.

343.) Over at the Elizalde Mansion: More of Psycho Barbara & Daddy Elizalde: Fast Forward.

344.) We go over to Jackass #2 Camilo & Venus/Lovely discuss eloping, but Daddy Elizalde tells his jackass son to wait until Liliana is found. We can also tell that Jackass #1 Anibal is NOT interested in this conversation & goes somewhere.

345.) We go back to Psycho Barbara pulling out all of the stops: buttering up Daddy Elizalde LOL.

346.) Florecita remembers the threats Psycho Barbara launched at her with the flashbacks; Redhead wanted to know about the mystery guy at the office.

347.) Casa Santorro: Eduardo/Franco finds out that Steve, Jr., has gone completely unhinged over Venus/Lovely planning to marry Jackass #2 Camilo. Right on cue, we see Martina barging into the room to report the same thing: Venus/Lovely has decided to marry Jackass #2 Camilo.

348.) Back at Grupo Lactos: Redhead continues to pump information out of Florecita about the mystery guy who showed up at the office.

349.) Florecita (knowing she'll probably get fired AGAIN) decides to spill the beans to Redhead & mentions the mystery guy is Ruben Villasana launching taunts that Mooching Damian is a swindler.

350.) While Redhead promised Florecita that Psycho Barbara won't have her fired, the moment doesn't last long as Psycho Barbara barges into Redhead's office & launches daggers at the GULLIBLE IDIOT Florecita. Redhead said "You're here. What's it to you ?"

QT #76 Part 1 of 4

Valeria admired the beautiful mare and locked eyes with Mateo.

Magdalena and Victor sat in a café talking about what happened. She was incredulous that anyone would try to kill her. He suggested Lionel, reminding her about his threats and that the Montes have “bad blood.” He told her she could not go back to the ranch. She did not want to be away from Val. He told her she had two choices: Tell the truth now or leave and not return. He wanted to protect her. She was stubborn.

Servando called Leo to report hearing nothing about Magda. He was worried about Victor possibly being suspicious. He and Leo agreed that this could not be ignored.

Val and Matt continued to talk about Leo and why she should not marry him. The same stalemate followed by a better kiss and... a slap.

Having obtained the quarter million pesos Sandy gave them to Uriel,saying that it would be all he would get fro her. He looked like he had other ideas, but did not argue with her. She reminded him she was the mayor's brat before she left.

The next morning Servando told Leo there was nothing being said in town. No dead body had been found. He was leery of making enquiries out of fear of raising suspicion. Servando asked about Magda bu Leo said they would talk later. Victor arrived and Leo had to talk to him.

While at the charity house Val talked on the phone with someone at Avon. Remi had not arrived. As she ended the call Chacho and Berenice arrived asking if they could stay temporarily in an upstairs room. Val said they were being worked on and asked if they would come to the ranch. Berenice said she didn't want any problems with Sandy. There was a small room on the lower floor, so Val suggested it. While Chacho brought the suitcases into it Berenice explained what happened and she needed to get independent of her parents. Val told her about the Avon deal and that its income would help everyone.
 

QT #76 Part 2 of 4

Victor asked Leo if he knew anything about the near hit and run. He claimed to know nothing. Victor did not reveal anything he knew. Corina entered and he asked for Magda. She said she had not returned the previous night. Victor then left.

Sabina visited Carlo with a picnic basket and talked him into joining her.

Tito accompanied Corina on her morning shopping. --- FF

Dalia had physical therapy in her room. After the therapist left Dalia told Sandy she had decided to give her the money. Sandy made a pretense of turning it down but Salia said she would give it to her to help her father [¡Ay, Dios mio, no es bueno!] Sandy made a teary show of thanks.

Aaron and Flavio went over Dalia's lab tests. The urinalysis showed high levels of amphetamines, which looked strange. Neither of them had prescribed this as it was contra-indicated for patients with high blood pressure.

Leo and Art shot a campaign video. The director yelled “Cut! It's a wrap!”. Leo sent Sandy to get Val. Servando told him there was still no news of Remi [Did the shaman find him? We have to hope so.]

Juanita and Camila were once again under surveillance in the town square. He said he couldn't bring her home to Mother. No room at the inn because he was broke. This ended in a fight, which ended with him walking away. Facundo watched the whole thing and made a creepy pass at Camila. He said Juan would never be what she wants because “He's on the other side.” She got away.
 

QT #76 Part 3 of 4

Val overheard Sandy on the phone with Uriel, talking about getting another fake positive pregnancy test. Val got away without being caught, making her a miracle in heeled boots.

Sab and Carlo picnicked in a clearing where they talked about their youths. He mentioned an abandoned cabin he and Matt found and the thought that it belonged to a witch. They heard a noise, then resumed their conversation.

Later, they had a problem with the car. Both were a little drunk and almost ended up in a compromising position or two.

Servando drove into the woods to the crime scene. Remi was not to be found.

Sab and Carlo found an empty cabin with a fireplace. It looked as though it had not been occupied in a long time and – sorpresa – it looked clean.

Magda was seized from behind while talking on her cell with Victor. She was taken away in a camioneta.

Carlo and Sab buit a fire. They heard another noise, but only one. Compromising positions to follow?

Someone reported Magda's kidnapping and a rather slow cop told Art, who freaked out at him. The cop almost ran out and Art doubled over in pain with a cardiac event.

Esmeralda returned to the former saloon; Carlo was not there.

Vicente tool Luisa to the bus station, explaining why she needed to get away from Art. She told him she could not leave Art and did not expect him to understand.

Esme looked at her cell and saw the texts from Carlo and Matt. She called Matt who told her his mum was home and asleep. Val entered as he was ending the call. She apologized for the slap, they agreed to forget it, and she asked about Magda; she had not seen her all day. Also, Remi had never arrived in Mexico City to sign the contracts. “He's my best friend in the world and if anything ever happened to him I'd die.” Matt then realized her memory had returned and asked why she had never told him. Did she not trust him? She said she had trust issues with everyone. This led to her telling him she thought Sandy lied to get him to marry her. “Are you sure she's pregnant? Because I doubt it big time.”

 

QT #76 Part 4 of 4

Carlo pulled back from Sab, saying this was a mistake. She scolded herself about her past meaning Leo, his dad, and Angelita's (unnamed) sperm donor. “The only truth in my life is my daughter, but I am not Mother of the Year.” They ended up just sitting in front of the fire.

Luisa ended up boarding the bus.

Matt asked Val if she had any proof. She said she didn't but that she knew Sandy wasn't the angel Matt thought she was. She told him what she had overheard and that he needed to be careful. He still resisted the idea, saying she had hidden her recovery. “and you've never hidden anything from anyone?” she asked him.

 

ECDLP #21

- Nazario tells Lucia where to find a fire extinguisher. She attempts to put out the flames.
- Marcelo arrives at the factory and runs into Lucia. She tells him about the fire.
- Lucia calls the fire department/ambulance. Marcelo enters the storeroom in a drape and drags Nazario out.
- Alonso goes to see Amador. He apologizes and offers Amador to return to the factory.
- Lucia calls Alonso and tells him about the fire and that Nazario was taken to the hospital. Amador offers to take care of things at the factory.
- Nora is freaking out that the truth about her and Rodrigo will be discovered.
- Lucia calls Magdalena. Magdalena tells Trini about what happened to Nazario.
- Lucia asks Marcelo why he went to the factory. She has no idea what happened to cause the fire and blames herself. Alonso arrives at the hospital.
- Brigida tells Rodrigo about the fire at the factory.
- Amador is informed that the fire is under control and was likely caused by a short circuit in a lightbulb but an official investigation will be done.
- Alonso thanks Marcelo. Marcelo was unaware that Nazario and Trini are Lucia’s godparents. Lucia wants Marcelo to be checked out for a burn injury on his arm so he goes off.
- Alonso calls Rebeca as Trini and Magdalena arrive at the hospital. Nazario is being treated for smoke inhalation.
- Sara informs everyone that Nazario is suffering from a dangerous level of smoke inhalation that may cause respiratory depression and death. She takes Trini to Nazario’s hospital room.
- Marcelo asks about Nazario’s condition. Amador calls Alonso and says the fire was put out but the storeroom was destroyed. He asks about Nazario.
- Amador meets with Vinicio and tells him someone was hurt in the fire and there will be an investigation. Amador tells him he’ll give him the rest of the money first thing on Monday.
- Alonso, Lucia and Marcelo leave the hospital while Magdalena stays. Marcelo asks Alonso to keep him informed of Nazario’s condition etc. Lucia asks Marcelo for forgiveness for judging him poorly.
- Amador gets Brigida up to speed about the fire and Nazario being hospitalized. Brigida is suspicious that the fire happened the day Amador was fired.
- Lucia and Alonso also get Rebeca updated on everything. Alonso tells her that Marcelo saved Nazario and that Amador is handling things with the investigation etc
- Lucia and Marcelo think about her apology to him.
- The next day Trini and Magdalena are by Nazario’s bedside when he starts to slowly regain consciousness.
- Lucia tells Leti about what happened and about how Marcelo saved Nazario. Leti wants to meet Marcelo. Nora overhears their conversation.
- Nora wants to know why no one told her about the fire. She is jealous that Lucia got to spend time with Marcelo. She tells Rebeca she likes Marcelo and nobody will steal him from her. Rebeca wants the issue with Rodrigo to be resolved first.
- Amador is mad that Rodrigo and Brigida think he had something to do with the fire. Amador warns Rodrigo to stay away from Lucia AND Nora.
- Rebeca asks Marcelo if he’s interested in Nora and if he’s not he shouldn’t get her hopes up. She then asks if he’s interested in Lucia. — -
- Marcelo is sure that the flowers that were delivered the other night were for Rebeca. She denies it and says the flowers weren’t for anyone but if they were that means she’s important to someone. Marcelo says yeah to Alonso. Rebeca is flattered that he thinks that she’s attractive to someone. She then moves in for a kiss as Nora walks into the apartment.
 

ECDLP #22

- After witnessing her mother and Marcelo in a lip lock, Nora quickly exits with a “sorry for the interruption”. Rebeca runs after her. Nora accuses her of wanting Marcelo all to herself.
- Rebeca tells Nora she went to talk to Marcelo about Nora’s obsession with him. Rebeca tells Nora to stop bugging Marcelo. Marcelo watches them from his balcony.
- Magdalena is at the church and asks Padre Samuel to say a prayer for Nazario. She won’t be able to stay for mass.
- On her way out she runs into Mario who offers to accompany her to Nazario’s house.
- Trini refuses to leave the hospital when Alonso and Lucia insist. Just then, Nazario wakes up. He starts ask where he is and tries to remove his oxygen mask
- Nora returns home and breaks a vase in her room and cries. Rebeca hears her from outside the door but doesn’t go in.
- Lucia runs into Marcelo in the waiting room and encourages him to go see Nazario. After all, Marcelo saved his life. Marcelo and Lucia agree to be friends.
- Mario asks Magdalena why she isn’t living in Alonso’s house. He asks her out for coffee sometime.
- Nazario thanks Marcelo again for saving his life. Marcelo and Lucia exchange flirty looks.
- Amador tells Brigida they’re going to the hospital to see Nazario.
- Alonso finds Nora in bed. She says she has a headache but Alonso wonders if there’s something more. Nora claims to be upset about her breakup with Sergio.
- Alonso tells Rebeca he’s worried about Nora’s ever changing mood. He thinks she needs professional help.
- Magdalena thinks Lucia has a crush on Marcelo and wonders if she is interested in getting to know him better.
- Marcelo finds Milagros and Rafaela in his apartment. Lorena gave Milagros his new address.
- Sara decides to discharge Nazario but orders him complete rest.
- Amador fakes relief that Nazario is fine. Brigida thought Nazario was supposedly dying.
- Brigida asks to talk to Lucia. She says Rodrigo was worried about Lucia. Brigida thinks Lucia has already moved on from Rodrigo and plans to marry soon. Lucia basically tells her to mind her own business.
- Rebeca asks Nora if she really thinks R is capable of betraying Alonso. Nora says no and apologizes.
- Rebeca tells Nora that Alonso wants her to get professional help. Alonso goes to pick up everyone from the hospital. Rebeca tells Nora she’d better be out of bed by the time Alonso returns
- Marcelo doesn’t think it’s an opportune time for Milagros and Rafaela to visit. He gets a mysterious phone call.
- Brigida tells Amador she went to Marcelo’s apartment to confront him and that she slapped him. In response, Amador slaps her and says he doesn’t need her to defend him. He doesn’t want to be seen as a man who hides behind his wife/a woman.
- Nazario gets settled in at home. He asks Trini if at any moment she thought the worst.
- Marcelo meets with Rebeca at a restaurant. She wants to apologize for what happened earlier. Marcelo doesn’t think Lucia is ready to pursue a relationship with anyone.
- Leti is with Gloria when she spots Rebeca and Marcelo.
- Lucia is afraid to enter the church but decides to wait for Magdalena outside. Rodrigo walks up and says he’s glad she wasn’t hurt in the fire. He hopes they can be friends but can’t tell her the truth about why he left her at the altar. He acknowledges that he was a coward.
- Marcelo tells Rafaela that he found the woman who caused Federico’s suicide but hasn’t done anything yet. He reveals that the woman’s husband is very kind to him. He says that he’s falling in love with the daughter of the woman’s husband. Milagros walks up and says she knew that Marcelo’s trip to Puebla had something to do with a woman. How could he do that to Daniela when she’s been waiting so long to marry Marcelo?

Milagros is truly a mother from hell. Daniela is such a drip and I can't imagine what Marcelo ever saw in her.

He seems careless to not have told the secretary not to tell his mother how to find him.

I really feared for Nazario's life.

Brigida should be gagged.

QT #77 Part 1/3

Leo checks Sabina’s empty bedroom and calls her phone to check her location.

Mag is seated on a chair, wearing a blindfold. Basurto comes in to release her and tells her he’s sorry to kidnap her, but it’s important that no one know where she is. She’s in a secure house out of town. This is a way for people to understand Leo’s true character. Mag begs the inspector to not tell Val she’s her mother, then hugs him in gratitude.

Val is in bed thinking about Matt and whether he has lied to her. Matt is asleep, dreaming that he is looking for his mother. He sees a figure, but can’t see the face. He wakes up, as does Sandy. Is this the same dream as the other night?

Carlo and Sab startle awake in the empty cabin. It’s early morning and they must get home.
Esme enters the restaurant and is concerned to find it empty. Where is Carlo?

Bere and Chacho are together in their small room. Bere is worried but he assures her that things will be ok. Does she want to return home? No—there’s too much fighting. Chaco will stick with her. They embrace.

Art, Eva and Sandy are discussing their family. Art is sure Bere will be back in a couple of days. Eva is sad about the whole situation. She sits down beside Art on the couch, and lays her head on his shoulder. He doesn’t seem to care about her sadness.

It’s family breakfast time at La Noria. Sab rolls in, to raised eyebrows and Minnie’s snide remarks. She explains the night fog and the car breakdown. She excuses herself to go for a bath. Mag has disappeared and no one has heard from Remi. Basurto appears to report to Leo. Mag has been kidnapped.

Carlo comes back to the restaurant and Esme. She was on a retreat, without her phone. Once she returned and read her messages, she was upset. He explains the kid’s game with the messages credited to him and Sabina. Then he outlines what happened the previous foggy night. Once he kissed Sab, he knew it was wrong. Esme tells him that if not Sab, then someone else will come along to attract him.

 

QT # 77 Part 2/3

Leo and Basurto are in the big guy’s hacienda office. Once Leo is the mayor, things will change—for better or worse. They need better security in town. The disappearance of Remi and Mag could be related. Is someone playing and cat and mouse game? Basurto needs to find out more and bring Leo more answers and fewer questions. (Basurto is doing a good job to keep his cool with both Art and Leo, even when Leo is threatening him.)

Val is outside crying about Remi and Mag. Matt is at the stable and turns to her, holding her for comfort.

Dalia is having breakfast in bed, with Matt and Sandy for company. Sandy tells her the news—Bere left home after a big fight and Mag has been kidnapped. Dalia is agitated.

Carlo and Esme continue their discussion. He assures her that he loves her. She replies that love may not be enough. He can bring flowers, notes, and other love tokens, but there is a great divide between them. She is not the right one for him. He finally accepts her decision and tells her adios. She stands up and leaves.

Art is standing behind the fonda counter along with Facundo. Cami comes in to purchase something and mentions she no longer works at the cantina. Art explains Luisa’s departure and says Cami could work along with Facundo. He will show her the ropes.

Dalia’s therapist leaves as Esme comes in for a visit. She was so sorry she couldn’t be there for her sister. Dalia understands and asks not to be treated like an invalid. She looks at Esme and asks about her sister’s sad face. Esme says she broke up with Carlo in a cordial way. She couldn’t continue fighting with him.

Art is with Basurto, who has no update on Mag’s kidnapping. The inspector will have to find out, since there’s an election coming up! Basurto asks about Luisa. Art says she left to go back home and it’s none of Basurto’s business. As for Vicente, Art will get even with him and make him pay!


 

QT # 77 Part 3/3

Dalia and Esme continue to catch up with events. Dalia is afraid she will die before Matt is able to find his birth mother. She wants Esme to help him if needed. Esme promises that she will.

We have a brief glimpse of Tirso in a group clinic, taking a pill (of which he questions the purpose.)

Matt and a horse are with the visiting vet. Sandy is in the background, then moves to speak with the vet. Val arrives and talks with Matt. She apologizes for her accusations against Sandy. They discuss truth and trust.

Leo comes to see Dalia, at her request. (And rather rudely tells her to hurry it up, he doesn’t have much time. We need blue spirit Patricio to come along and apply a boot to Leo’s rear.) She wants Esme to come and live at the hacienda (not sure if in a smaller property or in the big house.) Leo reminds Dalia that he’s in total charge, but he will agree to her appeal.

Sandy come up to Matt and thanks him for defending her (giving her her place). She wonders what Val said about her? Nothing, replies Matt.

Servendo and Leo are hashing over the non-results of their recent murder attempts. There’s no sign of Remi’s corpse, so they should keep a low profile. Leo doesn’t like the situation (of course, since he’s not in control of it.)

Club Remi is cheering off-screen. Val’s sweet friend is alive and under the care of Sulem in his backwoods clinic. He lies on his stomach, showing a bullet hole in his back. (Did Servendo shoot him more than once?) He manages to tell Sulem not to tell anyone he’s there.



 

QT #77

Gracias!

I have always had the feeling that Remi is a populiar character and killing him would have sunk the ratings of this series.
Remi could end up being the real hero of this tale.

Dalia asked that Esmeralda be allowed to move into the house she had previously lived in. She will be near Dalia when the ull truth comes out about Mateo's parentage.

The problem with Victor's trap is that they will need a new safe house later.

I am posting from my phone so I will post more later after I get home.
 

"MEPS" Episode 124 (Part XXVIII):
351.) In Puebla Madero: City officials delivering resolutions honoring Grupo Lactos at the Cheese Fair.

352.) Redhead, Priscila & Co., cut the red ribbons.

353.) Franco is with Clingy Erika at the Cheese Fair. Also there are Nagging Gardenia, Jacinto, Mags, Florecita & Tomasa; I should note Silvestre, Dr. Carlos & Martina are there as well.

354.) In the meantime at Colegio Buena Esperanza: Dumbass Santiago gets aggressive in roughing up Gullible Aurora.

We see flashbacks of Psycho Barbara launching insults & roughing up Gullible Aurora at the Elizalde Mansion.

355.) Dumbass Santiago launches derogatory insults at Gullible Aurora. Hmm: this girl needs to tell him the truth that Jackass #2 Camilo raped her.

356.) Once Dumbass Santiago leaves (Thank God we'll never see him again), one of the nuns is concerned for Gullible Aurora & notify Mother Superior on the situation.

357.) Over at the Elizalde Mansion: Daddy Elizalde still STUPID as Psycho Barbara continues milking it.

358.) Back to the Cheese Fair in Pueblo Madero: Dona Dolly Astorga & Clingy Erika talking.

359.) Grupo Lactos: Jackass #1 Anibal & Jackass #2 Camilo plotting more schemes to get more $$$$$$$.

360.) Colegio Buena Esperanza: Gullible Aurora is barefoot on the bed crying while Mother Superior comforts her.

361.) Casa Santorro: Franco sees Steve, Jr., packing his belongings. G
He noticed that his BFF is jealous of seeing Venus/Lovely being with Jackass #2 Camilo.

In the meantime at the Elizalde Mansion: Redhead tells Mooching Damian she's filing for divorce. Yet, Mooching Damian declares he will NEVER divorce Redhead & he's determined to remain in the marriage until death does them part.

362.) Casa Santorro: More nagging from Steve, Jr., about Venus/Lovely being with Jackass #2 Camilo.

363.) Martina barges into the room & tells them Venus/Lovely is moving out & moving into the penthouse apartment of Jackass #2 Camilo. Both Franco & Steve, Jr., are shocked.
